What a great place. I met with Sherry for a tattoo and she is simply the best. This one was to commentate my parents who both have passed. It is a very important tattoo. She took time to design something perfect and she nailed it. She made me feel so comfortable. Her technique is relatively painless with the right amount of numbing cream 😃 and her thoroughness is outstanding. The shop itself is clean and welcoming. Great selection of jewelry for your piercings. Artwork is amazing.The tattoo is pretty fresh so it’s still red but I’ll update in a week or so when it heals.

I love this shop!!! I won’t go anywhere else for tattoos. Nick is my artist and he has been working on doing a sleeve for me for a while. We are able to get little pieces done. He is light handed and very accommodating. He helps turn my thoughts into pieces of art. My son has been tattooed by Nick and Sherri and loves them both.

Ive been going to Nick for years! Absolutely honored to see him grow into the owner and constantly be booked out months in advance.Sure it sucks when you wanna keep adding but have to wait another 3-6months but his work is second to none! This was done 4 years ago and I couldnt be happier. Just wish I would have remembered the artists name that did it. She helped me out with some designing of what I wanted on the spot as I was having issues deciding. Ill be coming back here for my next tattoo for sure.

I have been going to Nick for 3 years now and I will gladly say I will never go to a different artist. Not once have I not been absolutely blown away by his work. It’s gotten to the point now where I just tell him what I want and I don’t look at it till the end. It always ends up being way better than I even imagined. He puts so much detail into his work that you wouldn’t even think of.

Ive been in and out for tattoos over the years and have been very enthused. I went back earlier this month to get a set of piercings with Matt, their apprentice piercer, and he was awesome. Great service that was comfortable and very welcoming. Matt was very patient and really helpful through the process as well as incredibly warm and kind. The new ownership seems like a great thing!

I had the professional courtesy of being tattooed by Nick McQueen. My wife and I both came in, my wife wanted a water color 4 leaf clover. That’s exactly what she received and the colors she wanted. I had a vision of getting a sunflower for my Grandma and an owl for my Grandpa. He personalized the sunflower with a G. This is everything I wanted and more. Most importantly this tattoo is HEALING PERFECTLY! The ink he used took to my skin, and with how clean the shop is you know you are going to leave happy. I honestly couldn’t be more grateful for my overall experience. Nick thank you again! I can’t wait to come see you again!

So, I dont write reviews very often ( its amazing how many reviewers say that). I just feel that Summit tattoo was unfairly maligned in other reviews, so I wanted to share my experience.I came with my 18-year-old daughter in 2018, to get her first tattoo. We chose Summit because my daughters friend had a beautiful delicate snake tattooed onto her shoulder by this shop. It was an exact replica of the girls real snake and was quite artistic.My daughter chose a symbol that was about five inches in diameter. I was afraid that it may be too painful for her, but the tattoo artist was very patient with her. He let me, my husband and her brother all stand near her. He let her take breaks as needed, and waited while we went out and bought her a soda to replenish her.The tattoo itself looked really good. It was exactly the image she wanted and he made sure that the lines were very sharp and straight where they needed to be, sharp and curved in other places.I did not see anything amiss in the shop. It was clean, quiet, low-key, friendly and professional. I would recommend Summit.

I’ve been to quite a few tattoo shops in my life and I’ve got to say this place is top of my list. I feel like I have finally found my go-to shop and go-to artist. Martin, the owner, was super kind, which hey if you’ve been to other tattoo shops you know this is not always a common quality for a shop owner. My artist, Nick McQueen, was not only super detailed, reasonably priced and thorough in his work, he was also very kind and understanding. Kindness goes a LONG way in tattoo shops so THANK YOU guys for being awesome. I will definitely be back!!*Update: I can also now say that their piercer, Amy, is fantastic as well! This place is truly wonderful all around :-)

I go to Joe for my tattoos but both Cici and Nick are amazing artists as well. They all take time to figure out exactly what you want for your tattoo and are just great people to hang around. Its a very clean place and all of their needles and equipment are sanitized and cleaned properly. They are very professional and always welcoming into the shop. One of the best tattoo shops Ive been to!! Highly recommend!!

Aimee pierced my nipples last night and today I literally feel no pain, I’m even wearing my normal bra and I can’t even feel them! Last time I had them done I wore a sports bra for weeks and they still hurt. She was so nice and helpful with aftercare and everybody in there seems great and it’s just an overall good vibe! 😊

First off I want to say that Joe Blackstone was a true professional. He did a great job with the crappy picture I emailed him and I really love the tattoo he gave me. Joe took the time to listen and put up with all my changes until I felt comfortable with the finished product. I highly recommend him and anyone at Summit Tattoo. I would not only say they are the best in Castle Rock but probably one of the best in the state.

Amazing work and friendly people!! My husband and I were in town from Kansas for a little more then 24 hours. We wanted to get tattoos on a wimb and they got us in before we had to head back. We LOVE our tattoos that Nick drew up and will for sure be back!

Just realized Ive never left a review here and I have to fix that. Summit is THE best in Castle Rock. All but one of my tattoos have been done by the artists here, and my husbands as well. Amazing artists, friendly and relaxed atmosphere, and great pricing.

My boyfriend and I have spent the last few weekends at Summit getting some work done and I couldnt be happier with the artist, Cici, the atmosphere, the owner Marty and the cleanliness. All of the employees are very friendly, patient and knowledgeable. Ive gotten three tattoos over the last few months that I am very pleased with. My boyfriend has also gotten quite a few, including some custom designs and a very complicated cover up, all from Camillia. All of the artists seem to have great resumes and Ive been impressed with the work that Ive seen them do while Ive been in there. I have an appointment with the shops piercing specialist, Nick, coming up and am super excited. I would recommend the shop to anyone in the area, I have spent many hours there as of late and dont have any complaints. Thank you guys for providing such a great experience.

I took my daughter in for her first tattoo. The staff was extremely attentive and really seemed focused on letting my her know what to expect and how the tattoo process would go. The tattoo artist adjusted my daughters drawing so it would fit in the space she wanted. I had my upper arm done from shoulder to elbow. Its a tribal Piece meaning family, lifes journeys etc so it cant be anything but perfect.Marty hand drew everything exactly the way it should be, I couldnt of been more happy with his work. His line work is the best Ive seen in my 5 years in the states. If you want a tattoo, I recommend Summit Tattoo and Piercings.A clean environment, great conversation, affordable prices, and amazing artistry from all the staff, what more do you need.Thank you Summit Tattoo, I will never forget my experience and wear my tattoo with pride.

The owner was definitely drugged out of his mind, my tattoo artist Cici was a Total crazy B##$. Not Only did she screw up my tattoo beyond fixing but she was also a crazy lunatic. They did absolutely nothing to fix the situation not did they even try. They just said Oh well, sometimes they dont turn out how they should, goodbye and they practically pushed me out the door.I would never recommend this place. And if your smart do not even attempt to go into that place. Go somewhere else where they will treat you with respect and customer service let alone a non drugged out place!

I had a pleasant visit. :) I was a walk in guest for a septum piercing, I was informed that the piercer was out getting lunch, but waiting wasnt a problem because I had to fill out paperwork anyways. Nick did my piercing; he was really nice, clean and friendly. The price was about 45 with jewelry. And they told me if anything happens to it, I can come back and get repierced for free. So thats pretty dang sweet.My only complaint is that the piercing was a little low in my nose, a slightly weird placement.Edit- decided to take down a star simply for the placement of the septum. It was placed too low and healed very painfully. Getting it done again properly realised how bad the placement made it.

Joe was the best tattoo guy ever. I was a little nervous for my first tattoo and got it in a bit of a painful place. Joe was super patient and his dad kept me extremely distracted from the pain. My tattoo had a lot of sentimental meaning and it turned out amazing. I wish I could give more than 5 stars.

Dont listen to any of these 1 star reviews. Ive seen plenty of work come out of that shop and have also gotten work done there myself. EVERY artist is very talented and they all do awesome work. And the owner, one of the nicest guys I think Ive ever met! Definitely recommend this place and will be visiting again and again

I am in love with my tattoo. My tattoo definitely cost more than what the original quote but well worth every cent. Cici did an amazing job not only did she meet my needs for a unique tattoo but it also covered my very scarred and maimed original tattoo. Staff has been nothing but helpful and pleasent. I would recommend her anyday. My tattoo did take very long, again it was colored and shaded to high standards (wouldnt you want an artist to take the time to make sure its perfect and to a high quality standard?)

We went here to get our girls ears pierced. Aimee was great, she she got them done quickly and without any fuss from the first kid, our second was tired and fussy but Aimee did a great job nonetheless and my daughter cheered up pretty quickly.

My sister and I came in right when they opened on a Friday for nose piercings. Nick did an excellent job, was friendly and professional! Overall a great experience!

Stopped in to have a few piercings looked at that were done at other piercing shops due to concerns about barbells being too short and a nose ring becoming embedded. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They helped loosen the nose ring and offered advice on piercing aftercare in a professional manner and were all very respectful. Will go back in the future for other piercings!

CiCi is hands down one of the most talented artists out there! She has done quite a bit of work on me, and I get more compliments on the work she has done, than the work I have had done elsewhere. She is professional, hard working and really strives to please her customer! The shop itself is clean and the other artists that work there are just as professional and talented as she is!CiCi does a lot of custom work, and can design most anything that you are looking for! Her work is original and amazing! If you are wanting to get quality work done, I cant recommend Summit Tattoo and CiCi enough!My whole family has had work done by CiCi now, and we wont go anywhere else for our tattoos!

Hands down one of the best tattoo parolors I have been into. Ive had the pleasure to have multiple tattoos done by ci ci all of which I couldnt be more pleased with. She was able to pull off a cover up on one of my older tattoos that I thought was beyond repair making it look crisp and like something Im proud to have on my body for the rest of my life. I have also been lucky enough to have some of her coustom art work tattooed on me and if you havent seen what she can wip up you need to take a look at her portfolio. Not only is summit a clean and professional environment they have great artist working there. Between Cici Joe Nick and Marty you cant find a better place to go. Thanks guys for letting us spend way to much time at the shop and thanks cici for all the hard work and amazing tattoos I cant wait to keep coming back

On Saturday I went here to get naval jewelry and it already broke!! Also, the ball that screws on the jewelry was loose even after tightening. And a gem fell out 2nd day after wearing it. Low quality jewelry. I wouldn’t recommend this place.update day after: another gem fell out(Didn’t get a receipt also)

These people do not care about their customers or their time. You can make an appointment but they can choose not to honor it. Also I have gotten 2 tats from them ( very basic ones,) and I have had to go back acouple of times for each one for touch ups. The people there will even tell you that it wasnt their work ( until you pull out a receipt to remind them) They never remember you... Move on to another shop they are not worth your time or money.

Cici is the worst tattoo artist I know. She completely messed up my tattoo and I had to go to another artist to have it fixed. She cannot even do the simplest of tattoos.Do Not Go Here, you will regret it just like I did. I wish I knew how poorly run this place was Before I decided to put something permanent on my body.The owner did absolutely nothing to fix the issue and I guarantee he was on something when I tried talking to him about my tattoo.Go somewhere else to get a tattoo done, tattoos last forever and you will regret your time here.

Had a nose ring issue that ended up taking 15 minutes at another store. Summit told me to make an appointment for several hours later and they would see if they could help. (I dropped by first, there was one person in the store and 3 employees, this call was to cancel the appointment after I walked in a much busier business who helped me right away)

Best lowkey shop in denver area no questions asked. Started going when CiCi was an apprentice and never looked back.They know their trade amd you cant ask for a better expieience. You bring in a sketch and ask how much, they give you an answer in about 20 seconds...they dont just quote you the hour price. If you know anything at all about tattoos, that alone says alot about their expieience and knowledge.

Horrible experience with piercings. My daughter and I both got our tragus done, and it was done crooked. So had to get it taken out for the infection to heal and went to bonaroo. Then to top it off, my daughters 3rd was to close to edge and ripped right off her ear. I would suggest going to Bonaroo. Very clean, very very experienced and professional.
