My daughter was ready to pierce her ears. Michael was so kind and thorough in his explanation of everything. You can tell that safety and sanitation are of the utmost importance to him. He asked about our upcoming plans to ensure it wouldnt conflict with healing time. He eased her nerves with a breathing technique and what that breathing technique does. He was highly recommended by several people that we know, and I TOTALLY get it and agree now. The highest quality earrings are used in his shop. He even had a freezer full of various Popsicles to raise her blood sugar based on her last meal. He was so amazing and a military vet!!

I loved it here! Very welcoming and my fat self loved the snacks and drinks that were available lol. My artist was a little dry but hey he did his job. I loved it!

Came and got a tattoo, walked in 10 minutes after they opened and everyone was super nice, and respectful. They got straight to work , showing me multiple options of what I wanted. They make you feel at home for sure, I recommend getting a tattoo here for anybody.

The were very professional. The shop was very clean. They were able to help me get the tatoo I wanted in the style I wanted. My daughter and I were offered water while we waited.Went back to get my military tattoo. Ended up with the same great artist. Did a fantastic job.

Mike is a very professional piercer. His area is very clean and will be honest with you on whether a piercing is going to work for you or not in your chosen area. I went to Spirit house with my daughter for her 18th birthday. She wanted to go there for 2 years after hearing great things from friends about Spirit house. It was an awesome experience! JD our tattoo artists was fantastic. He made us feel very comfortable, he joked around with us. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing. I even enjoyed the music (being a much older mother) . While JD worked on me I even had my fingers tapping as well as my feet. My daughter said it was a piece of cake! We both got sparrows, in memory of our day .

Met with the artist and went over some ideas and schedule an appointment for Tuesday. Looking forward to working with Eddie Lee! Heard nothing but the best about him.

Eddie was awesome. I had a coverup done and couldnt be happier. Its exactly what I wanted, he listened, very light handed even with it being a the top of the foot and a coverup. I highly recommend Eddie and will be returning for more ink. Clean and very professional.

We took our daughter to get her 1st tattoo and we are glad we chose this place! She was too! They were friendly, accommodating and professional from start to finish. The place was clean and equipment was sterile. Her tattoo artist JD was a hoot! He had us all laughing so much we had to sit down , so that our daughter could quit laughing long enough to get her tattoo. She was a little nervous at first, but he made sure she was happy and 100% satisfied with the stencil before inking it into her skin, which looked fabulous and just like the picture! Great work and great people! We will definitely be back!

Went to get my ear cartilage pierced after reading good reviews on here. Mike (the owner) did not disappoint. He was able to accommodate me and my four friends to all get us pierced at the same time and together. He was very professional and fully explained what he was doing and made sure everything was clean and sanitized. He clearly knows what hes talking about and makes you feel super comfortable with what he is doing. It isnt a short and sweet piercing as he wants to make sure youre fully knowledgeable of the care for yourself after the piercing. I really appreciated it!

I was very impressed with how the owner was very upfront with Me about making an appointment since I was traveling from Houston. I got there and everything went smoothly! Very very professional, I got a very difficult piercing (pain wise), my piercer was Mike, he talked me through everything, kept me comfortable and relaxed... which was very surprising, and welcoming. Everything was noticeably sanitized and in sterile packaging. He talks you through the metal grade used in your piercing, which is VERY helpful and VERY important. I personally was given ASTM-136 Titanium “Implant grade” NOT “surgical steel” or mystery metals!!!!! Talked me through everything, and allowed me to take a break when needed. Everything was extremely professional... and I was sent home with 1-2 weeks worth of aftercare products! Extremely satisfied!

Every positive review I have read about the piercer here was accurate! I couldnt have asked for a better experience for my sons first piercing, both for him and for me as the mom! The shop is clean, everything was well explained, all questions were answered- excellent all around experience.

Brought my 3 yr old in for a consultation to get her ears pierced. Mike, the owner wouldnt do it if it was traumatic for her. He approved and did it PAIN FREE AND SUPER CLEAN. Highly recommended for children from ages 5 to 10. Usually 3 is not recommended but he said she was very mature. No tears or fighting. She is SO HAPPY! This place is very clean and thorough. Mike is great at what he does! 10 stars!

First and foremost the atmosphere is amazing. I was extremely comfortable when I walked in. The guy at the front desk (forgot his name), but he was very kind and informative. He tried to calm my girlfriends and I nerves because we both were nervous about our piercings. She was getting her tongue pierced and I wanted my septum pierced. We waited for the pierced to be available. Then we were taken to the back and there we met Michael. Michael was awesome! He also calmed our nerves, conversed with us, and told us exactly what to expect. He told us everything to do to care for our piercings. I highly recommend this place. Thanks, guys!

Mike pierced my nose last night and I was so pleased with my experience. He was so well educated and made the process pain and stress free. The shop is so nice and clean, even had fresh free snacks 🍪🍰Mike was so professional yet so down to earth and made my husband and I very comfortable. I got a piercing done here. Guy that usually works counter is too serious, not friendly and didnt make me feel welcomed. Piercer was very good. Walked me through the entire process before and during. Everything was clean and sterile. They are very pricey compared to LOTS of other places Ive been to though. No discounts offered like other places tend to have.After the piercing they PUSH to come back there to have looked at for healing and first change for free (have to purchase nose ring so really not free). I was very unhappy with that process. They seemed to have an attitude about it. Told me multiple times it wasnt healed and to keep coming back weekly. Also told me dont remove it myself or could damage tissues in my nose. They gave me such a run around I ended up going somewhere else. It was completely healed but had been in place so long changing it was almost like piercing again, tender all over again. I shouldve went somewhere else sooner but I didnt know. Now I do and will NEVER go back to Spirit House for anything.

From experience, when it comes to picking a tattoo place, you always want to look at reviews but sadly not many people have the patience or the will to leave one unless its on a bad note. So I wanted to go out of my way and leave a review for this place. Ive been away for a few years due to active duty military, so coming back and still seeing this place in business is a great thing! As anyone should know, if a place is busy, always be patient with the workers because I promise they will do anything they can to take care of you, which is what they did for me. Once paperwork was signed, and image was sent, its the waiting game. That is alright, because remember a tattoo parlor, especially if they are a good one, most likely will be busy! They have an awesome waiting area on the second floor that is both adult and KID friendly just in case you have another person with you watching your kid or theirs. The convenience of that is amazing!( I didnt have a kid with me, but just seeing that is always good.) Once they were ready for me (walk in tattoo) I was walked through the whole procedure, regardless of my many tattoos I already have, they made sure I understood everything and if I had any questions to make sure to ask. Idk if it was just that time of the day, I was also given a complimentary meal! Which was delicious! The finishing product was amazing and just what I wanted. So thank you guys so much for your hospitality and catering! And thank you for supporting our troops! Love ya! BTW. My artist was Cassandra Keel!

Loved it! Took my fiance to get his first tattoo. The staff talked with us and made him feel comfortable during the whole thing. I might have found my new studio to go get work done.

We came and got tattoos which were very well done. About a month later we came back and it was very clear that they only welcomed a certain type of customer. It was very politicized and made us so uncomfortable that we did not want to spend our money there despite the quality work. They lost a good customer.

They would have gotten 5 gold stars if it wasnt for 1 55 yr old employee who was rude to me I thought but the young women that worked on me was remarkable. Im sorry I dont remember her name but I do remember she was from Israel. She was very nice and talented. I love the art work she did on my arm.

I just had my piercing done there last week and I must say I will go back there again and again. The guy who did my piercing was awesome. He walked me through the procedure step by step by step. Everything was proven sterile and clean. Even the staff was friendly and accommodating. I absolutely love this place.

I walked in to get a tattoo, the atmosphere is super chill and they were really quick to get with me and my friend and sketch our designs. It was my first tattoo and the artist was super funny and inviting and made sure that I wasnt in too much pain. The tattoo came out perfectly and the price was unbeatable, Ill definitely be recommending them to my friends.

Went today for a nose piercing and I’m highly satisfied. The man at the door was very friendly and so was Mike, my piercer. They checked my temp, sanitized me and after waiting a bit Mike led me to the back to pierce my nose. He went over the process for around 5-6 minutes before giving me a glucose tablet (I hadn’t eaten for like 4 hours) and a bottle of water and starting me on my breathing exercises to calm my nerves. Barely felt the needle, honestly the soreness AFTERWARDS hurts worse than the actual needle. He explained the aftercare thoroughly before sending me on my way with a stocked aftercare package and reassurance that he could change/re-stick my piercing if it were to fall out. 10/10. $60 CASH ONLYYYYY.

Took my wife here to get a Harry Potter tattoo. Erik Free took great care of us, and worked with my wife to get exactly what she wanted.The place is awesome. The staff is awesome. They are kid friendly. They have a kids room upstairs. Needless to say if you want a tattoo come see them.

I went to get a custom stud and the man at the counter who was over bending the studs was very rude and had an attitude with me before I even told him what I wanted. He refused to sell me anything because he didn’t think my nose was healed but he never looked at my piercing NOR had he pierced me to even know how long I’ve had it! He laughed at me and just really belittled me. I’m sure they do a great job but the attitude and assuming he just knew my nose wasn’t healed and refusing to sell to me wasn’t okay. I’ll be ordering online and getting my stuff bent elsewhere. A simple transaction turned into the most rude encounter I’ve ever had. Not to say everyone that works there is like that but an older wire man with glasses and gray hair was very very rude.

I have had 5 tats and 1 piercing from Spirits. And like always my experience has been more than acceptable. The entire staff (even the guy with the gun :-) is always professional and polite. I would and have, recommended this studio, they are the BEST!! If you have visited and left there angry, unhappy or simply bothered. I would have to wonder if you were already all those things upon arrival. These guys are truly talented. Ask for Eddie or Justice youll be glad you did.

I came in to get my piercing looked at because I have been having problems with it. The master piercer was very nice and knowledgable about everything and was very sweet. He explained everything to me in detail and then changed my jewelry because the one I had was not correct for my body. After the whole change was done and I was getting ready to check out, he informed me that he wasnt going to make me pay this time. He was just glad that I was already feeling better. 😊 Will never go anywhere else for future tattoos or piercings! Thank you so much!

You could not ask for a more professional or welcoming tattoo studio in all of southeast Texas or southwest Louisiana. Every bit of art work I have received has been phenomenal, I receive multiple compliments. They treat you like family, which is always a good feeling from any business. This is NOT a tattoo mill. Dont expect it to be.

I have only had one since getting the piercing n that was due to severe unreasonable trauma n stress going on in my life.Loved Collin too at the front. Mike was very informative before doing my Daith piercing. Kind and gentle, I didnt hardly feel a thing and Im a baby with pain. Entire place was was very clean and everyone was nice.

I was a walk in, was greeted as I walked in then they went through the rona protocol and then we got down to the tattoo business. The artist that worked on me was Graves, he was professional from start to finish and I am very happy with his work. Already planning on my next tattoo from Graves.

I cant speak for the tattoos, but if youre looking to get something pierced, this is the place. They put health and safety as their number one concern. It felt like a doctor visit in some aspects (in a good way). Highly recommend.

Walked in With a idea of what i wanted done with the color. Talked to the tattoo artist he gave his opinion on adding another color on top of the one i choose and it turned out badass. Highly recommended them. I will be a return customer for sure.

Had my first piercing after serving in the marines a while back here and let me start by saying, dont come here if your expecting a peaceful zen type atmosphere. As a buddist its an abomination that this place should be even called spirit house. More of a redneck trash house studios!! I had alot of questions about piercings and the piercer Mike who was a complete d**k kept having an attitude even insulted my friend. I tried my best to be patient and put up with him. He even tries to be intimidating by have guns with holster strap on. If you cant be respectful and friendly towards others dont work public service!! And also the guy at front desk seem to be really high all the times. DONT COME HERE. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. THERE ARE BETTER FRIENDLIER PLACES!!!!!

I would never recommended anyone trying to get a piercing to ever come to this place. where do I start? the piercer brings my friends and I into what looks like a break room/piercing room and literally forces us to sit in the chairs provided. he then removes his button up shirt solely so he can reveal the two guns he had in holsters under each arm. my friend was getting his first piercing and I was there for the company. so my friend and him are discussing the piercing when I get an important phone call, so I respectfully stepped out of the room to answer the call and I started headed towards the bathroom. he literally follows me there saying you can either come back in the room or Ill have to escort you out?? okay so I went back into the room and had to let my phone call go. now as hes talking to my friend about the piercing my friend is a little nervous being that it is his first so he was fidgeting with the chair in front of him, the piercer then says were off to a good start dont touch my fing chair thatll piss me off and then storms out of the room. at that point no one wanted to be there anymore and they certainly did not deserve our money. so we walk out and the guy was just furious yelling get his picture as if he needed that to remember someone who will never come back. after all of that my friend decided to give them a phone call and let them know what happened and to apologize for just walking out. all he got was a well hes the owner theres nothing we can do. so we carried our business to Tattoos by Mundo and the piercer there was phenomenal and everyone made us feel so welcomed, and we left there with high intentions on coming back.

My brother was visiting about a month ago from up north and we was wanting to get an outline of an owl on his neck. Seeing as they did walk ins we were gonna go talk to them about doing it, walking up to the door and they literally shut the open sign off before we could even open the door. So we went back to our truck and were on our gps in the parking lot next door typing in a friends adress and 4 guys come out of the shop like they were gonna start a fight or something. Also, a few months prior I went there to get my dad’s handwriting tattooed on me and no one was friendly, the guy that did it spent most of the time talking to everyone else and charged me $300 for copying a small section of my dad’s handwriting due to him stopping to talk while the timer was going. Made what should’ve been a special tattoo extremely disappointing. I would never go here again or recommend anyone else to. Found a much better shop in lumberton! 😁

Clean and friendly environment. Master piercer walked us through the process step by step. Master piercer showed us all of the sterilized equipment and had us verify each piece was sterilized. Will go back for any other future piercings.

Very unprofessional and rude!Instead of listening to what I wanted the artist only copied and pasted some pictures I showed him without even incorporating anything I said and then he got upset when I told him that I didnt like it.I was willing to spend a lot of money but Id rather bring my money elsewhere.

Thanks to Spirt House for fixing a piercing that I drove two hours for only for the ball to come off before even getting home. He didn’t have to fix someone else’s screw up but he did with no charge and I’m very thankful!

Horrible , my sister went in to get my brothers name and it looks as if a 3 year old did it !!! They charged her $100 after they already scared her for life with such an ugly lettering !
