Incredible experience with kitty at electric lady lounge. I was Dreaming about this tattoo and Kitty made my vision come to life. This date is close to my heart and that was taken sensitively as well. My husband was also allowed to photograph the entire time!! Kitty made both of us feel super safe and welcome in this shop! 10/10 would recommend.

Electric Lady Lounge is by far the best tattoo shop I have ever been too, the environment is comfortable and welcoming.I have been tattooed by nearly everyone at the shop and they are all so incredibly talented and nice!I would genuinely recommend coming here, it’s a great atmosphere and everyone is very inclusive.I always enjoy my time spent here getting tattooed and chatting with some really cool people!

My sister and I came in for matching tattoos from Em. They did such an amazing job! The shop is super clean and comfortable. Everyone was nice and the vibes were positive and relaxed. We will definitely be back. Thank you again, Em. Our birds are beautiful!

Electric lady is the spot to get tattooed! The shop is beautifully and colorfully decorated and always immaculatley clean. There is plenty of parking out front and all of the artists are always so welcoming and inviting when I come in. I personally have been tattooed by Bri on three seperate occasions and every time, the design is better then I ever imagined. I highly recommend this shop for anyone looking for an inclusive, safe, and comfortable tattooing experience.

I love getting tattooed here, it’s been my go to shop for the last year or so. My artists moved here, and since then I’ve been tattooed by two more artists at EL! The environment is comfortable, and everyone who works there is phenomenal. The artists are incredibly talented and you will not be disappointed.

ELL is my favorite shop! I have travelled from MN multiple times to get pieces from Bri. The friendliness of the folks here is unmatched! And the talent is out of this world. I go knowing that I will get a gorgeous piece, good healing tips, and a comfortable experience. They go out of their way to make sure you are happy and feel comfy while being in their shop. I wish I lived closer, but distance doesn’t matter when the experience is so wonderful!

Would not go anywhere else for my tattoos. Bri has created a space that is welcoming, creative, and safe. She is willing to work with designs that you have imagined, and always willing to be creative with you. However, her designs are gorgeous and full of whimsy and flair. Can’t say enough good things about Electric Lady Lounge!

So happy I found this place! I LOVE Electric Lady Lounge! I couldn’t county the number of tattoos I’ve gotten here from Bri and Kitty! I’m planning on getting work from all of their incredible artists. The place is full on vibes and their integrity behind the shops mission is just beyond! It truly is a space for ALL. When my beloved childhood cat of 19 years passed away, I had been looking all over for the right tattoo artist to capture his essence. A friend recommended Electric Lady and I knew right away that was where I had to go! Em was the absolute right person for the job, they are a PHENOMENAL artist and so genuinely sweet and kind. It’s so delightful to get tattooed by someone who you know loves what they do! This was an incredibly sentimental and emotional piece for me and Em and all the staff at Electric Lady provided such a safe and welcoming space for me! I was so comfortable the entire time and felt so at home there! I don’t even live in town and had to drive an hour and a half but it was SO WORTH IT and I will DEFINITELY be coming back for more ink! 💖💖

Two awesome experiences, walking out with two amazing tattoos, both done by the talented @emmaxskye!ELL is well worth the visit for the atmosphere alone. It’s an inclusive space, which is desperately welcome in the tattoo culture. Mid-century modern furnishing, bright pink paint, and an impressive accumulation of art greet you as soon as you walk in the door. The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming, and I did not once feel like I was invading their spot!Emma is such a talented artist, and I’ve enjoyed working with them as much as I’ve gotten to so far! I’m hoping that we can schedule some more ink in the coming months. They’re prompt when responding to requests, flexible when I had to reschedule, and their work speaks for itself. Not to mention their prices are, in my opinion, more than fair! I got one custom piece and one flash from them, and each speak to Emma’s strengths as a tattoo artist. I couldn’t be more satisfied with them!ELL is about 2 hours away from me, and even then, it’s well worth the drive. After moving shops, @emmskye landed at this awesome shop and we planned my tattoo. I sent them 3 or 4 reference photos of what I wanted, and they drew up a fantastic original. This shop is colorful, happy, and welcoming to all. The fun things to see are almost endless! I definitely plan to get another one of these days!

Bri and the team at Electric Lady Lounge run the best tattoo parlor you’re going to find anywhere in the Kankakee and Chicagoland area. I’ve had 4 tattoo sessions with Bri now and am planning on many more. Here are some things I love about Electric Lady Lounge: 1) The shop itself is beautiful, welcoming, super clean and just all around really cool. 2) Communicating with the business is smooth, easy and professional. Go check out their website. You’ll see what I mean. 3) Lastly, I’ve not encountered a tattoo parlor with a more uplifting and affirming atmosphere. Kitty did a small wrist tattoo in Klingon for me. She even double checked the spelling, how amazing is that?! It was quick and the lines are so clean. Plus its an LGBTQ+ affirming business which means everything to me. I cant recommend Kitty and Electric Lady enough.

This is by far the most welcoming and cozy tattoo shop Ive been too. The prices are very fair considering the artistic abilities of the staff. This shop is a cornerstone of our community.

Called looking for an opening for a last min idea that I wanted in a time crunch. The young lady that answered told me she had an opening that day. So after explaining what I wanted she told me that she was an apprentice and wasn’t comfortable with tattooing a finger yet (totally respect and love that she was honest and upfront. That speaks volumes on the type of shop this is!). She then proceeded to get me in touch with another artist there that was able to fit me in when honestly she didn’t have to do that at all. She could have easily told me to kick rocks and make an appointment online for another date. So my appointment was for 1230, I get there and was instantly greeted by everyone. Met with “Rodrigo”. We went over my idea that I emailed him about and he made it happen. Great guy, great artist. I will def return to have him tattoo me again. The shop is very clean. You can tell they take safety and cleanliness very serious. Great to see a nice shop finally in the Kankakee area!

Previously one of my eyebrows was burned off during a waxing appt. Also had bad microblading experience. Ari did amazing work with the challenges I presented to her.....so talented! Love my new brows!

The studio is extremely clean and the girls take all perceptions possible before beginning your session. They are so nice and caring, giving the studio a welcoming energy. Bri is an amazing tattoo artist with a light hand and amazing line work.

I was very uncomfortable in this shop. As a woman and the name being Electric Lady Lounge I was hoping for a all inclusive fem/non-binary space to feel comfortable in. They should not be calling it a lady lounge if a male is present. They should make it more known to the public on their instagram that they now have a male working there. Very unfortunate I wanted a safe spot to go to.

If you’re looking for a comfortable, welcoming environment, this is the place to go! Bri and Ari are both very professional and kind throughout the entire time I was getting tattooed. The space that they are in is S T U N N I N G. Bri has always been professional and she knows how to take the idea I have in my head and turn it into some of the most vibrant and fun art I could imagine. Ari also does amazing work from what I have seen. All-in-all, it’s an amazing place to feel welcomed and understood.
