Ive gotten 3 pieces done by SamBlue. Shes fabulous. Im planning on seeing here mid May again. Also got a nose piercing and second holes reopened. Getting a helix piercing next week

Love House of Colour!Dean and Nick are absolutely amazing and super patient. The young lady who greets you when you first walk in is so friendly!I’ve gotten my daith, flat, 3 chest dermals, rook and conch at this shop. All of my piercings are healing wonderfully. No complications, no infections or irritations. 0 concerns. The healing mist spray that is sold at the shop worked wonders!Highly recommend!

I’ve been going three weeks in a row and I’m going again this week to get additional ear piercings! Dean is great and patient. I love his input and he doesn’t push you to get multiple piercings. He listens to you.

I went to House of Colour for this first time this past week. We walked in and were greeted by a very sweet, smiling, and helpful front desk person (sorry I didn’t get her name. She has dark curly hair). Filled the paperwork on my phone using a simple QR code and waited just a short time before it was time to go in. The piercer Dean was very friendly and helped me choose what and where (cartilage piercing - don’t get crazy now! 😂). He has a very soothing, comforting tone- perfect to put you at ease and answer any questions. The piercing was done in no time. I would absolutely come back again, and will refer anyone to House of Colour and Dean for piercing. Thanks!

Got my first tattoo here with Brittany, she did an incredible job! We decided on a velvet worm, came out better than I couldve imagined! Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, clean workspace, and amazing work. Healed really nicely, came back to get my next tattoo and loved it just as much, will definitely be back for more! Would definitely recommend coming here to anyone.

It wasnt until i went to another piercing place that I realized how much i dislike it here. they’ve given me advice that every other piercer i have talked to has told me was incorrect and not in my best interest

Amazing!! just had my tattoo done by Brittany she did amazing and i’m in love!!! she made sure i got something i absolutely love and drew out a ton of different things so i’m very sure of what i want!!! also had my tragus and belly button pierced by dean also amazing!!! anytime i go in with any questions about anything they always have the answers for them.

Had my daughter’s ears pierced here. It was a great experience. The person who helped us was quick and made my daughter feel comfortable. It was very affordable too.

I was totally pleased and happy with my experience at House of Colour. Tara was my tattoo artist and it was obvious that she spent a lot of time designing and planning my tattoo. She created my vision exactly as I pictured it. She was gentle and kind in executing my tattoo. The parlour itself is clean, friendly and the music was great too. I highly recommend House of Colour.

My piercing healed beautifully!I went back 2 weeks later to down size and get my conch and flat pierced (Nicholas did it) and he was gentle and informative as well. Helped me choose my jewelry and I’m ecstatic on how gorgeous my piercings look!Thank you both and the wonder receptionist (didn’t get her name, just know she was new 😆) 💛🙏🏻

I got my nipples pierced by Dean. He was extremely kind and made sure I felt comfortable and had to deal with as little pain as possible. I sit horribly for piercings and tattoos, but Dean made this experience a lot easier than I thought it would be. He’s fantastic, and super down to earth!

I have had multiple piercings done by Nick, he is the best! Super friendly people, really clean facility, and the best jewelry selection that I’ve ever seen at a piercing shop. Love that you can just walk in, there’s usually no wait but if there is it’s never more than a few minutes. The BEST place to get pierced on LI!

Allen was awesome. Very detail oriented, very accommodating. Did a king and queen chess PCs for my wife and I , and we love em. Very clean shop, very nice staff. We planned our tattoos w the staff from Va Bch Va for our LI trip. All in all very happy customers and will plan another next time in LI.

I’ve always been terrified of needles, so originally coming in I was already on edge LOL but Dean made me feel SO comfortable. He is so quick, efficient, clean.. by far the best piercer I’ve ever come in contact with. I originally came in with my first & second hole already pierced, and in the matter of maybe 2 months, I now have a double cartilage, Tragus, third hole, and planning my Daith as soon as my most recent one heals😂 Thank you to Dean & his extremely sweet receptionist, who is so patient & literally went from comforting me as a friend, to helping pick out the cutest jewelry & just so knowledgeable along the way, for completely changing my mindset on body art & piercings in general. I couldnt be happier to have found House of Color. I got pierced elsewhere in April and had a horrendous experience; my ear was infected, swollen, red, and throbbing for 3 months. A close friend recommended HOC to me and I can honestly say, they are absolutely incredible and the piercer, Dean, saved my life! After meeting Dean for only a few seconds, he told me IMMEDIATELY I should have never been pierced with gold. He took the time to explain why and what we can do going forward. After the first visit when he switched out my gold piercing for titanium, my ear felt better almost instantaneously. The throbbing went away a couple of hours after seeing Dean and he gave me personal care and attention and a new routine to help heal my piercing. I met Dean 4 weeks ago and have seen him 3x to help my piercing. Dean is not only always caring to my needs, but he informs me with his experience and wide range of knowledge. He is very patient, kind, and genuine. He answers all of my questions willingly and is never condescending. Hes an amazing piercer and person. I cant wait to go back and get more piercings from an establishment I trust. I HIGHLY recommend this place to EVERYONE.

Nicholas was awesome, he was friendly and nice. He took his time with my piercings and suggested something I never would have thought of which I loved. He also fixed an old piercing too. Will definitely be coming back to him for all of my future piercings:)

Just got my very first tattoo today and the process was so smooth from start to finish! Allen was my artist and he’s the absolute coolest - he’s very kind, chill, patient and listens to all your needs, ideas, and concerns. I’m definitely coming back to him for more tattoos very soon!

Dean recently pierced my 8 month old daughter’s ears & the experience was seamless! He explained in detail the entire process from sterilization to piercing to aftercare. I highly recommend!

Unfortunate L.they were nice but definitely lacked . got my tragus pierced and went back three times since then. most recent visit was 48 hours ago when i went in for the removal of the piercing jewelry. my piercer convinced me to keep it in & changed my jewelry to a smaller one. 48 hours later my skin grows over the new jewelry and i have to get it surgically removed tomorrow morning. my piercer mentioned he has cut jewelry out of patients before, which makes me wonder if he’s qualified ? no hate to my piercer he was really cool, just unfortunately made things way worse. i know they can’t expect something like this, but i wish they would’ve recommended better healing methods (like crushed up aspirin) rather than chamomile tea. i get piercings frequently and this hasn’t happened before. just frustrating is all. my friends have gotten piercings here and a repeating issue (as i see from other reviews) is the continuous wrong jewlery being used. i wish i went somewhere else because a $40 piercing just turned into so much more :/

Sam is amazing. I booked a tattoo with Sam and gave her examples of what I wanted. She used my examples and incorporated what I wanted into my piece. I can truly say it exceeded my expectations!

My original piercings from when I was a baby were lopsided and too high to be a first piercing. I never wore studs because of this but always wished I could. I sat in the chair and as soon as Dean looked at my ears, he knew what to do. He gave me a piercing underneath the original and my original holes became “second holes” I finally love my ears!! Thank you Dean!!

I can’t say enough positive things about House of Colour, especially Sam Blue. Always so considerate, sweet, artistic and never steers you the wrong way. She completed my entire left sleeve and I cannot tell you how many compliments I am told, daily. I also had gotten my traegus pierced at another piercing studio months prior, my earring fell out, Dean the piercer welcomed me right back and put my earring back in. At no charge. I will never go anywhere else for piercings or tattoos. Great work guys and can’t wait to come back!

I just had two tattoos redone and color by Samantha. She did an amazing job. Been going here for over a decade for my piercings! I will always highly recommend House of Colour. Dean was my piercer & he eased my anxiety almost immediately!

I’ve only ever gone here during flash sales. I’ve gotten piercings done by both Nick and Dean. I’ve been completely happy with my piercings by Nick. When I get pierced by Dean, the piercings are either reject or are crooked. I got my smiley pierced by Dean and the piercing was so crooked that it went into my gums instead of the frenulum and the ball of the horseshoe had embedded into my gums between my two front teeth. Also, It was placed so far up that you couldn’t even see the jewelry when I smiled. My belly button piercing was also crooked and got excruciatingly infected. It’s a year later and I still have a penny sized scar on my stomach. Lastly, I also have a crooked vertical labret that has completely healed. It’s not as noticeable as the others so I allowed it to heal and decided to keep it. Originally, I had my smiley done by Nick and it was beautiful and it healed beautifully. It ended up closing because the jewelry fell out and I couldn’t replace it in time. I’ve also had a friend receive a flash tattoo here with no issues at all! I like going here because of their flash sales but will not be getting pierced by Dean again.

I called them on the phone to ask about I would need for a piercing. I’m under 18 so I would need a parent or guardian I came in with my guardian and they were extremely disrespectful and gave me a lot of attitude even though the day before they pierced my sister with no issue and she is 17

Dean did an awesome job on repiercing my nose piercing. He did everything so quickly and as painless as possible. He was also super kind and informative. He let me know how to properly take care of the new piercing and what to expect since it’s a piercing through scar tissue. He was super awesome, I definitely will be coming back to him for any other piercings. Thank you so much!! 😊

Today is my daughters birthday and she went and had a few piercings done at House of Colour. We did our due diligence and researched local shops as these piercings are not standard. Not to mention my daughter had a very bad experience about 2 years ago when someone who was obviously not experienced or knowledgeable performed a. horizontal tongue ring and pierced it incorrectly. In turn her tongue rejected the piercing and the bar fell out. A few places we called didnt even pick up the phone despite the business showing as , open. One place that did call back kind of freaked us out as they said they only do piercings from 10pm to 1am despite their business hours showing otherwise. I know how much my daughter wanted these tattoos for her birthday and she called House of Colour and they told her she could just walk in. My daughter was extremely pleased and satisfied. Dean performed the piercings and she said he was very professional, knowledgeable, polite and caring. She couldnt stop raving about how clean and meticulous it was inside of the shop and that tells me a lot about a business. She would have written the review herself but she knows I love writing reviews and love to tell others when a business is good or bad. House of Colour is amazing and so was Dean. Thank you for not disappointing my daughter on her birthday. P.S we live literally around the corner so this will be our go to spot.

I have a lot of positive experience with House of Colour.Ive been going here since like 2011 when I got my eyebrow pierced for the first time (had to get it taken out before I went to Marine Corps boot camp), and then again in 2022.Ive gotten one piercing done by Dean, and two done by Nick. Both went super well. Id trust either of them with anything.Jordan at the front desk is super nice and sweet.Ive gotten three tattoos done by Sam Blue, one in 2014 and two in 2022 and theyre absolutely my favorite tattoos. My favorite tattoo shop for sure.

I got a double helix piercing on both ears by Dean! The whole process was super quick. I am a minor so my parents weren’t too thrilled with my being in a tattoo shop. But the place was super clean, not loud, and not as scary as I thought it would be. Dean was super professional, nice, and fast. I also did lots of research and House Of Colour had the best prices out there! I highly recommend checking them out! 5 stars!!!

I saw Ann Marie who did permanent tattoo eyebrows and they looked amazing! I am so excited and obsessed with my new look! No more penciling in my eyebrows every day! Highly recommended! The place is very clean and she took the time to explain everything and go over my new look to make sure I was happy with the outcome.

Everything there is amazing. The piercers have cute personalized rooms and they’re all great piercers. Dani did my nose piercing and my third holes and with each piercing he made sure I was ready/comfortable. Unfortunately Dani isn’t there anymore, but I also had Dean do my second holes, my double helix and he changed my nose piercing a few times. Dean is such a great guy and he is super educated about his craft!! Each piercing Ive gotten done by him he reassured me about the pain scale, showed me how to clean it and made sure I was ready to be pierced. He knows a lot about his craft and I’m happy to get my piercings done by him. House of Color is a 10/10 and I 100% recommend going there.

I came in for a triple helix piercing, and it was done by Nick. He is Dean’s apprentice. Let me just say what a amazing piercer! He’s got a bright future ahead of him. I was a bit nervous getting 3 piercings done at once but Nick did a great job at calming my nerves. And my piercings came out so beautiful. I love them!

Dean was great! We waited under an hour during the Halloween sale (we were told maybe a 2 hour wait) so that was great! My piercing was done quick and easy! Piercing is looking great the next day! Can’t wait to see it healed thank you:-) will be coming back

I have gone here for many services, both tattoos and piercings. Tara did a sunflower piece on my arm that is so important to me. She did a fantastic job. Dean did a conch and earlobe piercing for me yesterday, and I am so happy with how it came out. I have had multiple piercings done with him, and I will not use any other piercer besides him. 5/5 stars always recommend!

Love everything about the people here! Jordan the front desk girl is a total sweetheart! Dean did my cheek piercings and he did a great job! They were even, and he was super sweet and knowledgeable with follow up! He was super patient and let me pop in a couple times to look at my piercing and make sure they were doing okay (I was super anxious because theyre holes on my face!).Sam did a portrait of my pupper and she did all the line work and almost half of the color in one sitting! Her color is super pretty, and her lines really clean!💕

See Dean for all of your piercing needs! He pierced me earlier today as a walk in and he made me feel super comfortable throughout the entire process. He listened to my concerns about scar tissue from previously being pierced and let me know he had a method to make sure it did not hurt as much as I thought it would! He let me know what he was doing before he did it and he was quick, but thorough. I will definitely be coming back to him for future piercings!

Walked in to get a cartilage piercing it was quick easy and affordable. prices are more then reasonable and there was a great selection for jewelry.

Went in for a nose piercing the whole process was easy and quick, place was very clean very friendly and very professional. Dean was awesome I was comfortable even thought it was my first time piercing my nose. Loved it definitely coming back for more !

I’ve been thinking of coming to this place for over a month. So I was excited. When I did I was told that I couldn’t get the industrial piercing that I wanted because of the anatomy of my ear. Dean took the time to inform me and be upfront and honest which I appreciate. I got my tragus pierced then and it went very smooth. I didn’t even notice when it was done. I liked how swift and painless the piercing was done. I become anxious in places like these so my mind goes blank so I really didn’t notice it then. But once I got home and was cleaning the fresh piercing. I scooped up chunks of dried blood crusts inside my ear and behind the tragus. I realized that my ear wasn’t wiped with an alcohol swab after or even before the piercing was done. The lack of cleaning was a bit disappointing. I was planning on getting many of my piercings done here but will probably just get my other tragus done.

Dean did my nose piercing March 1st and I swear Dean he will be forever be the person I go to. I was crazy nervous. I told him I had a bad experience with another piercing I had and it never healed and he had told me the reason why it never healed. I am very happy I listened to him. My piercing has healed so well I had no infections, no swellings, literally nothing! Thank you Dean!! I will be coming in soon for an industrial piercing

Very busy place for piercings. Brought my 14yr old for a nose piercing and it was about 45min from when we arrived, signed the consent forms, got the piercing and paid. Very clean, educated, patient and friendly. Definitely recommend for piercings.

Had a great experience both times I came in! Super clean, really nice, and great piercers. I was originally pierced by Kaylie who did such a great job it was almost painless! I then had an incident a week later where my earring was pulled through my ear through the back by my mask and when I called, kinda panicked, Dean was working and was so willing to repierce me with a larger stud so it wouldn’t happen again, free of charge. 10/10 recommend and will definitely be going back!

Wanted to get my septum pierced so Halloween night I went down to house of colour and did it. Dean was my piercer and he is by far the best. I have many piercings and I can say he blows most people away. He was professional, super friendly, clean and very quick. My piercing looks perfect. I highly recommend anyone to go see him for their piercings.

From the first second I walked in, the hostess was super nice & got me all set up. I had my nostril pierced by Nick about 2 months ago, who was awesome. Then, while horsing around with my son a month after it healed, got hit & ended with a bloody piercing.Since I didnt know what to do, I went back to HOC where Dean helped me remove excess dead skins around the piercing & clean it. He also suggested what I should do to heal it properly & faster.This wasnt my first piercing but it was the first time that a shop actually took their time to help out with trauma, even 2 months after the fact & i couldnt be any happier.Those guys are true pros at what they do & i highly recommend HOC for the job! They rock!!!!

I got both my helix and nose piercing done by Dean. He was very quick with it, that for me I didn’t really feel it. It also was very clean. Afterwards he explained everything concerning the aftercare really making sure that I understood. I recommend coming here.

Got my septum done as a walk-in within 10 minutes of walking through the door. Everyone is chill and helpful. Highly recommend for piercings. Placement is great and the piercing itself wasnt very painful at all.

Dean was very chill and laidback, and patient. I had not gotten a piercing since I was in elementary school and was a little nervous but I felt very comfortable and ended up getting a forward helix and a regular helix. Both are beautiful and once I get over the pain, I will definitely be back! Both my friend and I were walk ins and we were both in and out in a good amount of time, especially considering how busy it was due to the halloween sale.

**Piercing:Got pierced for my 3rd hole with Nicholas! He did an awesome job. He took his time to make sure that the piercings were spaced out right (unlike the first 2 I got done at another shop so it meant a lot). I came in as a walk-in and he was super quick, informative, and the process was painless. Both my sister (lip piercing) and cousin (belly piercing) also came to this shop recently and have had no problems. 10/10 Nicholas 👍

I had gone in over a week ago for a piercing and ear curation. For the curation the piercer (Dean) did an excellent job and would definitely recommend him if you wanted to swap out jewelry and create a more cohesive look.In terms of the piercing however I spent the better part of the week in pain (Ive had multiple piercings over the years and this wasnt ever an issue). Today I went somewhere else to have it looked out. First the piercing was done crooked (it happens I get it) second the wrong jewelry was used (a clicker instead of a captive bead hoop) which was aiding in the discomfort, third the hoop itself was to small which also was adding to the discomfort and finally the piercing was too shallow veering into the flat of my ear. Needless to say the piercing was removed and it was also recommended that I dont try to re-pierce this spot in the future as I dont have at anatomy for it. Mind you this was my initial concern when I went for the piercing in the first place but was told if I want it there is no reason why he cant pierce it.I honestly waffled on giving this review two stars because of his ability to help stylize a look but then I factored in discomfort and the fact that I needed to remove a piercing.

Went to get my septum pierced and was very happy with the results! They professionalism was through the roof as well as the friendliness of the staff. My piercer was Dean and again so professional and friendly! Amazing experience! Clean, respectful, creative. I’ve gotten fifteen piercing from both Dean and Sean, and so far tattooed by two artists and one apprentice. They have never steered me wrong and always did what was best.

Got my first tattoo by an awesome chick named AnneMarie! She was soooo patient with me. And when I say patient, I really mean it! She let me ask her a thousand and one questions, described everything that I would feel and experience and gave me short breaks during our session. She was so sweet and understanding that I was nervous and a little scared. I definitely DO NOT regret getting my first tattoo and when Im ready for my next work of art, I know who Im going to call! Oh, also, the shop is nice, clean and definitely working hard to keep their customers and staff safe from Covid while making customers still feel comfortable and welcomed. I am extremely disappointed by the service my sister and I experienced this afternoon. After seeing previous reviews, I was eager for us to get a tattoo but after my experience today... I AM REPULSED by this shop. They did not create a comfortable environment for someone getting a tattoo for the first time. Their workers (Brittany, Victoria Scuderi, and Nicholas Silva) to be exact lacked professionalism and did not make this an enjoyable sisterly moment for my younger sister and I. House of Colour- you need to hire better employees!

Saw Dean for dermal piercings, overall experience was great. Clean environment, friendly and knowledgeable staff.

I’ve been coming to House of Colour since my 18th birthday, I’m now 23. I’ve gone for many of my tattoos here, but as of recently I have been coming for Anne Marie. I have wanted tooth gems for a while but never knew of anyone who was doing them. I am so glad I found Anne Marie! She is super knowledgeable, friendly, professional, CLEAN & INFORMATIVE!!! I was a little nervous going in, but she reassured me it is a painless process. She helped me plan what I wanted to do & it came out even more amazing than I had anticipated. A few months down the line I had lost a gem, & since it was before 6 months she replaced it for free! She is such a sweetheart & does beautiful work, she takes her time, & everything is precise! I highly recommend Anne Marie, she is awesome!

Piercer was a really nice and professional guy. I took my family to get their ear pierced and he did a good job. If a minor is getting ear pierced you will need birth certificate and the child school i.d. Maybe I can help someone save a trip I had to leave and get that for them. Wish they wouldve told me that over the phone before driving all the way to them to go back home to drive back 😒 other than that its a professional tattoo shop 👍

Dean did a great job on my helix piercing and my daughters third hole ear piercings.Though it was quick we didnt feel rushed and Dean explained everything in great detail! Will definitely recommend and return to Dean for any future piercings!

This place messed up all three of my piercings. the septum was pierced straight through my cartilage, and was incredibly painful. it eventually healed, but the healing process was brutal since it had to heal through the cartilage. the eyebrow and belly button piercings rejected very fast, even with proper cleaning. i don’t recommend this place :3

House of Colour is a great tattoo shop. There is so much personality between the employees and the decor in the rooms. There prices are great, affordable. The environment alone is fun and the artists are even funnier. Its comfortable.Galgano did me and my cousins piercing. He is great and super friendly. What I like about him is that he is very knowledgeable about his craft and piercings. He thoroughly explained what we were getting, the risks, how to care for it, further explained to me why certain piercings tend to bleed more. Thats what I appreciate in an artist.

Ive gone here for all three of my piercings, all done by Dani and hes always great. Ill be freaking out and hell be mega calm, which I appreciate it. I hear Fernando is great too but Ive never gotten pierced by him. Their prices are also very reasonable compared to other shops, I think they charge $30 for basic piercings but dont quote me.

I got tattooed by Sam. She was very friendly and professional. The shop is extremely clean. Sam was periodically checking in with me while tattooing to make sure I was doing well and has been there to answer all my aftercare questions. I would definitely recommend getting a tattoo here and recommend Sam if you want a really colorful watercolor piece.

I should’ve came here first to get my nose pierced! I got my nose done at another tattoo/piercing place and they gave me a corkscrew piercing which did not work for me. I knew I needed a different type of jewelry and went to two other places that basically told me I was wrong and that I need to remove my piercing because of the small irritation bump I couldnt get rid of. I knew that was not the case and so I called HOC and asked if they can check it out. The piercer I saw (I cant remember who saw me, I apologize!) immediately said that no one should be piercing with the type of jewelry I received due to the exact issues I was having. He immediately changed it to the threadless type piercing I knew I needed to change to. He was so kind and made me feel safe and didn’t gaslight me like the other places I went to did. Its only been two days since I got the jewelry changed and the irritation bump I’ve had since august went away 98% of the way already, any swelling I had is completely gone, the redness I had is completely gone, and the jewelry stopped sinking into the piercing itself. I will be coming to house of color from now on for any other piercings I want in the future. 10/10 recommend!

Great for piercings! My friend and I went in for helix piercings, and the girl who helped us was patient and helpful when we were trying to figure out placement. Piercing itself was quick and relatively painless. The girl working the front is also really nice! :)

Got my bridge and upper nostril piercings done by Dean. Hes so nice and I felt comfortable the whole time. I checked out his website and instagram and he has a huge and diverse portfolio. He answers any questions and his dms are always open. The receptionist Esther is super nice and makes sure youre comfortable.

I received a cosmetic eyebrows tattoo from Anne Marie Becker. She was extremely professional and knowledgeable. I have some bald patches in my eyebrows from nervous picking and you can no longer see them. I was hesitant at first because I never wear makeup and did not want it to look like I was wearing makeup. Anne Marie assured me that it would not look like it and she was right. My eyebrows look natural and full now. I highly recommend getting them from her and will recommend her to my friends.

I dont even know where to start with this review. Sam Blue came highly recommended from another artist that my fiance knows very well and we reached out. My mother passed away Christmas day and I wanted something special and pretty to honor her. As soon as I texted Sam, she responded immediately! Her and I went back and forth and explained my idea and told her I wanted things that my mom wrote to me in a card with watercolor and a cat (my mom has a beautiful Himalayan 😊) and she said she was booked but had some cancelation dates. I was fortunate enough to see her 1/12/22 and she was even able to squeeze my aunt in the day before because it was a smaller tattoo. The entire experience was amazing. My aunt LOVES her angel that Sam did and Im in love and obsessed with mine. She was able to transfer my mothers writing EXACTLY and Sams line work is FLAWLESS. The watercolor is absolutely gorgeous and the blending is breathtaking. I look at the tattoo and cry because its so absolutely perfect and she obviously cares about her art and it shows! She is a true professional and so unbelievably talented at her craft. The parlor is super clean, EVERYONE was so nice (dainty Eric was great 💜) and Sam has the best personality and so easy to talk to. All in all, the tattoo took about 2.5 hours but it flew by. I spoke to Sam the entire time and she calmed my nerves (I hate needles normally but my need for tattoos outweigh that LOL). I loved the whole experience and so proud and so delighted to have this represent my mom for the rest of my life. This encapsulated everything I wanted and more! Again, I cant thank Sam Blue and recommend her and House of Colour enough. She is a true artist and Im so happy with her beautiful work! Thank you again 💜

Very nice place been there long time ago but I went back for my nose and The piercer guy did amazing job with my nose. He’s very nice cool guy and I love the flower 🌸 pierce I purchased. Will go back later to buy the ring for my other side so it can match. Lol. Thank uu! ☺️

Ive been pierced by Dani at House of Colour three times. The first was a centered vertical tongue piercing, and the others were my venoms (vertical side tongue piercings, which were difficult to find a piercer for). The experience was about as painless as sticking a needle through your tongue can be, but very quick and clean. Dani is very confident and made me feel at ease as I was getting pierced. He made himself available to me through text for any questions I may have had or issues I may have experienced. All of my tongue piercings healed beautifully with no issues. I will definitely be coming back if I decide to get more piercings, or tattoos.

House of Color made every step of the process easy as heck!! Timing was prompt, paperwork was quick and easy, and everyone involved was pleasant. I was pierced by Kaylie and she was very good at reassuring me (I am absolutely terrified of needles). I will absolutely go back!

Dani is great! He Pierced my nose and most of my friends. He even knows what to do if someone passes out. My friend fainted and he got out the smelling salts. Everyone else who works here is good too. Very nice shop and clean. Everyone is also helpful if you arent sure about care of your tattoo or piercing.

Went in to get my microdermals changed. Can I just say Dean is amazing. I’ve never had my dermals changed without hurting. He is the first and only person to change them and not hurt me! He was kind, informative, and friendly. He’s my new dude. You need anything done in the piercing department, go see him!!!!

I got a lip tattoo and a tattoo on my inner bicep from AnneMarie! She did a great job and was more than happy to invite me back! The area she worked in was clean and organized, and I felt like one of the regulars in AnneMarie’s presence. The shop was busy, but everyone was still very accommodating. 5 out of 5 stars, every time!

Anne Marie did my permanent eyebrows and they came out absolutely amazing. You would NEVER know they are tattoos and I am constantly getting compliments. I cannot recommend her enough — do it now!

I went one day after school to get both of my daiths pierced, Dani did both of my piercings. After I got them I was very dizzy and came close to blacking out but he knew instantly and gave me starbursts to help. After an ammonia tablet and some rest I felt much better but as we were checking out I thought I was going to pass out again. Dani saw me teetering and instantly grabbed me and moved me back into the room to rest more. The workers we very nice and considerate and helpful. Thanks to all of them I now have two awesome piercings and one amazing story.

I needed a cover up done and Samantha Vail (Blue) was recommended to me. I was not disappointed. After listening to my wants and needs she was able to tailor design a gorgeous piece, that was not only able to perfectly cover my previous tattoo but exceed my expectations of what was possible. I am now on my fifth tattoo from Sam and I dont believe I could or would go anywhere else for a tattoo. House of Colour truly is the perfect name for the parlor as the pallet of personalities are just as colorful as the tattoos they create. Everyone I have met has tried to make me feel welcome and comfortable. I wish I could give this place less stars. I got two piercings from Dean a forward helix and a tragus. The tragus piercing ended up going backwards into my tragus a few days after getting it. So I went back to Dean and he put a plastic disk around the piercing to keep it from doing that and to help it heal.... so i thought. He told me originally that the disk only needed to stay on for a month. When I called back after a month to have it taken off it then turned into that it needed to stay on for 7 weeks. So I didnt argue I did that, after the 7 weeks I went back for a different reason and asked if it could be taken off after having it on for over two months. He tells me no because I still had keloids. Well now 6-7 months later I decided to go to a different shop to have it taken off because I was tired of looking at it. Turns out Dean pierced BOTH of my piercings wrong he did them too close to my head. There was no saving the tragus piercing at this point and my new piecer advised me it really needed to be taken out. This piercer explained that because of the placement of the piercing it would never heal correctly and that is why I have been having such a hard time with it. This new piercer also informed me that the disk Dean had put on was only supposed to be on FOR ONE WEEK and that if it needed to stay on longer a new disk would need to be put on every week!!!! Dean never told me this he told me to keep it on for months and months the same one without it being changed out!!!! So now on top of piercing me wrong he also left something on my piercing that was collecting bacteria and doing more harm than good! So I ended up wasting my time and money at this shop! At the end of all of this I no longer have the tragus piercing that I wanted so badly and now I have to wait for it to heal to now spend more money to have it re-pierced THE RIGHT WAY!!! All I can say is DONT EVER GO HERE! Clearly they have people putting holes in peoples bodies that have no idea what they are doing!

Just want to say Kaylie is amazing and super well-informed. She did my Tragus a while back and I have yet to have any complications with it. I stopped in a week ago to see if I could get my septum pierced (my nose is fairly crooked). She kindly let me know septum piercings tend to look different on everyone due to anatomy, but the piercing would look even for the most part. Sure enough, my septum looks fantastic after my initial swelling. Will go back to HOC Bayshore next time I want something done!

My friend and I come in all of the time to the point where Nick knows us🤣. We mostly try to go to Nick if he is around. He is very friendly and very straight forward. 100% recommend Nick for your ear services needs.

I’ve been trying to get an appointment for a tattoo for a while. Every one I have I’ve gotten here since I was 18. I’m now 30. I used to love this shop. I cannot get an answer from any tattoo artist to help me. I’ve reached out several times and no luck. It’s really disappointing. The old crew was so much better. Very unreliable now.Just and update! So I have gotten an appointment; I was so excited! She canceled on me a half hour before. Im sorry to let this place go.. please do better for your future customers.

I have been here many times and everyone is very clean and professional with their work. Dani is the best I ve seen when it comes to piercings and he recently started doing tats at the shop and he did a piece on my friend and its awesome and healed nicely. He also did my friends snake bites and those healed up nicely as well. I myself haven t got any piercings yet from here but I m looking to get one soon. I got a tattoo done here by Sam, who is female, back in October and it was beautifully done and healed great. Now I m looking to get another tattoo sometime this week by April because she did a pretty big back piece on my friends a couple weeks ago and it came out badass. I definitely recommend people to go here, all my friends go here because of me and I go here because of my brother. I personally recommend April or Dani because I ve seen there work first hand , but definitely go and look at everyone s book and make your decision.

Really disappointed in the quality of the piercings I’ve received here. I’ve definitely learned my lesson. I got a nose ring put in my already pierced nose I had for over a year and it was way too small. Dean left the ring with a gap in it that kept going inside the piercing hole and irritating it. Then, I went back and got my second nostril piercing and got my ring fixed to one that closed properly, but was still way too small for my nose and was dragging my piercing down on my nostril. I ended up having to lose the piercing all together because it was constantly getting infected and inflamed no matter what I did, and I have huge keloids on the inside and out of my nose. They don’t sterilize any of the jewelry with an autoclave before they pierce, which is terrifying. I’m new to piercings but now I know better than to go here. Do yourself and your body a favor and go somewhere else.

Very very over priced. A tatto that I expected to be 30$ was triple the price 😖 I have 7 other tattoos and was quite shocked. Im sure this is a great place for piercings but I wouldnt recommend getting a tattoo from here.

I had an appointment with Allen that was made with him directly. He was supposed to be drawing a tattoo for my deceased mother and adding something to an existing tattoo. I went in and left a deposit the next day. I got there today and he acted like i didnt have an appointment. Even after I showed him his text message of him confirming. I wouldve been fine with an oversight or a mistake but he seemed bothered that I was even there and the girl behind the counter was just as rude. I took my deposit back and walked right into live wire tatoo in west islip. Sat with Mike and he drew my tattoo on the spot and booked my appointment. Such a difference in professionalism.

Recently got my fourth piercing from here and itll be my last. The bar was too short - way too short. When I went back due to the swelling, three days later, and to bring up the concern about the bar seemingly to be too short I was told they didnt have bigger, it was a once size fits all bar for the piercing (which is bs, everyone swells differently). The swelling was normal and the piercing was irritated - use the H2Ocean once a day instead of twice. Five days after being pierced and I was going to someone else who told me the swelling, from the far too short bar, had caused an infection that was oozing in the back. Also, the backing was embedded into the piercing. There was no saving the piercing. The guy at the new place drained the infection, told me to get antibiotics from my doctor (which I did), and that the one who pierced me should have known the bar was too short and never used it, it also wasnt meant for the piercing Id gotten. I was also told that the other three piercings Id gotten from House of Color were all angled poorly and that was why their were healing slowly - it wasnt me. The jewelry, Invictus, was also losing its coating in my piercings - I got to see how the coating was coming off.So Im out the 60 dollars I paid for the piercing I lost due to the infection. Ill be looking to redo the ones I already have, so they arent crooked af, as well. Not happy but glad I know the truth, so I can fix things.

I got my navel pierced here by Dani and first off, he didnt use the right size needle and had to switch it half way through. Not to mention he also nicked me twice with the needle on the lower part of my stomach. I cleaned it twice a day with the sea salt I purchased from the store and a week later you could see a bump then it got infected. Im sure the other workers there know how to do their job, just not Dani lmao.

I’ve been to HOC multiple times for piercings and tattoos. Everyone at the shop is very polite and professional. They provided me and my family with excellent service. Highly recommend this business.

I got my double helix done here, and I love them the process was easy and clean and super quick I was done in like 10 min. I would definitely recommend coming here for your piercings.

Went there for my ear piercing... on the outside btw, which I figured they will use a gun because it will make more sense since it was on the outside but w.e. I asked for the stud instead of the hoop, all good.. until, I realized my piercing was still not healed, and this was about 4/5 weeks ago. So today!! I decided to take it out and switch it for a hoop that I bought. Long story short it was not healing because the stud that was put in my ear was a flat back, and it was digging into the piercing.. I also got my inner ear pierced as well, thats understandable for the needle. That also is not healed, better then the other one but not healed. So idk whats going on but idk if I will go back. Its the only place I know so far :(

A friend went here for tattoo. Gave 3 stars cause tat is great but was overpriced. He told person how much he had on him and that is what they charged. I talked to other tattoo places who told me no more then $250 and he was charged way more. It’s his own fault but i can see this place takes advantage of people.

Im an older customer and had the pleasure Im having Anne Marie do my upper and lower Permanent eyeliner I had the service done once before many years ago there was no comparison with a job that I received from Anne-Marie she is an exceptional artist very patient very professional she took her time and addressed all my concerns I would highly recommend her Im so pleased with my new look I wake up in the morning and the hardest part of my makeup is already done for me its been several months and it looks like it was done yesterday
