Spectacular place, guys. I applaud you all for a wonderful experience from start to finish. We came in a few days prior to our tattoo date, to inquire about pricing, as well as discuss our design for matching tattoos. The front office staff were extremely friendly, and helpful/knowledgeable. I wish I thought to get your names ladies because you were all delightful to work with. They had us speak with a couple artists and provided contact information on all of the artists that we spoke to.We spoke with Kenny, and Dean. Both were very helpful and receptive to designing and providing much needed feedback for tattoo design! Solely due to availability we went with Kenny since I was visiting from out of town. Both of these artists were fabulous. We felt very comfortable and excited with what we discussed and decided with the artists.The day of the tattoo we finalized our design thoughts with the artist. We decided to change a couple things for the final design. The artist was great to chat with and he was very professional. After care was explained thoroughly, and the tattoo is healing well!Very clean technique was used. Very very happy with this shop, and will be back again!

THIS PLACE HAS BECOME A RIP OFF! THIS SHOP IS GOING DOWN HILL! A friend of mine went here and for a regular double ear piercing with jewelry (not even gold jewelry) was over $200! That is INSANE! Used to be my favorite shop. And I used to recommend ppl go here. NOT ANYMORE! BOO! HISS!

Update: I was able to get in contact with Liz and we were able to make this situation right.Original review:I went here to get two earlobe piercings and was told that the total for a set was $45. I was fine with the price. When I went to pay, I was shocked to find out that two sets of earrings and an individual stud was $300. I only got jewelry so I wasn’t charged a piercing fee for the earlobes. Apparently there is a fee for the post of $15 per earring, which they don’t tell you until the piercings are done and you’re about to walk out. To top the experience off, two weeks later, one of my lobes is infected and has a giant bump on it. Update got my abscess removed just over two weeks after getting my earlobe piercings reopened. $300 for the trauma of having to get a procedure done on my earlobes on a random Tuesday. Save yourself the money and headache and take your business elsewhere. Went back and there piercer was clearly high and just said everything was fine with my conch.Oh and for the consumers out there, the piercer sat right behind the front desk staff during check out as they asked how much you wanted to tip. It was super uncomfortable.Mo was an awesome piercer and this review should not be taken as a reflection of their work in anyway.

Charging prices that include piercing is bullshit! came by because my wife accidentally lost her ball to her lip piercing. She was charged $25 dollars for a simple lip bar. Guess times are hard when you hustle your customers! Definitely wouldnt. Trust them with a tattoo.. charging Vegas prices for Colfax quality.

We went here to get a piercing ring changed out. They told us a price of $40-$45, then after the new ring was put in and we were ready to pay, they said they quoted us a wrong price and it was actually $97! I asked if they could honor the original price they quoted us. The best they could do was $70! We had them take the ring out. The good ol bait and switch.

I took my six year old for an ear piercing after she had an ear infection the first attempt. The team is welcoming and professional. They set my daughter up for success!

Favorite piercing studio, all staff Ive interacted with are excellent, and Liz Murphy is my by far favorite piercer, really skilled piercer in all regards, wild depth and breadth of knowledge. Been going to her for 3? years. Shes done both of my tongue piercings, navel, industrial, and nipples. My friends have had multiple eyebrows, PA, various weird ones, and my longtime area resident friends full of even more holes often reccomend her, too. All healed very well, no complications, excellent placement, jewellery selection and recs, and aftercare advice. I expect her peers at the studio have a high level of skill as well, although I have not had work done.From professionalism, to comfort in the process, to skill in executing the piercing, to working with all bodies as being unique and varied ( I ALWAYS suggest her to my queer, trans, disabled, and fat friends, because she is perfect for them especially). I simply will not go to another studio or piercer if she is available to book. Strong chance Id travel or time my piercings with other travel if she moved, and I would pay more (which can be done w tipping :)), it is really and truly worth it in my mind to visit someone of this caliber for anything more complex than a lobe or easy helix or navel or septum piercing. Again, it is easier, you get better advice, you get general knowledge of the piercing process that other piercers are not able to provide mid-process. She makes it look crazy easy.I cannot speak to her proficiency with piercing children, because I am not a children, but from all accounts it is nicer than a lot of other experiences. If I was a child I think I would also suggest her if I wanted my ears etc pierced, deeply courteous and informative and skilled at making the process feel natural and smooth and nice. I had mid or even kind of bad piercing experiences at other locations, or just uncertainty on skill level, and Liz has always surpassed expectations. I feel very lucky I found her.

My daughter got her first ear piercing, my older got her second and I got my second nose piercing! Will not go anywhere else! They did an amazing job and so fast!

Went in for a septum. took 30 minutes to clean the jewelry, then 5 minutes to do the piercing itself. Jane was so nice and comfortable during the entire thing an it looks so good!. healing has been easy, I follow the instructions she sent me home with and Im so happy.

Got my second piercing in both ears. Staff friendly. Loved the guy that did the piercing. Very friendly and nice. Did a good job.

Ive been working with Liz Murphy for a while now on stretching some existing piercings. She is amazing and the only one Ill ever go to!She did a new piercing for me too, my industrial. It turned out perfect!ADDITION: I have now gotten my septum, tragus, conch, and 2nd lobe piercings from Liz. They were all amazingly easy and came out perfect.

I love this spot! Stopped by yesterday to talk about some tattoo work and grab some new labret jewelry. I was the only one in the shop so I was lucky I had the attention and help from all the staff in choosing my new jewelry items. Three absolutely gorgeous, incredibly friendly, and kind staff helped me. Thank you to the beautiful Sophie for the jewelry advice, it was spot on and I LOVE my new pieces. Thank you Ben, for your infectious smile and unwavering patience and kindness in fitting me with the right size lip ring. I believe River was in training, but I think he is going to be another great asset to the shop as he showed the same patience and kindness as everyone else. Shamefully, I forgot the name of the tattoo artist I spoke to which frustrates me because he was wonderful as well. Very good experience discussing my concerns and needs with him. He offered solid advice. I highly recommend this wonderful shop and I will always seek them out first before every going anywhere else. THANK YOU ALL!

Took my 20 to book an appointment, and the site didnt set my appointment for today (8/25) at 340pm. Im finding a different place now for my daughters ear piercings.

Amazing experience today. I took my daughter here 3 years ago for ear lobes piercing at the recommendation of a friend who also had her daughters ears pierced here. We had a great experience then and that is why we returned today for my younger daughter’s piercing. They are patient and kind with kids and make them feel at ease(explaining the process and tools and asking for permission before piercing) I highly recommend Tribal. It’s clean and staff are professional and experienced.

My family found this place and this is the only place we go to now! The staff is so friendly and kind, willing to help you through anything and just overall a great place to get tattoos and piercings

I came in to get my nipple repierced and had Liz. She was fantastic. Super professional and knowledgeable and helpful. She’s quick as well and felt very little pain during the actual piercing. Highly recommended Tribal Rites Tattoo and Piercing to anyone. :)

Wanted to get a helix piercing and they were able to get me in that day. Mo was a great piercer. She was obviously very knowledgeable and gentle. Highly recommend her if you’re looking to get a piercing. This also was my first cartilage piercing and I was nervous but everything went great and Mo walked me through everything. Looking forward to the healing process now.

This place was great and the staff were SUPER nice. The place was super clean tooI took my niece to get her flat done and he did such a great job. They were all super patient with us while we took FOREVER looking for the jewelry we wanted lol (my neice got the seahorse) While we were there I decided to re-do my medusa thankfully it was still 95% open still and he only had to pop through the back but he only charged me for the jewelry

Great tattoo and piercing shop! The piercer (Im sorry I forget their name) was super professional and friendly. It was my first times getting my ear lobes pierced, so I was a little nervous. But it barely hurt lol.

All of the front workers were so nice and helpful! Made my husband and I feel comfortable and truly expressed how sorry they were when they found out they didnt have the jewelry to pierce what I wanted pierced. AMAZING customer service!

Ive been to around 6 different shops in the last couple years, trying to find a place that did quality work and were also personable.My first interaction with this shop was a phone call I made to them. They had time to take me as a walk-in for piercings, so I arrived maybe 30 minutes later.My piercing artist was Ben, and I dont have enough good things to say about him! Not only was he knowledgeable about his craft, but he followed strict guidelines to ensure my safety. I tried to convince him to do an industrial on top of two daiths, but he reasonably put his foot down, and I acknowledge his wisdom now.The daiths are placed damn near perfectly. I did spring for one additional piercing, a new navel one to replace my old one which stretched way out over the years. All three piercings were professionally done, and thats really only HALF of why Im going back. Speaking with Ben was beyond easy, I think he might be able to calm the most freaked out modification virgin in under 10 minutes.He recommended other artists for various modifications Ive been considering, and wrote down contact info for those whos cards he didnt have available.He also recommended a tattoo artist who works in the same shop, based on my descriptions of rework, coverup, and new ideas. That guy is named Dean, and gotta shout him out now too!Dean set me up for a consult about a neck piece coverup very quickly. A day or two after my first visit. Dean took my rambling ideas and fired off 5ish ideas the night he was answering my questions via email. He seems modest about his abilities, but I need to shout this: HES HUNGRY TO CREATE. The way he articulated his understanding of my anxiety rambling was very professional.His hour rate was more than I expected, but just based on his online portfolio and the sketches he made Im very willing to pay it. His art seems super complimentary to my ideas, and Im beyond hopeful the coverup succeeds, cuz I have a lot of ink to fix.Overall: Im overwhelmingly happy to have found this shop. Ive spoken to 4 people who work there, and all 4 are polite, responsive, and friendly.If the shop owner sees this review: your hiring process is superb!Ill add more after my first tattoo session (dean was booked out a few weeks, but he has me near the first)

Had some bad experiences with the last artist I went to so my coworker recommended Dean and he was fantastic! Everyone at this shop is super chill and personable and the place has a really great atmosphere with skilled artists. Will definitely be back!

I went in to the shop wanting to get a watercolor style tattoo of a phoenix done on my upper arm. I ended up working with guest artist Amy Zager, and she did an unbelievable job. She really took great care of me, and her design work was phenomenal. All the other artists and staff at the shop were super friendly and cool. The music selection was also on point. My 3+ hour session was a breeze and I couldnt be happier with the work done! Any of the artists would do great work, the shop is awesome, and if you ever get the opportunity to book with Amy when shes in town, I could not recommend her more highly!

Very friendly and patient with my girls! My girls got cool jewelry (piercing ear lobes) and our piercer Yuyu made them feel comfortable and explained everything from when she was touching their ears, to adding the ink to check placement, to when she was adding the back to the earring. Yes it was expensive but so worth it!!! Highly recommend this place for your littles to get ears pierced. My kids wanted their ears pierced and they are 7&5 yo.

Just came in for a piercing to be put back in the team was extremely quick and lovely. Id definitely come back again.

I’ve been going to tribal rites for years for piercings and usually have great experiences. However recently there has been this guy working the front counter with long brown hair who is just super rude to everyone. He makes me not want to come to this location anymore because of his attitude and terrible customer service. He’s blatantly rude and it’s so frustrating to try to get any piercing done here now. I have no complaints besides him, and the piercers are great but it makes the whole experience negative to have that energy around.

They were nice but not great with follow through I placed an order two weeks ago or longer on a piercing they told me it would be in that Wednesday... Nothing then I called them the gal told me it will be in that week and my name is in the box to be called.... Please do not offer to order something if you arent going to follow through. Bad business... Again they were nice but follow through not great.

My daughters and I have been several times. Recently, a piercing did not go quite according to plan. I am so happy to say that Liz went out of her way to not only correct the issue, but make it even better. I am so impressed with the consistent good quality we have always received, but I’m even more impressed that when something didn’t go quite right, the staff- especially Liz- were able to do so much to satisfy their customers. Jasmine went out of her way to arrange how we would get things corrected with professionalism and kindness- thank you, Jasmine! And Liz, the manager, was even willing to come in on her birthday to help us as soon as she could. We could not allow that because we wanted her to enjoy her day, but she still expedited a special appointment and pulled everything she had to do that day off just beautifully. My daughters and I are so very happy and thankful to be able to go to a place we can trust to take care of us. Thank you for everything, Tribal Rites!! ❤️

My daughter scheduled for a belly piercing. We just had to fill out a little info after photo of our I.D.s. Seen really quick and done very well, my daughter loves it. Reasonably priced I felt, was $60.00. Very nice establishment.

By far the most professional and clean shop I’ve been to for a piercing. Liz did my septum about a month ago and it was painless, easy, and I didn’t have any healing complications.I went with my friends about a week ago to get my Medusa done at another shop and the piercer was not informative on the post after care and I was experiencing swelling that would not go down. I initially went back to the piercer because I felt like I needed a longer bar to accommodate the swelling but he told me it would be fine if I just keep taking ibuprofen and stick to cool - cold foods / drinks . Following my intuition, I knew I needed a second opinion and came back to Tribal Rites. The woman who greeted me was so sweet and Piercer took his time to evaluate what I had going on and did agree that I needed the longer bar. He made the change of the piercing itself so painless and he was very on top of sterilization (which I can appreciate being a dental assistant). He also had some great suggestions for me and gave me the proper after care I was seeking. It was a big relief. I learned my lesson, and know that from here on out that this is now my forever shop for my piercings to come. Thank you all at this shop so incredibly much and taking care of me the way you did. :)

I got my daith done by Ben today, it was a repierce. He did it quickly and even though I was the last appointment of the day, he had a great attitude. He also had done my sons septum in the past. He is absolutely amazing, very kind, very knowledgeable, and very respectful. I would recommend him to anyone who needs any piercings done. Thank you Ben!

Tribal rites staff is honestly amazing. I’ve seen multiple artist/piercers at the Westminster location and have never had a bad experience. Tattoo artist Dave works fast, all while delivering beautiful art. The staff at the desk are equally as amazing. I’d recommend this place to anyone. ❤️

Absolutely amazing! They listened to my issues with my last piercing (not by them) and fixed everything! Definitely going back for my next. Theyve now done my septum and the other nostril and lined them up perfectly!

Liz is the best...I had a new freshly pierced helix that lost a threadless backing. This was done from a different establishment and she was so understanding about my situation. I went into Tribal Rites since it was closest to my home to see if she could help.Sure enough Liz got it back in, in no time and it only hurt for maybe a day. I trust her since she makes you feel so comfortable even when pain is involved, since what she had to do hurt way more than the piercing initially. Also she was kind enough to help me with downsizing a healed piercing post. I got some awesome jewelry as well during my trips to this shop.I will definitely come back in the future for my piercing needs when she is in the shop. This establishment did amazing on my navel piercing many years ago as well. The customer service is amazing which you cannot beat.

I stopped in yesterday after work with my buddy to get our Helixes pierced. Benny D took us back promptly and took the time to explain everything he was doing and was very gentle and comforting. He was the perfect amount of talkative that made it feel like a comfortable environment and not just a cold shop for a quick in and out piercing. My Helix was an impulsive decision for me, so when he asked where I wanted it I said I wasnt sure. He took a look at my ear and picked the perfect spot! He was so stoked about how cool it was going to look it really made me feel awesome :) I definitely will be returning to this shop just for Benny D. What a great guy!

I am traveling out of state and woke up this morning to notice all of a sudden my helix became embedded. I stopped in around 3 and was seen within 10 minutes (didn’t have an appointment) and they were able to fix the issue painlessly. The piercer (I wish I got her name, she was amazing!) talked me through everything and put in a bigger bar to help with the swelling. Very clean and professional while also being welcoming and kind!

I ordered some jewelry from these guys back in May, it is now September and I have not heard back. Also, what their tattoo artist charge for small tattoos is absolutely ridiculous and honestly after looking at some of the artist portfolios, not the best tattoo artist in Denver. $350 for a 3” x 3” is nuts.

Got my nasal piercing there at 13 I believe and it healed perfectly. Mo who is an absolute sweetheart, had done my septum 6 months ago which was painless and healed beautifully. And today Mo did my belly button piercing. She is so patient and amazing. Also have had all my tattoos done by dean, who is incredibly nice and patient. Thank you!!

My cousin and I came in as walk-ins an 2 hours and half before out flight back home. Dave was super helpful and really quick with our matching tattoos. We were in and out in about an hour, the shop was very clean and welcoming. As were the people working there! Thanks Dave!

Mo was INCREDIBLE! I got an appointment right away and went in with my six year old daughter whos been wanting her ears pierced since she was 4! I finally took her and Im so glad we came here. The staff was very helpful, friendly, and professional. And Mo made my daughter feel comfortable and the process went quickly. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is wanting their type of services.

I’ve been here several times and will always use this shop as my piercing shop. This most recent visit I got to have Benny D as my piercer, he’s new to Tribal Rites and such a nice person. He had a great attitude, was very communicative, and kept my comfort in mind the whole time. He did my vertical labret and listened to what I wanted, and found a way to make it work with my anatomy. He’s a peach! I highly recommend him if you’re looking for a piercer.

We went here today for my daughters helix piercing. We made the appointment online and it was super easy. Everyone was so nice and professional. The shop was very clean. Mo did her piercing and she was awesome! I have a feeling well be back as now my daughter already has plans for her next piercing.

I have had a wonderful experience at this location with Mo! Although she has not pierced me yet, she has helped me out with various piercing issues I’ve had and is always very knowledgeable and helpful. I would recommend her to anyone looking to get pierced. The studio is always clean, and all the other employees I’ve talked to have been great.

Lauren deserves 5 stars and more! All the talk about her is true. She rocks! Ive had piercings before, but she made me the most comfortable. I wasnt nervous at all and there wasnt a reason to be. She was quick, precise, and made my experience painless. Im also from out of town and had an issue with swelling so I emailed her (called the shop twice, but never got a call back which is fine I totally get theyre busy) and communicating was a breeze! Moe did a fantastic job with my nose piercing! She was extremely knowledgeable, quick, light handed and personable. The price was very fair, she was very professional and the atmosphere of the store was calm and clean.Overall, she made the experience very enjoyable and I am so happy I decided to go here. Mo is the best! I only ever go to her to get pierced! Shes done 10+ piercings on me and they all have come out amazing! Shes extremely knowledgeable about piercings, placement, jewelry, and after care. I used to always go to any shop to get pierced, but after meeting mo and have her pierce me I wont go anywhere else. Shes fun, professional, and one of the best piercers in Colorado. Its always a good experience. I no longer feel nervous going to get pierced. As for tribal rites I think its by far on of the best shops in Colorado. I had a piercing that didnt heal right and instead of going to the ER for them to remove it I went back to Tribal and not only did they remove it for me to clean it up, but they gave me a longer bar so the swelling wouldnt put my piercing at risk. Ive never had a bad experience at Tribal and look forward to my next visit.

The facility is clean and organized. They offer walk ins & are always more than happy to answer any questions I have over piercings, whether it’s about the healing process or piercings I would like to get in the future. I went into Tribal Rites yesterday to get my septum pierced and let me tell you, the staff was absolutely fantastic. There was basically no wait, they had a ton of jewelry to look at (they said they could custom order anything if they didnt have it), and their prices were extremely reasonable. Liz Murphy did my septum piercing in a matter of minutes and it didnt hurt at all. Im on day 2 now and my piercing is doing absolutely great, Id definitely come back for more piercings in the future and Ill be telling my friends about my experience here. Thanks again, Liz!!!

Got an industrial piercing while out of town last July. Started having issues with it a few months on, which they were super helpful with. They’ve always been great, and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend.

Mo did my daith piercing! She was amazing! She took the time to explain the process and clarify concerns I had. The piercing procedure had minimal pain/pressure. The healing process has been smooth so far (about 2 weeks). She even extended herself by informing about her available days so that if I run into any issues I can make contact. True professionalism. I got my 1st tattoo in 15 years last week with Mike Myers at Tribal Rites and I am so happy with the piece that he created for me. We had talked about my basic design the week before. I brought in a printed out pic of the plain black symbol but told him I wanted it more artistic and with color and he came back with 8 amazing sketches for me to pick and choose from but I was automatically drawn to 1 in particular and didnt feel the need to change what he had made. It was more perfect than I could have imagined! I am so happy with the finished product and I am already planning on getting my next piece from him soon. Not only was it perfect but his excitement when I first explained what I was going for and his gentle hand and great personality made the whole thing an amazing experience. I highly recommend him to everyone considering a tattoo! I also got an eyebrow piercing from Sam which was so easy and didnt even swell or turn red. Maybe for 5 minutes but it was quick, easy and exactly positioned where I wanted it. Also the front desk assistant Kori was so friendly and knowledgeable about all the jewelry. For awhile I was the only customer in the shop and the employees were all so friendly and chatted with me as Mike worked his magic but the second they got a rush and the store filled up with probably 15 customers ready for piercings and a couple tattoos they were right on top of it and made sure everyone felt taken care of and was attended too. Great customer management skills, especially Kori. She was helping about 6 people at once with jewelry options and had no trouble managing all the questions and back n forth between customers. Overall such a great experience. Great shop, great atmosphere, great employees and amazing talent!! Thanks to all of you and a huge thanks to Mike!

I got pierced by an awesome lady by the name of Mo today. It was one of the best piercing experiences Ive ever had. She was super friendly and welcoming, she kindly explained everything I needed to know and more about the healing process and after care. Im planning on getting a couple more piercings soon, hopefully from, Mo. 😊

I am extremely impressed with the care of the job preformed. Piercing of young kids ears is not a easy job to do. Yet LIZ did a amazing job at it. Made both Parent and child feel relaxed and at ease. Definitely recommend LIZ for the job. Thank you for all your hard work.

Today was my first time going in and my first time getting my nose pierced. I got in and registered quick and easy, the employees were really nice, the employees made sure everything was constantly clean and kept the equipment clean. The process was done by Rachel Smith and she did great! Quick, easy and painless. The prices were good too. My go to place probably from now on.

Ive had a few piercings by liz now, and each time i leave feeling warm and happy! Today, she did my nipples with another lovely piercer (Mo?), and it was one of the best experiences ive had in any buisness! Both ladies were fun and comforting and silly, and even held my hand! How amazing is that!? The pain was minimal, which i credit to liz and her swift perfected technique! Thank you to both piercers for making it a wonderful day and for giving me beautiful body mods!

Professional & friendly staff! I was looking for a great, clean place to get piercings and piercer, Mo, was terrific! I felt less nervous about my appointment and I was super excited that she first checked to see if my naval piercing was still open (which it was) ... glad I didn’t have to get my naval pierced twice! 10/10 would come back :)

David was very professional, nice, and communicative. I had a great experience with him and he did a wonderful job with my tattoo.

I’ve been pierced by Liz and Benny D here and they were both awesome! I stopped in for an impulse piercing today and Benny was so helpful and made me feel so comfortable and welcome! He was so sweet throughout the entire process. He helped me make a decision and coached me through the pain (which rly wasn’t that bad s/o to benny d btw) 10/10 such a good experience

Sam did a great job on my piercings! The whole thing was clean, quick, and exactly how I wanted it - hes got a lot of experience.The only hesitation Id have in recmending this place to someone is if its for their first piercing. He didnt do too much explaining and was very quick and to the point; which is awesome if you know what to expect but may not be so good if you need a bit of time to calm your nerves.Overall Tribal Rites was clean and professional - Id have no hesitation returning to them in the future.

I had a great experience getting my septum pierced with Mo. She was so friendly (which the whole staff that was there that day was) and gentle. I won’t think twice to go back if I decide to do any other piercings.And just wanna point out that even though i live in Boulder and have a Tribal Rites location within 10 minutes from my house i rather drive the extra 20 miles to go to the Westminster location because my experience at the location here was SO POOR. Unbelievably rude staff. Just FYI.

Today I got my very first tattoo. Jared was the artist. I couldnt be happier! The whole process and the result exceeded all my expectations. Jared did an amazing job. All the other staff were super friendly and helpful. The whole thing was quick, easy and a good price. My wife and I have plans for more work and we will absolutely be going to Tribal Rites for all of it. I highly recommend them!

Lauren was incredibly sweet, communicative and patient! She made me feel super comfortable and she was an absolute professional! I got my vertical labret done and felt absolutely NOTHING! Her voice was so soothing and she was very attentive to my needs and wants as far as requesting and getting jewelry on other piercings installed. I have come to this place on 2 other occasions and have absolutely loved the experience! Keep it up, you guys and gals! Im proud to come to you for all of my body mod alternative needs in Westminster. ^_^ Did I mention one of my FAVORITE songs of ALL TIME was playing during my piercing? Definitely memorable.

Awesome experience! I came in with my friend and between the 2 of us we got 3 piercings. She got her nose and tongue and I got a vertical labret. The guy who pierced us was super exact with placement and very quick with the piercings. Never complained the times we asked for the marks to be repositioned before piercing. Super competitive pricing and very friendly staff. We were all laughing and joking the whole time. Will definitely be back for future piercings.

Went in today to get my nose repierced, the girl that did it was fantastic! Super friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. She was extremely gentle and the piercing was a breeze. Ive gotten all of my piercings here over the last 6 years but she is by far the best piercer Ive ever had. I definitely recommend coming here for her.

I have had many piercings done here. Lauren is AMAZING!!!! She always is so friendly, knowledgeable, and creative. Just tonight we designed a custom ear piercing because my ear was not suited for a traditional industrial. I love that Lauren always tells me the truth and if she doesnt think a piercing will look good or will heal well on me, but she also comes up with a creative option. Kevin is wonderful as well and so gentle. I wont ever let anyone except these two pierce me!

Tribal Rites has done my piercings and two of my daughters piercings (ages 7 and 12) and they have always done a great job. Just last night, Mo did my daughters doubles and even helped me re-open my doubles. She was fun, helped my daughter relax, and did a great job. If you are considering getting your child’s ears pierced, I highly recommend Tribal Rites.

Here you will find tattoo artists with sketchy portfolios, crabby and impatient desk staff and piercers, a lobby that consistently smells of Marajuana, and a dark and dingey atmosphere. Also The piercer who did my ear didnt sanitize the skin first, which raised a few questions.However, youre not guaranteed to have a poor experience here, Ive actually referred some friends to this studio. They also have the capability to anodize/color titanium jewelry, and a large selection of jewelry in stock!But overall, my experiences have been largely negative here, and the staff have been almost unanimously unapproachable no matter how respectful and kind Ive been. Decide for yourself 👍

So much for providing a little motherly love! I gave one star because it didn’t give me the option not to give any stars. I helped my niece book an appointment to get her two month old daughter’s ears pierced. After lots of research and reading tons of reviews, we thought tribal rites was the place to go. We were told that Liz is the infant piercer and scheduled an appointment with her for today. We drove to Westminster from Johnstown. We ran into some issues trying to find the location and arrived 10 minutes late. When we arrived, all of the Tribal Rites staff (including Liz) were standing around smoking. We apologize for being late and explained that we had a hard time finding the location. Liz along with another staff member were incredibly rude and unprofessional. Not to mention, reeked of cigarette smoke. I don’t care if she smokes or not, but I do find it concerning that she would be out taking a smoke break knowing that she was scheduled to pierce an infants ears. Because we were 10 minutes late Liz refused to pierce the babies ears. There were still 30 minutes left of the 40 minute appointment, but she said she needed a full 40 minutes to pierce a sleeping two month old infant’s ears. Keep in mind that the entire shop was empty except for employees. She asked if my niece had the baby‘s original birth certificate, which she did not. She had other documentation Including the signed hospital birth certificate, but not the original birth certificate. Liz stated that “even if she wanted to“, which clearly she didn’t, she could not pierce the babies ears because she did not have the original birth certificate. This was due to a misunderstanding on our end. The tribal rites website states that there are different types of documentation that can be used including a library card. Even the confirmation email that we received says nothing about an original birth certificate. It turns out there is another section on the website specifying the need for an original birth certificate for an infant piercing. I highly recommend being specific in your confirmation emails regarding your policies in order to keep someone else from wasting their time driving to your shop and not being able to get the services that were pre-paid. We were unable to find any type of policy regarding being late to an appointment. We completely understand and respect the need to stay on schedule, but I have three children of my own and multiple nieces that have gotten their ears pierced and it has never taken 40 minutes. Especially if done by a professional who has supposedly been piercing as long as Liz says claims she has. After dealing with Ms. Murphy’s attitude and lack of professionalism, there was obviously no way we were going to allow her anywhere near the baby. My niece is a first time mom and after dealing with Liz, she was petrified at the thought that she almost trusted this woman to pierce her daughters ears. Naturally we asked for a refund and our request was denied. The only way to keep from losing the money was to reschedule the appointment. Obviously, that was not going to happen! Would you allow someone that was unprofessional, disrespectful, inconsiderate, uncooperative, and just plain rude near your infant?! I think not! Needless to say, this was a horrible experience. Other customers may have had great experiences with this person, but I have always been a firm believer that when someone shows you who they really are, believe them. I doubt this was the first time she was rude and unprofessional, and I can bet you money it won’t be the last. Do better Liz!

So i went with a friend to get a peircing on April 16th and the woman at the desk was EXTREMELY ruder and unprofessional. She was not being helpful and was just overall rude and unfriendly. Didnt get a piercing dont recommend 0/5. They where out front smoking cigarettes and the front desk woman was just so rude. And she was comparing our parents ability to be prepared to HER ability to parent.

I scheduled for a piercing appointment and I had went all the way into the shop and waited about 10 minutes there until they told me my piercer was out sick and didn’t let me know before hand. I had to put in a deposit for the piercing which they said they’d refund and it’s been over 3 weeks and I’ve gotten nothing and haven’t been able to contact the manager so they just took my money after not letting me know before hand that no one was there to do the piercing for me. Very professional people until it comes to a mistake that’s been made on their part.

I wont go to anyone else for piercings as long as I live here!Jane is a perfectionist, which is exactly what you want from anyone modifying your body. Ive gotten several piercings here over the years and have always been satisfied!

We stopped by to see if they had time for a walk-in piercing. They told us they did but we realized my daughter had forgotten her ID at home. They told us to run home and get it and come right back. Which is exactly what we did. We were back about 20 minutes later. The man that had told us to come back had left for the day and had not passed any of it along. The woman that was then in said she was leaving for lunch and that we needed an appointment anyway. I so we get to waste a significant portion of our day running around when they could’ve just told us we needed an appointment to begin with. Will definitely take my business elsewhere.

I like this place. The staff is always nice kind & very professional! and am always impressed by the amazing customer service provided. Nate did amazing job with my tattoo i told him what I wanted and he did. I love his art work he is a great guy he find a reasonable price of the Art piece. Honestly if I can rate this shop a million star I would but only let me do 5.honestly I recommend people if they are getting pierced or getting tatted hundred percent get it here

This piercing was one of the least painful things I have ever done. It was quick and clean, and all expectations have been far surpassed. Liz is very talented and very comfortable to talk to. They also knew what to do should someone pass out (I didnt, thankfully!) and sometimes phlebotomists dont even know! It also looks absolutely wonderful. Thank you guys!

Mo is great! Everyone was friendly, for my nipple done and have had no issues. She even helped me get a new stud in my second nose hole that I had thought was closed up. Will definitely be back for more piercings ☺️

I went into tribal rites today for my first tattoo and had the best experience!!! Nathan was my artist and did the most amazing tattoo on my cousin and I. He was so polite and professional and made the process extremely easy. His work is amazing and I would recommend him to anyone!! He is very humble about his work and overall and genuine person! If you are looking at getting a tattoo, definitely get it done by Nathan!! He’s amazing.

Also, the gentleman with the longer reddish hair is super nice and answered all my questions. I cannot remember his name. On that note, the male piercer isnt as friendly, welcoming or inviting... Great service! Took care of me right away with only a small amount of paperwork. So much choice and really pretty stones for the type of jewelry to go in my piercing. Rachel Smith did such a fantastic job talking me through the whole thing. It was a really great time and I love the result. After searching for a good reviewed body piercing location one a Sunday afternoon, I thankfully ran across Tribal Rites Tattoo and Piercing. I want to start with the friendly and bubbly girl working the front. She was ON POINT and knew her stuff. When we walked in there was no sitting room (about 6 or more people) but that did not stop her, she was able to balance everyone walking in, handling payments, and jewelry. She was amazing!!!! Now lets move on the the wonderful lady that did the piercing. She was genuinely excited to be doing my piercing (even if it was just a plain ol nose piercing). Mo has done most of my piercings here at tribal and they all turn out so fantastic. She is so friendly, always has something to talk about, and makes the service so much better. She has great knowledge on jewelry and what would look best. Mo also is always making sure it’s in the proper spot you want it before she takes the next step. My sister and I went today (7/25/19) to get pierced. Zuni helped us and he was quick and professional. In and out in no time flat. Since I love piercings, Ill likely be back soon! Their prices were also great! I got two (verticle nipples) and it was only $60, which is what most places I checked quoted me for just one!

Liz was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. I especially appreciate that I didnt need to be repierced because the original hole was still open and Liz said as much. Im not one to write a review unless its overly awesome or overly awful. I went in to get my nose pierced and I had a great experience! This was my first non-gun piercing so I wasnt sure what to expect. Lauren was incredibly patient with me and made sure I was 100% confident on the location of the piercing before moving forward. Not only was she super patient and kind, but I seriously barely felt it. After watching YouTube videos on nose piercing I was expecting it to be so painful. She was so fast and accurate that I was shocked at just how easy it was! I highly recommend Lauren for any piercings!! Also, Tribal Rites was so clean and sanitary - overall great experience! I got a belly button piercing here and the guy who did the piercing was really nice and the lady at the front was also very kind. I do think some of the prices on the piercings are a little high, but over all great experience. The store its self is really clean and super cool decor.

My mom and I walked in around 1 PM on a Friday for a small tattoo each. Everyone was pleasant and nice. They took us right back and Jaime was our artist. He was so friendly, and made my first tattoo experience wonderful. He was patient and brought our visions to life.

100$ for literally a 3 minute tattoo. A tiny simple black outline of a star. No larger than a dime. $100. Plus they then asked for tip. Ridiculously overpriced. Love paying $100+tip for a $40-$60 tattoo. Will never go there again

I recently went with my sister to get our tongues pierced. Because of the location of my sisters frenulum, we were concerned about how it would affect the piercing. Tyler was very informative about the issue and wouldnt move forward unless she was certain about continuing. Overall, he was very friendly and professional which made for a great experience for both of us. The ladies at the front desk got us in and out in a timely manner and were very pleasant. We will definitely be coming back in the future.

No complaints on service, but inventory could use a little work.i went in yesterday and had my nose pierced. the girl at the register and the guy who did the piercing were both very friendly, polite, and helpful. everything seemed clean/well sanitized. i had been planning on walking out with a few pieces of jewelry for my new piercing, but they were all out of the most common sizes. ill be going back in six weeks once my piercing is healed; hopefully they have the sizes then.

Liz was absolutely amazing. I just needed a new piece of jewelry and she knew what size and length I needed instantly with one glance. She put it in for me and it’s been perfect ever since. Super skilled and personable. Highly recommend.

My mom and I went and they got her in very quickly. But the workers are very flighty and nothing seems very guaranteed there. We enjoyed the tattoo, but the after care was not explicitly explained. We had made it known that it was my moms first tattoo and yet rather than verbal instructions and helpful tips on how to put the ointment on, we got told not to use a lot and were given a flyer with information. While the flyer was appreciated, sometimes it can be better to hear it from the experts.Mike though was very kind and did a very good job. He did the tattoo in no more than ten minutes and freehanded it to perfection. Overall a satisfying experience though slightly lacking. We would go back.

The tattoo artist Nate did an amazing job on me and my friends tattoo’s. He has great line work and did an amazing job on a bee and flowers I got on my right leg. He is really the only artist that I know I will go to for all of my tattoo’s because he knows what he is doing and I know he will do a great job. Actually going there again soon to get another nature tattoo!! The people who work there are amazing as well and it’s a very nice and welcoming environment. For someone who is nervous to get anything done for the first time I would definitely go here, they make you feel comfortable and welcomed.

Jared is my tattoo artist. I would follow him to any tattoo parlor. I have been getting tattoos by Jared almost weekly for a year and a half. The crew at Tribal Rites is awesome and they treat me like family. The shop is always clean and in good order. In the year and half that Ive been coming here Ive met the manager once. Unforgettable. He kept interrupting my tattoo session with his stories and even pulled my artist away to help him fix his motorcycle. I thought he was completely unprofessional. I still give the shop 5 stars for everyone else who works there.

Tribal Rites has great employees with great customer service. They are very personable and informative. Ive been here twice now for piercings and I come in nervous but they make you feel better about the whole thing. They are very serious about sanitation which I think is a wonderful thing because not a lot of places talk about it, but when you hear it out loud you have more trust knowing that they are doing what they are suppose to. Only reason I didnt give 5 stars is they are picky about certain tattoos. I wanted to get a smaller one and the guy told me he had to make it at least 10 times the size of it which made no sense but anyways. Besides that check em out!

Getting my tattoo work from Jared Orland is great. He gets a lot done in the time you have booked with him. The tattoos he did for me have become my favorite. They are really clear and bold, and they just look awesome from a distance and up close. He worked with the ideas that I had and cleaned them up and made them better than what I had started with in mind, so hes good to work with if you have something in your head that you want to get on your skin.The shop itself is clean and has a cool vibe. It highly recommend it.

Went in for a simple nose piercing. Was offered a nice variety of jewelry options. My piercer, Kevin Coleman was very kinda and gentle. He guided me through the piercing in a way that I didnt feel any pain. Treated both my mother and I as if we were all friends, and overall it was a great experience. I love Tribal Rites and Im definitely going to return for my other mods.

I came to Tribal Rites to ask a few questions and browse some of their jewelry selection for a new piercing of mine. The staff was immediately welcoming and Pnut, one of their piercing artists, really answered all of my questions thoroughly regarding my new piercing. He definitely went the extra mile and made sure I was comfortable and confident in what I wanted. Seriously one of the best customer service experiences Ive had. We brought a couple 8 years olds in for their first ear piercing experience. Tyler was who we worked with and he was amazing, so good and patient with both girls. He was kind and patient when the girls were nervous. I was also very impressed with the girl working the front desk. I wish I had gotten her name. She heard one of the girls upset and brought skittles back to distract her. Great experience. I will never have my girls pierced anyplace else.

Elizabeth was AMAZING. I went in to have a dermal (not done by her) removed that had sunken and rotated 90 degrees under the skin. No part of the dermal was visible and hadn’t been for months. She was able to remove the dermal all while making a painful process a pleasant experience. If you are looking to get pierced- GO TO ELIZABETH! I’ll be back to get my dermal replaced when my skin heals.

Really great local business. I had my ears stretched to have captive bead earrings put back in after had taken them out for a few years. Staff were knowledgeable and friendly, knew exactly what I needed and at more than reasonable rates. Ill return in 6 to 8 weeks to purchase new jewelry and to have my ears stretched up to the next size. Highly recommended.

I’ve been coming here for years to get various piercings and have always have had a great experience! Most recent visit was for a piercing removal and the bigger guy who was a piercer seemed like our request was annoying and passed us off the the blonde at the front desk. She helped my fiancée and I right away and was super awesome. If it wasn’t for the dude I would have given 5 stars.

Came in with fearful teen for a nose piercing. Had two amazing ladies working this evening! Rachel was her piecer and she was so wonderful! Helped to walk her through it, gave a great story for distraction and after care instructions! Personally I will be returning for my new piercings an wiggling my toes! Thank you Rachel!! My husband got a amazing tattoo donn by Dean, at such a fair price, i also got my nipples pierced by someone named Ben, he was awesome and made me feel comfortable. Shop was very clean, everyone was friendly.

Ive had all my piercings done here except one. The piercers are always nice, quick, and informative. I would highly suggest this place for piercings, not so much for tats. I went in to see about getting a small flower tattooed behind my ear. The guy was incredibly rude. He belittled and laughed at me the entire time and didnt even want to try to compromise or suggest something else.

Absolutely love this place! They did my septum years ago and today did my nostril. Girl (sorry forgot her name) got it it exactly even with my other piercing. Will be back!!

Tattoo artist Vincent was very professional, friendly and meticulous. The place was very clean and all if the staff was eager to help. I have a few tats and got something simple, took my son with me for his first tattoo and was done by Mike. Mike was amazing, my son is super happy with the work, lines are super clean and my first timer had a great experience. Would recommend either artist and the facility to anyone looking for good art work in a clean professional environment.

Chris did an INCREDIBLE job working on a tattoo of mine. He took the tattoo from something I was embarrassed of to something I was PROUD of. Really great. Also in general, very clean shop and friendly staff. I will be using them permanently now!!

I came in super nervous for my navel piercing a couple of nights ago. However, Liz made it such a wonderful experience and I felt very confident in her knowledge about piercings and their aftercare. The first thing she had my friend and I do was show her our belly buttons to make sure we had the correct anatomy for the piercing, which helped calm me down as this showed she had prior experience with navel piercings. Right before I got pierced, I was extremely anxious, but Liz talked me through the process right up to the actual piercing, and made sure I didnt feel like I was being rushed. After I got pierced, I started to feel lightheaded and sick to my stomach, so she had me lie down, gave me some water and a glucose tablet, and told me a couple of stories she experienced while being a piercer in order to distract me from the nausea I was feeling. I know I can be a very squeamish and anxious customer, but Liz gives a lot of positive reinforcement and made me super comfortable during the whole experience. For any more of my piercings, Ill be back to see her for sure! :)

My brother and I got tattoos here about a month ago by Mike Myers and we couldnt be happier. We had a great experience, and will be going back. We came in on a Saturday and they were busy but still made time to hear our idea and book us an appointment for the next day. Everyone there was great and made us feel welcome.

Got my nipples pierced by Mo. I was a little nervous but she was so wonderful and professional and made me feel super good about it. Process was fast and surprisingly didnt hurt as much as I thought it would. Will definitely return for future piercings 😊

My 8yo daughter loves her new earrings!! She had them done at the mall when she was 5 but after a lot of hard work from keeping them from getting infected, we had to take them out. I decided this time, they would be done with a 16g needle, implant grade barbells with cute little gems (still look like regular earrings) and a professional piercer! I called this afternoon about getting my daughters ears pierced and spoke to Lauren, she recommended we come in and have a consultation so that she could meet my daughter and feel comfortable that she knew all of the responsibilities of her newly pierced ears.I thought this was amazing since its one thing if mom tells her, but completely different coming from another adult.Our experience was so great while we were there. She took 10 minutes to sterilize everything. At the mall all they do is wipe the guns down with alcohol, if that-ewww gross. She thoroughly explained the entire process to my daughter and even played disney music for her! My daughter even said the needles hurt less. The price was right around the same price that they charge at the mall too :) Overall A+! If youre thinking about getting your kids ears pierced and theyre a bit older or mature, do yourself a favor and just call Lauren! Such a healthier piercing and much easier to take care of then regular earrings.

I go to Liz Murphy at Tribal Rites for all of my piercings. Shes so good, I dont allow anyone else to put holes in my body. I love the fact that she locates piercings based on the anatomy of your body and places them to minimize the chances of migration or failure. Ive used other piercers in the past, and the piercings I get from Liz have always healed more quickly and without any trouble. Go see Liz - you wont be sorry!

The receptionist was incredibly rude and unhelpful. After a rough start, she told us that she would not charge us a stretching fee then added it to the bill seconds after. Overall we had a terrible experience here. The piercer himself was good but the jewelry the receptionist gave him for me to use was too short and I had to change it before it could start to heal. Not sure if I will go back to this shop to get pierced again. Very disappointed

Ive had two piercings done here and both of them were perfect. The piercer was fast and answered all my questions and helped me post piercing when I had an issue with my nose ring. These guys are awesome, highly recommend

I always trust this Tribal Rites. Ive had two tattoos and three piercings done here and Ive never had an issue. The staff is very professional, knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Not to mention I get complements on my tattoos on a regular basis because theyre so well done. If youre going to make a permanent alteration to your body this is the place you want to get it done. And get it done properly.

My first visit was awesome....I got a nose piercing. The earring fell through. Returned and had another earring put in, along with an ear cartilage piercing done. The back, at some point fell off my ear piercing and I was left with just the earring on my pillow. I called to price getting a back ONLY for the earring. She quoted me $14.00 for a back. Never mind!

My friend and I went to get tattoos with Vincent. Not only did he do a fantastic job, but he was super friendly and offered better aftercare advice than either of us had ever been given from an artist. We are both super happy with our pieces, and would love to go back. Thanks!

I recently went in with a vague idea of what I wanted, and was so happy to have met with Tommy for consult.Not only is he approachable, but he also listens very well to suggestions and ideas. He managed to take my incomplete idea and make a beautiful tattoo out of it. He is so easy to work with, and answers and questions you may have. He was very gentle and fast with his work, and it came out amazing.I also got to see how respectful he is to other peoples tattoo choices. I definitely will be going back to him for future ink projects I have planned.

The only good experience Ive had at this shop was with their female piercer - any other time Ive gone in the people there have been rude and really unhelpful. I also purchased Jewelry from them, and the person who sold it to me failed to mention that it was for a bottom bellybutton piercing instead of the top. I hadnt used the jewelry, and when I went into return it the next day they wouldnt let me. So Im out $30 because of their sales person, and will definitely not be going back.

Took my 15 year old daughter in today to get her nose and upper ear pierced. Fantastic shop.clean friendly and the man who did her piercing was completely professional. He took his time to make sure everything was as she wanted and made sure she understood the care involved.

I liked my experience. Just got my tragus pierced. I asked the dude if I had enough to pierce and he said yeah. When he placed the dot I said cool that looks good, and then he pushed it in closer to my face another millimeter or two. I think its too close now but Ill let it heal and see whats up.

My nose piercing closed up after the ring came out. I called Tribal Rites and they were able to get me in and gage it out. Mo was amazing and walked me through everything she was doing. They also have an amazing allergen free jewelry.

My in person experience was very professional and felt well informed. I went in and got a double nose piercing and a septum. I liked the lady who handled me as I didnt feel hardly anything. As weeks go by, my septum is the only piercing to heal. I researched and called in , about my delay healing and bumps on my nostril piercing. The piercers at the shop adamantly tells me how its normal and so on. I listen to them thinking they know whats best. This is not my first piercing, so it was not normal to have this occur with my nostril. My labret push pins were both jammed in by the piercer, when she put them in. A piece of my skin was clipped to the pirceing because it pulled out when I got the jewlery out. What happened because I went to a doctor, was the jewlery in my nostril was too fitted, which then started to cut into the tissue. This then caused hypertrophic scaring, or inflammation and delayed healing. I confirmed this with my doctor. It was the biggest trouble taking out my piercing because the pierecer jammed them so hard. It took me and my doctor hours to take out 1, mind you in a medical office. I am so sad at the amount of money and trust Ive put into tribal rites . I dont think my piercer was horrible but I do think she didnt know how to put in my labrets.

I was in town for the weekend and had a simple tat design that I wanted to get done. I walked in and everyone there was very nice and inviting. One of the cleanest shops I’ve been to. My artist Jared was awesome. Talked with me about my design and gave me some great suggestions. Definitely recommend this shop!

Jared is amazing and some quality work with exceptionally clean line work and great color. I live in Denver but will gladly drive up here to see Jared when Im ready for my next tattoo. The shop is also great. Its nice and clean and everyone is very professional.

The staff was friendly but when I went in for a dermal, and the guy had a difficult time with it. Then after complained about being busy and too tired to be working and told the other employee working that he refused to do anymore of those piercings again because they were too difficult while I was in the room still. She also immediately asked if he had to pierce it twice as soon as she looked at the piercing. It hasnt been healing the way it should be, continues to hurt and Im way more bruised around it than I should be. Now, despite cleaning it three or more times a day it has become infected. Needless to say, Im very upset with my experience.

Good place to go to for piercings. Liz is the only person Ill let pierce me, shes even had to fix previous piercings from other places and theyve healed quicker. Definitely recommend coming here

I’ve have my nosed pierced here twice and just got a tattoo recently by Mike Myers and he had lots of patience. He was very nice and did a great job. I was very comfortable and definitely recommend.

This place is fantastic! Xavier was incredibly helpful, and widened an earlobe hole that had shrunk to the point that I could not get an earring through it. Not only did he ensure that I didnt have to get it re-pierced, but he did it quickly and for free! The shop is incredibly clean, and I cant recommend Tribal Rites enough.

I got 2 piercings here almost 2 months ago and jake was an amazing piercer, he was so kind and made me feel so comfortable and did a great job. My piercings are healing amazing and look great,I cant wait to come back and I reccomend jake to everyone

EDIT: I went back to let them try again for the THIRD time and it still came out slanted. I decided to go elsewhere! I went to get my belly button pierced for the first time ever here by Kevin. I let a few days go by and I noticed it was slanted. So I went back in and he took it out and told me to go back in a week, so I did. He made sure it was straight, or at least I thought. I let it heal for about two weeks, then again it was slanted!!!! I go in after being told to come back in a month today and she told me I couldnt get it for another 8 weeks. Which is weird because i dont think shes a piercer and my naval is healed, previous piercer told me as long as I cant feel any scar tissue inside, then we can pierce it. Not only did they mess up my piercing, theres a scar because all of this mess THEIR piercer caused, and I have to wait even longer now, meaning theres no point now to even go back, since I wont even be able to enjoy my summer in the water. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!

I got my first tattoo here about a year ago, and I love it so much. Also got my nose pierced here, and got an industrial piercing, and everyone was very sweet and helpful, and answered all of my questions. The gentleman who did my tattoo is no longer there, but I plan on looking into the other artists for the next one since its such an awesome environment!

Not only rude, a liar! If you call me racist for telling my sister to take the baby to “the Mexican lady” your coworkers mam, were smoking something different.You were inside.I walked out because it was clear what you had planned from the moment we walked up.You all had a look of “ oh there they are” I’ve worked in customer service enough to know.We were 10 minutes late, the girl came in and said we were 15 minutes late to which we responded 10.You not only have terrible bedside manner, you are lying publicly to make an excuse for your unprofessionalism.I’m not going to bring up race because it’s clear who has a problem with race.

I went in to get three cartilage piercings done on my right ear to complete a series I have been working on for the past year. The man who did my piercings (I unfortunately cannot remember his name) was alright, just a standard piercer. But once I got to the chair, things began going downhill. It took him 3 tries to understand what I wanted, even though the progression on my ear makes it clear. He then begins piercing. Everything preparing was fine but the actual needlework was the most painful piercing I have experienced (these three were my 13th, 14th, and 15th so I have plenty of experience.) He pushed the needle through slowly, even stopping halfway through my ear to readjust his trajectory. By the time he got to the 3rd one, I was ready to call it quits I was hurting so badly. The biggest problem that came about was the fact that he used an 8mm bar that was clearly too short for the final piercing. He refused to listen to me and completed the piercing painfully. Even after 3 weeks, my ear remained extremely swollen, particularly where the 3rd piercing was. It got so swollen it popped the ball off and attempted to grow over the too-small post. I ended up having to get that one re-pierced and i had to use antibiotics to cure the infection resulting from the poor work. I have been to the Boulder location for my daith and nose and they were wonderful but I do not think I will ever return to this location.

I had my over lip Pierced... It swelled up way too much. Had to get new jewelry to accommodate, using externally threaded jewelry irritated and hurt it so much! Kept cleaning and it still wouldnt heal. Just went to iris and had them look at it. They were really shocked about how low the exit was on my lip and said thats why it wont heal right :( so I had to take it out.... Will be going back to iris in a couple of weeks to get it redone...

Artist David booked us without bothering to double check his schedule before confirming, which is basic professionalism, and then cancelled on us 20 minutes before our appointment. He said he forgot to put another client in his schedule, so now I feel bad for them because Im guessing hes unprepared for their appointment too—if they even exist. My guess is he didnt want to do ours last minute and lied about it. When I pointed out I would have appreciated if he had double check before confirming, he sent a long defensive message basically saying it was rushed on our part and I should have planned ahead better and spent more time thinking about what I wanted on my body for the rest of my life. I said It takes 30 seconds to check your schedule and Ive wanted this for seven years. Have a nice day. In short: glad his art isnt on my body and theres plenty of politer, more professional ways to admit you made a mistake.
