Evans Second Skin Tattoo

Terrible experience so far for a first time tattoo. I originally spoke to a woman named Madison, she told me to come in and she would be the one to tattoo me. I drove an 1hr and half to the shop(Im currently camping in the road) I arrived to the shop Madison she was a wonderful lady took down all my information but then, she said shes passing me off to Vlad. I said okay if you cant complete the tattoo at least youre willing to let someone else who can. I left reference pictures and everything I needed for a tattoo on Monday, I called on Wednesday and vlad didnt even know who I was. Madison never gave vlad any of my information, I arrive Thursday to see if any work has been completed or any designs drawn up, to my surprise, nothing!! again Madison and Vlad have not seen each other to talk or exchange information, now my appointment is supposed to be Saturday at noon. So now Im in the shop and I ask Vlad for my refund of $60 back, he then tells me their are no refunds. I said totally understandable if you actually completed any work but a pen has never been touched to a piece of paper to draw any designs for me, he just refused to give my refund when there was clearly an error on the shops end, and with all this miscommunication who wants to get work done by a shop like this. So now Im told I have to speak to the owner, who they dont know when they will return and they have no number or communication for me to contact the owner. So am I out of $60 now because of their mistake and miscommunication between co-workers. it should have been a sign when there was no online portfolios and no artist portfolios actually put together for the shop. The UV ink they offer(which is hard to find a shop that offers) is what brought me to them. But after this, I just want my refund back and to go somewhere else, they already scared me enough without any ink

The BEST tattoo experience Ive ever had. My artist was Manni, who made sure I was totally comfortable and who did a fabulous job. The atmosphere of this place is so laid back and chill and the prices are great for the work thats done. Went in on a Saturday night at around 9 and was out by 10:30. Honestly have to say that Ill be getting all my future pieces done here. No downsides to this shop. Thank you so much for going above and beyond expectations!!!

I had my ears pierced by Tori on Saturday. I drove from south GA to visit family. I wanted to get my ears pierced by Tori because a family member recommend her and she was awesome! She was very professional, answered all of my questions, and took the time to make sure I was comfortable with the location of my piercings. If I get anymore piercings I will definitely go to her! Everyone that was working was very nice!

I had Alex and he was fantastic! The place is clean and they had SO many great pictures and examples. I had no idea what I wanted or where and Alex was super patient and helped me pick the perfect tattoo. Even when I got home and showered to realize there were a couple lines that were too thin (a problem with placement, NOT Alex) I called and Alex right away apologized and booked me an appointment for touch ups. Ive been to several other tattoo shops and after today I wouldnt dare go anywhere else.

Came in for a nose piercing & Tori took care of me right away. The staff that was there was very friendly and family oriented so it makes you feel comfortable. During the process Tori made sure I liked the placement of where my piercing was going and also was accommodating to my “moral supporter” aka best friend lol. She was thorough with aftercare treatment & what to expect, I would give a lot more than 5 stars if the option was there. Will come back for future needs & also refer to anyone else.Thanks Tori! I love it

5 stars is not enough for this place and ALL the people there. At first the experience didnt start so well but I can tell you I WILL be going back. They did EVERYTHING to make it better and definitely worth an hour drive. I have several other tattoos but I can honestly say after getting this one it is my favorite and they have a new lifetime client now. I will not go anywhere else.

Everyone always seems excited about customers and their tattoos/piercings even if they arent the ones doing it personally. Ive had nothing but positive experiences here. Ive gotten 4 piercings and 4 tattoos from here and theyve always been sanitary and considerate. Ive worked mostly with Tori, Vlad and Travis.

Quite disgusted actually. I had a tattoo done a year ago July 2015, and Ive spent the past year seeking out artists that could fix it. I shouldve known what I was in for with the free touch up pitch and the ease of the walk-in schedule. Needless to say nobody can fix it, letters are almost missing, and I will need to have laser tattoo removal for a tattoo I paid $175 for. Neither the owner or his wife told me the person that tattooed me was on his first day there until AFTER the tattoo, and that artist no longer works there. It is terrible. Uneven, gouged, missing ink, and letters so close together that depending on how I move my arm it magnifies the mistakes. So essentially, I will have paid $1000 to fix something that couldve been a great quality piece somewhere else for maybe another $25. Will not be back.

Madison did my dream tattoo! I’ve been wanting a snake for the longest to represent my love for my personal snakes. I had an idea of what I wanted and she changed my mind to something a lot better. I LOVE my tattoo and she did an amazing job. I felt comfortable sitting back and talking with the staff about my snakes while waiting on her to set up as well.

Few red flags:1. Told to come in at a specific time only to show up and no one knew we were told to come in and they had another client scheduled for the time slot that we were told.2. My family member wanted a simple and small tattoo. The artist there said he wasn’t gonna do a simple tattoo and make it bigger. Exactly what the customer DIDN’T want.3. We were told to come back and we could leave a deposit. THAT WAS ALL WE WERE TOLD. Came back and the place reeked of weed. We left. My family member contacted about getting their money back only to NOW BE TOLD that there aren’t any refunds on deposits and that there is a sign above some cabinet saying so.Well if the place wasn’t so dark and smelled like a drug house then MAYBE we would have seen it. Never going here again and to anyone considering this place...look somewhere else.

Went in to get an estimate on a tattoo probably just a little bigger than the size of a quarter, and she tried to tell me it was $175! Are you serious!? Having 22 tattoos all professionally done and all with lots of color, I never had to pay that amount unless it was on the much larger size! Absolutely INSANE here. Thankfully there’s SEVERAL other shops nearby that’ll do it for $100-125.

Madison done my first tattoo, and she done a great job. The only problem I have is that it was only 13 small letters and they charged $130. Loved the work just not tje price I gave for it.

Had my daughter’s ears pierced by Tori at Commerce location. Tori explained everything in advance and was wonderful with my little girl. Awesome experience!! Cleanliness and sterility are of upmost importance to me and they exceeded my expectations. Would definitely go back.

This is the day after, but I told Vlad Id give him and Evans five stars. Really good price for almost two hours in the chair--and the grey wash thrown in. 1st tattoo outside Tennessee. I have seven by six artists. 5 star. Hope it looks this good in a month. Touches for free. (Level 7 Local Guide says good work.)

Wow! I had a monroe stuck inside my lip from a different shop in Clarkesville. I came here and for 30 dollars they worked on me for nearly 2 hours. They went above and beyond to get it out and it was incredibly deep. It obviously took a lot of hard work. The people who worked there were warm and caring and Holly had no problem using extra materials. They were not cheap people at all. They did their absolute best. It was clear the employees had a lot of experience and worked their best for the customer. I cant express how much better they made the experience. Ill go here next time to get a piercing or just to get a tattoo.

First impression was the shop is very nice. I had Kevin do a half sleeve on my left arm and I was BLOWN away. He exceeded my expectations and I will definitely be back for another tat very soon. Loved this shop. 5 star for sure

Got my ears pierced here and it was my first piercing in that area. Later was told by a friend that they put a nose ring in my ear. It has fallen out multiple times and after multiple missed phone calls, they still don’t return my calls or answer their phone. Don’t go here ppl. There are way more professional people and places. Evans isn’t worth the time or money.

Amazing professional artists. Amazing tattoos and badass piercings. Insanely huge collection of piercing jewelry to choose from. Artists are incredibly knowledgeable in their respective roles and always willing and ready to help you and if they cant they know who to direct you to.

Just tried to get a quote on a tattoo. I called, went by and even messaged on Facebook. I got a response when they were going to be in the next day at 1pm even though their hours say 11am. Okay whatever. So I go up there the next day. No one there. The store is closed. So I sent another message on Facebook asking if I can get a quote on a tattoo where I wanted it etc. They finally got back with me 2 days later saying I need to come in they couldnt give me a quote over Facebook.Yeah right!!!! Like Im going to waste anymore time!!! Im not important enough for you to respond in a timely manner. Youre not important enough for me to give you my money!

Prices are ridiculously high, the artist that worked there and did my first tattoo worked out a great price and I had showed him the second tattoo I wanted and he quoted me 150 on it. I go into the shop and I’m told that it will be at least 300$. The tattoo is reletively small with mostly black line work with little detail and color. I don’t understand how one artist says that they will do it for 150 and then being told that it will be at least double that price!?

TERRIBLE customer service. Your customer service while you are paying for a tattoo will be fantastic but when you come in for your free touch up, it is bad. They called to reschedule my touch up appointment LESS than 15 mins ahead of time. They knew that I lived 30 mins away and did not have the decency to try to catch me before I made the drive out there.

Such an awesome tattoo shop. The staff is professional and friendly. The prices are 100% worth it because of the quality that you get here. Huge selection of piercings and other services too!! 5 star

Girlfriend got a belly button piecing at a different shop, they told her to use bactine for treatment witch did not work. I called to ask if they could give me any advice on how to help her and i could not be more pleased. Tori Was professional and also knew a lot about the subject, for a minute i thought i was talking to a doctor.Highly recommend!

This is where i have gotten all 4 of my tattoos. Great place to go if you love great work. Only problems i had was that they dont freehand the sketches and that it is pretty pricey. Otherwise its my favorite place to go

For you first tattoo or any tattoo I highly recommend this place and I highly recommend a artist there names Madison! She is phenomenal and very helpful! Everybody is really nice and really want to make you happy with whatever you’re looking for!

Was very pleased with the staff, very sweet an very communicative with us. Tori did a eyebrow piercing an nose piercing for my niece that just turned 16 and she was very happy. Thanks Tori!!!

Warboy did a great job with my 6 gauge earrings. Alex did an awesome job drawing out the design I wanted for my forearm tattoo. The tattoo turned out amazing. Best tattoo I ever got.

Not a place I would recommend to anyone! I wouldn’t give one star if it allowed it. Willy the kid done mine and I would have been better of letting my 2 year old kid do it honestly. So now I’m paying fortunes to get it removed

Did a walk-in for my first piercing. professionally done & the people were nice.

Got my eyebrow pierced and purchased two ne barbells got- when it healed. When 8 got home the beads got both nutte ones are cracked and not useableTotal bummer-

Brought my 4yr old in to get her ears pierced and they were fabulous! Everything was well sanitized and we were extremely happy with the ear piercing.

Madison was awesome. She did the same tattoo for my husband and I and we were happy with the whole experience!

It was my first tattoo and I couldnt have asked four a better artist. Vlad did an incredible job and my tattoo exceeded my expectations!

They were awesome and provided me with a sterile barbell for my tongue in a size you cant typically get at stores.

Im very disappointed with Ive tried four are five times to get my tattoos touched up and they say they cant do it so I guess I will have to pay someone else to do it so if you decide to get a tattoo dont go there I have 4 tattoos from here and I found Evans phone in Wal-Mart parking lot and I still cant get a touch up

Nothing like getting a first tattoo that looks like a kid did it then having to go pay a huge chunk to get it covered up somewhere else don’t go here....
