I cant say anything negative about this place. Ive had several tattoos done, by both Brandon and LouLou, and they do amazing work! The shop is clean, decorated with some awesome oddities (some are for sale), Brandon does art commissions and the list goes on. If you are looking for a great tattoo artist, that makes you feel at-home, critical acclaim tattoos is definitely your place.

Brandon is an amazing artist with a unique eye and an incredible understanding of what you want by just giving him some ideas. He then turns everything into a true masterpiece. For my fiancé Seans arm sleeve and our daughters full leg sleeve they were hand drawn directly on them. To this day my daughter walks with us and turns many heads asking where she got her work done. Weve sent many people to Critical Acclaim because Brandon offers breathtaking work. They always go back to him. My son and I had ideas and Brandon took those ideas and gave us tattoos better than what we expected.If you really want that one of a kind tattoo with all of your ideas incorporated, You definitely want Critical Acclaim and Artist Brandon Burr. Your tattoo may be the next one turning heads.

I drove far to this studio based on reviews that I saw here. Brandon was the tattoo artist. Very unhappy with tattoo. The lines are not straight and the blue ink on the symbol is out of the lines, which are not straight anyway, and the blue ink looks cheap and is already faded and the symbol has many missed spots. The side of the ball is not a ball shape, the line is squiggly, not the like the pic I provided. Also when complete there was still excess ink all over my arm. I had to stop off at a McDonald’s to clean the wxcess with napkins. I have several tattoos and paid the same for my last one as I did for this one, and the last one is way superior, done by another studio. They did offer to touch ot up for free, but I’d rather have the previous studio try to fix it, the. For them to mess it up worse. One last thing The pic I provided is a baseball, this tattoo is oval, very satisfied.

Brought my son here to get his ears pierced upon recommendation from one of his friends. They did not disappoint! We filled out our paperwork immediately upon arrival, and then had plenty of cool stuff to look at while the piercer was preparing. Very neat collection of artists, and art work along with eclectic items such as jarred animals & skulls. The rooms are separated for privacy and the vibe is pretty laid back and comfortable. Would definitely come here again & I think some of the tattoo pictures in the reviews are really awesome!Also - they have good aftercare instructions and support. They assisted my son almost immediately when he had follow up questions. Thank you for a great experience!

Great customer service and excellent attention to detail. My daughter went to get a nose piercing scheduled. She fell in love with the place and loulou’s art skills. We ended purchasing an art which she has hung in her room. Just by her smile you can tell she was in the right place. I can see ourselves getting our first matching tattoos here!

I went here today to get my second ear lobe pierced as well as my nose. The only other piercing I have are my ears, which I had since I was 7. So, I haven’t gotten a piercing in a while. Since I just turned 18 a few days ago I decided to get these piercings done and it was super quick and easy. Brandon was very kind and knows how to ease your nerves. If I ever get another piercing again, I’ll make sure I go to him. 10/10

Brandon was amazing and super friendly. He did a matching piece for my sister and I. He drew up exactly what we wanted and still was able to put his own personal touch to it. I have been a loyal customer of Critical Acclaim for over 20 years and Ill go nowhere else for my tattoos. Brandon and his staff are professional and they adhere to strict cleanliness standards. Brandons artwork is superb and some of my best pieces are his unique ideas. I have attached a pic of the outline for my next piece.

Amazing service, Amazing people, Brandon -the guy who pierced me- even gave me the marker he marked with because he “doesn’t reuse things” lol. People at the front desk were super friendly and Brandon gave me recommendations on how to clean my piercing. 10/10 experience

I don’t think I’ve ever wrote a review for a business before but the experience was too good not to share about. It was my first tattoo and a big one at that. Brandon was super chill and funny about the situation and made the experience seem so personal. Constantly checked up on me and made it feel like I knew him FOREVER. Besides the customer service he is an amazing artist. He took what I gave him and gave me something so much better. He even explained the process along the way when I had questions. Great place, Great environment, even greater people.

Not one to write reviews too often, but I had to share my experience. Took my daughter here to get her belly button pierced, she was quite nervous.Brandon (who is an absolute gem), did her piercing. Our experience was great. Brandon was clean, professional and very knowledgeable. The piercing looks amazing, centered perfectly and just the right spot. He was calm in explaining the process to my daughter- he talked his way through the piercing keeping her updated and relaxed. After her piercing she did get slightly light-headed and felt dizzy. He provided her with a lollipop and offered soda, in addition to checking on her and talking her through the experience she had. Meanwhile, him and I shared small talk- he talked about his past and career in tattooing all around the world, and asked questions about us too. My daughter and I had such a positive experience with Brandon, he most definitely earned our trust and respect on a high level. 100% recommend!!!

This experience was awesome! I’ve never been in a tattoo parlor or anything of the sort and I felt so welcome. The staff was very polite and made sure I was comfortable. Brandon was great! First time getting a tattoo and cannot say enough what a positive experience this was. Made me feel comfortable from the moment I sat in the chair. I chose something simple for my first time but have seen his work and know he is capable of some amazing art. Going to be back for something more ambitious soon.

Charged me over $300 for a mediocre tattoo on my forearm, when I tell people what I paid for it they laugh at me, it also healed so badly that strangers were commenting on how bad it looked.. Pierced my wifes npls and put one right through her areola, we went back and they said it was fine yet its been almost a year and she just took it out because it never healed. They do walk-ins which is cool and I guess others had positive experiences but I for sure did not.

The artists were friendly and the shop was clean. I loved the individual spots with the option of a closed door for privacy. This tattoo was to celebrate the life of my grandfather and they did a fantastic job copying his signature. Ive been tattooed 3 times before and this was definitely an enjoyable experience I would happily go back to Allentown for. I was tattooed by Cami and she was wonderful.

I got my seconds/lobes done with Erin and she was so wonderful and kind. Explained the whole process plus some extra tips that help during the piercing process and aftercare. She did a great job and Id definitely go back to her for my next piercing!

Saw Lou Lou’s work on Facebook so I decided to use her for the Halloween tattoo I had wanted. She did an AMAZING job of designing it and tattooing me. The place itself is really cool inside, too and everyone is incredibly nice. Would definitely recommend!!!!

I went to get my helix pierced and I was so nervous because I have a huge fear of needles. As soon as I walked in I felt welcomed and the piercer (Brandon) was so nice and comforting. He gave me a run down of everything as he was setting it up so I knew everything was clean. He was extremely patient with me and tried to give me the best deals and quality for my piercing. The piercing didn’t hurt at all and I’m so happy with how it turned out! It’s a plus to get a piercing here because they change your earring for free and you can buy a earring 50% off if you get a piercing. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends and I would come here for another piercing.

My girlfriend and I had an appointment with Shelby. We were very impressed with the how nice she was and how good her work was, as we both got tattoos from her. Would highly recommend to anyone, and we will be going back again! The design and decor of the shop was also very cool!

I went here for my first tattoo and Shelby was great! As soon as I sat down I felt way better and less nervous. She gave me stress balls and let me watch netflix, while talking me through everything and making sure that I was okay the whole time. I’ll definitely come here again and recommend to anyone, especially if it’s your first tattoo!

Great place. Took my 15 year old daughter to get her ears pierced and Brandon was very nice, patiently explained everything he was going to do before he did it so she wasnt scared and was very personable. We had a great experience.

I was so nervous going due to another shop botching a previous tattoo she was thorough during my consult booked me in ASAP and worked with me through the sketching process. I had my first tattoo completed today by LouLou. I was a little nervous going into it because I wasn’t sure what to expect. The whole staff was very friendly and LouLou made me very comfortable from the start. She explained every step and we had a discussion before getting started about what I wanted and tried on several size options. The power even went out due to a storm during the procedure and she persevered right through. I absolutely LOVE my new tattoo and will be going back when i’m ready for another. Great place for someone who is weary about trying something they’ve never done before. 5 stars all around! Thank you, LouLou!

I’m in heaven with my tattoo. My grandfather passed on Sunday and they were able to get me in so fast on Sunday. They were so beyond comforting and friendly when I arrived to when I left. Erin did amazing on the tattoo. Thank you guys again from the bottom of my heart!!

I got a smaller tattoo on my outer forearm at arts fest in Lehigh Valley a couple years ago and the tattoo came out great. It was all pleasant. I went back for another tattoo and I went in on January 27 to get a sketch done. It’s March 16th and I’ve not got a sketch. I will say that at first I send my idea to the wrong number but it’s really gunan take a month plus after to do it. It was all just disappointing unfortunately didn’t make me feel like they wanted my business at all.debating going back at all

My friend and I got simple numbers and they have faded out completely. My sister got it touched up and it faded away completely AGAIN. I requested my touch up from a different artist but i would have to pay more. Ridiculous, these are simple number tattoos in simple areas. i could have done a better job myself.

Erin is GREAT! I was looking for an artist to cover up my TT scar, and she did a great job! So much so i wanted to continue to get more tats done by her. I got a gorgeous piece done on my leg today and i love it! I got so many compliments.My Tummy tat still needs to have the roses on the hip colored...i will post pics when i get that finished in a couple weeks.
