Rowan The Corners of Brookfield

Super disappointed with this place. I was so excited to see a studio open with needle piercing options and that offered 14k gold. However, make sure to read the fine print. I went in expressing how bad of an allergy I had to nickel, titanium and surgical steel, I was reassured the earring I was choosing was 14k gold. Little did I know the gold post was not included and that was never expressed to me (but you could buy it separately) and in fact was getting pierced with a titanium post/back. I thought I was doing something wrong in the healing process, since I could not get my ears to heal properly, they were even too swollen to downsize the post. Finally I had enough after 4 months and took them out to realize the post and back were definitely not gold. Now that I looked at the website and read the description I now see the reason. They’ve been out a week and magically they are no longer irritated. Super disappointing considering these are nurses performing the piercings and I made sure to mention my concerns multiple times making sure they were 14k gold.

We took our daughter to get her ears pierced here today and they some how double booked the appointment, however they were able to still fit us in. - which we were grateful for! We went here because we were under the impression these are trained professionals and nurses. Our daughter sat perfectly still and didnt move once. My husband videoed the entire process, and you can clearly see she did not move once for the piercing. The nurse said she was like a statue. Yet somehow the piercings are not even close to the same spot. Nor are they on the piercing mark we said looked good. After the piercings were done, the markings could still be seen on both ears. Both ears somehow were pierced in the wrong spot. We happily paid $170 here today because we were under the impression this was better than mall piercing locations. The location said we can remove them and come back in for another try and more accurate piercings. I do not want to put my daughter through that, nor does she want to take her new earrings out, let alone get them pierced again. So unfortunate, and Im sad to say before we went I told many friends how excited I was to have nurses piercing her ears.

Everyone at Rowan did an excellent job with my 8 year old daughter! She was hesitant at first & they made her feel comfortable. I highly recommend!!

Autumn was fantastic. Provided way more support than I was anticipating and gave great suggestions for types of piercings and style of piercings. I ended up getting 4 piercings and I am in love with every one of them! Will book my next piercing here and recommend them to anyone looking:)

My 12-year-old daughter had a great experience for her first lobe piercings! The staff were kind, patient, thorough with explaining everything, and how amazing was the cleanliness of everything! The prices, in my opinion, are very reasonable for this type of setting and procedure to be done. Thank you so much!

I would never go anywhere else. I was so nervous to take my six-year-old to get her ears pierced. She cried in the parking lot because she thought it was going to hurt and I told her it wouldn’t. We went in and they were amazing! They explained everything; they were patient and kind. I couldn’t picture a better place to take your child to get their ears pierced. Will definitely be recommending to everyone

Plus, I appreciate her careful attention to aseptic technique.Follow up: Its two days since my second set of lobe piercings, and Im happy to report that Ive had no discomfort at all post-procedure. No itching. No pain. No swelling. No problems at all. They look cute, too!

My experience was SO AMAZING here!!! I went to the corners of Brookfield location and I had the nurse autumn. She was amazing, reassuring, and told me everything I needed to know! I would definitely come back her for any future piercing. They should definitely offer other piercings like navel!!

I’m 31 years young and I had the pleasure of getting pieced by one of their nurses. Although one of my ears is slightly lower on my head than the other (left), Mary kept it cool. And after the piecing you can hardly tell! I highly recommend this place for your piercing. Quick. Painless. And great support from the staff. Thanks Mary!

We’re super happy with our experience here! Our daughter was quite nervous after a bad experience at a different business where she left crying without any piercings. This place is super inviting & the staff is comforting and patient. They’re all registered nurses wearing scrubs, and the place is very clean. We’ll definitely be back in the future if our daughters decide they want anything else!

We had our 6 year old daughters ears pierced here tonight. I made the appointment online. We showed up about 15 minutes early to give her time to pick her earrings- I also had questions about gun piercing vs needle piercing. Autumn was awesome at answering my questions and making me feel comfortable. She explained what she was doing, each step of the way to my daughter and when we werent sure about the dot placement prior to the piercing, redid them for us, until we were satisfied. I cant say enough great things. Everything was clean- even the bathrooms. Autumn was patient and sweet. Wed highly recommend.

First, the store is very clean and bright. Marissa is lovely. Super informative and answered so many random questions happily. My piercer, Mary was very professional, she is a nurse at a local hospital and was very calm and positive. It was a great piercing experience! I may be back again!!

My daughter, Rowan, loves her experience here. She bought a pair of earrings and was had one of the lovely nurses put them in since she was having trouble putting earrings in herself. They were so kind and patient!

My teenage daughter and I both had our doubles pierced. The staff could not be any more welcoming. We looked through our options and settled on needle piercing, which was new to both of us. The nurse did a great job of explaining the process and made us both feel more comfortable about our choice. Both of us are really happy with our new piercings and it was really fun to share the experience together. Highly recommend :-)

Autumn pierced me and she was so kind and gentle, and way very sweet when I felt a little dizzy after the pierce!

To be clear, our piercer Hannah was fabulous and so great with my 2 year old whose piercings look great. My frustration revolves around the scheduling of the appointment. I called earlier in the week asking when there would be availability to have two piercers so both ears could be done at the same time. They told me on the weekend. I scheduled her appointment for 12:30 Saturday and called the morning of to be sure there would be two piercers available. The receptionist said the second piercer didn’t come in until 2. I said that was fine and we pushed the appointment back until then. We arrived at Rowan at the scheduled appointment time with my 2 year old and 5 month old in tow. We waited 30 minutes before getting to a chair and another 10 minutes waiting for the second piercer to become available. My daughter’s ears were finally pierced at 2:40, 40 minutes after our appointment time. I understand walk ins are accepted but if it is pushing back scheduled appointments over 30 minutes this is a disservice to those who schedule appointments and arrive on time to them.

Saw this walking by and decided to go in for a spontaneous piercing…Marissa was incredibly helpful sharing how the process works, suggesting piercings, etc. and Mary did a great job with the piercing. It was quick, painless, very clean, and super easy! Highly recommend for any of your piercings.

This is a very nice place. They were so helpful. I hope to find one in Connecticut so my sister and I can get our ears pierced together in October this year.Quiet and very relaxing, not all the noise of the malls.

I booked myself ear piercings for Mother’s Day after seeing an Instagram ad. Very impressed with the experience! Booking was super easy and they had good availability. The location was perfect, very cute in Brookfield corners. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. The nurse also was great, there was a large mirror where I could see everything. She did a great job The process was very clean and quick. I was in and out in about 10 minutes.The only con is that it was fairly pricey. I was expecting it to be because they have to make money somehow, but it was $50 to get my two lobes pierced. There were no earring options (at least that they showed) under $60. I was ok to pay that due to the earrings being hypoallergenic but the same pair was half the price in their website. The cleaning spray was $20 and with tip it ended up being a little bit more than I expected.With that transparency, now that I know the prices I would definitely recommend them and return for future piercings.

I want to edit this review and switch it from 1 start to 5. Originally, I had given it a one star because I booked an appt for a helix needle piercing and was told the next day at my appt (that they were behind on) that they were only doing device piercings that day. The scheduling system I feel needs immediate attention as I wasted a lot of time showing up and working around an appt that they were not able to fulfill.The manager reached out (after I left without being able to get my piercing done that day) that she understood my frustration and apologized for the major inconvenience. I was able to go back 2 days later and get my helix piercing done (since they were doing both needle and device that day) and the service fee was comped. My nurse (Jess) was very nice and professional and I am so happy with the piercing she gave me.I would recommend this place but I would suggest calling ahead and asking if they will be doing needle piercings during the time you want to go (if this is the service you want). Otherwise there are days/times they only offer device piercings and it will not be indicated on your booking. Hopefully that gets fixed soon. The manager did mention that they are aware and are working on fixing this.
