Tradition Tattooing

Dave has two separate pieces on one sleeve for me. They were 3+ years apart, and his ability to bring them together and maintain consistency is amazing. Even in a style of tattoo that he doesnt do often, it is incredible work and you can tell that it is fun for him. I was recommended to Dave by a good friend and have also referred a couple of friends his way as well. He is a delight to spend time with and genuinely cares about the quality of the work that he is doing. His detail and shading work is incredible. I look forward to finishing my second piece with him. Great artist, great conversationalist, high quality work.

I met Dave 9 years ago and he has been tattooing me ever since. Dave has worked to make me tattoos that are unique and beautiful. Hes very creative and with his art background, his renditions and work are impeccable. He really takes the time to make you sure you love the pieces he will put on you and the actual experience is enjoyable (as enjoyable as tattooing can be). I constantly get asked where I got my work done and I am always happy to send anyone Daves way.

I was impressed and very happy with Dave’s work! It’s very clear that he knows what he’s doing, and that is very evident when you see his art. He helped me take an idea of what I wanted for my right arm/ chest panel, and turned it into something that exceeded my expectations.From the very first step of getting a tattoo from Dave, I felt very taken care of. Through all of my appointments, he was accommodating and respectful, as well as great to talk to, which I think can be important if you’re sitting for multiple hours.While Dave’s talent goes beyond traditional Japanese art, his skill in that particular field is what solidified my decision to schedule a consultation with him, and I plan on returning when I’m ready to start my back.

I have three large pieces from Dave and they are by far my favorite!! I have had people recognize his work when I am out and about. Dave is easy to talk to and friendly. He is honest and will make sure you get a tattoo you are happy with!!

Dave is the best of the best. I made an appointment with him for a consult, not really knowing what I wanted. I was expecting a 5 minute conversation, however we talked about my sleeve and the many different options for close to an hour, showing me books and pictures from different pieces he had done previously. Dave is incredibly creative and gifted as a tattooer. He is enthusiastic and came up with some brilliant ideas with the design for my tattoo. Scheduling sessions with him was simple. I wanted to get my arm done in a reasonable amount of time, and he was able to accommodate my demanding schedule with his, and was able to tattoo me every three or four weeks, basically as fast as my body would heal. He is the kind of artist I wish every artist was, because he is a perfectionist to the molecular level, and is passionate about everything he puts on someones body. He is honest and doesnt over charge, and is great company when he is jabbing a needle into your arm for hours at a time. I recommend Dave for any traditional Japanese piece. I get compliments daily on my arm, and its all thanks to Dave Regan.

Just got my first tattoo. So fortunate I was able to get an appointment with Dave. Extremely professional. Put my newbie mind at ease. Very easy to talk to, great ideas for the shading of what I was looking for, very helpful on aftercare, and awesome conversation throughout getting it. Time honestly flew by. Very fair in pricing/ though I didn’t base that in finding him. I couldn’t be more happy. Dave is simply a good soul and very blessed to have crossed his path. Every bit of five stars.

I have been tattooed by close to twenty different artists, all over the country, and I have to say that Dave is far and away my favorite. I gave him a large piece of real estate from my mid thigh to my waist and I could not be happier about it. This tattoo fits my body like I was born with it. Ive never met anyone who works with the shape of the body to create such flattering composition. He was also extremely gentle and attentive while managing to keep me laughing through every session. I cannot say enough nice things about Dave. His artistry is matched only by his personality, and trust me, youll want to pay to hang out with this dude.

Dave is the man for traditional Japanese tattoo work. He takes great care, during consultation, to ensure you receive the art you are hoping for. He’ll work with you on style, size, and placement to make sure you receive a piece of art you are proud of. On top of that, dude can talk real rap, literature, culture, and existential for hours.The shop is as clean and professional as you will find and there is no better place in Denver to get a tattoo. Do yourself a favor and stop looking anywhere else.

Dave has created multiple pieces for me ranging from stand alone tattoos to full sleeves. Not only is he a great artist but he listens to what you want and helps guide your ideas with his expertise to create something you will love. Plus he’s a rad dude.

Dave is by far my favorite tattooer to have work on me. Clean, well done, and surprisingly quick. I have 7 tattoos made by him and can’t wait for the next one. He is also hilarious and handsome....ladies.

I recommend Dave to everyone I meet. He’s an incredible artist across all mediums. I initially found him to do a side piece and it was so gorgeous I followed up with a full back piece just a year later. Between his awesome personality (absolutely essential when you’re spending hours and hours - 24 altogether - with someone who will be physically hurting you the entire time) and his incredible skills, there’s literally nobody else I’d trust with my skin in the future.

I have over 35 hours of work from Dave and I will say he is a standup gentleman and artist. Goes above and beyond to accommodate and make sure you are satisfied with the end product. Do you want to dude who has attention to detail but is also not a stiff? Deff not fraid to crack jokes throughout, always a fun time getting tattoos from Dave!

Dave Regan is a master. I’ve spent on order of 20hrs getting tattooed by him and I’ve sent numerous friends, acquaintances and strangers his way since I’m basically a walking billboard for his work now. He’s also great at helping you design the best tattoo and making you feel comfortable throughout the process— a skill I feel is very underrated nowadays. He’s the best!

Word class tattooing done by a great person. I enjoyed my time getting tattooed by Dave as much as you can while being poked by a needle repeatedly. I love the tattoo I got so much that I will be hopefully going back to Dave to do my full back in the future.
