I have been tattooed by a few different artists at Bonedale Tattoo; Conor, Lyn, Brett, and Christian. THEY ARE ALL AMAZING!!! I have gotten multiple from each human. It’s a cool little studio in Carbondale & makes you feel very welcome. They always have great vibey music on, they offer breaks if you’re in need, & water if you’re thirsty. They are a small business who does incredible works of art! They all have a very different style yet mesh together perfectly. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Brett sets the bar so high you won’t want to get tattooed anywhere else. He’s a genuine talent and brings an integrity to his life and work that speaks for itself. I loved the experience of working with him as much as I love my tattoos!

There’s something about Bonedale Tattoo that makes you feel like family when you are there. Brett has been my primary tattoo artist for a couple years now and I’ve also had work done from Conor, both are incredibly talented, kind, patient, extremely professional and just really wonderful humans. I trust Brett wholeheartedly with both the design and the tattoo work and love his style and natural welcoming vibe. His fine lines and intricate detail are what have me hooked. Absolutely have loved every experience Ive had at Bonedale. All the staff are courteous, communicative and willing to work with you. Last minute cancellations are practically unheard of on the artists side (the only cancellation Ive ever experienced was my artist feeling unwell - and re scheduled immediately to a later date). Bonedale works intimately with the client to find the best time always and will be upfront with you if a project is not something theyre willing/able to do! If youre looking for some sweet ink seriously check them out. Cannot recommend enough. Ive had several small works done and have been a client for a few years now working on a larger piece with Brett. Bonedale fosters one of the most welcoming, queer safe and rad environments to get tattooed in. Between the art, the conversations, music and artists at the shop, really couldnt have enjoyed my time there more.

Love this shop! Brett had done 3 of my tattoos and he does excellent work! I havnt been tattooed by the other artists but I’ve seen their work. Shop is always clean and comfortable! 10/10 would recommend

Can’t say I would go to any other tattoo shop. These are the most rad and talented humans I know in the tattoo business. 11/13 tattoos have been done @ bonedale. All of them have amazing work ethic and real talent for designing and customizing each tattoo. They are easy to talk to and super supportive through the tattoo process. Definitely recommend to anyone and everyone wanting work done!!!

We came to Carbondale Colorado to visit family, and decided to get matching tattoos. We booked our appointment at Bonedale Tattoo. Brett was so welcoming, accommodating, highly professional, and extremely talented. He customized each piece to work well with other tattoos that 3 of us had and he did 1st tattoos on 2 of the other family members. I couldnt have imagined a better person to do this for us! He made everyone extremely comfortable, and we are all beyond in love with the results. We also met Conor at the shop, and look forward to visit again to have some work done by him as well. We went to Colorado to visit 2 family members, but that number has doubled since meeting Brett & Conor.

Brett did an incredible job as usual! Takes his time but works fast, always makes it look way better than I could have expected.

I have gotten a few tattoos from Brett and I must say, amazing. Hardly scabbed and hardly hurt. Nice fine lines and beautifully intricate.The environment is very welcoming and they pride themselves on being a family friendly establishment, I had my 4 month old with me at the time.Everyone who works there is very nice and does amazing work, definitely my go to spot for tattoos in the RFV

If you’re wondering where to get the best tattoos in the roaring fork valley, bonedale is the spot. incredibly high quality work, reasonable prices, clean environment, and upbeat artists who are passionate about their work. i’ve been getting tattoos from here for a while and do not see myself getting tattoos from any other shop.

I’ve had multiple tattoos done here by Lyn and had great experiences each time. The studio is clean, laid back attitude and vibe wise but serious and professional business and most of all art wise. Such a great studio in a small town owned by great people.

For some time I wanted to get an ambigram tattoo in memory of my late husband, Shaw Lewis. Bretts skilled hand, natural artistry, and professionalism made the inking a pleasant and beautiful experience. He worked with me to get the coloring, size, and image just right. Only shop I’ve got more that one tattoo at. Great artist, great vibe, I mean seriously you walk through a hobbit hole! After my first visit, it’s now become 4.... in the last year. I’ve even brought family out from the Midwest just to get in this studio.

Its terrible. I walked un ugly & now Im hot from all the dope tattoos I have. I have like 100 girlfriends, now. Plus, all the artists are like wicked cool and are stupid friendly and dumby funny. Its literally the best place to get stabbed. I LhOaVtEe it.

Bad communication waited for an answer on a tattoo for 2 weeks. after being told theyd contact me in the next day or 2, just again to be told my scheduled appointment is being moved cause someone else is tattooing instead. 👍
