The Underground Tattoo Studio

In November of 2018 I came in to get a nose piercing by Amy, it went great. I had a tattoo idea that I wanted done and she said she could get me in the next day, so I went. I was told Billy Osborne was one of the best so I trusted that. I left and wasn’t satisfied but was too nervous to say much. There was one spot that was super thick and I asked about it, Amy walked over and pointed at the thicker spot and she said he can fix it. He continued to make the rest of the lines thick to “match,” as you can see in the pictures. It was only my second tattoo so I didn’t know much but I knew it didn’t look right. I recently got a tattoo (elsewhere) next to said tattoo, and it really shows how bad it is next to my new one which is what led me to leave this review now, and not right after I got it. It’s blotchy and very raised, and has been since I got it. I’m unsure if he’s still tattooing there as of now. It just makes me want to cover it up but with how thick and dark the line work is and how scarred my skin is, I don’t know how easy that would be.The first 4 pictures are before, during, after, and when it started healing, to the last one being the most recent.

This place was absolutely awesome and Amy Watson Is a top-notch tattoo artist professional courteous the whole 9 yards...... loved it! This was my first session on my cover up one or two more I will post pics when its done

Got a tattoo back in October and was told that roses were the easy and a tattoo fundamental and that the tattooer would have no issue doing them because they are so easy. After 3 sessions I ended up with a grey blob on my arm that nobody could tell what it was and every tattoo shop I went to said it would be impossible to cover up. I had my first laser removal session yesterday on the tattoo. The tattoo I spent over $500 is now costing me twice that to get it removed. The first session of laser removal already cost me $300 and the next 3 will cost the same amount. Really disappointed with how it all played out. I felt like I was over promised and taken advantage of because it was my first tattoo and they assured me there would be no issues doing the tattoo at all. I will try to post before and after pictures of the removal. Everyone here is super nice but when getting a tattoo that’s not the most important thing to look for in an artist.

I went there after getting a septum piercing from a different shop five days ago then the barbell snapped off. The piercer let me come in and replaced it for me and gave me a whole new proper care sheet and explained everything so well! I was a bit scared to ask to check my other piercing to make sure it was healing well but they had no issue and made me feel as comfortable as possible:) it is a very comfortable homey feeling type of place and I will go back for all piercings in the future, they have great prices and the piercer is extremely nice and will take the time to make sure you have all questions answered and you are leaving happy! highly recommend will be back:)))

Having only one tattoo from a previous individual at 30 years old, and being content with it. It just wasnt really what I had asked for, Jordan couldnt have done a better job reworking it. I absolutely love it now and look forward to a fresh piece from him!

I had tattoo artist Jonathan Jones and he was amazing. He was fair with the price and took his time with the ink. He made sure to put a lot of detail throughout it. I love my tattoo and couldn’t have asked for anything more. Great service and everything was fast and clean, I didn’t have to wait. I am very pleased with my visit and glad that I stopped in.

If i could rate this place a 0 i would, she had many areas of blow out in my tattoo, it isnt very well detailed, and came out bigger than when it was stenciled on. i was bleeding and she wouldnt stop very much for me to catch a break. def do not recommend.

They are fantastic there!!! Got two at the same time. One his and her tattoos with my wife. They did an amazing job. A photo right now would not do the work justice because it has only been a couple of days since I got it. I do not think I could recommend them more.

This was my first experience with underground and I am highly pleased and satisfied. I had gone in to get a qoute and walked right in the next day for my appointment. Jordan is a great tattoo artist and is very good with detail and shading and even touched up another small tattoo for very cheap. I will be back!

Got my tattoo done by Jordan. It is my first tattoo. He was so patient and answered every question I had which made it very easy to relax. He did a wonderful job and made sure it was exactly how I wanted it. Will be returning if I decide to get another.

Amy Watson has done 5 tattoos for me. Three huge-detailed pieces that I absolutely love. She has done work on my daughter, my dad and two of my nieces and we we couldnt be happier with our tattoos. We all plan to go back for more and wouldnt choose another artist. Amy is professional, provides a clean and disinfected station every time, is friendly and provides the best quality work and services.

I had a tattoo done here recently by Jonathan Jones and he did an amazing job! This tattoo was very important to me so having it done well was of the utmost importance and he did just that. He even had to hand draw it and he couldn’t have done a better job. Can’t wait to go back for my next one!!

Very professional place ! Got a nose piercing. I plan on going asap to get a tattoo cover up I highly recommend. Ive been to many other shops over the past 20 years and this was by far the best experience two thumbs up I drove from Stark County. They have my business from here on out.

I had Johnathan as my tattoo artist, he did a forearm piece with stipple dot work and watercolor and it turned out amazing. His skill with colors and linework is noticeably a perk! Great artist and very professional. I will be returning to him today for a necessary edit on a preexisting piece. Hilarious guy.

Went to get my septum piercing re done and I can honestly say Im a lot happier now with it than when I got it done the first time elsewhere. Very professional and super nice too!! Definitely would recommend this place and Jordan doing the piercing!

Had a unique hand-drawn commemorative forearm piece from the owner Amy. Beautifully done, healed amazing. Amy was professional and clear about aftercare and did an awesome job; beyond what we even discussed initially. Shop was well maintained and clean. Loved the fun music atmosphere, helps to put people at ease. If youre looking for a coverup or something not from a picture on the internet this is the place. They took my ideas and Amy literally drew a free hand tree with initials for my grandparents. Exceeded my expectations. This was my third tat and first from this shop. I already have an appointment set for another project to complete a half sleeve.

Made appointment, paid deposit. They did not show up to their own business. But all good. Went to a professional Clean studio. Rather give my money to a Professional. Keep the $100, I wont step foot back in that gaudy dirty store

I was in town for a funeral... decided to get a tatt at the spur of the moment saw the underground tattoo .... Got my nose pierced by Babygirl and it was a wonderful experience :) was super quick an easy, he went over every single question or concern anyone could have, and was very considerate. Made the whole experience much less stressful

I just spent the day with Jonathan Jones and came home with a beautiful arm piece that was custom, hand drawn and touched every little bit of what I wanted and even things I didnt know I wanted, that I really did want! I highly recommend him and the underground for any tattoo or piercing need.

The piercer was super kind and made me feel comfortable, he was funny and overall i had a great experience

They changed my daith piercing for me, and they were superb. Very professional, clean and extremely friendly. And it didnt cost much either!

Says they close at 8pm, i show up at the store at 5:30 and the doors are locked, update your closing time so people dont get confused.

Definitely will be back!!! Amy did an awesome job!! They make you feel comfortable while sitting in the chair.

And you did a remembrance of Tattoo for me for my nephew who passed away and she did a very quality job free hand tattoo I would definitely use her again and recommend her to anybody thanks again I love my Tattoo

Terrible customer service. Wish I could post pictures. When I confronted her about how terrible my tattoo was by the owner she was calling me a Cee You Next Tuesday and things. Never will I go back.
