Lotus Tattoo Studio

By far the best tattoo studio west of Nashville! I have been a returning client of Heather for years. When you walk in the studio, you dont feel like a client. You feel like a friend. Everyone in there welcomes you with a smile and will carry on a conversation. Each artist goes above and beyond to design and draw out exactly what you have envisioned. Ive attached my quarter sleeve work in progress. Heather has taken a few old pieces she has done in the past, added a few new and is tying them all together to complete exactly what I have in mind.

I cannot say enough GOOD things about Lexy! She is such a talented artist, and an even better human.I pitched her an idea, gave her total creative control and when she showed me her design, it blew me away. The final tattoo was far better than anything I had pictured it in my head.Lexy is SO kind, too. Shes really easy to talk to and does a great job at making you feel comfortable the entire time youre on her table. She keeps conversation going during her sessions, or allows for a lull if thats your preference. She doesnt force anything, but is genuinely engaged with her clients when youre talking together. We talked about everything from our families, to horror movies.I drove an hour to have her tattoo me, and will be returning again in the future if that says anything!*Its also worth noting that this shop is SUPER cute, with an inviting vibe. Its also very clean and organized. Some tattoo shops can be doom & gloom, but Lotus is the opposite of that!*

First time to get inked at Lotus. Had an outstanding review from a close family member.Visited with Johnny at the end of May. Took the first available session for over a month away.The shop was clean and well lighted. The staff were attentive and professional without being sticks in the mud. The artist area was clean, comfortable, and again well lighted. My art is not yet finished, it will take multiple sessions, so I’m not posting a picture today, however when it’s done I’ll post several.Johnny’s work for me is a cover-up of a complete sleeve. It’s focused, detailed, and clean. I’m looking forward to seeing this through to the finished product.Thanks to Johnny and the Lotus staff for a good and productive day in the chair.

I have gotten a few tattoos over the years now. Each one has been top quality- I still get asked if some of my early ones are new because they healed so beautifully! I’ve had work by Joel and Heather at two shops now, and the atmosphere has always been professional but chill, very clean, and everyone working there has been nothing short of pleasant. Heather has done most of mine from Lotus, and she puts such emphasis on making sure you get a piece that you love, and incorporates all your elements into it. Even though my work is near literally a dozen other shops, I am more than willing to make the hour+ drive to come to Lotus.

Autumn did an amazing job, I love my tattoo & I also loved my time in the shop with everyone. They’re all so friendly and the vibes are always the best. I will always recommend.

Spectacular would be the best word I could use when describing Lexy. She is such an outstanding tattoo artist, and person. She makes you feel so comfortable and at ease with the entire process of getting a tattoo. From the moment I walked in the shop(which has the best vibes) the entire crew was friendly and inviting. Lexy sit me down to go over some ideas she had for my cover-up, we had a great conversation on what was possible, then she went above and beyond my expectations with the art. I can’t recommend her enough, go see Lexy!!!

Had THE best experience at lotus with lexy!!! ive gotten a good handful of tattoos from her before and its always an incredible time, but she absolutely blew it out of the water with my most recent piece. i said two words to her about what i wanted and she exceeded my expectations (to the point where i literally cried when i saw my finished piece for the first time)! everyone in the studio was so friendly and fun to talk to! incredible vibes and incredible music taste which is always a huge plus! i will most definitely be back to see her as soon as humanly possible!!

Lotus is my absolute favorite place to get tattoos. The vibes are like going to your friends house for tea. I’ve had six tattoos done by Heather. 10/10. I’ve included a picture of my most recent, the bee. Also the flowers in the picture were done by her too!

Finally found a local tattoo shop that offers a welcoming, safe space for everyone! The shop is spotless, workspaces are very well maintained and cleaned often. The artists are all incredible humans who easily make you feel right at home the second you walk inside. Heather took so much time to make sure the piece was exactly what I was looking for. Heather went above and beyond for me and I have no doubt that she does this for all of her clients. Id give this shop 10 stars if I could. I highly recommend Lotus Tattoo. I’ve had 5 pieces done by Heather and each one has been exactly what I wished for. She listens, aims to make you feel comfortable, which isn’t always how I’ve felt in studios in the past, and as a woman I have always liked having female tattoo artists when possible. I fee anyone could feel safe and welcome being tattooed by her. And I’ve been to amazing shops al over the Nashville area. This is my favorite, we’re so lucky to have her here in our town!!! I have lots of great ideas lined up already for future pieces! Highly recommend!

Ive had a certain tattoo that Ive been wanting to get for a while and started shopping around for a local shop to do the work. I always try to do my homework by browsing through all the reviews to see what other people say. Lotus tattoo caught my eye because they have been in business in Dickson for so long and had extremely good reviews. So I gave them a try and I am very satisfied with the job Autumn did. She was very patient with me as I am pretty ocd on stuff,especially with something thats going to be permanent lol. She did a great job and I highly recommend her. My friend and I decided to get tattoos that mean something special to us when we come to dickson tn for our peaceful getaway. Autumn was the most kindest person with spot on talent to the tattoos we wanted. She saw us that very day as we were just walk- ins. It was a safe place that you felt welcomed at. I have been going to Lotus Tattoo for over a decade. Heather is a top notch tattoo artist and friend. Everyone who tattoos there are friendly and easy to talk with. Heather caters to her customers, makes you feel 100% comfortable with each and every session. The shop is very clean. You won’t see them lift a tattoo gun without first scrubbing hands and gloving up. Everything is covered with plastic prior to attaching. The environment is so laid back that it feels like you’re at home. You can tell Heather really loves designing her tattoo work and she puts ALOT of time behind the scenes to making that just for you piece of art work (wether it’s custom made or a piece found off the internet) I don’t go to anyone else. Heather, Joel, John, and Autumn are where it’s at!

Heather has done amazing work on the tattoos that she has done for me even the last one she did when I wasnt 100% sure what I wanted with the flower. Had people refer me to this place , and when we went we felt so welcomed and for it being my dads first tattoo heather definitely made it easier for him, they are great and friendly people and she gave us exactly what we wanted , we seen some of her artwork and it was great , would definitely recommend and I will definitely be going back if I get anymore tattoos !

This place is NEVER open for people to just come in anymore even though they say they are and it said walkings but appointment preferred so Im taking that their doors are locked at 730p and no one is answering the door and they state theyre open until 9 that they are only taking appt and not ever actually OPEN to the general public anymore. I would give them no stars if I could for this lack of notification via online details and the fact their open sign is on and no one answered.
