Electric Tattoo Parlor and Tattoo Removal

I’ve gotten two tattoos here in the span of…2 or 3 months? I’m a returning customer of Phil’s and have just now recently (as of yesterday) worked with Teddi. Every artist in the shop makes you feel so welcome, are incredibly friendly. It’s also really enjoyable having the other artists come over to see what another artist is working on at the time and be as excited as your artist is about it!Anytime someone comes to me and asks me where I’ve gotten my tattoos, I refer them here. I would sit in any one of the artists chairs and have them tattoo me because the atmosphere is so comfortable and friendly! I highly recommend this shop if you’re looking to get tattooed.

10/10 recommend! Got my first tattoos ever done here today and Phil was amazing! Explained everything with knowledge and throughly! He made sure I was happy with the tattoos before he started working on them and made sure I was doing alright the whole time! Wasn’t even as painful as I have imagined! I had a great experience here! The shop was well kept, great layout and everyone was extremely friendly. Every artist/staff member was extremely talented, as it showed in their work stations. I personally have gotten three tattoos at Electric Tattoo Parlor (2 from Connie F and 1 from Anabell) My husband has gotten 2 there as well. I love going to Electric Tattoo Parlor. Everyone there is very fun to chat with. They are super clean and really good at just customer service. I love the pieces I got there and love showing them off. All the artist there have a style and it’s amazing to see all the work. You couldn’t go wrong with anyone there if your looking for your next piece. ❤️

My 1st tattoo was done 6 months ago by a newer artist who no longer works there. The end result is nothing like I requested. I almost walked out after a few rounds of compromising the design and size with the artist. The quality is so so and most think I have a bruise at first glance. I plan to get a touch up elsewhere. That said, the parlor had a great vibe. It seems the longer-term artists are quite talented.

I decided to go in for my very first tattoo, and when I started talking about the guitar design, the staff directed me to Devin Stubbs as the guitar guy. He immediately made me feel comfortable and seemed really excited to help me design the tattoo I had in mind. Throughout the entire process, he was fun to talk to and he put together exactly what I wanted and told me that I could ask any questions that I had as we went through since I was new to the process. Also, he knows more about guitars and their history than anyone I think Ive ever met, so it was a fun day of guitar talk. I love the final result, and I couldnt be happier with my tattoo or my experience with Devin!

I brought my daughter to Emily for her 1st tattoo. She ended up with 2 and I got one too. Emily was AMAZING! Super easy to work with, very accommodating to my last minute changes and just unbelievably kind. The whole staff and vibe is super chill, very professional and super clean. Skye was awesome, and I think I might be back. Everyone there was friendly, and its a very professional, yet fun, atmosphere.This was a small job to work with a scar from falling in a bike race. I love that she found a simple yet awesome way to work with and around rather than just trying to cover it up. I didnt want to entirely hide the scar, so this was perfect. Thank you, Skye!

Caitlyn did my tattoo a few days ago and it is healing up really nicely. She was kind and took her time to do beautiful work. The shop atmosphere is also very chill and clean!

Caitlyn was absolutely fantastic, from start to finish my sister and I couldnt have been more comfortable or happy with her. She made us feel heard, never rushed, and her work turned out beyond what we could have hoped for. She provided a cbd cream, which made the wiping considerably less painful. At the end, she also had derma shields to cover the tattoos with making the healing process much simpler because of it. By far best tattoo experience to date, and I will definitely be booking with her in the future.

My daughter wanted her septum pierced. She just turned 14, so I had a lot of questions. Ian was great! He never made me feel like I asked too many, even though I’m sure I did. He explained everything and walked us through the entire process. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. He really knows his stuff and wants to make sure his clients understand what to expect. Very happy with the the service.

I had a wonderful interaction with Ian when I got a couple piercings. He offers a lovely selection of jewelry, and clearly explained the price points for certain styles. During the piercing process, he worked quickly and tried to limit the amount of pain I was in. He has a wonderful sense of humor, if you like dad jokes. Everything was super clean during the piecing, equipment was sterile and he changed his gloves frequently. Overall, would pay money to get stabbed here again!Edit: I got a tattoo from Anabel and it was great! She took my idea and ran with it. It was so much fun to be tattooed by someone who was almost as excited about the tattoo as I am.

I’ve been wanting to get my septum pierced for years… called yesterday to see if I could do it that day, and Ian gladly took me in. Super friendly and professional, made sure to explain the entire process and aftercare. Clean and cozy work area. After my personal experience, I HIGHLY recommend this place if you’re looking to get something pierced. :)

Highly recommend coming here. Met Teddi last night to do my sternum tattoo. She was great, guided me through the entire process made me feel like I knew her for years and calmed my nerves before starting. She’s Awesome! Love my new tattoo!!!! I needed my earlobes repierced, and found Ian from Electric Tattoo on safepiercing.com. He was kind and very helpful in helping me choose what would match my current piercing. I didnt know this coming in, but he can color-match the titanium jewelry if you have something specific in mind! He took regular titanium studs and made them match my rose gold earrings - it was absolutely magic!The salon is very clean, and I got to see everything get sanitized prior to use. The process was quick and virtually painless. As someone who got my ears pierced at Claires before, I can tell you that those piercing guns leave you hurting - the needle is not noticeable beyond the initial stab.I absolutely recommend it, and will be returning for future work.

Ian was amazing!!! I loved going here. I got my nose pierced and I was scared and anxious but he talked to me the entire time and calmed me down. Hands down the best place to get your piercings. Very clean and sanitized, and he was just awesome! Highly recommend him & this place!!!

Love this place. Wife and I both got tattoos here from Anabell, but everyone is friendly and talkative. They will guide you through the process, there was never a point where I was uncomfortable or worried. Workstations are extremely clean. Eventually Id love to go all the way around the shop and get a piece done by each of them. Its rare that you find that perfect storm of professionalism, attitude, and vibe, but Electric definitely has it.

It’s been a long time since I’ve gotten a tattoo so I did my research on local shops. First impression on stopping in was super clean and friendly! I placed a deposit and made an appointment. I emailed what I wanted, came in at set time and Steve was ready. Super professional and I felt very comfortable working with him. I wanted a tattoo of “Winnie the Pooh” and he went above and beyond! I’m super appreciative and will recommend this local business in a heart beat. Thanks so much for my new addition. It’s perfect.

Ian was awesome! I had called to see if they could do a walk in and Ian was awesome enough to take me the same hour! Such a funny and personable guy. Made my first piercing experience amazing! Cant wait to go back for more!!

Ian was great with our girls, we took them in to get their ears pierced. Very expensive, but worth every penny! They were so happy and it was no where near as painful as Claires. Extremely clean, extremely friendly! But please note, if you bring your child in bring their birth certificate, your photo ID and something with their name and picture like a class photo. They take this very seriously, and that made me extremely comfortable.

Went to go see Chandler for probably the 10th time. She consistently does a great job on all my tattoos and did such a good job on my newest piece. She’s awesome and her work is amazing. 10/10, would recommend.

Amazing first experience. Clean, organized parlor and wonderful vibe from all the talented staff. My artist, Krissy, was awesome! Her work is beautiful and her personality is fantastically charming. Loved her. I cannot stop looking at my new tattoo, it is perfect. Definitely going back for my husbands tattoo and more for myself.

Wonderful experience. Spent a long time calling shops all over trying to find somewhere available to Pierce my cheeks same day before I found this amazing shop. Got my cheeks done that day by Ian Whiskers. He spent plenty of time making sure everything was even and symmetrical, everything was very sterile, and I absolutely loved the experience there. 10/10 will recommend to everyone looking to get a piercing done.

First time getting a tattoo, and I was a bit skeptical at first. From the time I talked with Caitlyn, she pretty much laid out time-line on how long it would take to staying hydrated before getting inked. I saw her work on Instagram and also one of my friend got tattoo by Caitlyn few weeks back. It didnt hurt at all, either, and I appreciate that she made the seamless process for me 😀. Would definitely recommend Caitlyn if youre interested in getting a tattoo.

Easily a collection of the best artists in the Chicagoland area. Ive been seeing Tom for my work for a long time and couldnt be any happier. Its an extremely clean and professional environment.Having been to a variety of other shops, some parlors carry a certain stigma with them. This place undoes all those stereotypes. Professional, clean, and family friendly.Family friendly? Why would that matter you ask? Its simple. The shop has a piercing staff that is outstanding. Its best to avoid mall kiosks for piercings as they almost never have any training or knowledge of how to do it properly. This place changes all of that. They have a very thorough understanding of what to do, and are very sterile and professional. Dont bring your kid to a mall, bring them here.Any tattoo style you want, they can accommodate. Seriously, do yourself a favor and stop by!

I got a tattoo on my shoulder here 2 years ago. The shop was very clean, the process for setting up an appointment was very straightforward, and the atmosphere was great. Now, 2 years down the road, my tattoo still looks absolutely amazing, and Im very, very happy with not just the tattoo but the service and price as well. Absolutely recommend this place.

Went in for a consultation and Bryan booked me an appointment for the next day. He heard me out and drew up exactly what I envisioned. I could not be happier and the overall experience was great. The shop as a whole is very clean, professional and welcoming. They have a great selection of very diverse artists and great rates for the amazing work each person puts out.

Got my first tattoo here on New Years. The shop it super clean and absolutely everyone I was super welcoming. I was extremely nervouse but Connie talked me through it and helped keep me calm the whole time. She also drew drew exactly what I wanted and made certain everything ok the drawing was right before she started. Would definitely go back and reccomend to friends

This place was amazingly clean and the staff members were friendly, professional and true artists. Bryan Von Holst was the tattoo artist and and he applied to my inside wrist his interpretation and work from the Wildflower album from Tom Petty. Its absolutely beautiful! Its only been a week and I already received compliments. Ask for Bryan!

Called a few shops about getting my daughters nose pierced and I felt the most comfortable with Electric after talking to Ian on the phone. He was very professional and did an amazing job throughout the whole process. I was impressed with his attention to detail and he was very knowledgeable in answering our questions. Have been here twice already and both times my experience has been excellent. First time I walked in I wanted my tattoo that same day and I was able to make that happen since he had an opening in his schedule (Brian). The second time I went in there was most recently and was very furtunay to meet Teddi. I wanted a tribute to my dad who recently passed and I didnt know exactly what I wanted but explained to her I wanted a butterfly but did not want it to be free standing. I made an appointment for a couple days later and walked in to be amazed to what she created for me. She is a total badass and everything about her was awesome. I highly would recommend her to anyone I know.

Just got my first tattoo here. I worked with Connie and she was amazing! She worked with me on the design and didnt have any issues when I wanted to tweak some things. I love how it turned out and would definitely come back!

This is a new shop, but those chairs are filled with people who know what they are doing and have the experience to back it. The facility is VERY clean and comfortable. With the low partitions, you get a great shop feel and everyone is able to chat and hang out. Makes for a nice open and airy atmosphere.This past Sunday was my second appt with Tom [owner] who finished my back tattoo. He took his time to make sure I was comfortable with the ideas he had and followed through perfectly! It is great to find a shop that not only produces great work, but also has the passion and caring for the art they produce! Do yourself a favor and check these people out!

Ian is incredible! He helped me figure out the best belly piercing for me and was so easy to talk to and listened to what I wanted. Extremely clean and all around good people.

Without a doubt the best tattoo shop around and honestly it’s as exciting as Christmas when tattoo day comes when heading to ETP. You cannot go wrong with any artist there. Tom and Meagan only employee the best in their craft and everyone comes away with art they are proud to wear. My wife and I have been customers since they opened their doors and will always treasure the experience and the art from our visits to Electric Tattoo Parlor. Hope to be adding more soon.

They are all nice i told them i am nervous around needles, when i was getting my eyebrow pierced and the lady took great care of me and walked me through it. She was very cool and nice. I would reccomend getting a piercing here.

Everyone is very nice!I went in originally to check the place out because I found out my artist Nate Bjork (formerly at Top Notch) had moved on to this place. So I thought Id drop in and see him and talk about my next piece but, I had next to no clue what exactly or where I wanted it even though most of my answers to his questions at first were I dont know or Im not sure he still booked my appointment told me to email him or stop by with ideas and we could toss them around and figure something out. I came back with some reference type stuff examples of what I was thinking he took the time out (even though he was busy) to talk to me and said hed draw something up. I had already had some work done by him in the past and it is great still looks amazing and is exactly what I wanted. This time was different I gave him more of an opportunity to show how talented he really is. What he drew up for it was amazing the stencil looked great and I was very excited!This tattoo came out better than I could have imaged!The shading and outline is perfect! I have never seen such incredible detail and such a realistic look to a tattoo. I am getting compliments everywhere I go and I always recommend Nate and this place!While I was getting my tattoo my sister had her cartilage pierced by Meagan who was very nice to her and even explained everything she was doing.Even though I didnt get my nose piercing there Meagan offered to help me change the backing of mine to the shorter, after healing post.Everything was very clean and she was fast I was very impressed.Over all this place is very clean and has a nice environment and very casting staff.I will definitely be returning and I will make sure to recommend this place to everyone!!!

The tattoo artist Teddi was awesome. She did an amazing job on my full arm tattoo. Great line work and awesome watercolor work. Very personable and easy to talk to. Overall great experience.

They wanted to charge twice as much as I paid for tattoo to fix a tiny number done wrong and the owner said she was not part of it so price stands...you own the place and customer service should be first and foremost especially my first ever tattoo!!!. It was tribute to my parents who passed and that was very upsetting. Another place fixed it for minimal charge and now they have my business as well as friends and family.

Nate was my artist. Completely professional, willing to fit me in, work ethic like a champ. Did fantastic work, and I let him choose the color scheme and border, the shading is amazing. If I were recommending an artist, he is it. Thanks, Nate. I will be back for future endeavors

Amazing, perfectionist, friendly artist Teddi Garson gave me a piece ive been dreaming of. Only downside was the minimum price of 100$ my piece was worth maybe half that. But no complaints otherwise, highly recommend. And will continue to recommend.

Ian whiskers the piercer was AMAZING! He did so well piercing my daughters ears! Id go back to him for all piercings and recommend him to anyone.

The piercer Ian pierced my daith SO wrong it’s been a month and it is already migrating out of my ear. I understand that it is a hard piercing to do but you are a so called “professional”. Never coming back here again.

I fail to understand why there has to be a piercer in the shop in order to simply purchase a set of gauges. Shouldnt the prices already be marked for all the products available for purchase? Wasted my time going out of my way to buy something that they cant sell.

My piercing was done well and the place was super clean. I loved how the employee explained what he was doing with the cleaning process and how he was very clear in explaining the aftercare process.

So disappointed in the tattoo removal job! I end up with scares & discolored skin, not what I was promised!3 x $150 each session... And no apology or offer for compensation. Do not go there for tattoo removal! The worst!

My daughter and I were way over-charged here. She had a 10 minute simple black ink tattoo and was charged $100.00. My took 45 minutes and I was charged $200.00. Totally outrageous!!!

As soon as i walked in i was greeted by a young lady very nice and very accepting. I myself have never had a tatoo so i am always nervous when walkin in to parlors like these afraid of judgement. But this place is sooo nice and took the time to answer questions i had. Ill be having my first tatoo here :D

My niece and I got piercings today with Ian, we are truly happy with our piercings, and the service that was provided. We will be coming back!
