Mike, the shop manager, was super helpful and knowledgeable of the inventory and even though I didnt get pierced I had a wonderful conversation with Kia. I love that all of the piercers are nurses so you know youre in very capable hands. I have tattoo/piercing studios I personally feel comfortable going to as an adult, but not necessarily to take kids or even someone just not into a alternative scene when it comes to such things so this place is definitely a breath of fresh air!

Clean environment, ample parking at the town center garage, friendly and informative RN who are the staff, comparable pricing with Ulta and Claires, they have two chairs for appointments and they were able to go over the aftercare of my two kids and wifes piercing right after.Great place to get ears pierced when in Annapolis area!

My daughter got her 3rd hole today. Rachel was fantastic! She really took her time to thoroughly sterilize everything, to make sure the holes were even, and she even clearly explained everything she was doing. The place was super clean, had a great selection of earrings, and everyone was so nice. Highly recommend!

First of all, this place is super adorable with quite a nice selection of cute, high-quality earrings (including the two pictured here). Ive been in twice for help with an earring change and the staff couldnt have been friendlier or more helpful. Will definitely be back and highly recommend them.

I was so stressed out about getting my soon to be one year olds ears pierced but Rowan was the best experience that I could ask for! The shop was so clean and I loved the aesthetic and vibe of the establishment. I also appreciate the fact that they were able to pierce her in a private room and also provide two nurses that pierced her simultaneously. The tears were minimal from her and me.

We had an appointment at 3:00 pm, but unfortunately, we ended up waiting an hour past our scheduled time because they were so busy. The service is still top-notch, but I would recommend avoiding weekends if you’re on a tight schedule. Despite the delay, the staff remained friendly and professional, and the quality of the service once she was seen was still excellent. Just be prepared for a potential wait during peak times. My daughters and I came to get mommy and daughter ear piercings. Ms April and Vail were the absolute best! They were very patient and friendly. They took their time making sure we were happy with the placement of the earrings. They also took every precaution to keep things clean by washing their hands and wearing gloves before handling our ears. Would definitely come back for future piercings.

Perfection! Everyone was so great, and friendly! The store was nice and bright and super clean. The gentlemen greet us as we entered and offered help. We purchased a great pair of earrings for my daughter and he was kind enough to put them in for us. We will definitely be back.

The staff here was amazzzzing. My daughter was very hesitant to get her ears pierced, and we had to step out of the store for about an hour to give her some time and space to process it. Everyone was very accommodating and make sure that she was comfortable. Warm and energetic, which made her relax a lot.The nurses April, Travail, and Priscilla were all awesome. The store manager Carlyn was great too.

Kia pierced our babys ears. She was super pleasant and patient. We are grateful for her gentleness. She did an excellent job! The store is bright, new, and clean. It was super easy to book an appointment and customer service was overall excellent.The earring selection for babies is quite limited, but we found something that will work as starter earnings.

I took my 18 year old niece Yasmine to get her helix pierced. Everyone in Rowan was absolutely amazing. The team was professional and friendly. The inside of the store is adorable, fun, and clean. I’m in the medical field and I was impressed by how everything was packaged and sterile. I definitely recommend going there for any piercings from infants to adults! As a side note, I was able to book a same day appointment, no wait time.

My 5yo daughter and I did a Friday night walk-in at Rowan’s. Called first to make sure it wasn’t crowded and Mike was very helpful on the phone. Came in and both Mike and the nurse, Jakia, were very informative and walked us through all their earring options (I did my research already, but still asked questions while there to be sure). The place was super clean and organized.Jakia was so sweet and nice. She made both my daughter and I feel comfortable. My daughter definitely cried, but Jakia along with other customers and myself helped cheer her on! I’m definitely coming back to get my conch and perhaps another helix done. I recommend this place for sure!

I could not be more thrilled with Rowan in Annapolis Town Center! I took my 7yo to have her lobes pierced for the first time - Kia explained everything perfectly so my daughter felt comfortable and confident in her choice! Bonus was that Rachel was also working, so the two pierced my daughter’s ears in tandem (if this is important, be sure to call ahead to see if two nurses are working when you’ll be there). Lovely experience from booking the appointment and registering online to piercing to education about how to take care of the new piercings. Impressed with the level of cleanliness and overall smoothness of our piercing experience. Cannot more highly recommend!

Lovely facility. Clean, quick service. We selected an earring in store immediately for our 3 year old and were tandem pierced in less than 10 minutes. The nurses were great and there was no up selling which I appreciated. We did purchase the cleaning solution and provided a tip to the nurses. It was well worth the price. They also had lollipops at the end with calmed my daughter immediately.

Kia and Mike are INCREDIBLE! I have been here a few times now and I feel like I am in great and safe hands every time. The facilities and clean, fun and lively. Can’t recommend enough

What a wonderful experience for our two kids! Kia took her time to carefully prepare them both and worked with Priscilla to expertly pierce our youngest, both ears at the same time. Clean, professional, kind, and caring. I would definitely go back again.

I took my 9 month old daughter and had the best experience! I wanted somewhere we knew would be clean and sterile but also somewhere that does piercings often. Rowan Annapolis was outstanding. I have been in Rowan a few times over the past few months and have had a wonderful experience each time. Amazing staff members and talented nurses make trips there so much fun! Jewelry is so cute too!

Awful experience. Do not come here to get pierced. I went yesterday to get a conch piercing and the lady stuck a needle through my ear and couldn’t figure out how to get an earring in. Now I’m left with an open wound in my right ear and have to wait 3 months until I can get re-pierced in the spot I want.

I had a great experience at Rowan. I decided on a whim to get my ears pierced so I didnt have an appointment and I was seen and pierced within an hour! Everyone was very helpful and accommodating and had great expertise in what they were doing. I will definitely be going back for more jewelry and will recommend to anyone who is looking for ear piercings!

Went to get a helix piercing for my birthday, and Kia was so kind, supportive and helpful. The actual piercing process only took 5 seconds and she was so precise about it that it barely stung. So many beautiful earrings to choose from, a bit pricy but definitely worth it!

Kia did my second conch piercing. I can’t believe how much less this piercing hurt than the first one I got elsewhere! Kia and Rachel were super friendly and fun. Studio is clean and has a great ambiance. Will definitely be coming back!

Vale did my earlobe and helix! The whole experience was awesome and I was immediately relaxed by their hospitality. Kiya checked in on us often to make sure I was doing okay. Definitely recommend their products and the vibes overall. Im coming back soon :)

Absolutely loved my experience today at the Annapolis location!!! Evey step of the way!! From the greeting when we walked in the door to the follow up text right after. Brought my 4 year old in and she is all smiles ready to go back!!! 10 out of 10 hands down recommend for anyone looking for a great first piercing experience!!!!!!

I feel so bad doing this because April was very nice but my daughter and I both had our ears pierced and had to redo the right ear on both of us. Mine was spaced oddly from my previous two (and still is after repiercing). My 6 year old it was her first experience. When April pierced her right ear the angle was very steep and the back of the earring was below the earlobe and pulled the front of the earring facing upward. We had to repierce her. It looked ok after repiercing but it wasn’t the best experience. While they gave us $50 off I think they should have given more (considering mine needed repiercing as well). While April was very nice and overall it was a clean and hygienic experience I found out after the fact that both April and the other piercer in the shop only had 5 months of piercing experience. I would say to skip this place until they are more tested and the piercers have more experience under their belts. Sorry April for the review but have to save other kiddos from this!

First time in the store, I had no idea they were in Annapolis town center! They have a great selection of hypoallergenic and 14k good earrings and even earrings that can be used as node rings!! I’d definitely recommend anyone in the area to stop in and check them out 😊

If I could give 10 stars I would!I called ahead to see if someone could remove two earrings that had stuck posts. Mike took the call and told me to come directly to the shop where they would look at the situation and see if they could take care of it.Both nurses who took care of me did not rest until they were able to remove the backings which were a combination of metal and silicone and had been holding my earrings in place for at least a year. They were kind and extremely gentle even though it was a difficult task.All in all it took about 20 minutes to remove them. Lesson learned...stick to silicone or butterfly backs in the future!Thank you, thank you, Rowan staff! I will be coming to you in the future for additonal piercings and jewelry.

I would leave a 4.5 if I could. Kia was so sweet and wonderful. She did an amazing job and was so patient while I was indecisive with jewelry. The half star I would take off has nothing to do with her. I had planned on getting a new mid helix and my anti-tragus re-pierced. The nurse said she had to call her trainer to see if she could do the anti-tragus. The trainer said they do not offer anti-tragus piercings because they are considered body piercings. However, they are in the look book on the website which I mentioned but she said they aren’t (they are pictured and named). Also, tragus is listed so I’m not sure why this piercing wouldn’t be. Since they offer conch and tragus piercings I was pretty disappointed to learn that they weren’t able to do the one that I really wanted. Again, Kia was great and I loved the actual shop! Happy to have a place like this in Annapolis!

I cannot say enough positive things about this Rowan location! The first time I went was for my 21 month old daughters ear piercing. . I was so nervous, but the staff calmed me and assured me every step of the way. The manager was kind and inviting and the nurse was sweet and calm The nurse explained how to clean my daughters ears and was an absolute angel during the whole process! She took the time to explain to me that one of my daughters ears was lower than the other so she was very deliberately marking them to make sure they looked even. Afterward, I was able to nurse my daughter after her piercing and they let me stay as long as I needed to. They gave her tons of stickers, lollis and a certificate of bravery.Fast-forward to two weeks later...one of my daughters earrings snagged on a stuffy overnight and I drove back to Rowan in an absolute panic! The two nurses examined her, cleaned the ear (which had scabbed a little bit), removed the scab and reinserted the earring. My daughter wasnt happy about the situation, but the nurses were incredible. They explained to me that they were sterilizing the earring and putting a little lubricant to help with the insertion which kept me informed along the way.I live in Howard County and my husband was shocked that I was going to drive to Annapolis (which took an hour in the rain), but honestly I will go nowhere else for our familys piercing needs!
