Big Als Tattoo

My boyfriend and I just got some tattoos and a piercing and we had the best experience. Johnny and Nick are very talented tattoo artist and did some amazing work. Pics attached-Shark done by Johnny. Elephant and books with flowers fine line done by Nick. Toni did an amazing job on my nose piercing as well. The entire shop is very clean and all employees are very welcoming. Highly recommend!

Super friendly staff and really nice atmosphere! Everything was really clean and well managed.Went in for a nose piercing and my piercer was super supportive and sweet and had me in and out in a few minutes! Definitely want to come back if I ever get anything else done.

I came here to get a nose piercing done and Toni did it for me. She did an amazing job. Before she pierced my nose she made sure I liked the placement and was very patient with me. She explained how the process was going to go and made me way less anxious about getting pierced. She was very kind and an awesome piercer! Got both of my ears pierced by Toni who was so sweet and she made the process super quick!! All of the staff was so nice and helpful and the establishment was super clean as well

Upon arrival I was immediately greeted by Toni and Xandar. They had very welcoming customer service! I originally came in to get my surface tragus repierced however Toni immediately realized that my piercing was still open I just needed smaller jewelry! I then decided to get my nose pierced and she did an amazing job, fast and steady and professional.

The one thing I like about big Al tattoo parlor is the welcoming environment..John and the rest of the crew make you feel at home .. good convo great tats ..John has been tattooing me for a year now and I must say clean lines and detail he puts in to his work is excellent .highly recommended ..

I am the piercer at this establishment. I have gotten all of my tattoos from nick and johnny. The amount of thought and consideration these guys put into their work is insane. Incredibly creative and artistic. All of my tattoos have healed perfectly. We try our very hardest to bring back up the business and make people feel comfortable that they want to come back.

All the staff are so friendly here! I went in to get my eyebrow pierced and they helped me right away. They made sure to show me how the different bars look with plenty of photos of different eyebrow piercings. It helped me get a great idea of what I wanted for my look. During the piercings session I felt extremely comfortable and relaxed. When I was leaving the staff complimented the look and I felt so great leaving! They also just called to check up on me after a month of getting this piercing!! 10/10 experience will 100% be going again

This place is amazing! It was my first time getting something other than my ears pierced and all the workers there all made me feel very welcomed and less nervous. They offered me water and soda and all the workers were super easy to talk to! I was super surprised by their pricing, I had researched A couples other places and they all told me that a belly button piercing would be $60-100 and it was $40 here. I will definitely be coming here again!!

Johnny was awesome & very light handed. I went to get my nose pierced and he was able to do my tattoo for me all in the same day! I don’t remember the girls name that was helping but she was so sweet. & the piercer did my nose so fast didn’t hurt one bit.

Went in today to get my nose pierced the staff did a really great job. It was very clean and sanitary and they were really gentle and took their time on doing my piercing. They are very professional and I will recommend to go there for any piercings.

I went in there to get my very first piercing (septum) and had an amazing experience! I was welcomed immediately by the super friendly staff, everything was extremely clean and sanitary, and most importantly; the piercing turned out great! Everything is healing properly and I couldn’t ask for a better experience. I would highly recommend checking this place out. I’ll definitely be returning for more of their services.

Was such a delight going to Big Al’s, the staff were amazing and did such a good job on the tattoo. Went in the spur of the moment and they gave me exactly what I wanted. Stopped by as a walk in today for a nostril piercing for I and a Septum for my girlfriend. This was a repierce for I so it was a breeze, however it was my girlfriends first body piercing. She was nervous but quickly calmed by our piercer. Both piercings were done correctly, cleanly, and quickly. We could not be more thrilled with our results. I did not catch our piercers name but she was a female with longer dark hair and is amazing. The whole staff was friendly and sociable, while my piercing was being performed my girlfriend had been chatting with a staff member like they had been friends forever. We will be back, I recommend this shop strongly they are very very cleanly.

My daughter went in for a nose piercing, they were very professional everything was clean and sanitize. Customer service is a plus both gentleman who work there answer all our questions respectfully. We will return for their services soon.

They have excellent cleaning protocols, the piercings are not very expensive and the price includes the jewel you want, I have not had any problem with any type of infection and they provide a guide for the correct treatment of the piercings.Good place, clean and nice people.

Big Al’s is AMAZING!!!!!!! Best piercing experience I’ve ever had. Granted, I’ve had quite a few piercings, and yesterday was my second time getting my belly done as well as my first time getting my rook done. Their piercer Hershey was super super knowledgeable, and gentle as well. She has a great personality and made the experience very pleasureable. Will be going back soon!

Me and my friend came here for piercings and left with piercings and tattoos. All the employees are so nice and made the process fun. The piercings and tattooed turned out great. Definitely recommend this shop.

Found this place through mutual friends and it was only 5 minutes from my house. I got a nose piercing and it was super quick, I was in the shop maybe 5 minutes filling out a waiver, paying, and getting pierced. I liked how quick it was and Hershey was super nice and explained everything as it was happening. It’s been a week since my piercing and it’s healing nicely so far, no issues or anything. Only complaint is my fiancé couldn’t come in with me for support since he wasn’t getting pierced. (due to covid) but if you need someone to support you and hold your hand, keep that in mind!

Regina was absolutely amazing! It was my first tattoo so I was picky, didnt quite like the design she had drawn up but she was very patient with me and drew up a few other designs based on what I told her I liked. She never made me feel like I was being too picky and didnt rush the process at all. The tattoo ended up being better than what I had imagined and I cant stop staring at it! Super professional, and the space was clean, organized, and aesthetically pleasing.

I got my septum done here and I didnt have the best reaction. My piercer was super kind and took care of me and made sure I felt okay before I left! Plus the piercing itself is healing nicely and feels and looks really good.

Cool place, good vibe. I have been in and out of this place a few times. It is right next door to the paintball store I got to, to find cool oldschool paintball stuff and get my guns repaired. I dont think I would have got anything done there before but, the staff seems to have changed a lot and, for the better! When you walk in your greeted right away by somebody who is actually friendly. Everyone seems to be smiling and its got a family kind of vibe. Which in my opinion is exactly how a tattoo shop should feel. Anyway went in there just to check the place out again recently and was so blown away by the change and impressed by what art I saw I decided to make an appointment. I leave another review later and let you know how it went.

So I got a Medusa piercing here a couple months ago but never posted a review. The lady who did the piercing was kinda rude and just wanted to get it over with as soon as possible. Poor customer service tbh. No mouth rinse was done prior to the piercing (which from all my past experiences were done at different piercing shops). Also, she didn’t do any clean up around my outer lip after the piercing. I was walking around with a pool of blood on my top lip until I got home to clean it myself. One of the worst piercing experiences in my opinion.

The piercing lady Hersha was rude to the employees and to me and my sister who was their getting tattoos. She argued with an employee about my tattoo size when it was discussed and already paid for. She collected our money and was ruder after she received our money.She got smart when she allowed another customer to use the restroom, and told me and my sister that we had to show our medical info.on paper.When I told her about a HIPAA law she argued with us in front of other customers. The young ladies who did tattoos were so nice,but she was very nasty.When I asked for the boss.She stated rudely to go to the website then told me that shes done talking to me. My sister and I waited 2 hours to get service and we both have health issues, but she stated in order for us to use the restroom we had to show medical info proving it.I was going to come back and get several tattoos but because of Hersha I wont. She completely turned me off.

Whole new staff since the last time I was in here. still, always a very friendly staff and clean environment. you dont feel unwelcomed, like you do at all the other shops out in these suburbs. Hands down, 5 star rating :) Very classy artists with genuine skills. I love Big Als and everyone who works there: the new shop manager, the artists even the apprentice...this shop is the best!!!!

Went with my girlfriend to get matching nose rings. Her nose is bigger than mine and the ring used on her was entirely too small to be able to withstand the swelling. You would think that someone who has been piercing for 14 years would know that bigger noses need bigger rings and to also choose a ring with room for swelling. The ring completely submerged in her nose. When we called back, she automatically told my girlfriend that she must be allergic and offered to remove it for a fee! Really? Youre charging to fix your screw up? We went somewhere else (I was honestly turned off when told to put A&D on them) and the guy removed it and put a bigger ring in, only charging for price of jewelry. Her nose is perfectly fine now. Needless to say, this was our first and last time going here.

Got a small matching butterfly tattoo and it came out so nice! still healing can’t wait to see it fully healed. they were very nice too

Their piercer Kara ROCKS! She did a dermal anchor corset on me, and was professional, clean, and courteous. She took the time to ensure that it was lined up properly with my tattoo, and just did an overall tremendous job. And everything was clean, sterile, and opened in front of me! She is the only person I will let pierce me.

Nick did an amazing job on my rose tattoo on my lower back. The whole process took about an hour and half, this included the prep and tattoo. Price was extremely reasonable. I will be going back to get more done.

Very rude staff, I come to the door, they crack the door & ask my old lady, can I help you? It’s a big tattoo sign on your window, I’m here for a tattoo $&:/! If I had a lighter complexion I don’t think I would have gotten that treatment. Nick was the only bright spot for that business, now that he’s gone, the place will probably rot.

I’d give 0 stars if i could. Don’t waste money here. Only come here if u personally know the artist that works here otherwise id find another shop. Management is disgusting. Who yells at their artists when customers are around? I’d hate to see how the owner treats them when no ones around.. surprised this shop still has their doors open tbh.

Ive been to Big Als a few times, got pierced by their old piercer, Scary Mary. She was ok, guess shes been piercing a while, but i wasnt happy with my bellybutton, it looked kinda crooked. SO, I stopped in and talked with their new piercer, Kara. MAN SHE IS AWESOME! She repierced my bellybutton, and its PERFECT! She explained everything before she did it, and I barely felt it. In my opinion, Kara is awesome. I had her pierce my lip, and tragus after my bellybutton because shes that good. Glad Scary Mary is gone from this place.

Hersey did my piercing;; she made me feel very comfortable and let me know everything there is to know about aftercare. Shes super cool and very professional!!

I got my cartilage pierced back in January and realized my piercing was still hurting when I laid on it and touched it. I had my step mom look at it for me and they pierced my cartilage at a complete angle. The back of the piercing was almost touching my other piercings that weren’t near my cartilage.

Coming here was a terrible decision. My sister and I decided to get matching heart outlines. I thought since it would just be a really small heart it couldnt be messed up. Hers turned out perfect but unfortunately for me, a different person did mine and it literally looked like a blob. It was so bad I had to have it filled in. The whole point was to have matching hearts but now theyre different.

I visited the shop for piercing.. and I had a good experience, Hershey was AWESOME and very knowledgeable, and professional.The shop was very clean, overall I had a good experience, I would definitely recommend this shop! Thanks HERSHEY for a great experience.

Was told that piercer was going to be there when open, called , claimed she started at 2 , then Called again at 2:15 and the piercer wasn’t there. Told me to wait a couple minutes . Sat there for 15 minutes and didn’t even see her . I ended up just pulling away . Glad I didn’t get service there after that

Best tattoo shop around!

I went there to make a big tatto on my shoulder they ask 2500$ and when i asked them to give better deal they started speak different language to each other and laugh they make feel stupid in front of other customer so i went to other place .

Ive gotten 6 piercings here now & will always recommend them when asked!
