Velvet Panther Tattoo and Piercing

My hubby and I have both gotten tattooed by scooby, he’s an amazing artist and we love him! We recently brought our 4 year old daughter in to get her ears pierced for her birthday! I cannot recommend Becky enough y’all! She was so amazing, and spent so much time explaining the process to our sweet girl. We got one ear done and our kiddo decided she only wanted one earring 😂 Becky was so patient and we were able to come back the next day and get the second one done! Highly recommend her to do your kiddo’s ears. She was amazing!

By far the cleanest, most organized, and sanitary shop I have ever been to!!!Becky the owner is amazing!!! She really cares for her clients, my sugar dropped just after my piercing, and I was barely able to walk, Becky was so caring and attentive, she would not let me leave until I sat there, ate a bag of trail mix and a bottle of water...You do not find this kind of service in a business anymore, let alone with people in general...I would recommend The Velvet Panther to anyone!!!

First off this is more than a tattoo shop. Becky and Scoobie are more like family they are very professional at what they do. Becky is the best at doing piercings and Scoobie is the best tattoo artist around. Anyone who wants or needs a piercing or a tattoo go see them I guarantee you won’t leave disappointed.

I wish I could give Becky more than 5 stars! She has now done three piercings for me; one on my nose and two on my ear, (daith & helix), and they all look fantastic. She is one of the most incredibly sweet people you will ever meet, very personable, but she is also an absolute professional and remarkable at her craft. The saying, “you got what you pay for”, is beyond true with her.She goes the extra mile and does not try to rush you through like you are on an assembly line. Becky truly cares about her clients and actually listens to what you have to say. She explains the process of what she is doing and will give you an honest opinion about a piercing you may want. If she doesn’t think it is a good area, or that it might not heal properly, she will let you know instead of just taking your money and doing it.Becky takes her time to set up all of her equipment and to make sure the placement of each piercing will be exactly where it should go. Everything she uses comes out of sterile packaging, which she opens in front of you, so you don’t have to worry about anything being cross-contaminated. She also puts on a new pair of gloves before she touches anything. Once the piercing is done, which literally takes a few seconds, she will make sure to tell you how to care for your piercing and gives you the items to take care of it. And if you have any issues or concerns, after you leave, she makes herself available to you.If you are looking for a high quality piercing that will last and look great, you definitely will not be disappointed!

My daughter got her nose pierced here and it went so amazing we decided to come back to get her belly button done for her 16th birthday! The piercing placement is perfect! The entire process is very informative and comforting so it’s easy to relax. The atmosphere and decorative measures in the back area are welcoming. This place feels more professional and upscale compared to your typical piercing/tattoo shop. It’s definitely a go to if your someone who has anxiety and doesn’t like loud crowded areas like my daughter. You can tell this place does take pride in their work. Shop is very clean and sanitary! She opens everything brand new in front of you and her jewelry is beautiful.

The best shop owners and piercing experience that Ive had before! It was quick and painless, she knew exactly what she was doing and I am having very little to no swelling or pain only a week out! This place is also beautiful and so clean on the inside! Cannot recommend enough! Thank yall again!

Scoobie is an amazing artist! I told him what I wanted and he customized an absolutely beautiful landscape of Moab, Utah. The shop is impeccably clean and knowing that he uses only the most aseptic techniques is very reassuring. I have been to many tattoo shops but this has to be the most professional and cleanest I have ever been in. Far exceeded my expectations.

I got my first tattoo from velvet panther, I didn’t realize at the time how slow and overpriced they were and when I got my second tattoo, unfortunately It was also overpriced and the artist didn’t try to find a stopping point, he just stopped after 4 1/2 hrs. I spoke with several artists and all said 2 1/2 hours tops for what I got and the price would be exactly half of what velvet panther charged and everyone of them said it was the worst work they’ve seen from a shop.The reviews seemed good at the time and the owners seem cool but that quickly changed.

I got my tongue pierced by Becky shes the owner and the piercer for velvet panther. I had a fantastic experience. I was super nervous but she walked me through everything and answer my million and one questions i had. Definitely going back for more piercings.

The lady was super nice, and super sweet to my daughter tonite whenever she went and got her bellybutton pierced. My daughter was nervous, but she spoke to her the whole time and explain everything step by step. Would definitely recommend them, and Ill be using them again real soon!!

We just took our 5 year old to get her ears pierced, and the experience was incredible. Becky was so kind, patient, and thorough. Ive gotten 4 piercings and 1 tattoo here, soon to be 2 🙃, and I absolutely love this place! I love the atmosphere, the people, and pricing is very reasonable. Also love the fact that no matter what service youre going in for you can be sure its going to be sanitary and a very clean process, and if youre a germaphobe like me youll appreciate that. The owner is awesome! And everyone working there is very knowledgeable and professional.

I drove an hour to this place after looking through some options online and I can say it is most definitely worth it! Everyone there is absolutely fantastic and welcoming! I got a pair of beautifully done wings on the majority of my back by Cody. I bright in a picture of wings I had been drawing and wanting as a tattoo for several years and he touched them up and made them even better. It took quite a bit of time but I cant explain how happy I am with the results and how excited I am to show them off! Thank you guys so much! :D

VERY comfortable environment and very friendly staff! It was only my 2nd professional tattoo (other than 1 stick and poke) and upon finding that out Scoobie was SO patient and gentle even though I know I wasn’t the best canvas to work on. Left with an amazing tattoo and experience! The tattoo I wanted was very small but I wanted a bit of detail as well, he managed to figure out how to do EXACTLY what I wanted even though the odds were against me! And they fit me in spur of the moment and they didn’t even have to do that for me! Will definitely come again! Well worth the drive!

My husband and I went here for the Valentines Day special, and they were amazing! Fast, efficient, friendly and very reasonably priced! Travis did our Star Wars symbols and my dogs paw print and is a very friendly, personable guy who made us feel right at home and relaxed. We will definitely be back!

I had a terrible piercing done by a different shop, I came to becky seeking help and she delivered. Within minutes my ear felt 10x better then when I walked in. Scheduled two weeks from now to fix up the bottom part.Great care and clean.

Scooby is one of the best tattoo artists in town. He can replicate almost tattoo style you are looking for and he uses a Photoshop program to make your stencil so that it comes out perfectly. His wife is amazing too and is a very professional piercer. If youre looking for a tattoo artist with amazing skills I highly recommend velvet panther.

I scheduled a tattoo for Friday a week in advance. Come Friday I was not informed they had cancelled and “assumed” that I wasn’t coming. Very irritating and will be taking my business elsewhere

Today was my first time there for a nose piercing and the place was so clean, staff was so nice and the lady who done my piercing was so kind and sweet and as gentle as she could be with me being a scaredeeeeee cat!!
