Revolution Tattoo & Body Modification

I got my first tattoo done by Chase. It is so perfect! The process was quick and easy and he made me feel very comfortable and welcome, despite it being my very first one. He talked me through step by step of aftercare and was incredibly helpful with all of my questions. I have also gotten my nose pierced at Revolution and that as well was a great experience. Love the work they do here!

This was my first tattoo and most likely my last. Let’s say I’m over 50. lol. My co-workers and I wanted the same tattoo. I didn’t know how to start the process so I asked around and got some names. I called one, left a message and no call back. Called Revolution and Chase answered. I went in and talked to him in person and he booked us so we could come in and have it done together. So accommodating. Chase was awesome. We all laughed so hard. He has a great personality and was very patient with “3” women!! I highly recommend booking your next tattoo at Revolution Tattoo and ask for Chase.

Just had my daughters ears pierced by Pirate. He was amazing! He did great with her and the piercings look phenomenal. The whole experience was highly enjoyable. He was thorough and and explained after care perfectly! Highly recommend!

My sister in law and I walked in for some matching tattoos and Ryan was very accommodating with us. He did an awesome job on them. Personable and professional.

Super friendly outlaw American traditional. What more could you ask for? Chad is great, let him do him and you’ll have a kickass tattoo. Chase is a newerartist and I’ve gotten 2 little pieces and I love them. Haven’t worked with Ryan yet but seems like a cool guy and his work is solid.

This is a great shop. Ive had multiple tattoos done here and Im always beyond satisfied with their professionalism and work. My mom was getting a tattoo done by by Chase yesterday and the power went out after a car hit a utility pole. Literally did not stop this man, because he had a backup power source for his equipment. Highly recommend!

Pirate is who you want to do your piercings! Has some several of mine and my friends and each one has been nothing but smooth sailing. Great bedside manner and follow-up even on tougher piercings. Ask about the biohacking implants!

I have gotten both a septum and nostril piercing from Pirate now, and he was great! He is clearly skilled and is kind when it comes to first-time piercings. Both piercings were quick. Both healed great.

Personally I have had over a dozen appointments at this shop with 3 different artist. (Obviously separate pieces). Each time has been nothing but positive experiences. Scheduling with each artist is simple via email or their individual social media pages. For the work being done their pricing is fantastic. On top of tattoos. I’ve had my nose, dermal and multiple ear piercings done through this shop. Each have healed and lasted with no issues.

Took my daughter to get her lobes pierced for her birthday. Pirate was very professional and made sure he walked her through every step. I would definitely recommend!

I got a shoulder piece done by Chad and am absolutely obsessed with it. The line work is perfectly clean and you cant even tell where the original tattoo is. He was easy to talk to the entire time and for this being my largest tattoo, the time went quickly! Will definitely be using him for all my other tattoos!

I got a flat helix piercing from Revolution about 2 months ago and I am really impressed. My piercing I got there has healed better than any other Ive had (I have eight). My piercer was Pirate (I think hes the only piercer there) and he was very nice, laid back, open to my questions about anything. He didnt hesitate to tell me everything he was doing regarding sterilization, prepping the needle, etc. He angled it perfectly so it never gets caught in my hair, and gave me healing instructions that worked perfectly for me. I plan on going back soon for another piercing and highly recommend others to go here.

Piercing room looks very unclean but tattoo room was fine. Tats were even better! I could have used a bit more friendly people working there tho. They are nice, but none of them seemed like they wanted to engage in a conversation, which is important for customer service if Im sitting there for two hours getting a piece done ya know. Otherwise, Id recommend it to anyone!

Got a septum piercing here. It was a quick job, but the piercer did take his time with finding my sweet spot, which Im very appreciative for. For the most part, the staff was pretty friendly. Its a cool place, and Id definitely recommend it to a friend.

My stepmom and I got matching tattoos, and Ryan did amazing. We are both very happy with our new tattoos, and the customer service was great. The shop was clean and had taken clear precautionary measures for COVID. I would definitely go there for another tattoo.

I’ve also had my lip, neck, and nose pierced by Pirate who also provides a clean area and professional area. Highly recommend this shop!

This shop, and every artist who works there, is absolutely incredible! No matter who your artist is, youre walking out with a rad piece. Professional, talented, and just overall good people. The only negative thing I have to say about the shop is that its too far away to get work done because I live in South Carolina now. Miss you dudes!

Pirate did lobe piercings and a cartilage piercing for my friend and I. Super easy and quick and the piercings turned out great! Reasonable pricing, I definitely recommend.

It was my first experience going into the studio and I was taking my son who is still a minor. I was super impressed with Chad who took the time to explain to my son everything he needed to know to make the right decision. Im very happy to say we will be using Chad and the revolution tattoo and body studio in the very near future.

Pirate did a really simple tragus piercing for me and he was not only super polite but he was really professional and quick. [it did cost fifty dollars] I dont think even piercing my earlobes was that easy. He was really nice and answered all my questions (not a ton but still.) I saw a few reviews that said the staff was dismissive or not super friendly but anyone I interacted with was really nice. 10/10 would go again. Will go again.

My wife and I have been going to revolution for around 3 years now. I have been tattooed by Ryan and chad, their professionalism is top notch. Chad has been doing my sleeve that is a giant cover up for the last year, I don’t believe a lesser artist would’ve been able to cover the garbage I had and turn it into something as awesome as chad has. Scheduling is easy, just email them, their emails are on the Facebook page so please for the love of god stop calling repeatedly trying to make appointments, it makes the artist have to stop tattooing their client to answer the phone.

This place is the only place I will get tattoos from, from here on out. I love how Chad will talk you though the process and tell you whats going to work and what isnt. His artwork is far above and beyond anything offered in this town. He specializes in American traditional but can do whatever you want and is a well rounded tattoo artist. Your missing out if you dont go to this shop.

Stopped by as a walk-in to get our wedding bands - Ryan did an awesome job taking my husbands (admittedly unrealistic for a finger tat) LOTR ring idea and designing something that looks awesome and is a better fit for the space. This was my second tattoo from Ryan, and I couldnt be more pleased - incredibly clean lines. Looking forward to heading back to add on to my band as the years go by.The vibe in the shop is comfortable and laid-back. Just a great group of very talented folks! I highly recommend you pay them a visit.TLDR; friendly and very knowledgeable artists, clean shop, best place in town.

I got my nostril pierced recently and a few days later it started getting very irritated. I went to Lucky Rabbit where they told me the jewelry was not the highest quality. I had to get a new ring due to the jewelry not being spacecious enough for swelling and they also told me it was pierced at an angle that made the gem dig into my piercing hole. I don’t 100% recommend getting a piercing here. Staff was relatively friendly, however I will not be coming back. I recommend Lucky Rabbit!!

I got both my lobes done here and a helix as well. 3 months later Ive found out my so called helix was actually pierced completely incorrectly- so deep it is actually a flat- and the ring put on it (already questionable to get pierced with a ring) was far too small. It had caused me problems since the first day and its really unfortunate because Pirate was very clean, professional, and answered all of my questions.Im hoping a refund is possible for the helix, but it is a service so who knows.

I got a tattoo from Revolution about 3 weeks ago and I cannot be more happy. I got a tattoo on my thigh in honor of my late father and the artist who helped me design my tattoo, CJ, was more than willing to help with any questions or inquiries I had. Overall, the guys in there are pretty chill and nice. This is the place to go if you need a tattoo in West Lafayette.

The young man named Pirate performed my piercings for me. I had both of my daiths in my ear pierced. He made sure I was comfortable, answered all of my questions and made sure I was at ease at all times. I highly recommend asking for him and will recommend him to anyone who asks. THANK YOU

I tried to talk to a tattoo artist about seeing more of his work before booking an appointment and he just replied to me with “😂”. If he didn’t want to show me his portfolio, I understand. However, he didn’t have to be so rude and unprofessional about it. He seemed more concerned about directing me where to pay before answering my questions. I’ll definitely be taking my business elsewhere.

Went in on a Sunday for a small tattoo. Two stars because he able to squeeze us in since my tattoo would only take a few minutes.The tattoo is so bad. There are obvious starting points that look rounder than the rest of the tattoo. The lines are wobbly and not the same width. One corner is even significantly darker and thicker than the rest. This tattoo looks like I have had it for years even though it has only been a few weeks. I would not recommend this tattoo parlor.

I would NOT recommend this shop to anyone getting a piercing! The staff was not friendly and only spoke a total of maybe 10 words to me the entire time I was in there. He did not explain what he was doing as he worked so I basically sat there for 10 minutes wondering what was happening to my ear. I got a triple helix done and the piercings are uneven. Additionally, the jewelry he used was not big enough to allow room for swelling which caused a lot of problems.

Theyre friendly, but not the best. Its an old building so a some dirt is expected, but they also had duct tape on their table/bed thing and I got a lot of misinformation about my daith. My friend was misinformed about her tragus, too. If you know what youre doing Id say this is fine to do but if youre new to piercings, Id recommend going elsewhere.

Chad is the man! Does a fantastic job. Highly recommend him for all of your tattoo needs! The shop is always clean, prices are great, and the tattoo process is smooth. 👍🏼

Chad Leever tattooed the sides of my neck and the front of my throat.I got the outline done by him 2 days ago, which already looks killer and people already thought it was done.I have quite a few tattoos and was extremely nervous about my neck. If you want an artist who is alert to what you want and super friendly, go see Chad @ Revolution! Newer to Lafayette, I have been looking for an artist. After several tattoos, I had my first nausea moment while getting tattooed with Chad. Instead of being made fun of or hassled like I know some artists have done, Chad was such a gentleman and got me a soda and let me rest before continuing the tattoo! My tattoo turned out EXACTLY how I envisioned it. I highly recommend you going here and ask for Chad!

Ive had five tattoos done by Chad L., all brilliantly awesome and well worth the money. The entire staff has always answered my questions as a customer and always made me feel welcome. This is the place to go

We walked in go get a tatto here. We did feel welcomed but also felt a little bit like we were a bother at the same time. But all in all it was a good experience.

The staff members are rude and antisocial to the customers. Theyre extremely unprofessional. Pirate does not know what hes doing. He pierced my tongue while I was there and he didnt even mark it. My tongue ring was completely crooked and I had to take it out after only having it for 3 days. I dont recommend it.

They were running a really great special of piercings for $25. A friend and I booked an appointment and when we got there no one answered the door. We wait for a half hour, called and facebook messaged and no one ever opened the doors. Super disappointing.

This place is amazing the atmosphere was amazing and the piercing took maybe 15 minutes including the paperwork and everything I was very anxious about this because it was my first face piercing but it was amazing if you are looking to get a piercing go here 100/10

Ive been here a few times a tattoo in 2010 a piercing in 2019ish and then most recently another piercing 😁 great experience everytime.

Two piercings I got had to be removed, one surgically because of infection! I had them redone later by Dee at Sacred Apple & they are doing great!! Staff here is not friendly! Wont ever return or recommend!!

Love this place! I have gotten two piercings, both at reasonable prices, and they go through how to take care of the new piercings with emphasis on if anything is wrong to give them a call.

I called the other day to set up an appointment with the piercer and i called again a couple days later and whomever answered the phone was really rude. He told me i couldn’t set up an appointment Over the phone and that I needed to go to their Facebook page when that’s not how the process was the first time. I called back to ask another question and the guy told me not to call back. Not sure why he was so rude but it was disrespectful for absolutely no reason.
