Couture Tattoo and Body Piercing

I had never had any piercings before in my life, but I decided I was going to finally change that the other day. I booked an appointment the same day with Shawn and he hooked me up! I decided to go with my nose, eyebrow and both of my nipples, and Shawn did an amazing job! He made sure I was comfortable and okay the entire time, informing me about what he was going to do before each piercing. He even had me do some practice breaths and things to prepare me before each one. Shawn also made sure that everything was sterile, and his needles were so sharp that it actually hurt less than I was expecting in general. Painful in some ways still of course, but not excruciatingly so. It’s now two days later and everything still looks and feels great - not even any redness or anything. They all turned out great! If you’re looking to get piercings done for the first time make sure to book an appointment with Shawn. He’s a cool dude!

About a month ago, I walked in to Couture hoping to get my Daith piercing. Not only did they make it happen same day, but the experience was top notch all the way around. Shawn was absolutely phenomenal to work with, from checking the anatomy of my ears to talking me through every step! I didn’t even know I’d been pierced! Amazing technique and honestly he’s so easy to talk with and fun to be around. Cannot say enough good about Shawn, the shop, and all!Tonight I went back again hoping to see Shawn, and was thrilled that he had time to pierce me again today! So I had him do my second Daith and once again I am thrilled with the process and the result. I will happily send everyone I know to Couture! Thank you guys so much!! I will definitely be back again.

We LOVE Couture. We have had nothing but awesome experiences here with Shaun and Cassidy. Everything is always very clean and we leave well informed on our piercing care.

My wife, daughter, and I have all received tattoos from Eddy. He does amazing work, and will give you exactly what you ask for, and makes it even better. Eddy is kind, professional, and has a very nice touch when applying your artwork. The studio is very well kept and a nice friendly atmosphere. I will be coming back again and again to see Eddy for my artwork. He has earned my trust and respect. Outstanding artist, and I could not be happier!

I came in the first time for a simple Viking vulknot on my hand . . They hooked me up with Scott . Awesome great.. the tattoo started to heal and I could clearly see where he didnt put ink in the thick bold lines.. I decided to come back for another tattoo.. sort of hoping it wouldnt be Scott . It was scheduled with Scott. And the tattoo he put on my other hand looks nothing like the one I had them print out . . Never again... amateur hour at this place..

I called beforehand to make sure there was an available artist. The receptionist was very kind and assuring. I showed up 45 minutes later and described what I wanted. I was met by a tattoo artist that had some awesome stuff to show for his work. His name is Scott Guappone. He listened to everything I said and ended up coming up with a beautiful design that turned out better than I had even envisioned. He was thorough, polite, respectful and accommodating. I would highly recommend this tattoo shop and this particular tattoo artist. Price was fair and customer service was on point.Ps: my tattoo turned out beautiful, healed beautifully and I’m so happy with it.Wish I knew how to post pictures here cause I would !

Sean was great with piercing my nose. He made me feel so comfortable and it barely hurt! Would highly recommend him! The guy behind the counter was also very kind and helpful

I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced staff ! Very clean environment, and Shawn explained everything to me before he started doing the piercing . Updated review 2024: Returned to get a tattoo from Scott and will absolutely be back yet again. Im obsessed with his skill level and his attention to detail with communicating and truly caring what youre asking for and alignment and everything. I got watercolor this time and cannot speak highly enough of his skill level. His line work is SO clean, his blending and watercolors are perfection, and his demeanor puts you at ease during the whole process- you can trust him with your design and can check out his amazing designs too! Cant wait to come back for an even bigger piece!Below is from 2023: No complaints. It was incredibly busy, and this business ran so well and smoothly. Each artist was very clean with their station, each person we spoke to was kind and professional, and the tattoos were great. We will definitely be back! One of our group sat w Eddy and 2 of us (including me) were with Scott. Ill absolutely be booking with Scott again and the person who was inked by Eddy recommended him as well!

Did a wonderful job! Got my belly button pierced, they were very friendly and talked you through everything. Shawn was also very thorough. A nice and clean place.

What a great experience I had. Shawn was very helpful on which ear piercings would worked the best for me. The daith or the rook, well I went with the rook. He was very patient and walked you through the whole process. I would recommend him in a heart beat and will be going back!

Shawn is always incredible. He did my septum, lip, nostril and a jewelry change and he made sure I was comfortable the entire time. He explained what he was doing before and while he was doing it and was very encouraging and reassuring. Highly recommend, I couldn’t be happier! Will definitely be back.

A huge shoutout to Shawn who did my septum piercing today - if I could give him 1000 stars, I would. I rarely leave reviews, but I couldn’t go to sleep tonight without saying thank you for the incredibly simple, respectful, hygienic, and easy-going experience I had with him. He was incredibly knowledgeable, and made me feel inherently comfortable being there. I’m usually very touch-adverse and have a hard time being close to people, but I felt right at home with Shawn, and he was super respectful and considerate of my wants and needs. I’ll definitely be going back for any future piercings :-)

Myself, my two daughters and my sister came here for various ear piercings as a fun “girls day” adventure. To say I was blown away by the staff and feel of the place is an understatement. Not only was everyone so incredibly friendly- they also immediately got rid of any apprehension and anxiety that we may have had. And the care they took with my young daughters was top notch.Cassidy did all of our piercings and she was AMAZING. We all felt so comfortable with her. And while Shawn didn’t do any of our work today, I was able to witness the incredible “bedside manner” he had with his clients as well.I have had many ear and body piercings over the years and this was by far and away the best experience I’ve ever had. Thank you all for making this such a fun and memorable experience for myself and the young women in my family. Can’t wait to come back!!

Lovely clean establishment with helpful staff. Kaila is a fabulous artist and very gentle. The pricing was pretty decent and they do accommodate walk in customers. Would definitely recommend this Tattoo Artist.

Yesterday was my third time at this shop & every time I am blown away! My first and second tattoo, done by Eddie & Bryon, have exceeded my expectations. It’s copy paste of what I envision, it’s like they are mind readers.The piercers are amazing too, I got a horrible piercing done by another shop and was very skeptical to get it redone. Shawn sat down with me, made sure I was comfortable with placement, & carefully guided me through the whole experience. The two girls who came with me, who also got pierced by Shawn, could say the same thing! (In the photo my tragus has a lil bump but that’s my fault for changing it too early, sorry Shawn I got too impatient lol)Everyone here from the front desk to the tattoo artists/piercers are some of the nicest people I have ever met! As someone with major social anxiety, I was shocked on how comfortable the employees make the experience! Cannot recommend couture enough to anyone who asks!!

Took my daughter here to get her second piercing on her lobes. The gentleman who pierced her ears couldnt have been more friendly and helpful. He was incredibly knowledgeable and communicated what he was doing very well. I will definitely be back. Thanks to them for the great experience for my daughter.

Shawn, the piercer, is amazing! He so sweet, calm, and gentle and really takes the time to explain the process. My daughter has her nose pierced but wanted the other side done too. She has an anxiety disorder but I knew Shawn would take care of her- and he did! I also got another piercing that day!

I’ve heard good things about couture, but unfortunately my experience was just ok. I inquired online about a tattoo/cover-up in pretty good detail and included pictures. After going back in forth via email to see if they would even consider doing the cover-up, I was asked to come in an in-person consult. I went down immediately. When I got there it wasn’t busy at all, I spoke to 3 different people regarding the online submission, nobody had a clue who I had been talking to via email, or who told me to come in for the consult. None of them seemed confident in their skills or interested in doing the cover-up but handed me a card of one of their artists (who wasn’t there at the time) to contact and asked if I’d come back in the next day for another consult with them. I emailed the artist as soon as I left at the address on his card and asked when would be a good time to come in for the consult and still haven’t heard anything back. That was like 3 days ago. I scheduled elsewhere.

Wow. Today was amazing. I took my daughter in to get her ears pierced and I was blown away by the kindness from every person we spoke to. They explained everything to her and they took their time to make sure everything was just perfect. They comforted her and were so encouraging and polite. I personally had my nose pierced here years ago and Id recommend Couture to anyone for piercing. Fantastic job. Clean, friendly and diligent. ❤️

I want to shout-out Bryon and Cassidy for their amazing work with tattoos/piercings. I went to Bryon to get a tattoo I have been wanting for years and told him my idea. I was pretty nervous so didnt explain it very well but he somehow managed to put my vision on paper still! I only got half of it done and go back soon for the second half and I cant wait until its fully done!!! I have gotten 2 piercings from Cassidy now. She did my labret and my tragus. She did amazing on both! She makes sure its lined up absolutely perfect and is very quick with it! Absolutely love them both!!!

Cassidy was so kind and professional. Went for 2nd piercings with my mom. I would recommend her to anyone.

Got an amazing tattoo by Amanda Boone here this summer and for christmas I just got my moms ears re-pierced by Shawn. Phenomenal job. Made sure she was comfortable for the entire ordeal. I really appreciate the sterility of Couture. The jewelry may seem pricey, but you get what you pay for. I got a new earring for my cartilage and it has not felt irritated once since they put it in for me!

I went to Couture for my nose piercing and two tattoos. They were very professional all three times. In fact, the ball on my piercing fell off and they replaced it for free. All three times they talked me through what they were going to do, showed me a sketch of the artwork, and made me feel relaxed. Bryon did both my tattoos and I don’t think I could be happier. I thought I was going to pass out from my nose piercing, but they laid me down, gave me water and helped me breath through it. Everyone was kind and relaxed. Very stress-free experiences.

I absolutely love Curt! Hes been tattooing me for years! But everyone there is very nice and so talented!

I had an amazing experience with Shawn the piercer today. a friend and I went in for daith piercings. I already have one side done from another shop, and let me tell you it was a whole different experience. Shawn is so much better. He was so personable and transparent with everything he was doing, he explained everything and told us EXACTLY what he was doing when doing it. I will never go anywhere else. my friend only has her ear lobes pierced and was so nervous but, he did so good at keeping her calm and making her feel comfortable. he’s truly amazing. the jewelry they have here is also great quality. Got my first Tattoo here and the experience was fantastic! Bryon was my artist and while I went in unknowledgable on prices and the process, I received every last cent of what I paid for, leaving a cleanly lined final product of exactly what I wanted. I was very nervous about getting my nose pierced however I had wanted to do it for years and I’m so glad I chose Couture!Shawn made me feel immediately comfortable and was so professional from start to finish. Shawn is a 11 out of 10 and I will recommend him to everyone!

I have been wanting to get my nose pierced for several years but have been too nervous to take the leap.I decided to just do it and was looking for the right person to trust with this. I saw a post in a FB group that I’m in and someone asked for recommendations for someone to do a piercing, and multiple women shared that Cassidy was the best person to trust with a piercing.I saved that thread and liked the Couture page and started seeing their posts in my feed. I have over a dozen tattoos (that I’ve gotten in other states that I’ve lived in), and while I wasn’t looking to get a tattoo, I’ll say I was very impressed by how clean and organized the whole shop was when I went in to get my piercing.I was greeted immediately, and the guy that helped me was very kind, friendly, and when I shared that I was nervous for my piercing appointment, was reassuring. I appreciate how nice he was and how much his kindness put me at ease.Being Friday the 13th, I wasn’t sure how busy they’d be, but I was happy to not have a giant wait (even though I had an appointment). I arrived at 6:30 and by 6:35 I was sitting down waiting to go back for my appointment. I was back in my car at 6:48.The process was super easy, and Cassidy was amazing. She was patient with me, told me what to expect, shared aftercare information, and made sure I was completely comfortable before starting.I absolutely would recommend Cassidy for piercings and when I’m ready for my next tattoo, I’ll definitely look at Couture to see if there’s an artist there that I like. The shop was clean, large, and impressive, and everyone working last night was professional, kind, and friendly.

Also I’ve had healing problems with piercings from other piercers in the past and I have yet to get a bump or have any issues from any of the piercings Cassidy has done for me! I had a consultation scheduled to discuss ideas for a half sleeve. When I arrived, the tattoo artist was tattooing his coworker and I felt as if I was unwanted during the time I had scheduled to talk with him. I set up an appointment with him in 3 weeks- a 4 hour time block I was told. This appointment was canceled less than 24 hours in advance due to “scheduling conflict”. I will say it was very nice that I was given a $25 gift card for the inconvenience along with my deposit returned. They were very quick to email me back which was also nice. Overall, I do not trust them to tattoo a half sleeve on my body and will be looking elsewhere. I recommend Assassin in Akron! They were enthusiastic and professional during my consultation yesterday.

Let me start off by saying: I am TERRIFIED of needles and anything remotely painful. So while I really wanted another piercing on my lobes, I’ve been putting it off for AGES because I was burned before by Claire’s (I was young! I didn’t know any better!)I was just a walk-in, but from the moment I walked in I was treated so kindly. So professionally. They listened to my concerns and fears and really put me at ease.Shawn, the person who pierced my ears, was a literal GODSEND. He walked me through every single step, had me take practice breaths (promised not to “surprise” me and he kept his word!!!) and made me feel so comfortable that when he finally pierced my ears it didn’t hurt!!!!!!! I am actually super embarrassed that I even waited so long to get them done.Long story long, GO TO COUTURE. Shawn and everyone are SO kind, so sweet, and even if you’re like me (terrified) it’s a total breeze. I almost skipped out of there because I was SO happy with the end result. I love this place, and I’m DEFINITELY coming back for some tattoos next!!!!!! Thanks again!!!

Shawn is amazing!! Best piercer I’ve met hands down. I got a double helix piercing and he made everything so easy. He talks you through the whole process and is so easygoing. He also continuously makes sure you’re ok. My mother went with me and she was so nervous about it but he was so sweet and made sure she was comfortable and calm as well. The shop is very clean and the staff are very friendly! It is also very reasonably priced, not super expensive jewelry like some other piercing places. I honestly won’t go anywhere else! Husband and I both came in for a couple of piercings but unfortunately they were booked for the rest of the evening. I was still able to ask some important questions with Cassidy and get an appointment set up for the next day. She. Was. Awesome! She was very friendly and very knowledgeable from beginning to end. The shop was super clean and all staff was friendly and easy to talk to. Shawn was my husbands piercer and was also so awesome with him! Mark ullman is a great tattoo artist, he takes great pride in what he does. He takes his time and puts so much detail in every piece he does. Both of these pieces are from him and I wouldnt go to anyone else. What I like the most about him is that you know and can tell that hes not there just to make money, hes there because he absolutely loves art and puts full effort into every piece. Also, hes a super cool dude and makes you feel super comfortable and really knows what hes doing.

I went a couple months back and also back in December.In December I got my snake bite piercings. My snake bites are amazing in every way. I will admit that this place is a great place to get piercings done, however I would not recommend getting a tattoo here.When I went they wanted me to play 300 dollars (that would be without a tip) for a tattoo barley an inch and a half big, I could deal with that but the artist that was selected to draw up my tattoo came back with something that was completely different. I just wanted the exact photo or something as close as possible. I understand they dont do exacts (or at least thats what I remember from the form) but it was way off and he basically ruined the original context of the tattoo.After waiting around for another design I decided it was not worth it and went someplace else. I was able to get exactly what I wanted for 1/2 the price and it was almost 3 times as big as what I wouldve gotten here.

Had an appointment for a piercing/ counsult. The staff were very nice. Shawn explained everything well with a good sense of humor and made any jitters I had go away. It was such a good experience Im definitely considering other piercings. Will highly recommend.

Super friendly staff and I was a walk in. Shawn was so excellent and explained every step. He ensured I was comfortable with each step and knew how to take care of my piercing. And hes just an excellent person.. would highly recommend. Very enjoyable experience.

I went with my friend and boyfriend, we went half an hour before they close (called and made sure it was okay with everyone) we all really appreciated that they still took us. Shawn was the piercer and he was honestly the best, I have never had a better customer service experience. he was so friendly and knew how to respond in a way to make you comfortable. you can definitely tell that he loves what he does, he is the type of person you want when you are getting a piercing. I will definitely be going back to this place to get more piercing and a tattoo!! I am very pleased with everything aspect of this visit and greatly appreciate them taking us so close to closing.

I cannot express how pleased I have been to work with Shawn! He is such an amazing person with SO MUCH knowledge and experience! He does such a fantastic job of making you feel completely comfortable and and at ease. He is so professional and fully explains every single step. I felt well taken care of and left feeling completely confident in the after care! I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone I know with confidence that he will do a phenomenal job!

3 stars because although the piercer both Shawn and Steph were fantastic with handling, explaining and guiding.. I feel Steph initially may have put to small of a rod in.. it was tight and irritating. A mere mistake and easy fix, which we called about. On the phone the front desk was rude, short and had no customer service or face of the company tact. When we walked in, Shawn took care of it.. reviewed concerns.. really knew how to handle things. Although I feel the rod should have been replaced for no $$, it was not our error, the front explained not so kindly that we got something,we pay for something, I explained, it may have been placed wrong, willing to pay for Shawns service. I did pay $130 for this process and due to, NOT my daughters error, a rod had to replaced.. simple!! How rude she was in the front of the house.. the Face of the company just isnt represented well. My daughter apologized because she was embarrrased how rude and short the front desk was. They had a repeat customer bc my oldest was treated so well and educated about process by Shawn. We did not have the same person up front. They could of had a lifetime customer and they dont!

This was my first time here and I couldnt be happier with my experience. I am already trying to figure out what else I can get done so I can go back. I went in with a friend and got my nose pierced and she ended up getting her tongue pierced for a 3rd time on the spot as a walk in! (I would be reasonable and not always expect this to be possible.. they werent crazy busy when we went) The professional (and he was clearly a professional) who helped us was named Shawn and he made us both feel very welcomed. While I waited for my appointment time he went over my friends request for a 3rd tongue piercing with her and examined her tongue to make sure it was possible and safe while they talked about possible outcomes with each placement. I say all of this because she has multiple other facial piercings and obviously two other tongue piercings and had never had someone so thorough, knowledgeable and transparent with her. She was very impressed. All of the equipment used was clean and high quality and the actual experience of getting my nose pierced for the first time was a breeze with Shawn. The anxiety I had from my rough day at work and the anxiety that comes with getting a new piercing melted away once he got to work. I will definitely be back! Maybe my first tattoo next? Lets see what your artists can do!Also as of right now they ask that you dont bring people with you for appointments, the only reason she came is because she was hoping to get something done as well as a walk in and was definitely fine with waiting in the car if she couldnt get something done and was asked to so be mindful of that. Seating is adequate but limited.

SO happy with this shop! Clean, professional, and the piercer was an absolute gem. My teenaged son was mortified he’d have to sit in a chair at Claire’s to get his ears pierced. Instead he got a sterile procedure by a trained clinician who used stress-reducing breathing techniques to guarantee well-aligned posts. 😍 We also got THOROUGH aftercare instructions and a demonstration. Couture knows their stuff. 100% thrilled with our experience!!

I’ve gone to Cassidy for piercings multiple times and it is always a wonderful experience! She always explains the process to you to make you feel comfortable, she takes the time to reposition you/makes sure the piercing is straight to the best of her ability and she’s a joy to be around. She’s very passionate about her job and you can definitely tell the rest of the staff is as well!

I have been looking at the jewelry at the shop for a while now and the cluster jewels kept catching my eye. Yesterday I finally decided to get my Helix pierced. Cassidy was so helpful and knowledgeable about the jewelry i was choosing. Sean did my piercing and was so kind and gentle, he walked me through the entire process and helped me stay focused. I saw Curtis for a simple walk in. He was polite, friendly and efficient. I was very happy with his work! I would definitely go here again. My experience here was wonderful. Everyone was professional and considerate. My piercer — Shawn — was a delight; he was full of character, very comforting, and it’s evident that he takes his craft seriously. I can’t wait to come back!

I recently had my septum pierced by Shawn and am so pleased with my piercing and experience. The shop was clean and welcoming when I walked in and I was immediately greeted. When I said I wanted my septum pierced Shawn immediately came out to look at my nose and decide whether he felt the piercing would fit my anatomy before I was charged for the service and jewelry. Shawn was personable, welcoming, informative, and made the entire process feel easy and simple. He explained every step along the way and made sure knew what to expect. My piercing was quick and Shawn was even kind enough to wipe my tears as my eyes watered uncontrollably! My new piercing is exactly what I wanted and Im so incredibly pleased Thank! Thank you so much Shawn and couture tattoo!

The woman at the counter took the time to greet every customer and made sure everyone was taken care of and was transparent about cost, wait time, and explaining the jewelry options/quality.The entire staff was super nice and friendly. It was a great environment and beats that “scary tattoo shop” stigma.10/10 experience. The piercer introduced herself and made me feel more like a friend than just another customer which really eased my nerves. She guided me through the entire process to keep me calm. I won’t go anywhere else for my piercings.

Took me awhile to post this because I’m still fuming over a year later about it. Came in last year and got a tattoo by Rich for my only child. A little under a week after getting I looked closely and realized the date was incorrect. I immediately called and was told it could be covered and corrected depending on what I wanted to spend. I spent some time looking around at other places because I was so upset. I decided to give it another shot and came back almost a year later, they knew exactly who I was when I came in and explained what I wanted. I was told to wait while they grabbed Rich, he came out after a few minutes, went into the back for a few more, and then came out to tell me they couldn’t help me and I would have to get it laser removed and then could get it fixed. What?!? Not satisfied at all, especially after what I was originally told. Very unprofessional and ultimately beyond disgusted with what I’m left with forever for a child I adore.

Cassidy was an amazing piercer she talked me through everything she was doing and made sure I felt comfortable the whole time. She made it a pleasant experience overall and I’ll definitely be back for all my future piercings and refer my friends. Thank you!(She did my face dermal and my septum)

Couture has been my go-to place for my piercings and my tattoos! I have multiple of each and I have never one time had a bad experience here! The crew is always fun and engaging, they listen to what you say and are very knowledgeable in their field. Amazing talent and super competitive pricing!!

Had my nose pierced a little over a month ago. I had an existing piercing that I had done myself when I was 14 (cringe worthy, I know). The lady who pierced the other side did a fantastic job with lining the piercing up and I have received multiple compliments everywhere I go! I had even come back to buy a matching piece of jewelry for the other side and I was told that the piercing looks really good from the employees at the shop and they couldnt believe how even the jewelry is! Only downside I ran into was not being properly sized for the second post so I had to throw additional money out for another post today. It falls on myself for not knowing the difference between 5/16 and 3/8, and also falls on the fact that I had pierced my nose myself. I was slightly annoyed at first but it is a small price to pay for my own negligence. The lady this morning was really eager to help correct the issue and I was happy to have the same stud on both sides of my nose.I highly recommend coming here for your next piercing!

Chris did 2 piercings for me. He was friendly, and professional. The place was clean nothing reused he told you what he was doing. Fabulous experience! After a month I went for him to look at them and change the studs to smaller ones and he was able to help me again. His apprentice s awesome too. She is super friendly. Great personality.

This place was amazing! Very kind and accommodating. Went in since my first piercing was done by an inexperienced piercer. Shawn was amazing and gave great advice, took out my old jewelry and told me to come back in a few weeks to get it redone! Super nice people and im excited to hopefully become a regular :)

Brought my daughter in for her first ear piercing today. Shawn was absolutely AMAZING. He took his time, explained the entire process to my daughter, and explained the aftercare process to her as well. Very happy with our decision to choose Couture Tattoo and Body Piercing! Excellent service. My piercer was extremely friendly and professional. She walked me through each step which left me completely understanding of what was happening and when. She checked on me before, during, and after the piercing. I was also VERY impressed with how organized and beautiful the inside of the shop was. For my first time being there, it was an amazing process. I also liked the fact that you can book piercing appointments on Facebook for same day service. They are cash only, however, there is an ATM inside of the shop.

Hello! I meant to post a review sooner! I trusted this place with my first piercing and my dream piercing based on reviews and i was not let down! After going through hard times in life i wanted a change and jumped on the opportunity one day after work. There were a few people ahead of me but when asked if he had time Shawn squeezed me in. I have a terrible anxiety disorder and he did everything to keep my spirits up and make me feel comfortable. He also informed me i had a deviated septum and that it might be a bit difficult but he can do it, and made sure that i knew if he messed it up the first time he will do it again until it was perfect lol. He got it on the first try and i couldnt be more happy with it!! (Now i feel like i need more🥲)

Hi! I got my nose pierced here just a couple days ago and I had one of the best experiences I could’ve imagined. The piercing was not overpriced at all, and I was even late to my appointment and the front desk lady still greeted me with kindness and a smile :). I was really nervous to get my nose pierced but Shawn SERIOUSLY is amazing and he did everything possible to make me comfortable. The piercing didn’t hurt at all. I 100% recommend this place to get a piercing. Also the shop is completely cash only but they have an atm so it’s all good. Just a heads up. Thanks for the amazing experience!!! :))

I’d honestly come back for the experience alone. I got my nose pierced yesterday with Shawn and he’s the BEST! He instantly calmed my nerves with just his presence and walked me through the entire process, making me feel very safe and comfortable. Cassidy was also very patient and helpful. I was a bit nervous as I am not a fan of blood or being even the slightest uncomfortable (I know, don’t ask Ha!). I’ve never been to a piercing business before and visiting from Dallas so I had no idea really where to start. I looked up Couture on Google and I loved the fact that there was tons of positive feedback from the employees and even a tiny bit of professional pushback from a customer who was not so professional themselves. My artist, Shawn was an absolute doll! He made me comfortable from the second I walked into his tidy, very clean and upbeat office. We geeked out about Europe and Cali and all kinds of other random tidbits. He talked me through each step, used his opinion as requested and communicated clearly. I loved his personality and I loved how super professional he was. Plus, my nose piercing is super cute! Run, do not stop, do not pass go - RUN DIRECTLY TO COUTURE. Y’all blessed me today, more than you know. Cheers!

Couture is my go-to place for piercings and today, I was infinitely impressed with my visit. I went in for a rook piercing and was greeted by Cassidy and Dylan. They were so kind to me and I felt so welcome. Cassidy did my piercing and she was so knowledgeable and walked me through everything. Fantastic experience! I got my first Tattoo here October of last year, I had no idea what I was doing but everyone was very kind and helped me figure out how to do what I wanted. Clarence was my artist and he did a beautiful job on my skin, he explained how everything worked and made my first Tattoo experience very positive. Will definitely be coming back to this shop next time Im in Ohio. Fantastic staff, professional and welcoming environment.

I got my nose pierced a few hours ago by Cassidy and it was an amazing and fun experience. She is very professional, sanitary, thorough, comforting, and personable beyond what words in a review can describe. Along with the great experience with the piercer herself, the rest of the staff was very polite and welcoming especially considering I had just walked in without an appointment. If you’re wanting to get a piercing or any other service done I highly recommend going to couture and having Cassidy do your piercings :)

I was in the second day nose piercings were allowed after covid closures and couldn’t be happier! They were so nice and on time, I’m hearing impaired and had no trouble understanding anyone at the front counter or Shawn. He said explained everything and made sure to answer any questions I may have had. I can’t wait to return in the middle of November to change my jewelry!! I’ve since had my piercing check and changed and still a fantastic experience!

I got my conch pierced here by Shawn and OML he is the best I love him so much he’s so nice and he really gave me a good experience, I’m 15 years old and was very scared and nervous about getting it. I was originally going to get an industrial but he explained to me why it wouldn’t fit my ear and I completely understood and I’m glad he told me the reason why, he also showed me in the mirror and pointed it out to. He was talking me through the process of getting the piercing and showed me four different places of where I could get it and I picked it out and boom done! I highly recommend him, the piercing didn’t hurt a lot it felt like a pinch and that’s it and now I want more piercing because of my great experience.

I got my septum pierced and absolutely love it!! Shawn did an amazing job! He kept me comfortable and informed on what he would be doing and checked to make sure I was feeling ok. Awesome job by him and definitely plan on coming back!!

Saw Shawn a little over a month ago to get my lobes pierced. The receptionist was great, very cordial. Wish the shop wasnt cash only, but what can you do? The piercing itself went fine as well, but I left the shop feeling very uncomfortable during my time with Shawn. I could tell almost immediately that he pegged me as trans, as he began using my deadname (the one on my ID) more than any reasonable person would (ex. Hey [blank]! Hows it going [blank]? Here to get a piercing today [blank]? in the span of 2 or 3 seconds, and it continued like this for the rest of the visit). On top of this, I felt belittled and infantilized through the whole process. Im sure he could tell I was anxious, but treating me like a toddler did not help the process. Finally, I received next to no aftercare instructions. He told me to spray my ears with the provided saline once a day after showers and not to touch them, but essentially told me that I could never change my earrings on my own and to come back to him if I wanted different ones. He also said not to mess with Hot Topic or Spencers earrings, which felt a little targeted but I understand that they arent body safe and shouldnt be worn for long periods of time. I find it interesting that he told me to set up another appointment if I ever want them changed: perhaps another cash grab? Granted I havent been to many, but this is the only shop Ive been in that required payment up front, which left me with a bad taste in my mouth. Went to another shop to check out my ears as they had been very swollen and one was bleeding, and lo and behold, the earrings were screwed on too tight. To summarize, in the future, I plan on going to shops that are explicitly queer-friendly as, in my opinion, this one is not.

Oh my gosh! Where do I begin! Best place to get pierced! The staff were beyond nice and caring! Lady at front desk was super helpful Let me know it was okay to be nervous! absolutely sweet as for Shawn wow! Just absolutely amazing! Told me it was okay! was super cool and funny! Highly recommend Shawn! Got me in very quickly too! deserve five stars wish I could give them way more then 5 stars! And Thankyou to the most amazing staff! Shawn literally walked me through the entire Way every step and Really calmed me down! First piercing there and I just love it! He did a practice run and Seriously helped me through! So glad I chose them to get my first ever Nose piercing!!!!

I had an appointment with Clarence, to touch up a tat I had done on my foot (at a previous shop) it needed to have all of the shading re-done I was so nervous that it wasn’t going to look good ..But Clarence did an Amazing Job! and he listened to my every concern and he took such good care to the details that even I missed he made my tat look so cool! I’ve gotten so many great compliments on it and I will tell everyone if you want it to look it’s best pay the money it’s worth every penny going to (Couture) to someone who knows what they are doing the very first time! I went to Couture for my first lobe piercings! Everyone was so nice and friendly. The place is so clean, I barely feel any uncomfortable sensation at all and my piercings are healing very well. Cassidy definitely did a great job, she talked to me through the entire process and I never once felt surprised or uncomfortable. I left tips for Cassidy at the end for sure. The price was also very good for both piercings and earrings. I highly recommend Couture :).

Just got my septum pierced yesterday and I couldnt be happier! The staff was so friendly and sweet. Cassidy was the one who pierced me, and honestly I felt close to no pain. Even now it only feels a bit uncomfortable when I flip it up or move it, but thats literally it. She was awesome! I cannot wait to get more piercings here. :)

I just got my lip pierced with dolphin bites by Shawn. The whole shop is super clean and well kept. The attention to detail from Shawn was TOP. NOTCH. He spent at least 10-15 mins just making sure they were exactly where I wanted them.This was also my first piercing and Shawn walked me through every step with extreme detail. I will be coming back here for all of my piercing needs and highly recommended them to anyone looking.

Cassidy was SO amazing! I felt right at home when I walked into the shop and she helped me pick out my new jewelry and the perfect place for a new piece! Easily the best piercing experience I’ve had! Kris is such a talented artist and I don’t plan on going anywhere else for any future piercings I’ll have done. I came in with a friend who had an appointment and was able to get right in. I didn’t know what piercing I wanted and Kris helped me find one that fit my ear and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. He was really good about walking me through the piercing process, letting me know what he was doing every step of the way, and being mindful of my allergies in the process. Kris made my experience an amazing one; the environment was so upbeat and happy, the process was EXTREMELY sterile, and the shop just had a really good vibe. I highly recommend coming here for any body art you may want.

STAY AWAY FROM HERE. This place had renown for being a good tattoo shop...but I think things have changed for the worse.My Fiancee and I had scheduled an appointment, for one tattoo each, over a month in advance. We had emailed the shop a reference photo that was to be a reference for what we wanted. We also put down a deposit when we agreed upon a date for the tattoos to be done. We were set up with Curt who we thought to be a good artist.We never got an email back from the shop or any communication from our artist after they accepted our deposit. The day of the appointment we were 10 minutes late because the ATM at the bank we stopped at for cash was down. We notified the shop and they said it shouldnt be a problem. We got there at 12:10 for our noon appointment and the receptionist was real nice about it. We signed the consent forms and were shown the art that was prepared for us.It was a blatant copy of the reference photo we sent in...which is not what we wanted or were expecting. The details of the agreement said we get two redraws from the artist. Had they contacted us ahead of time, we couldve made it right for both parties...so we asked for a few alterations to make the tattoos closer to what we wanted.Curt never met with us, introduced himself, nor talked to us about the tattoos. He had the receptionist be his liason...who again, was real polite. But we asked for a second alteration to the tattoos seeing as the artist still wasnt getting the right idea down. We waited for over an hour in the building...and then the receptionist came back asking if we could reschedule. We were taken aback but tried to be cooperative. We rescheduled, but later found out we could not make that date due to work scheduling conflicts. Its difficult these days to find time off of work on such short notice.So maybe we should have seen a lot of the red flags. But nothing felt right about this whole event and left us feeling like unwanted customers; whereas the shop probably just wanted to make a quick buck off of us.We asked for our deposit back since the shop never held up their end of the deal. But we were told we were an hour late and that we took up too much time asking for redraws and thats why we needed to be rescheduled.Funny how that works. Thanks for taking our money and leaving us with nothing to show for it. Maybe work on your customer service skills and communication please.

Shawn the piercing-artist is a joke.I’d give 0 stars if I could.I walked in and asked the lady upfront for a lip piercing and she was super nice and helpful, after I paid for it, she told me that I had to wait for a tattoo artist to bring my piercing out, which was fine, they took my money first and had me wait for 20 minutes.Finally, he asked me if I wanted him to put it in and I said “No, that’s fine I’ll do it myself”. Thinking that the tattoo artist will know what kind of piercing I needed. he comes out with two piercings, one bigger and one smaller, looked at my lip and gave me a choice between the two. I said “OK, that’s fine I’ll pick this one” assuming that they would both fit because the artist brought them out after looking at my lip extensively.Before I left he made sure to tell me that if I have any problems or issues to come back and see him, so I did as the piercing was far too big. As soon as I walked in he was very unprofessional and confrontational in front of all the customers and employees. He said “Well, I told you you should’ve had me put it in. And if I would’ve put it in and if it wasn’t right size I would give you a new one”I said “OK but since I put it in and it’s not the right size even though you told me that it might be, you’re gonna charge me for a second one?” He said “Yes, I gave you a choice”In conclusion, the problem is not with the cost of the piercings, but the way in which this employee conducted himself in such an unprofessional and confrontational manner.

So, I was referred to this place by a friend and was told they do great work, and would take care of me. After leaving, and I am fully aware it is my fault, because I am new to tattoos, so ignorance is admitted... and the desire to get it done quickly comes into play as well. I will say after speaking to several other artists/shops, I definitely feel they took care of me. In my opinion, they seen me and my son, and saw dollar signs and took advantage of us. Not to say the tattoos arent phenomenal, or that I am upset with the result, because the artist did a great job. I am upset because it was under 15 minutes for the both of us combined and we were charged 400.00 for some very simple tattoos, we will NOT be back to this location. I just hope maybe the owner wasnt in, and this was the employees taking advantage of someone, because if this is the business practice of the owner, that is just sad.Re: to the owner, youre right, i said they were phenomenal, because I think the artist did a great job. However, seeing as how your shop charges by the hour we should have been charged no more than the shop minimum. As far as aftercare goes, what is that? To tell someone to use lotion and antibacterial soap, I think common sense kinda takes care of that seeing as it an open wound... just admit that you seen dollar signs because we are inexperienced to the tattoo world, its okay... you took advantage of someone (more likely than not, alot of someones) it wont happen again to me, and I will advocate against anyone using your shop. I will let them know the horrible business practices that are in place, and as a small business owner myself will tell everyone I see not to utilize your shop.

I decided to get brave today and get my nose done, I didnt know where I should have gone so I got on Google and asked what was cheapest and closest to me, this is where II chose Couture Tattoo and body piercing. When I walked in I was very pleased with the cleanliness of the building, walk-ins are welcome, friendly smiling faces. The young man that pierced my nose did a fantastic job quick and I didnt even feel any pain at all, I couldnt believe it. Some pressure but really no pain I was surprised. So lets give a great big ole shout out to his name was,Sean (the guy that does the piercing only)Thank You so much for doing such a fantastic job, I was scared but you made it just like a breeze. Thanks again 😊👍

I got both of my nipples pierced this past weekend and they were by far the cleanest, most professional people I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. The price is definitely worth their skill and the piece of mind knowing the needles and jewelry they use are completely sterile (they also used internally threaded jewelry!). I’ll definitely be returning💕

Shawn pierced my nostril and the entire process was flawless and amazing! He was extremely professional and upbeat and explained the entire process. I was a little nervous about this and especially with Covid not allowing others to be with you, he made the entire experience great! The facility was very clean as well. While the price points are not my favorite thing about this shop, I have to admit I have returned and paid them knowing I will be leaving with proud new additions to my collection of tattoos.The staff, in my experiences, have been welcoming and eager to help. I have never had a phone call un answered, and felt the entire process had very open communication, which made it really easy for the client and the artist to meet each other’s needs.Rich gave me my latest tattoos, and is definitely a man experienced in his craft. He was quick to help me put life to my design and I am really happy with the results.My ink from this shop has healed and aged (albeit shortly) extremely gracefully, and the aftercare information provided was A+, including the very natural and lovely smelling healing salve “Griffin Salve”

Went in for a walk in to get a small palm tattoo… the receptionist was rude and nasty. Once I showed what I wanted, the artist proceeded to tell me the tattoo “wouldn’t last”… (I have tattoos all over my hands, I’m well aware)… he also proceeded to tell me “it would hurt”… lol ok??? He then refused to do the tattoo, because he “doesn’t like” palm tattoos. Thankfully I have an appointment with an artist from Couture AT ANOTHER SHOP at the end of the week, I’ll ask him to do the palm tattoo in addition to the appointment I have. I’ve heard great things about him… I’m hoping for a pleasant experience. This shop however? I will never return to.

Everyone there went above and beyond. We took our 5 year old daughter in to get her ears pierced. Sean made her love the whole experience. He made her feel right at home. My wife got a tattoo that same day and my daughter getting bored. Scott let her draw on his I pad. Clarence did our tattoos and we were blown away. They did way more than what was expected of them. I dont usually leave reviews but these guys are awesome. Extremely friendly, talented, and down to earth people. And the tattoos were great!

I recently went here to get my nose pierced! Cassidy was my piercer and was incredibly professional and clean. Its been about three weeks since I got it done and so far it has been the easiest piercing to heal that I’ve ever had. Will be going here again for any future piercings, I highly recommend Cassidy!

I went to get my tounge pierced the other day and I knew ab being tounge tied but hoped I wasn’t Shawn came out and looked at it and explained I was (dang it lol) but he was so sweet ab it and explained why I wasn’t able to do it and showed me even tho I can’t do my tounge imDefinitely going back for my ears and nose! My friend got his eyebrow pierced by Shawn to and he’s always so so nice and explains everything so good and makes u feelComfy !! Love him!

Couture is my top place for piercings in Stark. Kris is for sure one of the best piercers around. I’m seeing people complain about prices for piercings but I think it’s a pretty fair price for the quality of jewelry they use. Not to mention Kris is always super helpful and nice. His apprentice Cassidy is also amazing and does some great piercings.

Always get my tattoos at Couture and cant see myself going anywhere else. Always professional and friendly service. Reasonable tattoo prices for the artistry you get. I recently got a black and grey owl by Mark and he did an awesome job! I absolutely love it! Thanks again Mark! 👍😊

I came in about three weeks ago to get my nose pierced. everything was good but it looked a little infected even though i used the solution they gave me. today i was cleaning the inside of it and the whole entire piercing came out through the inside of my nose. i called multiple other piercing artists and told they the gage of the piercing and what happened and they said that they haven’t pierced with a gage that small in 10 years. im a minor and my parents aren’t willing to bring me to the studio today to get new jewelry in it. now it is going to close up and i wasted practically $80. very unhappy about my experience.

I’ve came in more than once to get tattooed by Curtis… hands down the best artist I’ve ever experienced! He’s super informative and makes you feel comfortable the whole time! 10/10 will be going back. Ride on! 💪🏼

Got my first tattoo here at Couture yesterday. The entire experience was really fun. The whole staff was fun and friendly, and best of all, very good at what they do. Ill definitely be back for more soon. Chadd just found himself a regular customer

Aaron did a wonderful job with his artistic skills on my previous tattoo. I highly recommend him if your looking for realism tattoos.Hoping he will do new tattoo soon. Waiting a few weeks for him to respond.

Ive been here a few times, Shawn is the absolute sweetest dude he made me feel so safe and comfortable while I was getting my septum done the other day and the rest of the staff is also incredibly nice! I wouldnt rather go anywhere else for my body mods.

Kris is absolutely the best piercer i’ve met. So professional and clean, but also is fun and easy to talk to. He made the whole process stress free and his apprentice and intern were great as well. He made sure to say everything that he was doing and explained why he was doing it so that they could learn and so that you can also know whats going on. Kris, the piercer, is the absolute best around! He takes his time to conversate and make you feel at home and comfortable. Second time getting my nose pierced but my 10th piercing in general, and I would never go to another piercer. He makes you feel like he’s you’re friend, not just your piercer. His sense of humor and compassion are just a plus on top of the great service. He knows what he is doing! His prices are very reasonable considering his knowledge and the amazing work he does. I’ll never go anywhere else!

Cassidy did my navel piercing a couple weeks ago and it’s one of the best piercings i’ve ever gotten! she was very professional and lovely to talk to and on top of that the piercing is incredibly centered and straight and very clean.

I called about a walk in daith piercing during the week about 1:30pm. They got me right in and were super kind and serious about inforcing the Covid guide lines to make sure every one is safe, which is awesome!!! Cassidy was my piercer and I’ve got to say......she’s the best I’ve ever had!!! I have my industrial and conch as far as ear piercings go, and she made me feel super comfortable and not nervous at all. The piercing itself was a breeze and she made it quick and as painless as possible! I was extremely nervous to get my nose piercing done. Shawn walked me through everything and made me feel super comfortable. Gave me plenty of options, and it didnt even hurt! I will be going back.

I just got a helix a few months ago and an industrial and rook yesterday. Kris was so funny and professional! Also I was concerned about my industrial this morning because .. well I’m not a piercer. I messaged him and he messaged me back right away and put my worries at ease. My piercings look great and if you’re looking for a piercing.. Kris is who you go to !

This company has very poor communication, lacks interest in customers, and is not reliable from my experience. I waited 2 months before being notified via Facebook that they had to cancel 2 days before. I understand life happens, but good customer service would be to call the customer, be apologetic and trying to work something out to make it better for the customer. None of those things were done. Also just the overall interest in doing my tattoo from the owner lacked the entire process. Not surprised he didn’t end up doing it.

Over charged for a tattoo that wasn’t what I wanted was not allowed to sit in a position to see the work being done on my hand was forced to lay down. And at the end the tattoo I wanted was not the one I received Kurt couldn’t even draw a circle. There are multiple pearls around my tattoo that went from circle to egg shaped and he even missed one and I had to go back after leaving. Told a price per hour and was told it would take 3 hours and only took 2 and didn’t get any money back. I felt as the tattoo was rushed because they were talking about ordering lunch. DONT GO HERE. And no the fact I had to lay down for a hand tattoo makes no sense when I asked to sit up ? Was this because of insecurities of the artist or for my comfort when my comfort was addressed. While there are plenty of pictures of other people and there inclined seats behind them in your posted photos? It’s all ok wasted 475$. Being charged 50$ for your 5 minutes of a consultation and then charged 425$ for the work your artist preformed.

The work turned out great. I give the communication skills and attitudes a 2/3. I personally wouldn’t go here if I was having a bad day. They were kinda rude, didn’t conversate with me, and overall seemed like they didn’t want to do my tattoo. I really wish they were nicer because their work is beautiful.

I got my septum pierced by Cassidy last Saturday. She was absolutely awesome in talking through it and making sure I wasn’t in too much pain. Everyone was very nice and I would definitely come back

I was in town from Montana for my birthday and my bestie and I wanted matching finger tattoos. After being told by 2 shops that they didnt do finger tattoos, fate led us to Couture. We found an amazingly helpful and friendly staff who were happy to do the tattoos we wanted, explained the downfalls of what we were asking for and offered free touch up if needed due to the known issues with finger tattoos. We were very happy with the whole experience, start to finish and, as an added bonus that we didnt know about until we got there, they were doing a buy one, get one half off deal! Happy birthday to me!

Got a tattoo from Scott Guappone today! It is absolutely stunning. Beautiful likework and shading. 10/10 recommend seeing Scott for your next tattoo. The customer service is great and they are taking safety during this hard time very seriously. I couldn’t have had a better experience.

Contacted shop at 4:10 pm to see if they had time for a walk-in AFTER seeing a Facebook post that one of their artists had availability all day. They responded asking what I was looking for and I sent back a couple of ideas. It is now after 5:10 and I have been waiting for an hour in their parking lot with no contact from them. Very unprofessional! If you didnt have time, just say so!! A quick response would have sufficed. It takes a minute to respond back to a customer. Couture was recommended to me by a friend and I am very disappointed.

I have been pierced and tattooed at Couture. Each and every time I visit the shop I get what I want at fair prices. They have good quality jewelry and dont try to charge a ridiculous amount. Rich recently tattooed me. I was a terrible canvas but he was very patient with me and my tattoos are gorgeous. It is a little hard to get their attention when you first walk in but I think they get sick of people coming in who have no real intention of getting a tattoo or piercing.

Cassidy is my absolute FAVORITE piercer!! She is always willing to help me branch out and to determine what piercings would be best in my ear along with the jewelry to compliment it. A one of a kind experience you wouldn’t find anywhere else!!!

Bryon did an amazing job on my cover up tattoo! You can’t even see what was once there! Also he quickly sketched out the tattoo right on me and got to work. I was scared because I only have one tattoo from when i was in a black out (the tattoo that got covered up) but he was very fast and gentile it barely hurt! So happy with my cover up!

Kris is so amazing and truly makes you feel like royalty. He’s quick and spot on. And here’s the kicker he fixed my daith jewelry position even though I was just having my nose done. He looked out for me. I cannot say enough about this guy and this place. Thanks again Couture!!!!

Only because I have to put a star but a friend of mine and myself went to get a piercing today for the bring a friend $20 each deal plus price of jewelry mind you the post said the piercer was there till 7pm we got there at 6:20pm and they said the piercer had left (but was still in the shop) then we went to parking lot to look for other places to go to and out comes Shawn or Sean however he spells it which is their piercer whom “left” as they stated when we walked in to get a piercing!!! Terrible customer service you would think they would want the business!! Also I watched them flip their sign from open to close at 6:45pm when they close at 7pm then they refused to answer their phone!! Oh and I also watched him roll a joint before taking off!!7-28-2019

Went in for piercings everything was fine tilI started having REALLY bad pain. Expressed concern even went in to have them looked at was told they were “fine”. Next day woke up to the balls of my piercings under my skin! I’m extreme pain. Tried to call to have a jewelry change and no one answered. Ended up going to a different shop to have them fix it. Take what you want from that but I’m very disappointed even the shop I went to to have my jewelry changed was shocked. Idk maybe it was just a fluke one time thing but I won’t be going back.

I got my tragus, helix and industrial bar done here. I got my tragus and helix done there in 2016 by Kris and got my industrial earlier this week by Cassidy. Both of them were really great and helpful. And the woman who was working the reception was incredibly sweet too. Also, bring cash with you as it is cash only. They do have an ATM inside but it has a $2.50 fee.

My bf and I got our septum pierced, the guy the pierced us was very nice, made sure we were good the whole time. Did the piercing quick and pain free, is healing nicely.

I stopped in yesterday to get my nose pierced. The staff were all friendly from the moment I walked in. Sean did the piercing. He walked me through each step. Told me exactly what he would do and when he would do it. Couldnt have asked for a better experience.

Not only did they respond to my Facebook inquiry but they got me in the next day!!!! Shawn was beyond great. Super nice, gentle and walked me through the whole process. Will definitely be going back.

Super over priced... And wasnt that good of a job. Wasnt pleased. They bad talk every other tattoo shop and tattoo artist in the area. Will not be returning. If you think 120 dollars for a 2 word tattoo is a fair price or over 100 dollars for a nose piercing is fair. Then be my guest.

Great artists but having to wait months to get an hour worth of touch up on a thousand dollars of tattoos and being dismissed by staff will make me spend my next $3k somewhere else.

My wife came in for a cover up. Looking at the new tattoo you cant tell there was something else there. They did a great job and was a fairly reasonable price. Also they say they do lifetime touch ups. I Dont know how that works but will have to look into that.

Just went in for piercings, was pricey but worth it. Nipples piercings could be very uncomfortable but Chris was amazing at making me feel relaxed. I was so nervous as this was my first piercing and I would return in a heartbeat

Called in to get a idea of a place to get work done and was told they were taking walk ins all day. So I decided to drive up there and was told there no longer taking walk-ins 10 mins later not professional telling me I could comeback all day the next day....prob not gonna waste my time again.
