Easily one of the best tattoo shops in all of Chicago/Chicagoland area. They are the cleanest and most welcoming shop that I have had the pleasure of getting tattooed in!The owner Omar, has great energy and you can tell he really loves what he does. Their artist Leah, is the most detailed focused person I’ve ever worked with. She really strives to make her clients ideas come to life and most of all to make her sessions as comfortable as possible.10/10 would recommend contacting them if you’re interested in having an amazing tattoo experience!

My sisters and I got matching tattoos last night by Francisco and Brian and they were wonderful to work with and did a fantastic job! Both of them, as well as the owner Omar, were all very patient with us as we gave our ideas, changed our minds on some details, and added others. They all made sure it was just right for us and made it a great experience. Their facility was very clean and they were professional and personable. We would definitely return!

Francisco did an amazing job. This was a walk in appointment with little guidance provided to him. With what I did provide, he drew up the perfect design and executed it even better than imagined. Everyone in this shop is polite and so helpful. 10/10 I would recommend this shop. I’ll be a returning customer for sure.

Everyone that works here is super friendly and supportive! They were very patient and helpful with the prepping process i.e figuring out font, size, placement, you name it. Provided easy and straight forward instructions as well as a little goodie bag with it being my first tattoo! 10/10 would recommend this place and will be going back for future appointments : )

Went in on Saturday evening as a walk in with my sister and everyone was very welcoming and friendly.. Francisco really took his time sketching my idea and detailed it to the tea he really captured what I had envisioned and brought it to life. Long overdue review on Berwyn Custom Tattoo Co! I was referred to Omar over a year ago. The goal was to make my half sleeve into a full one and update the existing artwork.The entire process was an EXPERIENCE as Omars thoughtfulness, creativity and artistry blew me away. Omars talents go beyond his experience (over twenty plus years) because of his HUMANITY. I have found a new friend in Omar as he was hospitable, spiritual, conversational and made me feel like more than a customer or transaction.His work is exceptional and he took a dated two dimensional half sleeve, breathed creative life into it and connected it to a lower half that was beyond my expectations. He was open to my input and also gave me stellar direction on how expansive we could take the body art.Dont walk, run to have this master of ink create art on your person. You wont find many better, trust me I have looked.Thanks again for the amazing experience!

My husband and I came in to touch-up our wedding rings. Omar and Brian were so kind and wonderful, I went back a week later to have Brian do my first large piece. Needless to sqy this place is on tattoo steriods!!! the service the people the staff amazing professionals clean environment eat off the floor tattoo salon NOT parlor!!!!! ultra clean easy warm and friendly . Not to mention Omar the owner very thorough and will explain any and all things related to getting a tattoo pros & cons . Be prepared to wit not for lack of service but the professional time it gets to deliver a perfect piece of art on your body. Francisco whom i’ve had the please of working with is the most talented young man i’ve met loads of awesome ideas with a major skill set in body art in it of itself!!!! Brian the most intuitive man ive met talented patient kind free spirit and never a frown with an answer to every question with bright smiles. This place has literally become my single place tattoo haven !!!! They open at noon and i believe thats the beat time to arrive absent appointments. This was my first tattoo experience, and it was wonderful! Omar (the owner) was super-friendly and Brian (the artist) provided plenty of insight into what comes with getting tattoos, even made sure I knew the pros and cons of the locations of the tats. He did everything he could to make sure that I knew what I was getting into, and also made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire tattooing process. Lovely location as well (clean, friendly and very welcoming), so couldnt recommend it enough!

He definitely took all my ideas into consideration on top of adding in his sound professional opinion. I went in for a cover up , today and I’m in love with my new tattoo Brian and Omar was very welcoming. What took 5 hrs seemed like 2hrs , that’s how comfortable I felt. Will be back and I will tell all of my friends about the great work Brian does . Thanks again Brian

Me and my mom went to this shop this week and both got our tattoos done by Brian. It was my first tattoo and he did great at making sure he explained everything throughly. I had a great experience and I am already looking to come back! My mom got a tattoo and fill in as well. She also had a great time making conversation and we both enjoyed the environment. We both are anxious people at times so the shop was very welcoming and clean. I would recommend anyone to come to this shop 11/10! Hopefully I can add more photos of our tattoos once they are healed up

You cannot go wrong with Berwyn Custom Tattoo! Omar did a cover up of a very old tattoo, he designed the new piece and it is absolutely stunning. Aaron also did amazing work with such precision on a piece for my friend and me. The studio is so clean, and zen. Good vibes and amazingly talented artists here.

Omar is the best!! I went in only looking to get a Dragon with a couple flowers and after 9 sessions I ended up leaving with a beautiful thigh piece and a good friend 🤗. I really appreciate the fact that he talks you through the entire process and they he truly cares about how the piece is going to turn out. He exceeded my expectations!

Just got my first tattoo here. Had it done by Brian who did a phenomenal job. Drew up a design based on my ideas/references and got it done in 4hrs (Large piece, half sleeve) 10/10 would recommend.

Omar is an incredible artist. Not just tattoos but fine art as well. Original and creative, brilliantly executed ideas. If you go in with a dud tattoo idea hell turn it into something fantastic. He is genuine and one of the good guys. I suggest you book your sittings well in advance because his dance card will fill up fast!
