Jlynn is absolutely ridiculous!! The design, the detail, the realism - could not be happier with my tattoos. I chose him for my sleeve based off a friend’s rec and I would highly highly recommend him! Honestly, I knew he was great, but damn he exceeds expectations every time. These tattoos look like they are living. He’s incredibly kind, humble and patient - just a great guy. 10/10 you will NOT regret it.

I wanted to get a memorial tattoo for my mom and Sarah came highly recommended. It was my 1st tattoo so I was pretty nervous. Sarah was great and everyone that was working in the shop that day was super cool. My tattoo came out great...I just love it. I have my second scheduled with Sarah in a couple of weeks and I am sure I will love it too. I highly recommend Sarah and Hand Forged Tattoo. Just adding to my 1st review. I was extremely fortunate to get tattooed by Jlynn Attaway. I’m working on a sleeve and his creation is coming together beautifully. He listened to what I asked for and was able to bring it to fruition. I can’t wait to go back for the rest of it! Also, important to note is that the whole shop was awesome. Everyone was super cool and kind and it was spotless.

They won’t retouch confederate flag tattoos. For that they get a whopping 10 out of 10 stars if I could. Y’all are the best. I’ll be getting my next tattoo there for sure. Much love and respect!

Been going here since Dan did a Friday the 13th tattoo on me in 2019. Seriously love this shop. Dan has now done 8 of my pieces & 3 piercings, Ash has done 2 tattoos on me, and Caleb has done 1. Each artist has their own style, but everyone is versatile and can tattoo any concept you bring their way. The owner, Auto, is super personable and always takes time to check out what everyone else in the shop is working on too. You can tell how much he cares about the place, his employees, his customers, and his work. Whether you want some sick ink, good laughs & company, sullen tees, needles (if you’re an artist obv), or even a piercing, I highly recommend this place.

Ash has done all 3 of my pieces, and it’s been amazing, you can tell she loves what she does. She has so much attention to detail and creative wisdom. I will be recommending hand forged to all my people for sure!

I got a tattoo of a beloved cat of mine from Macey. This is my favorite tattoo I have. Macey took a photo I sent and made it into a cute, simple, yet still recognizable design of my dear Baby. She went above and beyond on making this design cute, colorful, and special. I will be back for sure. The shop smelled clean and looked clean, during the tattoo Macey swapped the needles out with a brand new sterile needle. The whole process the artist took the time to clean the area, checked in every so often, and made sure to get the lines neat as possible. 10/10

Always a perfect experience, I don’t go to any shop aside from this one. I personally worked for this shop in the past and I have gotten my tattoos done here since. Amazing people to work with, amazing artists, the owner is incredible. I won’t go anywhere else.

I contacted Jlynn and gave him an idea that I had for a memorial piece on my forearm. We talked back and forth and I gave him full rein with it. I asked for a Stairway to Heaven with a silhouette of a man walking through the Gates of Heaven and three doves. Jlynn totally went above and beyond my expectations! Was looking at getting work done from Jlynn. I sent in the form for what I wanted and he said he wanted to do the tattoo. I responded shortly after asking about what dates were available and have yet to hear anything since. Do not waste your time unless you’re willing to wait weeks at a time for a response.

I have been here for all of my tattoos and never worry when I sit down in the chair. I come in with my idea and come out with something even better as I trust the artists to their creativity and craft. After a lot of research to find the perfect artist to do my automotive themed sleeve, I found Auto at Hand Forged Tattoo. Needless to say stating on my sleeve, he did amazing. If you want an amazing tattoo go and visit Hand Forged Tattoo. All though I have only had work done by Auto, all the artists in this shop will get you right!! My 1st piece of art by Auto was this Lion done in March of 2022 and I immediately knew I was going back. A year later in March of this year I offered to be a canvas at the Arklatex tattoo convention and after collaborating he came up with this BADDASS Capone sleeve! 17 hours in 2 days! If I could give 10 stars I would! Not only is he and the rest of the team great artists, but they are genuinely great people to be around and have conversations with! Ill be back to get my sleeve wrapped around and more!! You wont be disappointed!

Kody was amazing! My friend got a tattoo here and he was really meticulous and cautious about what he was doing. He made sure to get all the corners square and to fill the tattoo in perfectly. My friend had a tattoo with very fine lines and lettering and he did an AMAZING job with that as well! Everyone there was nice and funny and they made you feel like one of the group. The atmosphere was fun and upbeat and the prices are fair. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a high quality tattoo.

I called in and asked if walk-in was available, or if I had to make an appointment and they immediately took me in. I got Ash, and it was an amazing experience! I had a picture I was interested in and we figured out different things to make the design better and it turned out perfect! My S•I•L & I came in to get our noses and nipples pierced and the experience was 1000/10 ! Leah was our piercer and OMG she was AMAZING. This was our first time at HFT and it couldn’t have been any better. We all had the best time laughing and making small talk while Leah was taking care of us. All the piercings turned out soooo good !! Definitely will be back in the future for any piercings or even a tattoo maybe 🫢

I was tattooed by JLynn Attaway and he did a phenomenal piece. I told him what I had envisioned gave him the creative freedom to design something for me. When I arrived to the appointment JLynn had the artwork done and it was beyond what I envisioned! The tattoo facility itself is very organized and clean. There were other artists there working on other amazing pieces well! I will definitely be going back to have JLynn create another masterpiece in the near future! Ash has good quality work and good cover up work, however she doesn’t have experience with dark skin like the front desk lady recommended and because of the inexperience in dark skin it made her heavy handed. But I also did a 6 hour session.

I drove 4.5 hours to get a horror portrait from Jlynn and it came out better than I expected! Super professional and easy to talk to. I’ll def be back!

I love Hand Forged Tattoo! I’ve had all of my tattoos and one of my piercings done at their shop and each one came out amazing. My most recent tattoos were done by Macey McCoy, and I genuinely adore how they came out. When I messaged her she understood exactly what I wanted, and she executed my vision perfectly. And when I was ready to add onto that tattoo, she created a wonderful piece to frame it. My entire family usually goes there, as my sister has had her half sleeve done by Auto and it looks incredible. The atmosphere in their shop is also cool, and I love the different vibes at each artist’s stations. The overall process of from booking to getting the tattoo is smooth and stress free, and I would highly recommend going to Hand Forged for any tattoos or piercings.

I have been getting tattoos by Auto for years now. I followed him from one location to the next so he could continue to work on what would eventually be a sleeve. He has always been nothing short of amazing! From his exceptional talent to the cleanliness of his station and shop as a whole, I will never use another shop and/or artist for my work.When choosing a tattoo artist, for something that will be on your body permanently, you do NOT bargain shop. Whatever he chose to charge me, I would pay. Ive been here twice and just got my 3rd piece done by Daniel. The shop is clean and Daniel was very proficient with infection prevention procedures - which Im picky about d/t being in the medical field. My most recent piece has elements of a memorial to my late mother and I could not have felt more confident in my artist or more happy with how it turned out! I was comfortable the whole time. I have, and will continue to, refer friends here. Best in the area, by far!!

Auto and I have around 50 hours into my completed back piece. It was an absolute pleasure to get work done at Hand Forged. The shop is extremely clean and everyone that works there is a genuinely great artist and good human being. Go get tattooed/pierced over there. You wont regret it.

Hand forged tattoo is the only place I recommend to anyone!! Ive had several tattoos from several locations and hand forged is by far the best! Its clean and Sanitary. The people are professional and accommodating. Their skills and artistic capabilities are second to none. Ive never seen art like thay create anywhere else!! Thay take pride in their work and it shows!! Thay use top quality ink and products. My ink hasnt faded at all in the 7ish years Ive had my tattoo from them and I have multiple colors. As a first timer, I spent a good deal of time looking around and talking to my tattooed friends and family. I was referred to Auto by a friend who had good experiences with him. Got the tattoo a couple of weeks ago and could not be more pleased! The shop was clean and comfortable. The work was done on time and the quality is unbeatable. This was going to be a one time thing for me, but it was such a good experience that I am thinking about my next one.12/17/22: Paid another visit to Hand Forged last week and Auto did a great job on my tattoo as always. Everything I mentioned in my first review remains true. Cannot recommend this place (and Auto) highly enough.

This shop is a four hour drive from my house and I will make that drive in a heartbeat, again and again. Daniel works with me long distance to discuss new work and ideas. He is always quick to respond and honest in any suggestions that would improve the tattoo. I know without a doubt that any work I get done here will be excellent.

After getting told twice that I didnt have the correct anatomy, I went Hand Forged tattoo. I did a walk in and after I filled out a couple of things, the process took less than a couple of minutes. They have a really welcoming atmosphere and great customer service. I definitely will be going back and I love my piercing. And the price is $50.

I have continued going to Ashley at Hand Forged Tattoo and could not be happier with the service and outstanding artistry that I have received to date.I started coming here when i paid for my daughters first tattoo. Ashley did such a fantastic job on her arm that i started coming here for my tattos.Ashley so far has done four tattos for me with an extreme attention to detail, creativity and fantastic artwork. You cannot go wrong with Ashley as your tattoo artist.

I traveled 3 hours to get a tattoo from Auto. I could not be happier with my choice. The shop was extremely nice. It was clean and organized. I felt very comfortable there. I am already rescheduling additional work from him. His talent gets you in the door and his business etiquette brings you back.

They dont respect your time. My fiance and I got tattoos there. Mine was rushed with poor line work. Hers was very faint. Asked to get a touch up on hers, our previous artist was out of town, so another artist offered to touch it up for us. He wanted to charge us, understandable. Not your work, no obligation to do it for free. But if we set an appointment up with you, we expect to get it done around the time you said. Not Go kill time for 1 1/2 hours - 2 hours.Yall can do better

The best tattoo artists in the state if not multi state region. Auto’s work is speechless and I will only ever use him as an artist. Daniel, Kody, and Tommy are all amazing artists as well. Visited Hand Forged Tattoo on a whim looking for anyone who could correct a tattoo I received a while back that was supposed to look like a sparrow. Instead it looked like a black, dead, angel fish out of water. Auto, the owner of Hand Forged Tattoo indicated that he could help. I placed a whole lot of trust in this young man. He was able to pull off an amazing miracle all free hand. He turned my disastrous tattoo into an amazing bird taking flight. I didn’t look at the tattoo until he was completely finished, nervous at what I would find. Once he was done and I looked, I was flabbergasted. Auto does amazing work. I will definitely be returning. And I highly recommend him to anyone who either wants their first tattoo, a new tattoo, or even reconstructing an old tattoo. He is a very gifted artist who knows what he’s doing. His establishment is clean, comfortable, professional, and welcoming.

I have several different tattoos, and have worked with some different artists, but Auto effortlessly created the tattoo I had pictured in my mind, based on a few different pictures, and a very vague description...which no one else has been able to accomplish.

Ive had a lot of tattoo artists but Daniel has been by far the best. I wont go anywhere else.

I had Kody do a tattoo for me for the warlock symbol from Destiny. He did so amazing. It was a very geometric intensive piece and I am very satisfied for how it turned out. He is an up and coming artist and I will definitely be back to see what he has in store next.
