Best tattoo shop around! Ive gotten 6 of my tattoos done here. They have multiple great artists. I personally work with Dom and Zach. Both are professional and masters of their craft. Zach has done 3 of my tattoos, and Dom has done 3. Both spent time in helping to make sure i knew what i wanted. As well as recommending tattoos. They are honest about where they think the tatoos will look best. Yet do not pressure you if you know what you want. I have had both custom designed tattoos and flash work. All tattoos came out awesome. There are a few other artists there as well that I have not worked with but have seen their work, and its awesome. I plan to get my whole leg sleeve done with American traditional. As well as finish my arm sleeve with realism and black and white. I could not imagine going to another tattoo shop. Prices are competitive, and scheduling is a breeze. I have been to a few other tattoo shops on the area (not going to name names, but if you know you know). And you can just tell they want to make a quick buck and send you on your way. My experience at blind faith is quite the opposite. They want to help you turn your tattoo ideas into art. They work within the confines of your budget and never talk you into or out of an idea.(Ill attach photos of a few of the more recent tattoos)

Friendly talented service, very fun to talk to making eight hour sessions fly by. Cares about the vision being precise and to the clients liking. Very clean and explains everything for better understanding of the process. High praise for this guy and his shop.

DJ is phenomenal. Always attentive & creative, we worked on this project nearly 6 months and I feel made a friend.If you are considering a tattoo at this shop give them a call, they tend to get busy!

The place was absolutely amazing! There kind and patience with people even if you run a little late like I did. Tyler talked with me and made everything so easy to get through. He accommodated on everything I asked for and then some! This was my first tattoo and I couldnt have asked for better artist! I will definitely be going back soon for my next tattoo

Ive been seeing DJ for almost 20 years. Ill never go anywhere else because the work speaks for itself.

Went in today as a walk in expecting to get a few words tattooed (dancing through my storms), but left with something amazing. My original idea was very basic, and after talking with DJ he suggested we do an image to represent the saying. I was not expecting to be getting that done but I am very happy with how it turned out. I really enjoyed that he was willing to talk to me as well, unlike other artists I’ve seen. I appreciate them for fitting me in today as well.

Tyler and Dj are both fantastic. Dj did a tattoo on my dad a while back of my face and it looks fantastic. even to this day after years it looks great. Tyler did a couple tattoos on me and they are so great. He’s super funny and really knows what he’s doing. I highly recommend getting a tattoo here. They take walk ins and have a great atmosphere. I seriously recommend it.

Its been awhile but Ive gotten tattooed here by Autumn and Kevin before they got their own shops. Both did amazing work. From what Ive seen DJ and Tyler are awesome and professional. I recommend the business

DJ did excellent work on a challenging cover up project for me. That included the creative process ahead of tike, which required the right VISION. Happy to say we came up with something great which Im happy to look down at my arm and see.Furthermore, the price point and time for completion of the work were completely reasonable and I left the shop in a great mood. Added bonus was that I really enjoyed the time in conversation with DJ. Will be returning for all my future work. Thanks, DJ!

This is a terrific tattoo shop. I’m vacaying and on my last day I called and they were full but Tyler agreed to fit me in and I am so glad! Couldn’t be happier!! The shop is clean and comfortable. Tyler was professional and I enjoyed talking to him while he worked and he explained everything. Going home with my Maine souvenir and happy. Thanks Tyler!!

A good tattoo is a collaboration between the customer and the artist, and Kevin is a great collaborator. He was very helpful at taking my idea and coming up with suggestions to make it unique. Originally he thought my tattoo would take three hours. It ended up taking 5 but he was fine with staying late to do the whole thing in one go. Great service, clearly enjoys what he does. Would definitely recommend this shop.

If this were years ago, I would leave a good review, but times have changed and the artists have gotten careless and greedy. I had my entire deposit lost because I had RSV and was told that the artist did not want me to come in, on a day they were closed, after I sent an email letting them know I would not be in and would like to reschedule out of respect for the shop and not getting people sick in there. I was told “email is not a reasonable way to contact him, i should have called”, funny thing is.. I went to call, but online it said the shop was closed so I called the next day. (After sending an email to their business email) resulting in me losing my entire deposit.. even though.. even if I had come in.. or called.. we would have rescheduled anyways (his words). I have half done work, through an artist now that picked a quick deposit over long term business.. we’ve done business together for over 8 years.. over 10 sessions. but people change, and apparently the shop owner has no respect for his customers anymore. shady. greedy. and sub par work now due to carelessness. Just spreading awareness to an unfortunate situation so it doesn’t happen to anyone else!

Called about a walk in and they took me immediately, DJ made me feel so comfortable and made the process super easy! Awesome vibe in the studio and loved the family oriented energy. Would give 10 stars if I could!

This is a very clean very, and very professional environment. Tyler was my artist. His art work is phenomenal. Hes given me 4 tattoos. I could not be happier with the work he does. He stayed in contact with me with the design and afterwards while I healed. I will never get ink anywhere else. The studio has a this great vibe of art and cleanliness.

Highly recommended. Chris had some equipment issues during my session and did everything in his power to make sure my tattoo will come out perfectly. Ended up scheduling another session to finish it up. It was very clear he takes immense pride in his work and cares very genuinely for his customers satisfaction. I have complete confidence he will get it perfect when I go in for my follow up! Everyone else was very pleasant and helpful as well!

Came from Maryland on vacation and really wanted a tattoo to commemorate my visit. Kevin was amazing! My tattoo is beyond what I expected and some of the cleanest line work I have ever seen. Called for a walk in on a Friday night. Not only did they get me in but got me a nice stylized American Traditional black cat. Excellent work, great price, wonderful artists. Highly recommend!

Living an hour away from any good shops, I made a few phone calls, and looked at a TON of reviews and this place stood out. Great customer service right off the back. When my mother and I arrived, the enviornment was awesome and the tattooist who did both of our tattoos took plenty of time to figure out what I was picturing and he made it work! I highly recommend going here and Ill be back, with my mom, in a few months to have Devin finish the tattoos!

My first tattoo. Kevin was very professional. It was a full 8 hour appointment. The whole time, Kevin made sure I was satisfied with the progress, also making sure, I was as comfortable as possible. I’m beyond excited for my next appointment, which I already booked with Kevin. Side note, was really digging his choice in music. Really helped pass the time. Most songs are now on my playlist. Ive been to SO many tattoo shops in my day, but Ive never had a more pleasant, positive experience as I have at Blind Faith. DJ and Autumn are both expert artists and make the client feel comfortable and confident when getting their tattoo. Ill never go anywhere else! The environment is laid back, everyone is super friendly and easy to talk to, and the shop is CLEAN and sterile. Both DJ and Autumn are good people to the core and Im so glad I gave their shop a chance!

This is my tattoo after 3 years of getting it done at blind faith in bangor. Still looks great, they accepted 3 of us as walk-ins. I got it done by (at the time) a tattoo intern named Kevin. He had told me the feathering on the antennas wouldnt stay for more than a year, but they are still there! May need a touch-up in a few years but Ive really enjoyed having the work on me, and have gotten many compliments on it over the years.Hopefully will get a chance to go in again soon for some more work.

Kevin did an amazing butterfly tattoo for my 18th birthday and it turned out way more beautiful than I pictured. I came in as a walk in and he was very professional as well as knowledgeable. I definitely plan on coming back in the future!

I would not recommend this tattoo shop. I made an appointment with Kevin to do a small tattoo and a tiny touch up on one of my other tattoos. First the artist forgot he had my appointment, so he wasn’t ready at all for me when I arrived. I waited an hour past my appointment time to get started, to find out the artist didn’t like my tattoo idea and changed the tattoo I came in to get. As he was looking at my other tattoo, we came up with another little spot I’d like touched up as well and the first spot I came in to get fixed, I was told it would be no charge. The artist then told me he was “Just going to go over the whole tattoo” as he is fixing the tiny spots. I asked him how come and he said it looks like it needs to be fixed, now the lines are messed up more than before( and he charged me for it after he said he wouldn’t). While he was doing my other tattoo(which is a small tattoo to keep in mind) the owner of the shop came in and made a comment about my tattoo and went on to answer the phone and tell the lady he likes to do “tattoos” here. He then hung up the phone and went on that small tattoos are a waste of time as I’m getting a small tattoo. The tattoo lines are all uneven now. I also went to pay and was told he accepts cash and PayPal (which would of been nice to know before I even arrived!) he then sent me to a out of order atm. Over all a bad experience and I would not recommend them expesially if you want a small tattoo.

Dj Price is a fantastic artist. An actual real artist, you wont see any flash racks in this studio. If youre serious about quality work, theres nowhere better than Blind Faith Tattoo. Autumn is an amazing artist as well. Be careful though, she bites hard! Youre a towel...

Blind Faith is the best tattoo shop in town, without question. D.J. and Autumn are both true artists in every sense of the word, as well as total pros. If you can imagine it, they can make it a reality. Theyre both masters of a number of styles, from old school to abstract.Blind Faith has a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere that always makes doing business there a pleasure.

As an artist myself, and having owned two shops previously, one of the things that I expect when I walk in the door is a willingness to talk about options when dealing with a bad tattoo. The other is honesty. Ive seen bad tattoos - those that cant be fixed and those that can. I know the difference.Upon walking into this tattoo shop, the artist took one look at my arm and started telling me that he did not want his name attached to the mess on my arm, he was concerned about his reputation. After that, he tells me that his apprentice may be willing to do the job. And finally, proceeded to tell me to have it lasered off.This tells me a few things - he doesnt have the confidence in himself to tackle a tough job, his precious reputation comes before his clients, and his ego is overwhelming any good sense.So, I went to Diversified Ink around the corner, where I was treated quite respectfully, and the artist I spoke with - Abby Lusk - thought the repair was very fixable.Hmmm.As far as I am concerned, a REAL tattoo artist should know his/her limitations, and not be afraid to admit them. If you cant handle the job, just say so. A recommendation pointing me in the direction of an artist that can tackle the job doesnt hurt either. I know. Ive done exactly that, and in return I have customers that are very loyal.To the artist - your reputation only matters to you. The rest of us dont give a damn, we just want our tattoos done - fixed, touched up, new, whatever. Instead of thinking about your name, try thinking about how you can serve the needs of the client, because that is why you are there. To give the client what THEY want, not what you think they should or shouldnt have.As an aside - working on this mess wouldnt have hurt your reputation at all, no matter how it turned out. But you might have had a very happy client giving you a good rating here, instead of someone who will recommend, in person and online, to avoid your shop at all costs. Not only in Bangor, but across the entire eastern seaboard as well as most of New England, and most of the northern states.Think that over the next time you want to put your name and reputation before the client.

Dj has done all my tattoos and have never had an issue with his work. He knows his stuff and is really great guy. I will always recommend his shop over others in the area.

Have had both of my pieces done at Blind faith. Kevin and DJ are amazing artist who do top notch work and take time to listen and hear about what you want instead of just doing what they think is best!

The man was very rude to me. I had him do a tattoo for me and he grinnded the needle into my skin. to this day it still swells up and itches at times. I have 2 tattoos so far and the other dont do that. he did it in a hurry. I bet he is a good tattoo artist for some people but for me i will never go back to him.Note to the Owner: This the tattoo idea i sent to u and the one u gave me looks nothing like it. I will take my canvas to a proper tattoo artist who does what the customer wants

I got a meaningful tattoo of my deceased fathers handwriting by Chris and I am having to now get the tattoo removed 4 years later. It is completed over inked and looks smudged. I am very disheartened that when I came into the shop to address they gave me no options to fix this. They blamed it on my skin. This tattoo meant the world to me now I am completely embarrassed to show my arm.

Cover ups are top notch. This project piece was freehand and all original design by DJ. 100% recommend!
