I had a wonderful experience here.i originally sent in a text stating that i would be coming in from out of state and the artists i would like to work with. i received a reply stating that bobby was available and i did a facetime consultation with him since i wasnt in the state. i scheduled my appointment but the day before had to change the time due to a fault of my own. they were very accommodating.bobby was wonderful to work with and absolutely nailed the theme/idea that i was going for. he gave clear instructions on aftercare (highly recommend after inked) and stated to call if given an issues. i will absolutely be returning on my next trip to CT.

I cant say enough about this place. Clean, well lit, VERY welcoming. Everyone is so professional.Nobody makes you feel intimidated when you walk in.I had an idea and design I wanted.Amber booked me with Aaron. I couldnt be happier with the result. Aaron and Danbury Tattoo will be my go-to shop for all my tattoos moving forward. I highly recommend them for tattoos and piercings.

I love Danbury Tattoo and Piercing. I had a wonderful experience there.It was my first tattoo and I was nervous and clueless. Amber was very warm and she listened my idea and gave me very practical suggestions. Owner Mikey Vee was friendly and funny. The tattoo he did was precisely what I wanted. He also gave me very detailed aftercare instructions.The salon is clean. Music is smoothing. Everyone there is nice.I will never go to any other place for tattoos or piercings. Thank you all.

Everything about Danbury Tattoo is inviting and fun including the studio space, the artists, and the overall vibe. I have been seeing Lacee for months and she has tattooed me 7+ times including my first tattoo. She has always been so kind, caring, and professional throughout every appointment. I’m so grateful to have an artist like her as she is so creative, talented, fun to talk to, and overall just a really good person! She has truly helped me reclaim my confidence and influenced me to love my body. I also received a nostril piercing from Bobby which was such an easy and fun experience! As a needle phobic, I have been able to cope with my fears and anxieties thanks to the amazing staff at Danbury Tattoo & Piercing!

Recently had gotten my septum pierced here, ended up not liking the jewelry used as it was just to small and didn’t look right so I went to another location to have it check/changed out and ended up finding out my septum was pierced through cartilage and not the “sweet spot”( which by the way is the correct placement for it.) So I had to not only repay for the piercing to be done correctly but now restart the healing process. Was very disappointing honestly.

My immediate impression is regarding how much bigger the location was than expected. It had a clean and sanitary feeling (big comfort). The waiting area is large with artists rooms around the perimeter.My friend and I went initially to discuss what we wanted, schedule appointments, and get a sense of the location. The receptionist greeted us, everything went smoothly.I, primarily, was going to support my friend. In doing so, I scheduled a tattoo session for something small at my ankle. Pablo was very attentive to what we wanted with changes to what would be our stencils. My friends change (mom and kitten) added more detail to kitten. Mine (cat touching heart) had more detail and was a combination of pictures. Pablo was patient putting together what I envisioned. Bottom line, thank you Pablo, we were both very happy with the work. Pablos patience and understanding helped calm my nervousness, knowing near the ankle bone would be super sensitive. 😬Overall an excellent experience.It is 4 days later. They are healing nicely.

Danbury Tattoo and Piercing is an incredible place; I have gone to Lacee for 3 of my tattoos now and she is absolutely amazing. She does a great job of making sure the tattoo is perfect for me, and she’s always so kind and fun and welcoming. She’s extremely detail oriented and professional and she is great about offering an opinion of any part of the process I have questions about, and she does an incredible job of making sure i’m comfortable and happy with each tattoo. The whole place has a great atmosphere and vibe to it, and it’s always an awesome place to be at!

This shop goes over and beyond to make sure their customers are happy. I have honestly never experienced better customer service from an owner of a business before. ET is a very talented artist and helped me achieve everything I wanted in my idea. He made sure I was comfortable through the entire tattoo, he was patient, and thorough with the overall design. Good businesses in this field are hard to find these days, I’ll be back for another tattoo for sure.

I had an outstanding experience at Danbury Tattoo getting a small inner wrist tattoo with Lacee. She made sure I was comfortable, didn’t rush positioning the stencil, and walked me through the healing process to make sure I had the best result with the finished product. I took my 16 yr old son to Danbury Tattoo for his 1st tattoo. I had NEVER been there and took a chance after reading other reviews and I’m extremely glad I did! Elektra welcomed us and was so nice and very professional. E.T. Did both my son’s tattoo and my tattoo of my father’s cross he wore everyday of his life. E.T. did such an awesome job! He took the knowledge of what this cross meant to me and took his time to make these tattoos special. My son and I are so happy!We will be back (even it being 1 1/2 hrs away!)and will be telling our friends. Love your work E.T.!

I came here for the first time for a butterfly tattoo. The girl at the front was super accommodating as was the tattoo artist, ET. He broke down the entire process for me and made me feel extremely comfortable. The parlor itself was an appealing space and very clean. Eric did an excellent job with the tattoo, it is exactly what I wanted. The line work is perfect. I would absolutely come back again! Thank you ET and the Danbury Tattoo team!

My daughter had a problem with her nose ring, and after calling about half a dozen places in Danbury these guys were the only ones who helped us. Her nose ring fell out and the piercing had started to close. It took two seconds for the piercer(?) to fix it and put her jewelry back in. They did not charge me and would not accept payment. I almost don’t know what to say. This shop is super clean, well lit, and the staff were very friendly, helpful, and professional. 5 stars all day long

Got several lobe and helix piercings and a conch piercing done by ET. He was very professional and skilled and explained everything. The shop was clean and friendly, jewelry was high quality, all tools sterile, and prices reasonable. In every way a terrific experience and will definitely be coming back.

Got my nose and belly button pierced here, the piercer Bobby was great. He helped me calm down and was nothing but nice the whole time. Amber at the front was a great help in providing assistance with what jewelry to get. Aaron was very nice when I needed to get a new ring for my belly button piercing. Overall a great place with really nice people!!

Had my second tattoo done here this past Friday. Both pieces were done by the owner Eric Tymula. He is an amazing artist who is incredibly talented. The piece took a lot less time to complete than I had anticipated. The shop is great, the staff is kind and engaging, various other artists came over to say hi or they liked the piece I was having done. There is a reason I went back to Danbury Tattoo and Eric for my second tattoo, and it will be the same reason I go back to them for tattoo #3 when ever that may come to pass.

I had the loveliest experience at this shop. Walked in without an appointment on a rainy day, and explained I needed help removing a piercing (which I received at a different shop).Without missing a beat, Amber hopped up and took me into her piercing room and got to work helping me out. It was a tricky situation, but she was so patient, gentle, and kept trying until it was out. When I tried to pay, she shooed me away and said it was her job to help. SO KIND! Thanks, Amber!!! Took my daughter for her first tatoo shout out to Lacee who did an incredible job! The tattoo was exactly what my daughter was looking for and Lacee was professional from start to finish. The staff from the moment you walk in the door was attentive and acknowledged you right away would definitely recommend and my daughter will be coming back!

The team was very pleasant to work with. Took my daughter for her nose piercing and Bobby was amazing. She got a bit woozy and he handled like he had been doing this for years and years. He made her feel very at ease and her piercing is healing well. Thanks for being so great!!

I am beyond pleased with the work at Danbury Tattoo. Today was my 3rd tattoo I have received there throughout the years; I have also gotten my nose pierced by them as well years ago. Today I was lucky enough to have seen via IG that Lacee had an opening. I called and right away I had booked an appointment with her. Not only is Lacee talented beyond words, but she is also kind, sweet, professional, organized, and pays such close attention to sanitation. She is detail oriented and takes pride in her art. She had created a relaxing environment and made me feel at such ease. I have rebooked for a second tattoo with her to early next year and I can not wait.

My friend and I went in for nose piercings and everyone was very kind. Bobby did our piercings and he was beyond wonderful. He was extremely kind and informative. I had a great experience going to Danbury Tattoo. Jen is an amazing artist! She was informative, took her time and made sure I was completely happy with my tattoo. Her watercolor and free hand art is hands down the best part of my new ink. Already have my next 2 sessions booked with her! The shop was clean and nicely decorated. I got my belly button pierced here and had a great experience! The man who did the piercing (I think his name was Bobby) took his time to get the right placement and the woman who checked me in was also very nice. The space was very clean and professional.

Yesterday was my first ever time going to Danbury Tattoo, and I have to say I was one hundred percent satisfied with not just how my tattoo came out but with the service that Lacee provided. Lacee’s meticulousness, creativity and passion shines through and she made my second tattoo come to life. My tattoo came out better than what I could have ever imagined and on top of that she was friendly and attentive and even got me a coke a cola! I wish I had started my piercing journeys here. Unfortunately I began at mall piercing. Because piercings dont always go smoothly, i.e. stay in on their own, need a correction and one unpleasantly needs surgery or another medical procedure requiring all body piercing removal, before piercing removal should be done, it is best to go here. One receives the time, attention and options to deal with whatever is going on. I also brought my teen daughter here and she is very happy with her nose piercing and preferred it to her earlier mall experience. Each to their own, but for me, knowing I can manage unexpected piercing issues or life events affecting piercing, more easily at Danbury Piercing, I will stay here. Thank you.

I was referred to Danbury Tattoo by a friend. And I was super impressed by their customer service. They were quick to get back to me and even tho I wanted a small tattoo Eric was very accommodating. He did an excellent job and has a very genuine and understanding approach to even the smallest tattoo. Hes a really talented artist and Id recommend anybody to him.

Ive been going here for my tattoos and piercings now for about 2 years, always had a nice experience. I went in last week to get some hardware switched out (too scared to do it on my own!).Bobby was AMAZING! Danbury Tattoo is the best! I have and multiple tattoos from the artists there and every one has come out awesome. The artists are friendly, knowledgeable, and talented. They want your tattoo to look great because they take pride in their work. The shop is clean, welcoming, and smoke free. Every time Ive had work done the tattoo stations were clean and everything was opened in front of me to show it was new. This has become the only shop I go to and I highly recommend it.

Ive gotten many piercings and tattoos from here and they are always sterile and new needles. They never got infected and theyre clean. Its quick and easy. Staff is very welcoming and very helpful. Ive gone to many shops, but this one is immaculate.

I got my first really visible tattoo done on my hand by Will, and its been a year since Ive got it done and it still looks amazing! I went in without a appointment, and they took me right away. I recommend my friends to go all the time and their pieces look amazing as well. Wouldnt even bother going anywhere else. Had an awesome experience getting a conch piercing done here. I was in and out in 20 minutes and everyone was very friendly and professional. All the tools were sterilized and my piercer was very helpful in instructing me how to care for it. All in all, a great experience! Would definitely go back.

I had a very pleasant experience here today! I just moved into the area and me and my mom were looking for a place for me to start adding piercings to my ear. When we got in here, my mom loved the home-y aspect and I loved how everything was explained throughout the process. I got my second lobes pierced on both sides and my piercer (I dont know what her name is, but her hair was blue on the bottom and she was really nice!) showed me the jewelry and the needles in sterilized packaging and showed me her throwing away the needles after they were done. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes, and I will definitely be coming back to continue my ear project and probably tattoos once Im older. Thank you guys!

I have had 2 tattoo experiences with Danbury Tattoo and both were great I had a tattoo done with MikeyVee in there location that was located on Germantown road and I had a cover up tattoo done by E.T. in there Mill Plain location both places were not only clean and welcoming but both artist did an amazing job and were EXTREMELY detailed and thorough. They took there time and explained the entire process to me and made sure I had the proper at home supplies for caring for my new tattoo. The entire staff was extremely friendly and welcoming in both locations. The shops were not only clean but they also opened every needle and razor being used on me in front of me and made sure my skin was thoroughly clean before and after the process.they made sure every time I had proper I.D. on me and to me this is important and shows a lot about how they run there shops. I highly recommend Danbury Tattoo to everyone I know that wants a tattoo or piercing . I can not say enough about this place and honestly have had nothing but GREAT experiences here. Clean, professional,thorough and they also made me feel comfortable. They know there stuff GREAT PLACE !!!! Happy with both of my tattoos and how they healed wouldnt go anywhere else .

Update: Great costumer service! When I had an issue they contacted me and tried to make everything right. They spoke to me kindly and were very understanding. Over the last year I have gotten 3 very large tattoos (40+hours) done at Danbury Tattoo. I have always walked out of the shop blown away at the quality of work done by Eric. His ability to take whats in my head, draw it out and then tattoo it is grade A stuff.I was also very impressed with his attention to small details and his suggested improvements to help my tattoos look there best. With me specifically, he suggested slight tweaks to the tattoos orientation and placement on my arm and back which I am very happy with. He was also very good at helping me pick out secondary colors that helped make everything pop.Additionally, the shop has always provided me with top notch customer service during the entire tattoo process; from conceptional design through healing, and I would highly recommend them to anyone interested in getting some work done.

I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Ive had numerous piercings by Eric/ Jen and a tattoo by Eric as well. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They help you to feel comfortable as does the clean and sterile space & materials. Well run business and super talented people!

I was looking for a local piercing shop to buy new lip studs from. I read the amazing reviews for Danbury Tattoo & Piercing, and thought theyd be a great place to buy from. I have a severe nickel allergy, so my needs are a tiny bit unusual and I need a good shop to buy from.I went in, and asked to view their 16g labret studs. I specified that I had a nickel allergy, and it needed to be nickel free. The employee proceeded to tell me that all of their rings and studs were surgical stainless steel and that they were all totally nickel free. I am incredibly disappointed in this blatant lack of knowledge [and either accidental or intentional lie] in what I assumed was a great shop. Literally ALL stainless steel of any kind contains nickel- up to a pretty high percentage. Its important for a shop to know what materials theyre putting into their clients bodies.If I had been less knowledgeable, I would have ended up paying for items that would have made me sick. I expect good knowledge and accurate information, and apparently Danbury Tattoo & Piercing doesnt provide that. Im super disappointed.Also: In another review I saw that someone apparently gave a bad review after mistakenly going to a different shop, and I want to explicitly say that I went to the right place, as I was careful about it.

Went on a Saturday to get a cartilage piercing and the owner was the one there. He was rude, obnoxious and unhelpful. I have done multiple tattoos and piercings there with other people that were always nice but this guy completely turned me off. His horrible attitude made me, a longtime client, not want to go back ever again and honestly I will not recommend to friends anymore. He should really learn about customer service.

Spent a long time doing research before I got my first tattoo and picked this place; they were brilliant. Eric Tymula, the owner, talked me through the whole thing and answered all my rookie questions with a lot of patience, and did amazing work. Couldn’t be happier with the experience and the results. I will definitely be going back.

The piercing itself was fine but my friend and I were told we’d have to wait 20 minutes but we ended up waiting for over an hour. The shop was nearly empty and the dude at the front said that there were two different piercers, so I’m not sure why the other piercer couldn’t have done it. We were very late to a friend’s dinner party :( almost turned into the skeleton who was sitting on the couch...

I won a tattoo cover-up from i95 WRKI and Danbury Tattoo. I can not recommend Danbury Tattoo enough. My tattoo was done by ET, and he is a true artist. This is the first time Ive ever had a tattoo artist who hand sketched my tattoo design and didnt use stencils. Every tattoo has the capability of being art, but my tattoo is ART.Everyone at the shop was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I absolutely love my tattoo, it came out even better than I could have imagined from the drawing I brought in.If you need a cover-up or you are just looking for a new tattoo, definitely check out Danbury Tattoo on Mill Plain rd. in Danbury CT. You will not regret it.

I got my lip pierced in two spots yesterday and they are a great shop, everything is sterilized and its worth the money to get a piercing here. I lost the ball and I went back to the shop and they gave me two extra balls for my piercing for free. They are truly a great shop.

My first tattoo and to honor the passing of my dad Aug. 6th. Eric couldnt have been more patient, kind and helpful and did a beautiful job. I would highly recommend him.

After researching shops to get pierced at, Danbury Tattoo came up and i saw that it had 5 stars so I read the reviews and I called them. They said the price was 40 dollars for jewelry plus piercing so I picked my two best friends up and we went. Immediately upon walking in, we were very unsure. The jewelry was in an open basket and all thrown in together. The man said my friend could pick up the jewelry which was red flag number two. We asked the price of jewelry and he said 15 bucks, even Claires is more expensive. Red flag 3. But we went along with it anyway. We went to the back room and my one of my friends got the bottom of her belly button done and while he was piercing, he dropped the needle and then pierced her, which was red flag 4. And she had to put the jewelry in herself - what kind of shop lets a customer touch the jewelry and then put it in their own body? Honestly she may as well have pierced it herself; I guess essentially she did. Red flag 5. My other friend got the top of her belly button with no problems, thank god. So then I hopped up and let him clean and mark my ear. I was getting my second lobe piercing and I already had my nose done which didnt hurt hardly at all so I thought itd be a breeze. Nope. By far the worst piercing Ive ever endured. It was a bloody and painful mess and it took him so long to pierce it. And after he was done he told us to clean it with rubbing alcohol and hand soap. Red flag 6. And a few weeks later one of the people I went with, who has a bunch of piercings and knows how to take care of them, told me her belly button got really infected from the jewelry. And then my ear started bleeding again and was painful and I got a keloid even after it was healed. I dont know if I will be returning, 2/3 of us got infections. Not a good statistic. Id rather drive 2 and a half hours to Black Diamond Piercing where they run like a doctors office and everything is sterile. I would not reccomend this establishment to anybody.

I got my belly piercing here a little while ago and they had great service and a clean and welcoming environment. They used very good quality jewelry and it’s perfect. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to get a piercing.

I feel like I have to be a white person to get a tattoo here: I’ve message some of the artists on Instagram and either they do get back to me yet never follow through. Plus I don’t see much people of color tattooed here as well and I’ve been here before years back yet this is kinda discouraging

Had a great experience with my piercer as well as all the other employees, however my septum was pierced wrong. it was pierced through my cartilage, not the sweet spot so i will have to get it repierced properly.

Got my first tattoo done here, and have gotten three since! The artists are all top notch and I couldnt have asked for a better experience! I have an appointment next week scheduled for #5 with Mikey Vee and cant wait!

I love this place the girl that answered the phone what a sweetheart so nice loved that great phone skills and the folks that worked there nice and they speak I felt like I was walking into my own home so inviting compared to other places I would no longer waste my time going any where else. This will be my tattoo place. Ive tried many dont know what took me so long

Tattoos are forever there is no better pace to get a tattoo than Danbury tattoo. I have had worke done by jazmen, and Erick, and have been priced by everyone in that shop. Prices are the best around and ther worke is timmless. If you have any second thoughts leave them at the dore. Walk in to a supper chill clean shop and have some killer work done that you will love forever.

Customer service is great but they will rip you off here! i got both of my ears pierced and it cost be $90?! absolutely ridiculous. insane upcharge on the tiniest of tattoos as well.

Walked in on a Friday with my fiance to see about a piercing for and ended up walking out with her getting 2 piercings and a tattoo for myself. Jen did an amazing job on it. Will be returning for more.

Quick and (almost) painless septum piercing done. Everything was sterile and the piercer walked me through the entire process. Would recommend!

I just got an industrial piercing the other day. They told me to use dial gold liquid soap 3 times a day and use neosporin whenever I go to bed. First off any antibacterial soaps do harm the piercings. It will dry it out as well as the neosporin. The neosporin will cause soreness, tenderness and maybe swelling. So, I’d suggest to to follow their suggestion on what to use for ear care.

I don’t know what changed. The ink doesn’t seem to be the same and didn’t sit well with my skin. The colors aren’t popping / standing out as much as my past tattoos from them. I will not be returning back. Even after a touch up I’m still unsatisfied.

Amazing place, great, professional, and kind staff, it was recommended to me by a friend and i went there today for a nostril piercing- which looks greatthey took the time to show me everything was sterile, i got to select which nose ring i wanted, and they explained how to clean it, 10/10 experience
