Stones Throw Tattoo & Gallery

I have about 8 tattoos from Caeli (from the start of her career until recently) and my experience each time has been amazing. She listens to my specific requests but also gives me her expert advice on what will look best. Most of my pieces are black and grey, and there have been little to no blow outs, fading, or patches missing like I have experienced when healing tattoos from artists who don’t care about the application as much. She is also incredibly sweet and funny, and always has amazing music playing. I love Caeli and I love this shop- it’s so serene, clean, and welcoming. Couldn’t recommend it more!

Just had my first session with Caeli yesterday and, of my ~20ish tattoos, this is by far my best and it was a great experience across the board. She did a great design based off of my idea, did beautiful line work, and even went back and did preemptive touch ups of spots that I didn’t even notice were off. Truly a master of her craft! Can’t wait for round 2 (i’ll upload pics after it’s had some time to heal).

Caeli does sick work! Clean and comfortable shop and I had a great experience. Totally worth the drive if youre in Jersey. Couldnt be happier with my tattoo.

The shop was both looked and smelled clean. Everyone I encountered in person and via email was friendly and easy to talk to. Marty did my tattoo and I thought he was great. He used updated machines and saniderm for aftercare which I love. Great work, I definitely recommend this shop.

Jesse did a great job. He was an absolute professional and is a wonderful artist. I am very happy with my first tattoo.

I couldn’t say more great things about my experience with Caeli. She was supportive and receptive in the planning stages, amazingly personable and pleasant during the job, and her tattoo came out better than what I was even picturing. Get her while you can! This persons going places!!

Very clean shop, everyone was friendly and easy going. Ericksen Linn did an absolutely AMAZING job on my Sofie Belle and her koala baby. He was able to capture her perfectly. Now she is with me wherever I go, even though she is no longer with me physically. Thank you so much for your attention to detail.

I’ve been getting tattooed by David Tarrao for the past 7yrs, and he’s the one of the best artists i’ve seen. Couldn’t recommend him, or his coworkers enough. They all do amazing work, and i’m hoping to get back there soon and continue adding more pieces.

Absolutely love it here! Everyone is so friendly… the shop itself is beautifully decorated with different artworks.I got zapped by Jesse Byrd. His work is impeccable! So vibrant and full of detail. 5/5 for him for sure!! Not to mention he is super polite and sweet. So so happy I found this gem while searching for a new tattoo studio near me! I was able to snag an appointment with Marty and he did an amazing job! Clean and professional work overall and I can’t wait to come back. The shop was very clean and the environment was laid back. Highly recommend for anyone looking for good work.

Went with John to finish up a large nautical themed sleeve of many different nostalgic spots. He did a fantastic job expressing this design using realism techniques over 5 sessions. The environment at Stones Throw is relaxed and collaborative. Whether or not youve been tattooed, all of the artists will make you feel right at home. The cool thing about Stones Throw is that each artist has their own style. Highly recommend! Be prepared for Netflix and Hulu binge watching while getting ink.

I can not recommend Stones Throw enough. The shop is very clean and well kept. Every artist in the shop does solid work. I highly recommend David. Just had him start my sleeve the other day. I was blown away with his attention to detail and professionalism. I would highly recommend anyone looking to get some work done to check them out!!

I highly recommend the tattoo work of the talented artists at this studio. All are friendly, personable and professional (including the owner). I went there to have Ericksen Linn do a tattoo for me since his designs and work are beautiful. He did a black & grey Elvis for me and I’m very happy with the result!

Got my first tattoo here after needing a shop in the Philadelphia area that suited my needs. Was tattooed by Ericksen who created a beautiful art piece that is now on my body. He is a little pricy but he delivers and gives amazing tattoos. My brother used another artist (Marty) for some of his tattoos and was really happy with them. The owners are really cool and keep a very clean establishment. I highly recommend this shop to all tattoo enthusiasts since they offer a wide range of styles.

Dave and John, two great guys and artist with so much talent. Im super glad to find them. Everything super clean and organized, even the music was super nice and convenient. Great place! I just got my first tattoo here and John was awesome. He helped with the design and made me feel really comfortable. He is very personable, professional and responsive. And the shop itself is really nice as well ! Highly recommend!

John is an incredibly talented artist that pays attention to detail and can bring your ideas to life. John is experienced in multitudes of styles and has a knack for cover ups. Between my husband and I we have over seven large pieces (including cover ups), over 30 hours of work, and ideas and appointments that go on into the future. I would highly recommended Stones Throw Tattoo to anyone who is looking for an artist that is creative and focused, flexible, patient and packs in color without damaging your skin.

I got my first tattoo here yesterday with Dave and I overall had an amazing experience. Not only was he able to capture my exact design I wanted but had several sketches waiting for me upon my arrival via iPad which I thought was modern. The shop itself is clean and beautiful with lots of artwork and paintings. Parking is available and easy to access. I would easily come here again!

I was well taken care of at this facility. Super professional, very friendly, everything you would expect from a 10/10 business. Appointment was booked and judging from my artists (Dave’s) portfolio I felt 100% trust for him to turn my idea into art. He did just that and then followed up by knocking this tatoo out of the park. The two sessions went by fast, I felt like I was hanging out with one of my buds. We talked a lot and had a lot of good laughs. In the beginning I couldn’t imagine someone having this kind of artistic ability but Dave certainly has it. I’m lucky to have found these group of guys and I wouldn’t let anyone else tatoo me after the great experience I had here. Thanks again 😊👍🏻 Until the next sesh.

I worked with Ericksen on a large upper back piece and he was kind enough to break up the sessions into 2 days because I had traveled from VA. The studio was incredibly clean and organized. I was impressed with the decor of the waiting area on the first floor. I would highly recommend any and all of the artists, including Ericksen, to anyone looking for a beautiful tattoo!

Ive been going to John since he opened in Berwyn. He is an amazing artist and person! I consider him a very close friend at this point! This shop is top notch and I would never go anywhere else! Give them a go, you wont be disappointed!!

I showed up for an appointment and things didnt turn out as planned and John was nothing but understanding. He made me feel comfortable even though it was a horrible mix up. Ive seen a lot of his work hence why I chose John to do my work. He is amazing at what he does Without a doubt. And a pretty decent dude too!

I went here for my first tattoo and it was a great experience. Dave walked me through the whole process, helped me figure out exactly what I wanted, and did an awesome job! The place is very clean and nice also. I will definitely be returning for my next one!

This shop always exceed my expectations. Already been here 4 times and i can’t express enough how warming everyone is to me. Prior visit, i forgot to eat and they were genuine enough to offer me pizza. No need to look elsewhere, they do every style here at high tier with love and passion. Big shout out to Ericksen for the awesome hospitality and exquisite work he did on me.

Marty maas was amazing. He def knows what he’s doing. I did my research before getting my tatoo. It was small palm tree and cute, yet im very picky of the artists. I admire his work, checked his insta aswell. I knew i wanted this person to work on my tattoo as soon as ive seen his work. Def recommending. He sent an after care video aswell, and was talking about it . He knew that i had other tattoos but didnt ignore to mention about after care.

Caeli Martin is a talented artist and a very kind person to work with. Im really happy with my custom tattoo and I highly recommend this shop.

Hands down 10/5 Stars. John is top quality. You don’t want to show up with a wanting a small star above your ankle. Bring him an idea and let his talent shine. He is an artist , anyone is lucky to showcase his work!

I traveled 40 minutes from my house to get a tattoo from Ericksen. I am so happy with the results. The shop is modern, clean, and comfortable. After 2 sessions and a total of 10 hours. I would recommend this shop and Ericksen @clumsysurgeon to anyone who wants a large piece.

This is a beautiful, brand new facility! They are professional, talented, and down to earth. John always takes the time to make sure I am happy with my piece. I recommend him all the time and wouldnt go anywhere else!

Best tattoo place you could think of... the atmosphere of the building is awesome both of the tattoo artists are friendly, talented, and generally cool people. They work with you and your ideas and deliver the best results possible. Could not recommend a better place for a tattoo for the most complex piece of art or simple. You will not regret going here.

Very unprofessional tattoo shop. All the owner cares about are his silisited Google reviews. Definitely not happy its not even a year old and my entire back needs to be redone. Look closely and be your own judge.

Amazing experience. John worked around my short schedule coming from out of state for only 2 days. He did amazing work and has the most amazing shop Ive ever been to for ink.

First tattoo ever came from John Toro. I went with a very simple design that any competent tattoo artist could do, and I wanted it done by a master. Seeing Toros work, especially his line work, on my buddy showed me that Toro possesses that mastery.If you Google Warrior of Sunlight symbol from Dark Souls, youll see the simple design I desired for my right deltoid; nothing complex. Toros mastery shows not only through the way he packed the ink to sustain its vibrant colors and the sharpness of the edges, but the slight alteration he made to the face from the original creation that made it not only unique, but so me.Toro does his homework, relates well to his customers, and reads them quite well to give them that which they didnt realize they how much they wanted until he brought it to life. Worth the great price that he gave me.Youre in good hands with John Toro.
