Calaveras tattoo studio

I sent in a picture of the tattoo I wanted. I specified the amount I had to spend, I made it clear that’s what I had. I said make it smaller, lighter whatever needs to be done to fit the price range. Of course quality is important but I also have to be realistic. I go in get the OUTLINE DONE ONLY, and I was asked to pay in full. Which I did. Went in to finish and was told that in order to finish I had to pay more. My tattoo is not done and I’m out 1000 dollars. I sent multiple people to Edgar and while I don’t expect a discount I do expect respect and transparency. Would never recommend and Will discourage people from going here. Terrible. Amazing! This place is absolutely amazing! The feel of it as soon as you walk in, the employees. Everyone is super nice and interested in what the other is doing. It was a great vibe and I would definitely come here again!Thank you so much to Sofia, who did an amazing job on my tattoo.

I had scheduled an appointment a week prior with a 100$ deposit to secure my appointment time. When I arrived, which was 10-15 mins before the scheduled time person at front desk said he didn’t know about my appointment till about 20 mins prior. I BOOKED A WEEK BEFORE. they had 4 walk in’s before me and they were prioritized over me who PAID A DEPOSIT FOR THE TIME. I will never return that was so unprofessional and they had no explanation on this situation. Save your money and go to someplace else!!!!!!!!

Edgar is a great artist and makes prices very affordable. He makes his clients feel comfortable, talks to you as a friend which makes the experience great and hes very patient. Customers comfort is very important to him and the other staff are very friendly. Great environment to be in to get your first tattoo or 20th. Recommend to everyone!

I love how my tattoo turned out Edgar is an amazing tattoo artist he really took his time to get every detail right.He really listened to what I really wanted and is very understanding he gave me a wonderful tattoo and worked with my budget I had.He has definitely gone above and beyond my expectations for my tattoo. I had my first tattoo don be Edgar the owner of the studio. Very professional and sanitary. The tattoo came out a lot better than the design I gave him, very detailed and realistic, great quality work. I’m designing my next tattoo. If your looking for a great artist, make a point to visit calaveras.

Took my wife to get a tattoo here paid the whole amount that he asked but he didn’t finish the session so we rescheduled about three times and every time on the day they gave us the appointment they canceled on us an hour earlier and kept giving us the runaround. Bad business. I Would never recommend this place to anyone. I rather pay another $1,500 to have someone else fix this tattoo for her.

I have known the owner since I came from Cali almost 20 years now and he and his crew have done an excellent job on all of my tattoos I would not go any where else. Great people.

This is the last place I would go to get inked. Literally the owner and his guy who has only two years of experience admits being green. I had spider done on my hand and re-done it twice. One of the worst tattoo jobs ive ever seen. I will post pictures so you guys can judge these lines that one yerold would draw better with creyons.

This place is amazing the shop is beautiful inside the artist are great so friendly the artist that did my tattoo she was easy to talk to i love how my tattoo came out means alot to me thank you so much i definitely recommend this place.

Great service at the front desk very nice and informative,the artist was great his work was fantastic once the final touches were put I was very happy with the final product and would go back again anytime.

So I told them I wanted a specific tattoo and had a picture and all and hey still couldn’t make it right can’t even make a circle. Do not go in here they tell you one person is working on it and then you have a different person

Twelve years ago I got a tattoo in that place and to this day the colors look bright and it looks divine, all people like it. I recommend the place. I wouldnt go to another.
