I got my first tattoo from Annie she was absolutely amazing and took her time to make sure I was comfortable! Then I got my third piercing done by Ash she made sure I was comfortable also! They were absolutely so so sweet to me and their work was amazing. Definitely coming back here for more!!!

I get tattooed by Dakota on a regular basis and have for years. I’ve never had any issue with scheduling with her. Is she booked up sometimes for weeks at a time yes, so I wait my turn and book out accordingly that’s how booking an appointment in any industry is. Is it worth waiting for? Yes, she will ensure you are comfortable and well taken care of as well as being one of the funniest artist I’ve ever been tattooed by. Anyone who says otherwise can kick rocks and get served! Thanks Dakota for being a real one, keep it up.

I got another lobe piercing on a whim, and Im sooo happy. Ashlee was fantastic. Asked me questions to make sure she understood exactly what I wanted, explained everything she was doing before hand and as she did it, made sure I was comfortable every step. And she was just so fun! Id totally recommend her!

My husband got his ear lobes pierced here by Ashlee. She was incredibly informative and friendly. She made him feel at ease. The place overall was very clean as well. Will definitely see Ashlee for future piercings!

Ive had 9 tattoos done by Dustin. His work is flawless and he has such great talent. He just nails it every time and puts a lot of great detail into his work. The shop is very clean and everyone is so friendly. If youre looking for a top notch tattoo, I highly recommend seeing Dustin at Tuff Luck. He is very professional and will make you feel at ease!

Very unsatisfied!!! My friend and I wanted 2 small, very simple tattoos. We were charged $60 each, and within days, that tattoo was gone. I told Annie that I couldnt even feel her touching my finger.... so now, after 2 months sending her pictures of what it looked like, we go back and Lil Miss Annie wants $40 more to touch up a tattoo that I never received and $20 more from my friend...making her tattoo now $80 bucks and mine $100. Received a tattoo from Josh “Astro” Astorian and it was the worst experience of my life. He was very unsanitary and talked about his heroin use throughout the entire tattoo. Guy is a thief, drug addict, pos. I would not recommend my cat to get a tattoo by this guy.

Been trying to get tatted by Dakoda for 4 or 5 months now. She throws every excuse in the book as to why she cannot, then that same day she will post a get up she did for one of her friends. Even then she will post and complain about her having time on her hands due to reschedule!!!?! I guess if you dont know her like that she dont want you as a client! Needless to say I will be on the search for a new artist.

Literally the BEST interaction I’ve ever had at a shop!! Ashley did a piercing for me, she walked me though everything. I’ve had several piercings and tattoos done by other shops and I will most definitely be coming back the Ashely!!!!!She is so kind and welcoming! Very clean and very personable!

The Artists are trully artists. Dave did my 2nd tat ever. Its the most visible so far and will be getting the other started soon. Make an appointment and have $20 cash deposit to hold your set appointment. Tuesday-Saturday noon till 8pm have a design in mind or a pic on your phone to text to the artist. Now, DO NOT GO IN AND SAY I WANT THIS BUT IM ONLY SPENDING THIS! That is the fastest way to get denied. Seriously good ink is not cheap and its by the hour. You can do more than 1 sitting.Dont over think it, be original, not cliche typical tramp stamp or frat boy arm band. Really its 2019 have a serious design in mind. Its going to be permanent and you dont want to be 75yo and have a butterfly tramp stamp that looks like it hit the car grill, or an old dude with saggy biceps and an arm band tat that looks like your last EKG heart rhythm.

I got a conch piercing, done by Ashley. She was so kind and explained everything she was doing step by step. I highly recommend her and will be going back to her when I decide to get another piercing.

I went in with my two friends and we were treated so well! The place was very clean and followed Covid guidelines. My artist was Molly. She was very sweet and helped me through the entire process. Her service from start to finish was top notch. I would definitely recommend this shop whether its your first tattoo or your hundredth. For sure the best tattoo shop in all of Southern Illinois.

Ive been to Tuff Luck for a piercing twice, now. Each time Ive been in, the staff has been incredibly friendly and helpful! Ashlee (who does the piercings) is wonderful! The environment is also clean and welcoming. I will continue to go to Tuff Luck for all of my future piercings and tattoos (if I ever decide to get one).

Ive gotten 3 tattoos from there all from my #1 tattoo gal pal Dakota Dodds, she is freaking awesome, very professional. Shes very nice & cares about the comfort of her costumers & always does her absolute best to make sure her costumers leave happy and satisfied. I absolutely would recommend Dakota for your tattoo needs. I will actually be going back tomorrow for 2 more tattoos plus shes also doing one on my husband tomorrow as well. So she comes highly recommended. 😎

Ashlee pierced both of my daiths and my experience couldnt of been better! She was very thorough with how I should care for my piercings and was very nice. I definitely recommend this place if you want a reasonably priced and quality piercing.

Ashley did my Daith piercing and she did a wonderful job. She explained what she was doing every step of the way and was very very clean. I was amazed at the price and will definitely get any future piercings there.

I got a nipple peircings and at tattoo at two different appointments. Molly did my tattoo, she worked with me to make sure I was comfortable. It healed up greatly. The piercer was highly professional and made sure to sanitize everything as much as she could. Those are also healing great. I look forward to getting more art from them.

I went there for a daith piercing and was very nervous because I read that it was a painful procedure. Ashley made me feel very at ease. She explained everything that she was going to do before she did it step by step. Surprisingly, it didnt really hurt. I would say it was more of a strong discomfort. Ashley also gave me written after care instructions as well as going over the after care with me verbally. It was a very clean and sterile environment. I would highly recommend Ashley for any piercings that you might be getting. Shes the best!

I was impressed with Tuff Luck. This place is extremely clean and the artists are very nice and professional. Chris was the one who took care of me; I came in to get my nipples pierced and had never had any kind of piercings or anything done before. He was very good about letting me know exactly what I needed to do to take care of the piercings and also let me know that if I had any questions or concerns about it that I could call him for help. If you want a piercing but dont know of anywhere good, go to Chris and hell take good care of you. Id give Tuff Luck 5/5.

I was at Tuff Luck for a few years before the pandemic started and I had a great experience there. I made my way back today for Ashley to do a private session with me to change my daith and then a couple other earrings. She also pierced my ear. She was so gentle and I enjoyed catching up with her. I’m grateful that she was willing to mask up and keep my husband and I safe. I’m looking forward to working with Dakota on tattoos privately until we are sure Covid won’t hurt us. Happy to be back and gratef to people that understand that Covid isn’t quite over for us high risk individuals quite yet.

This was my first time getting a navel piercing and at first I was really nervous and had a lot of questions, but Ashlee was able to answer all my questions and explain everything! When it came to the actual piercing it was quick and completely painless. Would recommend this place :)

This was my first time having a piercing done, Ashlee was very good and did an excellent job at doing 4 piercings on my ears (2 on each side). I would definitely recommend piercings at this place.

I got my tragus pierced tonight. Ashley was great. She was quick and explained every thing that was going to happen and told me what she was doing throughout the process. Very clean and friendly environment. I will be going back for my next piercings.

Daniel is the absolute Best there is! He done both of my tattoos. This last was a cover up! He new what I was trying to say when we spoke about options.I am so very happy with what he worked up out of his “artistic” mind! Thank you for being so open minded and thinking “out of the box” !!!

Tuff Luck is great for tattoos and piercings. I love going there for piercings, their piercer is super clean, quick, and efficient. He knows how to make a nervous person feel better about getting the piercing. My boyfriend has gotten tattoos from here and he loves his tattoo artist, and so do I. My main concern was cleanliness, but like the piercer, the artists are just as clean and efficient. The are super nice and want you to leave with what you want.

Tuff Luck is very clean and Professional. I felt at ease. This was my second piercing by far the most professional. From what to expect to how to maintain it. Down to if you have any questions stop in or give us a call. My nose has a beautiful red stone and I couldnt be happier. Great people. Will be going back.

I got a nose piercing here and the girl who did it didn’t put the clip on my nose like you are supposed to and pierced my nose 3 times before it fully went in, she made the hole so big that my piercing fell out multiple times everyday and got extremely infected 2 different times, the second time was so bad that I had to go to the hospital and have them treat it because I had a huge chunk of skin hanging off of it NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE FOR PIERCINGS!!!

The piercer and all of the artists are very welcoming. Its sanitary and safe. I recommend this shop any time someone asks where to go.
