My son and I got tattoos together. I got 2 tattoos. One on my wrist and one on my ankle. George worked really well with us to help create a meaningful tattoo for me and my son. Although I had an idea of what I wanted George was very knowledgeable about what would work well. He was patient and understanding with meeting my wants and needs but also being the artist. He was kind and was great to work with. The shop was very clean and accommodating.

George was fantastic! He took the time to make up different size stencils so we could pick the best one for my shoulder and wrist. He was quick, I didnt feel any pain, and he was thorough/perfectionist. The tattoos look great and I cant wait to get more!

Just got my first tattoo! Jesse did such an amazing job and captured my vision perfectly! I would definitely go back to him and Lucky Bird Tattoo for any future ones. ❤️

I have been going to this place for years and all I can say is that this place is honestly the best! Great customer service!! The staff were very professional and informative when it came to the after care for my piercings. If you have questions or concerns they answer quickly and don’t turn you away (unlike other places). You can tell they really care. Great job!

Phenomenal experience all around!I received a rather large cover up for one tattoo, plus an ‘addition’ to a nearby tattoo. Tattoo did include some color as well.We had a consultation first and I felt like all my ideas, needs, and tattoo goals were heard. The artist created exactly what I was looking for and the finished project is absolutely stunning!During the actual tattoo: He made sure I was okay, comfortable, etc. It was a long project - about a 5 hour tattoo all together. And he was a champ! Very professional and just overall, very kind and personable. And he genuinely just made me feel comfortable - which is so important while getting a tattoo.I ABSOLUTELY intend on returning to this establishment and continuing to use this artist for ALL my future tattoo needs and plans.

My nose piercing was a great experience at Lucky Bird Tattoo. The facility was clean, welcoming and the piercer was very good. She explained things well and made me feel confident that I was getting a safe and beautiful piercing.

My cousins and I (3 people) came in for a memoriam tattoo for our grandmother. Our artist, George, was so incredibly kind and accommodating! I came in for a double helix piercing which is more complicated than I thought. How hard can it be to punch two holes in my ear? Thankfully I had Scott as my piercer who explained that aligning two piercings facing the same direction on my 3D potato-chip surface of an ear takes real skill, care, and consideration. Thankfully Scott had all of these, and Im really grateful to have stumbled upon this shop. Scott was exceptional in explaining the whole process and prepared me well for the big ouch and the aftercare. I really worried about the healing process because of various reddit posters, however the magic spray (hypochlorous acid + saline) he sent me home with has made the recovery a breeze. Ive had the piercing for a week, and I forgot it was there after the first 36 hours. No inflammation or any signs of irritation. Im only going to Scott for any future work.The only con of coming to Scott is that youll want more piercings because he does such a good job and made the recovery so easy. Hes also a cool and courteous dude. 10/10

Yesterday I received my second tattoo from the Lucky Bird establishment. Great experience! Love the tattoo, thoroughly enjoyed the artist and the rest of the staff was very friendly and professional. Any and all future tattoos will come from Lucky Bird!

I came in a few months ago to get my ears pierced for my wedding. I am a 30-something who has never had a piercing in my life and am mildly horrified of needles. I booked my appointment with Kyndall and am so glad I did. She walked me through absolutely every step of the process, helped me decide on appropriate jewelry and taught me breathing techniques to help make the process smoother and less painful. I followed up with her a few times after and every appointment was equally amazing. I left with all of the knowledge I need to care for and change my newly pierced ears, and I know if I ever have any questions I wont hesitate to reach out. Every staff that I encountered from pre-appointment e-mail to check in and Kyndall was absolutely fantastic. I cannot recommend Luckybird Tattoo enough for all of your piercing needs.

Clean facility, courteous and professional staff, and talented tattoo artists! My friend and I went together and both Rodd and Jesse were very attentative and non-imposing. Felt very at ease and in good hands.

So pleased with my experience at Lucky Bird Tattoo last week. Guest artist John Guzman created a mandala design that incorporated aspects of my own mandala artwork, and I’m so pleased with my tattoo! The atmosphere was welcoming, professional, and I loved the colors. The music was so good, I turned my own EarPods off. I had a great experience there.

I got this tattoo done by Shannon and I can’t recommend him enough. Great artwork AND he has a very calm and confident demeanor which makes you feel so comfortable. This was my first one and I’m already looking for what I want to do next time. Amazing experience all around.

Scheduled an appointment online to see Scott for an inner conch piercing. He was awesome! I liked that he sterilized my jewelry in front of me and explained healing/cleaning instructions well. Will definitely be back! 🙂

Had a wonderful experience with Scott today! He was very knowledgeable and took his time with me since I had a bad experience with a different shop with getting my nostril pierced. I will be back again for another piercing!

Shannon was great as usual. everybody in the shop is nice and friendly.for anyone with social anxiety reading this, they have their own rooms. so you’re not out in the open getting tattooed with a bunch of people around. definitely helps ease the anxiety a bit!

George was awesome, answered all of my questions and broke down my tattoo step-by-step through the design, stencil, and tattooing process. Super clean and very comfortable shop with a bunch of cool people. Will definitely come back. 10/10 experience.

Shannon did an amazing job making my Disney/ Harry Potter tattoo come to life. He was very patient with me in when I needed a brake. He also was gentle and I could tell he was not very heavy handed. Everyone at the shop was nice and personable. I will be coming back :)

Unfortunately, I was grossly overcharged at Lucky Bird. As someone who enjoys tattoos and is local to Annapolis I was very excited to finally go here. My tattoo is prob 2x3 or 2x2 and I was quoted by the hour once the tattoo had finished which it says on the website is only done for large scale pieces. Plus I was quoted $25 over the hourly price (which is anywhere from $100 - $175)?? The owner called to apologize and the artist messaged me the same but I already feel taken advantage of so I won’t be going back here.

My brother and I got Mickey tattoos done by Shannon. This is my second time getting tattooed by Shannon. Both times have been a dream. Shannon has great designs. Most importantly I feel safe. Everyone at the shop is friendly and I have been treated with kindness in both my experience. I will 100% be back.

In Rodd I Trust!! Rodd Diaz that is.If I was planning on getting more ink I would never provide this review out of fear I would have to wait years for an appointment. Thats how good this place is. I watched in awe as one happy customer after another came and went, and I couldnt believe the detail each piece had. Not bragging but mine was todays clear winner, but each one I saw was freaking sick. Cannot go wrong with this place.Atmosphere 5 star.Music playing 5 star.Netflix show choice 5 star.I still have a session scheduled and I may update the pictures, but since Im 43 and could care less about influencing anyone Ill probably play the Oregon trail instead.

Jesse did a fantastic job with my tattoo! Picture is right after it was done, before being wrapped with saniderm. It’s healed nicely and looks pretty much the same now except without redness!This was my first tattoo and everyone was very helpful and understanding with my questions. This especially is shown in that I was very excited and worked up, which resulted in me passing out part way through and then throwing up, which they handled gracefully and kindly. I had a friend with me also getting a tattoo so we were able to get hers done and then come back to mine to finish.Thank you Jesse! I love the tattoo and I’m already trying to figure out what my next one will be!

I was tattooed by Jeffy Scott for my birthday in February and it was one of the best tattooing experiences Ive had! He was very respectful and professional and the design was absolutely gorgeous! I was a little worried he would be heavy handed but not at all! I got the entire left side of my thigh tattooed and it only took him 4 hours! He works very fast, and it barely hurt because of the care he puts into his work and his clients. I cant wait to get another tattoo by Jeffy, his work truly speaks for itself. While there is a wait list, it is well worth it for the pristine works of art he creates. I plan on going back to him for years to come. Ive already got a plan for another piece.

This is the #1 place for all your tattoos and piercings!!!! All the staff here are incredible people and deeply knowledgeable. Scott did my nose piercing about a year ago, did an amazing job making me feel comfortable. Recently Jeffy did 2 new pieces on my forearm, he is a kind soul, knowledgeable and overall a wonderful artist. I can’t wait to come back for more.

If I could give more stars I would. I scheduled a piercing consult with Scott after getting my nostril pierced several months ago at another shop. I also wanted to discuss getting my septum piercing. Scott went above and beyond. He not only helped me determine if my piercing was healing nicely, but he helped me find the most beautiful jewelry within my budget. This is one of the best things about their piercing studio. When you get pierced, basic jewelry is included in the cost, however, there is a huge range of different jewelry you can select from: $30 - $200+ luxury items. Having the option to stay within my budget and get pretty jewelry was such a relief. I ended up picking one piece of jewelry and wanted a second matching one (for my other nostril piercing). Scott said he could get it ordered quickly for me. After all of this, I had such a good experience, I went ahead and also got my septum pierced. 10/10 guys. This was my second piercing at Lucky Bird, and my experience has been fantastic every time. The atmosphere of the shop is relaxing, the piercers are amazing. Scott was super nice and respectful of boundaries, and he worked with me to get the placement of my piercing just right. Amazing experience overall, I’ll definitely be coming back in the future. My daughter and I went to get complimentary tatoos as a celebration. George was INCREDIBLY patient as we labored over some important decisions on both design and placement. Scott James took his time addressing each of my concerns and he went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and knew each step of the process. This place was a poor excuse of a place. The tattoo artist George was over 30 minutes late and did not call me to the back to get started until almost 45 minutes later. I was apprehensive about him doing my tattoo anyway because in the week prior to getting the tattoo he had someone reach out to me asking what I wanted again and to send pictures although I had already showed him what I wanted and pictures about 2 months prior to the appointment. He also tried to choose what he wanted me to get as a tattoo without even consulting me, he waited until the day of my appointment. My tattoo was a cover-up and I understand those can be tricky, but at least consult with your customer prior to making this decision and do not decide for them! He also seemed very nonchalant and as if he did not want to do the tattoo anyway. I asked for my deposit to be transferred to new artist or for a refund and they would not grant me one. I would not ever go back to this place, very very poor customer service!Update:Let me start off by saying this place has totally redeemed itself in my eyes. After the initial incident, I spoke with the manager/owner and they totally smoothed things over and made things right. That is what you call great customer service! I was able to transfer my deposit to a new artist who was totally amazing. John was my artist this time and he was beyond amazing. He was able to do my cover up better than I expected honestly. He was professional, extremely knowledgeable, and just all around a good people person. I also very felt welcomed and honestly I will be back. I am already planning to get another tattoo here and am excited for it. In the end everything worked out and this is a great place!

Ive gotten two tattoos and seven piercings at Lucky Bird and every single experience has been great. Their artists, piercers, and front desk staff are fun, professional, welcoming, and compassionate. As a woman, I take safety very seriously and Ive never felt unsafe or that my concerns were too trivial here. Everyone Ive worked with has taken my ideas and custom fit them to my body to maximize longevity and minimize issues with healing. Despite living 30-40 minutes away Im a customer for life.

I got my nose pierced today!!!! Ive wanted it for almost 10 years and I finally just went for it. Kyndall was fantastic, OMG. When I say I was nervous, its a serious understatement. I spent the whole morning pacing my apartment and getting myself way too worked up. She thoroughly explained everything - the piercing process, the jewelry, the aftercare - and made sure I was comfortable during the whole thing. The chair you sit in is great and helps you to relax. The gentleman at the front desk was also wonderful. Cannot recommend this place enough! Thank you!!

I stopped in to Lucky Bird Tattoo on a whim to see if I could get a piercing with some free time I had this afternoon. Everyone I spoke with was so welcoming and friendly - and as an added bonus, Nick had availability for a piercing! They give you a few options for initial jewelers that’s included in the price of the piercing, and it was nice to have a few options of size and look.Nick did a great job with my piercing - he explained everything thoroughly, and was knowledgeable about everything from angles to after care. I’m so glad I decided to wander in for a piercing here! I will definitely be back.

Scott was wonderful...very engaging, knowledgeable, and professional. He did a nose piercing for me, and was very thorough in explaining every aspect of the procedure. Using sterile technique, he accomplished this very quickly and with minimal discomfort. I had my nose pierced last year, and after 5 months tried to replace the stud with a ring, unsuccessfully. I will return to have him make the replacement in a few months. With my 1st piercing, I bled for over an hour. Not a drop this time. Im very satisfied with the results, and will definitely recommend him!

I was looking for a new place to get a tattoo, since Body Mod closed in Annapolis Mall years ago. Not too long ago I received a Luck Bird gift card for my birthday. Mid July I visited Lucky Bird to make an appointment. When I walked in I got a really good vibe and felt very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and professional. Made my appointment and Rodd Diaz was my artist. Let’s just say I found my new tattoo spot! This place ROCKS! I’m already thinking about other tattoos I want and I’ll be right back here. He was an all-around professional, was patient answering all my questions and kindly dealing with both my picky tweaks to the stencil placement and my anxiety/low pain tolerance. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for him and for the studio itself.About the shop….The front desk staff and even the artist in the room beside Shannon were helpful and friendly with scheduling, ink placement and aftercare instructions. The entire space was clean and decorated really nicely and having a private space with just Shannon, my emotional support person and me was great.

All the staff is friendly. Ive had my tattoos done by artist Shana Hall and I couldnt be more pleased. She does excellent work and is very fast. I highly recommend her.

Rodd is awesome. Great work and takes his time. His attention to detail is like no other. We didn’t get the entire tattoo finished in the first session but can’t wait to go back for round 2. I have been tattooed by both Rodd and Tyler. Both are amazing artists and have styles of their own. You can’t go wrong choosing Lucky Bird. Great customer service and great experience!

Had a great experience with Scott. He took a lot of care in the placement of my double helix piercing. He was super knowledgeable about healing and aftercare. The piercing was a last minute decision while my husband got a tattoo so we had our two month old with us and Scott was super patient with us.

It’s been about 4 months since I got my first ever tattoo with Jeffy, he was amazing! I am always getting compliments about how well it healed, how great the line work is, and how good his placement was. I loved that he allotted a lot of time for the appointment so I wouldn’t feel rushed. It was a great experience. I am so so happy with it and am already thinking about my next! Worth the long waiting list :)

Scott was awesome & so kind. He talked me through every step which made me feel totally comfortable. He me sure to line up my new piercing with a previous one so that the earrings will align well (something I totally didn’t think about before). Absolutely recommend.

Kyndall slayed. Also there was cool art all over the walls of this place. Huge fan of the front desk, they gave my friend and me free stickers both times we went. Super clear after-care instructions, consultation showed us where piercings would be located. Plus after-care instructions email helped as well.

I had my ears pierced here by Nick, and I’ll never go anywhere else. If I ever move, I would fly back to this area just to see him again. He is kind, efficient, and incredibly personable. He made the piercings a comfortable and easy process. He explains what he’s doing the entire time. Between my appointments, he even remembered details from my personal life I shared with him. He’s a genuinely kind guy, is incredibly clean and careful, and I couldn’t recommend him more highly. Don’t go anywhere else!

I have been meaning to write a review for Lucky Bird for the longest time so I apologize for that. I have gotten 10 out 15 piercings here at this shop, some done by Scott and some done by Nick. I will definitely plan on getting more from here, no doubt about it. Both Scott and Nick are extremely professional and very knowledgeable about what they do. The aftercare instructions are very thorough and the shop itself has always been kept extremely clean. I always feel comfortable upon entering the shop and the front desk staff are always very pleasant. Earlier this week I got tattooed by Shannon and he was wonderful. The tattoo turned out absolutely amazing; it means so much to me for multiple reasons. My grandmother taught me how to crochet when I was very little, so I got a ball of yarn tattooed on my right shoulder since I’m right handed when I crochet. My grandmother had gotten very ill over the past few months and she sadly passed away the morning after I got my tattoo. I could not have asked for a better design and experience. If you are interested in getting your first tattoo/piercing, scheduling a consultation and an appointment is super quick and easy. If you are a tattoo/piercing fanatic like myself, you would truly be doing a disservice to yourself by not visiting Lucky Bird Tattoo.

After researching quite a few tattoo studios and artists, I finally found Lucky Bird and I’m so glad that I did. Right out of the gate, everyone I spoke to was extremely helpful and polite. It’s clear that everyone there truly takes the time to go above and beyond for their clients.Both of my experiences at the shop were great, one for a consultation and one for the tattoo. The space is extremely clean and they take measures to ensure it stays that way as well as ensuring everyone feels safe during their visit. This includes wearing masks, routine hand washing, sanitizing, etc. Very clean (which obviously anyone would hope for when being tattooed or pierced!). Awesome atmosphere and it’s a nice “vibe”. Wed been looking for a new place to call home for tattoos /piercings, and LB was nothing but welcoming from the first time we walked in. Weve been in multiple times in the past couple of months, and weve never had anything less than a fantastic experience each time. Their piercing is top notch and easily the cleanest Ive ever seen or dealt with. Its made a huge difference in my piercing experience, as someone who has extremely sensitive skin. And all of their artists are so nice and friendly!

I had an amazing experience at Lucky Bird.I got my tattoo by Rodd Diaz and, while Im sure the other artists are great too, I HIGHLY reccomend going to him.Its obvious when you meet him how much he truly loves creating art in his tattoos, and it really shows in his work. He is very laid back and very humble about his work.I was nervous when I first explained my idea because I wasnt really sure how to make it work, but he immidiately created an elaborate design in his head and starting throwing in different ideas and details of what would help create contrast, realism, and an overall amazing piece. The most shocking/incredible thing about his work is that he doesnt use stencils! He draws out the idea with a sharpie on you and then after you decide what you want to change, he just takes off from there! (I attached a photo of my tattoo to show how well he did this).I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend going to Rodd Diaz for any tattoo youre thinking about getting! I love my new tattoo!

Scott did my nose piercing. He made the whole experience easy and understandable. He explained everything in detail, without overwhelming me. I highly recommend the Flying Bird. I would also like to add that the gentleman that checked me in and out, signing of Waivers and payment upon leaving, made my experience extremely pleasant. Also, the place was spotless clean.

This is my 2nd tat from Lucky Bird, my first from George and he did an amazing job! We had great convo, his playlist was dope, old school cartoons were giving nostalgia and it was everything. I got a flying bird with my brothers nickname on my arm, and I absolutely love it, it came out better than I thought it would. Later, I may get more details around it but my goal was achieved today, and I couldnt be happier. Thank you, G!The receptionist was really nice, Im sorry I cant remember his name but he showed me a few of his tats the owner gave him and they were cool.Price was good, the studio is clean and bright- not dingy and dark like a dungeon. Since I move in 3s, Ill have to think of what I next and schedule it before the year is up.

Greeted by name and introduced to my artist . Place is clean and tidy and the music was awesome. Carlos is friendly and answered all my questions about tattooing ( lots of questions ). He was willing to take a design I had always wanted but was apparently too detailed for its size and redesign it for me.He was efficient and ultimately his line work is perfect. I am thrilled with this tattoo. The staff and other artists also very chill. Will be back for more.

I saw Scott on 9/22 for a piercing and let me tell you, this had to be one of the best experiences I’ve had with a piercer. He was so laid back, super professional and took the time to explain everything thoroughly, which helped calm my nerves a lot. I’ve been to other places before but never had an experience like this. His apprentice was also awesome, they both just give off a very calming vibe and are extremely knowledgeable. 10/10 will forever recommend.

I have gone to LB for multiple body and ear piercings and got my first tattoo here. They have a customer for life. My piercings were done quickly, professionally, and healed better than any Ive had before. My tattoo is absolutely gorgeous - you wont find a better shop in Maryland. Their office is very clean, and staff are friendly and professional! I have several more services planned out to get with them soon :)

Went here to get my earlobes pierced and the service was fantastic. Super nice and knowledgeable people, theyll answer any questions you have and make your comfort their priority. This was my first time getting piercings and it was a lot smoother than I expected. Its been about 3 days and my ears havent hurt whatsoever.

Ive driven passed this shop for years and never had the chance to stop in. I waited two months to be able to get a tattoo, and it was well worth the wait. Just had a great experience with Jeffy Tattoos. It was so good, in fact, I booked an appointment for another tattoo with Jeffy on my way out. Jeffy is the rare artist who really listens to his clients and works to achieve their vision. His detail work is AMAZING!Lucky Bird is always clean, professional, on time, and supportive. All the artists are great and while you need to find the one that suits you and your style, you can definitely find a good match here whatever your style.

I had my ears pierced by them and the service was absolutely fantastic. The piercer, Scott, was friendly and professional. I appreciated him taking the time to make sure I liked the placement before piercing, and the fact he explained everything he was doing as he was doing it. The equipment and piercings were sterilized first, and the room was well kept. They also did a great job of following recommended COVID protocols which I appreciate since I’m often around people who are high risk. I couldn’t be happier with my experience here, and will definitely be returning/recommending to friends for any future piercings.

Just got my second tattoo from Dane and I LOVE the way it turned out. Had a great experience with my first one from him, as well - everything was so beautifully detailed and healed really well. So my boyfriend and I had an appt with someone else who left- and so we were assigned to Jeffy. He usually has a huge waiting list but because of the circumstance we were able to get bumped up. I thought to myself wow a years waiting list? Thats crazy come on.I will eat my words because his work... I mean I am blown away. I would wait 2 years for a tattoo from him if I had to- I dont think I can go anywhere else ever again because the quality was incredible. Not to mention he just in general is a nice guy.Absolutely will recommend to everyone who ever wants a tattoo- the photo is incredible

Arrived at this business at 10:20 after being told Fridays at 10:30 are walk in days. Stood in line behind 6 others until being greeted and asked what I was interested in. The tattoo was for my daughter and after explaining everything I was told 3 hours and I would be receiving a phone call to come back. We walked around the mall and sat in the car for 3.5 hours with no call, so I called to check back. I was told the first few people decided they wanted multiple tattoos and my chances of my daughter [who is a minor and has been waiting for this opportunity] getting her tattoo today was low. Was also told to try again another Friday, after already taking off this Friday to take her in. Not sure what kind of business practice this is? How about a phone call to let me know what was going on so we wouldnt have wasted our entire day? I understand you guys are busy, but I wish this was handled differently.Update: I have issued two additional stars since the company did respond to my review so quickly. However, I do feel as though customers should be told during consultation that there is a possibility they wont be taken, even if given a time to return. This way, the customer is informed and knows what to expect. It was never mentioned to me that there was a chance my daughter wouldnt be tattooed. I was just told we would need to wait for 3 hours. But again, thank you for responding.

Nick Tate was so great! Very professional. Clean environment, definitely keeping up with all the COVID rules and regulations. Nick made me feel at ease and explained the process and after care well. I made an appointment at Lucky Bird in April, based on good online reviews, to get my second hole re-pierced as it closed many years ago and I was interested in having that second piercing again. From my first phone call to the in-person appointment, everyone was very friendly and informative. The facility was very clean and you could tell they were following all COVID restrictions. After that piercing healed, I decided to go back for a third hole in each ear. Scott did my piercings both times, and he had an apprentice helping/shadowing him on both occasions. They’re so thorough on walking you through the whole process from start to finish, and make sure you are comfortable every step of the way. I even called the shop prior to making my appointment and asked a bunch of questions, and the girl who answered the phone was super helpful and didn’t sound annoyed one bit at all the questions I had. Based on my two experiences here, everyone I’ve encountered is super professional and they just want to make sure you’re satisfied with your experience at the end of the day. I have zero tattoos and minimal piercings, and I felt very comfortable and accepted at this shop. Good people here, highly recommend!

Nothing but good things to say about the piercers at Lucky Bird!! Scott and Nick are both astoundingly professional, friendly, and talented, and their prices are super reasonable. All 6 of my cartilage piercings there have been swift and minimally painful - so much so that I was able to get 4 of them done in one sitting with relative ease! Theyve all healed (or are healing) perfectly, with the newest two being even more well-behaved than the previous ones! Would also recommend the Naked piercing aftercare products they sell - I think its been helping my new ones tremendously, and is for sure less hassle than mixing my own saline solution.

I got my first tattoo from Gene and had a great experience. He worked with me on getting the design exactly how I wanted it and helped ease my nerves by showing me the needle he would be using and checking in with me through the process. I’m obsessed with my tattoo and can’t stop staring at it! I also got a second lobe piercing from Nick a few weeks prior and had an equally great experience. Nick walked me through everything and took his time to make sure I was alright. I was very comfortable at both appointments and can’t wait to come back and work with Lucky Bird again.

I can’t actually speak to their tattooing ability as I tried twice to make an appointment and got nowhere. I initially emailed them and was told they could probably do the piece as a walk-in. So I went in on a Friday and was told they weren’t doing walk-ins but I did talk to two gentleman while I was there, one of which was an artist who said he’d be interested in doing the work. He took down my name and number and said he’d give me call. It’s been months and I haven’t heard anything. I finally went somewhere else. It’s a shame because I’ve heard good things about them.

Kyndall did an amazing job on my powder brows- she used a combination of free hand and then software to ensure that the brow lines were ideal with my facial structure/natural brow shape, and spent so much time making sure that it was exactly what I wanted. During my second session, she took so much time making sure everything was perfect. The shop was incredibly clean, and I am so impressed with her work. I can’t say enough good things about my experience with her. I would never want to see anyone other than her.

This evening my date stood me up so I decided to go do something semi crazy and walked in to lucky bird and asked to have my nipples pierced. I spoke with Scott who was very helpful and made me feel 110% comfortable. Ive had them pierced before but its been a few years so he walked me through the process and made sure the piercings were symmetrical and that I was as comfortable as I could possibly be. It was a great experience and I would recommend him as well as go back for any future piercings. The staff was all VERY friendly 😉

Best experience I have ever had a piercing/tattoo shop. Ive been to 4 different shops before coming here. Was searching for a go-to shop since I hadnt found one that wowed me. This shop certainly did though, and now I wont be going anywhere else. Had my first session for my full sleeve with Carl today, and it was a wonderful experience. The shop is super clean and Carl was very meticulous and on point! He brought to life what I envisioned and I can’t wait for our next session!!

The artist I go to is Tyler McKinney, having spent over 50+ hours with him. Not only is he a really talented artist, but a really funny and personable guy. Strives to do his best work on every piece and to make every detail as best as possible.The shop is always clean and the people who work there are always friendly and helpful. Overall Lucky Bird is an immensely talented shop and deserves a lot of recognition for the quality of their tattoos and the care they put in to them.

I absolutely can’t say enough good things about this place. The staff is so friendly and welcoming every time I come in it feels like I’m just hanging out with friends. Shana has done two of my tattoos are she’s AMAZING. Her detail, shading and line work are impeccable and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone that wants a quality tattoo. Nick did my fiancé’s first tattoo on his foot and he was also amazing, it was exactly what we wanted. The piercer, Scott has pierced my fiancé as well as changed out jewelry for me. Super informative, friendly, and clean. Really top-notch experience. Also inquired about artwork for tattoo that was done by family member and they explained how they can do that but also described certain limitations depending on the art. Very helpful. Next visit to Lucky Bird - one more tattoo. (Well, one more for now!) One additional kudo - not technical - but they asked for my pronouns and I found that very inclusive and respectful. Good people.

I recently had my first lobes pierced by Scott. I had my ears pierced when I was a kid with a gun and had nothing but problems ranging from chronic inflections to one of them ripping because of the placement of the piercing. Im 4 weeks in, havent had any infection or pain issues, and all you have to do is keep them clean with soap and water. Scott makes you feel comfortable and lets you know step by step whats going to happen and takes the time to make sure everything is lined up properly and that you like it. I was surprised at how little it hurt. 100% recommend Lucky Bird for you or your age appropriate kids to get their piercings.

I had an ear piercing done by Scott. He took time to make sure the placement was what I wanted, explained all the procedures thoroughly, and made sure I was comfortable. It was a great experience.

Yesterday 9/13 I was in the shop for 2 piercings . Scott James and his apprentice were exceptional !! I really appreciated them explaining everything and taking the time to align and perfect the positioning of my jewelry . I will def be back for more & I will be recommending him to everyone i know!

I came in because to get my new cartilage piercing done at another place looked at and Nick replaced the piercing and gave me instructions in how to take care of it. He was patient and understanding that I didn’t know much information about the old piercing. He wrote down all the info I needed on his card and was clear in how I should take care of it. I felt no pain when he worked on my ear and he was very friendly.

Have gotten tattooed multiple times by Tyler and Parry also. Great artist who put in the proper time for an awesome tattoo and unmatched quality. I have been to tattoo studios all over the United States and they’re hands down one of the most professional and cleanest/sterile. Even in these times of COVID you won’t feel safer anywhere else.

For my 60th birthday, I decided to get my 2nd earlobe piercings redone. I had let them grow over about 30 years ago. After much research and checking reviews, I landed on this spot and Scott. It was a great experience! He explained everything in great detail, and I never felt rushed. The place was immaculate and Covid protocols were in place. There was no pain, and I couldnt believe that my ears were not even red. The pic is one taken immediately after. I did this 2 days ago and have had no issues, no discomfort, and am healing well.

I walked in this past Saturday to get two piercings. I had come alone, and was a little nervous. Scott, the piercer, greeted me and started my paperwork. A woman in the waiting area assured me that I would have a good experience, as she had come to Lucky Bird before. She was absolutely right. Scotts disposition put me at ease immediately. He put time and care into prepping me for my piercings, informing me of each step as he went along so I knew what to expect. Everything was organized and sterile. Scott was quick, gentle, and professional while piercing me. He coached me on aftercare and showed a genuine interest in the healing of my piercings. Impeccable staff and environment.

First trip to Lucky Bird. The shop was clean, my appt went on time. Dane did a great job. My tattoo was a pretty simple design but the lines had to be really clean. I’m very pleased. Looks even better than I pictured it.

This is the only place I will go for both piercings and tattoos. Nick does your piercing right the first time as well as his knowledge on placement. You also have a selection of artists for your tattoo. They have different styles which helped me choose Rodd Diaz. I’ve waited for a long time to find the best and right artist for what I want! This shop is beyond amazing!!!!! I got powder brows done by Kyndall. After researching people that do this service for several months, I booked with her. Everyone in the shop was so welcoming and Kyndall was super awesome. She is very dedicated to making sure you are 100% happy with the work and look amazing. She is so talented at what she does and was super sweet and messaged me several times during the healing process to see how I was doing and if I had any questions. Definitely will be returning to her next time I need a touch up and have recommended friends to go see her as well.

Saw Scott to for ear lobe piercings and had an excellent experience. Extremely nice, calm and meticulous. All the staff I interacted with were great and the studio seemed immaculate.

Got a Texas Brand tattoo when I was in High School (went with my parents) and it came out great. Lines were super solid, the filing was perfect. Was super happy. Itd been about 3-4 years and I might need a touch up, since its a pure black tattoo. Still highly recommend. Everyone was super nice there.

I was on vacation in Annapolis, Maryland. I had been wanting a tattoo in memory of my dad for about a year. I wanted to make sure I got exactly what I was looking for. I found four places in Annapolis. I checked them all out before deciding to get it done at Lucky Bird. Lucky Bird is so clean and the staff is great. The shop is filled with the spectacular art work of the artists who work there. Tyler McKinney did my tattoo. He is an amazing artist, who I entrusted to do my tattoo. It took about two hours to complete. Watching this master tattooist work on my tattoo was an incredible feeling. Words can not describe how awesome my tattoo is. Everyone I have shown it to has been blown away. I am going back to Annapolis next year. I am looking forward to going back to Lucky Bird and having Tyler McKinney doing my next tattoo.

Just got a Banjo Kazooie tattoo from Shannon, he was a awesome chill guy! very quick and professional about it. I gave him a good tip. My tattoo took about 2 hours long the pain was okay didnt hurt at all. I highly recommend going to this tattoo shop amazing people as well.

Rod did such a great job, he took the time to get the details how I wanted it and had multiple options for size to make sure it was perfect for where I wanted it placed. Rodd Diaz was my artist and just to book him was like getting an autograph from a celebrity. The tattoo I received was ok nothing special but that wasn’t the issue after I paid nearly 1k for the tattoo I couldn’t get a response to get it touched up. Dude really needs a reality check his work is subpar and overrated. My first tattoo with lucky bird was with an awesome artist that lives in Florida now. I would definitely never recommend this place after my last experience. It’s kool Rodd thinks he is a great artist but at least take care of customers that have paid. I gave a 20% tip maybe that wasn’t sufficient? If he would have responded to my multiple emails I was willing to pay for a touch up AFTER 30 days!!!!!!
