The place is pretty nice and clean.The staff were very nice. They try to help out whenever they can. I had so many questions and he was answering them really patently and nicely. Me and my friend got a tattoo, she got a writing on her hand for $120 and I did a heart kind of shape (with an arrow and a “;”) on my ankle which was $80. Since this was our first tattoos, it was a great experience because he did it very professionally. But since it’s our first I’m not sure how to pricing is compared to other places, however, I think it’s pretty good since all the touch ups and foiling is in the price.I recommend this place overall.

Its hard to find a tattoo/piercing shop thats open late anymore after covid. Let alone one as nice as this one. The guys in there are also very cool, Austin, the piercer did a great job with mine and my girlfriends piercings. Will definitely be coming back here to do more business.

Hands down the best tattoo Ive ever gotten. St. MarQs reputation precedes him. Hes very experienced and very detail oriented. I dont think I could bring myself to use another artist now that MarQ has tattooed me. On top of that hes a damned good guy as well. Ill post pictures after hes done.

*Review of Artist Blake Fales*I had an excellent tattoo experience with Blake! He took my notes and created a beautiful design to cover my old tattoo. He also worked with me to do a consultation, a confirmation of the design, and sessions at a comfortable pace to fully do the design. Blake was easy to talk to and answered all my questions about the tattooing process. He was also quick to respond to questions/concerns to make sure I was confident about the healing process! The amount of detail and care he put into my tattoo was incredible and only made me feel more and more confident about my design. From talking to him about his art and other tattoos he’s done, it’s clear that Blake has an immense amount pride in his work. He’s very talented and I highly recommend Blake!

Me and my son have made are second trip to the shop in Lafayette from indy just to have Blake do our work. The commitment to an hour drive to and from is worth the results. His work is supper clean. On our last visit he drawing a free hand tattoo that was incredible.

Been going to New Breed for over 6 months. Have never had a bad experience. Had this tattoo completed two weeks ago by St Marq. He is not just a tattooist but an artist. Would not allow anyone else but St Marq to tattoo me. He previously did a large tattoo of St Michael for me and I love them both.

Got my septum done just a few hours ago. was insanely affordable compared to some other places and my piercer austin was amazing. super cool and fast. definitely going back later :)update: the healing process has been great and Ive had no complications :)

2 days ago i went and got my ashley piercing done by justin and it was amazing, he walked me through the whole process made sure i liked what he was doing and was just overall great service. i have had no problems with my piercing and no pain, definitely recommend!!

New Breed is the only place I’ll go for my ink. Been tattooed 3 times here and the experience is always A+. They can be busy so be prepared to make an appointment with your artist to discuss your tattoo design and ideas.

I got a spine tattoo down here about a year ago. During the initial consultation the artist said he wasn’t sure how much it would be because of ink and spacing so he was going up put $500 down as the maximum buy “it definitely won’t be that much.” I came back a few days later to get it done. It’s about 11 words straight down my back. No pictures, no shading, no color. The whole appointment took about 45 minutes. He ended up charging me the $500 instead. I was so surprised and asked if he was serious and he said yes. At the time I didn’t realize how big of a rip off that was. Throughout the the year, I’ve asked lots of other artists how much they would’ve charged me for it and nobody has ever said over $250. They took advantage of me being a younger girl with only a few tattoos. Such a shame because I would’ve loved to come back and get more work done but now I tell everyone I talk to about tattoos to never go there. Idk if dude just really needed to make rent that night or what but definitely a huge rip off.

I got my industrial pierced yesterday and when I went in everyone seemed distracted by their phones or games they were playing on their phones. When the guy that actually pierced my ear sat down and was marking the spots on my ear, his hands were so shaky that when he put his hands against my head my head was shaking.The piercers name was Tyler. He seemed to do a good job piercing it but I’ve also never had my industrial pierced before. It seems a little to close to the edge of my skin so if there is a chance it gets infected my piercing will definitely reject. His hands were shaky during the entire process and he had to line up the needle multiple times due to this. The person who went with me noticed that the other piercers hands were also shaking but I’m not sure what their name was. If you are looking to get piercings done, I wouldn’t recommend going here unless you know the person piercing them and they did a good job in the past. Anyone with no previous experience with new breed, I recommend going somewhere else and making sure their hands aren’t shaky.Their piercers did not used to be like this. I’m not sure what has happened since I went a couple years ago but they don’t have good piercers now.

I went there today as a recommendation and I’ve had many piercings done before including both nostrils so I knew what to expect from the piercer. I wanted to get a Medusa piercing and he hardly informed me on what to do for aftercare and i mostly had to ask him the questions myself. I asked him if he was able to do it in one shot and it would be quick and he said yes. Unfortunately it was the complete opposite. The first bad thing I noticed was when he was just marking the location of the piercing. His hands were super shaky and I was worried about it but didn’t say anything because I didn’t want to seem rude. When he went to actually pierce through my lip he struggled and his hands were shaking as he was struggling to get the needle through my lip. He wasn’t able to get the jewelry through the first time and he even attempted a second time and he could not get anything through. He then decided to tell me at the very end that he normally doesn’t do these types of precise piercings that he normally does more traditional ones. He told me he has only done Medusa piercings a couple times and it sounded more like he was making excuses and like he wasn’t very sorry for wasting my time and mangling my mouth. Now I will have to experience everything that comes with a Medusa piercing such as the swelling, the pain, watching what I eat and drink, and the aftercare without actually having the piercing, I just have a whole through my lip. He also informed me that I should come back in a couple weeks after reaching out the the other piercer and that he would reduce the price. Even if the price was reduced I will not be going back. It took a long time for me to build up the courage for this piercing and now I will have to wait even longer (if I do still feel like getting it). Overall I would recommend going somewhere else for a piercing.

Got my belly button re pierced by the “piercer” Tyler. I only had my original piercing out for 6 months so the holes were very much still prominent and you could tell exactly where I had the original piercing. Instead of re piercing my original spot (like we had talked about) he pierced a totally different and new spot leaving me with my original piercing still visible. The new piercing was also very crooked. I reached out to him and he was very unprofessional. I requested a refund because I immediately took out the piercing (not wanting 4 separate holes in my stomach) and I had brought my own jewelry! Upon asking for a refund he immediately stopped replying to me. Definitely do not go to this shop, they clearly do not care about their customers and looking at the reviews it seems like this is a recurring problem.Thinking back on it now he did not even clean my belly button area before the piercing, not a wipe or anything!

Love this place! Impulsively went for a walk-in tattoo and my artist (I think his name was Tim) was super nice and helpful! He immediately drew out different sizes and put prices next to each size so I knew right off the bat how much it would cost! It turned out great, highly recommend.

Words cannot express how disappointing my experience was.The employees at the reception area were very unwelcoming, distracted, and short. That was to be expected, I know that hospitality isnt a focus in places like this and I get it. The real issue came with the piercer, Tyler. It was clear he was nervous and/or unsure about the placement, his hands were shaking something awful, and to top it all off, he made an error while piercing and only offered a meek apology. He left blood on and inside my nose despite taking longer to clean me up. Browsing reviews, I can see that he has made several errors like this with other clients as well.It is wholly irresponsible and downright dangerous for New Breed to endorse a piercer who cant follow simple hygiene rules and be attentive enough to work with precision. If you are considering getting pierced here, please request a different person and if there are no other piercers, PLEASE consider going somewhere else. The last piercing I got from him ended in infection and ultimately rejection. New Breed: Please address this. You cannot in good faith allow someone who is clearly unqualified to continue handling such serious body mods.Sincerely,Luna

Justin gave me my industrial piercing tonight and he was amazing! He kept me informed of all he was doing and was very cool with me. I just walked in and he was able to help me quickly. He set out all the different options of what jewelery he had and even gave me opinions to help me decide. He marked where the piercing would go and let me choose the way I thought looked best. he even kept in mind that I wear glasses sometimes so he could place it in the best comfortable way for me. Although I dont do good with needles at all, he talked me through the process and let me relax as long as I needed. He kept in mind my well being through each pierce and the process as a whole. Would 100% recommend him. He was amazing!

Wanted $250 for 3 small finger tattoos. This was on 1/2 off walk in tattoos day as well. So would have been paying $500 for finger tattoos “originally”. Just go to Sacred Apple. They do a fantastic job and won’t charge you hundreds for tiny tattoos.

This place is pretty great! The vibes are great and everyone is really laid-back. Ive been in for a septum piercing and two tattoos now, and both times for the tattoos in particular the staff was super chill, funny, and did a great job. They staff is willing to work with you and your schedule and even squeezed me in for a tattoo appointment one night. When I had my septum done, the piercer was great about telling me what to expect, aftercare, etc. and was also chill. However he did pierce it wrong and accidentally pierced through the cartilage in my nose. Ouch. Lastly, I personally dont have a huge problem with it, but when I went in multiple employees were vaping on the clock. Its not a huge deal for me personally, but I am sober from things like vaping now and back when I was getting my tattoos done it was a bit of a trigger for me. I dont think I will be getting any more tattoos or piercings (at least soon) but I know I would get it done here if I wanted more.

Erika, I can’t say enough about this lady aka new found 💎 gem. For years I’ve been getting tattooed by multiple people that do tattoos. But she is way above anyone that just tattoos. 100percent artist. Tonight was my first set down with her and wile I watched letterkenny and we talked a bit, I know that I will never be let down and over time I will will truly have my skin back to where I’m completely happy with the work that has been done years ago.Hands down Erika your a great lady and a real artist will skills that are sincerely appreciated

Drove a hour and a half to get there. Waited 2 1/2 hours in the lobby for my scheduled appointment with my artist. Had to leave with nothing done because my artist never showed. Drove another 2 hours back home. Wasn’t worth the time or gas money. And not to mention the money I lost from leaving work early because I thought that a scheduled appointment would start around the time it’s scheduled. Obviously won’t be back. Terrible experience. Was going to be a birthday present for myself but that was ruined.

My brother and I got our ears pierced by Tim here. He was great. The place was clean and professional. Almost 1.5 months in and my piercings are healing well. Id like to one day come back for a tattoo.

My daughter just turned 18 on st Pattys day so what did she want to do??... Get first tattoo so of course I had to get a new tat.Tim was great, patient and very professional! His work was awesome!!

The guy who re-pierced my nose was so great! I think his name was Jason. He was very sociable and made me feel very relaxed and comfortable! He even said when Im ready to change my nose ring I could come back and he would help me... Very happy with my visit 😊

I would first like to start off by saying that I have had my nostril done here when Eli still worked there but has since left. I did not have any problem with my nostril and that experience except for the long wait but that expected as it’s a shop on campus🤷🏼‍♀️.During the $20 piercing deal in December i got 4 ear piercings. When we got there there was not a single employee in the building but doors were unlocked, lights on etc. We decided to wait it out because we didn’t want to come back another day. We sat in the building for almost 3 hours, multiple people coming in to wait as well during that time. When the piercer finally walked in he apologized greatly and said he has been out late the night before. Once I laid down and got them done he told me aftercare and that was that. He rushed the process of getting me in the room and setting up but thankfully slowed down once he started to actually pierce my ear. I thought all was good until a couple days ago. (about 2 months later)One of those piercing i received was a tragus piercing. It fell out and so I went back to have help getting it back in. it fell out before they opened and so i messaged hoping they didn’t could squeeze me in and help before it closed. they said ti call at 12 when they opened. I called three times after 12 and no answer. I also tried to go in but the door was still locked at 12:20 when i left. I ended up going over to Soldier Mike’s where he told me that the piece of jewelry used in my tragus was a nose piercing that was cut. the jewelry was jagged and sharp which is why it was not healing well etc. He explained that it was also stainless steal/ nickel which is very bad for using inside the body! Mike ended up switching the jewelry for a nice titanium piece + the actual correct aftercare and i’ve seen a huge improvement within days! The piercer will tell you to use Dial Gold but that is not correct, using the soap will prevent from any healing on your piercing. Overall story is that it’s unprofessional, rushed, and skip around every corner they can.

BUYER BEWARE!! Go ahead and save your money for the redo if you have a tattoo done here. Tattoo, customer service and overall experience was complete trash. Youve been warned.

Got my first tattoo done there in 2012, it was amazing. 5 stars!!However, I went to get my eyebrow pierced two days ago, done by an apprentice who was obviously under the influence, it took 45 minutes and ended up badly placed. Definitely not worth it, I will not be getting pierced there again.

Daniel was fantastic! I walked in at 9:30 on a Saturday night with a pretty decent sized tattoo in mind and he took it on! He listened to what I wanted and did it! I go back to get it finished in a few weeks after it heals and I can’t wait to see the end product. It already looks great and it’s not finished.

Justin pierced my septum and did a great job ensuring it was done correctly and was very professional. Daniel is one of the best artists in town, and does a great job piercing as well. Highly recommend them both!

They have a special going on. A nose piercing for $20 till the end of Dec 2021. We didnt even get into the building. Walked up & ran into customers that had already been waiting for 3hrs. They also dont do appointments. I guess m only complaint is....If ur gona have a deal going on that is going to pull customers in, thn u shud probably make sure u have the staff on hand to do the job, or at least let ppl set up an appointment. Its a good deal, but no one has the time to wait 3hrs or longer. Great special, but poorly executed. :(

I had a 3:00pm consultation with Ericka, got there at 2:55, they found her about 3:05, she walks out the back door and at 3:15 she was still out there (knowing I was inside waiting) talking it up with a friend. May be a good artist, but very unprofessional work ethic. I would have understood has she been running late from working on another client but this was not the case.

Absolutely LOVE this tattoo shop! My fiance and I went inside and were able to be fit in the same day. I started a neo/American traditional sleeve while my fiance started a space sleeve. Nate did mine and St. MarQ from ink master did my fiances. Great overall atmosphere. And the employees were fantastic, kind and funny. Artwork is superb quality.

I got my septum pierced here years ago only to find out i don’t have a sweet spot in my nose, so i should’ve been denied the piercing. They didn’t tell me and went ahead and pierced through some hard cartilage very close to the tip of my nose. My current piercer was appalled.

My mom and I went in to get our tragus pierced several weeks ago when they had the $20 piercing sale. Austin did a great job! He talked us through it and made sure everything went quickly and easily. I have fainting issues, and when I started to feel a little sick from the adrenaline, he brought me water and a fan and a cold towel! He went out of his way to make sure we had a good experience. So far weve had no issues with our piercings healing. 10/10 recommend

So when I arrived I asked for a Nostril piercing. The guy who pierced it asked for me to fill out a form on the iPad. Which practically stated that he had told me how to properly care for my piercing, things that could happen, products to use. He never went over any of it,I had to fill it out before I got my piercing. So I go back and he marks the area and I agreed it looked like a good location. So I lay back and am adjusting getting ready to get pierced. He does it. Doesn’t say a word besides “Take a deep breath”. I tried to make small talk by asking “how long have you been piercing for?”, he replied with “Two years” in a very snippy short attitude. I then went to check out and I had to ask HIM how to properly care of my new piercing because last time I had my nostril pierced I had gotten a keloid and I eventually took the piercing out. It was the worst customer service I have ever been provided. I was disappointed in the fact he spoke maybe 3 times in the whole 25 minutes I was there. The fact I had to ask him how to care for my piercing and he commented very snippy again “Dial gold antibacterial soap and warm water.” I was kind the whole time. I feel like whenever you get a piercing or tattoo you should be told what to do and what not to do. Just for the fact you can get infections and have several issues if you don’t care for them correctly. I was so excited to go here because I’ve heard so many talk about this place in such a positive way. I was completely disappointed and will never get another piercing or even a tattoo from this place.

Walk ins are welcome and if you have an idea of what you want, theyll be patient and draw something up until youre 100% satisfied. The staff are well diversified with artists specializing in each form of the art. All of my friends and I have had work done here. Daniel and Marq did my tattoos and come highly recommended

St. Marq from Ink Master is my tattoo artist. My old man got his arm tattooed by him last weekend and the man is an artist, no doubt!! Nice guy, too. Im looking forward to getting my arm done tmrw!! Ill add a photo asap. Im stoked!

4 trips to this place trying to get my daughter and my nieces nose pierced (We had to obtaining proper documentation since both children was under age) 4th Trip there with the proper paperwork to get it accomplished, The artist Austin couldnt get his tool box open. So I went to my car and got a tire iron and let him use it to open his tool box. After getting it open things went smooth. I am very pleased with Austins professionalism and choice of music (METAL) I would highly recommend this studio and its employee Austin to anyone I know in search of a piercing or a tattoo.

Going to New Breed was the worst piercing experience I have ever had. The piercing table is not in its own individual room, but right next to the counter. A lady distracted my piercer as he pierced my ear, which led him to not warning me about shoving the needle throw my cartilage. He sterilized the jewelry, but that purpose was defeated when he set it down on the table I was laying on. When he removed a captive bead earring from my ear he caused more pain and irritation than the actual piercings. He pulled the bead out and did not open the gap more to remove it. There were not any qtips in the shop so he allowed blood to pool in my ear and just said to clean it really well when I got home. The piercings were very slowly done because he did not have all of the equipment, just the needle. I know that this was done incorrectly because I have had several piercings done at other shops, as well as doing my own research on proper piercings. Also, as I was getting pierced another employee was told he could pierce someone’s cartilage, but that employee did not seem to know ANYTHING about piercing and had to come ask my piercer at least 5 different questions. I hope that customer had a better experience than I imagined for her. My typical 10 minute piercing experience took 30 because of all of the interruptions and the low qualifications of the staff.

They are very professional and sanitary and I’ve gotten three piercings here and they always have done a fantastic job! They explain what they are doing and talk you through the whole process very calmly. 10/10 recommendation

My daughter got a cartilage piercing that I was very nervous about. Justin took the time to explain his process and care instructions. It was clean, professional, quick, painless, and healed beautifully.

Nobody there when we got there because keys couldnt be located. 40 mins later it was opened. Tattoo artist did a great job however tattoo was very small and charged us each 100.00 when on phone we were told 60.00. There was 4 of us so in a 1/2 hour he made over 400 (tips) for a very tiny tattoo.

I recently moved here and have gone to the same person for 9 tattoos; finding an artist that you can trust and do the style you are looking for is not easy when you know what you want. John worked with me and provided EXACTTLY what I was looking for after my search (4 separate shops /artists) I even told me if he feels he wasnt the bEst fit dont feel obligated to work with me, very professional and would highly recommend, it seems all the artists on staff have strong suits which makes me believe this is an all around good parlor depending on the style you seek.

The staff wasnt overly welcoming or friendly, but it wasnt a terrible experience. The girl at the front desk was very nice, but the artists hardly acknowledged me. The work I received was a tad overpriced, but still decent.

We called ahead to get a tattoo and the person on the phone told us to come around 8 pm. We waited an hour and a half. The tattoo artist says he needs a break and to come back in 30 minutes. We come back 30 minutes later and the tattoo artist has another customer in the chair and says hes too busy to see us tonight AT ALL. We waited over 2 hours and still have yet to get any service. Never coming back and DO NOT RECOMMEND. NEVER COME HERE. IF I COULD LEAVE 0 STARS I WOULD.

So I came in around 5pm. I asked the lady that was behind the counter if they do walk ins and she said yes. and I asked if she had anyone available for two simple single color tattoos for my father and I. she called one of the artist over (unfortunately I cant remember his name) who I spoke with personally and I was told by him that he is free all night. I asked him to give me an hour to get my father to town and we would be ready. We come back in an hour and hes working on what he said was touch-ups for someone else.. an hour after that he says he has to go get more gloves...it is now 2 minutes till 8 p.m. 3 hrs after i first arrived... my father and I have left the building...

I went in to get a my nose pierced on one of the days they had $20 piercings. I waited all afternoon and when It was finally my turn I layed down on the piercing table. After deciding where I wanted it he proceeded after getting the needle through my nose he couldnt get the piercing in. At first I didnt think much of it and just told him to do it again after he said he could just do it in the same spot. The second time hurt worse and he still didnt get the piercing in. He told me he needed 1 more time to get it so I let him assuming he was doing it in the same place. After a days my nose was very red and starting to hurt. I thought I just had a keloid and had heard that was normal. I avoided touching it and thought itd get better with time, but it kept getting worse. After looking at it closer I realized it wasnt a keloid he had pierced it in two different places and it was trying to heal. When I started having trouble I decided to call and I asked if that made since and what I should do and confronted him about piercing it in two different sports he was very casual and said it happens and hed try again if I wanted. I will never go here again. Not only did it take him three times to get it right, I ended up having to take it out for the other hole to heal. I also now have two little Marks on my nose from it. And I wasted my money.

Daniel did a great job! Process was simple and he had me in and out in no time. Made me feel very comfortable, especially it being my first time!

Erickas the bomb!!!!Wow what a wonderful experience....stopped in on Friday gave ideas for my Taz coverup, and my wife and 18 year old sons tribute tats. She set the appointment for next day at 1. We showed up with our other son and she said she could fit him in as well. She went back to create his and we were in the chair by 1:15. It was very clean and we had a great experience!Bonus: She had parks and Rec on....boom!!!!

The shop was clean and the guys were friendly, but my friend and I both experienced blowout on our thin, fine-lined tattoos from David (we both have many other tattoos from other shops and have not experienced this with them). Mine was an arrow and hers a bow. Weve had them for about 2 years now and I am always embarrassed that I have this blotchy awful arrow right on my forearm. Will be getting it covered up soon.

Loooooots of drama. Toxic environment. Some decent tattoos, generic script writing thats used on everyone. But really dumb drama between coworkers. It effected the whole mood. So much for ink therapy there. And I was told after getting my foot piece just to send a message to the girl (Erika)when I was ready for my other foot and I messaged her on Facebook, her phone and I even called and emailed, nothing.

Piercer was very calm and professional with my daughter. Plus the inside is breathtaking! So beautiful inside.

Never in my life have I had a better place to go to get my tattoos done. Worth everything and very good people. If anyone needs work done I do recommend New Breed Tattoo.

Should show up before they open as the place is super popular, but both times we went, the piercer was late both times and had to wait even longer for a different one to show up, otherwise the place is great

Dont know who the guy was didnt get his name but he was arrogant. Rude, questioned my id. Didnt let my daughter pick out her nose ring. Didnt let her pick where she wanted it. The first time I have ever been to this place and last.

Just because something is cheap does not mean that it is good or a good deal. Please do not go here simply because they offer half off . I am not bad mouthing anyones business, I just suggest to look around at all your options before. I personally have been here for service, have been unsatisfied ; will not state a name, will simply say thanks but I now know better

Got three piercings during their $20 piercing deal; had to be on their waitlist for several hours but general process of piercing was quick and easy.

I got my 2nd ear lobe piercing,Austin did it and the piercings are just not even.one is way further back on my ear than the other. It was painless and bad quality also pricey.

They did a great job and the touch up looks even better.

Great work decent people I would definitely recommend not to mention yeah they may be a little bit pricey but you get free touch ups for forever

Friend went to get his and his wife a tattoo here and Saint Mark took $4000 and did not finish the tattoo. Dont trust Saint Mark, he is a thief.

Went in asking for a touch up on a bad tattoo and they made it completely worse and I am very unsatisfied. Will not be going back.

Work etiquette is garbage, Ive been trying to atleast set an appointment with kokomo andwest lafeyette New breed and neither has responded. Ohh well Im sure someone has time for me.

I stepped in the store with absolutely no idea of what I wanted and Daniel quickly sketched and designed what turned out to be my very first tattoo!

The tattoo artist was doing color on my daughters tattoo that was Jack and Sally. He has done a awesome job with the colors it looks so neat.

Mo was our artist. She did an AMAZING job!!! TOTALLY recommend her and the establishment!!!

Vast knowledge and great customer service. Willing to work with and educate first timers. Very sanitary and professional. Will continue to use this place and only this place after previous experiences elsewhere.

The piercer was great, however my teenage son had to stay in the car due to a strong smell of marijuana in the building.

John is a fantastic tattoo artist. I had a ferocious tiger tattoo on chest he drew by hand. He should be on Inkmaster!

Over priced 600$ for a medium tattoo 300 for a little smaller and doesnt want to do small tattoos thinking way to highly about themselves

Got my tongue pierced here and it looks fantastic. love it here, but the music is little loud and inappropriate for a 16 year old girl.
