I been taking my son to Maddy for haircuts for three years now and I can’t praise her enough! From the first visit Maddy has been nothing short of amazing. Thank you Maddy for your unwavering commitment and for making each visit a success we are incredibly Grateful for you.

I’ve been bringing my kids to fun cuts for years and they’ve done a great job. The last time I took my son right when they opened with an appointment, the guy was around 15 minutes late. On top of that, he didn’t cut my son’s hair good. He left a longer chunk on the bottom of his hair. One of the sides wasn’t cut right and also the top of his hair. Waste of $30 plus tip. Now I have to pay someone else to fix it -_-

I love this place! I have taken both my son’s (4years and 7years old) to Jasmine for a about a year now and we absolutely love her work. They also have a slide for the kids to play while they wait and it totally makes the haircut a super fun experience. I would recommend to any parents looking for a kid’s cut. Book online with Jasmine :) Thank me later

My sons have been seeing Ms.Maddy since she was back in their Upland location. They really enjoy going in, seeing her, and talking to her while she cuts their hair. We love how clean they have the place, and how friendly they staff is.The stylists have venmo and zelle account QR codes posted, so you can tip them that way if you dont have cash for it. I also really like that I can now schedule my kids appointments online so I dont have to call and pull them from cutting hair. At this point the only thing I have left to add is well continue coming until Ms. Maddy is no longer there.

My 11 month old had his first hair cut today with Yurico and she gave us the most unforgettable first time ever! Her passion shines through her energy and soul. My son absolutely loved her and had a great time as well as felt safe with her! She was talking to him the whole time and making him feel like he accomplished so much on that little chair! His photos say it all! Not only does she follow instructions very well, her recommendations were on point! I’m not sure how long she’s been doing this, but she’s amazing! Thank you, Yurico for the best first time ever!

I would give them 0 stars for effort if I could. They have no phones and their appointment windows are strict. What’s the point of opening up last minute appointment? It would be nice to speak to the actual location other than an operator who has no way of getting a hold of the salon. I’ll never be using them again.

Horrible service. Far lady at the front was incredibly rude and ignorant. Made us wait 15-20 min after our appointment and didn’t tell us when anyone would be with us, my kids were watching the tv in the waiting are and she moved it so they couldn’t watch it. Another stylist was about to help us and she sent him home and told him we wanted to be seen by someone else. Which was a lie. We ended up walking out and she still said nothing. Horrible ghetto and it was disgusting.

Maddy and Yurico did an AMAZING job on both my daughters hair! I am so pleased. They both listened to what I was looking for as far as my idea for the hair styles and they were so perfect with my girls. Maddy cut my 6 year olds hair and Yurico cut my 4 year olds hair.I mean, how can you not keep coming back to such a friendly, kind and professional place? Even though they are recently so busy, they fit us in within 2 days of making an appointment. Yes, they require a $10 booking appointment fee up front, but it goes towards the final total. I think it is totally fair.They used this Argan oil spray on my girls hair and it feels so good! I want some for myself too!

Maddy did an excellent job on my baby first haircut, she has a nice charisma with kids. Definitely coming back with her.Sadly Maddy doesnt work on Wednesday and my sons hair was cut by another person. She was ok, but I would highly recommend Maddy.

I loved this place. It was the first time my son (3) did not cry during a hair cut. Natalie did an amazing job with him. He loves the movie Cars. So it helped that he was able to sit in a mini version of lighting McQueen. I was happy to pay for this car cut ✂️ experience.

Went there for an ear piercing and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately they did not have much of an earring selection. It seems like a great spot to get a childs haircut too.

This was my daughter’s first salon experience, and our hairdresser was great. She was gentle, she asked what we wanted, and we loved the haircut in the end. We also got a really cute frame with a before and after pic commemorating her first haircut. Thanks! We will be back!

It’s my first time here and the girl Maddy who cut my son’s hair did it so perfect! I recommend going here, because the staff are very good with communicating with the kids and recommend some hair products.

The team here is so wonderful! They are equipped with everything to keep children occupied and they engage with them so much! We had Roxy and she did an amazingJob and was so gentle with our son ! Definitely recommend and will only be coming here for our children’s haircuts!!

My daughter is 3yrs old and was due for a haircut. This was her first experience and I looked into several different places but decided on this spot. It was super cute and the other reviews were on point. So I brought her in, we didnt have an appointment because I was unsure if my daughter would even want to stay, she was already reluctant to getting her hair cut. However the woman who helped us (Ana) understood and signed us in. My daughter was crying but once she saw some other kids and how they got to sit on these cool ATV bikes and watch movies she started to warm up. Ana ended up being our hair stylist. She was super sweet to my daughter. I explained what I wanted for her and she did an awesome job. I ended up getting a little certificate for her first haircut with a before and after picture and her little locks of hair. Everyone was super nice and made us both comfortable. Now my daughter keeps asking to go back. We certainly will be back soon! Thank you for a wonderful experience.

All these lovely ladies who work here taking care of kids cuts are in my opinion top notch when it comes to giving giving special needs kids haircuts. I cant say that they specialize in this but my son who my son who is special needs, will actually sit still and get his hair cut.

Took my one year old here for his first cut. They were patient. I thought my baby would be crying through it all but tvs and toys really do help. Worth it!

I bring my sons here and they love it. My son had trouble getting his hair cut but here he gets to sit on a car and see tv. I recommend people to come here.

My son Kayden is 3 & autistic so getting a haircut is difficult. Jasmine cut his hair for the 1st time & she did an amazing job. She’s patient & understanding. My son looks so handsome with her cut. I found my son’s new stylist.

Popular place and very easy to make appointments online. TVs at each station make it great for the kids to stay still and haircut quick. Been here for a few years now.

This place seems like it works for most parents but if you’re looking forward for friendly service for kids who have some anxiety or autistic kids this isn’t the place for you. Just venting about my first experience and of course will be my last. You’re on a time limit and haircut is $30. To me a little on the expensive end. The money isn’t my main concern more of the failed good customer service. I was told by Tina last week when booking the appointment if this place specializes with kids who have anxiety towards getting their haircut and said yes and also said if the child is to scared to go through with it that the deposit is fully refundable for this case. When coming into the Chino location today of course my kid was not having it and refused. The hairstylist’s didn’t look to enthusiastic . Number two , when asking them about the refund the hairstylist Jasmine said that they don’t do refunds there to call who ever I spoke to. Called Tina back and explained the situation and did ask to call me back to call back the hairstylist that helped me out , I’m guessing to validate the situation. Tina said , sorry we don’t do refunds after telling me last week that they did. Tina said she checked with the owner and the owner said no refunds and thought the information she provided was part of the policy. Can’t blame Tina. I’m writing this review to hopefully help another mom that has struggles with their toddler and haircuts and are passionate about customer service . Don’t assume these places have optimal service and have techniques to ease a child’s fear. Also I don’t think a business that does not HONOR what they say is a good business. I get the purpose of a deposit but if an employee stated refund, they should have honored it. Thanks for reading this review.

We love Kids Fun Cuts! They make hair cuts for kids an absolutely fun experience. From first time cuts complete with framed photos to older child cuts, this is the place to go for kids cuts. We’ve been going to Jasmine for almost 10 years. She is amazing and followed her from the Upland location to the Chino location. We highly recommend Kids Fun Cuts and most of all Jasmine! I usually have Dez cut my 3 year old sons hair since his hair is very curly is hard to find someone as good as her. But Roxy was amazing! She was so patient and nice and very fast, my son love her. He was very calm eating his lollipops watching baby shark lol.

We had Anna as our barber. She messed up the hair in 2 different spots for my 2 year old son. She did not do anything to console or calm him down while she was cutting his hair. She did not even had a lollipop or any sort of candy to give out to my kid. Luckily I was prepared and brought my own. This was the worst haircut experience my kid has ever had. We had taken him to a barber and it was completely fine. My son didn’t cry at all and he was MUCH younger at the time. It’s my kids birthday in 4 days and we have to deal with this.

The team at Kids Fun Cuts really goes above and beyond for the service they provide. My sons first haircut was just done and he looks fantastic. Maddy made sure he was comfortable and having a good time. We got the option for a framed picture and lock of hair for his first experience, it was an awesome time for a very reasonable price. Thank you Maddy for making his first time so fun. He only cried when we left, thats how good it was.

The employees are great and they knew very well on what theyre doing. They interact with the kids very well as well, the ambiance of the place is nice. They made me and my three year old daughter feel welcomed. They pierced her ears dillegently and offered her toys and a tablet so that she was comfortable. Highly recommend.

Love bringing my son here. You have to book your appointment to be seen. They now have a play area for the kids while you wait. We always see Jasmine, she does an amazing job!

We absolutely loved our experience at Kids Fun Cuts. They make it worry free for your child to get a haircut. My son (5) and daughter (8) look forward to going every time. Kids Fun Cuts has fun seats for the kids to sit on and a TV in front of each work station (for distraction). I would recommend this place for anyone with children and we will be returning for our next trim.

We always have a great time going in here. Our kids love it here. They even have a small play area so the kids can enjoy their time while they wait.Place is busy on the weekends but Jasmine and Debbie were so accommodating.

I am very disappointed going to this place. We went for a First Haircut for my 15 month old. Ana was our Barber she asked what I wanted and she did the complete opposite of what I asked. My son has curly long hair. I wanted a trim around his face which is trim by his ears and forehead to get his hair out of his face. She cut all his curls from the back so now he has no hair to brush. Never again!!!

My son was seen one hour after the appointment time. Yurica and Jasmine were so nice. It’s sucks that even if you book your appointment your selected hair stylist has to be available. Mine was having back to back issues so it took her longer.

Definitely coming back, my son usually cries when he gets a haircut but he did good getting his haircut here. He was able to be on his favorite car (McQueen) and watch cars, which helped him through his haircut.

We had a family emergency and I called to let them know we are running late. mind you they dont answer their phones, I called them over 10x. got told by the owner to just head there to see if they are still able to take my son. granted we were at least 15min late and I do understand they have other appointments, however, I asked during the phone call if the owner would please contact the salon to see if the hairstylist would take my son because I didnt want to waste gas and the patience of my 2 year old just to be turned away. never got a call back. got there and got turned away, we rescheduled for tomorrow. when I called again, some other girl answered, I asked for the owner since she knew my situation and she said shes recovering from surgery and is not able to talk. I asked if they would wave todays late fee considering we had a family emergency, tried to contact the shop like their email says to no avail and we did reschedule for next day. the girl said you were late, we cant help you rudely and hung up the phone. THIS IS NOT A WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS. been coming to kids fun cuts for at least 3 years (upland and chino), recommended them to everyone. NEVER AGAIN.

I have never written a review in my life. But this has been the WORSE experience of my life every single time!!! If I can give 0 stars I would!!! They do not work with you at all if you are late because of an accident or anything, but when Jasmie was over 30 minutes late for my appointment because she had to fix someone elses mistake she didnt even want to help us we literally had to fight for a 5 dollar discount. But when we are late they take my 10 dollar deposit and ask for another one to book again. Only their time matters not yours. I gave this place 3 chances really trying to like it, but all they care about is themselves and their money. Never coming back here again! Waist of my time .

After trying other kids hair cuts place. I decided to try Kinds fun cuts in chino. They really know their craft Selina Was patient and fast In cutting my sons hair She even got him comfortable enough where she could use the hair clippers first the time.

Great place for my 2 year old sons haircut. The stylist was patient and fast with the haircut. My boy was crying and moving and the stylist still gave a good fade haircut. I recommend this place I have only been here 3 times and each time was a different stylist and all 3 did a great job.

My husband took my 4-year-old for his first haircut since the pandemic. My son has sensory issues and did not make it easy, but the hairdresser was very patient and unfazed by my sons meltdown. Plus, his hair looks great!

Amazing friendly staff. Clean and they have your kid looking brand new in under 15 min. My son is almost 7 so he does a good job at holding still but I noticed how sweet and patient they were with the wiggle worms and cryers.

Yurico is amazing and has a heart filled with patience! My son is autistic and dislikes haircuts, but ever since he has been under Yurico’s care he has made a huge improvement! He is very comfortable with her where he sits on his own while getting a haircut by her. Previously, he would cry due to feeling overstimulated but Yurico always keeps him at ease. I live almost 2 hours away from Chino and without hesitation, I make the drive for my son to receive the best care from her. That says a lot. If you decide to go with her, your child will be in great hands.Yurico, if you are reading this… Thank you so much again, we appreciate you!!

I took my 2 year old here, and was nervous because it was his first time at a salon. (I usually cut it). But he did amazing, thanks to Maddy who let him pick his car and movie to watch. And the way it turned out surpassed my expectations! And I have already gone again. This will be our hair cutting spot for sure!

It was easy to check-in and finish my daughter hair cut but We did not like the fact that they don’t dry the Hair. I can’t travel with wet hair 10 miles and get my daughter sick.

Took both of my kids here for their first haircuts on 4/1/21. My daughter is 5 and she got her first little trim. The lady was so good with her and helped ease her nerves. Once they were done, they put a bow in her hair. My son is 1 and got his first big boy haircut (I teared up) and the girl who did his hair was wonderful! My son didn’t cry once and she was so patient with him. They asked me what both kids liked to watch because each station has a tv to play a cartoon or movie for your child. They also have Polaris quad seats and a race car seat. This place was super cute and they did a great job with the littles. There’s also a little play area but it was closed due to covid. Oh yeah, they can also do adult cuts as well.

Great salon for kids where the staff follow strict covid guidelines. Appointments highly recommended and check-ins occur before you enter to reduce people in facility. One parent per child. Everything is very clean and sanitized between clients with disinfectant at every station. Staff members all wear masks correctly and tightly to face. Once you get past all the covid precautions you even get a great haircut! Our hairstylist was very friendly and has a great nurturing tone for little ones (my daughter is 4). We will return!

Jessica was amazing my son usually moves a lot getting a hair cut and he stayed very calm with her the haircut came out great definitely will be coming again

We have been taking my son here since he started getting haircuts. The stylists always do a great job, they are so patient with little ones! My son loves sitting in a race car and watching Paw Patrol while he gets a fresh cut

My son had his first haircut today with Jayla! She was sweet and kept him calm while managing the clippers and scissors very well on a wiggly 15 month old. He looks great and loved watching Cocomelon and driving the little car. She made him a cute first haircut certificate at checkout. They are also very good with covid protocols. Door open for ventilation, one parent per child, and temp checks as you enter. I recommend this place.

Irma was the best. She has excellent communication skills, and she understands details. I will retake my kids.

We have been going to this place for a bit now and we have always been on time or early and still we had to wait 15 to 20 mins to be seen which was fine with us but today we had an appointment and my husband was 10 mins late. We both work so we were unfortunately a bit late but they refused to see my 3 yr old son but still charged me. I called the place since we have been going since my son was born but the daughter of the owner didnt credit me for another appointment or made an effort to help. She said since we were late they couldnt see him and that was policy and thats that. We cant be late but they can have us wait 20 minutes because theyre behind. Even the daughter said i dont know why that store is always behi d. So they know theyre always behind and still refused to help us out. when asked to speak to someone who could help me I was told to talk to Maggie. I asked to be transferred but said I couldnt be transferred and that there was no number. So I couldnt talk to her though I was told to talk to her. I was told I needed to go in in person to see if I could talk to her. Not very good customer service. Neatness to say I wont be going back!

My sons first barber experience was 100% successful the stylist was patient and welcoming made my boy less nervous

Roxy is the best! This is his 2nd haircut with her and love that it is a stress free experience .. plus his haircut was on point! Highly recommend!

There were 2 stylist working on children when we had arrived and only 1 person ahead of us so we decided to wait. 1 of the stylist left after finishing the cut she was working on without any notification. When the remaining stylist was finishing the child in front of us she approached us and asked if we wanted to still wait. I felt at this point it was only because my son had gotten hurt on the slide and was crying. I felt she was trying to make it like it would we best if we left for his sake. But he had already calmed down. I felt she asked because she was close to being done and knew she had an appt ahead of us but didnt notify us sooner. We were notified the time of the appt. She stated she would take us prior to the appt if they arrived 5 mins after the appt time. So I said might as well we had already waited there all that time. The appt arrived 5 min late and she took them. This was frustrating and unprofessional due to the communication. The extra wait due to short staff would have been appreciated prior to us waiting over an hour.

Nice place and clean. Absolutely recommend to everyone, the stuff very friendly. I always take my son to cut his hair here.

Denise is great with kids which is a plus and the cut she gave them is awesome will come back in a couple months. Favorite place for kids cuts.

My little guy got his first haircut here. The lady was great at her job, he does not sit still for anything but she had no problem keeping up with his wiggles.

I’ve had bad experiences in taking my 3 year old a cut he would freak out but when my friend told me about this place I thought I’d give it a try an I took him in he was actually excited when he saw the car chairs an it went so amazing he let the lovely lady cut his hair an was so happy to receive a lollipop an balloon will definitely recommend it to mommy’s who have kids that don’t do well around new people an a crowd place they work so well with my child an I appreciate the patience they have💜💯

Did a walk in for my two boys. It was a wait but worth it. Very patient and good with the kids. They honor the appointments so the ones that came in with an appointment were seen in a timely matter. Will definetly be back but with an appointment first.

Great place for kids that hate haircuts. In and out in 15 minutes. A few tears but they made it through with a great hair cut for my boy. Definitely going back.
