BLUF: Clean facility, friendly staff, INCREDIBLE waiting rooms! As for the work, my artist (Danny Lee) has been working on me for 21 years, and his work is great!Because Danny has done 13 pieces on me over 21 years, its obvious I think he does amazing work. He is great at taking your idea and enhancing it with his DECADES of experience. I can also say, if you care for your tattoos, theyll last... I will share images of two tattoos from the mid 2010s in addition to my most recent one which was done at Underdog.I will focus the rest of this review on the facility and other staff.The check in process is quick and easy. Its all on a tablet, including the ID copying/photographing. The staff that took care of me was friendly and efficient!There are two waiting areas with comfortable couches and chairs, as well as TVs and even an arcade machine.A lot of your experience will depend on your artist as each one has different chairs/tables and a different setup/area in the building. But no one looked like they were slumming it at Underdog. You should be (relatively to the act of getting a tattoo) comfortable with anyone.Forgive me not taking images of the facility, I was too busy catching up with my friend Danny as he penetrated my skin repeatedly with ink covered needles... Again...

My 15 year old daughter wanted her septum pierced and she told me about this place. The front desk lady was an absolute gem of a person, she was super nice and friendly. The atmosphere of the place was great. Kirk was amazing with my daughter. He walked her thru exactly what he was going to do and made her feel so comfortable. I HIGHLY recommend this place for piercings and tattoos. Great shop, friendly people and super CLEAN!

This place is amazing! My daughter got her ears pierced for her 13th and they were such kind and amazing people. I would recommend this place over any other for sure.Also her ears look great and even and they were so knowledgeable and informative 😀I cannot speak highly enough! Thanks guys

THIS IS THE BEST PLACE TO GO! I have been going here and working with angel for months now! He has done my whole arm and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome of my tattoos! There are serious super talented artists in this shop! The Underdog tattoo co staff have become like family to me! Such amazing people and work come from out of this shop! Again I end it with this, THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO!

After reading lots of reviews I decided to give this place a try and I was absolutely blown away. All of the staff are nice and funny. Yessica did my tattoo and she KILLED it! She brought my idea to life and the end result was outstanding. I HIGHLY recommend her and this place in general.

Best experience I have ever had getting piercings! Kirk not only explained to me what would work for my anatomy and why, but also was very careful and detailed about placement! He was super nice and the best part is they stopped hurting after about a day of getting pierced! This guy really knows what he is doing and I will definitely recommend 10 out of 10! If I could give more then 5 stars I would. Literally one of the nicest experiences Ive had at a shop!

I happily travel 1.5hrs to this shop for exception work done. Ive tried other shops in Clarksville but they do not hold a candle to this one. How? Glad you asked. They answer the phone....are open when you AN APPT (unlike others), they KEEP the appt. All the things that a business does that wants to stay in business. Oh and the pure talent of Ms. MONET.... (insert chefs kiss here). She is just freaking awesome and if you want portraits done (& so much more)....shes your gal.I have NOTHING bad to say and only good experiences. Cant say the same about the other shops in this area.

Picked a tattoo for my husband and Angel got it done. Even though it was not a traditional style that Angel normally does it was still perfect.Second tattoo is from Monet, she was wonderful and so very creative.

Moved to Clarksville from Orlando and wanted to find a tattoo shop to continue my artwork. Been to a couple of shops around town, but this one stood out to me. As soon as I walked into the store front I was greeted with smiles and good vibes. The appearance of the store front was good vibes. The staff was good vibes. The atmosphere was good vibes. The owner Hailey and Tattoo Artist Sloas were very knowledgable and professional and every bit of what kind a person should be. From the time I walked into the shop, to the moment I left the shop with fresh ink; friendly hospitality, good vibes, and great conversation. I have found a new home to continue all my pieces I want to get done. This shop deserves the hype and the press. I don’t know how this shop isn’t number one in Clarksville. Whether it’s your 1st tat or 21st, this place will do quality work and make sure you are taken care of. This place is not after to steal your money and slap ink on you or turn you away and tell you to make an appointment, to come back another day. Genuine. Personable. Down to earth. Compassionate. Come check this place out and see for yourself.

My husband and I got our first tattoos yesterday and Jesse made it a very cool and chill experience. Since it was our first time, he took the time to explain every step to us and helped put my nerves at ease. Definitely recommend him and Underdog tattoo co.

So much talent in this studio! Angel and Monet did awesome jobs on myself and my husband. I have met several of the artists in this studio and their work is all high quality and beautiful!

I got a daith piercing for migraines and have seen so much improvement! He was so helpful in explaining the whole process to me and helped to ease my nerves. My migraine immediately went away as soon as he pierced my ear and I haven’t had a migraine since! Thank you so much Red Beard Piercing!!

My grandmother passed away a few months ago so I wanted something to honor her. This is my first tattoo and I love it. Marsh did an amazing job. These are photos from the first day so I cant wait until its fully healed.

Stop looking for a tattoo shop, youve now found it - its Underdog Tattoo Co! Set foot at the shop for the first time yesterday with my husband. Eveyone we encountered the second we walked in was beyond friendly, polite, and helpful which is hard to find in most tattoo shops! I did extensive research before finding them and Underdog Tattoo Co is undoubtedly the best tattoo shop in Clarksville. Monet tattooed both my husband and me, and she did a fabulous job. She was professional, friendly, and courteous. We felt right at home there, and the ambiance couldnt have been more perfect. I could not recommend them enough. I am so glad I chose them, and will continue to choose them in the future for all future pieces!

Brandi was very professional and I enjoyed getting pierced by her. I got my nips, nose, and Christina piercing. She marked the area and had me look in the mirror for the placement I wanted. She went above and beyond in customer service and made me as comfortable as possible. She was honest about the original piercing I wanted and I decided to go with the Christina. I’d recommend her to my friends. I will get my piercings from her in the future. Thanks Brandi for your hospitality and honesty.

Monet did an absolutely amazing job. She took me as a walk in with a rough idea of what I wanted and was able to add her own flare while keeping it in my vision. Her bedside manner is awesome and easy to chat with. As as artist myself, it was really great to meet someone I felt so confident with. I still have it wrapped but I will add images at some point. Thank you so much Monet! I will definitely return at some point.

I have gotten tattooed by both yessica and Brandi and BOTH artist are extremely professional and easy to work with. The shop in general is very inviting. I think I have found my tattoo shop while being here in Clarksville.

All the artist and apprentices are diligent and proud of their work. It’s a great environment and everyone on staff is awesome to talk to. I’ve gotten multiple tattoos from different artists, and I really enjoy Angel and Kyle. Check them out if you get the chance!

I just wanted a little banger tat that was super simple and I went to another place that is near underdog and didn’t feel comfortable there at all. That’s super important to me to feel comfortable where ever I’m getting tattooed. So I ended up coming to underdog and it was the best ever. The girl at the front desk was super nice and friendly. She was super helpful. Then we did have to wait a little while because we were just walkins, but the staff that wasn’t busy talked to us and made me feel so comfortable and welcome. They offered us drinks and stuff and they kind of made it feel like a comfy hang out session too. The guy who did that tat has already done another one on me and my experience was the same. 10/10, amazing. I never want anyone else to tattoo me other than the people here. Super clean, the best staff ever, and quality work. Love it.

They made my first tattoo experience amazing!! I got tattooed here about a month ago by Yessica and she was awesome! She took the time to talk to me about placement and size, she gave me the best suggestions and I completely trusted the process. My tattoo has nicely healed and I’m absolutely in love with it. Definitely will come back!

This place is clean and spacious! Everyone is friendly and the process is smooth. Theyre constantly adding upgrades and growing their business. My artist is Danny and is by far the best artist thats worked on me in my lifetime. Very affordable pricing.UPDATE: My review from before still stands true. Theyve added more space since the last time I was there so theyre even roomier than before. I was able to see some of the other artists in action too and I gotta say, theres some great talent in there. This has to be the best tattoo parlor Ive ever been at. Its very clean and the pricing is very reasonable. Yessica did my tattoo, she was so nice to me. She also got the tattoo done fairly quickly. The environment alone was very inviting and comical. I highly recommend for anyone looking to have a good time with being tattooed!!

This place is great! Very nice people, they have a really nice gal who works the front desk and she does her best to get you in with whoever is available. All the artists that I’ve met there are nice and warm. Unlike the shop across the street, We walked in, they barely acknowledge us and laughed us off for a time to do a tattoo, we’ll be avoiding that place. Underdog will be my go to place from now on!

Ive been getting a 3/4 sleeve with Danny Lee and his experience and knowledge is evident in his work. I would recommend anyone who wants a tattoo done correctly to see Underdog Tattoo. I will definitely not go anywhere else! Were getting there, beautiful work though so life like. My 3 children 2boys and a girl Angels and the background will set it off! Thanks Danny!

Got 2 tattoos here within a week. Marsh who is the owner. Did both and both times he was super gentle. Made jokes with me. And was very understanding when I needed a little break while finishing up. And the line work? Outstanding. I definitely will be back to get more in the future.

This place is amazing! I’ve been wanting a back tattoo and I gave Danny Lee an idea of what I was wanting & he did a beautiful job on my first session. Yessica did my first ever tattoo. She was so great at walking me through the process and immediately made me feel comfortable. It ended up being a really fun experience! I would highly recommend her and will definitely go back to her for any future tattoos!

Brandi did an excellent job! She was professional, thorough and very kind. I highly recommend going to see her. I will definitely be back.Update: 5 months later had to get daith removed (elsewhere). One side was too shallow, my body was trying to push it out.Additionally--Almost 2 weeks after the initial appointment, I had to return to Underdog because one of the balls fell off of the curved barbell and it jewelry fell out of my ear. She had to put in a smaller gauge ring without the bead. It caused so much irritation as the ends of the hoop were crossed over each other, as there was no captive bead. Trying to get in touch with her proved to be challenging, reaching out with questions with no response back.A lot of time and money wasted. I will be going elsewhere.

Brandi did an amazing job on my anniversary tattoo on my arm! The lettering is very clear to read and she was precise with the detailing. Not only was everyone super nice but they were quick to get back to me and very professional!

I was referred here from another piercing shop in town. You know when the people who do this for a living recommend another location that they must be something special! Was not disappointed!!! Andrew and Brandi took care of us. What a professional staff, so detailed, so clean and friendly. I will not go anyplace else after my experience at Underdog.

So it took me a long time to find the perfect shop. The last time I got tattooed was in 2012 and it took me 8 years to finally find a shop that met all of my expectations. When I say I cried with tears of joy because of what marsh was able to fix on my sleeve I had started is a understatement. He has transformed My bad lines from a previous tattoo “artist” I let him have free range on the color choice since I went traditional and let me tell you. Best color ideas and placement. I have had already 3 sessions with him and I am not going with any other tattoo shop.The shop is very clean and with the newest tattoos equipment. Every artist in there is polite and listens to your ideas and they won’t bs you just to take your money, they actually care about the art of tattooing and you.

The staff here were absolutely amazing! I took my niece in to get her nose peirced and they were so polite and kind. They offered valuable information on cleanliness and care, and made it an overall present experience. Its beautiful inside and very clean. I would recommend coming here, 10 out of 10, and will definitely return!

I just had a huge arm piece done by Marsh and it turned out better than I could have ever imagined! From the consult till the end my actual session I was extremely happy with the professionalism of not only Marsh but the entire shop! Marsh did an amazing job at making sure the design of my tattoo was exactly how I wanted it did not get frustrated or annoyed when I wanted to make a million changes. You can tell he takes pride in his work and thay you walk out happy! I will be using Marsh in the future for all the rest of my pieces for sure!!!

Just finished my first session with Danny! Not only was he as an artist great, but everyone else around was a pleasure. The shop itself was clean, professional, and entertaining. I see myself getting a lot more ink done here in the future!

Walked in to get a quote and because me and my best friend was downtown we walked in and instead of greeting us the tall black bald man sitting on the couch said they were closed. And then we walked over to get a quote because me and my best friend wanted to get a matching friend tattoo and he asked me “how many tattoos I had which I don’t understand the relevance of that regarding the small tattoo that I wanted. All I’m going to say it that the whole vibe was completely off and if that’s how they treat customers I wouldn’t advance anyone to go there the level of disrespect was very much in the air.

My tattoo artist was Marsh. He did exactly what I wanted and was patient with me and answered all of my questions. He made my experience such a blast and was extremely nice. He made sure to wipe down the table and took his time. This is now where I will be going to get my tattoos!!

I never heard of this shop until a friend referred me to danny.He did a great job on my tattoo that I wanted. He was willing to work around my work schedule.I like the vibe there. Professional, chill and welcoming.

It was a special running so it took hours . Belly button was quick but the tongue I was so scared finally got someone to hold my hand then I get home and it’s crooked

Showed up at 8:30pm and they close at 10pm and the door was locked. They unlocked the door and told us they had one artist and were closed. Didnt bother to offer any information or help at all. Not sure how they keep in business by closing early and not even bothering to help potential clients.

The absolutely best tattoo shop lay out and positive vibes with welcoming staff. Nothing but respect, none of the off putting vibes. Marsh’s traditional is something worth traveling from around the world for.

Underdog was great, called up there for a quick tattoo, with everything going due to covid they were still able to get me in and inked, timely, professionally and safely. Brandi did a great job with sizing, placement, and execution. Still healing but planning on getting some more ink in the coming weeks!
