Chameleon Ink Tattoo & Body Piercing

I’ve gotten all but two of my ear piercings here since my lobes when I was 11! Every piercer here is so professional and lovely, and the business obviously has pride and integrity in their work. I had to take one of my piercings out due to too small of a jewelry selection on my part, and they offered to redo it for free. Besides this, I’m thrilled with every service I’ve gotten from each one of the piercers. Worth every penny for a reliable, professional, sterile and friendly experience!

Went to get my septum. The septum piercing alone was $77 on top of the jewelry being about $25. They did NOT clarify the price beforehand. They also put an unusually large horseshoe in instead of the standard size, which has been extremely annoying. I clarified I wanted to be able to flip it up, but with the large jewelry I cannot. My total came out to $120 (I did get some cleaning supplies which was about $10.)I would definitely shop around. They were nice and friendly, but I simply cannot justify their prices.

Got my nose pierced here today and help with putting earrings back in because i haven’t put them in in a decade. my placement for my nose looks great & i was only charged $12 for help with my earrings. my piercer was Racheal and she was super nice to talk to. overall amazing & i would def go here again and recommend it to others!! jewelry for piercings is also super affordable.

I went here yesterday and was pierced by Rachel. Inside was beautiful and clean. I was super comfortable with everyone that worked here. Rachel was amazing. One of the ladys up front even came back to help calm me. I was super nervous. But the whole experience was worth it. I highly recommend this place. All three women I talked to here were just amazing. Thank you ladies. Ill definitely be back for more!

Ive been in here multiple times for my piercings. Rachael is amazing! She helped me with jewelry as well as doing my front Helix. She is helpful, accommodating, kind and an excellent piercer. I would highly highly recommend!!!!

Corelee is SO sweet and SO helpful (plus she has such a cute and bubbly personality). She was able to take off a jewelry piece that was stuck and did it was such ease. Highly recommend for piercing

I am just so impressed with this shop! Very fun welcoming atmosphere, super queer friendly, and the whole piercing staff is femme. I was also dazzled by how clean everything is; they even autoclaved the fruit snacks! I could feel their cleansing properties as I digested them throughout the day. If that aint service, I dont know what is.

Best experience ever. Racheal did a daith piercing for me and it was my first time doing anything but lobes. She talked me through it all and did a wonderful job. It looks amazing. She also chatted with me about the chaos in my life and was so sweet. Piercing and therapy in one, best way to go. 😂 The place was clean and organized and comfortable. Everyone was super friendly. I enjoyed being there. I will go back for any other piercings I need and I will always ask for Racheal.

Ok! Piercing went smoothly just annoyed it’s so crooked/slanted. I spent almost 300$ so definitely not cheap, so I would go elsewhere in the future.

Got my ears pierced by Ember. She was incredibly professional and very thoroughly explained the process and proper aftercare. From walking in to walking out, the atmosphere was both very relaxed and professional! I was a little nervous at first, but the shop was too welcoming to feel nervous for long. Definitely recommend!

I called to get my sons ears pierced. They made the appointment they knew my son was under age. They made no effort to tell me until we arrived for the appointment that he needed three pieces of identification before they would do anything.This place sucks when it comes to communication. This is not the first time it will not be the last time. I will never go back here.

Me and my Daughter went there and Barbara got her lip pierced and it got infected a couple days after it was pierced and then she had to let it close because it kept getting infected .And my Ears was infected. They charged me TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS FOR EAR PIERCING AND LIP THEY RIP ME OFF THERE TOOLS ARE NOT CLEAN AND THEY WAS VERY RUDE I will not recommend them to no one .YOUR A RIP OFF .

Quality piercing. I’m sure their tattoo artists are great, too. Racheal helped me with my earrings in my cartilage and regular earlobes. Impeccable. Make an appointment to make sure you can get done what you want at the time you want. Fill out the waiver online before you arrive.

Naomi did an excellent job on my tattoo! This was my first tattoo and I had an amazing experience and felt comfortable the whole time. They were helpful throughout the process and did a great job with designing what I asked for.

I took my 6.5 year old to get her ears pierced and it was hands down the best experience we couldve asked for. The two ladies up front were very sweet and knowledgeable. There was a variety of earrings to choose from. The piercer was amazing. She was so great with kids and explained what she was going to do in a simple way that my daughter wouldnt be overwhelmed. The actual process was very fast and efficient. The aftercare instructions were easily understood and highlighted what we needed to know. Will definitely recommend to everyone I know.

Went for a tattoo and to get a piercing downsized. The piercing fell out the next day. I’ve never had this happen before. The tattoo lines were shaky, uneven, large spaces and coloring had gaps. Disappointing considering the research I did and mostly positive reviews.

The crew here is amazing! Super friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, CLEAN. I overheard one employee training another and they said make sure you wash your hands before you touch any jewelry love that! My daughter got her nose pierced and it was a really great experience for her.... Probably too good, we now have more appointments in the future. Repeat customers for sure!

Racheal did my tragus piercing and also changed my jewelry for me. Hands down one of the best piercing experiences I have ever had. She was very knowledgeable, funny, kind and made me feel very comfortable in the chair. I would 100% recommend to anyone looking to get pierced!!

Loved this place! Had to go get my nose piercing that was started to heal up tapered and they walked me through the whole process, didnt make it hurt more than needed and were very funny. If you are nervous about piercing definitely the place to go, was a super comfortable environment. I payed $20 for the jewelry there, and $12 for the jewelry change fee. Definitely good prices for what you get and super worth it.

My piercer was so so sweet she did an amazing job on my conch and it didn’t hurt a bit, seriously go here they are so welcoming and friendly!

The people here rock!!! I was trying to find a different style 00 plug. They didn’t have any but told me if I bought some then came back they would insert. First piercer was so nice to me. Went and found silicone plugs. Tried to put them on in store. One went in fine, I turned my ear into hamburger with the other one. Couldn’t get it in. Came back here and second piercer worked me in and got it done. The front desk woman was so cool and helpful and understanding. Wish I could have caught the piercer’s names so I could acknowledge them here. Thanks Chameleon Ink for really helping me out today. You rock!

I called ahead to see if they had appointments available for a piercing, changed my mind on the piercing 20min later and they were so patient with me. When my husband and I entered we were greeted and I was able to fill out the forms quickly. The receptionist is very sweet. I got an industrial piercing done by Denali Dawn and she was amazing. She kept me distracted with playful banter and placed the jewelry beautifully. The best part was the gentleness of her hands as I wasnt even aware of when the process started and by the time I felt pain it was complete. By far one of the best piercers Ive ever been to and highly recommend to anyone in the area. The store is kept clean and has a calm atmosphere, the jewelry selection is top notch and I really couldnt more highly recommend this establishment.

Shawn Franklin did a great job on my sons old English tattoo and shaded in 2 other of my sons name very decent price and he did excellent job. Very polite and will definitely be going back and i totally recommend shawns work . The 2 tattoos on my arms were done bye someone else shawn did great job cleaning them up for they were pretty choppy and shaded them in thanks shawn .

I got my first lobe piercing at 23 years old here yesterday and had a great experience. Ember is a terrific piercer and I would absolutely recommend choosing this place for your/your kids first piercing! All the staff I interacted with were welcoming and knowledgeable of best piercing practices. Ember explained every step of the process, the safety precautions they were taking, answered my questions and sent me home with a detailed piercing care guide and saline spray. It was far less painful than most flu shots, and Im sure Ill be coming back later this year for another piercing!

We had such a positive first tattoo experience with Naomi! They were so patient with all of our questions and nerves and we got really lovely tattoos! Also extra bonus points for them being really on top of sterilization, super informative on healing and aftercare, and great to work with on the design beforehand

I went in for two piercings in my upper ear. The piercer was TWENTY MINUTES LATE and DIDN’T APOLOGIZE. I came in for two upper ear piercings. This location is painful due to cartilage and all the nerves located in the ear. The first one Hurt. And then Rachel pierced the second one in the wrong spot!! And then she asked to pierce me again and messed up AGAIN!!! Then, she took out the first piercing so that the spacing wasn’t completely whack. She mistakenly shoved a needle thru my ear twice and then pulled posts out of my fresh wounds multiple times. To make the whole experience truly horrible, they charged me full price. I cried quietly to the front desk person and then just said, “oh, sorry” and I paid ONE HUNDRED TWENTY DOLLARS for one misplaced piercing, a bloody hole in my ear. Then girl at the front desk told me that she was going to charge an extra 10 dollars to put a “gold-like” finish on my jewelry and that was a complete sham. I want to cry just thinking about the pain and disappointment. I went in to Chameleon feeling excited and hopeful and I left feeling as though my time, body and money were not valued and not respected at all.

Definitely NOT happy nor would I recommend this place and the highly non experienced piercers here. My family went for our ears, one of them had hers healed up after losing all her jewelry while moving, now she has scars that wont heal, get infected often and even swell her ears up! We shouldve gone to Seattle! Best piercer and tattoos at a certain amazing place there!

I was there to get a piercing and the experience was exceptional! The staff was extremely knowledgeable and more than accomodating. The lead piercer Denali was not only more than professional but she also had an amazing way of making me feel calm and assured throughout the whole experience. This was by far the best time I have ever spent in any Tattoo and Piercing shop but far and away the whole experience was made perfect due to the level of service offered by Denali. She is remarkable and you should definitely pay her a hundred times what shes worth!!

Chameleon is where I got my first tattoo. It was done perfectly. Today I was in for new body jewelry. Staff were very helpful and despite it being hot and busy, they were fast and professional as always. Denali helped me with my new jewelry and is very informative. She has done most of my piercings. I’ve got multiple piercings here by Denali and I just have to say it’s always been great, she’s good at what she does and she’s such a nice and fun person. I’ve got my industrial pierced multiple times (once because it got ripped out). The piercing at first was fine but after a while they ended up both getting a bump on them. One ended up completely rejecting. I’m unsure if that’s due to the piercing itself, jewelry, or the care I did at home (I thought I did fine). I had a flat here and an orbital that ended up perfectly fine!

Racheal is the best body piercer ever. I’ve had several traumatic piercing experiences throughout my life so I tend to get nervous, but Racheal is very patient and caring. Thank you for giving me a positive experience, I am so grateful!

Great service, really helpful and understanding. I got snakebites here (my first piercing beyond ear piercings) and theyve been really helpful throughout - especially Denali! Even when I mess something up at home, its been easy to schedule an appointment quickly and get it fixed up. And my piercings look great! :) Appreciate the work they put in.

This place is extremely unprofessional and not at the caliber that I have experienced at other piercing shops who care about the quality of their work and clients. My friend spent over 20 minutes consulting with someone to purchase jewelry that would properly fit her piercing. We immediately had to go to another piercing shop for my friend to get the service she needed. I do not recommend going to this shop if you want professional service and your piercings fitted properly. The staff at this shop need to work on their customer service. Queer people of color should be able to access this space and receive quality care.

I seriously love this place so much. Every tattoo and piercing Ive got from her has been beyond wonderful, and everyone is so easy to talk to. Great atmosphere, people, and work. My piercings are perfectly placed and my tattoos are well done and taken care of.

Denali is so amazing and sweet! I got my second lobes pierced by her about 5 years back and the experience was 10/10. She made me feel at ease and comfortable. She knows her stuff, and is very good with anatomy and piercing. She goes above and beyond to help her clients even years later. I recommend her to anyone who is interested in getting a piercing! Great place, my girlfriend and I went to get her ears pierced. We walked in on a Saturday and despite it being busy the staff was super helpful and moved quickly to make sure everyone got helped. There was a bit of a wait but nothing unreasonable only about half an hour. Denali Dawn was our piercer and she was very nice. She did a great job of relieving tension (as my girlfriend is very afraid of needles and was terrified. ) I highly recommend the place and piercer. It was a great experience and I would go back if I decide to get another piercing.

I went here to get a nostril piercing. I left super unhappy and actually took it out a couple of days later. I went back in to ask some questions and the piercer was extremely rude. I didn’t blame her for the wrong placement, I just wanted to move it for personal preference. She got super defensive and said that I was “f-ing crazy” to want it in a different place. Needless to say I didn’t go back. I went somewhere else and had an amazing experience. You’ve been warned.

Denali was so friendly, professional, and FUN. I had come in to just get a nostril ring changed, but she ended up finding my old septum piercing still open! I had been wanting to get it repierced (its 10+ yes old) but she easily got gorgeous new jewelry in. Everything was clean and organized, it was quick and easy, and I was so thankful she was willing to restore an old piercing I thought Id lost.

I got my nose pierced back in March by Denali, I already had my right side pierced years ago and Denali did my left side and she matched it completely 100%! Took her time to make sure they were even and it came out perfect. No complaints at all. Love it!

Came here for some new jewelry for a piercing I had had done elsewhere, received excellent and prompt service by Denali, she was very patient and gave me the exact customized jewelry I wanted. I decided to install it myself at home, and she was very sweet, she said if I needed to have it put in by them, or the size wasnt correct, to come back and see her. No problems putting it in myself, but Ill definitely be back to purchase more jewelry from them in the future, and will recommend to anyone I know looking for a high quality, reputable tattoo and piercing place.

I got my nose pierced Wednesday and I am so happy with it. Denali Dawn is the best person ever. She saved me money by piercing my nose were I used to have it pierced before to save me money. She could of just did a new pierced and took more money out of me but she didnt. That made me really happy. And she was so gentle it didnt Hart at all. She helped me pick out the best nose ring for me. I felt really welcomed once I walked in. It is really clean. Great shop! I’ve had a couple larger tattoos done by Mark and love them. He’s a super nice chill guy. I had my nose pierced by Denali and she was awesome and somehow made it barely hurt. I wanted to immediately start with a nose ring but she did a great job explaining why you should start with a stud. She’s very knowledgeable.

Loved my second piercings until I noticed they were uneven... I paid 160ish because I had to pay extra for earrings that didnt contain nickel (Im allergic) and now I can see after theyre almost done healing that theyre wildly crooked. I would recommend going somewhere else for piercings

I got my second ear lobe piercings done here by Denali and it went super well! She was super nice and did a really good job on my piercings and made sure that they were where I wanted them to be. She also did my friends nose piercing which also went really well. I highly recommend getting piercings done here!!!

Had two helix piercings done by Denali, she was really great in helping me plan the placement so that when they are healed and I swap the studs out for hoops they lay well and dont overlap by putting on some fakes over the marked placement options so I could see what I ideally want them to look like. She was very professional and invested in making sure it was exactly what I wanted and that they would be done properly. I was just a walk in and it was super quick to fill out the paperwork, get the piercings done, and finish up; about half an hour. Highly recommend Denali at Chameleon, really looking forward to going back for more

From the point of scheduling to the piercing itself, I am so impressed with Chameleon Ink in general and Denali, who did my industrial piercing last week, in particular! Everyone I spoke with at the shop was helpful from the moment I made my appointment (for myself and a friend).I wasnt sure Id be able to fit an industrial in my ear and my friend asked for help getting studs out in addition to her second ear piercings, and Denali could easily have made us feel a bit silly as other piercers have in past when we asked extra questions, but instead she was helpful and informative. She took her time and double checked every part of the process for my piercing as well as my friends ear piercings, and made sure that we were comfortable consistently, while also chatting with us rather than the stiff greeting and right down to business attitude Ive received at other piercing places.We were never made to feel pressured to buy anything we didnt come in for, hurried, or talked down to in any way. Everyone had a good attitude and I cant compliment them enough. Out of my four previous piercing experiences, this was by far my best. Id recommend it, and Ill definitely be going back to Denali for future piercings!

I got my philtrum (aka medusa piercing, the upper middle lip) pierced here last week and had a phenomenal experience. The entire exchange was extremely professional. The piercer (Denali Dawn) gave me the perfect piercing, placed perfectly and with very little to no discomfort at all.A few days later, the ball of my piercing came off when I was washing my face. I left the back part in and went into the shop the next day. Denali was more than happy to find me a new ball that worked and even sent me on my way with a replacement, no charge! I have not had any problems since then and have not experienced any pain or discomfort after receiving the piercing.Overall, excellent experience and service. Will continue to go here and also highly recommend to others.

Got dermal piercings done by Denali and her customer service and skills were outstandingly awesome. The location of the piercings were in a non-conventional location but Denali was patient and skillfully got the piercing done in the exact location I wanted. This is a clean facility with a decent amount of private rooms for whatever ink or piercing you desire. They even have natural stone jewelry in their selection.

I went to visit Chameleon Ink for the first time on Wednesday. I was able to find the store by googling tattoo/piercing shops in my area. As soon as I walked in the door I was asked if I needed help. I really appreciate their friendly front door service and attention given to their customers. I was in need of meeting with a Body Piercer to ask questions regarding a new piercing I have gotten. That is when I was introduced to Denali Dawn. Denali not only was very sweet with her services she also offered to talk me into the back with her for some privacy without other customers around. Denali answered all my questions and even gave me a FREE piece of jewelry completely without charge and gave me tips on caring for my healing piercing. Her service was so friendly that I had to tip her and am defiantly going to return to their shop soon again.

Denali helped me with my nose piercing after a little problem I had with it. She was very professional, sanitary (changed gloves a ton of times) and very pleasant! Ive gotten two ear cartilage piercings here, and both have healed beautifully. They were placed in a way that really suits my ear anatomy too. I especially appreciated the one I got done by Natalie. I didnt like the way the jewelry looked after seeing it in my ear, and she changed it out for me right away to one I liked better. I should have known what I would like initially, but the way she went the extra mile to make sure I was 100% happy with the piercing was so nice.

Got a Groupon for here and was worth the drive from Arlington! The piercer was informative, friendly, FIN!, and professional. Very gentle and quick. My now piercing was done well and she wanted to make sure placement was where I wanted. Even encouraged me to speak up on finding the right placement, and being someone who has had many piercings, thats a rare thing!Even without the Groupon, the piercing price is amazing and affordable, and I suggest getting the aftercare solution for piercings there. Very affordable and you wont spend time finding saline solution for a similar price elsewhere.Future piercing needs will definitely bring me back to Chameleon!

Denali was awesome! I went there to get a piercing re-done that I had gotten done elsewhere because it was uneven. She was great, and offered to re-do mine again for free if I wasnt completely satisfied. Super understanding and nice about the whole situation. Denali is hands down the best person i’ve ever been pierced by. She does a great job and was able to help me with an infected piercing I got somewhere else. She was very informative and helpful and is super nice during all my visits. Nowhere else i’d rather go for piercings.

Had my lobes pierced by Denali, who took time to make sure the piercing location looked good, even making a very small adjustment based on the shape of my ear. Love to see that attention to detail, and I am very happy with my new piercings!

Did a Facebook poll to get Bellinghams thought on the best place to get a nose piercing in the area. It was an overwhelming response for Chameleon so that is where I went. Denali was excellent. She is very professional, answered all of my questions, and made fun conversation for the duration of my visit. The piercing experience itself was quick and precise. I would definitely come back here for another piercing. Also there were no overpowering smells like some shops have. COVID protocols are in place and the staff are being safe.

I went in as a walk-in to get a second set of holes pierced in my ears and loved working with Denali Dawn! She was extremely careful, and clearly knew what she was doing. Not only that, but she shared the steps and process with me, which helped calm any nerves! I had such a good experience, I went back an hour later for a third set!

I got my daith pierced by Denali. She was very professional and did an amazing job. It is obvious that she is very good at what she does. It couldnt have been a better piercing experience. She was honest, upfront, and told me the daith was the most painful of the cartilage piercings. However, because she is so skilled, it was fast and barely hurt at all! Overall the shop was clean, staff were friendly and professional. Highly recommended!

My daughter had her cartilage priced and they did an excellent job making us feel at ease from the moment we called till we walked out the door. She has had a cartilage piercing before and it was constantly infected and sore. Not this time! She doesnt even know half the time that she has s new piercing. Very happy!!

Walked in no appointment, got the daith piercing i wanted fast and professionally. Denali was clean quick and very good at her job. She was more than accommodating to my requests to keep me distracted while she did the piercing. I feel like the daith(this being my second) can be a very difficult one to do. She had no hesitation and kept it from being too painful. I will definitely be back as well as recommend them to anyone who asks.

Over Christmas break my son had both ears pierced and my nephew got a memorial tattoo for his dad. These folks were great. Did an amazing job on both! Then this week my son lost the ends to his ear piercings and Denali told us to come in even though they had already closed and gave him extras in case he lost them again. These folks are AWESOME highly recommend them!

Ive only been here for my piercings so I can only speak for that. The staff here are professional and want you to have the best outcome. Ive gone to them whenever I had issues with piercings and they dont overcharge me to simply change out jewelry. I appreciate how quick and sanitary the piercers maintain their practice as well.

This review only goes so far as to rate their customer service. Front desk woman made a scheduling error, when me and my friend came back later in the day she stated that she had signed me in for a spot that was 15 minutes earlier than what she initially said. Both me and my friend very clearly remembered the original time she said to come in at. No apologies, no ownership of the mistake. Maybe the front desk person was having a bad day, but she made both of us feel really unwelcome. Ended up going down the street to Faithful Tattoo instead and was treated with respect and professionalism.

Ember pierced my triple forward helix and I would recommend her to anyone! Her space is very clean and she handled my piercings very professionally. Everything went quickly and smoothly.

I called a day ahead and made what I thought was an appointment for 12:15. I showed up and it seemed like they were juggling a lot of piercing clients at once. I waited until about 12:45 until I got pierced. The artist mentioned that she was going to take another customer before me because she had an appointment. As far as I was aware so did I, and I was in the books. I wish they had told me on the phone I was being sqeezed in last minute so I was prepared to wait that long. Once I did get my piercing it was very painful, and I started crying, and honestly my artist seemed really annoyed about it. This was my second time coming here and it will be my last, I am just super displeased with the entire experience. (My piercing is cute tho 🤷‍♀️)

Chameleon ink can be busy though the wait is worth it in my opinion. Their piercing is done very well and the selection of available jewelry is more than enough (they even provide anodizing for many pieces!). Theyre also kind about checkups if you are worried about your piercings condition or healing progress. Id recommend booking an appointment ahead of time to find a time that works well with your schedule or you may end up waiting quite a while.

Just want to share my experience in the hopes that the shop sees and talks to this artist. I’m sure that the artists here are great, but I booked a consult and the artist, Christine Houston, just never showed up. Maybe there was a miscommunication, it totally happens. The big frustration is that I emailed her and left a message at the shop and she just never responded.To their credit, people in the shop were very kind and apologetic when I explained what happened. Unfortunately, there’s really nothing they can do if the artist won’t even make time to reply to an email. It’s not the end of the world, but I’m a person and I was treated with a real lack of courtesy and that’s pretty disappointing. It’s a shame because she does beautiful work and was really excited to get tattooed by her.

I saw Kamile for my tattoo. First off her art and creativity is amazing. We ended up adding more detail to the tattoo, which was unplanned but we both agreed would look best!The shop is SO inviting. Very clean. Good music, of all genres. Each artists has their own little private room which is perfect for more revealing tattoos.I will most defiantly be returning!

I really want to like this shop, and have no input as to their tattoos, but every time Ive come here for piercing services, I feel deeply disappointed and used as a patron.I came a few months ago (like November 2017) and wanted my nostril hoop changed. When the girl was putting it in (it wasnt Denali, but a new girl), she broke the ball off. She mentioned it to me but said shed just make it tight and I was like whatever. About two weeks later, I had to remove it and let the hole close due to the jewelry having exposed nickel, which Im allergic to. I had bought the jewelry elsewhere, but having broken a piece, I feel as though it shouldve been caught that there was exposed metal.Today I went in to get my nostril repierced, and was again with the newer piercer, and I dont even know how to explain this. We went back to see if it was still open or if it needed to be pierced again. She stretched out the hole, but in the process cut part of my nostril, and I have a chunk of skin missing right next to my hole. In what felt like three different times of extreme pressure, she hadnt gotten the jewelry in, so I decided to just leave. I got home, and was able to put my own jewelry in effortlessly.I dont trust this shop whatsoever anymore, and highly advise that if youre looking to get pierced, you go anywhere else.

Bought a lip ring here to change mine. Lady insistent on it being the right size. Thought they would be right as they pierced my lip back in January. Got home and it ended up being to big to fit in my piercing. My lip closed up and they really didn’t wanna give me a refund. They said they refunded my card. So far no pending deposit for a refund so we will see o guess. I don’t recommend getting any piercings from here. Go somewhere else.

Over all was a good experience, went in for a belly button piercing ember was my piercer and they did a good job of keeping me calm and informed but they pierced my belly button crooked which is really unfortunate and bothersome

I wanted to write alot but ill keep it short. Dont go here and waste money. Maybe everyone is different but I felt I was not taken care of and felt discriminated. I will not name my piercing lady but once I got the bump and I asked if she can give me complimentary re piercing this is what she said I didnt tell you to sleep on that side so technically it was my fault which I tried not sleeping on my piercing side but you dont know what you do when you asleep.PS. I know places that do re piercing for free if there is a bump or keloid shows up(Im talking about professional people)I dont even know when everything looked good why she recommended me to switch to new earring which gave more space to create a bump(which she charged another $45)Very disappointed sorry but never going back here.

Love Chameleon! Ive gotten all of my cartilage piercings done here throughout the years. I recently went in to get some jewelry exchanged out of my tragus piercings and was helped by Ember. She took me back right away and was friendly, professional, and quick! Will definitely be back for all of my piercing needs.

Chameleon has been great each time Ive gone. I had my navel pierced there, and apart from slightly quieter behavior from the piercer at shops than Im used to, it was a quick appointment and a calm atmosphere. I went back multiple times for advice on swollen areas around piercings or keloids which they were always willing to help with, including taking me back to the piercing room to clean it up and take a closer look. I went in recently to purchase a new ball for the top of my navel piercing and was given it for free while my friend brainstormed his tattoo with an artist. Always helpful people. Never felt like I was being talked down to which is an A+ in these shops.

Naomi was professional, efficient and a good communicator. They did a cover up for me which aren’t always easy. We communicated via text and they were ready to go when I arrived. Would recommend.

They did well enough in my lobe piercings (14g) but the bar they used was too small and I just learned that by going to a different piercing shop. They’ve been healing for 5 months and I just now learned that. Because the bars are too small they won’t heal, and I can’t put my new studs with longer bars in because they’re too tight to take out without tools.

I have gone here for 2 tattoos as well as a nose piercing. I absolutley love everyone there. They are friendly and informative. Mark Keller who did both of my tattoos is amazing and does amazing work. Denali has been nothing but unapologetically rude and inconsiderate. There was always a feeling of disconnect or lack of care when it came to what I needed as a client. And I am a patient person, having waited 6 weeks for something simple and being calm and collected about it. You come here they want you in and out as fast as possible and only want your money.

I just got a fairly large back tattoo from Mark Keller and it was a really great experience. He was friendly, and made me feel totally comfortable. This isnt my first tattoo, but it was the longest session Ive ever had to sit through and he made sure to try and make me as comfortable as possible. He was willing to split my tattoo into multiple sessions if I had needed it, and numbed me up a bit after I insisted on sitting through the whole thing. Ill admit I was a bit picky about my drawing, but he was totally gracious, he took the time to re-draw the tattoo until it was exactly how I wanted it, and he was very nice about it. The setting in the shop is chill, relaxing. But most importantly, I *LOVE* my tattoo, its beautiful. Hes an amazing artist, its well worth waiting for an appointment. I would definitely go back to Mark for another tattoo!

My family and I have visited Chameleon Ink several times over the last few years and always left happy! The staff is very inviting, helpful and knowledgeable. Ive personally, only had piercings done. But most recently, my sister in law had her first ever tattoo done there and she loves it! I must say, this place is by far the best place in Bellingham/Ferndale area to go for both body piercing and tattoo work. After trying out a CPL different places, one in Ferndale, and one well known place (no names), I will loyally recommend Chameleon Ink every time. Quality of service, Atmosphere and Fairly Priced. You guys ROCK!

Both of my piercings are infected. Also Ive talked to other multiple people that have been pierced here and theyre piercings are getting infected. I dont care if they try to tell you that its your fault for not cleaning it but Ive been pierced at old school tattoo many times and none of mine ever ever got infected but when I did my two here they were both infected even after 7 months. I may be hated for this but I dont want other people going there and wasting their money.

Where do I begin!!! I went to the shop today to get my nose done! I expected this huge wait line and to be seen like 45-1hr after I got there. So not the case this shop is absolutely beautiful. There was someone in front of me and as soon as I walked into the door I was greeted and taken care of... I got all of the paper work done and went into the room I sat down and told Denali Dàwn that I was a bit nervous. She then calmed me down went trough everything and peirced my nose.. I went here to get my nose pierced & it had a bump on it for the first couple months. I doing everything we needed to do for it, still no luck of it going away. But Denali was determined to figure this out, so we upgraded to a better piece of jewlery & bam in a couple days it was gone & now Im happy with it. I love this place & I will be going back.

Tried to ask questions on their Facebook messenger and was just ignored. They obviously looked at the message, but never bothered to answer my question. Ive been pierced there before by Denali and had a great experience, but clearly their media person has poor customer service.

I called in to see how busy the shop was and if they had time for a walk-in tattoo and they had me come down right then, which was great. After telling them what I wanted, they assigned me to Chris (didnt catch his last name) and when I got there I showed him what I had drawn up and we discussed minor modifications, size, placement, etc. Everyone, including Chris, was super nice and chatted with me while I waited for things to get set up.Once we got started, things went very fast. I had my tattoo done perfectly in an hour and a half and everything is super crisp and lovely! It wasnt the cheapest place Ive been to, but the quality of the work and staff is totally worth it. 10/10 will go again.

Denali was amazing!! I have been a few times and I’ve seen both Natalie and Denali now and they are both so great, easy to talk to and they make the experience so fun! This is now the only place I go to, even living an hour away because it’s totally worth it for me. Good pricing, AMAZING service!!

My 16 year old daughter had an industrial bar inserted into her ear and the staff at Chameleon Ink took care of her - informing us of the process in detail and explaining the healing and care process beforehand. They ensured that my daughter was comfortable while inserting the bar into her ear. After wards they provided us with everything we needed to keep the ear clean. I went to chamelion to get a carlitilage piercing and was met by the most friendly staff. The piercer, heather, not only was amazingly friendly and delivered an awesome looking piercing, but she really put me at ease during the process. I also talked with a tattoo artist for awhile while I was there, I didn’t catch his name but he was also very friendly and made the whole experience great overall. I will definitely be back to see heather for all of my piercing needs, keep doin great stuff guys!!

I came here for an ear lobe piercing after having a horrible experience with infection due to a crappy mall gun piercing. The piercer was very professional (and didnt make me feel bad about how scared I was of a simple piercing), and did the piercing quickly with barely any pain. The studs screw on in the front and are so much better than the butterfly back kind (which you have to turn twice a day which is painful) that the mall places use. The piercings quickly healed with no problem and all the old scar tissue I had is now gone. If youre reading this review you probably already know better than to get pierced somewhere like the mall, but if not...take my word for it. I would definitely go back here for any other piercings I get.

Ive got a labret and double high nostrils hear about 10 months apart from each other. I got pierced by Dinali both times, she was dialed in and professional. Everyone is really friendly too.

Other than my nose piercing when I was younger, Denali is the only person I go to for piercings. Most recently she pierced my daughters nose. Denali makes you feel comfortable and always explains what shes doing beforehand.

Excellent shop but NO PARKING. Ive had ink done by both Todd and Christine and they did amazing jobs. I get compliments on the artwork all the time. In fact, Im planning a third in a few months. I recommend them to everybody, but the shop is metered street parking only. The neighboring lots arent kidding when they say they will tow you if you use their visitor spaces. More than one person has come out of the shop to find their car gone.

Wanted to book a tattoo. Went on the website and filled out the form to book an appointment. Was pleased that they noted that it could take up to 2 weeks to get a response.2 weeks go by and no word from them. Went back to the website and filled out the form again hoping this time would be different. It wasn’t. Still nothing.Disappointing.

Im very frustraited with my experience with Chameleon and feel very ripped off. I got my nose peirced back in October and just got the simipilst nose ring they had, sense they had pretty high prices already. The gem fell out within a week, so I had to wait two months to come back and get it replaced. They gave me the same nose ring and yet again, a couple days later, the gem fell out. You cant even tell my nose is pierced because theres just a tiny metal zit looking thing where the pericing should be. I didnt think it was fair that I should have to pay extra to get a piece of jewlary that lasts longer than a week, when I was already overcharge for the piercing. When I called the lady on the phone, she was very rude and short tempered and told me if I wanted a piercing that wasnt garbage I would have to pay extra money for an upgrade. Im not looking for anything special, I just want a tiny dimand that will stay in my nose. I think that the nearly 70 dollars (by the time they add tax and have you buy the cleaning solution and tip) I paid last October should cover that. I wish I had taken my business elsewhere.

Awesome clean shop. Friendly responsive staff. I went in with a drawing and in moments Mark Keller was out to talk with me. His appointment schedule was within a month. He was very friendly, made all his promises, and carried on a conversation while tattooing for 4 1/2 hours. I will most definitely get the remainder of my ink done with Mark. Love is a strong word, but I kinda love Mark Keller. I nervously went to him for my first tattoo, a black and grey large floral piece. I talked to him about my idea, gave him a few pictures, and he did a spot on drawing interpretation of what I wanted. When I emailed him about minor changes, he was more than happy to accommodate. There is no attitude, pretension, or ego with Mark. He explains the process thoroughly, makes sure you are comfortable, and then he gives you a beautiful tattoo. Then he follows up to make sure you are happy with it.AND he is really funny, and you almost forget you are being stabbed hundreds of times with needles because you talked and laughed so much.I get so many compliments on my tattoo, and if I get any more done I will be going back to him.

Friendly consultation for a piercing over the phone, then also at the shop. They paid attention to my chart (it asks about blood thinners, which I take) and were prepared. Top notch cleanliness and procedure - they used excellent sterile medical equipment, new needle for everyone, and use a sterilizer and numbing liquid beforehand thats surgery-grade. Josh did piercings for myself and several friends, weve all got nothing but props for him.

Well where do I begin? I arranged to have my ear pierced with Penny, an employee at the store. It was going fine but she seemed somewhat inhebreated, slurring her words slightly and swaying a little. The piercing was a bloody mess and on an angle however she assured me this was normal. I was pissing blood and asked her to speak to her boss when she claimed she owned the place (not true). My ears now infected and I wont be able to insert a piercing any time soon.

Tried to get a tattoo here, key word: tried, but couldnt because they kept blowing me off and telling me they could do things that they couldnt and telling me theyd get back to me through phone or email, but never actually getting back to me. Tried THREE times before I gave up and went to old gold instead, where a woman came in while I was getting my tattoo (ON THE SAME DAY I WENT IN, thats how simple this tattoo was) crying about how awful a tattoo she had just gotten at chameleon was.Edit: I gave them a second chance for a piercing and had a pleasant experience with Denali. I have 15 piercings so I typically know what to expect and was not disappointed.

I got my nose pierced with a hoop at a different piercing shop 6 months ago & I ended up getting a keloid bump on it. I went in to Chameleon today & talked to Denali (Chameleons piercer) about changing it, how to get rid of the bump etc. She was incredibly informative. She told me that due to the way it was pierced it wouldnt heal properly & that I would have the best luck taking it out & repiercing it once the bump went down & healed. Im such a baby when it comes to pain & asked if she would remove it for me since I was too scared. She happily took it out free of charge & was so sweet about the whole thing. She is super knowledgable about piercings & will recommend what is best for the healing process. Definitely going to her to get my nose repierced once it heals.

Danali is so good. I had a different place pierce a Daith on me, it took so long and omg the pain was fu##ed. Had to remove it later on. Danali did the Daith again for me and shes fast and does such a great job. I also did the Tragus. I will go back to the Chameleon Ink for another piercing and going to get a Tattoo also. You will be so glad you chose to go there.

I did extensive research around Bellingham looking for the best place to get a tattoo, and this is it. The only thing I was looking for was great artwork and delivery, which you will find here, but on top of that there is a friendly atmosphere and they have a pretty bad ass shop. My artist Mark Keller was amazing with his work, the tattoo turned out even better than I hoped for. He took my ideas and put them together perfectly. & was very informative, and he was very funny and fun to listen to. I highly recommend Chameleon Ink, and Mark Keller! You wont be disappointed. This place cancelled my appointment because they had bats flying around in the shop! they were peeing and pooping all over the equipment, they had to take two days to clean everything up! very sanitary!!!

Great talent when it comes to piercings! My septum was done straight and I didnt have to wait for help. I am yet to get a tattoo here, but I would highly recommend them for piercings in the future.

Employees were very nice and the space seemed clean, but I got a pretty mediocre tattoo, if not a bad one. I gave the artist a simple triangle design (cant remember who my artist was Im sorry, but he was nuts about coffee) and even though it was a simple stencil he still managed to give me all kinds of wonky lines and inconsistent widths. I understand a walk in can be pressed for time, but that shouldnt be at the expense of the tattoo quality. Ill have to have it fixed somewhere if fixing that is even possible, and mark it up as a bad first tattoo.

Got overcharged majorly. Spent 130$ after tax on a small black tattoo on my wrist. Didn’t ask the price beforehand directly, I send an email but I was assuming about 50$ was more than enough. Be careful and make sure you discuss beforehand as to not get ripped off by Todd!

Mark Keller is an amazing artist and a magician with his needles. He explained step by step what he was doing and made me feel quite at ease for my first tattoo.I have since gotten my second tat from Mark. Once again top notch work. The shop is always clean, and ALWAYS busy! They make sure your comfort and health are their number 1 priority, down to using a new pen every time. Mark Keller has done both my back piece and my latest piece on the top of my foot. He is always friendly (though busy) and wants to work with your vision. He is the only artist I will go, even if it means waiting a month or two to get an appointment.

Denali is a bad piercer and a even worse person. don’t go here unless u want her to home wreck your family. the other piercers are wonderful and talented

I brought a friend in from out of town to get a tattoo (which turned out really well albeit wildly overpriced) and the female piercer (not Denali) was the biggest b***h to me. She was literally standing at the counter doing nothing, so I tried to strike up a conversation while my friend was sorting out payment with the tattoo artist. This b***h straight up told me that my tattoo artist wasnt a real artist. I asked her if anyone from the shop had ever gone to the Three Rivers Tattoo Convention, or had met my artist (who is from the area), and she said, No, we have actual tattoo artists who are too busy working to do stuff like that.So, thats all I can say about Chameleon Ink.

I went to Chamelon for my first tattoo and I had a great experience! The facilities were clean and welcoming and Christine Houston did an amazing job with my tattoo! 100% recommend coming here.

Ive gotten pierced here and my experience was fast, clean, and amazing!! My friends also got tattoos here and I went with them, and that experience was great and sterile! I will probably be going here to get my tattoos in the future.

First time getting a tattoo. Ill admit I was a bit nervous, but Todd had a great sense of humor and was very willing to answer all my stupid little questions. He also asked multiple times if I liked the work so far, if I was in pain, etc..All the staff were very professional and helpful. Lived up to my expectations

If i could give this place zero stars, i would. Went here to get my friends bellybutton pierced because our regular piercer wasnt in at Old School and my friend basically got told, without using these words, that she was too fat to get her bellybutton pierced. Will never go here and never reccomend anyone to go here.

My daughter and I came in to get our noses pierced and the gal that did them was very knowledgeable and nice and even let me record my daughter get her nose done. Will definitely be coming back for some more piercings.

Just as youd expect, Chameleon Ink is antiseptically clean; the staff is polite and punctual. Thats all good, but most important they have what is essential -- a good artist. No doubt everyone there is talented, but I have to say Mark Keller is a true artist. He understood what I wanted, drew it, tweaked it and inked it. You cant do better than that when its done for life.

Excellent work done at a fair price in a comfortable, professional environment. I cant say enough good things about my artist, Todd, but I will say this: he has a gunblade hanging in his workspace. You cant get cooler than that. I highly recommend Chameleon Ink and Todd himself to anyone in Bellingham looking for great body art.

When I made my appointment and $50 deposit. She did not tell me I would completely lose out on my money. I missed my appointment because of work… wished they explained that to me before I made my appointment

After getting quotes on my chest piece tattoo from 3 different tattoo parlors in downtown Bellingham, Chameleon Ink was a solid $200-$300 cheaper than the other places. Todd, the artist who worked on my tattoo at Chameleon Ink, was very kind, worked well, and was fun and interesting enough to talk to for the duration of my appointment. Also, he stuck by his word exactly, giving me the exact price that he quoted me for, even after having worked longer than anticipated (which saved me about $75).

My wife was in need of some after care sani-derm and these folks were kind enough to help her out. Great looking shop, great flash in the books out front.

No pricing on their website for piercing services, not even so much as a range from minimum to maximum. Cannot schedule an appointment for a consultation online via website so no thank you, Bestie and I will go elsewhere thank you very much.

I got a tattoo here and I loved it so I wanted to come back for another. Something happened with the scheduling but they made it up to us and treated us very very well! The management here is great as are the artists! Will definitely be coming back
