Rich was incredibly responsive and very self sufficient with the planning and creative aspects, and the design he came up with was great and worked with my back. His studio is beautiful and is a great, clean and fun place to be. The piece turned out amazing and his shading with the black and Grey color scheme was very impressive! I cannot recommend him enough and definitely plan on returning.

Rich is such a lovely, welcoming, kind-hearted individual, his private studio reflects that and more. After multiple tattoos by him, the experience is always remarkable. From upon entering, to reviewing the design, to the gentle needlework, to the astounding finished product, the experience culminates a sense of welcome satisfaction and all that you could want from an artist and studio.

My tattoo came out spectacularly, better than I could have ever imagined!!! The detail and precision is incredible. Rich did an amazing job and was very professional and accommodating throughout the tattooing process. The space is comfortable and welcoming, and I hope to return sometime in the future for another piece!

Rich is a very nice and genuine individual. He is professional and VERY talented in his work/art. I loved the finished piece of our first session(today), I came in with high expectations and left VERY satisfied…(will definitely be coming back in the near future for more tattoos!) At my first session Rich was ready with drawings that demonstrated his totally understanding of the vibe I was looking for. His business suite is in the historic Woolen Mill which sits along the Winooski River in Winooski, VT. Classical music sets the mood when you enter and meet Rich, a soft-spoken, gentle individual who is a gifted listener first and foremost. Its that skill of listening that made this such a positive experience. He took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for. Any changes from what was in my mind were absolutely positive and reflected both his artistry and command of knowing what would look best on my body.Never rushed, we went after a large tattoo for my first that started behind my left shoulder and extended down past my elbow. After the design process and several checkins to be sure this was what I wanted he began the work. Rich is a pro, very gentle and really precise with his preferred style - fine lines. I couldnt be happier with the piece!Hes a one-man show who will absolutely not rush the process! If you need something right now you might not be able to get that with him unless he has a rare, immediate opening. But, Ill assure you, be patient and be detailed on your description to him and youll be rewarded with a work that youll love for a lifetime!

The studio has a calming feel when you walk in, including the low volume music playing. It is beautifully decorated with his work and the space is very clean. Rich was very patient with my questions and slight change request. I felt he took his time with the work asking often if I was comfortable and tolerating the process. I was so happy with the whole experience and my tattoo is gorgeous. I highly reccomend him as not only does he have a wonderful personality, he is a true artist.

I went to get a tattoo from Rich this weekend and am so happy I chose him! His work is phenomenal and so detailed. It came out better than I ever could have imagined. Richard made the process easy. I provided him with some images of roughly what I had in mind and the sketch he drew was beautiful. His studio is very inviting and he gives you the personal attention that you won’t get in a typical tattoo shop. I would highly recommend him.

Clearly Rich is talented... his work speaks for itself. But the experience was also fantastic! He was very professional and easy to talk to. And the tattoo came out even better than I had imagined. Ill never go anywhere else now 🖤

I got my first ever tattoo from Star and I have to say I was very impressed! She walked me through the whole process and made sure I was completely satisfied with what we came up with before she even started. The shop is very clean, comfortable and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable about their craft. Will be going again soon for my next tattoo!

I have received three tattoos from Rich and each experience was perfect! My first tattoo was about a year ago and it has healed beautifully. Rich is capable of such delicate, detailed work, I plan on coming back to him in the future for more tattoos. He is incredibly kind and patient as well, very professional, and prices fairly. I have received tattoos from other artists as well and Rich stands apart in his design and artistic ability and his professionalism. I am also always impressed with how gentle he is during the tattoo process! I could not recommend him more for beginner and veteran tattoo enthusiasts alike! Thank you for everything Rich!

I had an awesome experience getting my first tattoo, a red cardinal on my left inner bicep, at Orichinal Art! Rich made me feel really comfortable and safe, and I felt very little pain. He worked on different options for me beforehand and was happy to make any adjustments. I love my tattoo and have gotten great reviews from my friends! Rich is super chill... Everyone in the city turned my wife and I down for a walk in appointment but he wasnt even phased by our request. He worked with us on a spur of the moment decision to get matching 1 year anniversary tattoos on our ring fingers and was super accommodating during the whole process. Hes easy going and flexible not to mention an excellent artist!

Rich is the greatest of all time. His thoughtfulness, patience, and extraordinary technical skill made for the most enjoyable, highest quality tattoo experience I’ve ever had. He was thoroughly professional and ensured that my tattoo result was precisely what I was looking for. Generous with his time and attention, Rich will definitely be my go-to for my next tattoo. (I also really appreciated the quality of his bandaids, next level stuff)

I dont even know where to start. I dont think that I could think of the right words to express the talent that Rich has. He has done 4 tattoos for me since October and as long as he is doing tattoos he will be the only one to ever put a tattoo on me again. He is professional. His shop is small and personal and clean. He is personable and his work just speaks for itself. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone.

Okay. Wow. Hands down best experience getting tattooed yet. Exceeded my expectations completely. Comfortable, engaging, accommodating, awesome studio and ridiculous realism. This piece locks in more than just the ink, it portrays the whole experience and Rich’s skill was mind numbing. If you haven’t gotten ink at Orichinal Arts don’t wait. Dude is incredible.

His incredible artwork decorates the space and his pricing is fair. I had a great experience with Richard from booking to walking out the door! Highly recommend!
