Ocean Tattoos

This place is beyond amazing. Came into town from Texas and wanted a Let Them tattoo. I had an idea of what o wanted and Rebecca was AMAZING creating exactly what I wanted. And Jason the artist 5+ stars. He took his time and was very detailed oriented with the whole project. If you are looking for a place please check them out.

My wife and I were in AC for the weekend and decided to see if we could get a tattoo for our daughter. Stopped at a few places. One was closed for good apparently, one(Boardwalk Ink) we were greeted with a poor attitude not to mention it being wildly overpriced and then we came across Ocean Tattoos. Rebecca was more than helpful and much more pleasant to talk to. We sent her a couple of photos, had a quick chat and in no time were given a much more reasonable price for what we were looking to get. She set us up with Jesse and he was awesome. Very personable and a good artist to boot. The whole experience saved us from disappointment. Highly recommend!

My friend & i came in about 12:20am to get quick fun tattoos. their website said they close at 2am but once we got there they were closing up:( the reviews look good so we want to try n come back soon! but be careful they may not be open til 2am.(update the owner commented back to me and they are completely lying. it’s a shame they lie and can’t take accountability. they closed by 12:30am and never once did we mention piercings - we asked about tattoos since we’ve been wanting to get some all night. instead of a 3 star I’ll give a 1 for the lying!)

While Vacationing in NJ this week I decided that I wanted a tattoo for my birthday(08/14) with my husband of course so my searches on the web took me to many around the area but a gut feeling brought me to Ocean Tattoos in Atlantic City on the boardwalk. We were a walk-in of Course because it was a spur of the moment kind of thing but the lady at the desk (witch I didnt catch her name) was so polite, got us in right away and designed our matching tattoos perfectly ! She was awesome and the tattoo artist Chris did such an amazing job. We are more than pleased and would absolutely go back for more work in the future!!!

Came to AC for a girls weekend. Wanted to get small matching tattoos to remember our trip. The Women up front was amazing (didnt catch her name). Chris was our artist was great. Would definitely Come back again!

On a girls trip with 7 friends. One thing we wanted to do was get a little something to remember and celebrate my cousin and our friend 💜 Rebecca was amazing and so patient with our crazy personalities. The whole crew was amazing getting us in out and giving us exactly what we wanted.

My mother and i both got tattoos . We were in and out! JB is an amazing artist! Rebecca the receptionist was also great!! Will be back for more!!!! If i could give them 10 stars i would!!

If you want a terrible, shaky, paper towel covered tattoo this is the best place to go!! Giving 5 stars so people can actually see this review and save themselves money, time, and regret. My expectations were high when we came in due to the amazing reviews, but was quickly met with a right hook from reality. Ocean tattoos is absolute embarrassment to tattoo artists and shops worldwide and should have their title stripped from them. The lady at the front hates you and/or her life. Her husband is an absolute doll and kind hearted, and I would give them at least 3 stars until she came out and ruined the whole atmosphere of the shop. The artist, Chris, had a terrible arrogant attitude. A toddler could do a better job than Chris (whom we got his name off the certificate on his wall instead of him introducing himself). It may seem like I am being a Karen, but we did NOT even see him change gloves between my cousin and I. 120$ is not a bad price but for a below average subpar tattoo to be covered with paper towels and scotch tape (pictures below) due to lack in proper materials, and only be told after the tattoo is completed is absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional. This place should be shut down do to negligence on its customers as well as it’s hygienic procedures (which they have none). We were given attitude from Chris for him having to print out extra stencils, which he only printed out one for each of us. Below will be an attachment of an apprentice’s work from magnum opus (tattooing for less than a year) vs Chris’s work, who has been tattooing for years (the dark, uneven coordinates). I can not talk for the other artists but Chris and the front desk lady( which everyone talks about in the 1 star reviews) ruin every good thing about this shop and the experience it’s customers go through. I hope you don’t make the same mistake as us and please just go somewhere else, literally anywhere else.

Calling a review “bogus” when you don’t want to take accountability for your actions is beyond unprofessional. My best friend and I arrived at your tattoo parlor at 12:20am asking for two tattoos. We NEVER asked for piercings so you must be thinking of a different instance where you also denied service to a customer during store hours. We walked in to a man sweeping and he said that the store was closed. A woman then came out and also told us the store was closed. Change your hours if you aren’t going to offer service during your store hours. You quite literally lost $400.

Took our Bach group as a walk in right away for 5 matching tats. Quick work, clean, and quality. Slightly pricey, but would still recommend!

My boyfriend and I stopped to get tattoos on our vacation, and we choose Ocean tattoos after seeing other reviews, and I am beyond pleased with our decision! Went in on Friday the 13th to do a ghost tattoo. It looks amazing. The place was very clean, I felt extremely comfortable, the artist was friendly, and the lady at the front (Rebecca) as knowledgeable and sweet. I will be going back!

Let me start by saying I have over 10 tattoos and going to Ocean Tattoos was honestly the best experience Ive had. It was super easy to book an appointment then when I arrived I was greeted by Rebecca one of the owners. I showed her what I wanted to get and she put it on the TV while she edited it and made it exactly how I wanted it. We chatted for a bit while Chris(the tattoo artist) drew up my design. Once in the chair Chris made me feel super comfortable and honestly did THE BEST JOB. He made my tattoo look 1000 times better than I could have imagined. If you are looking for a fine line tattoo Chris is your guy. My next tattoo I will DEFINITELY be going back to Ocean Tattoo. Thanks again guys! I am head over heels in love with my new tattoo!

Jesse did a fantastic job on my tattoo! I asked for some adjustments off of the original design I came in with and he took care of it without an issue. I loved the changes he made from the original design. Rebecca at the front was also amazing and super friendly. I’d come back to get another tattoo here in a heartbeat!

So I wanted a tat on my first beach trip with my hearts family and well did it then niece in law did one, well next day mother in law, sister in law and niece in law decided on another one too. 3 generations and popped my mother in laws cherry with ink here. I called at 11:10pm asking if they close at 2. The first call they hung up on me. Second call the girl was extremely rude. She confirmed they closed at 2am and they take walk ins but when I told her its for a small tattoo she immediately said NO. I asked her why she was saying no but her reply was because we cant . Your shop is open for another 3 hours and you take walk ins but cant do a small tattoo? I guess you dont need to bring in clients or make money. Actually Im glad she showed me their true colors at that shop. 🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩

I brought one of the individuals that I support from Rochester NY to Oceans tattoo and Rebecca did a henna tattoo for my Individual that she absolutely loves. . In the process she noticed her nose ring was causing a problem to her nose and told me what to get to treat it on top of that she gave her 2 earings to use until we can get her the one she needs.... Oh did I tell you she did this for her for free. Good ppl are hard to fund.. Thank you Rebecca for making my clients day... we appreciate you... 🙏

My first time in Atlantic City and I decided to get a tattoo on 04/16/2024 which was a letter D for my best friend and my experience there was horrible and didn’t like how the lady in the front acted torwards my friends and I and my tattoo healed super wrong the only good thing about them is their artist JB who was professional and I highly recommend that no one goes there and get overpriced for a bad job

My fiancé and I went here on our mini vacation to get tattoos. The woman at the front desk was SO helpful and kind. The man who tattooed us, was very professional and the work looks great! Overall, great atmosphere and great people. HIGHLY recommend.

Came all the way from Long Island to have two tattoos done by Jesse! My sons second tattoo from Jesse and my first. Amazing experience both times. We gave him our visions and he perfected them with his hand drawn customizations. His line work and shading is extremely impressive. I would recommend him 1,000 times over! A few weeks ago I was down in Atlantic City and lost the ball to my septum ring. After midnight I called Ocean Tattoos and they told me that I could head on over and they would help me out. Fast forward to today, I spontaneously came down to AC and was able to get two tattoos for a reasonable price without having an appointment. Everyone who works there is amazing! The owner at the front desk put on smerfs for my kids to watch on the TV and made us all comfortable while helping consult on our designs. Came here as a walk in and I was extremely impressed with their professionalism! We have been to a few others in the area and we’re not pleased with their customer service and artist’s work! Everyone in my group got at least 2 small pieces and we are soooooo happy with them!! We will be back every year, this is our new spot!

Atmosphere was top notch and the art was even better both my wife and I got some work done and couldnt be happier. We will be coming back again. Note that it is a five hour ride for us to come back. Highly recommend stopping in and getting art work done.

Chrome Angelz RC International made Ocean Tattoos our official 2023 Convention tattoo studio. The staff was not only very talented but very accommodating. Over a 2 day period they were able to fit many of our members in and even had a breakfast bar set up for our girls. Everyone was very pleased with their tattoos. Ihigrecommend

Lady at the front either hates you or her life, you cannot tell at all. Will 100% give you an attitude and talk to you rudely without you doing or saying anything at all. Tattoo artists’ there are super chill and friendly and nice. The woman at the front ruins the whole vibe of the parlor. Not coming back!
