I can not express how happy and impressed I am with my tattoo. Not only did he do an amazing job on a portrait of my dog, but he was very professional too. He made me feel comfortable throughout, and took breaks to give my skin a second to relax between shading. Everyone is telling me how beautiful the tattoo is and I can not agree more. Such a talented artist, I will never go anywhere else for a tattoo but here. I really cant say enough great things about him and this shop. He brought my baby back to life with this portrait and I love it!

Awesome atmosphere and great talent. I came in with 20 plus year old tattoos and John was able to create this awesome cover up ( free hand). Already scheduled my next session. Highly recommend for any type of work! Fair hourly rate and pricing compared to others in the area.

Ive had five tattoos done by John at Red Moon - the most recent nearly four months ago. Each appointment, the space itself has been welcoming, clean, and clearly set up to place the client at ease. John does a great job explaining what hes doing during tattoo sessions while consistently checking in to make sure that everything is going well.As far as the work, Ive been complimented about the line work, coloring, and overall designs of Johns work. Even my most recent piece - the most colorful of the five - is still as bright and vivid as it was when I walked out of the studio.Im grateful that this studio is so close to where I live - Johns pricing is reasonable, his work is excellent, and the studio space is more than accommodating. Definitely stop in to chat about your tattoo ideas.

Been here several times between my husband and I, and we don’t have a single complaint. Shops clean, quality is great, and he doesn’t price gouge! Also, he is very meticulous and does his best to ensure you’re happy with everything before he even starts.Both of my tattoos have been of my kids feet and names, straight from the hospital stamps! The detail on both are spot-on, and they’ve healed great. My oldest I’ve had for six years now, and still has detail like it did on day 1.It’s safe to say we’ll be back in the future, hopefully soon!

John was able to fit me in for a quick tattoo on very short notice. Communication was easy and my tattoo came out great! The shop was very comfortable and I’m sure I’ll be back soon.

John has done every tattoo I have, he’s been a real solid artist from my first piece for my friend that passed away when I was 18 to the last piece I got from him which he also knocked out of the park on my forearm. AllThat said I’ve been getting permanent artwork from John for over a decade and now live out of state and still come into town to get work done by HIM only RED MOON TATTOO! 10/10 I always recommend!

Got my nose pierced here today. I was super nervous and Liz was amazing! She answered every question I had, and thoroughly. Didn’t rush me. Was super sweet about it and really made me feel so much more at ease and comfortable to go ahead with the piercing. Thank you so much! I would definitely come back again and see her for all my piercings.

John has done most of my tattoos and fixed the ones that he didnt do. His line work is always flawless and he has tremendous shading. He always comes up with an original design for any tattoo i get. John is THE ONLY tattoo artist I will go to for more work.

Got my nose pierced there by Liz. Honestly shed be the only reason I would come back. She was so nice and talked me through every step. Gave me advice on nose rings and when to change them. She was great!I will say this though, when I walked in there was a guy getting his station ready and he gave me a dirty look and didnt even greet me. It made me feel so uncomfortable. I just stood there for a few mins then Liz came to greet me.

John is an excellent artist! Shop is very clean. He takes time to get all the prep work right! Would recommend him to anyone!

1st time having work done by John. He was very personable and did fantastic work. When it comes times to having something else done, this will be the place I go.

So my granddaughter, 6 weeks mind you passed. Her parents go to get simple tattoo on the day she passed. Small, the babies name and dates of birth and death. Mind you small. This tattoo guy John somehow gets the wrong date of birth, mind you when he was told the right date and the original sketch had the correct date. He had to make the sketch bigger and the parents didn’t think twice to check the second sketch for the dates. He is a professional right? So in their grief they admired the tattoos later and saw the wrong month for the babies Date of birth. Anywho they call this guy and he tells them to come in about a week later to fix it. Now how can you fix a date w/o a cover up. We came up with the idea of just adding her birth date above her name. 5 small numbers still keeping the wrong date due to it being her 1 month Birthday on earth and the only bday milestone we were privileged to celebrate with her. When we go to add the 5 numbers we would have thought he’d fix it for free or a small fee. This guy charges $40 to put 5 numbers, small numbers mind you on this young couple who just lost their 6 week old daughter. We had to travel over 1 hour to this guy. Business is Business I understand but this guy is an total jerk with low morals. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else to go get work done with him.

My daughter got her birthday tattoo there. She loved the final result and I was told that she got a good price. Thinking I may get one there myself! Unlike other parlors, this one was open when it said it was.

Very clean and nice staff, however my piercing was done incorrectly. Stomach piercing was way too shallow and as it healed started to protrude outwards. Have to get it redone unfortunately.

This was the only place open that day and I was in a rush. I had to buy quality jewelry because I knocked my nose ring out. They make sure everyone is safe during these times and sell great jewelry for a low price.
