Walked in on a Saturday afternoon forSome piercings. They were super busy but got my sister and I in before they closed! Super clean place and super nice people. Our Piercer, Haven is the cutest little nugget ever!!! Her energy is amazing! Will definitely be coming back again!

After my 5th tattoo at Diversified Ink and my 3rd with Chloe Jane, it’s only right to leave a honest review at this point.The shop is always immaculate and each artist has their own space that is comfortable and their own style. Everyone in the shop is friendly and fun to talk to. When it comes to scheduling, I’ve never had to wait more than a few weeks and the artist is easily accessible via email to tweak any ideas.I’ve fallen in love with Chloe Jane’s work. Tattoos used to be something I would get every 5 years or more; I’ve had Chloe do 3 in the last 1.5 months! She excels with video game and anime style, but also neo traditional with beautiful colors. My second tattoo was the desert mouse, Maud’Dib from Dune and I only gave Chloe a reference photo and discussed colors knowing that they would use their style and come up with something I would love and she nailed it!My daughter had her nose pierced for her birthday and the process was smooth for everyone involved. They were very knowledgeable and able to answer my many “dad” questions about care. Everything healed up very well and my daughter was very pleased.Without a doubt, I will be returning for many years and tattoos to come. If anyone ever needs a recommendation for a tattoo or piercing, I will always encourage them to go to Diversified Ink.

I have gotten a couple tattoos at this shop as well as two touch ups for others that I have and I love them! The staff here are super friendly and welcoming. It’s a very clean environment and a great atmosphere. The black sheep was done by Ryan who moved to a different shop in Bangor that focuses on traditional style. The wild thing was done by Judy, as well as the touch ups. I love this shop and will continue to come here! My camera is cracked, so the pictures aren’t the best quality.

Got a twin tattoo (with brother) this past weekend. Lovely experience, everyone from front desk to artist are very friendly and welcoming. You immediately feel comfortable walking in. Chloe Jane was wonderful, very friendly, meticulous and had a lot of fun chatting and laughing over various things. Definitely coming back, have other tat ideas, so this will now be my go-to shop. This shop is one of a kind and a very enjoyable experience. Especially appreciate a diverse staff, not something Ive seen at previous shops. Overall, very pleased with experience and will be returning for sure!

The lady that did my daughters nose piercing, Haven, was excellent. Haven is wicked awesome. Very quick, clean and easy. She was super nice (everyone there was nice) and good at what she does. You want a piercing? Shes got the needles and the know how. Check it out!

I have an out-of-town person that I use for all my original tattoos so I cannot speak to any custom work at this shop; however, Ive gotten a small/pre-drawn tattoo as well as a piercing and both experiences were great. The shop is clean and efficient, they dont make you feel awkward or dumb.Wendy did my piercing and she is pure sweetheart.

My whole experience was great! Super easy to set up a time, I showed up and they got me in the chair in no longer than 5 minutes. Haven was LOVELY to work with. Super nice and the piercing was very quick! And very affordable too. Overall I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a piercing. :)

This is my first Google review, ever. 10/10 would recommend. I was visiting the area and had my new conch ripped out. They took me in within a few hours, and fixed me up with no issues. Fantastic staff, great sterilization procedures, and clean and welcoming environment. Tempted to come back to the area just for when I need a new piercing/tattoo!

I got my third lobe and helix piercing done by Wendy today. :) I texted her beforehand asking a few questions and she was very nice and aswered all of them and she even got me golden earrings. Procedure was quick and I didnt have to wait for too long for my turn (around 20 minutes).Very happy with the result ☺️

Im so glad I went to Diversified Ink to have my septum piercing done! I have anxiety and autism. Appointment settings can be a struggle for me, but this wasnt an issue here. Everyone was very nice and communicated clearly and made the process so easy!

I went there to get my septum pierced. The young lady at the front desk was super nice & helpful. Haven is an excellent piercer! The whole process was so fast and easy. She keeps a very clean environment & her decor is rad. Her prices are also quite reasonable. I will def be getting another piercing from her. OH!... and I got a free sticker!

From start to finish, I had a fabulous experience at Diversified Ink. I received a prompt quote after submitting a request on their website and the front desk workers were extremely kind and helpful in setting up an appointment over the phone. I had the pleasure of working with Abby who is as kind as she is professional and talented. It was my first tattoo and I was a bit nervous but Abby’s demeanor calmed me down instantly. I had a sentimental handwriting piece done and she absolutely nailed the handwriting. I am so pleased! Thank you to the staff at Diversified and Abby for making this a fantastic experience!

Friendly staff, very knowledgeable. Insistent you follow though with aftercare, which is very important. The establishment is very clean, piercers follow through with cleaning their stations after each piercing. Will be returning.

I’ve been getting tattoos at various locations since I was 18. I now have multiple tattoos from Jason and have no intentions of going elsewhere. I always enjoy chatting with the receptionists and other artists/apprentices as well. The entire atmosphere is professional, clean, welcoming, and fun. Jason does fantastic at working with you to create a tattoo that combines your goals with his artistic ability in the best way. I’ve spent many long days with him getting tattooed and I always feel at ease, comfortable, and he makes you feel like a friend. I wouldn’t recommend any other shop ☺️

I had a tattoo done of my little Chihuahua Ruby that passed away tragically when I was 13. Abby was my tattoo artist and was the best! For anyone who is introverted and finds it hard to conversate with others, Abby is your go to! She listened to music while my plus one and I watched a movie and talked. Great experince! Will book again! I even got to pick a sticker out! Thank you again Abby and Diversified Ink for making my tattoo come to life(literally... my dogs paw moves)!!

I had a great experience getting a beautiful memorial tattoo for my Nana, and Jason Drake did a phenomenal job. Not only was the tattoo beyond perfect, but he is very professional and was great at explaining after care! After that great experience I wont recommend anyone but Jason!

Clean, friendly, and just overall awesome! Highly recommend Haven for piercings and Leah for tattoos. Haven fixed my lobe piercings that had closed up and pierced my nose/nostril. It was a great experience, only a quick pinch and I was good to go! Leah was also great and handled my first ever tattoo wonderfully. Pretty much the only place I go to for tattooed and piercings and it’s because the staff are amazing. Always friendly and informative, the artists are wicked talented, and they are overall a really cool bunch. Haven, the piercer, once told me that I have very nice ears and I have been riding that ego boost for a while.

My experience getting a tattoo with Ryan Robinson / @speakingring yesterday was one of the best tattoo experiences I’ve had yet! I can’t wait to get more from Ryan. It makes me so glad to be able to get a great American Traditional Tattoo in Bangor! He was very polite, kind and talked to me about the history of American Traditional Tattooing. He has great flash to choose from as well as many books from all the greats! Can’t wait for next time Ryan!

Love Haven and will always recommend her! Always hypes you up and makes you feel as comfortable as you can be when about to get a piercing. I’ve gotten 16 piercings done by her now and I will continue to go back for more (even once I’ve moved back to Connecticut)

Wanted to try a new shop and it did not disappoint. I went to play their pinko game. Highly recommend if you are down for chance, they did let me pick my colors and the drawings are by the shops artists.My artist was Andrew and he was super friendly, made sure I felt comfortable, and straight forward as far as the service went. I enjoyed the company, been to shops where it isn’t always that way.On top of the great service the tattoo process was great, you got your own room that the artist did a great job decorating so you have a bunch to look at while getting your ink. He has a steady hand, offered breaks that I didn’t need he was great with depth and pressure so it was an enjoyable tattoo. I love how it came out and am already planning when I can get back.Side notes:I recommend you get there early. Due to their great work/environment they are busy and if your not patient keep that in mind and plan accordingly. I don’t mind a wait for a great shop like this though.Receptionist was super friendly and attentive to myself and other guests.Kid friendly saw many come in with parents to get their ears pierced.I will be back and bringing friends next time to get their ink too.

Got my tattoo done here in the fall. I did my research beforehand and picked my artist based on their portfolio and what I wanted done. I sent the artwork, was told it would be no problem, received my quote, sent the deposit, and waited the 14 weeks to get it done. When I arrived I was told the tattoo could not be made as small as I wanted it even though I told them the size I wanted when I sent my inquiry prior. If I had known before I got there - ideally before I paid the deposit - I wouldn’t have gotten it. The image I sent was a picture and I told them I wanted them to mirror it so the sides were symmetrical (they were a little distorted in the photo). I didn’t realize until after that the artist didn’t do that. They also did terrible line work: half the tattoo is really smooth, the other is more jagged; they didn’t follow the stencil and some lines are thicker than others; one part that’s supposed to be pointy is rounded; they also crossed over lines that weren’t supposed to intersect. They aren’t even like that in the reference I sent. And because the piece is so detailed, the artist had a hard time keeping spacing in between some of the lines so they’re touching. Ultimately it felt like the artist was tired and rushing at the end of the day and now the tattoo my friend designed bothers me.I picked Diversified because of their reputation but because of the results I got I will be having this removed.

Had my forward helix pierced by Haven. I highly recommend her. She’s very good at what she does as well as being very knowledgeable. She puts you at ease while the piercing is being done. Great personality!!

My mom and I got our noses pierced for her bday. The shop is very clean, the peircer is kind, professional, and explained every step of the process for us along the way. She was able to answer all our questions, gave us great advice, and I LOVE that she does a punch card to earn a discounted piercing! 100/10 will go to her again.

Just got my tragus done today by my girl Haven, and cannot wait to go back for the other one now. I hate for this to sound like a bad review but its just not my cup of tea. This is only my experience . Im sure others have been successful and satisfied . This in no way reflects on the artists work . This review is on the formula that the tattoo studio uses . I get the impression that this place is a little big for its britches so to speak. I never even set foot into it. I was about to come in and see if I could get a consultation with an artist (I like to get to know the person thats about they permanently mark me). They filtered me through the website, had me upload pictures and inspiration as well as pictures of my body where the ink would go and made me pick an artist. I tried once with letting one of their artists pick (that was rejected because i didnt pick anyone). When I finally picked an artist I was rejected by that artist because thats not the kind of ink that they wanted to do (It wasnt anything freaky it was a cool anchor tattoo in the style of DaVincis man). Thats cool if you dont want to do that work but can an artist be recommended? All these conversations were done through emails. The human element was missing. Hey guys if thats working for you keep it up but, I tried three times and I just cant email without meeting. This isnt fast food. Good luck

I got an Industrial piercing done by Haven and it was a very pleasant experience. She was warm and welcoming, her room had an amazing aesthetic, and she was very considerate and forthcoming about the piercing process. I will definitely get more piercings done here. I will also recommend to other people looking to get piercings done to come here.

This place was INSANE. The artist I was supposed to be working with was late to my own appointment. They made me wait for two hours and even tried to say we should reschedule. And then- you won’t believe it- tried to change the design and get mad at me for it? Not to mention, WAYYYY overpriced. It was just the line art, and not even original or edited/ drawn up art. That is so crazy to me. Do NOT go here!!!!!!!!!! I should have known when someone warned me when I mentioned it. They said that the quality of the products being used was trash. I should have believed them. Now not only am I stuck with this disgusting thing, but I think it gave me a REACTION. Whatever happens to me, you are getting sued. Have a terrible day. And anyone thinking of coming here, SAVE YOURSELF!

So amazing! I got my third tattoo from Liz that was a part of their Halloween Flash Event. They’re always so welcoming and do a great job. They were also the place I got my other tattoos and they are efficient and the paper work is easy to fill out as long as you have your id. Again, they’re a great place to get tattoos!! 10/10 experience everytime!

Had a great experience with Olivia. The wait was close to 3 months, but its absolutely because of the quality. I shared some reference photos and Olivia drew up a tattoo that encompassed everything I wanted and looked better than I could have thought. The entire shop was very comfortable, but it was nice having a completely private room to get tattooed in. Even though this wasnt my first tattoo Olivia described everything to me so that we were on exactly the same page. Olivia made sure comfortable through the whole process and truth be told I barely felt a thing. My tattoo looks amazing and I will definitely be back again in the future.

Got a tragus piercing with Haven. She was SO awesome. The place was immaculate and smelled as sanitary as it looked. I was super impressed and I live in the heart of NYC where I can walk into a place anywhere. Was visiting a friend and am so glad I went to Diversified Ink. Maybe next time, a tattoo 😁

Lazy, unless you want to do 100% of the work none of these “artists” will tattoo you. They put out different rates but they won’t do any tattoo’s unless you do all of work, so if you don’t have a 100% stencil done don’t waste your time or money with these lazy “artists” (artists term doesn’t apply to any of the tattooist here you need to do the work) no one in this parlor deserves a dime. Honestly any 5 star review is a lie, they did my first but they will never see me again.

Went and got my septum pierced and it was such a great experience. Everyone I interacted with was super sweet and kind. Made me feel welcomed from the moment I stepped through the door. I would highly recommend and I will definitely be going back for future piercings/ tattoos 😊

I got a tattoo from Leah and I had a wonderful experience. She made me feel comfortable about being able to redo the stencil until I was happy with it, and she also did an amazing job. I didn’t feel pressured or rushed at all during my time there, and my tattoo looks great! The building overall is also very clean and professional, while also feeling homey in the tattoo room. Best tattoo shop in town!

I stopped by yesterday to get my septum and two helix piercings. I’ve had my septum done before at another shop but it was pierced wrong. So I was very nervous about having it redone, but the piercer here was amazing! She was very professional and kind. She also did amazing with my piercings so I give her a 10/10 I would recommend.

My tattoo was done by Leah Christine. She did an amazing job, I LOVE my new tattoo. She is an awesome person, great personality, who kept convo flowing and made it feel like I was there for 2 minutes. The pricing was even great. The staff was nice and they got me in, in no time! Overall very, very pleased and will be going back for more in the future.

I got an eyebrow piercing from Haven. It couldnt have gone better. She was completely professional, really friendly and reassuring, and it looks great. The pain was fairly minimal, both in degree and length of duration. I would recommend her highly. I drove all the way from Machias to get pierced by Haven because she has such a stellar reputation and it is well-earned!

My husband and I got tattoos by Andrew and it was the best experience ever!! I have several tattoos but this was my husbands first professionally done one. Andrew was so kind and helpful! Had two piercings switched out by Haven and she was absolutely fantastic! Super personable, kind, humorous, and provided me expert knowledge on the best size for what I was looking for. Enjoyed the visit and will definitely be returning to see Haven soon!

I had a tattoo done here in 2013 and I never went back. I wanted the tattoo u see without the blocky petals. And I wanted black shaded twigs and red blossoms. I got pink blossoms and brown twigs and yellow middles. And if u zoom in u can see where it was severely overlined and was super painful in those areas. The guy had basically no idea what he was doing and I hate this tattoo. Pic is what it looks like today. Gross

Haven was incredibly kind, patient, and professional with our 8-year-olds ear piercing. She was careful to talk through each step and made sure our daughter was ready and comfortable throughout the quick process. Amazing experience!

Had my consult at Diversified Ink. The atmosphere was comfortable and even though I’ve never gotten a tattoo before, I didn’t feel out of place. I went to Diversified ink recently this year to get some work done and had the great pleasure in working with Jason Drake. I had an idea I wanted to do and he quoted me a price for a full day. I agreed and paid money down for the appointment that was about a month away. A few weeks after scheduling the visit I ran into some finical issues and schedule a consultation with Jason to inform him of my money struggle.During that consultation Jason looked over the idea and explained how excited he was to work on it and was willing to work with me on the price and time spent on it to make it happen. I was able to get the tattoo I wanted at a price I could afford.I will def be coming back to Jason for more tattoos. The staff is friendly, the building is very nice and above all ells they are professional and they work with you.

Update: I didnt know better and they used studs that were too small for the piercing and they got so infected that one of the 3 piercings I got was swallowed by my ear. I followed after care instructions to the letter. Having that piercing removed was one of the most painful experiences of my life.Really efficient and clean. They took the time to make sure my piercings were exactly how I wanted them, and throughly explained the aftercare. Im definitely going back for my next piercing.

My daughter received her septum piercing here back in May. Unfortunately her ball fell out so I called this place whitin the day so they could put another one in before it closed. Was so hard to reach someone and when I finally did and explained what happened they basically said sorry let it heal and come back couple months. I made another appt 2 weeks ago for new years eve I live 2 hours away they messaged me 3 hours before my appt to cancel which I had already left.

Everyone here was extremely nice and prices were great. My tattoo came out perfect!! Better than I could have imagined. I have nothing but good things to say about this place and have already recommended it to 3 people. Thank you Madison for tattooing me.

Went in diversified ink yesterday to start on my cover up. Jason Drake was my artist. Bar none it was the best experience I have had in a tattoo shop. I like the shop set up (private rooms) and the laid back environment created by the staff. I spent seven hours with Jason. He is a fellow horror film buff and we spent most of the day geeking out on movies. Aside from doing phenomenal work Jason is just a good person to talk to. He made a potentially long and painful day enjoyable. I am anxious to finish up with him in September. Go see Jason folks, you wont be disappointed!

I got my piercings done here and I was honestly a little scared. Haven and the other people there made me feel better about the whole situation. They were all very friendly and the atmosphere in the studio was great.

I’m on tattoo number 12 with Jason. Will never use anyone other then Jay barring him deciding not to tattoo anymore. As a testament to how good Jay is at his craft, I entered a contest at the last Devils Half Acre tattoo expo in Bangor and the work Jay did earned us both an award. I can honestly say that with as much time as I’ve spent with Jason he has become a friend. I trust him 100%, when I have an idea for what I want he takes it and makes it work, makes changes to make sure it comes out perfect, every time.

Although I have not gotten a tattoo here yet, the work I have seen has been exceptional. The artists have a wide variety of tattoos on display, or you can create your own with them if you wish. There most likely will be a waiting period, so if you are planning on getting a new tattoo, make arrangements sooner (close to four or five months for some artists) rather than later.

I got a tattoo here last week with Leah and I was so impressed with everything! I thought about getting a tattoo for over 4 years but could never get the courage up to go. Jason at Diversified Ink immediately made me feel welcome and his excitement for my tattoo helped me relax. When I walked into Diversified Ink, I was amazed by the cleanliness and layout. I laughed at the number of times Jason changed gloves. I work in a research lab and his clean technique is to the textbook. I am amazed at how much I love my tattoo!

Haven is SUCH a wealth of knowledge, and so personable. She makes piercings as painless as they can be, and she was literally a surg tech prior to becoming a badass.The shop is super clean and organized too.

I got my septum pierced just fine and healed quick and easy. I had my vertical labret done on the same appointment and it was placed not where I wanted and crooked. The top was placed too far back and ended up chipping my teeth. Ive had so many problems with it.

Christopher Drew is a fantastic artist .. Very professional and fast.. enjoyed the conversations. Shop was clean.. my piece took 4.5 hours. Not happy with the fact i was told my piece was done and that touch ups are free. Then month later i was ready for touch up and told it was $300 cause it was not done all of a sudden.

Jason recreated the Mark of Cain from the show Supernatural for me and it came out awesome! He got it to resemble the scar look it has in the show and its so cool. Its only a few hours old at the moment but Ive gotten other tattoos from Diversified and they are my go to tattoo shop!

In my past experience, when you go to a consultation the artist usually has at least one design ready to show you, and you can work together to change it if needed. Not the case here. I also found the artist fairly aloof and difficult to communicate with. So I basically paid $90 to chat with someone for 15 minutes.

Very professional and friendly. They have a good system worked out for covid requirements. Went for a tattoo consultation. You do have to schedule an appt. Lobby area was very clean and inviting. Cannot wait to get my tatto here.

Despite a fear of needles, I decided to get my ears pierced. If needles did a good thing, it might help decrease my discomfort. After examining the two methods of ear piercings, researching, and getting recommendations from friends, I chose Diversified Ink. They choose the healthier of the two procedures (regular needles instead of the piercing gun) and have a strong emphasis on health and santitation. I watched a family member have it done. It was very professional and the staff seemed friendly. They even had a complimentary coffee station for waiting clients(yay!)But, as with some businesses, there were cons that led me elsewhere. Piercings are done by walk in only. So I went to Diversidied for my piercing. The piercer wasnt in. I shrugged and did something else in town with the friends I invited for the post piercing celebration. Things happen, I get it. I chose another day and re-invited my friends. This time, just to be sure, I called ahead a few hours in advance to ask if the piercer was in. She was said to be in. Great! So I met my friends in town and off we went to Diversified, only to find a sign on the door saying the piercer wasnt in.Again, things happen and I get it. But time is precious, so I went to Claires instead. Diversified Ink is a good place for tattoos and piercings, but it could be better if piercings were done by appointment (like their tattos) and if they had more than one person doing the piercing. If I get more than one set of piercings(not likely at the moment) Id be happy to consider their services again.

Requested a quote and appointment through their website. Auto response said they would reply in 24 hours. 5 days later when I hadnt heard from them I called. Set an appt for a consult, arrived 10 minutes early and was told the artist left for the day and they needed to reschedule. A call to save me a trip would have been appreciated. I wont be getting my work done there.

I got my nose pierced here and when I was having it done, the almost everyone in the building was coughing and sniffling including the piercer. My piercing fell out before it was healed (my fault) and I followed the piercers instructions by putting in an earing stud and calling them to make an appointment to have her take a look at it. I called and they told me she doesnt take appointments and wouldnt be in until Friday (this was a wednesday). I asked how long she would be in on Friday since I have school. I was told 5:30pm. I went in on Friday at 4 and they told me she was gone already and that I needed to come back the next day. I understand having set hours, but why tell me the wrong time?

Be very wary of this place. For one of my first piercings, I had a belly button piercing done here by Candy. It had severe problems only a few days in. I went in to find the piercers only work a few days out of the week. By the time I made it to the shop when a piercer was there my new piercing was majorly infected. Turns out, she had pierced me with nickel plated crappy hoop jewelry in 16 gauge. B switched out my jewelry for a diffrent hoop. Then B asked what else I had pierced, I told B my nipples. B asked to see so I showed them. B proceeded to then make fun of my nipples. Extremely UNprofessional!Not sure about their tattoo artists, never bothered with them after seeing multiple awful tattoos on friends.

Very nice people, but slightly cheap. I had a tattoo done on my hand and it ended up fading very quickly ( which was expected) but i knew it would require a touch up. The small two letter tattoo originally costed me 80$, which i found was very expensive for such a small piece. They later charged me half the price of the tat for a touch up; 40$. Most people get touch ups for free and i thought that it was slightly un-professional that they charged me for a touch up.

Great place, clean, very professional. I was very impressed. Most tattoo parlors are seedy and just uncomfortable if youre not completely covered in tats you feel out of place. Id call this the gentlemans tattoo place.

Piercer was impatient, impolite and borderline hostile toward my friend. When I went back in to retrieve something after leaving the staff awkwardly informed me that they had undercharged us and would we please come back so they could charge us more. I had a very unprofessional experience here. Would not recommend it for piercings, not sure about their tattoo service.

I called last week to be sure of the hours I could go in and get a piercing. I finally find a day that I can go in to get it done and I arrive an hour and a half before piercings close and am told that I cant get it done because she doesnt want to take anymore. Not to mention the desk service was far from polite. Im sure the artists there are great but customer service was subpar.

Ive tried for a week (3 times spacifically) to get a piercing. They only have one piecer in 3 times a week. She leaves early and doesnt stay if you calling in advance.
