I gave myself this gift for my 65th birthday. I’ve never gotten a tattoo before so I was a little nervous. Chris was the perfect person for me. He is super-talented, very clear in explaining what to expect, very professional and a joy to talk to while he was working. I LOVE my tattoo and I’m so appreciative to Chris for his work! I highly recommend him.

Been coming here for a few years now for a few piercings and now my first tattoo. The artists here are incredibly kind, understanding and informative. My tattoo was done by Erin and they made sure that we picked a size, placement and design that would look good in the long run. Sarae always makes piercings so much more comfortable and less nerve racking, we spent a good while making sure the piercings were even and in good placement. This is my go to shop, coming here I know I’m in good hands :)

I have been looking for a new tatto place since the one I use to go to the artists I used moved out of state. After looking into Luv Ink I felt good enough to give them a try. I worked with Chris over the phone and setup and appointment. When I walked in the place it had a great feel. I was greeted by Chris and immediately felt at ease. Not only was he knowledgeable but was extremely down to earth. He took me to the tattoo area and I was happy to see a very clean and well organized area. He took his time in ensuring I got what I wanted…. Size placement and design. Chris has a great attitude about it all making the process comfortable and smooth. Once he was setup and started I saw he has very clean lines. All together seemed like it flew by. Great conversation matched with skill made a great experience. The work came out perfect and with that being said I found where I would want to go from now on as well as my artist. It’s highly recommended that you see it for yourself.

The service is amazing by all employees, friendliness and great atmosphere. Clean and professional. My Tattoo Artist Chris Allen is one of the best artists in the tri-state area. Every tattoo I’ve gotten has blown me away! Never seen such clean straight lines and colors. I would definitely recommend this artist because you will have a masterpiece on your skin. He has great sense of humor to put you at ease even if it’s your first time.

Luv Ink has become my permanent place for all of my tattoos. I worked with Sarae on a full arm sleeve, and my experience with her was top notch, from her professionalism and timeliness in communicating with me beforehand, to the cleanliness and pleasant vibes in the studio itself. I came with my friend beforehand for her tattoo, and once I saw Sarae’s work on my friend’s design, I knew immediately that I had to book my appointment. We worked through a couple iterations of my idea, and Sarae was friendly, knowledgeable, and so incredibly sweet and patient from beginning to end. I especially appreciate not being aggressively upsold on bigger designs and additional products, and I can definitely see that she takes a great deal of pride and care in her appointments. If I could give her more than five stars I would have!!! I have to give kudos to the other staff who I spoke to as well, for they put me at great ease through the entire process and made be feel welcome and confident in my studio choice. I will 100% be coming back for my next tattoo, and the one after that. Thanks guys, you’re absolutely killing it!

I absolutely loved this place! The entire studio was incredibly clean and well maintained, and the artists were so fun to work with! I got my septum pierced here, it was too high and into my cartilage, the wrong gauge and the wrong type of jewelry for a new septum piercing. the girl who did it also did not clean it properly and when i asked if i could clean it myself she told me to hurry up cause she wanted to close. i then had to go somewhere else to get it taken out and redone.

I came in for a coordinate tattoo on my forearm. I planned a couple weeks in advance with Sity, and even before meeting her, just conversing with her over Instagram DMs, I knew she was going to be an amazing artist to work with. I wasnt wrong at all. This was a super meaningful tattoo to me and I felt that she took that very seriously and made sure it would come out exactly how I wanted. When I got to the shop she was super friendly and very welcoming. When it came to the stencil and the placement, she made sure I was happy with everything; the font, the sizing, the positioning, everything. She even took the time seeing my arm in different positions to make sure it looked good no matter how my arm hung. When it came to the actual tattooing, she not only completed it quickly, but she did a super clean job, all while explaining everything she was doing (I personally really like this, especially when the tattoo is in an area I cant really see). After the tattoo was done, she thoroughly went through aftercare steps to ensure I would take care of the tattoo correctly and answered/ addressed any questions/ concerns I had. This is my 6th tattoo but by far my favorite. This was my first time getting a tattoo from Sity but definitely not the last. Im super happy with how the tattoo came out and Im super thankful she did such a badass job on a tattoo that means so much to me. I 100% will be getting my future tattoos done by her. Thank you Sity! You absolutely killed it!

Just got my daith, double flat helix, and stacked lobe. Super thrilled with my whole experience from calling in yesterday to find out more info to getting pierced. Sarae was so sweet and knowledgeable. I’ve had my ears pierced all over the place through the years and I loved how Sarae worked. The jewelry available was also super cute and matched the aesthetic I already had going on. Would def recommend!!! Also- the place is really cool! Very clean and chill.

I have been coming to luv ink for a while and seen lots of artists come and go , today I had Neil do a Leo sign on my hand and he killed it , smooth line work and crisp af . Definitely recommend him for lettering and he’s got some dope realism abilities 100% I know for a fact … he’s eager to learn more and more everyday ! So had my tattoo that was left unfinished by another shop because the artist took off finished by sarae shes an amazing artist and actually freehanded the work after doing a digital rendering shes an amazing person her personality is out of this world and can basically do any work you come to her with her knowledge as vast for her age and is far beyond most older artist whove been doing it for longer please for your needs reaches out to the shop and speak with them they can accommodate any of your needs

DO NOT GET A PIERCING HERE!! I went to Luv ink about 2 weeks ago to get my ear pierced; I got a double helix and a conch piercing all in the same day. Sarae was the one who pierced my ear and she gave me options to choose from for my conch. All of the rings were the same size and they looked small so I asked if it would fit. She said yes and I trusted her because I thought she was a professional. Once she finished, I looked and the mirror and I notice how tight it was. She told me that my ear was just swollen and the swelling will go down in about a week. So, I waited and I noticed that my ear was turning purple and starting to crust. I was so concerned that I went to a different shop to get it looked at. I ended up having to get the piercing removed and 5 stitches in my ear.

I love this place, I’ve gotten 2 tattoos here and they left me disappointed. Definitely an amazing place to go. I just got my back tattoo done by artist Sarae and it’s beautiful and amazing.

I got an amazing tattoo from the rising star Neil, my whole experience was incredible. He was very friendly and made sure I had a good time, all the while staying professional. Months later the tattoo still looks amazing and I’m very pleased with the work. Keep up the great work Neil!

They quoted a price charged for a tattoo and charged 4 times as much without saying a word until time to pay Sarae who was listed as a tattoo apprentice at the time of booking the appointment. When I called the next day to question the ridiculous cost I was told that it was the size and Sarae said the tattoo was half her arm and had watercolor. It was my 19 year old niece’s first tattoo and when she said she paid $500 I was disgusted. Sarae was the person who did it. Last night at 10pm she was listed as an apprentice. As soon as that came out it has been changed online within a couple of minutes. After I called her out on the cost and lack of telling my niece the quoted price in writing ($150-$175) was going to be so much more she had an attitude. Please do not support this business. Sarae was extremely rude and took advantage of a teenager (oh she said she is 19 too) SO took advantage of peer who works 2 jobs and goes to college full time. SHAME ON YOU!They also said they can remove negative reviews when I told them I would post this true story. $500 for this!!??????

Sarae does an amazing job! She pierced my industrial and a few others on my lobe and every time I’ve gone she is so nice and explains everything very well. It’s super professional and always comes out looking great! I definitely recommend going here for any piercings!

Today I went into Luv Ink to get a blackbird silhouette tattoo. The song Blackbird by the Beatles is where my inspiration stemmed from, as well as a garden decoration I have in the back of my house. I had a great experience at Luv Ink while getting my nose pierced. I was able to be scheduled the same week that I requested an appointment. The shop was super clean, and they saw me right on time. Sarae is just a beautiful human being and a wonderful piercer. She walked me through each step in the process so I knew what was going on the whole time. She provided detailed after care directions and took the time to check which size ring would fit best after everything heals. I 100% recommend Sarae for any piercing.

Richie was AMAZING!! I was visiting home for the weekend and my cousin found this shop online so we made appointments to get tattoos to honor our late grandmother. I live about 5 hours away, but will most definitely come back to Richie for my next one. He is super nice, his energy is awesome and most importantly, his work is phenomenal!

I was very impressed with the service I received here on April 22, 2021. I was visiting from Boston and they was able to squeeze me in their schedule at last minute. The atmosphere there was so cool and comforting. The sign that they have that states love lives here drew me to the shop because Im all about love and peace. Peter did 2 tattoos on me the same day. Peter was friendly and his customer service was on point. I feel that all of the workers have great customer service. I would recommend this place and Im planning to go back there soon.

I had paid $350 as a deposit that was supposed to go towards my tattoo appointment with Sity. While Sity and I are still in contact she no longer works at the shop yet they refuse togive me a refund for my deposit even though they don’t have artists or apprentices that are able to do the very fine lined and detailed tattoo that I want. They literally stole my money. I’ve had tattoos done here before with Lacee before she left but this was seriously unprofessional as a business. Please don’t go here!!!

I had two tattoos done by Peter. This was my first time at the shop, what an experience! The environment was very clean, and the staff was exceptionally kind. But, my tattoo artist particularly made me feel very comfortable. I felt that I was at home. Neil, as an artist, you can tell he takes such pride in what he does. From what I can tell he studies the craft and it shows in his work. Very careful and meticulous and I like it. As a person, he is such a cool dude and incredibly kind. Personable as all hell. If you find him or Hector at luv ink, you’re in for such a treat :)

Just had an excellent experience with Richie Nigro at Luv Ink. We covered up an old tattoo, with a new, big, bold -old school Panthers head. It looks amazing! Richie is a very cool, energetic, easy to talk to guy. The staff was friendly as well. His work is excellent and I am very pleased. Would highly recommend. I got a tattoo with Lacee, and let me tell you, this woman is phenomenal. She is professional, down to earth, talented, and just so endearing. I came to her with an idea and just let her go with it, and when I tell you I’m in love with this piece I mean it. I highly recommend her, and this shop. The vibes were great, laughs were had and hands down the most pleasant experience I’ve ever had. If I could give them more stars, I totally would.

He is able to take your ideas and transforms them into the tattoo of your dreams. Not only is Peter a talented artist, he also is an awesome person. I love Luv Ink! I’ve gotten multiple piercings done here and every time they’ve come out wonderful. All equipment used is always sterilized and clean and the staff is super caring of their clients needs. 10/10 definitely recommend!

I had two tattoo done by the kind folks at Luv Ink and each time has been a welcome and wonderful experience. This place is clean, the artists are friendly and talented, and the atmosphere is amazing! This time around I had Richie as my artist. He designed a spectacular shoulder/upper arm piece for my DnD campaign. I’m truly satisfied with my experience and will be going back to turn this shoulder piece into potentially a full sleeve.

Got my septum done here and they did it wrong with the wrong kind of jewelry and wrong gauge. it also was very painful recovery i had to get it taken out and redone else where. when she pierced my nose i passed out after and she didn’t care or do anything she just stood there. she also was rushing me out and wouldn’t let me clean the blood off of my nose.

Sarae pierced my kiddo! They were professional and made her us all feel welcome and at home. Organized, very clean, and great instructions.

Hector is one of the best up-and-coming artists in CT. Not only is he a consummate professional, but his aesthetic, mindfulness, and creativity set him far above others in his field. His touch is phenomenal and attention to sanitation is aces. I cannot wait to schedule my next sitting!

I got a tat done at luvink and went to Lacee. She was amazing, my tattoo came out exactly how I imagined and she put it in the perfect place. She was also super kind and easy to talk to throughout the entire thing. I highly recommend her and will be scheduling another visit.

The economy is changing with inflation and money supply, but I felt $300 was a bit much after we had to size down my tattoo and remove three elements which were to accent the piece. I also dont feel 100% confident my tattoo is forward facing. It is, however, an amazing tattoo and the vibe in the shop was relaxed and chill.

These guys are awesome! I went in the other day with a seriously stuck septum ring(they didn’t do the original piercing). They were so nice and the piercer named D, took a solid 20 minutes of his time to help me get it out. He even replaced it with a new and better quality ring, told me why and how it probably got stuck, and showed me how to flip the new ring. I would definitely recommend them to my friends and will probably go there for future piercings. Thank you so much!

First I would love to give a shout out to Dan Valentine who is a fantastic tattoo artist. I originally had posted a 5-star review that I had to revise due to an extremely negative experience with the owner, Rich Nigro. Rich reacted passive-aggressively when asked if it was possible to soften the edges of my tattoo. This is visible in the random application of what could be lovely watercolor effect if executed with any sort of care.Rich first displayed his temperamental nature when I tried to cancel an appointment that was more than 24 hours away. He made disparaging remarks about the person who I was scheduling for. In an attempt to appease Rich and maintain a good relationship with the shop I agreed to have Rich color the tattoo that Dan had designed. My friend opted to get a less expensive tattoo than he originally planned rather than cancel. For a neck tattoo and a coloring job Rich charged $300 each. The tattoo originally cost me less than that.When I reached out via email after some time had passed to express my displeasure I was again greeted with a decidedly unluving response from Rich. He concluded with the snide remark that I could contact the owner if I had any other complaints and then stopped responding. What an awful business ethic.

I’ve had Richie do some work for me a few months ago and came back for more. His artwork is amazing and he takes the time needed for perfection. When I met with him I gave him an idea of what I wanted, he took that idea, showed me that idea, and once he put on me it came to life, it was exactly what I was looking for. A 3D version of a butterfly on my hand with my daughters name. The colors pop out and so does the picture. I can’t be any happier and that’s why I’m meeting with him again. Additionally, his shop is extremely clean as any shop should be. Once you meet with Richie, he works on you, you’ll stick with Richie

Took my son to get his first tattoo. We didnt have an appointment, we walked right in ...told them what he wanted... and I must say we where VERY SATISFIED!Mike did the tattoo... he was AWESOME! Called for a septum and nose piercing. Was scheduled same day with Sarae who was AMAZING. They have so many options for jewelry and they guide you through what is good starter jewelry and which is best for after it’s healed. Sarae walked me through everything. When they marked it, pierced it and when the jewelry was being put through. Definitely eased some the pain (and nerves lol). My only other facial piercing is my right nostril which I impulsively got done in a smoke shop (don’t recommend) so I didn’t have any expectations but Sarae went above and beyond. I felt super comfortable and relaxed the entire time! 10/10 :)

Recently received a redo of a tattoo that was 13 years old. Sity was the artist that brought this magnificent piece back to life for me. Young in age but incredibly talented artist whom knows exactly what I needed before I knew. What Michael Deangelo was to the renaissance Sity is to modern tattoo artist. She is truly a genius in stature and performance. If your looking to update a tattoo or have something revolutionary created Sity is the modern day Micheal Deangelo. Highly recommended.

Arrived at this location and waited about 10 mins to even see a human, there was only a tv with cartoons playing and no people. Was told a few mins...generally seemed uninterested in doing a several hundred dollar tattoo. Called later to try to make appt and was told by the girl answering the phone she couldnt make an appt. Called back, left voicemails...days later and nothing. I guess this business doesnt need my money, will go elsewhere!

Lacee was extremely kind, professional and did great work. She explained the entire process both before and as she was working to comfort both my grandmother and I. Definitely will be going back to her !

This was not my first time I just had to learn the hard way . Dont be me be smart and go else where.

TERRIBLE BEWARE!!! I called to book an appointment and was told that I had to leave a $100 deposit in order to book. Called back same day to cancel and was told that deposit was non-refundable. Reached out to the owner who told me that she would get back to me which she never did. Called and left message many times but never received a return call.
