My daughter and I decided to get our helix piercing done. We walked in to the studio and were greeted my Juan. We told him what we wanted to get and he helped us. Ron was our piercer and he was amazing. Ron was so helpful told us how to take care of the piercing and how long the healing process will be as well. My daughter went 1st and ended up passing out. Ron noticed the signs and ended up catching her before she fell and hit the ground. Helped her recover and told me how to help her. The quick thinking of his part was amazing. I am so grateful. What an amazing team.

I went to Juan to get my first tattoo. Both he and the place were great! It was very clean inside and he did a great job with my tattoo! He made sure that I liked the sizing and placement multiple times which was helpful and was able to replicate the exact design I wanted. If you’re looking for a place to go, this is the one! Would definitely go again!

Ive come here for a number of piercings and I am consistently happy with the work done. Ron has done a second lobe piercing and a conch piercing on my right ear and they look amazing after fully healing (silver). Last night he did a second lobe piercing on my left ear (gold) and absolutely rocked it. (I have yet to change my jewelry to gold hence the color differences) He even gave me the choice of a gold or silver stud!He took very careful measurements to make sure it was as aligned with my right ear as possible and let me verify with a mirror. He gave me the option of counting down before he pierced me, and even as he did, he timed it in such a way that it was done before my anxiety settled in. It was over and done with before I knew it! Mild soreness, and now the day after, I have no pain in the area. He was very informative about the aftercare and so so nice to work with and talked to me about my interests as he prepared to help me relax.He also did a septum piercing removal for me and double checked with me whether I wanted to keep the piercing or not. Very considerate, and Im glad Ive come to him for all my piercings!

Got a tattoo done couple years back. Was laughing at the bad reviews but then noticed my tattoo actually got blown out. No hard feelings just want a touch up for free. ❤️

I loved the atmosphere of the salon. It was open and welcoming from the door. The first person that did my paperwork was super nice also educated me on all the basics and how to pick my font style and placement.

Received my first tattoo here couldn’t be happier with the result! Christian was my tattoo artist, was professional, and made me feel very comfortable. Ron, Josh, and Juan were also very friendly and welcoming. Would recommend this place to anyone!

When I seen the tattoo on paper I felt it was crooked, he said it wasn’t, when he put it on my neck I said it was crooked, he said it because of the way I’m turning my neck. He was very adamant that it wasn’t crooked, he printed it out from the computer and the computer would not have made it crooked is what he said. After getting the tattoo (which I shouldn’t have) I got multiple opinions stating that the tattoo is in fact crooked. I called in again to see if the tattoo artist could at least cover it up for a discounted price and he was very rude, telling me there’s nothing he could do about it. Granted it is my fault, I didn’t go with my gut. I shouldnt have gotten the tattoo. It was a bad decision made with a bad tattoo artist.Pictures added of what I asked for vs what I got.Christian was the artist.

I came in with my 16 year old daughter for a very important tattoo. Josh listened to what she wanted and designed the perfect piece of art that was tasteful and exactly what she wanted. He was fast, courteous and very kind. He made sure she understood about the after-care. If you are looking for a solid tattoo artist in the NE, Josh is your guy.

Ron pierced my nose piercing maybe 2x and recently my septum. Very professional. The first time I got my septum pierced from somewhere else it was very crooked and pierced in a weird spot. This time around was different. I learned about a sweet spot ? Where the piercing should be. I’m happy with the placement and overall service. THANK YOU! I highly recommend this place and referred anyone that asked where I get my piercings done to this place !🤪

I’ve gotten two tattoos done here by the artist, Ron. All of the staff is really awesome and they do an amazing job. I had two really awful looking butterflies behind my ear and Ron covered them beautifully with another butterfly that was exactly how I wished my first one came out. The lines on both my tattoos are super clear and I’m in love with them. Also they’re very clean and careful about covid, everything is super orderly and kept as clean as possible. Super great place would highly recommend!!!

Wonderful experience! I got my tongue pierced here a few years ago and it was excellent, clean, and well done. Yesterday I got my septum pierced here again and it was all I could ask for. Very clean, very friendly staff, excellent work. My piercings look great, I highly recommend this shop! Knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and answered all my questions. This is my second time coming back to get a tattoo from Ron and im already planning to make my 3rd appointment! Ron is great Tattoo Artist, plus everyone in the shop is hilarious and fun to be around. They have this guy there named Josh learning how to do tattoos and he’s really sweet! He helped Ron come up with my design and it came out perfect!! He was able to bring what i had in mind to life easily. Despite being open during COVID they’re doing everything they can to keep themselves and everyone safe. During the whole time I was there they took every single person’s temperature, made sure that their mask was on and above their nose, frequently changed their gloves! If you’re nervous about what precautions people are taking, you have nothing to worry about here! They don’t mess around when it comes to being safe!! And even though they’re short staffed, Ron, Josh, and Christian were willing to help anyone who called/came through the door. In the middle of getting my tattoo a lady had came in asking about a sunflower, Ron was able to answer any questions she had about pricing, sizing, placement, etc, all while still giving me the attention I needed. There was never a time where i felt unattended to! We were able to start my sleeve and touch up my back design all within 5 hours!! 10/10 experience will continue to come here for tattoos!!

The artist Ron who took me last minute did a great job. Loved the environment overall because it was chill vibes and all positive mindsets.Most of all, Don’t listen to all the negative reviews or let them stop you from getting tatted or pierced here. Like you should see for yourself what they are all about. My friends and I walked in as Ron was leaving and he came back to pierce us. We all got cartilage piercings and he made it super easy for us. He talked to us to distract us while it was happening and we didn’t even feel it. Took a max of 15 minutes for the 3 of us and was a very enjoyable experience for something that’s supposed to be painful. Highly recommend and definitely will be coming back.

I went to creative ink to get a double nostril piercing and was seen immediately despite me not having an appointment. Ron was my piercer and he was incredible. Explained everything, professional, sterile instruments and more! If you’re looking for getting quality work with great prices look no further! Will definitely return.

Ron did such an amazing job on my eyebrow and nostril piercing!! I had a lovely experience getting my ears pierced, I got my 2nd lobes and a helix piercing. I was pleasantly surprised about how well they were handling covid, making sure everyone kept 6 feet apart, washed their hands, and wore masks. My piercings were done by a man that was a great mix of friendly and professional and my ears are healing very nicely a few weeks later. Thank you!

I went in to get my micro dermal removed. The top screw had came off about 2 months ago and Ron was still able to remove it. He had trouble at first but he did not give up until he was able to remove it. I was so happy it had been bothering me for a while. This is exactly where you need to go they will not give up on you no matter what. You get what you paid for. They are clean, extremely professional and just overall amazing!!! Thank you so much again Ron and the crew!!

I called 10-15 minutes before showing up for a tragus piercing - friendly service, no wait time. Ron was very patient and extremely kind; he took the time to show me the tools he was going to use. The pain was minimal, it was more of a shock than anything. Will be coming back for more!

I went in for a tongue piercing and was extremely happy with the shop and the guys. It was clean and very professional. My piercing has worked out perfectly, even better than expected. I told them I was a lot nervous about getting it done and they were very supportive throughout the entire process. They answered all my questions and even discussed things I didnt even think of. I will be going back to them for all of my future supplies and fittings. These guys know there stuff.

I got my tattoo done by Ron in the Bridgeport location and I love it. Hands down a great experience!Update: Although, my tattoo artist was very pleasant. I am not a big fan of how it healed. My tattoo looks warm and is still peeling. Because of the peeling and scab the shading is gone as well. I have gotten some many dislikes about my tattoo its making me subconscious. With the amount I spent on this tattoo, which i think was ridiculous, because they dont tell you up front how much it will cost and they dont discuss anything with you unless you leave a deposit. Which I find sketchy and no one told me that its non-refundable. Overall not going back.

I had a tattoo done on my upper rib side on September, I wanted to let my tattoo heal well before leaving a review. First off I got tattooed by CHRISTIAN, Ill put it in bold letters because I think he was great. I have had a few tattoos before in my hometown and now that I moved its so hard to trust someone youre not familiar with, with a tattoo, considering one has to have it in their skin forever. Christian was very clear in answering all my questions, clearing my doubts, at the time of the tattoo he was was very clean and gave me the most significant tattoo I have in my body. Most importantly I feel proud to have it. No better feeling than to find a good tattoo artist that can do exactly what you want, Im very, very happy and looking forward to coming back and getting more ink in the near future. Yesterday i got my 2nd and 3rd piercings by Ron at the Bridgeport location. I was nervous about getting 2 cartilage piercings at once but i barely felt needles. Everything was clean and he opened all the jewelry and equipment w me there watching so i know everything was new just for me. The shop was busy but once he set up I was done in 5 min tops with exactly what i wanted. Definitely the place i send anyone thinking about getting anything.

I had made an appt last Feb, but couldnt get it done due to Covid. When I called a few wks ago, Ronnie remembered who I was, the amount of my deposit (which they honored) and the tattoo I wanted. I decided to to something different so he referred me to his dad, Ron. He and I spoke on the phone and exchanged e-mails about what I wanted & what would work best as a cover up. When I arrived, the shop was very clean and Covid safe...I had to have a medical grade mask, they took my temp and had me wash my hands before sitting down. Ron had multiple options for me to choose from based on our previous conversations. Once we decided on design, Ron got ready....again, everything was done following Covid safety measures...and, Im quite sure its how the shop is Covid or not. Ron is the owner so a few times he had to stop to help another artist or customer, but he apologized and got right back at it. The shop has a fun, easy going feel. We had a lot of laughs while I was there. My cover up came out even better than I imagined. Also, price was discussed upfront and reasonable for the tattoo I had done. I highly recommended Creative Instinks for your next tattoo or piercing - you wont be disappointed.

My friend and I came in to get piercings today, and our experience was wonderful! She got a cartilage piercing and I got a nostril piercing, and both were done quickly and efficiently with little pain and lots of communication. Would definitely go again!

Did four tattoos in all, josh was great and patient with a steady hand. Christian does great artwork too but his attitude wasn’t up to par. Would go again but not to Christian.

We brought my son here in mid March to get his ears pierced and was not happy with the results of job done. Hes 16, and he received infant size earrings which starting slipping inside his ear lobe. Needless to say both ears got red and infected and we removed the earrings. Now weve paid for piercings in both ears and will have to do this again when he heals. disappointed.****Update: Creative Instinkts has offered to redo the piercings and use larger earrings to correct the situation. I think it says a lot when a business will stand behind their work and ensure their customers are satisfied.

Went today to get my first professional tattoo done on my arm, Ron (my artist) showed absolutely amazing customer service and helped me a lot with the process of getting my tattoo, everyone there was very nice overall and they are all super talented artist’s, would definitely go there again if I ever get another tattoo in the future.

Went there with my boyfriend a couple of days ago for a small flower design tattoo. Charged 450$. and my boyfriend a simple arm tattoo with no shading. His is peeling off , and not normal shedding , like completely gone. looks extremely infected. My ink is also falling out completely and lines don’t match up. I just went to my To-Go to tattoo artist to ask his opinion and he is willing to fix it in a couple months when it heals, for half to price and he has actual quality work AND is 10x more professional than them I wish I was smart and made an appointment with him instead of going for an impulsive walk in tattoo here. Not sure how to upload a picture but I wish I could, to warn anyone from wasting their money/ time and having a over priced tattoo that is loosing ink and severally red. Very sketchy place.DO YOUR RESEARCH.

My experience with the piercing process was not the entire issue, but what I found to be extremely frustrating was the (lack of) customer service. Ive gotten three piercings now at Creative Instincts, and I will no longer return for future piercings due to their terrible customer service. Every time I call, or even go into the shop, whoever is working the front desk answers acting stoned of their a** and above any questions I have involving the healing process, prices, you name it. It actually is quite how funny how disinterested they are in providing quality service to their customers, as if it doesnt matter at all. Recently, I got two piercings done by Ron. Ive had between 12-13 piercings done before, never had an infection, and both of these piercings got infected at different times (I followed all cleaning instructions.) I called customer service to ask to speak to Ron or at least receive proper care instructions, and instead of helping he told me it was not the shops problem and that they were not liable for my infections. He was totally disinterested in giving me proper cleaning advice and only concerned about liability issues. To me this is a major red flag. Ron was nice and meant well, and seemed to know what he was doing, but if you want to get through to anybody at this shop you might as well go in person because they might as well not have customer service at all.

Im Raynelle James, and had an awesome experience getting my Medusa Piercing from Ron in the Bridgeport, CT location,who I highly recommend if you are looking for a piercing. He was kind, gentle and very cool making me feel at ease and making me feel comfortable.

We drove from NY to Bridgeport CT for my son to get his 1st tattoo because of the age restriction in ny. Creative Instinks Tattoo made it a great experience for my son being it was his 1st tattoo. The shop was clean and the artist were knowledgeable and informative. They were friendly and made my son feel at ease. They told us exactly how to care for his tattoo once he got home. I highly recommend this shop

The tattoos were low quality. There are spaces between the lines, some lines are thicker than others, some lines are lighter than others, and one of the lines blew out. The other tattoo I got is disproportionate and one part of it is lighter and smaller than the others. The artist was very kind but it wasn’t worth the money I paid. I will be going to the artist who did my first tattoo to fix it.

Went there for my very first tattoo, family memebers names across my shoulders, and had a great experience. Very welcoming enviroment, piece came out perfect to how i envisioned it, and gave great tips and recommendations for taking care of it after i got it done. Highly recommended, will go again for my next ones as well!

Their level of professionalism is very poor and they work very slow. They dont give accurate pricing, youll end up paying more for your work and they add taxes to the already stated price. The service overall was great, from prepping and making sure everything was clean and sanitize to adding finishing touches to my tattoo! Cristian was also good at giving me little breaks throughout my session, i 100% recommended going here !

One of the artist, Josh Fesik, is a great tattoo artist. he did a ying yang sign with the heart organ around it and it came out beautiful. he made me feel vey comfortable and when i go again, hell be one of the people i want to tattoo me.

I went to get a quote on a sunflower I get there receptionist see me trying to open the locked door , walks by the door , I continue trying to open the door then comes back to the door to open it and ask me how she can help me ... I don’t like their attitudes in there ,tattoo artist I was dealing with and receptionist neither of them were welcoming (but I get it business is business I guess) . I was willing to pay w.e for my tattoo but the professionalism wasn’t there for me. This is not the place I called , so I should’ve been told I came to the wrong place instead of acting like they’re who I spoke with

Horrible customer service all around . Had to wait about 45 minutes to have a nose ring changed...once it was changed the new ring was double in size which cause my nose to swell and develop a bubble. Called back a few hours later and the manager said itll be fine in a few days it just needs to stretch had to perform at home surgery on my nose to remove the nose ring. Would never step foot in here again.

Went in today around three. Customer service, horrific. I went in asking about a piercing and the piercer rudely responded saying that I should go to the piercer that pierced me, previously. First off, I came to this location due to the fabulous reviews. Let it be my luck to receive their nasty attitudes. Never going back and dont recommend.

I came in to get a matching tattoo with a close friend. The guy there was extremely helpful and informative. Clean shop, professional people, excellent work. Definitely going to go back! Also, amazing text work there.

The customer service wasnt bad but getting the actual piercing was horrific, first they had to redo the marking for the piercing maybe 5-6 times then they actually pierced it put the jewelry in then they did the other one and put the jewerly in, looked at it and took the first one out and repierced it. The guy who pierced my friend had to be couched threw the entire thing because he kept messing up.

The customer services was really good- very careful with hygiene and cluster of people. The piercing experience was a breeze the staff makes you feel comfortable and relax!!

Yeah but for my first tattoo it was expensive, i don’t recommend to go over for a tattoo. with just words and they charge you 500$ when really it should be under 350

I booked a tap out session with Juan. On our first phone call I made sure to ask all the necessary questions. During the phone call I told Juan that I am coming from far. I sent him some photos of some ideas that I had, I made my appointment a month out to give Juan proper time to think and draw up some ideas to the foundation of the tat I wanted. A week before my appointment I messaged him because I haven’t heard from him. He explained that he’s on vacation and we will talk when he gets back. My original appointment was just two days away and I didn’t have a clue onto how my tattoo will look. I call him on the day of the appointment and his whole demeanor changed. He spoke about the integrity of the shop and him as an artist which I didn’t understand based off of our original agreement. I managed to have them agree to a facetime call. My appointment was from 11:30-7 I was 15mins early Juan shows up on time but made me wait over 30 mins for him to eat his Burger King. I had no choice but to wait because I was not going to say anything to make him any more upset especially from our previous phone call. He had to redo the stenciling at least 4 times. I lost count. He even remade a stencil, before printing the second stencil i politely asked if he can switch the rose that he originally had on it. It looked like a regular red flower. No distinction of an actual rose. I begged and begged until he begrudgingly said that he will free hand the changes. We didn’t start actually tattooing until 1pm. The original plan was my whole forearm. But last minute I told him to not do the outer part just the inside of my arm and the deal was for him to focus more on the rose and make it look more realistic. So off the bat half the tat is gone. On the wrist part I was in pain. I asked him to please move to a different section if he can. He ignored that request. Okay I sucked it up, he’s the professional and I didn’t want to disrupt any flow. In the photo I circled the flaws. The photos don’t do it justice on how horrible it looks. I have tats that are over 13yrs old that still looks great. This tat looks like I got it done in a prison cell. The block doesn’t look broken. He told him that I don’t want the background colored in where the gears are shown. I told him since we were running out of time just draw the outline and if there’s more time we will color in the GEARS. He nods his head and CONTINUES to shade in the background. I had to yell please stop. One or two strokes will fade away. But he most definitely pressed harder to make that mark. I’m so upset about that because it just doesn’t look right. Up top by my wrist is supposed to be vines with thorns on it. It looks more like lightning than anything else. Down bottom where it looks like someone took a pen and drew on my arm turned out that way because we simply ran out of time. He stopped tattooing around 7:15 a full 8 hours sitting minus a couple 10 min breaks. No real intricate design. And he still couldn’t complete it. Nor did he show any care about the “integrity” of his work. The lines are there because I begged him and was able to convince him that it would be hard to redo the stencil for just that part and I will also come back and pay him $150 per hour to finish the tat. I asked if maybe we can just work out a flat price to finish it up since I already invested $700. He said that he will have to speak to the owner (btw great guy with an awesome character) Juan never got back to me. I figured he was waiting for the tat to heal. It’s been a month that I waited. If he had all the integrity that he spoke so highly about. He definitely would’ve reached back out. He said the only important thing to him is to complete the tat and make sure that I’m happy. I’m definitely not happy at all. My arm is exposed. This isn’t some leg tat that I can cover with long pants. I’m so upset about this. It took everything in me to write this review. I’m not one for negative reviews but if I could save someone else’s skin through my experience then it was all worth it.
