I came in today and Jose was my artist. Lemme tell you, that man hooked it up! He took his time, was careful, and really understood what I was going for. I recommend him and Long Island Ink Tattoo & Piercing without any reservations! Excellent place and people!

Beware of LIZ !!!! My daughter 11 got her ears pierced here for her birthday by a woman named Liz or Elizabeth. She charged $100 for her ear piercing and I also paid an additional tip. A week later I found out from my daughters doctor that. LIZ put the wrong earring in my daughters ear, which created her ear to swallow the earring inside the lobe,after a doctors visit and a urgent care appointment, they had to extract the earring. Costing additional bills and not being able to have her ear pierced. After calling Liz to explain she was defensive very unprofessional and rude. She said that she is the manager ao all complaints go through her despite it being her that created the issue. I requested to speak to the owner. She’s very evasive and said I’ll take down your information to have Mr Frank call you back. She refused to give any contact information for the owner. Buyer beware do not use her services. Hopefully the owner will see this message and get back to me in a timely manner, but it’s already been a week since I requested to speak to him. I don’t believe she gave him the message.

Got my 3rd tattoo by Jose here and he is awesome.. hes professional but laid back, you can tell he takes his profession seriously. Jose is very communicative with getting the design right he wants to please his costumer but also gives great suggestions on placement, size, color etc.The whole ambiance of the shop was dope, I even got a t-shirt which was nice! Definitely stop by and check it out..

There Customer service was amazing, I had the pleasure of Chris doing my tattoo. he made sure I was Comfortable through the whole process and was very easy to talk to. I recommend this shop to those who are looking for amazing results. ( the pic I posted is not healed yet ) will update when it heals.

Iv’e been recommending Long Island Ink to friends/family for years. I’ve been a customer since 2021 and still come to get work done. I only come to them for my piercings. Liz is my favorite at this location she does a great job! I refuse to go anywhere else.

Hubby and I got tatted today. Great service, very clean, sanitized everything, and best of all...GREAT PRICES! Chris was honest and didnt try and price gouge, like some other shops.*UPDATE: Went and got another tattoo done by Chris yesterday and was not disappointed. Yes, the prices have increased, but it is expected. He still did what I wanted and I love my new tat! Hubby got his done today. We will be back!

My son got his first tattoo and my husband got a cover up tattoo. They both went to both artist in the shop and the both did great work!! Thanks a bunch Gwen and Chris. They are very clean, sterile, reasonable in pricing, and talented artists!! Their is a great piercing lady there as well.

I can not say enough good things about Chris. His tattoos are amazing and he had an awesome personality that made the 4 hours of work he did on me enjoyable. I cant wait to finish my arm and post some pictures to give some justice to how good this guy is.Update: Completed the 2nd part of my tattoo. The work really does speak for itself..Update #2: Almost finished with the sleeve started a little over a year ago. Chris is my tattoo guy for life. Last December, I had my nose pierced here and the experience was great.Last night, I took my mom and sister to get tattoos & the experience was great yet again and the tats are nice. My only issue was feeling as if we had been robbed by Jose. My mother got a cover up (medium) for $350, my sister got 6 mini tattoos on her fingers for $520 & I got 2 minis on my finger and a small name for $250. Jose spent the most time on my mom’s tattoo (as expected but less than 1.5hr). My sister’s took 30min and mine 20min tops. My issue is that it’s $160/hr on their page but we were charged way more than that. We also were there for a total of 3.5hrs (1.5hr which he did the digital art/tracing each design). Anyway the prices were extremely unreasonable for my sister and I. I even reached out to other artists today just to be sure. But what’s done is done… just make sure to negotiate and think twice BECAUSE YOU PAY FIRST.Removed a star because my sister’s tattoos are basically nonexistent… not even 2-wks later. Huge disappointment

Jose did my tattoo and im absolutely blown away by it. He was great with communication and understanding my vision I wanted for my tattoo. He has a soft hand when it comes to tattooing and he was very patient with me during the session. His work speaks for itself. I will always use him for all my future tattoos.

Absolutely phenomenal work by Ash.Got my industrial on one ear and my two step kids wanted a helix and a belly button.I called around noon to see if they had a piercer available and they said they were available available for walk-ins until 9 PM.We arrived around seven and we were out by eight.We were all three in and out within an hour, and Ash explained everything to us, including preventative care after.In a few months, I’m gonna bring my step kid that got the helix in one year back so we can do his other ear and my other ear for my second industrial.

Came in as a walk in with my boyfriend to get his eyebrow pierced. it was his first piercing and the piercer did great. she did a quick and easy job and was very helpful with after care and instructing how to clean it properly and notified him on the gauge she used to pierce. she recommended after care products the shop had but didn’t pressure us to buy them. i will say the curved barbell she used did have diamonds on it that we didn’t realize till 30 min later but nothings wrong with a little sparkle. will definitely be back for future piercings

Chris is the BEST tattoo artist I have ever been to! He was super nice and made sure I was doing okay during the entire process. I am in love with my new tattoo, and I will definitely be back!💜😊

I took my husband here after being recommended by my dad for his first Fathers Day gift. Chris did an amazing job, was absolutely the most professional, and he exceeded my expectations. The shop is very clean which is an added bonus. Im sure we could have gotten our tattoos cheaper, however, we wouldnt have received the service we did. Highly recommend!

I had my septum done here, so far healing going well, very little discomfort after and the actual piercing was painless. The staff were knowledgeable and could handle a good laugh. I recommend Liz! they did a excellent job~Update: healed perfectly with no issues and they replaced my piercing for me pretty early~

I been going to Buckles for my tattoos for some time now and hes excellent! The only artist I go to for tattoos. He upgraded my old tattoos, and added new tats, with some of the best artwork Ive seen from an artist period. His work is like that of an well-known artist truly passionate about art and a profession at his craft. Very talented and knowledgeable about the craft of tattooing and the skin. When I left the shop today I was asked by 3 people who did it, and one even asked me the address and for Buckles name! Highly recommend Buckles!

This place is the best, Chris has done mine, my moms and our friends tattoos and we recommend him to everyone. He’s very patient and really listens to what youre going for and pulls it off every time. (even when he did my ribs and I cussed the whole time and said I hated him lol) All the staff is very pleasant and kind, everything is clean and thoroughly explained. Love this place definitely recommend :’)

I am so angry. I read other reviews, this place has a 4.8 rating but I will NEVER go back. My babies got their ears pierced yesterday and it was an hour and 200$ of torture. The man who attempted my 3 year olds piercings hands were shaking so bad I thought he was going to stick the needle in the side of her face. But I let it continue. Then he pierced her left ear but not all the way through. Blood got all over her sweater and I had to hold her down so he could attempt again to pierce her left ear. He eventually gave up so the other woman came in and did my 3 year old. I thought for sure he would do better with my 8 month old. NOPE! He poked her ear with the needle 3 times making it bleed before actually piercing it through. Must have been his first day because he couldnt keep his hands still to save his life. And I just let it happen. Im at fault. This was a HORRIBLE experience. I could have done better. No really, Im a registered nurse and it was amateur hour in there, I literally could have taken the needle and done better. It was awful, my babies left screaming and crying and I let them be tortured by professionals.

Best place around! Chris Macko did an amazing job and words cannot describe how happy I am with my new piece. An absolute blast to chat with while he works his magic. Will not hesitate to go back for more very soon!

I paid $520 for 6 small tattoos on my hand (mind yall it went from $460 to $520) but I’m there and I want what I want so I’ll pay for it. The tattoos looked amazing for the most part. It’s been 2 weeks and 2 of the tattoos are totally fading like henna or a peel off tattoo. I don’t live in GA so I really can’t even go back for the artist to fix them. On top of the $520 I will now have to pay a local artist for the correction. Point of it all… I wasted money on an overpriced session that took the artist 20mins to complete with 1 needle so what did I pay for? I wouldn’t recommend.

First of all, I am a plus size girly and I wanted to get my belly button pierced. I would like to say that customer service was 10/10. The lady at the desk was welcoming and was always smiling and made me feel comfortable. My piercer was a lady who wasnt so familiar with English, but they made sure she had some one to interpret what she was saying. They really took their time and made sure my piercing was perfectly placed. I love my piercing, it is a symbol to me. And I couldnt have asked for a better experience.

Went in for my 27th Birthday as a walk in. Jose took care of my tattoo and answered all care questions as this was my 1st one. Very knowledgeable and did amazing. Once this tattoo has healed I’ll definitely be back !!

This is one of the coolest places to patronize. The tat artist Chris is such a nice person. He takes the time to come out to greet you and takes the time to explain to importance of knowing exactly what youre of tattoo you want before committing to get one. I took my daughter for nose piercing, Liz was literally the best and so sweet. My husband also got a tattoo by Jose and it looks amazing! I have had my share of different shops but this one tops all of them. I will definitely only come here from now on!

From my experience the piercers are good, however they claim they carry quality jewelry & they don’t. I practice good aftercare but jewelry still turns green or bends out of shape.

Walked in on a Friday afternoon. Liz changed my plastic retainer piercing back to my “Monroe” piercing, because I had an MRI that morning . She did a quick and phenomenal job, even straightened out my piercing that a previous technician had bent. She gave me some advice for a continued and speedy healing process. I will be back.!!! I got my nose pierced here. Ash was the tech that did my work. Ash was comforting, and explained the procedure thoroughly. The procedure was really quick and not painful. I recommend this shop.

Great staff. My cousin wanted a neck tattoo and the guy that did it had a real steady hand and knew how to create it for her. I got a nose piercing after drinking the night before. The women that did it made it quick and easy even though I bled a lot due to the alcohol. The prices for tattoos start at $100. My nose ring was only $60

I got a few piercings and they are very clean, professional and knowledgeable. They explain the process and provide you aftercare instructions on how to take care of the piercing. I recommend 10/10 and definitely will be returning for more piercings and my first tattoo!

I love this place! I came here before to get my nose and navel pierced and my experience was amazing. Came back to get my first tattooed and my experience was the same as the first time; amazing. I got tattooed by Chris and he was very nice was very diligent at his work. Definitely would come back!

Went there a week ago and paid $200 to get a venom piercing on my tongue. I already thought that $200 was steep , but brushed it off. About 3 days after the piercing I woke up and noticed that one of the bottom balls was completely inside of my tongue. Apparently the lady who did the piercing put too small of a bar, which didn’t anllow proper room for swelling/healing, and the entire ball went back into the piercing site, completely. One day the ball was there and the next day it was gone. I called to tell her, and she told me to come in, so that she can push it back through, so I went in the next day and they weren’t able to do anything about it. Told me to go to urgent care to get it out, but urgent care directed me to the ER. The ER spent hours trying but failed to get the bar and the ball out. They had to refer me to an ENT specialist. I wasn’t going to ask for a refund, but when I called and asked if they gave them out, I was told that they didn’t. I had to take the piercings out completely in order for the doctors to do their job. So now I’m out $200, no piercing, with an ER bill on my plate and another doctor bill on top of that. Would never step foot in that place ever again.

I got a piercing and my first tattoo. The guys were awesome to work with, especially my tattoo artist, Chris. He was incredibly helpful at helping me design my tattoo how I wanted it to be. He was prompt with designing it and offered different design choices. He helped me pick the perfect colors. He was great with conversation, very clean, and paid close attention to detail. I got my nipples pierced here with Nae and I am so impressed. She was so gentle and so professional and sweet, and even gave me her number in case I had any questions. My piercings have healed beautifully, absolutely no infection or pain at all (months our) and I am so grateful. They are such a quality shop and next time I want to be pierced or tattooed I will be going here!

I highly recommend this tattoo shop! And I highly recommend Gwen. She was amazing the whole time. I contacted her on Instagram to set up a consult for a memorial tattoo I had in mind for my grandfather who passed last year from a car accident. She was very courteous, professional and quick to reply to my messages. When I went in for the consult, Gwen greeted me at the counter and was a great listener as I described and showed her my samples for the tattoo I had in mind. The whole process was very great and every step was explained thoroughly. We set a date, time and she quoted me a price. The day of the tattoo went very smooth and everything was done with cleanliness and efficiency. Any changes to the sketch of the tattoo that I had in mind, Gwen was quick to accommodate and she made samples of different fonts for the time and we made sure the handwriting sample from my mom was right. I’m very happy with my tattoo and love how it turned out. It looks like my mother and late grandfather wrote directly on my arm. I will definitely be back ❤️

I had my nose pierced here and I was in and out in minutes, but didnt feel rushed. Friendly folks that didnt mind answering my stupid questions. Be warned, they only take cash so have it ready unless you want to pay ATM fees.

Got a forearm tattoo and a small add-on piece done last night by Chris Macko. My experience from start to finish was awesome! He was professional, meticulous, friendly, and very easy to work with. My experience was pretty good. all of the staff members are friendly and theyre funny lol. liz did my belly button piercing and i had some complications from having it previously pierced by someone else; but she made sure everything was okay and let me know what was the problem. 10/10 recommend! Where to start whew all I can say is Thank God for this shop I had my tongue pierced in pa the person there apparently went through the muscle and the bottom of my piercing became imbedded I went the er they actually turned me away then o was gonna go to a different one today I said let me try one more shop so I googled my situation and Long Island ink came up I said a prayer called and spoke to Liz from our initial convo I can tell she knew what she was doing I seriously was scared about this piercing being stuck getting infected to make a long story short Liz not only got it out there was next to no damage I was able to eat no swelling nothing so far I’m so happy I gound this place Liz you are amazing and Shawn was a great energy as well I will be coming back after I heal to get re pierced this time the right way Thanks again Liz you have gone far and beyond to help me and I’m very very thankful

This place says piercings but dont know how to correctly pierce an eyebrow and heres how I know that, a year ago, I got my eyebrow pierced here I honestly should of looked into the place but I got it done and everything seemed fine with it till I got this knot type bump on the bottom hole of the piercing and remind you before you think I didnt clean it or handle it properly I did, I know I did. But it swelled up and this bruise formed and didnt go away I was able to change the piercing out once and it all seemed besides that discoloring and eventually I took it out, a year later a couple weeks ago I went to big time piercings and I showed them wjat long island did and they said its because the lady didnt property pierce it and didnt apply the pressure needed after on the piercing like you were supposed to. The discolored whatever it is,is there still where the old piercing was, please when you get a piercing at all dont go to long island ink, they dont know how to pierce and be my guest trying that out. Big time ink is constanhavung to fix work for people that long island did. So theres that and long island needs to work on that and do better. Please make sure you do your research on what your getting done and keep this review in mind. Im.not a hatter trying to hate Im simply spreading awareness. Thank you and please be sure you know what your doing.

Today I was in and out within 30 mins, mind you I did get a smaller tattoo, but I was immediately greeted when I walked in. No confusion on my appointment or tattoo. Everything was clean and sterile, I felt comfortable with my tattoo artist Chris immediately. He made sure my tattoo was placed evenly. I’ve had 3 tattoos done at Long Island Tattoo on Bright Star Road in Douglasville, all by Chris Macko and I have been more than pleased every time!!! The shop is very clean, Chris is an amazing tattoo artist and very friendly too! My husband has had 2 tattoos done by Chris and my brother just got one from him a couple days ago and they both love his work too! Nothing but compliments from everyone who has seen our tattoos! My dad will be going to get his first one ever from him soon too and my brother has already started lining up another one from him and one for his wife. I highly recommend Chris @ Long Island Tattoo!!! I’ve not worked with anyone else there before, but I would assume that they are just as good!

I called in and asked if they would be able to take walk ins, without hesitation Gwen said yes and continued to ask me about the tattoo, gave me her number and we sorted out the details. When i got there she showed me what she had, and she took the design and made it her own and made it 10x better than what i imagined. She was very informative, and a great listener. She took my idea and turned it into art! She was very gentle and always made sure i was okay throughout getting the tattoo, and we were done in roughly 1 1/2 hour? The piercing lady was so dope. We even had on matching outfits. In and out within 15 mins. Super professional, and less painful than the last 2 times I had it done. Highly recommend 👌

Finally got my second tattoo and man, I sure went to the best place to get it. From the moment I walked in, I was surprised how professional this place was. I saw the reviews before I went, so I have high hopes for this place. And man, they deliver and more. The place is very organize and clean. Chris knows hows to run a business and treat customer the right way. As for the works, one the best piece Ive seen. My wife dont want me to get a tattoo and skeptical about it, but as soon as its done, she loved it and how clean the tattoo is. I dont post on social media but she did, I guess she really loved it. I went to Long Island Ink for my first tattoo and the experience was fantastic. Gwen did my tattoo and she was so nice, gentle, and very knowledgeable. She made me feel very comfortable, couldn’t have asked for a better experience for my first tattoo. Definitely would go again :)

Got 3 piercings here. The staff is very nice but they extremely over charge. The piercings were all crooked. They also charged 350$ to spend 45min on a tattoo, just to make it way worse than before. I re-did my bridge today and its way way more straight than the one i got at this shop. I mean they didnt even try to get it leveled, theyre just in it for the money. (One with the hat is what this shop did to me)Never ever going back#neveragain

I just received my second tattoo from Long Island, I’ve never had anything but exceptional service. Tats turned out great and booking an appointment was made easily on my off days. Got my first tattoo (an arm band) on Sunday, a walk-in with a picture reference I provided. Buckles was my tattoo artist and was a super chill guy! Made me feel comfortable despite being super nervous. He even readjusted the armband layout several times just to make sure it was straight and looked good (which I was very thankful for!)He did gorgeous work and was very friendly, I definitely recommend him to anyone going in for tattoo work!

I’ve gotten piercings with Devo and a tattoo with Chris. They were both great while I was there and also reached out to see how I was healing afterwards. The atmosphere in the shop is professional and the quality of work matches the price. Love the vibe of the shop overall. Will definitely be back to get more tattoos in the near future.

I’ve gotten 2 tattoos and 2 nose piercings from here and the service is great! Very nice and chill people! Last time I went to the shop, the tattoo minimum was $86 and now it’s $100. $60 was around the minimum for a piercing. The pricing changes every time I go back but in case anyone wanted an idea about the prices, there ya go. They’re worth it, though. Genuinely loved the service!

I got both nostrils pierced by Liz for only $100 ($50 each). I was very pleased with the attention to detail and the clean environment.Update: Came in 6 months later and got my septum pierced by Nae for $80. The piercer was quick and considerate.

Gwen at Long Island Ink is so talented! She was responsive, professional, and helped me design my tattoo exactly how I wanted it. Her work is awesome, I couldn’t have picked anyone better. To top it off the shop is very clean and I love all the art they have up! Can’t wait to get my next tattoo.

I have experienced both Devo and Brians work and they are both great. D did a tattoo and put piercings back in. He was gentle and comforting. Brian did my spider bites. Again, quick. They both explained everything well. Chris hadnt done any work for me yet but I have seen his art and he (as well as D and Brian) are amazing.

Took my daughter to get her ears pierced. The place is clean, and she said it didnt hurt when they did it. HOWEVER, we just swapped earrings (after 6 weeks, we allowed for healing) and come to realize they pierced her ears diagonally. The piercing goes down to the earlobe instead of straight out, which caused so much pain to my daughter when I was trying to get the new earrings on

Gwen, 1 of the artists, had awesome customer service skills while being a one woman show. My husband & I went on a Monday evening, she was very accommodating with time and a wheelchair. She also did a couple really good tattoos

I had better expectations for this establishment. I went in and signed the papers, got my design printed out, etc. I dont even think the artist told me his name because within 2 minutes of me being there he was talking on his phone. He was still on the phone as he set up all his equipment to begin my tattoo. I brushed this aside at the time, why, Im not so sure. I had simple line work done and it turned out absolutely horrible. None of the lines are the same thickness and they arent straight at all. He kept saying because of how he pulled my skin the ink went in differently and when it was healed it would go away. He mentioned this multiple times which I found odd. Ive gotten all my tattoos done at different places with no problems so Im no noob to tattoos. I dont want to say I dont recommend this place because of all the good reviews, maybe it was just the artist. I spent $90 on my tattoo (including tip) and now I will have to spend at least another $50 to have his mistakes fixed.

Do NOT go here to get pierced. They are either psychotic or completely incompetent. I mean that with every fiber of my being, Ink Rush did the same piercing in a moment, that they took 30 minutes to do, with multiple hooks. They take advantage of the power differential here and its disgusting. Truly awful place of business. They WILL take advantage of you - one way, or another. Avoid at all costs. Chris did my forearm dream catcher tattoo..fortunately the shop I was referred to that I booked almost a month in advance cancelled me as I was getting off the exit. I am a firm believer in everything happens for a reason because chris understood what I wanted, and that i was on a time crunch to have it done this weekend specifically. he had me a drawing that night and was able to schedule the next night. Long Island Ink is immaculate inside, and Brian make sure I was comfortable with every step of the process. He explained how to clean and take care of my piercing and was all around amazing. 10/10!

I originally went to get my bridge pierced by Devo and the experience was so awesome that I went back and got a curated ear done by him at a second visit. Devo is super friendly and the atmosphere is so chill. I love the artwork on the walls. Brian tattooed me yesterday and he was awesome. He took his time and made sure that I was okay throughout the entire process. I showed him what I wanted and he took flight from there. He added his Brian Flair and my tattoo came out even better than I imagined. He also pierced my daughters nose and gave us better instructions on how to care for her septum piercing done at another shop. He was very clean and efficient. I HIGHLY recommend Brian and this tattoo shop. Im glad that I found it and I will definitely be going back again for future work.

Honestly, when I first moved to Douglasville and saw Long Island Ink I was little skeptical since its attached to a gas station market. I ventured in one day to check it out and was so pleasantly surprised. It is a very chilland clean environment. Ive been to numerous shops where the employees seem judgemental or impatient, so meeting Chris and Devo was a refreshing change of pace. Ive had work done by both of them and it has always been perfect. Theyve also always been extremely kind. Ive rolled in with countless issues and theyve always helped me out. I got a pair of plugs stuck in my ears once and panicked. Chris got them out, leaving both the plugs and my ears unscathed. Im saving my pennies so I can go get another piece done here. Ive previously had work done at numerous shops, but they are by far favorite. I recommend checking out their instagram and seeing the quality of their work for yourself if you need further convincing to check this place out.

I got a belly piercing from here. It was around the same price as other places, I just choose to come here because the reviews were higher ranked. The man who did my piercing was really chill and he made the process easy.

My daith piercing fell out as I was cleaning my ear. I went here to get a new one placed, it was $20 to place the earring and another $20 to buy the jewelry...in less than 24 hours the freaking earring fell out without me even touching it...Im so angry, but I was in another state and couldnt go back...
