Everyone was super helpful when i went in to get my daughters ears pierced. Brennan did a great job at explaining everything to her throughout the process. Piercing with the needle I stead of the gun used at other places was much less traumatic. Will definitely be back when my other daughters want their ears pierced.

Went in today to get my spouses nose pierced and decided to get my septum pierced, spur the moment. My spouse ate breakfast ect and her nose piercing was done super smooth, quick, and looks great. My septum piercing came out awesome. The only complication was my own stupidity, coffee, and that was it for the day, so I wound up almost passing out. As soon as I said I was light headed the piercer and staff were on it helping me with water and a glucose tablet, once I was back to feeling alright they finished up and everything came out great! I felt bad for taking up extra time, but everyone was cool and kind about it. 10/10 I recommend.

Body jewel in the Fairfield mall was amazing! The piercer did a great job with my daughter getting her ears peirced, I got my daith done at the same time. Everyone was very professional and even though there was a wait, they got everyone in and out in a timely manner! I wish I wouldve gotten his name, but I was focused on the piercing lol he was awesome gave step by step what he was doing the whole time and took very good care!!! Would recommend to go there and get pierced!

Ali (I believe her name was) was very friendly and helpful while I was getting my tongue pierced. We sat and chattered for a minute before the piercing and it really helped calm my nerves. Been here two other times for my navel and nostril piercing, 10/10 every time. These people know their stuff.

I have had both of my daughters’ ears pierced here with fantastic experiences both times. The piercers are knowledgeable, kind, and so so patient. Glad we came and if other piercing needs pop up we will be back.

Absolutely amazing people! Helped with my fear of a massive nose bleed when piercing your nose. I had absolutely no problems with my piercing! I highly recommend! Great place, great people!

Staff were a little bit rude, really just went in there to get new jewelry but the receptionist left a sour taste in my mouth with her tone towards how I take care of my piercings as directed by tattoo shop piercers not mall workers. Got what I needed though so thanks I guess lol

I had a great experience here. When you walk in, the staff member at the counter will ask what you’re looking to get pierced and make jewelry recommendations. There are so many options!! You pay, and then sit and wait for your name to be called. My piercer was so kind, and talked to me which I appreciated as I don’t particularly like needles - but I love my little piercings!! She helped me pick which piercings I wanted, as I had gone in with a few ideas. So happy with my experience! Very fair pricing, too!! (I got my stacked lobe done on both sides)

Had several piercings done between myself, my sister and my niece. Somaya was an incredible piercer and professional! She was so knowledgeable, quick, and precise. My sister literally passed out from the pain and Somaya was so cool and calm under pressure she turned a terrifying experience into a fun/funny story.10/10 definitely recommend Body Jewel and the Fairfield (ABSOLUTELY NOT the Dayton mall) and specifically Somaya at the Fairfield mall for a superior experience!

Pierced my daith with the wrong jewelry and when I called about problems she told me with out even looking at my ear that its just part of the healing process and to deal with it. Now my daith jewelry needs changed and another shop wont touch it because they didnt do it. And I refuse to buy jewelry from body jewel after the one I have in from there is why my daith hasnt healed

Time, skill and tact! They re-pierced a nipple piercing which I already had and even though I heard it hurt more they managed to make it so it barely hurt! 10/10 experience

There was a line to get into the store. Since its a small space they only allow few people to cone inside. They have a variety of body jewelry to choose from. I wanted a new Daith ring for my ear. The associate who helped me was fantastic! She was friendly, patient with me and gave me plenty of time to choose my jewelry. I wanted purple ball on my ring and she made one for me. I love it. Cant wait to wear it. There prices are very reasonable.

Staff is always patient and understanding. My honest wants his ears pierced, weve gone twice to do that, and after about ten minutes in the chair going back and forth, he changes his mind because hes nervous/ scared. They never even seem slightly impatient or irritated. Our oldest and I also panic with piercings, and they are calming and reassuring. They throughly explain what to expect and after care.

Got my septum both pierced and reopened here, as well as got my philtrum piercing yesterday. The service was great- the staff was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable and the piercer was great and did everything possible to make me feel comfortable. Looking forward to coming back here for many more piercings in the future

I’ve gotten my second lobe piercings here and i just got an eyebrow piercing today and they both have turned out great!! the service was also amazing. idk what these other reviews are talking about but every staff member treated me with respect and the piercer was wonderful.

The place has good atmosphere, it is clean. For lobes and flat piercing, the jewelry choice was slim, but I was able to find what I liked. It is pricey for sure, but I think it is worth it for a good quality. I got my second lobes in both ears and flat on my right ear.

Ive been pierced here twice, and had a great experience both times. Most recently, I was insecure about a piercing I got somewhere else, and the shop staff were so kind in helping me figure out what I wanted and how to move forward. I left the shop feeling so confident and LOVING my new piercing and jewelry. My piercer was also really patient with my rowdy family, and talked me through each step :) My only suggestion is to make sure you ask for titanium jewelry if you have sensitive skin.

Got my septum done today. They are very professional, knowledgeable and make you feel comfortable. Definitely recommend them for any piercing need.

My husband and I came in to get our septum piercings done together. Our piercer was absolutely amazing! I didnt catch her name but I believe she had red curly hair and was very nice. I have a deviated septum and she made sure that the piercing looked even and straight on my nose. It looks amazing and Im so happy with it!! The environment was clean and I felt very comfortable there. Ive gotten other piercings done there and I will continue to do so in the future. Thank you guys again for an amazing experience :)

I came in on Sunday 2/18/24 around 4pm hoping to get my tongue pierced. There was a lot of people waiting, so I figured they’d probably say they were done for the day. I spoke to one lady there and she said they couldn’t take anymore piercings because it was at a two hour wait. She said I could come in the next day (Monday) they close at eight, as long as I was in 45 minutes before they closed. Well, I went in the next day 2/19/24 around 4 pm and spoke to the SAME lady about getting my tongue pierced and she told me the piercer couldn’t do it because, “she gets sick doing them.” Overall I was very unhappy because she misled me by telling me to come in the next day and I live 45 minutes away. That’s almost two hours each day, depending on traffic. I wasted a lot of gas too.

Absolutely love this place! I initially got my nostril pierced here; the healing process was great. Now just yesterday; I went in to get my industrial. Had a great experience as well. Cannot recommend this place enough. Amazing staff, quick service, and everything is sterile. 10/10

I went to Body Jewel to get my lobes pierced for the first time. I walked in, signed my paperwork, and within 30 minutes Devon had my lobes done and I was on my way. Super great customer service so I felt very comfortable. I will be returning!

Ive gotten my tragus and daith done here! The staff was very kind and happily answered all of my questions, and explained the after care very well. They have a wide variety of jewelry options. The piercing experience was very pleasant and quick! 10/10 would recommend! No appointment was needed

I always go here for my piercing jewelry. Their facility is clean, organized, and well stocked and well staffed, and the staff is always super friendly and helpful.The 4 star rating is because when I picked up some new jewelry recently, I didnt have my original piece to match the size. I asked the clerk if I could exchange them for the correct size if I took them home, and found they didnt fit. They emphatically said yes, any time. I understand now that we had a miscommunication, and all sales are final at Body Jewel. This is not the clerks fault, they absolutely were so pleasant and helpful during our sale!!They can resize the piece you bought, but the rings I bought didnt have enough length on the hoop to comfortably fit, regardless of resizing.Be a smart shopper and know EXACTLY what you need before you go in, Cus this big dumb dumb spent $25 bucks on jewelry that will never be worn.

Had a wonderful experience here! Took our daughter to get her ears pierced again after a failed attempt with a non professional a few years ago. The piercer was so friendly and knowledgeable.

Took my daughter there today to get her first piercing, ear lobes, and the entire experience was wonderful. The piercer was very friendly and he kept talking to her throughout the entire process to keep her calm. While there I decided to have my nose pierced and a rook piercing, he did a great job and answered all my questions. Overall, wonderful experience.

I took my son (8yrs) there today and we had a fantastic experience! When you walk in, the team was kind, helpful and efficient. We paid $45 for both lobes. That’s the basic price, but you can upgrade from the basic titanium which we did. It was a 45 minute wait at 6pm on a Monday which was well worth it. They text us when it was time and they took us to a clean, sterile, welcoming room with a large, comfortable chair. My son was nervous, but his piercer was professional, sweet and chatted him up to make him comfortable. He had 12 years of experience and was very professional, he talked him through the entire process and was super quick when inserting the needle. It was the type of experience you’d expect at a tattoo shop, sterile, good quality tools, trained and experienced staff. I definitely recommend, even for something as simple as ear lobes!

When I came in I was agreeded. I wasnt sure where I was supposed to be standing so I stood where all the other people were and then it turned out people are coming in and cut it in front of me because I didnt know where I was supposed to be standing to begin with. Lol other than that it was really nice. The ladies were nice when she start talking to them lol It was a bit of a way but when I came in a lot of people were coming in at the same time lol The piercings went quick

This is the place for all your piercing needs. The staff is very knowledgeable and answered all our questions we had about the piercing that was done. Wendy took very good care of us and made sure that she explained the processes step by step from beginning to end.

Will never go anywhere else again for piercings. The staff was extremely friendly and patient with my daughter. The young woman who did her piercing was calming and very professional. She did an excellent job, my daughter didnt even realize she was done. Thank you for being so awesome!

The Staff is helpful and store is clean. The wait times are not horrible when there is a line. However, the jewelry is very expensive, though you can get it on wish easily. Pricing for the piercings are higher than small business shops. Aftercare products are offered at astronomical prices, no real instructions are provided. This location is definitely convenient though. If this didnt scream, Get your holes punched at speedway!, Id have given a higher rating.

This place was packed when we arrived. However, we were greeted and signed in quickly. The wait was about 90 minutes for a simple ear helix piercing. The girls working out front were friendly and the piercer worked quickly and did a great job. We would definitely come back here for piercings. It was much less intimidating than taking my teenager to a tattoo shop for an ear piercing.

Great service, great atmosphere, Quality employees that know how to manage adults as well as children during the piercing process. Quality jewelry. The only downfall is the expense, however, the entire experience made up for the price tag. If you want a proper experience, I recommend this location everytime.

Walked in to get my nose pierced with a friend. Didnt have to wait long, everyone was friendly. Clean store. Alex did my piercing, he made me feel comfortable with the process and joked around with us. Excellent placement and a quick, virtually painless piercing! Wish I had taken my daughter here for her ears. Jewelry is fairly priced and I was able to get a new cartilage ring also. Highly recommend!

I got my doubles pierced here and the whole process was great from start to finish. Everyone was very patient, professional and helpful. The store itself was clean and everything was very sterile when I went to get the piercing. Overall it was a great experience and I will totally be returning!

Be prepared for a wait. We waited over an hour, but everyone was very friendly. They all know stuff and are informative and patient. When it came time for the piercings (just ears) the lady was very nice and calm. My kiddo was nervous, but she said she barely felt it and they looked perfect. It was definitely worth the wait!

I took my daughter to Body Jewel to get her ears pierced for her birthday. The staff was informative and pleasant to work with. My daughter was quite nervous when it was go time and Rowan, the piercer, was very patient with her. She explained every step and made her feel more comfortable. After her ears were pierced my daughter got nauseous, pale and even threw up. Rowen was understanding and helpful with this process as well, bringing her water and a sugar tablet to get her out of that funk. I was pleased with the overall experience. The only reason I’m not giving 5 starts is because the wait time was quite long. Got there at 12:15 and didn’t leave till 2:45! There was a long line when we got there and they opened at 12! Also, my best friend joined us for this experience and got her ears pierced as well. They let my friend and daughter go in together and I know my daughter will cherish that memory forever!

Always great and helpful here, I went in to get my other nostril re-pierced. I think my piercers name was Dan, he was super sweet and very precise with making sure my nostrils would be lined up. It was the most pleasant and least painful experience I have had with a piercing thus far:)

So very last minute, I found out I have to have some medical stuff done, and have to remove all my metal piercings. My piercing artist was not available at the time, but she suggested me to Body Jewel. I called before going in and the girl who answered was super sweet, and checked to make sure they had retainers in stock for me before I came in. When I got there I am pretty sure the same girl helped me pick out all the correct sizes I needed, (I have 7 facial piercings, and a few others) and was just all around super helpful through my experience. I opted for the jewelry change service, because some of my piercings have not been removed since installed, and my nostril is one that bends together. The artist who took care of me had great bedside manner, was very quick and precise, and had pretty much all of my jewelry changed out painlessly within about 10/15 minutes. They even gave me a card for a free jewelry change to have all of my metal stuff put back in after I have my medical stuff taken care of. 💕 These guys were super cool and took great care of me start to finish. I really appreciate good staff like this.

They did an amazing job with my 6 year old! Everyone was super professional, helpful, and friendly, and the piercing itself was so quick and seamless! My daughter didnt even flinch (nor did she have time to)! We were very impressed with this place, and would highly recommend.

Very wonderful piercing shop, no appointment needed but waiting can get a little long (your at a mall tho!). Always clean and professional. They have a beautiful selection of jewelry but a little lacking in stones/metal pieces for bars. All three of my piercings have been done excellently and are very symmetrical!

I took my two daughters to get nose piercings and the entire experience was amazing! The staff was friendly and so helpful when answering any questions we had. At piercing time my girls got alittle overwhelmed and nervous but the piercer was so calm and talked them thru their piercings every step of the way. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE THAT MADE OUR VISIT GREAT!

Got my conch pierced here and it bled like crazy for 4 days. Last day it was barely bumped and bled for half an hour straight where I had to hold my head over the sink. Think it either got pierced with a bigger needle than the jewelry that was put in or the needle went in weird when it got pierced. Would highly suggest just going to Piercology in Columbus. They helped me out and immediately fixed the bleeding! They are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. If youre getting a piercing, I would suggest just going there to be safe. Its worth the drive!

I’ve gotten all 5 of my piercings done here over the past couple of years, and have never had a bad experience. Very professional, relaxed environment. Everything has healed beautifully too, very pleased with their work!

Super awesome experience. Got my piercing done about 2 months ago and has healed beautifully. The girl the helped us at the counter was super friendly. She actually looked at our ears and gave her opinions on what would look best for our ear structure which really gave us a custom and personal experience. Overall I have absolutely zero complaints.

Great experience every time I’ve been here (5) to be exact. The staff is always kind and professional. They have a duty to provide their professional opinions about piercings based on your body’s anatomy and although my daughter was denied for a piercing because of this I highly appreciate their recommendation and being honest about how the body can reject the piercing. Yesterday Tyler was our piercer and he did a wonderful job on both my daughter and I ! Thank you to the staff for offering a clean and caring environment. They do require an appointment and mask to enter which is understandable given the BS with COVID. They may be limited on items due to supply and demand right now so people need to understand this.

Great experience all the way through. When I called to see if I had to make an appointment, the gentleman informed me that they did walk-ins only, and he was very kind and helpful! Alia was our piercer and she was a delight! She made my daughter feel calm, followed proper sanitary protocols, and did an overall excellent job taking care of us. Will be back.

My 10 yo daughter got her ears pierced here for her birthday. The staff did a great job making her feel comfortable and confident. They took their time, keep everything very clean, and safe. My wife also got an additional ear piercing, and was impressed with the experience. Very clean, professional, and took the event seriously. Highly recommend.

She was sooooo friendly, knowledgeable, great vibes, and gave me the best experience Ive ever had! I have had many piercings and some with terrible back stories, but Alia got the job done. I did not have a good experience there, I did not go to get anything pierced just simple purchasing new earrings for my existing piercing, they were so rude to me, and were making it difficult for me to shop for what I want, I am not going back… oh overpriced and they gave me my over $100 earrings in a ziplock baggie… an $8 earring from Amazon get sent in a cute velvet bag…

The staff in the front of the store was really nice. Rowan was the one who did our piercings and she was wonderful. Very thorough. Would definitely come back to get another piercing.

Our experience was wonderful. I took my 5 year old daughter to get her ears pierced. Tyler was the piercer and he was excellent with my little girl. He spoke to her kindly and explained everything he was going to do before he did it. He was patient and redrew the markings for the piercing twice to get them exactly right. I would definitely recommend Body Jewel for piercings.

Got my septum pierced tonight by Alia. She did an amazing job and made me feel so comfortable. I was so afraid of the pain and it hardly hurt at all. The piercing is straight and she was quick! She explained everything she was doing as well as aftercare. Made sure I didnt have any questions before leaving and was super friendly. The place is clean, they sterilize everything right before they pierce you and have a wide variety of jewelry to choose from once healed! Will definitely return for another piercing!Their prices are pretty much the same as the other piecing shops in the Dayton area.

I wanted to get my belly button pierced for forever and my parents told me once I was 18 I could. So after my birthday on 4/2 on went through body jewel they didn’t even speak to me for the first 10 minutes then they helped me and I filled out my paperwork they told me it was a 45 minute and they would call me when ready so I said okay and walked around the mall to kill time. An hour goes by and I still have no call so I go back up there and they tell me that there is still 4 people ahead of me so I wasted my gas and time to go there for no reason. I then had to find a new place to go because I wasn’t waiting another hour!Not good service nor do they know how to set a wait time I will never go back

I almost passed out after getting my piercings and the piercer was very accommodating, informative, and understanding. She gave me as much time as I needed to lay down and feel better, provided me with water and a glucose tablet, and helped me understand what was happening to me and why. I highly recommend going to Body Jewel, especially if you’re afraid of needles. The staff will make sure your experience is as stress-free as possible. (And my piercings look great!)

I got one cartilage piercing and two lobe piercings two days ago. The guy who checked us in was so nice and understanding. We had several hiccups as I couldnt explain what I wanted clearly, but he was so nice. The wait time was pretty short: 20 minutes. When I was getting my ears pierced, the purple haired lady was so professional and explained the procedure in detail. In all, the piercing was super quick and I loved it!

Went to this location last week to see about getting a new piercing. Other than my lobes Ive gotten all my other piercings over the years at this location no issue (7 total). I went in after a lady and her daughter so as they were there first they were helped first , ok fine no biggie. Then it was at least a good 10 minute gap before someone came in after I had and I was completely blown off and the customers that came in after me were helped as soon as the guy finished helping the lady and her daughter. It was only her and I in the store as customers at the time so it wasnt super busy. The guy helping was very unprofessional and rude. Needless to say I ended up walking out

All of the workers are extremely helpful, they know what theyre talking about and they have a wide variety of jewelry and piercing options. I recently went to get a dermal taken out and it was quick, she didnt do anything without telling me first and was extremely helpful with aftercare and helping me through the process. I absolutely love them, Ive been going to them for my piercings since I was 17 (with parental consent).

I went here yesterday to get my nose pierced. The staff was very friendly and helped explain the piercings. The man who pierced my nose said he has been piercing for 12 years. He was very friendly and professional and helped ease my worries. He also helped my friend change her lip piercing. The service was great and we will definitely be going back for more piercings

I’ve gotten 2 piercings at this place and I love it! My most recent piercing which is my tongue was done by this lovely lady named Alia! She was fantastic! Everything was clean and well taken care of. I was a little nervous for my piercing but alias beautiful energy got me through it. She hyped me up and made sure I felt very comfortable throughout the whole process. I would definitely recommend this going to the body jewel at the mall at Fairfield Commons.

I got my very first professional piercing here. I wanted an Industrial piercing and they told me that there was a 2 hour wait but ended up getting me a hour and 20 minutes early. They took me back and talked to me about the piercing itself and the lady was very joyful and told me that I was badass for wanting my industrial pierced first. We got it all done and she was very surprised and proud that i took it so well! Very recommended :)

My two girlfriends and I got our cartilage pierced here and had the BEST service!! The people there are so kind, helpful, and easy to talk to. They were so excited with us, and helped us decide what earring we wanted, and where we wanted our piercing. I had an absolutely amazing experience at this shop today. I had gone in for an eyebrow piercing and left with that as well as snake bites! I had felt a bit lightheaded after so the piercer had gave me water, a cold towel, and fanned me. After I had gone to leave I lost all vision and sat down outside their store. A very very wonderful person came out and helped me up and took me back in to sit down somewhere safe and had took care of me again. I greatly appreciate their compassion and piercing abilities. This is the only place I will go for piercings. I felt horrible causing them trouble afterwards but they were extremely reassuring and compassionate. I cannot thank these workers enough for the help they provided me today.

Decided to get my first piercing and my wife got some more done. I didnt catch the piercers name, but she did a great job, and was conversational to help with my anxiety. Definitely recommend if you want a new or a first piercing!

I’ve always liked coming to this shop, everyone has always been really nice, there’s a nice selection of products and most importantly it’s clean! Several days ago I had a nostril hoop put in. I had to go back in today because the hoop was way too small which caused inflammation and pulling at the piercing site as well as the bottom of the hoop to rub my nose raw where it sat. As you can imagine it got real painful. I get that things happen but I wish someone would’ve pointed out that a larger one should’ve been used, the piercer seemed to be in a hurry. I did get charged a jewelry change fee but the new jewelry was free so that was a silver lining.

I got my ear lobes done here and they were so patient and amazing. I recommend going here if youre a bit nervous/anxious. They dont use a piercing gun and all of their tools are clean and sterilized. It was quick and easy and they do walk ins. There was a bit of a wait when I went but they were making sure everyone was in and out while being socially distanced. Would definitely recommend!

100% This place is awesome sauce!!! Their professional and clean. Taking the time to go through everything they are doing while giving amazing after care tips. They are very well informed about what they are doing. I got 3 piercings in one session and She was very professional while also keeping the atmosphere relaxed. (I wish I knew how to spell her name, Look for the awesome tri colored pink hair and eyebrows on point!!) I recommend her everytime!! I had my navel pierced at the Dayton location, and it became really infected shortly after. I tried talking to a piercer there about it but she was incredibly rude, and couldn’t be bothered to even make eye contact with me. Well I went to this location to shop for a new piece of jewelry, and was greeted warmly by Wendy. She was so professional, kind and pleasant! I ended up telling her a little bit about the problem and she asked questions about my behaviors when it came to cleaning it, and was able to tell me what I was doing wrong, and exactly how it was affecting my piercing. She explained all of his in a very patient and comforting manner. She’s very knowledgeable and was great in helping me solve my problem. Within 2 minutes she delivered a 5 Star experience. I went today to get my tragus done, and it was honestly an impulse decision after debating it for months. The staff were SO nice and friendly. My piercer, Windy, helped relieve me of my anxieties of getting pierced (despite having done it 3+ other times lol) and she was quick and precise with the piercing. Im so happy with the result, the service, AND the prices of the piercing and the jewelry. 10/10 will recommend to friends and family!

The folks at Body Jewel are amazing. From the moment I walked in I felt welcome and at home. The gentleman that did my nose piercing, Ryan I believe, made me feel super comfortable and talked with me like were old friends. The two best experiences I’ve had in a piercing or tattoo studio have both been here. I’ll be returning in a few weeks for more work.

I had a phenomenal experience today with Ryan, Katie, and Wendy! Patient, friendly, and kind, they answered all of my questions with enthusiasm and showed they really care about what they do and who they help. The shop was clean and sanitized frequently and all safety precautions were followed well. I have gone to Body Jewel many times over the years and have always had a pleasant experience, but Wendy and her team were top notch!

Great selection of body jewels but wish they were just a wee bit less expensive. Very helpful and courteous staff. They do make me feel like Im taking too long because they always seem jittery no matter which one I go to or who helps me. They are sweet tho. My first choice for piercing needs.

Got my ears pierced here some time ago and forgot to leave a review. Very professional atmosphere, friendly staff. The environment is very clean, even the display glasses were wiped down and i was there late in the day. Not much else to say than to get yourself in and book an appointment.

Wonderful experience. My 7 year old got her ears pierced here a few months ago and the piercer was amazing with her.No long wait once we got there for our appointment. Piecer reassured her the whole time while asking me if I was comfortable with everything she was doing . Will definitely return for all our piercing needs

Took my 12 year old daughter to get her ears pierced for the first time. What I noticed first, was how clean the shop was. Also, at the time Body Jewel was packed with folks but that didnt stop the awesome, immediate, and friendly welcome. Within 30 seconds the staff knew what we wanted. The single piece of paper work (because my daughter is a minor) took no time at all. We didnt wait long at all. Before we knew it, my daughters name was called. The lady doing the piercing was super nice to my daughter. She also made sure my daughter understood what was going on and made my daughter feel exceptionally good about the procedure. She was thorough because she was using actual piercing needles and not a hit or miss needle gun. Badaboom badabing! Extremely pleased and very thankful for a place like this.

I got my septum piercing done here yesterday by alex and he did an INCREDIBLE job. he walked me through the process and made me feel super comfortable. afterwards i felt pretty lightheaded so he stayed in the room with me and got me water and a wet towel to put on my head and make sure i was okay before i left. my piercing isn’t sore at all and i am in love with it so if you’re planning on getting a piercing make sure you get ALEX!!!

Went in to get both ears pierced and the guys working there were real informative and laid back. Told the guy I hate needles so we joked around which really helped.Told me everything I needed to know about cleaning and maintenance and would definitely recommend.

The layout and design of the store gives you lots of selection at and options to consider. The are up front and informative regarding requirements and any questions you have. Your piercing is in a private room and their sterilization and COVID protocols were complete and adhered to. My piercer was friendly yet professional and supportive of any questions or changes. My place to go for any future piercings!

They were kind and very helpful when I walked in and asked about the piercing I wanted. My piercer was friendly and fast with getting my piercing done. She explained what I needed to do to clean and take care of it during the process. I would go back for more.

Went and got a couple piercings today with my sister. I got my third in both lobes and my cartilage and my sister got her cartilage and her nose. They were very attentive and professional! Had quite a few people on the floor to assist. We were very nervous because this was the first time we had piercings with the needle, we had always done them with a gun. The lady that pierced us was very patient, walked us through the entire process, and took care of us very well. I would definitley reccomend this place!

Somaya did my piercing at the Fairfield location, and it was by-far one of the best piercings Ive ever gotten.It was clean, quick, and hardly any pain during the process. She was awesome, and did a great job! The whole shop was super nice, and next day, still no pain coming from my ears and only small discomfort when brushed against them. Which NEVER happens with me. I got helix piercings in both ears. 10/10

My wife got 2 ear piercings and I got some excellent advice on re-stretching my ears..They even gave me a website to go to to buy the stretching kit..Super professional, very clean, and friendly place. Highly recommended..

Got two cartilage piercings done and the whole experience was professional and informative. Two piercings, earrings, and a tip cost about $100...a good deal if youre a novice who wants comfort throughout the process. They had a great selection of reasonably priced jewelry, and rebecca did a fantastic job piercing and comforting me as I didnt feel too well in the process. Would recommend for new piercers or people who want a comfortable, sterile environment!!

The people who work here are so great! Mon-thurs they have a buy one piercing get one half off so i got both nostrils done at the same time. The person who did mine was very thorough in making sure they were even and where i wanted.

Nice staff and service. My cartilage had an issue for a year and got infected so I took earring out to clean but I couldn’t put it back in.So I went to the shop with a earring that I bought from them a year go. The hole was almost closed but they put the earring back in and it was $10. They would be willing to help you if you are having any problem after piercing.

Ive had my nose for 5 years, my belly button for about 3 or 4 years done by the Dayton body jewelry. I just got my tragus pierced by Tyler today and he did the most fantastic job. Very professional, quick, knowledgeable and over all very nice. Im so happy with my piercing and its in the perfect spot

I went here to get my nose pierced again and the lady who did it was awesome!! I didnt even feel it!! The 1st time I got it done in Tennessee and it was a horrible experience. So Kudos to Body Jewel. Ill be back and I highly recommend them to anyone looking to get a body piercing.

My cousin and I got our belly buttons and helix done here at the same time and both of our ears got infected (we followed care instructions) and we had to go to a local tattoo/ piercing shop to get it changed, then the swelling finally went down with the new earring and antibiotics. Also, they put an eyebrow ring in my belly button and took a very large bite so the bar barely had room to breath. The top of the jewelry I had kept digging into my stomach and kept creating an open wound and since it had no room to move, it would not heal properly so I had to get that changed as well. As well as this, they were very rushed and did not seem to care about the customers personal well being. They simply wanted a pay check. Since we got both piercings done at the same time, after my cousin got her belly button done she asked the piercer for a second to breath before she did the cartilage and she piercer did not give her a moment, rather she started to mark her ear for the next piercing. Also to show their time manegment issues when we were finished and had to ask how we were to care for our piercings she called our cartilage piercings a nose piercing because how rushed she was. Also, they are very over priced. I would not recommend going here. I would check out some local tattoo and piercing places to get piercings:)

I just got my third ear piece on my right ear and my second on my left ear. Windy did such a great job and she was very encouraging. I was really nervous but she helped me out a lot. I highly recommend Windy for anyone that gets their ears pierced there. When I get my industrial ear pierce I am definitely asking for ger. Thank you Windy!!

Had my Helix pierced at another place, went to Body Jewel to get it changed out since they have a big selection. First time I had it changed, no problems (Female changed it). Just went in recently for another change, the guy who changed it was terrible! Pulled real hard on the earring, struggled to get it out to the point I wanted to cry! Didnt seem to care or even apologize! Ear was red and swollen for days, I finally took the earring out it hurt so bad, I will never have him do any of my piercings or changes again!

My experience here was great I got septum there in 2020 and they were great. Got a nose piercing this week and she finished in less than 2 minutes and we talked for like 5 minutes. Love it

If you arent looking to spend too much money there are plenty of options, if youre able to spend a bunch, there are also plenty of options. The individual with the blue hair found the piece I wanted immediately and recommended the perfect nose studs that I hadnt seen. They also anodized the pieces I wanted super quickly.The jewelery change was fast. I had been struggling with removing one of my neometal textured discs for over a month, but the piercer was able to pop it out no problem.I really like this location. In my mind, its on par in selection and product knowledge as Evolved in Columbus.

One time, I got my industrial pierced here. The girl did a wonderful job so I trusted body jewel. I came in and a different lady pierced my septum and tongue. I knew my tongue was VERY crooked when I left, but I just found out that my septum is also very crooked. I will be calling tomorrow to demand a refund. Long story short, not coming here again to get pierced.

I have had multiple piercings done at Body Jewel. The staff is professional and helpful! The rooms are extremely clean which is a huge deal when it comes to comfort. Would recommend them to anyone

I initially wasnt thrilled to go into Body Jewel because the employees at the Dayton Mall location are always extremely rude & dismissive. Happy that this location is the opposite! Even though they were full of customers the employee took the time to greet me & help me with exactly what I needed. I am so happy with my new jewelry & will make the longer drive to only go to this location here on out.

Last week I went and got my nipples pierced here. The right one has healed fine with little pain and hardly and problems but the left one was pierced too deep and swelled around the barbell they used. I dont recommend this place for body piercings.

Pre-Covid I couldnt sing their praises enough. We had gone here a bunch of times. But in the last year.... their prices have gone up and in some cases doubled and there is ALWAYS a huge line. We have walked away more than we have actually gone in and been helped.Today I went to simply buy earrings, no piercing, and was told I still had to wait in the line of 20+ people. Hard pass. Ill take my business elsewhere.

The staff helped me with all of my questions and personally took me around to find the right jewelry for me and my niece. They allow someone there for support if youre nervous about getting pierced. They have titanium to cut down on rejection. They help you put your jewelry back on/switch out your piercings if you need it. Clean and good selection on jewelry. The only downside is the smaller amount of seating while waiting. Closest entrance is nearest to the pizza place.

Went there, and my normal piercer wasnt there, I was a little nervous at first. But what a great staff, top to bottom. I wont go anywhere else. Very impressive.

Store is clean and has a decent selection but I felt like my thoughts and concerns regarding stretching my ears were not heard. I hadnt worn jewelry in my stretched ears for about two years...I didnt know what size my ears shrank to. Ultimately I paid $35 to stretch my ears to the size I was already at because they based the size of my ears off the size of my my jewelry (found a small pair of plugs that could fit but were falling out) and not the size my ears were actually at. I wish they would have ran tapers through my ears first to determine the size of my ears instead of making me pay for jewelry that was the wrong size before beginning the stretching..

Tyler was fantastic and helped us find exactly what my friends and I wanted. We all got our cartilages pierced as a girls day out. They were so professional and were ready to answer any questions we had. Would highly recomend!!

They do a great job, but I didnt get the Bogo 1/2 off the second time I went, guess you have to mention that when you check out, didnt notice till I got home, to be clear, I received one piercing, and my daughter got 3, I thought one of hers would be 1/2 off, that was all I expected.

DO NOT GO HERE JUST GO TO AN ACTUAL PIERCING PLACE. They don’t know what they’re doing. They pierced my nose with a hoop. I was unaware that you should do a stud for the healing process. They told me a hoop would be fine. 2 months later and my nose is still infected. I now have a huge blister and have to seek medical help. Save yourself the trouble.

Got pierced at 6 and streteched to 4 immediately, not for everyone but they were great! Had to come back for some help cleaning things up after and they took care of me right away no charge. Very clean and professional. If you go get large piercings make sure you ate and take some cold water, it helps a lot.

We frequent here at Body Jewel. I have not yet had one bad experience. Today we git a piercing and extra jewelry at wonderful prices. Its now our go to body jewelry shop for the last 6 months!! Everyone that works there is great and knowledgeable!

The hours advertised are false. I came in 2 hours before closing and they had a sign up saying that due to the wait for piercings they no longer are accepting clients for the day. However, there was no wait and the associates were just standing around talking. They were extremely unprofessional. I’ve gotten several piercings here and I am extremely disappointed in how much they have went downhill. I’d suggest updating the hours to close the shop if you aren’t going to do any business.

Got my nose and tragus pierced the same day, a Friday. Monday, after no foul play only cleaning, it fell out. I have been pierced a lot and it has never happened. They are unwilling to refund though obviously the piercer did not screw the ball on tight enough. I would go to a tattoo/piercing shop if I wanted anything more. Manager didnt even seem to really care only say they would put it back in, but I wouldnt trust another piercing from this place.

They did my son septum piercing for his sweet 16 and they did a great job! Very professional and felt welcomed and they educated us on how to take care of it

They were very helpful and informative. Explained how after care would work for my piercing and explained the anatomical requirements for a belly button piercing. Greatly explained how the piercing size works and also was able to share piercing experience which helped everything seem less anxious and scary. Made sure I was comfortable and relaxed the whole time. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family and I definitely for sure would definitely come back for more piercings! My new favorite place now.🖤 The workers were so nice and friendly.

This place is over rated, expensive and not worth it! They were rude to my daughter and me and tried to charge us over $150 for one piercing. Nice try.

So. Not gonna lie, I was happy with my nose piercing, until I had to go back because it fell out on a week. I go back, and person put my nose piercing back in, but put it on TOO tight, so now I can’t get it out, and I have a stud that has a ball that 2x bigger than the jewl. I went back recently to see if they could loosen it, but I have to pay EVEN MORE money to loosen a piercing that you guys did, I just thanked them and walked away.. I still have the receipt and I got it done in November. Definitely not happy.

Got my tongue pierced today! Got there early so not too long of wait. Great service, nice staff, very sanitary, and did the piercing so quick it didnt even hurt!

From work and guest experience the piercers are always drunk or on somethingThey always badmouth guests as they leave or enter and many of them cut corners which cause many guests to get permement scars

I have multiple piercings and Ive never quite had an experience like this one. I got a medusa piercing and for those who dont know, thats the Cupids bow on the top of the lip. I waited until the swelling went down and turns out I was both crooked and off center. I called the store and that had me stop back in to look at it. They agreed it was, instructed me to take it out and theyd redo it for me when the initial whole closed up. They were so nice and professional!!

I got my daith pierced by Somaya today. While its true there was about a 20 minute wait (Saturday, 12:30ish), I was told up front. I walked around the mall and they called me when it was my turn. Somaya was honest about the pain level of the piercing and the fact that, although the hope was it would help with headaches, there wasnt any scientific evidence to back it up. Although the shop was busy, I didnt feel like I was being rushed through, and the staff was very professional. Because Ive only had the piercing for about 10 hours, I cant say anything about the final product. However, after having multiple piercings at various tattoo parlors, Id say Body Jewel is on par.

Every time I go to this place Im bacially talked down to like Im slow. Ive bought all my piercing jewelery here. The last visit I bought a size 4 tongue bar. The sizeable bars are known to have issues with threading. I come back in about 30 seconds after buying it and let them know that when you screw the ball on it is scratchy and the threading is messed up. They all sorround it saying, oh, its fine, its fine, feels fine to me. So I take it home, Im not one to fight with retail workers. Well thanks to their EXPERT knowledge, theres now a piece of metal shard stuck in my mouth because its fine. This place isnt bad, but the workers have to accept a sizeable amount of their product is trash. A lot of septum clickers they carry dont click correctly and fall out super easily. Ive had to go through their stock to find one that actually does work.If their customer service wasnt as demeaning and rude, Id probably be a lot more pleased.

Service was amazing, they were so polite and patient with every question. They offered to taper my tongue because I was getting it pierced for the second time. I watched my girlfriend get her nose pierced here too. 10/10 would recommend.

I went to Body Jewel yesterday for the first time. My fiance and I were the only ones there, so the girl that helped us was able to give us all her attention. I got a cartilage piercing about 3 years ago and have always had trouble getting good earrings for it. I decided to go give Body Jewel a try since they seemed more professional. The girl helping us was very nice and helped me find a beautiful earring for my piercing to wear on my wedding day in 2 weeks. The back was a screw on, something I had not used before. She told me not to worry and that if I couldnt get it on to come back to the store and they would do it for me. So, that night I tried putting it in so my ear had time to heal and get used to the new piece before the wedding (past experiences from other earrings have caused some irritation and infection). I spent a good 30mins trying to get the darn thing on and couldnt do it. The back seemed too small and my fingers couldnt grip the earring to even try twisting it on. So, I went back today to see if I could get someone to help me put it on. When I got there, the place was full of people getting piercings done. After getting overlooked and waiting for a long time, a girl finally helped me. I explained my situation to her and she told me theres a near $10 charge to put the earring in for you. I looked at her puzzled and told her the girl I spoke with the night before said nothing about a charge. She told me she was sorry, but to have a someone put it in they would have to charge. So then I asked what about getting a new back? I told her the one I got seemed too small and she told me the girl probably gave me the standard size and if I wanted a new size it was going to be another $14. I had already spent over $20 on this little earring and now they wanted me to pay more... I explained to her that I was never told any of this and didnt want to pay to have this fixed since I was not informed. She then told me they have to use a special tool to put the earring in and that I could buy the tool if I wanted to. I stood there a little taken back. My thought is, so I just paid over $20 for an earring they dont tell you have have to have specially put in with a tool. Then if I want it Im, I have to pay another $10 for them to do so. So I would be spending about $30 for this little piece of jewelry?? I walked out feeling so cheated out of my money and like no one cared to help me. The girl didnt even ask a manager if there was any way they could help me. So instead I went to Icing and got a $6 earring that fits. Its not nearly what I wanted, but I guess it will do. Now I have a $20 earring that I cant even use. Overall, Id say there was definitely a lack of care for costumer concern here for people who are still new to the piercing game.

They had A-line and I stood in it for 40 minutes and finally at my turn they told me that they would not Pierce because it was after 5 oclock and they decided that day that they were gonna cut it off the time And I called earlier in the day and they told me they wouldnt cut off until 630

Literally the worst experience I have ever had. The employees were extremely rude as soon as I walked through the door. They do not welcome you at all, they do enjoy gossiping about their customers, and not helping you find anything in their store. I would not recommend the worst service I have ever received. If you want to ruin your day, I recommend coming here.

I went back to get a new top for my stud. I asked which ones is which and was pointed to a section. I chose one and wasn’t able to see the back of it until after I paid. They had sold me a screw, which is uncomfortable to wear for me, so I asked if I could simply exchange it (hadn’t even left the building yet) and their reply was “she showed you the wrong section” and I could not get a new one

A better system is needed for the waiting line. It is a mess at the moment.

Alia is such an amazing peircer, ive had several done by her and never an issue. Everywhere else I seem to go doesnt know how to do it essentially painlessly. Highly recommend here for all of your peircings!

I got my septum pierced today it was quick and easy I came in as soon as they opened and the guy who did it told me there was nothing to worry about that it wasnt gonna hurt it didnt

I got my nose pierced here, it was a great experience, but I feel terrible I forget the girls name who did my piercing. She was super nice and made me feel comfortable being there.

I’ve had multiple piercings done here but the change in the way the shop is run, as well as management and who they’ve hired has really gone down hill. Their piercers are horrible and should not be allowed to do what they’re doing.

Great experience, friendly staff. Only complaint was i wanted to record my daughters nose piercing & was told i couldnt. Other than that it was a good experience

Very unexpected location. Was hesitant it being in a mall, but I was wrong. They open up early as well which is a bonus.Staff is really nice, large selection of jewlery, very professional and sanitary.

I went in for a daith piercing. The piercer was knowledge and professional. I was in and out of the store in under 30 minutes. I will go back if and when I want another piercing.

Called ahead to find out the cut off time was told 5:30 maybe 6 at the latest. Drove about 40 mins to get there ,arrived at 5 and was told they cut off early . They dont allow appointments so it is impossible to go unless u go really early
