I went in there today to get a conch and navel piercing, and I’m definitely pleased with how everything turned out!! I had to wait a little bit for my turn, but that’s totally okay and plus he was the only one working at the time. The Covid guidelines are a little out dated in my opinion, but that’s okay and I respect the company and their rules. Larry was very kind and professional and he obviously takes his job really seriously, as well as after care for a new piercing. As someone who works in customer service, please remember to be polite and respectful when walking in!!!

I got my septum and tragus done by Larry. I had a wonderful experience overall. When I had a question after I got home, he called me back right away and gave me advice. (which was 100% correct too) Amanda was amazing too. I recommend this shop and Im definitely going back for more very soon.

It has been a few years since Ive gotten work done, but I will say that everything that I or friends of mine have gotten done has been top of the top-notch work. Clean, professional, and fast-- with fair prices. I have referred so many people here because of it. Ive spent a lot of time in tattoo and piercing shops, and I still say that this is the one of recommend over any of the others!

Came in today to get a nose piercing at Body of Xpression. Super nice, informative staff. Got me right in with NO WAIT. Very clean, sanitary studio. Practices COVID guidelines. Walk-in only no appointments. Helped me pick jewelry. Felt super comfortable. Will come here for all my piercing needs!!

Just wanted to update, this is about 3/4 months later after my original feedback,and my piercings have healed beautifully and wanted to share an updated photo ! Will definitely be back soon for more xoSo sterile and clean! Larry and Amanda were so incredibly kind, I got snake bites and they’re perfectly even and I feel very confident they’ll heal perfectly considering the measures they take to ensure a clean sterile safe environment ! If you want a professional piercer this is the place to go!!!! Larry did amazing and I’m very impressed and satisfied.

Got my septum done this past Saturday. Larry is super professional, straight forward, and knows his stuff. And the assistant piercer, Amanda, was very professional while also being funny and personable. It was quick, as painless as getting a piercing can be, and I left feeling well informed on aftercare. The place was super clean and their attention to hygiene and such was top notch. 10/10 would get my skin punctured here again.

I got my septum pierced yesterday toward the end of the day. I was very pleased with the service and the cleanliness of the shop. Realistically, the prices should be so much higher for what you are getting. I have been to a few other piercing shops, and this experience has been the most satisfactory. The other shops I have been to charged so much more for such a poor experience. Larry was very thorough and made sure that I understood everything before getting the piercing. Despite having odd anatomy for the piercing he gave me, he did a wonderful job and I couldnt be happier with the piercing. Larry was exceptional, and the shop had such a great atmosphere with the artwork and music, while being super clean. Larry outdid himself and I would highly recommend his shop and his service for getting a piercing. I felt very safe and I felt extremely comfortable in his care.

Got my fourth lobe piercing (on both sides) done and my conch piercing. As a daughter of a doctor I was very impressed with the sanitary measures and the covid protection measures of the establishment. The owner is very nice and efficient. I was in and out in a jiffy! (But not so quick as to feel rushed or to hamper proper procedures.) Definitely recommend! Got my nose and third lobe piercings done here as well years ago. Those were the quickest healed piercings Ive had with zero complications. (Keeping in mind everyones body reacts differently to trauma, even from piercing to piercing, and aftercare is a serious responsibility on the shoulders of the person getting pierced. Not the piercing establishment.) Just thought Id throw that last bit in there.

Just had piercings done by Larry, with Amanda assisting, and can’t recommend them highly enough. A few years ago I came to Larry to get my second lobes done, which went totally fine. Good service, they healed well, etc. etc.However, a few months ago I came back here to get my navel pierced. When Larry marked the entry and exit holes, they were slightly crooked. I pointed this out to him and he remarked them. The new marks looked fine to me, but I noticed that neither of them actually went through my navel. He had marked both entry and exit above my navel. I pointed this out to him as well, but he denied my concern and told me the way he marked it was correct. At some point he joked about having ‘good eye days and bad eye days’ lol. He pierced me quickly and painlessly, giving me a surface piercing above my navel, not a navel piercing. Because of this, the piercing started to migrate forward in the following weeks, causing pain, itchiness, and a bad infection. I eventually had to get the piercing removed by another piercer, who told me I wouldnt be able to get it re-pierced for another 3-5 months.I was disappointed with this experience, but I do not think that Larry is a bad piercer, which is why I’m still giving him 5 stars. However, this individual experience was not great, so I feel it’s still important to share. I would recommend this shop for it’s jewelry selection and prices.

I got my nose and second ear piercing this past Saturday and I couldn’t have had a better experience. Larry made sure that the process was thorough and easy. Everything was very clean and well ran. He explained every step of the piercing process and after care. If you want to get a piercing- I would highly recommend that you come here!!

My piercing experience at Body of Xpression was great! Larry saw to me and my friend in a prompt, respectful, and helpful manner. He is clearly very knowledgeable about piercing, and the prices are very reasonable. I got 4 helix piercings, which is the maximum amount of piercings that he will do in one session. I would totally recommend Body of Xpression and Larry to anyone interested in getting pierced.

The piecer, Larry, is an absolute germaphobe. Either he is nuts or has taken a microbiology course and knows that staph that collects on surfaces and thrives on people.Either way you will be wearing a mask, not allowed to touch ANYTHING, but also have an experience that will leave you confident you will not be receiving an infection from this studio.While the set up is slow (due to cleaning and sterilization), I was in and out in under an hour for 4 ear piercings. A group of 5 girls came in after me and I know that would take hours for them alone.I wish Larry had offered appointments but I am not a business owner and cannot judge for the reasoning.

Larry is a Pro. Wear your mask and respect his very clean shop and environment. Great prices. Good selection of earrings etc. I have been back twice and am planning my third visit. Highly recommend. Safe.

I came in and got my rook re-pierced. It hurt less than the first time I got it (did not get it pierced here the first time). Larry was super professional. Super cleanly and hygienic. Definitely recommend.

When I go to another piercing shop, a bunch a piercers should not be crowding around the work that you did because they are in shock about how poor the placement of the piercing I got was. Yet that’s what happened. I got my second set of lobes done some time ago at this shop, but I knew nothing of proper placement and gave the go ahead on the placements based on the dots on my ears. One side is completely fine and is in line with my first lobe piercing. The other side is placed so low that I was asked if I went to a professional. The shop is clean and everything healed fine, but screwing up a placement on a lobe piercing and to the point where it’s dangerous to wear jewelry in fear of it ripping out from the bottom is not acceptable. I’m going to be paying between $40-60 to fix this mistake minimum. As I said, the shop is very professional in regards to paperwork, walking you through the process, and cleanliness; but I can’t recommend this place when the placement is jacked. This was some time ago, and maybe this has improved or was just a fluke, but this was my experience over a year down the line with a fully healed piercing that has to be re-done.

I went and got my left nostril done at the beginning of January and even though my right side was very low and messed up from a different shop Larry tried his best to make it as even as possible while also being done correctly. Me and my mom both loved how professional and clean the shop was. I was recommended by a friend and will definitely be coming back here for the rest of my piercings!

After asking questions on Messenger with Larry with very honest and direct answers I stopped in and got my Right Nostril pierced. His shop was very clean and sterile with a very relaxing atmosphere with great music. Larry’s professionalism was outstanding. He covers everything you need to know and is not pushy just to make a sale, it all comes down to your own personal choice. I will definitely be returning to him for my next piercing!!!!

Got my eyebrow done by Larry a year or so ago. He did it very well. It migrated and never healed properly but it was my fault due to improper care, but I’m considering getting it repierced again so I can do it right this time. If I do, I’m definitely going back here.

Had a walk-in visit at Utopia, upon reaching there, they told me piercer will not be in ‘today’. I asked if there was anyone else who does body piercing, they referred me to Body Expression. Phew! No regret! I called, Larry answered and told me he’ll be there until 6PM. My nose had been without a ring for 7 years. I guessed it wanted tapering, Larry got the job done, don’t ask me how 🤷‍♀️. His place is sanitized and well kept. His tools are clean and sanitized as well. You feel at peace there. It’s open from 12Noon-6PM. I paid $20.95, inclusive of a ring with ball for getting my nose back in business. 😄 Big up Larry.

Went to get a nose piercing yesterday with my husband and Larry’s shop is clean, organized, and he did a wonderful job accommodating me and two other customers as he was the only person working. A word to everyone during these trying times…be kind to small business owners. This is his livelihood and the health protocols are necessary during these times to protect not only himself and his business, but the customer’s as well. I’d rather be patient and have someone do a thorough job with something as delicate as a piercing than to have regrets afterwards. Thanks Larry, may business continue to thrive!

Larry did mine and my best friends tongue piercings around my 18th birthday, and when I (now 31) decided to get my septum done I found when asking around for recommendations he was still the top choice in Winchester.Extremely meticulous about hygiene and obviously takes his craft seriously. Good price for good quality. Will definitely be back. Please be patient when walking in! The man is busy and hes worth it!

The shop was super clean and Larry was incredibly friendly and helpful. If youre like me and you get a little nervous for things like piercings, I would highly recommend this shop. Id just like to address that and say that review is totally wrong. I did not feel uncomfortable in the shop at all. This was my first time getting a piercing from a professional rather than a piercing gun. It was definitely worth the cost and I researched so I know his prices are competitive and even a bit cheaper than other piercing shops in the surrounding area (at least for a nose piercing, which is what I got). Overall, Im very happy with the service and I would definitely recommend this place to others.

Larry, the owner, was super friendly and professional. He walked me through every step of the piercing and made sure that I was okay throughout the process. Everything was super sanitary. They are doing under the mask services but you have to show proof of vaccination, they take your temperature, and they sanitize everything. Its super clean in there. Would recommend!!

I had my left nostril pierced to match my right nostril, Larry did amazing, and was very attentive, sanitary, and light handed. I definitely was comfortable and will come back for any jewelry, or piercings in the future!

Ive gotten three piercings done here and I wouldnt go anywhere else! The store is so clean and Larry takes care to sterilize everything before and after each customer. Hes a very talented piercer and is always so nice. I cant recommend this place highly enough!

Just got done visiting Larry, and I had a great experience. I got my eyebrow pierced and my mother got her nostril pierced. Larry was a great guy and obviously knew what he was doing. Everything was clean, sanatized, and professional. We looked over his selection of jewelry and hes got something for everyone there. I did show up with my friend during a rush so we did have a wait but Larry was very nice, polite and professional. i got my industrial done and my friend got his eyebrow done and both were very quick after we got to our turns. i did go wanting my tongue done but **currently** due to covid they are not doing that piercing just so anyone that actually looks at this review knows. not sure if they plan on providing that piercing in the future as i did not ask. overall recommend this place 10/10

Got my septum & eyebrow pierced here last year & ended up having to take them out, so they healed up. came back & got them redone a couple months ago & both times were great! larry is very professional & clean, i felt very comfortable with him! definitely coming back :)

Went for 2 facial piercings and was never more comfortable. They walk you thru every step! Place is clean, great music plays and Larry is very patient to answer not only customers questions but his apprentices as well. Definitely will be going back for more work!

Larry was wonderful! The waiting room was full, but he was calm, professional and efficient with all the customers. He took the time to address my concerns (a questionable nickel allergy), make recommendations and get my approval before starting. Everything was properly cleaned between each customer and the instruments were from sterilized peel packs (same as I see from the hospitals OR). Larry and my husband chatted about rock concerts, which calmed my nerves. I chose this shop based on the good reviews and I am very pleased! I HIGHLY recommend this shop and Larry! Larry, the owner, was very professional and polite. He runs a very clean and organized shop. He does all of the prep, paperwork, and piecing himself, so there may be a wait, but it will be worth it. I highly recommend him!

Got my septum done by Larry last night and he was very professional, thorough, and informative about healing/cleaning the piercing. Everything was sterilized well and the process was quick and virtually painless. I will definitely be returning when I get a bigger piece.

The owner not only messed up my piercing but he also was beyond rude. I arrived and felt rushed the whole time and the owner was nothing but rude to me. He rushed every step of the process and did not show me the size of the jewelry he was putting in until after it was already in my body. I should of known to leave when he made me pay before my piercing and after the deed was done. When I complained about the the massive size of the jewelry he had nothing to say. I refuse to come back here and I suggest you do the same. I had to go to another shop and get it removed because of how poorly it was done.

I went a few days ago and got my septum pierced. The man was clean and he washed his hands and he had sterile equipment. BUT he didn’t use a clamp, AND MY PIERCING IS COMPLETELY CROOKED. it was extremely painful because he had to use his finger to guide where the needle went, but it is completely crooked. I wouldn’t mind if it was off a little bit but you can definitely tell. In his shop, it says absolutely no refunds no exception. If you can’t even do a piercing correctly why make somebody pay the outrageous price and then you mess it up only to know that you cannot get a refund for a poor job. The prices for these piercings are outrageous. I wouldn’t complain so much if he did an excellent job but considering the fact that he messed it up. The man was very rude and had unnecessary comments. I definitely don’t recommend this place.

Very clean, friendly and professional. I was a bit nervous for my nose piercing but Larry was very reassuring and super quick. He also has a really good selection of jewelry.

I was a repeat customer to this shop. Today would have been my 4th visit for piercings 7 and 8 with Larry. I arrived about an hour before the shop closed and both piercers were busy. After about 20 minutes of waiting, Larry comes out of his room and rudely asks us why we are there so close to closing. I understand that its inconvenient to pierce so close to closing because of the cleanup and sterilizing that needs to be done afterward but Body of Xpression has a surcharge if a piercing is done in the last 30 minutes - which I would have been forced to pay because they were otherwise occupied - so I fail to see why he gave us so much attitude. They permanently lost my business today.

Ive been here twice for a piercing, my first time was an industrial and second was a nostril piercing. The staff is knowledgeable and I definitely trust them to handle business in a sterile manner. Neither piercer was particularly friendly, but they did their job. My industrial went smoothly with no complaints. However, they had an apprentice do my nostril piercing (without mentioning she was training or asking if i was comfortable with her doing it!) so when she messed up it was startling but someone did step in to correct it. I also overheard snarky comments between the employees about the piercing I requested which was unprofessional but I suppose not unexpected from a piercing shop. Overall, their work is good but if you want people who are friendly and will help make the process less intimidating, id look elsewhere.

Larry was kind and professional. He walked me through the whole piercing. His after care instructions for helpful and easy to understand. 100% recommend and will be returning.

I took my teenage daughter to get her ear double pierced. Very welcoming. Very informative. I was grateful that their facility was very clean bc if it had not been, she was not getting her ear pierced. Love the artwork. There is a lot of talent at Xpressions. The atmosphere is sketchy, I was completely uncomfortable. My daughter wanted her belly button done, however her tummy went over her jeans a bit and he wouldn’t do it. Plus I needed birth certificate, ID for her, my marriage certificate and proof of residence of us both before either of us could be pierced. I actually went to another place and they stated within the last few weeks others have complained about the same issues with this place of business..

Place is very clean and staff take the sterility of their instruments very seriously. Staff is also very friendly and helpful and answer all questions.

Hands down the best piercing artist in the tri-state. Very clean, kind and professional. He has done all of my cartilage piercings and they have all been perfect. 10/10 Highly recommend!

I got a cartilage piercing, It looks pretty good except it is screwed on so tight I cannot get it off, it hurts but Ill be going back to get it removed tomorrow. My mom thought Larry was rude because he told her to take her feet off the couch.. I thought it was funny until he said it to me... Larry seems like a very professional and old school guy, I would recommend.

I’ve been to Body of Xpression three times now and all were a fantastic experience. The environment is extremely clean and sanitary, and the tools are handled with great care and attention to detail. The staff is kind, friendly, and does an amazing job. They are attentive and will answer any and all questions you may have.

I had had a bad piercing experience in the past and was a little nervous about redoing it but I wanted to redo it because I lost it and was getting migraines again. When I walked in the entire experience was different from the other one. Larry was awesome! Next time I have a chance I want to get my other eat don. Last time I couldnt sleep on my ear for at least 3 months or longer I slept on my ear the same night its not sore. He went over the care and made sure that I understood everything. Everything was opened in front of me as he pierced my ear. I cant thank you enough totally amazed at the difference between the two places.

It’s making me post under my boyfriends name but I definitely recommend Body of Xpression. I got my naval pierced here a long time ago and I remember that being a great experience. Today I got my nose re-pierced and it was another great experience. It was very very busy today, with a new client coming in approximately every 5 minutes and just the owner was working. I can only imagine how much stress was running through his head but he never showed it and was still completely professional and thorough with every single customer. I have really bad anxiety and he never once made me feel like I wanted to dip out. Thank you for the great experience 🥰🥰🥰

Larry always strikes me as a no-nonsense, experienced professional, which is exactly what I want in a piercer. Shop is comfy if theres a wait, piercing rooms are cleaner than a doctors office.

I like this place, really. The staff is super helpful even when you end up not being a paying customer. The only criticism I have is they are a bit too strict on the underage piercing requirements, but they communicate it clearly on their website, so its wise to research first.

Sarah did my nose today. Super happy with it. Super clean shop, watched her open all new packaging and she explained everything before she did it (i was nervous so that made me feel better)

The store was clean. The lady who did my ear piercing was very nice and informative. I had no issues and would recommend this place to anyone looking to get a piercing done.

They do fantastic work although they arent very personable. At least not the type of personable that I like lol. Very informative with a lot of knowledge. Has grown in popularity quite a bit over the years. Good selection of jewelery.

Went with 2 of my friends on a Sunday afternoon and we all got piercings. Sarah was the piercer and she was friendly and professional. If I ever decide to get another piercing I would return here in a heartbeat.

When reading the comments I was scared about what about how the people were but they were extremely nice and informed me about how the piercing I originally wanted wasn’t going to go well bc of the shape of my ear. So I got another kind and they did a wonderful job. Thank you so much
