I had a very bad experience with online customer service, I was a little stressed, when I arrived at this store the people who attended me (Alyha and catina ) behaved very kind and helped me solve the problem, I recommend this place 100% would certainly return to buy in the store, no more online shopping.

I had such a horrible experience at one of your locations in Chicago Ridge Mall #3629. I am an avid customer of this company, and have never been treated so poorly and nasty by a rep. I asked for his name first said “don’t worry about it” and gave me a false name of Daniel and that was a manager. I later learned his name is Dominic Pitts.His customer service is deplorable and a bad representation of Pagoda/Banta. I will never give my business to this location ever again.Umi BrooksChicago, IL.

Definitely would not recommend buying jewelry here. Their staff at these locations are not very honest. They will lie to you about their policies to secure sales. And even though they are well aware of this happening they will not honor their word, and basically treat you very differently when you go back to get help. After speaking with customer service over the phone the sales representatives still lied to my face. Had to call the company directly to try and have them solve the problem after a going through a hassle. Learned my lesson after spending over $3000 worth of jewelry. Save your money, your time and yourself from a headache.

This jewlery stand is trash my husband and i went here and purchased well over 1000 worth of jewlery at the sales clerk urging we call ourselves putting insurance on our jewlery so if something ever happened to it we could have it replaced my jewlery was bought as a remember me and love sake my husband has stage 4 lung cancer so my jewlery and his mean the world to me well I go to use my insurance and Im told that the original sales person lied to me ... my hair caused by backs to come off my earrings as a result they were lost and I cried until I remember the insurance I went back up to banter today I am told i cant use my insurance unless I have the earrings which is not what we were told ...my heart is broke my husband is not long for this world and my love sake is gone even with insurance dont buy from here its a waste of money they lied to get the sale this place is a scam we spent hundreds of dollars on insurance

Tina was great, took my 3 month old to get her ears pierced. I was worried about the pain the baby would feel, Tina was reassuring, and quick. She drew the dots on her ears as many times as it took for me to be 100% happy with the position of them. They offer a nice selection of cute earrings and we paid about $65 bucks. Overall it was a good experience, thank u so much!
Last Sunday, I stopped at the kiosk to browse. An employee greeted me and asked if she could help me. I told her that I was looking to replace 2 recent cartilage piercing rings. We had a discussion about my piercings, and she gave me some advice. I asked if they do cartilage piercings at that location and would they put in the new jewelry that I was going to buy, and she confirmed both. I told her that I would be returning soon to make the purchase and thanked her for being so helpful.My sister and I returned that same week on a Friday. I did not see the person that I spoke with that past Sunday, but another woman approached us. My sister asked if she could see an earring from out of the case. The employee then said before taking out the jewelry, you do know that this earring will be at LEAST $55, right? I dont know if she thought we looked young, broke, or what, but that disrespectful, HIGHLY offensive comment should have immediately sent us walking. Instead, we played it cool, and just said, Thats fine. She proceeded to take out the jewelry and called someone else over to help us.After making our final jewelry selections, we got ready to pay. After the employee said my total out loud (I purchased 4 pieces of jewelry), another woman came over. She asked if the salesman offered their credit card to me. I said no, however, I am not interested. I then asked if she was the manager. She responded, No, she is, and pointed to the initial person who made the offensive comment. I then asked if they would be able to put the earrings in and told them that I was interested in getting another piercing. She said that they do not do either of those things. I told her that I was just there earlier in the week and someone else said that they do. She responded and said, Well, no I dont know why they told you that because we dont.The offensive comment (from a manager, nonetheless), the assistant manager only acknowledging us after she heard how much money we were spending, and inconsistent information is not the type of place where I will continue to spend my money. If I didnt need what I was buying due to the fact that I was having a reaction to the metal that was in my ear at the time, I would have NEVER proceeded with the purchase.
If I could give zero stars I would. Folks-don’t waste your money. I purchased a chain along with a pendant Chain broke. I went back and purchased a new chain and a warranty to accompany it. Chain broke yet again and as a result of the chain breaking the pendant fell off and is gone. I go back and apparently that warranty is trash only is good for so many weeks. Representative refused to offer me anything for the lost pendant. Do yourselves a favor, go somewhere reputable and buy something of value. Will never shop here again.

Me and my boyfriend went there, they were very nice but now i know why. They try anything to make a sale. Not only did they not explain that our payments were going to be bi-weekly (the lady said monthly) I’m also paying a lease charge i was never informed of, and it’s going to cost me more than double! I understand their job is to sell but they need to explain to people what it is exactly what they’re getting into when opening a lease. I feel tricked and betrayed. I myself have bills to pay to have to be dealing with this now and they just want to brush it off because of course they don’t care and can’t do anything about it now! I’m livid!
Went to Pagoda today to get my sons ears pierced and buy me some new nose rings. After my son and I stood there for over 15 minutes waiting no one asked us if they could help. I asked a question and got a very rude response. My son and I walked off ended up taking him to Claires to get his ears pierced. Yes, I did pay more but the customer service was awesome. I refuse to spend my hard earn money any place where the customer service is not good. Some people just do not need to work with the public. I did not drive all the way from the city of Chicago for this type of service. Im very disappointed and I do not plan on going back.
They have pretty decent quality stuff and their warranty for replacement is nice as well.

Just got my ears 👂 pierced by Joanna and she’s a true professional. She made me feel comfortable and at ease, she was super fast that I barely felt a thing and this was my 2nd piercing in my ear lobes. Excellent service indeed!
There are two Banter kiosks in Chicago Ridge Mall. The north kiosk, next to Auntie Anne’s pretzel shop, lied about every single thing we asked them and the south kiosk, outside Dick’s sporting goods, were honest, professional, courteous and got my daughter’s ears pierced with no problem. A salesman at the north kiosk lied about the size earring my daughter needed, lied about the price of the earrings, and most likely lied about their available stock. I have no idea why - but everything he told us, including the price, was 100% opposite at the south kiosk. Beware the liars in the world.
Regina and Tina and Banter north made my shopping experience very pleasant.
The to be assisted was close to 30 mins as both sales ladies were assisting other customers. They have nice selections though. But they cant assist wity putting earrings in unless its a piercing.

From the moment I walked up to inquire about the ear piercing process and purchase details, DJ was extremely informative, outgoing and kind. As a mom piercing the ears of a baby girl - DJ put me at ease and was professional and patient with me (and my baby) throughout the entire process.
My son got his ear pierced finally at 20 yrs old. The ladies were very patience and professional. Every thing was done with a smile. Get job.

They do pierce newborns ears. Must purchase theirs because it stays in for 6 weeks. They then do a follow-up appointment.
