This is the best tattoo shop I’ve ever had to pleasure of going to! Alex (the owner) is the most amazing and kindest person I’ve ever met! He’s been my tattoo artist for the past two years and has always been so patient and understanding! He’s so gentle and everyone in the shop is so welcoming and kind. You can tell all the artists there do it for the art and not the money. You won’t be rushed or judged here! They take their time and make sure you are comfortable every step of the way. Miller, Arielle, Alex, Zoe, Katelin, and Derek all have such amazing and different styles of work that there’s a tattoo for everyone! Everyone in the shop is respectful which is hard to find sometimes! I can’t say enough amazing things about this shop, the artists, and the owner. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

I went yesterday for the friday the 13th flash event, and received my first tattoo! everyone on the staff was super kind and Id like to give a special shoutout to the artist who did my tattoo, Sydney. the lines are so crisp and I could not be happier! definitely will look into booking with her in the future.

8/23/24 - Got referred here for being one of the top tier parlors in Michigan. They make it comfortable for newbies & regulars alike. They use modern tech & ink that last longer and with fewer allergies. Experience differs per person; pain tolerance and physiological effects change with the location of the tattoo.Biologically, it will be more sensitive on the front of the forearm, inner joints, fingers & toes, than other areas of the skin.Feel free to ask the staff of their opinions for size, placement, alterations & more. But the final decision is yours, and yours alone - expect this to be permanent.Katelin here has 3+ years experience & countless more in artwork alone, but is booked out for a week, sometimes two!The interior is impressively clean and organized, if you dont mind all the rubber ducks, lol. I can not appraise their ear peircing or tattoo cover, adjustment, or removal services... yet.Cost is about $150 per hour, adjustable and workable per artist. Feel free to shave the area you want inked, and make sure you wear deodorant! The whole experience was definitely unique, and I look forward to my next appointment!

Felt like home, I love everything about this place… good vibe, good and friendly staff, perfect ambiance … felt very comfortable.. Derek is a perfectionist, he has got some serious skills…. got some small tattoos today and I’m glad I chose this place…. More to come… cheers to Inkheart

Kaylee took both my friend and I as walk-ins and did nothing short of incredible work. She was fast, detailed, and made sure that we were overall satisfied with her design and stencils before coming anywhere near us with needles. The environment of this shop was incredible and I highly recommend.

Today was my 3rd time at Inkheart and my 3rd and 4th tattoos by their artist Kaylee. Once again, she absolutely KILLED it. I think I found my permanent tattoo artist here. She is so sweet and welcoming, and her skill is unmatched. I will definitely be back soon to get tattooed by her again.

Ink heart is a newer shop and it’s incredible. I got this Totoro flash from Katelin across two sessions (photo is 5 weeks after first session, 5 days after second session). She does incredible anime tattoos. If you’re into anime or similar, check out Katelin’s work.I love the atmosphere at Inkheart too. Unlike other parlors I’ve been to, the work spaces are wide open, and I wasn’t sure how I would like that. But I love it. Katelin’s station is right across Alex’s (owner) and he’s really kind and funny. Derek, Zoey, and Aerielle are all really awesome and sweet too. I’ve never been tattooed in such a supportive and communal atmosphere before (I have 7 tattoos, so I’ve been a few places). Bonus: I get to see the other artists’ work here too while I’m being tattooed and they’re all incredible - at least the ones I mentioned because theyre the ones I saw.If you’re in the area, check out Inkheart. Alex is an amazingly talented artist who runs a very organized and detailed oriented shop. More importantly, he is a true processional. Alex was kind, patient and he worked diligently with my wife and daughter in creating tattoos that were both meaningful and complimentary to their needs. I just had a tattoo done by Erin today. She is awesome and very patient. I wanted my design tweaked a little and she did what I wanted with a smile on her face. We were so happy with her work that my husband scheduled a tattoo session with her this week.The staff were all very friendly. They all made us feel at home and very comfortable.Will definitely recommend this tattoo parlor to anyone looking for some ink art.

As far as Tattoo Parlors go this one cleanest and the staff is very friendly .Erin was my artist, she is so very talented and I didnt feel a thing! I had given her a brief summary of what I was looking for and she turned it into a true masterpiece! I would most definitely recommend her and this place, because everyone was very friendly! The name inkheart is well suited bcuz they do put their hearts into their work!

Alex is a spectacular artist and does the best work in Michigan. He always takes great care of his clients and has a very incredible shop and atmosphere there. The front desk person was amazing and friendly.

I’ve had prior tattoos from the Owner Alex, he does a wonderful job and it’s amazing to now see him in his very own shop! My sister and I stopped in for spur of the moment tattoos. This was my first tattoo and I was a little nervous. Katelin did matching tattoos for me and my daughter. She took her time to explain everything and made sure everything was perfect before she started. She did a great job and love the way the tattoos came out. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. I will definitely come back to get my next one.

This was my first visit to Inkheart, and I will definitely be back. From the moment I walked in, everyone was very nice. The shop is very clean and nicely decorated. Kaitlin did my tattoo, and I couldnt be happier. The owner was there as well and was very personable. Dont think twice about going here. You wont be disappointed.

Fantastic. These artists are highly skilled and very friendly. Katelin and Derek both tattooed me and I couldn’t be happier with the final results. From reworking a few old tattoos to helping me create a new one, they handled themselves like professionals while maintaining a friendly atmosphere. From the booking process to the tattoo itself, I cannot express how happy I am. Derek is an incredible artist and the whole shop was welcoming and friendly. I had a six hour session with Derek and not only was he such an amazing artist, the whole staff made it a pleasure to get tattooed. Even during the stencil itself, you could tell he would not tattoo it until he was truly satisfied with placement and size. He was very patient and even fun to watch and converse with. This is definitely one of the best tattoo shops I’ve been to and it was refreshing to see such a humble but great artist. Already looking forward to a second tattoo from him

The shop is always clean and comfortable. Alex (the owner) is a great guy and an absolutely killer artist. I like keeping my tattoos simple, black and white and I leave happy every time. To all my young ladies out there, Alex takes the comfort of his clients very seriously, as a woman in her 20s I feel completely comfortable with Alex every time. His work is outstanding, getting tattoos with Alex is always a fun experience, booking is easy, and I always leave feeling confident.

I have been going to get tattoos from Katelin and I absolutely love her. She is very fun to talk with and she always is so sweet! I will always recommend her because she is amazing and very professional. Alex is great too!!!! I havent gotten a tattoo from him but he is always very nice. :)

My family and I decided last minute to get matching tattoos and luckily Alex had time today to fit us in. We had the most amazing experience with him! So kind, funny, and just overall wonderful. He even gave our younger cousin a matching “tattoo” with marker and she was so happy!

The sweetest staff ever! My friend and I came out from Cleveland , Ohio, which was well worth it. They gave us free shirts for our drive out and trust in their apprentice Kaylee, who is absolutely wonderful. Well definitely make the 3 1/2 hour drive sometime in the future to get more work done. Katelin is my tattoo artist, she’s done acouple for me already, She is absolutely the best and friendliest soul. Everyone there is very welcoming. All the artists there do different work so I definitely would in interested in other artists there in the future like Alex and Aerielle for some awesome color work.
