My best friend and I went to get ear piercings and it was the most seamless easy experience with Alex! He made us nervous girls so calm and it was the least painful experience ever! I highly recommend booking anything with Alex, he’s so awesome!

I have to share the amazing experience I recently had with David Klaiber from Blue Byrd. My best friend and I got matching tattoos that did not turn out so great. They were awful and just messed up in so many ways leaving us both so disappointed. We got with David sending him pictures and once he saw them he immediately had us come in for consultations on how to fix them coming up with individual game plans that worked great for us both. We were both so blown away how David went above and beyond to fix these issues and even do tons more work on us to make sure we left there feeling amazing about our tattoos. We now both have gorgeous pieces we wear with pride and want to show off. That means the world to me!! Having a bad tattoo is a terrible regretful feeling but knowing someone cared enough to work on us several different times to make it right was huge!!! I’m just so very happy with how this all turned out from how it all began. Also I have to add I really enjoy being at the shop. The atmosphere and services they provide there are just top notch. Every person that walks in they are so friendly to and go above and beyond to help. I truly highly highly recommend Blue Byrd and can not wait for David to do more work on me!!!!

Liz she did such an amazing job with my piercings. She was super professional and friendly. I had no issues with my piercings and despite being helix piercings, they healed better than my lobes piercings that I had got somewhere else.I did snag one of my piercings and I got to see her right away and she took care of it like a pro. I will definitely be getting more from her even though its quite the trip for me.

My experience with Blue Bird tattoos has been excellent for years. The artists are respectful and extremely talented. I’ve had two large cover up tattoos completed there and I consistently get compliments on the artwork completed by David. The place is clean and I am happy to recommend any of my friends to go there!

Spent 150$ for a crooked and off-center nape piercing. The owner and piercer both refused to refund and stated that we were at fault for agreeing to dots he put on my wifes neck. When I pointed out it was crooked, the piercer dimissed my concern and said it was just inflammation. I even tipped the guy. What a joke.

Logan (@loandbeholdInk) helped me create a beautiful kodama tatoo inspired by the forest spirit from a studio Ghibli film I love. She was flexible, professional and extremely personable throughout the entire process. Couldnt recommend her enough!!!

Cannot recommend Chloe enough! She was so kind and understanding as I saw her for my first ever big piece. She made sure I was comfortable, explained everything. She is so talented, she did a half sleeve along with 2 cover ups. I have gotten so many compliments on her work! Her pricing is fair and her workspace is clean. I will be going back for all of my future tattoos! I’ve added pictures but please keep in mind ** tattoo is not complete as I need to go back for shading and it is still healing**

Went to Alex yesterday to have him look at my Medusa since it formed a bump, and he was the MOST helpful. He switched out my bar for me and gave me so many helpful tips to help me save my piercing. I will absolutely be going back to him for any piercings!

Logan was amazing !!! Very professional as well as a great artist!!! I’ve been back twice since my first visit. Prices are fair and work is top of the line!!! Can’t wait to go back and get more work done.

Update:The owner had Liz contact me to clear things up. It was a very big misunderstanding. I’m a weird person, I communicate directly & bluntly & sometimes people take that the wrong way. Kelsey felt I was lying or trying to get back money I hadn’t paid. They located me records confirmed I had made a deposit. Evidently Kelsey applied the deposit to my tattoo, with that plus tip I paid $300 for less than an hour of work.I have an outline & some words covered, that’s it. Picture is attached. Kelsey was very sweet to me every time I met her. I had a good feeling about her, a warm feeling. She held my hand when I cried, she didn’t get upset when I asked questions. She made me want to become a tattoo artist too.For whatever reason, that’s not the same vibe I got this morning. Kelsey really took offense to everything I said. It ruined my whole day. Liz apologized, found another artist to finish the job & offered a discount off the tattoo. We declined, as I still can’t get tattooed right now & my husband wants to find another place to take his business.Thanks for the help to Liz & Jazz, thanks for knowing in weird but kind. Sorry again Kelsey, wasn’t trying to be hostile.Currently waiting to hear back from shop owner to see if I update my review.I came to Kelsey a few weeks ago, in need of a tattoo cover up that was triggering me. I had a deposit, had to delay things because of my medical condition but eventually started it. Sadly I couldn’t finish it because of my medical condition. I made the mistake of paying out of picking & holding my deposit because I thought I could go back to have it finished.Sadly, I won’t be able to anytime soon. I reached out to Kelsey to see if my husband could come into the shop & use my deposit towards something she did for him instead. I thought that was more than reasonable, I guess not. Waiting to hear from the owners to see what’s going on moving forward.

I’ve love love loved every tattoo experience with Siren as the artist. I’m the most comfortable when I’m in her chair because she creates such a safe welcoming environment where I feel comfortable to voice if I need breaks or changes in the design/placement. I always walk out of getting tattooed by her feeling great about myself and excited about my new art:)

Ive gotten 2 tattoos done from this shop. One was very very long ago. The most recent artist I had she was amazing. She did my memorial piece for my mother. She was very understanding and very sweet. And she did an amazing job! Its beautiful 😍 kelsey is an Amazing artist! Go see her!!! Thank you again!

I’ve been going to this shop for 11 years, and they just keep getting better. I’ve always loved the vibe, the artist are are always incredible, knowledgeable, friendly, and flexible. My most recent piece from Blue Byrd was by their apprentice, Lo, and she met and exceeded every single expectation I had and designed me a beautiful tattoo ❤️Highly recommend any artist at the shop, but definitely get in with Lo before she gets out of her apprenticeship and blows up.

I suffer from a migraine disorder that isnt always under good control with typical treatments. Id toyed with the idea of Daith piercing for quite a while, and finally decided that today was the day to follow through.My visit got off to a rough start when I pulled into the parking lot on the side of the Blue Byrds building. A sign pointed to the rear of the building, and said that BB parking was out back. However, I wasnt able to get there as a large truck was blocking the alley between the cell phone store and Blue Byrd. I sat there for a few minutes, thinking that a customer had run inside for a quick purchase and would return shortly. However, after waiting for a few minutes, I turned my car off and went inside. Thats when I heard that they had deliberately blocked the path and that Id have to go back out onto Wayne and turn left across two lanes of traffic to access the rear parking lot. When I finally arrived I noticed a sign on the door that asked customers to report any harassment from the store next door. Although I certainly wasnt harassed, I followed their request and spoke to the owner. Long story short: Dont park in that lot, as some BB customers have been towed.Other than that (and the fact that the woman I spoke to on the phone yesterday was extremely abrupt (Yes. No. Yes.) and gave the impression that I was a bother, my visit was great!Although Id be warned about how painful the Daith piercing was, Liz had great technique and it truly didnt hurt at all! Subsequently, she did my conch piercing and other cartilage piercing. Liz also switched out my earrings once theyd healed. I highly recommend Liz!! (And thank you for letting William go!!! He was mean and caused me more pain just switching out my Daith than Liz did during the actual piercing!)

It took me a real long time to decide to pull the trigger on getting my first tattoo. I finally decided on one and Lo was the best not only at executing it perfectly but making me feel confident in it so much that I am still working with her since I have expanded that piece into a forearm sleeve. This place has an amazing and personable staff thatll not only make sure your ink/piercing needs are perfectly met but also help pass the time by with fun conversation. If youre looking to add some art onto your body Let Lo be your Ink Master! Chloe is cool too I guess.

I would give a better rating but we were double book and had to reschedule because the payment method changed last minute. The artist was great and fun and the work was perfect but as a professional business they have many improvements needed for a better score

I’ve searched the Dayton area to find a more permanent artist and came across Alex Hannan at bluebird and really enjoy his work. Me and my Love came in for a flash sale to check him out and get something fun and was definitely satisfied. When ready I’m looking forward to do a Collab with him on a few different pieces. We definitely recommend Alex to anyone.

One of my favorite shops! I’ve been coming to Blue Byrd on Wayne for years. Jazzlyn has become my favorite. Her work is beautiful and she is so sweet! My most recent tattoo from her is definitely my favorite 🥰✨

I’ve had three tattoos from Blue Byrd on Wayne Ave. and they always deliver professional results. Kierain did my latest and I love it. I had a paw print from my deceased dog that she drew up and expertly inked. I highly recommend her for custom work!

Alex Hannan hooked this 63 year old with re-piercing holes in my earlobes which had closed up years ago (not previously pierced by Bluebyrd). He was so nice and did a great job.

Got my piercing on June 23rd with Liz she did such an amazing job. It was a great friendly and professional environment! I would love to come here more but its an hour away but it was well worth the drive.I did have problems with my piercing the regular problems of a bump showing up and I emailed Liz asking about it and she was able to tell me what to do to help it. People need to understand that piercers have busy lives and may not be able to respond as quickly as the person wants them too but Liz was able to respond to what I think is pretty quickly.Poor piercing care is not the piercers fault its the person that got it and didnt take proper care and researching it fault most of the time!!!PS. I read the bad reviews and some of the responses from you is hilarious!

I did EXTENSIVE research before deciding to get my nose pierced. I made the right decision choosing BLUE BYRD. Good vibes in the building and very CLEAN! Liz was kind and is GOOD at what she does. Yes, it hurt a little, but not as much as expected. I highly recommend them. Im going back for my tatt.

On impulse, i decided to get a tattoo i designed done on my arm last night. i was prepared to pay $100+ for it because my first tattoo i had done at blue byrd was a $100 minimum, but luckily, the new apprentice tina was doing $20 tattoos! it worked out perfectly and it’s now one of my favorite tattoos. tina has a great passion for her work, and she was so enjoyable to talk to during the whole process! i am so excited to get more work done by her in the future. i would also like to sing my praises of liz, who did my friends first piercing ever last night. although there were some minor complications, liz made my friend feel super safe and right at home, even though i couldn’t be in the room with her to hold her hand. she was super helpful with telling her how to care for the new piercing, and we even got to see her adorable kids running around towards the end of the night. blue byrd is my favorite place to recommend first-timers go because the atmosphere is so comfortable in there, and it’s one of my favorite places in dayton. now i have a new favorite artist there too! thanks so much to tina and liz for making our 2/22/2022 so memorable! ❤️

EXTREMELY nice people my piercer was Liz and they were amazing they answered all of my questions and preformed the piercing quickly and effectively always making sure I was okay, and everybody in the shop was really friendly and nice, after getting my piercing I had trouble with paying by being an idiot but they stuck through with me till I found an alternative way of payment and through all of this even though I would of deserved it they didnt lash out no they kept their composure and were really nice and professional even though they were clearly busy all in all I really cant recommend them enough I will definitely be going back next time being less of a hassle. Also ps side note when I took a lift home they told me about how they got a tattoo there with their wife and it looked AMAZING both me, him and his wife all agreed they have some really talented people there

Very helpful, looking into my first tatoo and unlike other places, they were patient with my dilly questions. ;) Now I just need to figure out what I want to get. Hopefully they can help me brainstorm.

Liz did a great job of explaining the whole process. She made it easy to relax and was the best experience I’ve ever had while getting a piercing. She did my septum and she walked through all the steps of everything that was happening and that’s never happened before. The shop is clean, highly recommend. Will definitely be going back for more piercings.

Love love love this shop! Called just to see if they had time for a walkin and Chloe had time to fit me in and im so glad she did because shes an absolute JOY to get tatted by :) she was super friendly and fun and absolutely NAILED the tattoo i wanted ❤️ Shes got a great eye for what looks good and it fits perfectly w the rest of my patch work! I had a double nose piercing done by Liz and honestly could not have had a better result. My piercings healed well and I waited 8 months to switch out my jewelry and have had zero issues with switching out studs and hoops. I am not the tattoo parlor type and at no point did Liz make me feel like I didnt belong there. Everything was clean and sterile. I appreciated being in a room without on lookers watching the whole thing. Low key, she was the perfect balance of talking me through the piercings, but not over the top.

I got my first ever tattoo from Tina here. She was very helpful with answering my questions and making sure I felt comfortable the whole time. She worked with me until we agreed on a tattoo that suited me best and she drew it beautifully. Tina is so nice and I loved talking to her. I will definitely go back to her for more tattoos.I also got a nose piercing from Liz and she did an amazing job! She made sure that I was happy with the placing and the piercing. She made sure I knew how to clean it and when I had questions about it healing about couple weeks later she told me to come in so she could look at it. She helped me with it and told me to come back if needed anything else or had any more questions. Shes very nice and helpful and if I get anymore piercings Ill get them from her.Blue Byrd is an all around great tattoo/piercing shop with great, talented, and nice employees and a fun atmosphere. The people made me feel safe and welcome and I trust them with all my future tattoos and piercings. I reccomend everyone I know to them because theyre so amazing.

My sister and I came to Liz 2 weeks ago to get our nipples pierced. Liz made us feel welcome, and helped ease our nerves as we were so scared! Liz did an amazing job on our piercings, and we are both ecstatic about how they turned out. Honestly was one of the easiest piercings I have ever healed as well and its because Liz knows what she is doing. If I ever get another piercing done, I dont think I will ever go to anyone else besides Liz!

I got both of my eyebrows pierced by Liz yesterday. She was very knowledgeable, and was open and honest about the risks associated with my piercings of choice. She paid very close attention to detail, and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process. I love how they turned out!

I went to get a daith piercing to help reduce my migraines/headaches, and Alex was most helpful! He put me at ease, was very experienced and explained each step. He even shared that his mom use to suffer from migraines, so I knew he understood. I would highly recommend Alex for piercings!! Cost was reasonable, and they fit me in the same day I called to inquire.

I got a tattoo done by Tina — the sweetest and cutest ever! She is currently building her tattoo résumé, and might I add, is doing FANTASTIC. Liz is the absolute sweetest and most amazing piercer Ive ever met. She did my nose piercing. The jewelry got ripped out and she helped put in back in with a custom bent piece for free. Shes such a talented and kind piercer. Im so thankful to have found her after countless bad experiences. I will always go to her for my piercings now.

I had my nose pierced at the Miamisburg location in 2019, shortly after the piercing came out. I was given a card for a free piercing replacement from the person who said he was the owner, David I believe. I tried to redeem it at the Wayne Avenue location and the female working was dismissive and treated me as if I fished the voucher card out of the trash. I am bother by my wasted money from the first experience, hurt and embarrassed from my second encounter with the establishment..Edit... I anticipated such a tacky response which is why I waited to write my honest opinion of the establishment in the first place. I told the person piercing my nose that my skin was thicker and I would need accommodations, I was basically met with Im the professional so I trusted her. I was pleased with my piercing as well as the means to make amends when I complained and received the comp card. The unpolished way I was treated when I tried to redeem the comp as well as the uncouth response is why the 1 star. I really wanted to leave a great review

I have gone to Liz for my industrial, daith, and other piercings and she is amazing! The whole process is simple, straight forward and I feel very comfortable. She explains what she’s doing and walks you through. She is personable, gets the job done and does it well. I have been super pleased with all of my piercings done by her.

I got my nose pierced yesterday and am so pleased with Williams work! He made me feel so comfortable. I hadnt gotten a piercing since I was 9 and that was just my ears so I was pretty nervous. But he made me feel relaxed and was very thorough in his discussion of piercing after-care. I definitely recommend the shop! (Also, whenever I admire peoples tattoos around town and ask where they got them done 9 times out of 10 its Blue Byrd!)

Liz is a phenomenal piercer- she is knowledgeable, kind, and skilled. She curates jewelry well, and is one of the best piercers I have been to. Highly recommended for new and experienced “piercees”! Affordable prices, and the jewelry is always of high quality- no costume jewelry.

Tay did an incredible job and I love my tattoo! He was willing to work with me to make sure the final product was both what I wanted, and the best possible tattoo that he could give me. He went above and beyond, even coming in after hours for consults and aftercare. I will absolutely be coming back, and recommend him to anyone looking for a new tattoo.

We just moved to the area, and I unfortunately had 10 year old dermals that started to reject. I went to multiple competitors that kept pushing me off. I was sent to Liz by multiple people, via social media. Let me tell you, she did not disappoint! I was so nervous! She kept me calm during the entire removal process, and talked me through every step. Even though, it was difficult, and she probably should have sent me to a surgeon she took her time! She made that ish happen!!! The scars are going to be minimal,and I barely cursed lol. You will not find a cleaner, more professional place for piercings!!

Yesterday I saw Liz for a helix piercing on my left ear. She and her apprentice were very sweet and worked together to find the perfect placement for the earring. Once this baby heals, I will definitely be returning for the other ear!

Got both lobes and a nostril piercing by liz at the wayne location, absolutely wonderful! id never been pierced before and she did everything she could to calm my nerves and explain to me exactly what shes doing and why. same for explaining piercing care. the banter from the others working there was quite enjoyable too. overall, i highly recommend her, thanks for not letting me pass out! and same to the worker (whose name i didnt quite catch) who walked me out to make sure i didnt get lightheaded again

They do such a great job here!! Extremely friendly and inviting every time I have been in! 3 years ago I got my cartilage pierced here, it never hurt or got infected & I could sleep on that side right away. I also decided to go back here about a week ago to get my nose pierced and Liz did a great job!! It barely hurt and still doesn’t ever hurt! It is a very clean and friendly place that I HIGHLY recommend!!

Shea did an awesome job. Very creative artist. I had some old really bad tats and he was able to do some unbelievable cover up. High quality art and priced reasonable. I had Tay as my tattoo artist today he was extremely helpful to helping cover up a bad tattoo, very kind guy who is a pleasure to be around, and as you can see his line work speaks for itself I can’t stop looking at how great it is (also was at a great price) excited to be finishing up the piece this week. I highly recommend this tattoo shop everyone is super friendly as well as highly talented! Absolutely will be returning for more!

David’s work is always incredible! I’ve gotten a tremendous amount of compliments on the work Dave has done on my arms. One of the tats was a cover up of solid black lettering. When I tell people that this is a cover up they usually don’t believe me. I’ve never taken a photo or a picture into the shop. Typically Dave and I discuss what’s in my head and he starts drawing and we end up with exactly what I had in mind. David is honest almost to a fault. I have had an idea for a tattoo in the past and Dave has done his best to explain and caution me as to what that may look like in years to come. Dave will also attempt to coach a person if he has a concern that the placement or orientation of a design may be wrong. I trust Dave completely with my tattoos and I am always confident that when the work is finished I’ll be happy with the result. The staff at Blue Byrd is always courteous and professional. The shops are clean and well stocked. Perhaps the greatest compliment I get is “hey can I get your tattoo guys number”. So thanks Dave! I’ll be seeing you soon! Let’s book another 4 hours soon!

Though it was a piece in a delicate place and complicated, David handled the tattoo, and me, with care, compassion, and a good deal of humor. David is an amazing artist and business owner. His artistic ability and vision allow his tattoos to be unique and tailored to his clients. I have had approximately 20 hours of tattoos done from David over the last 10 years and each session is a professional, personal, and enjoyable experience. The staff are always friendly and helpful in making the appointments and making sure you are comfortable. The shop environments are welcoming and conducive for all clients.

We were impressed with our experience overall at BlueByrd. Communication was easy and professional from our call to book an appointment to texting to get everything set up to the moment we walked in and were greeted and welcomed. It was an easy process and the artist working with us, Tay, really made us feel at ease by responding to questions, asking for feedback and assuring we were comfortable throughout the process. We were impressed with his attention to detail not only with regard to design, but mainly with regard to assuring the environment was super clean and sanitary.

William was amazing! I went in for daith piercings for medical reasons as I am a chronic daily headache & migraine sufferer. He was very knowledgeable, experienced, & answered all my questions. He was quick & efficient in the piercings, checking with me to make sure I was doing well throughout. Was very thorough in aftercare. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for piercing.

Wonderful experience, Cody is a great artist who works for a fair price. The shop is clean relaxed and comfortable. There was never any pressure to rush though the tattoo and all of my requests where met. Cody went beyond giving me a run of the mill tattoo and truly took my idea and made it one of a kind.

We were visiting some family from the Dayton area and called at the last minute and was told to come right down to discuss our ideas (my husband and I). Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by Tay Caldwell. He took my idea and plenty of time with me to create the most beautiful piece of art! He communicated every step of the way until the tattoo was finished to his satisfaction and mine! (he even called me back to add a finishing touch at no charge just to make it more PERFECT). In addition to my extreme happiness, my husband was also extremely pleased with his tattoo that Tay coordinated to accommodate our time crunch. Shea stepped right in to help and also did an excellent job with his tattoo. Thank you to both of you!!! We will be back!!

Love my piercings and love the woman who did it, but I wish she would move shops.Everything before the actual appointment needs to be improved. I called the store two days in a row and left a message. No one returned my call.Sent a message on their Facebook page. No response.Showed up to the Miamisburg location after booking through the (apparently not regularly updated) website because thats what was listed on the bio. Nope. We were at the wrong location, so we went all the way back to Wayne.Again, I love her and I loved my piercings, but she might be the only reason I come back.Review Amended:Information on the bio and information for scheduling was conflicting on the website. One link does give a day-by-day breakdown concerning which shop artists are working at. However, the link for the bio says at our Miamisburg location which must have been where the confusion came from. Again, no hate to my awesome piercer. Just wish communication returning messages had been as fast as the response to this review.

Had my nose pierced by Liz back in march, she was absolutely fantastic, the space was very clean, she calmed my nerves, and educated me on how to properly take care of my new piercing. I’ll definitely go to Liz for any piercings.

I was immediately greeted upon walking into the shop and directed to someone who could help me. I presented a design idea and received feedback that helped perfect the image. I was told about the process for scheduling and left to think about what I would do. I returned later to schedule and was offered same day service because of a cancellation. The environment was welcoming and clean. Tay was very invested in providing me with the tattoo I wanted and I’m more than pleased with the outcome. I never considered I’d want more than one tattoo, but I’m already thinking about another one. If I do get another one, I’ll see if Tay is available to do it, too. Positive experience overall!

I got my cartilage pierced at Blue Byrd and had the best experience. The thing that has stood out though has been the healing process. I’ve gotten my cartilage pierced 3 other times (not from here) and they’ve all ended up getting problems however I’ve had no issues with this one. Will be back!

I got some work done here by Kristen and not only did I love the peice but It also healed better then any of my previous work. Kristen was so nice and friendly and an absolute pleasure yo work with and I will be going back for much of my future work

We are from out of town and try to get some art when we travel. Well we read the reviews on here and gave them a call. We figured we could stop in give them some ideas and plan on the next day. They gave us to Scott and as he was bouncing ideas of us, he showed my wife a picture that he had drawn. It was perfect. Gave us a good price and started the tat. Bruh, I love Shea. He’s a great artist and funny. He probably thought I was a dits but the point is, he did a walk-in tattoo for me. I was in and out in 30 minutes. I will definitely return. I moved up from Oxford about 1.5 years ago and my artist is located there. I’ve been looking for a closer artist that met the same vibe I have. Definitely will return to Shea for future appointments.

I went to get my septum piercing changed & my usual piercer Liz who works at their miamisburg location was on vacation & they recommended I go to their wayne ave location. Now ever since Liz pierced me ive only had one other place change my piercing & they messed it up. Ive learned not to let anyone but Liz touch my face lol...but I was so happy with William!! The staff there was also friendly & I immediately felt welcomed. Thank you so much William. If anyone is looking for piercers that know what theyre doing, professional, knowledgeable & friendly...do not go anywhere but Blue Bryd!! PERIODT!!!

Had an appt with Chris at 2, arrived at 1:45 at the shop and he was not there. Called me at 2:05 to tell me to reschedule, and no sketch had been drawn up yet. Other artists listened to my tattoo idea and said they would call me in an hour or so to sketch and get tattooed...Received no call. I am completely turned off with the entire shop, their artwork looks great, but their work ethic sucks. I took my business elsewhere...Truth and Triumph.

Went about a month ago and got my nipples pierced. The staff was super friendly/professional and it was reasonably priced. My piercings have healed great, definitely going back here for all future piercing.

They like to over charge an they try to say it would take long then what I got my tattoo done for. Go some where else. An this is for your comments your guy try to say the tattoo I wanted would take 4 sitting an thats a joke got it done in one 8 hour. An yours guy said 12 hours thats a joke scam artist. It cool your guys loss on $900. But to everyone that trying to go here hit me up before hand an I send you to some one better an better price an he has awards for tattooing.

My boyfriend & I came into Blue Byrd to get his nose pierced & William fixed my botched medusa piercing (for free) that I got done at another shop earlier in the day. He informed me the bar used was way too short & that a vein was punctured when it was pierced. Thank God i came into Blue Byrd before it got extremely swollen & gross, because I would have had no clue otherwise. Really really wish I would have came here originally to get it done. He was calm & reassuring when it turned into a bloody mess thanks to original piercer. Thank you so much William for fixing someone elses mistake, cant appreciate you enough....boyfriend also loves his new nose piercing!! :)

David Klaiber and the crew at BlueByrd are excellent to work with. David did a cover up on what I suspected would have been an impossible fix and he killed it. The cover up is better than most peoples tattoos. BlueByrd was accommodating in everyday and David was very responsive and helpful throughout the process. I highly recommend. Best tattoo place in Ohio.

Terrible with scheduling and communication. As someone who’s going to spend money it would be professional to communicate effectively with them and not give them the run around. There should be an online scheduling system or something instead of relying on DM to get on the books. Contacted one artist, Kristen told her what I wanted and then she ghosted. Contacted kieran who dm extremely delayed I Even asked if there was a better way for us to contact her and no response. They obviously have very poor people working here who don’t Care about communicating . Good luck to those who actually get on the schedule.

Came in for a walk-in this afternoon and i love it! shea started working with me as soon as i walked in and was very helpful, and was very patient with me while i took forever to decide on placement. the tattoo itself is great and i’m very, very happy with it!

I made an appointment to touch up a tattoo I had gotten over ten years ago. The shop was really flexible in allowing me to book with the artist I wanted and I was able to get in fairly quickly. My tattoo looks so much better now. I most definitely will come back again! Thanks David!

This place was recommended to me to get my daughters ears pierced. As I had my ears pierced years ago (and at some mall place), I called ahead to figure out if I needed earrings, etc. The gal who answered the phone told me they had all the equipment. When we showed up, the gentleman who was up front told me I needed to have proof of ID for her--which how they meet an Ohio law for ensuring random folks arent taking your kids in to get their ears pierced. Additionally, turned out we could bring in our own quality earrings to be sterilized and used so the holes would be the right size for earrings vice body piercing jewelry. The gentleman was very helpful and provided all the info I needed, but I wish Id gotten all that info the first time when I had made the effort to call and check. We ended up going somewhere else closer to home.

10/10 must go to Liz if you need any piercings! She has been incredibly helpful. Can not say enough good things about her and this location!

I got my first tattoo from David Klaiber, the owner of Blue Byrd Tattoo Dayton, a fairly large rib piece, which can hurt quite a bit. David did his best to talk me through the pain and keep my mind off of it, while simultaneously doing an absolutely amazing piece of art, I definitely recommend this shop to anyone and everyone!

Hannah did my second lobe pericings and she was very professional and quick. I was nervous but she made me feel better and I went about my day. Thanks again BBT!

Liz did my nose piercing about a month ago and I have not had one problem with it. Great job, easy in and out appointment and pleased with the results.

No tattoo yet. Just stopped in to scout out the place & consult with an artist. The place was very clean and look to be well-organized. I got 2 tattoos from Blue Byrd. One of them looks great, but I am quite disappointed with the other one. I even went back to have it touched up. The color was great, but the line work looks like the artist was having tremors or something... I am going somewhere else to have that one redone.

ZERO STAR I WANTED TO PROVIDE.1. Expensive and not totally worth, for small work they charge a LOT and cry that they are being asked to work a lot2. No clarity in what is asked3. Im not sure if they are really artists having any ideas of design and tattoo. Very very poor creativity4. Cant understand what we are trying to say and putting the ball in other court.I simply wasted more than 100$ for a useless tattoo made by an unknown tattoo artist.Ill never go here again and Ill not reccomend any of my friends to go here.

Ive been here 3 or 4 times. The people are typically rude (Ive had maybe 1 nice person), but the work is good quality. Probably the best piercers in town. Id recommend another location.

Blue Byrd tattoos are the best!!! They are non judgmental and theyre amazing at what they do! Its also a very clean place and its cheap compared to how amazing their work is.

Unlike the real good artist that charge by the piece this is another shop full of hipsters that charge 100 an hour save your money. I know for a fact glenn Scotts stores are only $40 minimum and priced based on the work.Also the artist I had here, some straight edge douchebag just kept head banging and air drumming to his crappy music and wasting time Im paying forAnd honestly I only came here because I just got off work I wanted some new ink and they were open. My work looks fine but for its size I should have only been charged 60 at the most. Just another store that cared more about the money then the art

It was now 215 and he was sitting at the desk helping someone else and still said nothing to me so I left. Never again will I go back there. Unprofessional as hell.
