Highly, highly recommend Tribu! Pay the extra, get professional and quality care. It was clean, all equipment and practices were highly sanitary. The actual process was quick and fairly painless. Evie and Allie were so sweet and incredibly patient with my 6 year old daughter who wanted to get her first ear piercings. They helped make it a fond and happy memory and trust me, my daughter was terrified. We almost had to turn around and go home but with the softness and kindness of this incredible staff my daughter was able to go through with her dream of the past 2 years of getting her ears pierced. This is the place you want to get your piercings done!

Super pleased with my helix piercing I got. My piercer Sarah triple checked and made sure the piercings were even on both ears. Attention to detail and super sanitary. I felt hardly any pain at all. I’ll definitely be coming back here for more piercings!

This was my 2nd time using them. I had Sergio the first time and he was amazing! Didnt feel a thing. Today I had Susan (?) and she was great too. Very nice and pleasant. What I love you most about this place is that they dont use a gun and they are so sterile with every piece of equipment. Anything that touches your earlobe is sterilized. And the aftercare instructions they give her spot on. I had no complications with my first piercings with them. Highly recommend. Make an appointment!

I had a wonderful experience for my first visit here to get my nose pierced, from first arriving to leaving. Eddie was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and fun to talk to during the whole process. I was very impressed and extremely happy I chose to get pierced at Tribu. I will definitely come back for any other piercings in the future. All the staff here are very welcoming and comforting.

Sonja was AMAZING! She was so sweet, calming, patient, and thorough. I recieved a conch piercing and even though they’re said to be painful, I honestly didn’t even feel it! She explained every single step of what she was doing. Will definitely be going back for all my piercing and jewelry needs.

Today I went to Tribu for an eyebrow piercing. Previously, I had other piercings done here and purchased jewelry. The procedure was explained well, as were my jewelry options. Sergio has a pleasant manner and puts you at ease. He explained my after care well. I love my newest piercing!

First went to the shop in Norwalk which was beautiful and had great staff. This one is just as good. Very friendly staff. Lots of variety in piercings and jewelry in general. There’s a little bit of a wait from walking in and getting a piercing but that’s just because they explain to you all the safety procedures. Love this place. Definitely will come again

The only place I trust with my piercings! The staff is so open and friendly, all experts and willing to answer any questions or concerns you might have. Especially Liv, they are always so fun to talk to and really ease your nerves! The piercer Sergio is the best! He shows and explains exactly what he is doing, to make sure you feel good and you know what’s going on. Their store is always clean, and welcoming. Tribu was super clean and the staff were great! Sergio did both my 11 year old daughter’s second lobe piercings and also redid my mother-in-law’s first lobe piercing in the same visit. He was very thorough keeping everything clean and explaining every step as he went all while making jokes to keep things light and calm! Both girls did great and said they felt little to no pain! I would highly recommend Tribu.

10/10, couldn’t recommend enough! I have gotten a total of three piercings (two within the last month or so) from Tribu, and all of them have been healing beautifully. I have been to both the South Norwalk and Danbury locations. The staff at both are very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Both piercers I had were professional, kind, calming, and great at explaining what would happen before, during, and after my and my daughter’s piercings. The facility is clean, and there is a nice selection of jewelry. I highly recommend going to Tribu for your piercings!!

Tribu Danbury is my favorite shop ever. I have gotten over 10 piercings done with them and each one has been such an amazing experience. Today I went in to get my septum re-pierced. Alley is always so friendly and kind and I was so excited to get pierced by her today. I told her about the scar tissue from my old piercing and she checked out the area to see if she should re-pierce in the area, or move it back a little. She took the time and had the skills to understand the anatomy and believed the piercing was still open. She opened it back up and got my septum in and it was amazing! Most piercers would have rushed or not understood the anatomy and she did such an amazing job. Literally made my day. Liv at the front was also so sweet and nice. TRIBU FOREVER!!!!!

Sergio pierced my septum around 5 weeks ago, and my friend got her nose done. It’s healing amazingly quick, looks great, and it’s in the perfect spot. He was thorough in aftercare and instruction, and made sure we felt comfortable! He walked us through every step and there were no surprises. A very smooth piercing experience and we will be returning!

I always recommend Tribu to people I know. I’ve gotten pierced at the Norwalk and Danbury locations and it’s a good experience every time. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful and the whole procedure is always clean. Ally was my piercer at the Danbury location and she was so sweet and professional. I will be going back!

This shop is really nice and good at what it does but it is expensive and will charge for every little thing. For one cartilage piercing I have payed over to 200$ including 10$ for help putting the earring in. and 35$ to change the bar from the bar they told me I needed to get originally to a shorter bar that they then said I needed to get. which I cant even use for my next peice if because its not sterile.

Everything about Tribu is amazing, staff accommodated us, very nice, very clean & organized. The owner who pierced my daughter’s ears had the best personality! I would highly recommend Tribu! Thank you!

Best experience, I could ever ask for! My daughter has been building up the courage to get her ears pierced for a few years now and decided that after a friend’s birthday party would be the day. I didn’t even make an appointment since she has chickened out before, however after seeing the reviews I had a feeling Sergio was the right person to calm her storm and by the grace of God there was a same day appointment for the right time. Not only was he able to help get through her fears, he celebrated how brave and beautiful she was after the fact. Thank you again for such an amazing experience, considering we live in Pennsylvania, this could’ve gone differently!

The best ear piercing experience. The customer service was exceptional from the moment you checked in Liv was very kind and patient. Sergio interpersonal skills and piercing skills is exceptional. He makes you feel welcome. He communicates with his clients and make you feel relax and want to come back. Had the best experience. Sergio was very professional and he walked me through every step. I went in 2 separate times and both times he did a great job. It’s easy to make appointments online and they have a lot of options for jewelry. You can expect the best service from the people that work here, super friendly. They speak Spanish if you’re looking for someone bilingual. Will keep them in mind if I need any other piercings but for now I’m all set.

I haven’t been pierced by anyone at Tribu yet, but instead came in to have a couple of plastic inserts placed for a procedure. All I can say is don’t let the “mall aspect” of Tribu drive you away. I was personally shocked by the cleanliness and the professionalism of both of the piercers.I did deal with one sales associate who wasn’t the most pleasant and who also gave me the wrong insert for my nose stud. The two other workers however, were pleasant.While there’s a wonderful selection of jewelry at Tribu, I wish the piercing room felt a little more private. They left the door open while one woman was getting her ear pierced and also when I was laying down for my swaps. I don’t necessarily “mind,” but I think a private environment would be a lot nicer.Also, if you’re in need of jewelry changes like I was, just be mindful of the price. I paid $30 in total to buy two plastic inserts ($5 each), have both placed (again another $10), and then have my metal jewelry put back in ($10).While I feel called to complain at that ridiculous price workup, I really enjoyed working with Sergio and the other piercer. They seem to care about providing quality piercings, as opposed to just a quick mall sale.

Every staff member is super helpful and professional! You can tell they all care about informed consent and love what they do. I have 3 fully healed piercings from them and 2 more on the way :^)

Sergio is an absolute pro. Love him. He pierced my 8 YO daughter’s ears yesterday, and I could not have imagined a cleaner, safer, more fun, or more painless experience. He was wonderful. I’m going to go back to get my own ears pierced soon! My daughter said it didn’t hurt at all, and I appreciated the time he took to teach us about the process and how to care for her newly pierced ears.

Got a daith done today and it was such an easy process. They do request an appointment be made but walk ins are allowed. They were able to fit me in today. It wasn’t rushed and was super clean! Everything is opened in front of you. No guess work. Everyone was friendly but super professional. Their assortment of jewelry is by far the best I’ve seen! Will definitely be going back!

**UPDATE 5/2024** 5 StarsWe came back to this Danbury location to get nose piercings. And they totally redid the store. Sofas, closed off piercing area. It looked so much nicer and updated. Same piercer, and he was still totally great. Just a really sweet and genuine person.Super expensive, but that also has to do with the jewelry we chose. Very happy with our mother / daughter nose piercings.Solid 4 1/2.The piercer was awesome and explained everything to us as he was doing it. The piercing came out great.This would have been a 5 but the place needed some help. Put a small sofa or 2 in the waiting area.Have a privacy curtain so other people can’t see you get pierced.It would take very little to make this place a tad nicer.

10/10 would recommend. Sergio is a qualified piercer who treats you like a friend. He explains the entire process and thoroughly cleans everything!!! Definitely coming back to Tribu (at Danbury Fair) when I want to get another piercing done.Thank you Sergio

Today was the third time I have been pierced by Sergio and I have nothing negative to say about this place. This place is very clean and the staff is always friendly and they give clear instructions about after care unlike other piercers.

Sergio is the best. I was so scared to get my vertical labret pierced about a month ago he walked me through everything and made it as painless as he could. Today I went back and got my other nose nostril pierced and so did my husband. Sergio is the best.

They did a great job! My girlfriends ear closed after she took them out for surgery. When she tried to put them in one ear would bleed. Sonia did a great job opening her ear without re piercing it! We saved money on it too.. the two women in the front were also friendly and nice. Helping her choose another earring. I highly recommend this establishment for piercings. Its very clean and sanitary.

Tribu in the Danbury Fair mall is an awesome store with wonderful staff. Tribu is the only place I go to for my piercings. They always do perfect work!

Ran down the procedure , education , & I knew I was in good , professional hands . The shop was cute , small & clean . I got my tragus & conch in my left ear & it came out beautifully . I def will be returning to this place for my right . Enjoyable experience & atmosphere .Update : Returned on 7/7 to get my daith & conch done on my right ear , & my sis did her helix . Had Sergio this time . My experience with him was even better . Hes hilarious & had me , my bro & sis cracking up . 😂 Such a pleasant experience once again . Booked an appointment with Sergio for my belly button piercing on my birthday. I was nervous before I got there because I’ve only had my ears pierced once someplace else when I was younger. We got there & I was instantly comfortable with my piercer. He educated me on very important things to take in mind when getting a piercing. It was quick & minimally painful, I was giggling during and after as well. Days before this I had an elaborate plan to watch very carefully how I have my navel pierced, worried for several reasons, mostly because it’s a commonly misplaced piercing.. but when you’re lying on the table, not everyone likes to watch- including me. I looked away and it came out absolutely perfect!! 3 days later, I’ve been in zero discomfort, keeping up with aftercare and I now have this new bling I’m obsessed with & you cannot pull me away from a mirror. It’s all around a better experience when you can trust your artist the way you can trust Sergio. He is very welcoming and takes the perfection and sterility of his work seriously. Thank you, Sergio!

I’ve gotten my Daith from Danbury tribu and many body jewelry pieces. My faith healed perfectly Sergio is very professional and straight forward , I just needed my nose piercing switched from another piercing shop messing it up and everything was very sterile , clean , great environment and customer service.

Sergio did my nose and my friend’s rook piercing and he was SO amazing! He was very professional, explained the process and also… the piercing didn’t even hurt at all! Also the younger girl working at the front counter was adorable and so nice to talk to while we waited and picked out our jewelry. 10/10 experience and will definitely go back for more!

I got my ears pierced here today and the man who pierced my ears was amazing! He walked me through every step and told me what everything he was putting on my ear was. He explained what to do after my ears were pierced. He got my ear piercing perfect!!! I highly recommend this place to anyone getting anything pierced! 💗

I went in to get my third lobe piercing done, and it was such an amazing experience. Making an appointment was so easy and there are reminders sent via text. Sergio walked me through every step and made sure that I knew what he was doing. He is very knowledgeable and professional. There were many different options for jewelry and everything was sterile. The piercing was quick and easy and the placement is great. Sergio fixed my second hole that was previously done incorrectly. He also made sure to explain to me and make sure I knew how to properly take care of the new piercings. I will definitely be coming back for more piercings in the future!!

Great experience. I took my 5 year old for her earlobes and everyone was so kind and great at explaining everything to her. The girls at the counter were so kind and got on her level to speak with her. They were so accommodating. There was a small miscommunication about my piercing but they quickly fixed it. Overall we are very happy and would go back.

We had a terrific experience at Tribu! My daughter, 8, was excited to get her earlobes pierced for the first time. She was nervous, but Eddie was fantastic at making her feel comfortable. Amazing experience! My daughter got her ears pierced and the whole experience was amazing. Everyone who worked there was helpful and knowledgeable. The piercing artist was extremely thorough and clean, and explained everything every step of the way. After we were finished, I asked the person who checked us in if there was anything else. She wanted to explain the aftercare process. I said the piercing artist already did that. Her response was would you mind if I spoke to you about it. I let her, because, clearly the people who work there want to make sure you have the best experience, even after you leave. Highly recommend!!

Excellent experience! Scheduling an appointment was a breeze. And I love their text reminders and appointment confirmation. Staff is knowledgeable and very helpful. I loved that Sergio walked me through every step despite the fact I already have a few piercings. He’s professional and friendly. He changed his gloves multiple times and he always held his hands in front of him so as to not contaminate anything / the instruments… something I learned in nursing school. My daughter had her ears and a cartilage piercing done here. They we’re fantastic! First off- super friendly. It was easy to get an appointment. They sent reminders via text. When we arrived it was very straightforward. Pricing was easy to understand with lots of differently priced options - NO pushy sales people up-selling!They were perfectly fine with our budget and showed us different options within our range and provided advice.As a parent I really liked this experience. The people were very professional and knowledgeable -and it was fun! The piercing was quick and they were thorough with the care instructions. My daughter said it was painless! No gun! All time favorite piercing place. I am an experienced tattoo and piercing goer and I would not recommend anywhere else for your piercings. Every single one of my piercings performed by the owner (I forgot his name, he is AWESOME!) has healed perfectly and never had an issue. He’s done my conch, industrial and tragus. He is very sterile with every single thing he does — very informative and helpful! I started going to him when he was just a kiosk at the Stamford mall and the business has come a very long way! My two friends and I recently got our ears pierced (conch, rook & cartlidge) and all three of us were extremely satisfied with the job done. Would never go anywhere else.

If could give 6 stars I would!! Sergio was super professional and being sterile and friendly were his number one concerns, which I appreciated very much. Even though I was nervous, he did his best to make me comfortable in the shop and I left feeling more confident than ever. I got my navel pierced with him, and my two sisters got piercings as well. It was all done within an hour! He’s super quick, clean, and just downright amazing. I’ll be coming back for sure!! 😁

I just got my nostril pierced because I already have one side done already, and I have my septum pierced, and I wanted to even my nose out! Sergio didn’t make me take out any of my jewelry, and my piercing came out perfectly. I’m very happy with Sergio, and Tribu. Word of advice, make an appointment! My first nose piercing had fallen out after a week, so this was my second. I chose to give Tribu a try, and I can genuinely say that it was the best experience Ive ever had. I enjoyed how gracious they were and how knowledgeable the piercer was. He walked me through everything step by step, which made me feel secure.

Went for a nose piercing with Sergio. He was very informative and walked me through the entire piercing process from beginning to end. He was very courteous and professional, super friendly and everything was super clean and sterile. The young lady who walked me through the material options (I chose silver titanium) and jewelry choices as well as after care. The experience was very positive and I like the outcome. It was my first nose piercing and I think it looks great.

Sergio was very quick with my naval piercing which I liked but looking at it afterwards it is noticeable that it is not centered. He did ask me what I thought of the line he drew but I was really nervous and trusted the professional to know what he was doing.

Best piercing spot I’ve ever been to. You get to chose from many different choices for both the piercing and backs. Everything ranges in prices from more affordable to a little bit more pricey but boy can I tell you it’s worth it. I’m personally the type that would rather be able to pick their jewelry at the time I get the piercing so I won’t have to change it or get to excited and attempt to change it early…Not to mention the service there is amazing, very nice girl working the register and handling the piercers appointments. Very much like her and the piercer is very friendly and does a great job explaining and showing the procedure. He lays down all the utensils and explains step by step what he’s going to use and for what and why. He also does a great job communicating during the process what is going on and does a great job explaining after care as well.I wish I could give this place more then 5 stars, I very much recommend this place

Sonia and Jessica were amazing!! They are located at the Stamford Mall location. They answered all of my questions. They were very professional and attentive which made me very comfortable. They took their time in showing me where exactly the piercing will be placed and explained why it’s important to choose the right size earrings. Love it too much and totally recommend them.

My niece and I both had piercings done today at Tribu and they were wonderful. Sergio was extremely knowledgeable about his craft and shared with us everything he was doing from beginning to end. We had the most wonderful experience with Sergio in Danbury. We brought our seven year old daughter who has been begging us to get her ears pierced. Ari and Tata (forgive misspelling of names) who I interacted with on two different occasion were lovely and helpful!Sergio was awesome, so professional, efficient and pleasant! Definitely will be going back. Highly recommend to go during the week if you can because weekends can be packed and hard to even get to counters to look at jewelry. Ive been pierced multiple times at multiple different tattoo shops, and Ive never had such a professional experience. Super clean, sterile environment, and the piercer, Sergio, was quick and informative. I had my daith pierced, which is a thick piece of cartilage that can be relatively painful, and it was nearly painless. Placement looks great and its healing very well! Would definitely go back.

I went here 1-2 months ago to get a hoop for my cartilage. They gave me the wrong size one, so I went back the next day to get the right size and asked if they could put it in for me. They said the only way they could put it in was to “re-pierce” my cartilage and stretch it, which I didn’t understand because I never had to do that with my first cartilage piercing. The guy who re-pierced it told me it should be healed in a few days, just to clean it with soap and water which I did. Well, it never healed, in fact now I have a keloid on the front and back and probably have to take my piercing out because of them because everyday it crusts over and hurts to turn it. would not recommend going here

I been to the Tribu in the Danbury Fair Mall 3 times now (cartilage, nose, and daith piercings) and can say: they are great. Super professional, sanitary and kind staff. I have yet to buy some but the jewelry selection is amazing too.

The piercer was fantastic. We drove 2hrs round trip because many places werent allowing two people in appointments because of covid. They had great availability. You might have to wait awhile for the appointment though because Sergio takes his time with every client. He gives off calming pediatrician vibes and I will be going back to him to get my belly button done some day. Excellent experience. Piercings can be stressful, he takes a lot of time to explain everything and show the sterilization process so you feel confident and safe. Would give 6 stars 🌟.

Would def recommend! My daughter got her ears pierced and she did so well. They go over what’s going to happen step by step and explain everything first. They did such a great job my daughter didn’t even flinch. Then they go over how to care for your ears. I would recommend making an appt but everything went great!

I would give 5 stars for the piercer himself as he was clean, friendly and professional . But the women they have working in the front were incredibly rude. They called from an unknown number of which I didn’t answer 10 minutes before my appointment. I got there in time for my appointment to be told they couldn’t help me because they “texted and called me” I never received a text. They wanted me to come back later which I couldn’t do. They ended up letting me keep my appointment but I was told to “do better next time”. Totally unprofessional.

The piercer ( a man) was 💯 thorough in taking every precaution to keep things sterile and safe, even going as far as treating it like a surgery with proper hand washing , using gloves, showing us how to know if instruments are sterile in their packaging , explaining everything to us, being completely professional and patient. I went today with my niece to repierce her ear that closed, and I also got my second holes pierced and my Tragus pierced. Sergio was absolutely fabulous with my niece. I had my nose pierced in early September. There was a little problem with it but it was fixed within a day of my noticing it and fixed properly and comfortably. I just had my ear lobes pierced today and it was the least painful ear lobes piercing I have ever had and the measurements and placing were professionally done and aesthetically I am pleased. I am quite happy with their ear lobes piercing as an earlier one at another service was not optimal. I highly recommend piercing of nose and ear lobes with Tribu in Danbury, CT. It may take a little while because they are busy, even with having an appointment, but it is because they dont rush and provide professional and hygienic services.

As a healthcare worker I was very impressed with the cleanliness and sterilization, and overall professionalism. Sergio was amazing and so friendly, and really helps to make you feel comfortable. They were overbooked today so we did end up waiting, however we were able to walk around the mall while we waited. I had my septum pierced by Sergio this weekend. He was truly the best piercer Ive ever been to and the price of their piercings are very fair.This piercing shop is very sanitary and professional. Sergio is so great. I went to him two years ago to get my tragus pierced and again today to get my daith pierced. Both times were great experiences. He went over everything that he was doing and was very knowledgeable, professional, and nice. I was so nervous that these piercings would be painful but both times I felt nothing but a little bit of pressure. My eyes didn’t even water it was so painless. I can’t recommend this place enough.

I went to get a belly button piercing (my first piercing other than my ear lobes). The shop was very clean and the piercer did an amazing job! I have a seizure disorder and I wasn’t expecting to have a seizure that day but I did shortly after getting pierced. Sergio did an amazing job piercing my 11 year old daughters ears. She was getting her third piercing and he noticed that one of her second ones was very uneven (was pierced elsewhere and with a gun which I would never recommend). He fixed her second and placed the third perfectly. He was kind and gentle. She actually didn’t even feel the first one and asked when he was going to pierce her ear! I highly recommend and would never go anywhere else. He also fixed my conch piercing that had closed. I’m very happy. Thank you!

I just got my nose pierced here and I can’t recommend them enough. Especially if you don’t know much about piercings, like I didn’t. They were so nice and friendly, and comforting. I have bad anxiety, but the man doing my piercing, I forgot his name but he has an accent and talks fairly fast, was so nice and actually told me riddles all the way up to actually piercing me. It really distracted me. Also, as he was doing each step of the process he was explaining *everything* to me. I feel like sometimes places feel like you already know the info about the piercing so they don’t really tell you much, but here they do! They want you to be completely informed about your piercing before getting it! :))) highly recommend!!!

Every experience I’ve had is great here. Sergio has done several of my piercings and the experience is comfortable and safe from start to finish. It’s sanitary, and he’s wonderful with keeping me calm the whole process.Especially for genital piercing, he’s very professional. I’d never been so nervous for a piercing but he made sure I wasn’t experiencing any discomfort and checked on me several times before and after performing the piercing. Im happy with my setup as it is but if I decide on any more, this is where I will go. I can’t recommend them enough.

Went there two years in a row, both piercings fell out within 24 hours no matter how much I tightened them and now I have one piercing that won’t come out and I need to go to another place to have it removed. This spot is all around great! They made my piercing experience so much better! I went in for my first septum piercing yesterday, and I was so nervous! Sergio walked me through every step from choosing the right ring, cleaning, and the process. During the piercing he was so sweet, and funny I forgot I was even there for a piercing and I didn’t feel a thing! They’re so professional and very precise with putting in the piercing straight!

Great place for piercings! The staff members are super friendly and respectful. The piercer is very knowledgeable and kind. They open all packages in front of you and dispose of used items also in front of you. Very clean. Definitely recommend!

Went in today as a spur of the moment thing to get a hoop for my nose and wound up with a new piercing too. They guys working were so nice, you could tell they enjoy their job. The atmosphere was great. The piercer explained everything and made me feel really comfortable. Would highly recommend coming here not just to have work done but for the large array of jewelry too.

Sergio is amazing!! He walks you through the whole process and explains everything so nicely. This has been the most sterile place I’ve ever been at. I highly recommend this place for anyone iffy about getting a piercing because they seriously do an amazing job! If you go, ask for Sergio because he’s amazing!

The staff and the piercer were both knowledgeable, friendly, and kind. I was so nervous before my piercing, and they were amazing. The shop is very clean and sterile without being unwelcoming. I would absolutely go back for another piercing!

**For reference, I have ear, septum and body piercings and have been to many shops and interacted with many piercers so Id like to think that I have a pretty good idea of everything**Ive been to Tribu a couple of times (for changing old jewelry out/ear lobe piercing) and today I got my helix pierced and daith jewelry changed. The owner, Sergio, did both of those for me. Sergio is very concerned with hygiene and sanitation, he explains it and exactly what he is doing every step of the way. I thoroughly appreciate this, and he is by far the cleanest piercer with the cleanest shop that I have ever been to. Sergio is also very knowledgeable about piercing and will answer all your questions. I highly recommend this shop, however you should book an appointment online ahead of time because they are insanely busy.
