I always love going to Big Time Customz bc the ppl r so great and fun to joke around eith and so down to earth! I got my septum pierced today (bull ring piercing for those who dont know) and I felt nervous but they helped calm me down and Howard did an awesome job! They r so patient too.... my friend got a tattoo of her sobriety date (7/29/23) and Mason did an awesome job!!! I love this place so much! Thanks to all the staff there!

I got my son name on me today and my experience overall was pretty good. If im ever in the neighborhood again i will stop by. Im not a talker so i didnt get the name of the girl that did my tattoo. But she was really nice and make sure i got what i wanted.

A full service shop with excellent service. Chuck has been our tattoo artist hes got a very light touch. My first tattoo was a very pleasent experience. My hubby has several tattoos done by him as well. Howard was my piercer, hes the best around, hands down. Made me super comfortable, explained everything he was doing and even distracted me at the exact moment he did the actual peircing. I freaking love both of them. Totally recommend them for a first timer. Just got my 2nd from Chuck and couldnt be happier with my first sitting of my Star Wars Sugar Skull tattoo!! Cant wait to add flowers🌼🌼

Alyssa did a beautiful floral tattoo for me today with all of my kids’ birth flowers. She was very sterile. Washed her hands often, kept the tattoo clean and moist while she worked. I felt so comfortable in that aspect. She’s also very easy to talk to and makes the whole experience enjoyable. I am so happy with my special tattoo and will always use her in the future.

This place is awesome if you are getting a piercing for the first time, friendly staff and a quick and easy process, they even let me hold the hand of one of the workers so that I could squeeze something. She even cleaned up my makeup a tad bit before I left! She answered all of my questions I had for her and explained how to take care of my piercing afterwards. Definitely will be going here again for my next piercing

Been coming to this shop for years for both piercings and tattoos. Made an appointment with Howard to get some more piercings. I was in and out in less than an hour. I have not and will not go to anyone except Howard for any piercing.

Got my septum & double earrings done here, not sure why the lady at the front desk was the one doing my piercings even tho i did not see any proof of her having a license to do so. My septum is pierced way too high and in my cartilage which caused me a lot of pain during my healing process, and not being able to find proper jewelry to fit. She didn’t even try to find my “sweet spot” she just put the clamps in my nose and put the needle through. I went in a few months later in hopes of Howard doing my piercings, nope. It was the same chick again, I would’ve left and went to another place but nobody else had openings that day. She took 10 mins just trying to line the earrings up, and pierced my ears using CLAMPS. Which increased the pain by a lot, i had already had my doubles pierced but they had already healed up so i requested if she could do it as close as possible to where the holes already were, instead she did it as far away as she could causing me to not be able to get my thirds pierced (which i told her i would eventually want). fast forward a couple weeks n months my left side has finally healed back up while i was sleeping. I’ve struggled with months because the left side would continuously reject the earring, which i’ve never had happen. Would recommend tattoos from here, but not piercings.

Very satisfied with the service. Everyone was very nice. Howard was kind,and very informative on what he was going to do,and gave me a heads up if he was going to touch me if my eyes happened to be closed. He let me know what I needed to do to clean it and wear to get other jewelry to fit my piercing.

Today was my first time getting a tattoo. The staff at big time customs is amazing and makes you feel welcome as soon as you enter the door. Mason did my first tattoo and was very good at making a design like I wanted. Big shoutout to all the staff at big time customs especially my Tattoo artist Mason!

I got my nose pierced back in November (2015). The service was great, it was decently priced, everything was sanitary, and Howard was very nice. Ive never had any problems with my piercing, it healed just fine. Ill definitely be back soon to get my double helix pierced.

I just got my tongue piericed today and what a wonderful experience it was! Howard, the guy who did my piercing was really friendly and funny. He walked me through all the steps as he was doing the procedure, and even made me feel not so awkward about drooling all over myself 😂 Also, the aftercare spray is really cheap there.. In other store it would cost about 20 bucks but here you can get it for 12! I would really recommend this place to anyone who is looking for quality piercings.

I got my septum pierced here and I am very upset. She did not pierce it in the right spot at all, its in my cartilage. She did not even attempt to use her fingers to find the sweet spot in my nose, she just put the clamp in and pierced. I have to get it taken out a repierced in the correct spot now.

The staff was really nice and howard made sure to talk me through my belly piercing. the only down side of my experience was that the piercing was crooked. im not sure if its my belly or not but it is crooked! but overall, the experience was nice!

I took daughter to get her nose pierced for the first time yesterday at Alans Body Piercing. We came across a wonderful gentleman by the name of Howard. He was excellent!! I spoke with this location four times. Alan piercing is a part of big-time custom tattoos. The young lady that picked up the phone told me that I could walk in and then they weren’t taking any new piercing people and then they didn’t have any time I would’ve had to wait an hour. When I spoke to him, he told me to come back at 7:30 I came back at 7:28 and the young lady answered his personal cell phone and said I’m sorry that he told you that we would be available but we’re not taking any more people… Horrible customer service.

Howard is amazing!!! I got 2 piercings, and before we started, he thoroughly explained what he was going to do, and why. He explained everything and made sure that I totally understood!! He explained the after care step by step. While I was ther, I found the tattoo artist that I will have doing my next tattoo! Awesome experience!!

We waited aboit 20 mins, the place is beautiful and clean. The woman who did my childs septum piercing took about 4 mins to find the right spot with the clamp, then it seemed to take about a whole min 1/2 to get the need threw. My oldest got this same piercing done at Ink Rush In Carrollton and it took all of 2 mins. I was so worried my baby was in pain. And over the phone I was told it would be $45 and they wouldnt let me pay before the piercing, and I was charged $65. This is the reason for my rating. They were not rude. But didnt really speak either. Also if you want cleanser its $15 extra it doesnt come with it here.

On a whim I decided to get a septum piercing... and Howard made this an A-mazing experience! I called shortly before he was set to leave for the day, but he was nice enough to wait for me. Howard found that sweet spot so it was virtually painless... one of the least painful of all my piercings actually. And because I work in finance and needed to be able to hide the piercing in 3 days, he advised me of my options and offered to flip it for me the day before I go to work. Not only was he beyond knowledgeable, he was SUPER pleasant... and gives great hugs!! Needless to say, I immediately told my college-age niece about BigTime, so well definitely be back within the week!

Howard pierced my right tragus a week ago. I wanted to do one at a time because when I had my Daith done in NOLA it hurt like hell and I couldn’t sleep on my right side.. but.. my tragus piercing don’t give me any issues.. I been thinking about going back every since I had it done for my left ear.. I may go today! I won’t go any where else. Howard was very professional and educational. and even called me shortly after I left to make sure I knew how to clean it properly! This is the place to go to feel like home while receiving great service!

I read the reviews for this shop days before I went and I was sold. The only piercing I have had were ears/cartridge, but Ive waited a year or more to get my nipples done (had to wait til I was 18). That being said, I didnt want to just let ANYbody pierce that area... For obvious reasons lol Anyways, I called and spoke with Howard to check on prices, and he was so awesome. He even took $25 of the top because my friend and I came in together (she got her nose pierced). When we arrived, he had everything prepped for me, and only took about 5 minutes to prep for my friend as well, then we were brought to the back. Not only is Howard extremely knowledgeable about his craft, he is hilarious and makes the entire experience enjoyable. We cracked jokes, exchanged stories, etc. He informs his clients thoroughly, TWICE, just to ensure they understand everything they must know. Also, he made the piercing as painless as possible! I only bit my lip, no cussing, yelling, or crying lol If you want a piercing, and stay in the Douglasville (or even Carrollton/Villa Rica) area, Howard is the man to see! Professional, amusing, and wonderful is all I have to say about that shop and that man!(: oh, and BTW, my piercing turned out BEAUTIFUL. Today is the day after (3/18/16), and they arent sore at all!

I just got my daith pierced in my right ear by Alan. It was awesome I went in with a migraine and walked out with a little bit of pressure around the piercing. Which is just from it being pierced not even 15mins ago. I wasnt sure if this would work and honestly Im still not sure it will work 100% but so far so good. Alan is very nice and very honest which made me more comfortable with him and the process. When he pierced my daith there was a little sting then a lot of pressure but no pain. I would definitely recommend him for any of your piercing wants. Thanks Alan

One of the best shops around, Tony and the guys are extremely talented artist. Well maintained, friendly atmosphere (old schoolish). Do yourself a favor and go see these guys for your next (or first) tattoo or piercing. You wont regret it.

I made appt 3 days early. To be sat putside in 90 degree weather. Asked to wait inside.....FOR WHAT. Afterwards artist named Chris(caucasian)never replied showed up and no one to fill in. I came from Atl to have my memorial tatoo not accomplished. As a business owner myself. No professionalism or courtesy. Very non-chalant. I would not recommend. Need a reset on business etiquette. Not to mentioned was told to wait outside in hot weather while they cleaned. I need for yall to clean before the patrons come not right before

Came here as soon as I turned 18 to start my tattoo journey and it did not go well. Just slapped a stencil on my arm that I didn’t approve and got to work. The tattoo did not come out anything like i wanted it to and I was disappointed. Not to mention the uncooperative nature and rudeness from who i assume is the receptionist. 3 tattoos and a piercing later and I go to VILLA RICA INK for EVERYTHING.

I just had the worst experience of my life I have been planning to pierce my daughters ears since I found out I was pregnant and so have many women before me, it is a very common thing to do so when I decided I of course I wanted and be best to do it in the first place I thought of of course was big time (because I have had awesome experience here with tattoos and piercings) so I called them months ago to plan it out and make sure I had everything I needed and make sure that they do pierce a three month olds ears (doctor recommended age) and they told me they do so today I took my 4.5 month old daughter in and this is the exact conversation I had:Employee: How may I help youMe: I would like to have her ears piercedEmployee: Awe why would you do that?! OoHow old is she?Me: 4.5 months oldEmployee: My baby is the same age when was she born?Me: March 24thEmployee: mine was March 21st and I would never dream of doing that!Me: Well its better when they are youngerEmployee: Oh well I dont think he will do that, let me ask.... No he said he wont do it till they can ask, he LOVES children so hes not going to do that.Me: Okay well Ill just go to Villa Rica Ink because they will do it with no problem. Its not bad for me to get her ears pierced.Employee: Well good luck with that!I dont care what your personal opinion is there is absolutely no reason for a business professional to degrade me as a mother! Having my daughters ears pierced is totally normal! No little girl wants her ears left un-pierced and I chose not to have to deal with a 5 year old fit and her taken her earrings out and having them close out. This is the perfect age because she wont touch them causing an infection. I chose a tattoo shop because its clean and sterile they wont turn out crooked like all of mine are.

Get the price in writing and dont use derikTattoo artist was derick hetzer. Ive been here before for other artists and had no issue which is the only reason I gave them 3 stars and not 1. Figured Id meet in the middle on my rating.The tattoo I got this time required 2 trips. A verbal total was given of $400, $300 for the first session and $100 for the second.All was as described until I returned for my second session. Derik admitted he was having issues with his tattoo device and it seemed close to half of what he already did had to be redone. He ended up charging me $300 for the second trip.Its been about a month now. There are spots of the tattoo he missed everywhere and Im paying another shop to fix it.
