Proton Tattoo

Love this place. Its been a few years now since I had my tattoo done by Chris May. Color and lines have held up beautifully. Planning everything was a breeze and communication was great. Definitely will be going back once I have the extra money to do so. I always recommend Proton to anyone looking for work. You wont be disappointed.

The best tattoo experience I have ever had. Tattoo shops can be intimidating and uncomfortable but my experience here was the complete opposite even going alone. Grant was so nice and made me feel safe as did the environment as a whole. The artists seem to be uplifting and positive especially with customers. Nothing but good things to say about the artists as well as the shop.

I got this amazing bouquet tattoo from Evelyn as part of her October flash special to benefit safe passage (an amazing idea). She was super fast and great to work with, and I love the end result. I previously got two smaller tattoos from her and love those too. I will definitely go to her for my next idea!

I received my most favorite tattoo from Protons, a gorgeous fairy on a flower on the outside of my calf, in black ink. Jon was my artist, and his work was excellent, perfect clean lines and shading, I receive complements all the time. Its quite a few years old now but looks just as fresh as when I first got it. While there I got to watch several other talented artists working. Highly recommend this shop. It has a great atmosphere as well. I was very comfortable.

I’ve been to Proton a few times and always love the environment. This last time i went for a flash supporting domestic violence awareness started by artist Evie. Not only was the art promoting something giving back to the community, but the art was perfect! Evie has a very light hand when tattooing and does amazing work! My tattoo healed perfectly and i am IN LOVE with it! Thank you so much Evie and Proton!!

This tatoo place is so worth it!! I had 3 tattoos done in one day and it was the most pleasant experience. They are so professional and friendly. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Everyone in the shop is super nice and chill. Great atmosphere. I have been tattooed by Chris May several times and everytime he blows it out of the park. Everytime I tell him an idea that I want to do he draws it up and executes a tattoo that is absolutely mind blowing. He has one of the most creative brains in the game. 10/10 recommend coming here for any of your tattoo/piercing needs.

My first tattoo with Proton tattoo was November 2021. I was so impressed with the friendly staff and cleanliness of their work stations. I have since been back and received 5 more tattoos this year (2022) and Im planning a few more in the upcoming year.

Proton was where I got my first tattoo and will forever be my tattoo place when Im asked where I get my work done. They always match my sketches perfectly and give some great input on making them even better, no matter what size. Friendly, accommodating, and just a cool place to get some awesome work done. Cant wait to go back!

Evelyn is awesome! She is so sweet and a great artist. She has a light hand and is super chill and down to Earth. 100% my favorite artist Ive had in the last 25 years. The shop as a whole is a great place. Highly recommend!

Chris May did my half sleeve a number of years ago and it still looks as vibrant as ever (I often get stopped on the street by people asking where I got it done). He took my requests, and made it into a wearable work of art which I cherish. Ill keep coming back for more.

I love this shop so much. Got my very first tattoo on my 18th birthday by Aaron. Continued to come back to Aaron for my right arm sleeve. Chris has also tattooed me a handful of times. I’ve also received 9 piercings from their piercer Mike. I’ve experienced nothing but professionalism and damn near perfection from this place. I would let anyone at Proton tattoo me and I can’t wait to get my next piece!

Evelyn did a wonderful job! My sister and I both got tattoos to commemorate the passing of a family member. She turned a sad feeling day into laughter, and her artwork was fantastic. Great vibe and will be back again in the future. Thanks Evelyn!

I got my first tattoo with Chris May when they were in Cortland.I have have over 20 tattoo by the artists at the Proton studios. They do great work and always are professional.

Just got my first tattoo done by Erin Boyle and I couldnt be happier! Everyone here is very professional and informative as well. I had set an appointment a couple weeks ago and on the day of the appointment my wife decided she wanted to get one as well. They were able to fit her in that day too! I will be coming back and getting another tattoo! Thanks to Erin for giving me such a great piece of art!

Just had a coverup done on March 1. I’ve waited since 2019 to get this tattoo covered up and I just want to cry because the coverup is AMAZING and we haven’t even added color yet. CHRIS I love youuuuuuu! Haha you are so amazing at your craft. I was so nervous, this tattoo turned out exceptional! Thank you for having patience with me as well.

Evelyn did an amazing job on my tattoo!! I love it. She was able to get me in quick. She did great detail work and shading on my back. The tattoo is about hand size and I was done in under 2 hours. Thanks Evelyn. I will definitely be scheduling with her in the future!!

Love Proton and their staff, there are plenty of tattoo places closer to home but it is worth the drive to Proton, they have done 3 of my tattoos and will be doing the rest as well. Picture is of my most recent in fall 2022

Aside from laughing my way through almost all of my tattoos from Proton (since every artist there is incredibly social with a great sense of humor) I have never been more proud of the killer artwork I leave with! I wish I could give them more than 5 stars, honestly!

Chris May has done most of my forearm but today he outdid himself. I love this piece!The shop is great, everyone is pretty friendly,definitely a good place for a first timer.They have plenty of interesting stuff of the walls,,,something to look at too take your mind of the needle.Definitely give them a shot, and very much worth a drive.

I have gotten 4 tattoos at Proton over the last 15 years and I love all of them. Chris is an amazing artist who has managed to turn my vague ideas into beautiful works of art. The shop is always clean and feels like a welcoming environment. Every staff member Ive met was very helpful and pleasant. Cant wait to go back again!

Everyone in the shop is great. I got my first professional tattoo there and had a great experience as a walk in and was tattooed immediately. April is my favorite. she remembers you and checks up on your work the next time you come in. she also knows just how to get my image right exactly every time! i’ve gotten my nose piercing and had a great experience with Mike Gear as well. he did my placement great and pierced with good quality jewelry that i still like to use sometimes. everything has healed very well with instructions from each artist.

Ive received two tattoos from two different artists from Proton and love both! One no longer works there, but my second tattoo was from April and shes incredible. She was quick to respond, designed a great tattoo for me and the scheduling was quick and painless. 10/10 would 100% recommend.

I started my journey with Proton about 8 months back. My first tat at Proton was a Chris May Original, Jam Box Possum. He was quick to respond and get me booked, and then put an amazing color piece on my whole side of the leg. Since then Ive had Chris put 2 more big, fully original, and Id say incredibly unique, great designs on me. His creativity is unmatched. Ive also been tatted by Dustin, Jeffrey, and Grant (3 very talented artist) out at Proton. Ive had 8 tats from Proton in the last 8 months, and with that has encouraged my brother to get his own 9 as well.Everywhere I go, I recieve compliments on my tats. Ive seen incredible work from every artist out there; Even if I have not been personally been tatted by them.Everyone at Proton is nice, caring, incredibly talented, professional, and all around just good people. Youll leave with an amazing tattoo, but you will also get a great experience. All in a clean shop.

My experience with Proton has been amazing. I had a back/shoulder tattoo designed and done at the birth of my daughter 12 years ago. Chris did it in 2 sessions and it looks as amazing now as it did then. The hours I spent getting the tattoo flew by, as Chris is as much an entertainer as he is an artist. He gave me everything I needed to know as far as care and maintenance. I would highly recommend his work.

Ive had multiple artists tattoo me from Proton over the years. My first tattoo was done here about 15 years ago and I get compliments on it to this day. Ive had them do custom pieces to walk in flash art; these artists never disappoint! I live in St Louis and will gladly travel the 300+ miles to visit this shop. The atmosphere and experience is top notch. I highly recommend Proton Tattoo!

Ive been coming to Proton Tattoo since the Cortlnad days when it was only 2 rooms and 2 or 3 artists... oh how far yall have come! All the artist are amazing and really cool guys. Over 90% of my work has been done by Chris or Aaron and Ive never been left unsatisfied. Ive been recommending them to people for 14 years now and will continue to promote them for the rest of my life. Keep up the good work fellas!

I had a great experience at Proton! They did my first and second tattoos in 2013 and 2014. They were kind and calm during my tattoos. And when I told them that it was my first, they were great about walking me through everything they were doing to make sure I was okay and comfortable. I’ve been wanting to go back and get another tattoo from them for years. I just haven’t had the time or money! Hopefully in the future I can return to them for all future tattoos because the ones I got that weren’t from them, aren’t as great! I highly recommend proton for their kindness and professionalism! :)

I love Proton! I trusted them 11 years ago with my first tattoo. They were super nice and made me feel comfortable from finding and working with an artist to getting the actual tattoo. When I worked at the DeKalb Library, Chris was awesome enough to partner with us at our annual Star Wars event several years in a row by making and applying custom designed temporary tattoos for kids, teens, and adults! He was great to work with and I received many compliments on using a real tattoo artist for what would have otherwise been a lackluster station at the event. Highly recommended!

I absolutely love proton! I’ve gotten five tattoos there in the past year by Jeffery and he did amazing! I know for sure I’ll be coming back for more. Not only do they do an amazing job everyone there is so welcoming and friendly, I inspire to be an artist myself one day and proton has been my inspiration. Chris May did my first ever tattoo and it turned out absolutely gorgeous! Better than I could have imagined! He made me comfortable the entire appointment. He really took his time and didn’t rush it. I always get compliments every time someone sees it! If you’re looking for a tattoo artist I highly recommend Chris May, he is amazing!

Ive been tattooed several times at Proton by a couple different people and its always a great experience. A lot of tattoo shops have a lot of big egos flying around making it uncomfortable for customers sometimes. Ive never felt that way here. Everyone is always chill and super helpful. Quality is top notch with some of the best artists in Northern IL here. Also, Chris is hilarious so thats a big plus. I always recommend this shop when people ask me where to go!

I have been going to Proton for 15 years! Best around! Everyone makes you feel welcome. My first tattoo was at the Cortland location years ago, it’s great seeing them expand and create these new spaces. I love bringing my ideas and watch what my artist comes up with. Ive been a proton customer for several years. All three of my tattoos have been done at proton and I plan to get many more done here. I got my first tattoo at 18 here, I just recently got my third tattoo for my 27th birthday. Ive recommended proton to all my family and friends because over the years they have always provided amazing work and great customer service. My most recent tattoo was with Grant who did an amazing job, he was super kind and I cant wait to partner with him for several more. Proton has exceptional employees both in skill and in customer service, so if you are looking for a tattoo or piercing I highly recommend coming here.

I went to Proton Tattoo in Jan 2023 and my artist was Dustin Hardcastle. Im very pleased with the work he did. Hes an amazing artist. The studio is clean, tattoos affordable and the staff is super friendly. I made an appt and got in and out but people were also doing walk-ins and I noticed how attentive the staff was to the clients. I would highly recommend this tattoo shop, its full of talented artists that will have you leaving happy as hell with your tattoo!!

Got two of my favorite tattoos at this shop,my grim reaper blowing bubbles, and mother nature making ghosts. I came in with some what of a idea on what i wanted and left with super badass tattoos each time. They where so helpful and friendly. And didnt get mad when i asked to change things ( i have experienced that with other shops). would highly recommend! Very chill atmosphere with very cool artists.

Very accommodating, good work and overall awesome experience. Bicep and shoulder tattoo look as good as they did 10 years ago and hand and wrist, despite wear and tear still look solid.

I got my very first tattoo at Proton almost 15 years ago! But once you pop, you just cant stop and Ive been back half a dozen times since. Dustin Hardcastle did most of my work, and I highly recommend him. Everything from delicate lilies on my back to a more traditional compass rose on my thigh. Chris May stepped in to do an addition to one of my tats when Dustin wasnt available and he is awesome, too. These guys are so great I brought in several friends, family members, and my eventual husband. Proton is a gem and Dekalb is lucky to have such a high quality shop.

I got a tattoo done by grant. Im am absolutely in love with it. The color is amazing 😍 and I love the shading also. Plus he was very gentle while doing the tattoo. Evelyn was able to replicate, Id say exact replica, of a signature I had on a CD. It was for an artist that I have followed for a long time, so it meant alot that it was so precise and clean. She even gave it a sharpie look. She was very kind, professional, and was an excellent choice. Ive seen her do other work from the shop, and on people I know; shes always great and the tattoos are always super high quality. Most definitely recommend. + Very clean environment 👌

My father passed away, very quickly after being diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer in 2017. I went into Proton the day after my dad’s funeral, with fingerprints of my dad’s. The tattoo artists there were very honest with me, letting me know that they would tattoo his fingerprints on me. However they did let know that I would not be happy with the tattoo over time. That it could fade and stretch over time, so it would no longer look like my father’s fingerprints. I was heartbroken. After some thought, I decided on a wave tattoo across my upper shoulders, to represent all that wonderful memories of spending time with my father near / or in water. My tattoo is beautiful. It also has my dad’s bday were the wave begins and the date of his death were the wave ends. I am forever grateful for the honest, professionalism, and respect that everyone at Proton showed me that day. Adding to that sentiment, my daughter got her first tattoo Proton, which was a replication of a rose from my dad / her grandfather’s funeral. Again the staff at Proton were kind, honest, and her tattoo is perfect! Thank you for Proton Tattoo for two awesome tattoos in memory of my dad.

I’ve wanted tattoos for as long as I could remember and as soon as I turned 18 I decided to go to my local tattoo shop Proton.. I knew a guy named Chris May who participated on Ink Master owned it so his team had to be crazy, I was greeted by Jeffery who gave me 3 out of the 7 tattoos I currently have. Jeffery, Dustin, and Grant gave me my tattoos there and I couldn’t have loved the environment more, they’re all such cool guys and Proton is the place to go!!💉

Proton was the second shop I received a tattoo at, and I loved them so much I continued travelling back to them after I moved out of state. Their work has set the standard for what I look for in shops and artists. I still regularly get compliments on work that Chris did over 15 years ago, so their work stands the test of time.

I saw Mike for my nose ring and a week later I went back to see April for my first tattoo. Now Im filling my sleeve and this is my favorite place to go. So friendly and so willing to work with all their clients! Happy they were able to move to a bigger space to continue to grow!

Got both my daith piercings done here a few months apart and they’re perfect! Mike is the best! He was super easy to talk to and highly experienced. Patiently answered all my questions and never tried to up-sell me.

I went there to get a memorial tattoo for my mom, a beautiful dragonfly. Most of my family came with me, this was before Covid. The tattoo artist took his time making sure my dragonfly was lined up the way I wanted and I picked out the colors. The tattoo was vivid and full of life just the way my mom was. I got my first ever tattoo here a few years back, a flower of life on my back done by Erin Boyle who has now gone to Chicago to continue her career. But then got my second tattoo done here as well, a Lord of the Rings tattoo on my right calf, done by April High, who still works at Proton. Both of my tattoos were done perfect and I have nothing but great things to say about this shop and everyone who works there. Cant wait to make my appointment soon for my third tattoo!!

Having a nationally renowned artist of Mays caliber in the northern Illinois area is truly a blessing. When people in the Rockford/Dekalb area ask me for recommendations, Chris and Proton are ALWAYS the first names I offer.

I received a tattoo from proton and really enjoyed my experience there. The shop is very nice, comfortable, welcoming, and clean. Everyone there is friendly. It is the only tattoo shop I will go to now in DeKalb because of this experience. Erin Boyle was my artist and she did a great job!

Chris did a coverup portrait of my grandmother below my clavicle bone. He made the original tattoo look like my beautiful grandmother. I now feel 100% confident in wearing a tank top again. I got a portrait of my grandmother done by a different tattoo artist (not from Proton Tattoo). When the piece was done my heart broke. My grandmother looked like she was melting. I cant thank Chris enough for fixing my grandma. He was very friendly, had a nice conversation, and considering the placement of the tattoo he also was very respectful. I have been back to Proton for more tattoos and highly recommend them for your next tattoo.

I had powder brows done by Evie the other day and she was AMAZING. Not only do my eyebrows look perfect, but I didn’t feel a thing. I have gotten so many compliments and definitely recommend her. She took the time to make sure that every little detail was perfect.

Over all I loved my experience with proton, I got my second tattoo there back in august by Jeff. They environment I calm and friendly, all of the artists were patient and nice. And Jeff did such an amazing job with the tattoo. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone in the Dekalb area that wants a really nice tattoo.

I chose to go to proton for my first tattoo on my 18th birthday because after looking at other reviews, I wanted to give it a shot and have my first tattoo memorable and the staff was very nice and my artist walked me through the steps of what she was going to do next so that I wasn’t so nervous. She checked up on me all throughout giving me the tattoo. Highly recommend!

Chris May, you are a true madman. I came to you with virtually no idea of what I wanted, all I knew is that I wanted my tattoo to be done by you. After following you for a few years now, I finally pulled the trigger and set up an appointment with you and I was not disappointed at all. I said I wanted something weird. Black. Lots of teeth. Super laid back guy, no hassle, and you were completely straight forward and honest with me about pricing. I showed up in person, and you insulted me about my size (joking), and lowered the price of my tattoo even though I was willing to spend significantly more regardless. Thank you for being honest and not just taking me for my money. No wonder you’ve been in business for 20 years. Keep doing weird stuff.

I was tattooed at proton multiple times throughout my years living in DeKalb. Proton studio has always been absolutely amazing. Their staff is extremely welcoming. It’s always a good time at Proton. I’ve loved watching their studio grow and thrive in the community throughout the years!

Had a great experience as a walk in with Dustin. Got there right as they opened and was able to get in for my tattoo very quickly. Very happy with the work done. And my daughter loves that her name is on my arm now with her favorite flower.

Proton has been my number one tattoo and piercing place. I just recently got. Memorial tattoo for my grandmother that just passed away. I dont think I would have gone any were else for it. I have also in the past have gotten piercings done here and Mike it super kind and knowledgeable about the whole process. He will make you feel comfortable about your first piercing or your 20th.

I have only used Proton since moving to the area for all my inking needs. Chris has done 2 amazing cover ups for me, as well as a memorial paw-print. I had other artists complete other tattoos for me as well. This is the only place I suggest to friends.

I went to proton for powder brows. I was looking for something more natural with a defined shape. I have always struggled with drawing in my brows. It used to take me forever. I got my brows done by Evelyn. She was super sweet. She created an amazing color and shape for my brows. It has made doing my brows in the morning so easy. I save so much time. I am also able to just walk out of the house without doing them. Everyone is super friendly and I highly recommend this service

When my best friend came up from Florida, Chris May did our matching leg tattoos. He did awesome. I recommend Proton Tattoo to everyone I know. My son in law even went there for his first tattoo.

I went to proton tattoo in october to get my first tattoo and the experience was amazing! i was so nervous to go but my tattoo artist was amazing she stoped after the first line to make sure i was okay which was amazing she was super nice and made my first tattoo experience amazing! i will now only go to proton for tattoos because of how amazing the staff is and the work they do!

My 3rd time being to this shop and its always amazing they now are in a much bigger space as well. Evelyns done two of my tattoos now and is a great artist and very quick! :) definitely recommend going to her

I got my first tattoo from Evelyn, and she was amazing! I gave her a pretty basic description, and she came up with a gorgeous design. She was also extremely friendly and made the whole experience very relaxing. I highly recommend seeing her.

I have been going to to Proton since they used to be out in Cortland. I always go to either Jon or Chris for my work. They are both cool dudes who are highly skilled. I can tell the difference in quality between their work and the other local tattoo shops and I recommend Proton over all the rest. If you are going to put something on your body forever it only makes since to go to the best. The shop is sterile and has a cool rock and roll atmosphere. Appointments can usually be made within 2 weeks and prices are reasonable. I feel like if you give them more artistic freedom, sit well, and are a good client you will receive great work for an exceptional price

Ive been getting tattoos at Proton Tattoo for the last 20 years. Ive gotten tattooed at every location that theyve been open, and cant wait to get tattooed at the new location. Chris May is amazing and I recommend ALL of the artists at Proton Tattoo.

I called to see if someone could help me with a cover up idea and asked if I could send a picture (because I live out of town) and they told me I needed to come in. I drive all the way there and the person who told me to come in literally just took a picture of my tattoo and sent me home. I asked to see some of their work and they casually brushed it off and showed me nothing, then proceeded to try and convince me to keep my current tattoo instead of coming up with cover up ideas. When I walked into the shop, there were a bunch of guys just sitting around doing nothing and no one asked me if I needed help. I had to stand there awkwardly for 5 minutes first. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

I’ve had 5 tattoos done here. One by owner Jon and the rest by owner Chris. Both have done beautiful work for me. They make you feel very comfortable and are very caring during the whole process. One of my tattoos was a cover up and you would never know, it is absolutely beautiful.Not to mention, the shop is so clean and all the other artists and employees make you feel welcome.Thanks guys!

First off Id like to say Congratulations to you and John!!!Ive received a Tattoo from John just months after opening (Great Cover up) in Cortland on Somomauk rd. When you moved to RT 38 in Cortland I received a couple more lol. Then when you made the move to the big city of Dekalb thats where I received a few more tattoos that really mean a lot to me. Protons was able to do them right away with no appointment needed. I try to refer Protons anytime I can, word of month is the best Advertisement.Good luck with the next 275 years!!

Protons is always my first suggestion when anyone asks opinions on shops in the area. Always a good vibe in there, no matter what youre looking for theres an artist who can most likely help you out. 4 of my 5 tattoos are from here and thats where Ill get the rest, without a doubt.

Im pretty much covered in tattoos, and Ive gotten them from many different places over the years. Proton is by far the best shop Ive been to. The most recent tattoo I got here was actually a cover up of a tattoo I had pretty much given up hope on ever having fixed. The person (from a shop I wont name) who originally did the tattoo left a lot of scar tissue, and a lot of really dark colors that arent easy to cover up.Chris sat down with me, and within minutes had a rough sketch that would not only cover up the old one, but also beautifully incorporate some existing tattoos I have in the same area.When I showed up for my appointment Chris was ready to go, and had the stencil on me within minutes of walking into the door. During the tattoo, we had some really awesome conversations and I got a chance to really take in the scenery. This shop has some of the coolest artwork adorning the walls Ive ever seen.Four hours later (its a big tattoo) I couldnt believe how well the new tattoo covered up the old one - and how it doesnt even look like a cover up.Cleanliness, professionalism, real artists, great atmosphere, fun charismatic staff - this place is hands down the best tattoo shop Ive been to and the only one I will trust with any future tattoos I get.

I walked into this shop a week or two ago to set up an appointment to do a cover up for my best friends wedding Ill be standing in at the end of August. Even though they are a high demand shop they got me in within a week and it was a 7 hour appointment. When I first came in I didnt have an artist in mind just anyone that would be available soon. My artist was Chris May. After we got just over half way through the tattoo I had a little burst of crying because it hurt so bad. The original tattoo I got the artist didnt go in very far so I wasnt use to having this done even though I thought I was. Chris was so nice about it he took a few breaks with me and even borrowed some lidocaine spray from Erin to help numb me. Thank you Erin! That spray was the reason I could sit there for the last couple hours and get it all finished. Everyone here is amazing and I saw some other artists tattooing as well and all the tattoos I saw were just amazing! Ill be going back to Chris after the wedding to get a little more done on it but I am beyond impressed with the work and the artists! They truly care about their customers and make sure you have a great experience! If I get more tattoos in my life Ill be sure to come to Proton Tattoo! Oh and I LOVE my new tattoo! My goal when I got the original was I wanted a piece of art on me that I could display proudly and now thanks to Chris I have exactly that! I wish I could attach pictures to show my before and after! Ill be easy to recognize though just look for the girl wearing tank tops in winter from now on! ❤❤❤

This wasnt my first time at Proton but its been several years since my last visit and this was my first experience with Chris May and he was just so great! On top of the fact that he got me in last minute and came up with a great solution to a problem I had but he also has an awesome personality and I really enjoyed my time there! Phenomenal place for tattoos. Aaron is my favorite! I now have 2 tattoos done by him. He just did a cover-up on my forearm, and his artistry exceeded my expectations! Such a cool guy, and an awesome place. Definitely worth the drive for us.

I have gotten three big, bold, beautiful tattoos by Dustin, Chris and Aaron in the past few years. Ive also been tattooed by Em Becker and Nate Corder while they visited the shop. Every time I am treated with respect, charged an unbelievably reasonable amount, the shop is impeccably clean, and all the staff is friendly.Ive gotten several piercings by the piercer as well, he is amazing. Gets the job done right the first time, unlike any of the other piercers around town.

Chris May gave me my butterfly tattoo on my shoulder, he went out of his way to make me feel comfortable and relaxed. He was very friendly and I was very impressed with the quality of his work.

I came to Proton Tattoo to get my earlobes pierced. I was nervous and Mike made the experience a breeze. Mike was knowledgeable about piercings and had no issues with piercing my scarred ear (as a child my earlobe was ripped and I received stitches). Overall, enjoyed my experience and I am happy with my piercing!

Kudos to Evie Bacopulos’ work/testament to her skill…I went for shoulder surgery a week and a half ago. They were trying to figure out where to put the leads for monitoring since it had to be lower (so they could access the shoulder). I said they could put it over nipple if need be since there’s no nipple there, and everyone seemed surprised since they looked real and brushed hands over top to confirm. I smirked before going to sleep

I had a piercing fall out from another shop and i called in if they could put it in for me, they said i could and i went in. When i got there the two guys working there greeted me and said i could come to the back. The piercer and i talked for a bit, he was really kind and helpful. They didnt charge me for this service but i tipped. I will be coming back.

Chris did both of my tattoos. One from a childs drawing and one of my favorite flowers. I love the outcome. They both turned out great!

Piercing expert is just that, an expert in his field. He has great advice on caring for fresh piercings, listen to it if you are getting one. Location is colorful and clean. These people obviously care for their workspace and their occupation, it shows!

The first tattoo I received here has not faded, and it was a number of years ago. The next was on my finger, which Im constantly washing my hands and doing dishes (no gloves) and it still looks great.

Seemed like a nice shop looking at reviews and online representation. Being from out of town and away from my home shop I needed to purchase some specific jewelry in a little bit of an emergency, based on that I chose to try here first. Upon entering they made me feel out of place and uncomfortable and said they could not help me with purchasing jewelry until a piercer was in(despite me knowing exactly what I was in need of and wanting to purchase it walk out, to put it in myself). Being somewhat of an emergency and feeling unwelcome, I found help elsewhere!

I’ve worked with Jon and Aaron. Highly recommended both. The shop made everything easy. Worked around your schedule and budget. Can’t wait to get more work done with this shop!!

My daughter and girlfriend went in for my daughter to get a tattoo and it was going to be her first tattoo of her grandmother that passed away and they told her that she was wasting their time because she wanted to know if the placement of the tattoo would still look good over time. I do not understand why people need to be rude. This is someones first tattoo; therefore, they will have questions.

On the day of my appointment, he had my design ready to go (it was gorgeous), and made sure I was happy with the design and placement before we began.The tattoo went smoothly, the workstation was clean, and Jon was a true professional as he worked for almost 4 hours to see my tattoo to completion. His artistry and skill speak for themselves.Highly recommend.

Came in for a walk in and honestly this was probably the worst shop I have ever been to. Artist took SEVERAL smoke breaks even though he was doing a palm size tattoo, he was also very rude during the process. The pain he caused while tattooing was unbearable and caused severe scarring.

Barbie messed up my tattoo now I have to spend several grand lasering it off and another couple thousand to get it redone. Worst artist ever.I also went to a different artist, cant remember his name. Asked him if he wanted to do a tat for me. He didnt. Instead of telling me no he told me he would do it then proceeded not to answer any of my calls.This place is a disgrace to tattoo artist.
