Splash of Color Tattoo & Piercing Studio

I went to the shop as a walk-in. Lucky me--Perry had a cancellation! What a *fabulous* experience. The shop is SUPER clean. The staff is very friendly. Perry took the time to make sure all of my questions were answered and my ideas considered. He made my idea come to life!! The appointment went smoothly. I have several other tattoos and have been looking for a new artist. Even though Im from out of town, I will totally travel the four hours to work with Perry again. In fact, I have him working on some new art for a future piece!

Jason did a phenomenal job coming up with perfect piece to cover an old, existing tattoo. He ensured I was comfortable and checked in often during the process. I cannot wait for him to finish the piece in another month after some healing time! *The finished product is AMAZING!!!

I am beyond happy with my tattoo from Perry. Scheduling was easy and support staff were friendly and prompt in their responses. Perry was welcoming, took great attention to detail and created a really beautiful piece and added to an existing piece seamlessly.

I was treated very well by everyone there! Perry was an amazing artist, he got with me very quickly, we worked together to come up with a piece. And he was very understanding! Price was a decent price, they even were helpful and he said I could come back and get the rest colored! One of the best places I have ever been!!!

I am a returning client, who has been to Splash for several tattoos, all good experiences ( I highly recommend Perry!). Recently, I went to get my first non-ear piercing. Andy Knag did such a phenomenal job on my nose ring. He was friendly, professional, reassuring, and super knowledgeable. He put me at ease instantly, and made the process [seemingly] painless. I cannot recommend him enough. My friend went with me, and left wanting to get another piercing (to be done by only him) because he was so good, and made it so easy.

Brandon killed it with my tattoo. He took a rough idea turned it into an amazing piece. It was my first tattoo and I got something very personal to me and the care and respect Brandon showed through the whole process was top notch.

Visited with our 6 year old daughter to get her ears pierced for the first time. Stu was amazing! He made her feel very comfortable, went over all of the directions, process, asked if she had questions, etc. Once it was time to pierce, both Stu and the other piercer (sorry, I forgot her name) made her feel comfortable, and explained what they were doing, as they did it, and it went perfectly! Loved that they pierced both ears at the same time!Thank you Stu, and Splash of Color for making this a quick, and pleasant experience - she loves her earrings!☺️

My recent experience getting a tattoo from Jason was flawless. From the moment I arrived until I left, everyone I met was fantastic. This shop is friendly, very clean, and professional. Ive never had even a mediocre experience at Splash because its always been exceptional.Jason is a fantastic artist and worth every penny paid. This is permanent art after all, and its important to remember that good work isnt cheap. Jason is laid back and conversational. He was great to work with and he even made color suggestions that I had originally not considered. My new hand tattoo turned our perfectly.I highly recommend Splash.

Overall great experience. Staff was thorough in explaining every step of the process including the best way to help my piercing heal, and they also had a very wide selection of jewelry. Andy was clearly very experienced and knowledgable. The entire studio seemed very clean.

My first time coming to Splash of Color for a guest artist Magnus for a flash sale. It was a great experience of being taken care of in a fast manner, clean shop and beautifully decorated. I definitely will be returning.

Got my septum and second nostril done here and I couldn’t recommend it more! My piercer was Andy and he thoroughly explained the whole process and made it an enjoyable and comfortable experience. The lady in the front was helpful with picking my jewelry out and went over what the cost would be and while the jewelry is a little expensive, it is good quality and cute. All in all, will come back again for the rest of the piercings I want.

Jason is amazing and an insanely great artist, I had an idea of what I wanted to do and he helped me to understand it would look better with some minor adjustments he suggested and I agreed. His skill is unmatched and the cleanliness at this place is unbelievable. There are surgeons that wear less than Jason when he tattoos. Safe environment, very clean, organized, friendly, and overall spectacular. I drove an hour and 10 minutes for the work and will gladly drive back again for the next appointment he helped me schedule before I left.

Splash has done all my work up to this point and I absolutely 💯 would not go anywhere else. My experience of getting my ears pierced couldn’t have gone any better. I was super nervous but my artist was so calm and good at her job! I also loved how welcoming the studio is. As a person of color, I felt safe and accepted. Loved all of the LGBTQ 🏳️‍🌈 postings on the walls as well. Very cool!

Andy was extremely informative through the whole process of getting my daughter’s belly button pierced. She’s not a fan of needles by any means and she didn’t even realize it was done. I would 100% go back again!

I have been a long-time customer at SOC for many years but never ventured into the realm of tattoos. When the opportunity came up, I could not think of another studio Id trust! Mikayla did an amazing job and provided a perfect service for a tattoo that is very meaningful for me. I was worried I would not be able to get the design I had in mind, but the studio was able to navigate this issue and Mikayla helped me get exactly what I had envisioned. I had Stuart pierce my ears and he was very kind and hilarious. Made me feel super comfortable asking my millions of questions and didn’t rush me at all, also was reassuring me and told me in depth how to clean me ears after. He was also very clean as they should be, thoroughly washed his hands and made sure to give me my piercings exactly how I wanted. I’ve been wanting to get my ears double pierced and my helix pierced for a long time. Splash of color was clean and the staff were very helpful when picking out jewelry. CV was very knowledgeable and explained every step of the process clearly. They made sure I knew what was happening at every step. After care and what to look out for were also clearly explained. I’m very happy with my piercings and the quality of my experience. I would 100% return for any future piercings or tattoos.

I had a great experience with Mikayla when I was in on Thursday. She was easy to work with and made me feel completely at ease as Im nervous with needles. Jason was there and the three of us chatted through the process and made it really easy for me. It was a really good experience.

Ive gotten two piercings here before, and have had great experiences, but this last visit was for new jewelry, and it was phenomenal. They not only showed me the typical options for my conch, but also gave recommendations and pricing when I asked. I called ahead to schedule the appointment to make sure there was time for them to put it in, as I have trouble with it. They made sure I liked it, and it felt good before leaving! Overall, great experience here at SoC.

I got my septum pierced. Stu walked me through everything before we even got in the room and explained everything as he did it. It was quick and nearly painless and the placement is fantastic. I would recommend this shop (and Stu) 10/10 times!

This was my first tattoo and Bella did a wonderful job making sure my buddy and I were taken care of. I was able to draw mine and she perfected the design on my arm. I will definitely be back for more!

Was very impressed by the cleanliness and professionalism I experienced at Splash of Color. CV was my piercer and they were very thorough in explaining what was about to happen. I didn’t expect to think of my piercing experience as gentle - but that is exactly what happened with CV. I went in to have a hole repierced. CV took the time and effort to see if we could just reopen the hole. Unfortunately, we had to repierce. CV was meticulous in making sure the piercing matched my other ear. This was hands-down my most positive piercing experience. Folks of all ages and walks of life were there to get services done and I would encourage anyone looking for a spotlessly clean, very professional studio to consider Splash of Color and especially CV.

I have gone to splash of color for a tattoo and a piercing. My tattoo artist did not listen to me the 5 times I asked them to change the design, in hindsight I should have walked out, but they just kept saying to trust them and that it will turn out good.The tattoo artist also teased my sister for the tattoo she was getting making her feel embarrassed about getting it.The people who were in the front of the store have been rude to me and my friend every time we went in. We were nothing but kind and were only asking questions because every so operates differently. We were met with snide comments every time we spoke.The only reason it wasnt a one star review is because Renee was very kind to me when I was getting pierced and she was very knowledgeable in what she was doing.

Mikayla was awesome! They took the time to make sure my daughter and I were pleased with the designs and the placement location and did an excellent job explaining everything they were doing. We are pumped about the final product and will come back to Mikayla for our next piece!

I thought my old piercings had closed in, so I went in to get them re-pierced. CV was amazing, they assessed, tried to save me some money by tapering them back open rather than a whole re-pierce, and it worked! Saved me money, extra scar tissue, and healing time. Thanks so much!

Everyone was super. Renee was very kid oriented and helped calm my daughters nerves before her ear piercing. My daughter said it was way less painful and scary than she was anticipating.

Splash of Color has done an amazing job with all of my piercings. Andy did both conches on my right ear and my tragus, daith, and lower helix on my left ear over the past couple years. He’s incredibly professional and knowledgeable. Stu just did three new helix piercings on my right ear yesterday, and they look wonderful. Stu is such a personable and skilled piercer who ensured that everything was exactly right despite the tight spacing. I am SO PLEASED with the outcome! Ive been impressed by Splash of Colors integrity for years. I had one piercing in 2000 and was in awe of the cleanliness and procedures. A few years back, Jason Salinaz spruced up a few of my (not so professional) tattoos. Yesterday, I went back for 4 small pieces. Not only is Jason kind, patient (I mean... for real!) and sick with talent, but he has a wealth of information about his craft and can hold his own on myriad topics. Lets face it - they are not just artists, there is a lot of therapy going on here. So, thank you, Jason and SoC for making me feel welcome and adhering to standards that keep us all safe.

I got my first ever tattoo at Splash of Color, with Bella, in memory of my Dad I got his handwriting on my forearm. I am over the moon with my tattoo. Bella is exceptionally wonderful, I will absolutely be going back! And highly recommend her any day of the week. She was so sweet and incredible to work with!

I got my septum pierced by Renee who was absolutely amazing. I’ve gotten many piercings before but they were a while ago so I was incredibly nervous going in. I talked with another piercer at the jewelry counter (I forget their name, but they had really cool eyebrow piercings) who was super sweet and made me feel about 80% less anxious, hyping me up and whatnot. When I got into the piercing room with Renee, she walked me through every single step and was also just super nice. I was talking non-stop (I do when I’m nervous) and Renee answered every question I had and just generally made me feel comfortable just talking with me. Also, Renee reminded me several times that I was in control and that nothing would be done without my say so which felt good knowing. The piercing looks great, hurt WAY less than I anticipated, and the jewelry feels comfortable.I’ve been the splash of color a few times for other things and based on those experiences I knew this would be the perfect place to get my septum pierced and have it done so well.

Im not one to leave reviews very often but Andy deserves all of the praise I can give. I originally went in for a septum piercing (they got me in the day after I called!) but because I had one previously, it didnt need to be repierced. So I decided I wanted an eyebrow piercing as well since I was already there. Andy was more than happy to add that on. He was so pleasant to talk to, made me feel completely safe and respected throughout the entire process, and was PHENOMINAL explaining the process from start to finish and the aftercare instructions. I was able to get to know him and his history as a piercer, which made the world of a difference when trusting him to not mess up my face. I will forever suggest him to other people interested in any type of piercing. I could not recommend this place enough and will be going back when I am ready for a tattoo.

Had a tattoo consult scheduled and wanted to see if I could get in for a piercing while I was there. The sweet Jupiter was able to slide me in with Andy. Stu was at the counter full of such great energy answering some questions I had regarding the process and jewelry before his next client. Andy greeted me took the time explaining the process, did a check on my old holes before doing anything. They were still open so a stretch was all that was needed. CV was incredible! I was very nervous about having my first piercing done, but they made me feel very comfortable and walked me through everything from picking jewelry to piercing to post-care, and they were simply a joy to work with.

I had a great experience with Andy at splash of color. I came in for a septum piercing assessment (I got the piercing somewhere else), and Andy made me feel very comfortable and validated. I got my piercing removed because it was having problems, and Andy was very gentle and made it a good experience for me. I recommend him and splash of color for your piercing needs!

People, please take your kids here when they want their ears pierced! SO much better in every way than that popular place in the mall. Andy was excellent with my almost 13-year-old daughter. He explained everything to us in detail and the quality of his work is outstanding. These folks know what they are doing and love their jobs, you can tell. Very impressed and highly recommend to anyone who wants the cleanest, best environment with work done by the experts!

Such a calming attitude, great explanation of each step, kept checking in with me, insanely clean, absolutely love of their craft. Seriously, so happy with every experience at Splash of Color ❤️Ive been in a ton of tattoo studios and piercing parlors over the years and consistently one thing that sets apart great shops from just OK shops, cleanliness. Period. If a shop doesnt smell like and resemble a doctors office, its usually because they dont take things as seriously as they should. Splash of Color is a fantastic example of a shop thats taking it seriously.Every room was kitted out with PPE, drapes, their own wash station, sanitizer, multiple types of gloves, covers for things like rinse bottles. My artist meticulously laid out his supplies, opened sterile items in front of me, swapped gloves if he touched things outside of the workspace, washed his hands frequently etc. And everyone I saw in there working was doing the exact same thing, including the people just generally wiping down high touch surfaces.Beyond that, they also employ a great selection of artists with a variety of styles. Im so glad I made them my choice for my first tattoo. Brandon was great, talked me thru my nerves, helped me get everything exactly how I wanted it, and kept me focused on other things besides the pain lol. Ill definitely go back here, probably sooner than my bank account would like 😅

Best place to get piercings. I always know the staff is using sterile and proper technique. I especially appreciate Stu who is always excited to do my piercings and hypes me up for them as well. He is a perfectionist and will make sure that you are satisfied with your piercing before you walk out the door!

I worked with Jason on a tattoo. I came up with the initial design but he really helped me accentuate it by adding some elements. He also suggested some colors to be used. I am thrilled with the final product. Highly recommend.

I had in Andy pierce my septum yesterday and he did an amazing job! I was super nervous as it was my first facial piercing and everyone there was super nice. He talked me through everything in detail and in combination with how friendly he was I felt way calmer by the time I actually got pierced! Cannot recommend this place enough!

I have come here for about 8 years now. I’ve received 10 piercings and 2 tattoos. I definitely recommend this place and I always suggest them when asked. It’s been really fun working with Renee, Andy, and CV planning out piercings. CV did my front nostril, which was awesome. I was really honored to be the first for them, and of course it was placed perfectly and I left satisfied. Andy and Renee have helped me plan my nostril piercings, suggesting piercings I’ve never thought of. Speaking of which, I just got a vertical philtrum by Andy, which is really pulling the symmetry I’m trying to achieve. Got a chest piece done with Mikayla, and I got my first piercing, a septum, with Andy! Everyone was super sweet and friendly, the staff was knowledgeable, and the quality of their work speaks for itself. I will definitely be going back (already booked another tattoo) for both tattoos and piercings.

I’ve had very positive piercing experiences with both Renee and Stu now. I can’t really imagine either of them doing a better job keeping me calm and informed throughout. The shop is always very clean and the staff are very mindful of hygiene, including the front desk. My most recent appointment I intentionally booked with a specific piercer and wasn’t informed that I would be with a different one until I arrived. I’m not sure if this is standard practice for the shop or if the circumstances just didn’t allow me to be contacted beforehand but I strongly considered leaving and would’ve appreciated a call - even if it was 15 minutes before. Luckily, I ended up with Stu who very quickly put me at ease and did a flawless job with the piercings.

Supremely pleased with my experience! I had two additional lobe piercings done, on both ears, by Stu. He was fantastic. I appreciated how meticulous he was about the placement of my piercings. I love Splash. They have been our go-to tattoo place since we first discovered them while the pandemic was in full swing. Theyre super clean, super organized. I love watching all the sterilization stuff that takes place both before and after appointments. Staff is friendly, polite and helpful, too. Mikayla is our chosen artist and we love her work. I have seven tattoos from her now, with more in the works. My wife is up to eleven, I think. Mikayla is always willing to try new things and experiment with different styles and stuff. Absolutely great work every time were in.

I have been going to splash of color for all my tattoos and piercings since 2016. I love the atmosphere in the shop. All the artists and peircers I have worked with at the shop are extremely friendly and do fantastic work! I had a great experience. The place is very clean and Renee is very careful with hygiene and cleanliness. She was very patient in allowing me to decide where I wanted my piercings and also allowed me to wait until I didnt feel dizzy anymore after my piercings. One thing I really loved about this place was they gave me a clip on nose ring to see what the placement would look like more realistically than the black dot.

Everyone was friendly and they helped me immediately when I came in. Stu, pierced my ear. He was very personable and conscious of hygiene. He also thoroughly explained the process so I knew what to expect and gave me contact information for any future questions. I would definitely go back for other piercings or tattoos.

This was one of my best experiences with a tattoo studio. Perry was amazing in his communication before the session and was very empathetic with what the tattoo meant to me. The results were great. I will definitely be back with Perry and Splash of Color for my future work.

I usually dont write reviews, but I wanted to hype up Splash of Color. I have never had a tattoo here, so I cant speak to that but I did go twice, each time for a piercing and each time with a friend. This is the best studio Ive been to for piercings (Ive been to 4). Our piercer Andy and the front of house were all friendly and helpful. Andy explained everything thoroughly, hosted a little Q and A for us beforehand, was careful to line up the piercings well, and demonstrated clean and safe practices.Its true, the prices are not marked visibly (this is pretty standard) but the front of house will add up the jewelry and piercing service cost and let you know your total right away when you ask, before anything is set in stone.Yes, its a little more expensive, but personally I know I would rather pay for a pleasant, quality experience because Ive had some not very good ones.

Okay so our piercer was Andy, and he was absolutely amazing. He was so thorough with explaining how the piercing process works. He was efficient with the piercings.My friend (f18) and me (f18) were going to Splash of color to get our first ever ear piercings together. We were so excited to be adults and to go alone and independently. However, the staff here took complete advantage of that by not explaining the prices of anything. She only told us the price once and extremely quietly and both my friend and I heard different numbers. They did not point out cheaper alternatives and when we chose our earrings, and did not thoroughly explain what the price of them were until after our ears were already pierced. We did not know how much the earrings were because there were no prices set out. We ended up each having to pay $170 for our earrings. The price was extremely high and I don’t recommend going here unless you can get prices out of the workers there. Real sneaky.

Went through Splash of Color to connect with one of their artists, Jason Salinaz for a “northern lights” of Michigan style tattoo idea I’d had for a long time. The studio was super cool and very clean; a pleasant atmosphere to spend some time in. Jason was fantastic and so talented to work with! He really captured the idea that I had and it turned out amazing. Couldn’t be happier with it! Highly recommend!

Ive been getting piercings and jewlrey replacements here for at years and its always been quality service. Also, CV is the best piercer Ive ever had. They are so precise yet gentle, I barely felt any discomfort.

My 7 year old got her ears pierced at Splash recently. The process was thoroughly described to put her at ease. Both ears were pierced at the same time. I thought everyone involved did a great job every step of the way.

I went in to get my nose piercing that i got from a different shop back in. The piercing was one of the corkscrew ones so i could not get it in for the life of me! Stu did the most amazing job trying to help me get it back in! we were unable to get it back in, but Stu could tell i was in pain so he offered me one of the straight nose piercings and it felt so much better! On top of that, he explained how to properly clean in such good detail. Thank you Stu!

I got my second lobes, rook, and helix piercings done with Stu today, and they gave me the absolute best experience one could ask for- from helping me with jewelry options to being super patient while I picked the placements, and just generally putting a nervous first-timer (I’m not counting my ye olde childhood Claire’s piercings) at ease almost immediately with their wonderful personality and professionalism. Oh and the piercings look AMAZING, obviously :D They are exactly what I wanted and I am so so happy I decided to come here. Stu is wonderful at what they do, and if you get the pleasure of having an appointment with them, you are in great hands!My experience here was so great and I would absolutely recommend it to anybody in the Lansing area looking to get pierced. The facility is SO hygienic and clean, so you can feel confident that you’re going to have a high-quality experience not just in terms of the work itself but of sanitation and safety as well. It’s true that the prices are higher than the average, but after going here it’s obvious why, and I feel SO happy that I decided to spend slightly more money to ensure that this lifelong addition to my body was done in the best and safest way possible. If there’s one thing worth splurging on, it’s the confidence that your body modification is not going to turn into a grody infected mess that causes you more grief than joy because you sacrificed the best experience you could have had for saving money. Ive been pierced here twice by Renee. Let me tell you, I have never felt so at ease with a piercer ever. I have quite a few piercings. Shes so amazing, warm, and professional. Shes very good at what she does. The shop over all is nice, the staff is nice as well. Very clean and high quality. Theyre also the only tattoo shop Ive seen still doing mask mandates and not doing under the mask piercings as far as covid goes. Theyre just wonderful and I highly recommend going there.

I had a great experience at Splash of Color when I got my tattoo. The counter staff was very helpful and Jason was excellent with doing my tribute tattoo to my late friend. Cleanest shop Ive ever been in!

This is my second time going to Splash of Color. The first time was for a tattoo and the second time was a nose piercing. Both times were fantastic experiences. The staff is friendly and takes the time to answer all of your questions and the facility is uber clean! During my nose piercing, Stu told me me to tell him when I was ready. I replied with, “Ready or not, it’s gonna happen.” And his reply was, “No - if you’re not ready, I’ll wait until you are.” THIS approach of patience and sensitivity until the customer is sure and ready makes all the difference. I give the highest recommendation for Splash of Color!

I went in to get my belly button pierced this past weekend and was super nervous and unsure of what to expect, but the staff made that feeling go away with their kindness and they made me feel very comfortable! I was so nervous to get my nose pierced but Stuart was amazing! You can tell he truly loves his job and it shows in his work. He was super patient, kind, and explained how the entire process works. I went to Splash of Color today to get pierced. The place itself was very clean, and all of the staff members I spoke to were friendly and welcoming. I was super nervous about getting pierced, but Renee did an amazing job at making me feel comfortable. I’ve been to a few other places for tattoos in the past, but none of them compare to Splash of Color!

I went in to get a jewelry change and a smaller post. They were able to get me in quickly and everyone was very helpful. The types of jewelry were thoroughly explained before I made my choice. Andy is always very professional and knowledgeable and it was a painless experience.

Facility was extremely clean, and the staff was absolutely awesome. Eric, who designed my tattoo from my ideas, was absolutely outstanding and extremely fast. Best tattoo I’ve ever received, I will be coming back again, and again! Highly recommend.

I’ve been a customer here since 2015. Their jewelry is of quality, they also have a good atmosphere. I love Renee , she is always upbeat, friendly ,knowledgeable, extremely professional, and most of all caring. When we had a tornado warning, Renee contacted me to insure I made it home safely. She follows up with me promptly to ensure my piercings are healing properly. Anytime I have had an issue with a staff member, or a piercing my concerns are addressed accordingly. I always recommend Renee and Andy to friends/ family anytime they need a piercing.

Jason did an amazing job on my tattoo! He took an idea I had, made it his own, and didnt complain when I started wiggling around. Because you know moving around helps with the pain. 100/10 recommend!!!

Splash has consistently been a clean, kind, professional and reputable business. It’s the only place in the area that I feel truly comfortable going for piercings. They take sanitization and client comfort/care extremely seriously and I was talked through every aspect of my piercing aloud before it happened. The piercing happened on my terms and only when I was ready. Every member of the piercing staff has pierced me now, and each of them are lovely and professional individuals, who clearly take their profession extremely seriously. I can’t recommend Splash enough.

Had such a great experience here! I went in to get my septum pierced today and had absolutely no issues! Super clean and great with keeping everything covid safe. Everyone i spoke to inside was beyond kind and did a great job at explaining the whole process, and it was such a welcoming environment. My 6 year old daughter had her ear lobes pierced here today by Renee and Andy and they were FANTASTIC! Renee did such a good job making sure my daughter was comfortable and knew what to expect of the process. She clearly explained aftercare and the jewelry - of which they had a very nice selection for little lobes. Overall a very warm experience for little kids who are a little nervous but are ready to make the leap. Renee and her team demonstrate why its worth the investment to have it done right by a professional!

Overpriced liars. Make you buy their jewlery instead of bringing in your own even if it is gold or platinum. Also told me I could take my piercing out at 6 months, but when I went in they then told me 9-12 months even though it was healed really well. Waste of my time and money.

I had the pleasure of being tattooed by Mikayla Dull. They are a true artist! If youre considering permanent makeup, this is a fantastic place to go! Megan did a combo brow (powder brow with some microblading) for me. They healed up really well after the first session, and after having my touchup session, I love them even more! She also did lip blushing for me, and Im really happy with the shape and color she chose.The studio is very clean and professional, and Megan herself is a really cool chick. She also makes sure youre comfortable throughout the entire process which is important given whats involved in these processes.I cant stress enough how nice it is to have brows and lips that are full and beautifully shaped. Both have boosted my confidence and cut down the time I spend doing my makeup. Im so glad I finally went through with it!

Highly recommend! Ive had an ear piercing done here (07) and my two minor daughters have had their ears pierced here (in 16 and just a few months ago). Wont go anywhere else! They take the time to measure so it looks great, and they discuss all the aspects with you. Love that they did tandem piercing for my daughters...quick, easy and healed very well. I took my 9 y/o daughter to Splash of Color to have her ears pierced. I was very impressed with the precautions that were taken to keep everything clean and sterile. Andy did my navel and wow it was such a great experience! I will always go here for my piercings not just because theyre great and everyone is really nice but their jewelry isnt surgical steel, its really good quality jewelry. He is very sanitary and opened everything in front of me. Andy has been doing this for 12+ years and everyone there has 10+ years of experience. Andy along with everyone else is so informative with what theyre doing and the whole process as well. My friend that went with me and I will be going back soon to get more done. Great experience, great people and great atmosphere, I will definitely recommend this place to everyone I know.

Fine experience during the piercing; I got two helix piercings done last summer and they were super pricy; was guaranteed that they would heal well and not develop keloids but only one has healed somewhat well (as in, not bleeding or gooey when I replace earring, it does have a keloid) and the other one has two massive keloids on the front and back of my ear, and the hole never healed. Now I dont have a piercing there, I have a huge round lump in the front and back which look awful and will probably never go away. My sister-in-law also got her piercings the same day and had a similar issue which she dealt with last summer but the studio wasnt helpful, just wanted more money to replace the earrings for longer ones. Im probably going to have to pay to get these surgically removed and treated although keloids always come back. Ugh!

I worked with Jason Salinaz for a tattoo on my arm and it was just a great experience from beginning to finish. The staff are supportive, helpful, and contact you around the time of the tattoo to go over intake and answer questions you may have. The studio is great and able to take deposits over the phone. The whole process is super flexible with payment.Jason as an artist is amazing and was a lot of fun to work with on a personal level. We talked through a few design ideas and came up with a great piece that Im proud to have. He really went above and beyond with the work, adding shading and technique to really elevate it. Im so happy with the tattoo. Hes also just a cool guy thats great to talk to when youre in the chair. Id love to get more stuff done with this studio and Jason. Thanks again!

I came in because I had a nose piercing that closed partially from the inside and could not get my hoop to go through. Chloe was fantastic and explained everything that she was doing to reopen it. Unfortunately, she was unable to get a hoop back through, so she offered me alternatives and got a stud to go in just fine. She was super patient and apologetic for any pain that happened. Overall a fantastic experience and I will definitely be back:)

Went in for a second nostril piercing on the opposite side of the nose. I was hesitant to do this particular piercing and put it off for years due to a concern that they would not be even and look off. Andy was so incredibly understanding and professional. He also shares a perfectionist tendency when it comes to spacing and measured everything out with precision. The piercing came out amazing and is healing beautifully. Cant rave about him enough! Will definitely be back in the future.

Had a good experience with getting my nose pierced. Pretty soon after I got pierced I started having issues. had a pressure bump that never went away. FOUR years later, still have a bump. turns out my piercing was done at completely the wrong angle. had to take the piercing out after four years.I have multiple nose piercings and all other ones have been done at the right angle. I have had the SoC piercing looked at by multiple certified piercers and they all are surprised at how off of an angle the piercing was done. can’t do anything now besides take it out and get it redone once it heals.

I’ve gone to SOC for both my piercing and tattoo needs. Cali Thompson is by far my favorite tattoo artist ever. He is an amazing artist - his line work is SPECTACULAR and I always have a great time while in session with him. As for piercings, I’ve worked with both Renee and Andy. Both are super professional and fun to chat with. I’ve had some scheduling issues with the front desk but highly recommended this studio!

Renee did my helix almost two months ago and it was great! She was super nice and still professional the whole time and made sure both my mom and I were very well informed (Im a minor). The place was very clean and everyone was very kind and patient. Less than two months later I have no pain or inflammation. Highly, highly, recommend both Renee personally and the shop in general.

Great experience. Got my septum pierced by Kenny very pleasant clean even during covid-19. All they ask is for you to bring in a couple documents to achieve your piercing procedure. Happy to oblige, Will go back if desired to get another piercing..

Im am incredibly nervous person when it comes to finding a new car technician, Hairstylist, or any service provider. Let me tell you I have never felt more comfortable and at ease going to a new place. Ive had two sneezing experiences both with Renee who helped me through my first professional piercing and with Andy putting the same set of jewelry back in after I ripped it out via hoodie. (I dont recommend this form of removal) The professionalism is off the charts, the space is immaculately clean, and when I called them and explained what happened they were able to get me in same day because they didnt want it to close. At every single point of my anxiety spiking they calmed it instantly. Everything was explained to me before it was done down to the sounds the jewelry would make when it was put in. I will ABSOLUTELY be going back and recommend all of my friends and clients here.

Renee has done both my nostrils and she has a really good bedside manner and makes sure to inform you of the healing process. Guides you through each step. I really like how my piercings have healed and turned out. I got my left nostril in Oct 2016 and my right at the beginning of June 2018. Would definitely recommend her and this studio if you want any work done.I also got a tattoo done by Johnny in August of 2016 and he did really awesome, drew it from scratch.

Was able to call them and get my navel pierced the same week! They were super helpful and friendly towards me while there. I also ended up needing by a longer bar and they were able to get me in immediately for that as well! Renee was my piercer and Ill definitely go to her again if I choose to get any other piercings!

There was something that I wanted to do for years now, finally did the research on what I wanted done. Had a good experience when my wife had work done there. So, I contacted them and asked if what I wanted could be done. Went there for an consultation, and made the appointment for the same day.. the piercer walked me thru every thing and told me what she was going to do before it happened. I will be making an appointment soon to have the next chapter of it done, within the next few months.

I love the atmosphere in Splash of color. Everyone is always so nice and helpful. The tattoo artists are wonderful and take great pride in what they do. I got my first tattoo there 5 years ago and I keep coming back! During COVID they have been extremely safe and clean, I felt very comfortable being there last week.

Loved, loved, loved my experience here. The interior was clean, the staff was amazing, and I am beyond thrilled with how my piercing turned out. Kenny made me feel relaxed and at ease. He thoroughly described the procedure and what he was going to be doing/how. And he made sure to let me know that he wouldnt pierce until I was ready. I will not go anywhere but here for piercings again.

I have been coming to splash for the last 5 years. I do love this shop and have recommended it many times over the years. The staff and piercing/tattoo rooms are clean and well kept. I came in today and the experience was quite off. I patiently waited 45 minutes for the piercing artist because I dropped my Monroe piercing in the sink and needed to be sized for new jewelry. I had no problem waiting for good service. While waiting the receptionist took numerous phonecalls and acted very short and rude with each person that called. I was called back to the room and told that they had no jewelry in stock so they would refund my money. I wish they would have known they had no standard jewelry when i came in to avoid the wait. However they graciously refunded my money and I left the tip due to the piercer being very nice and thorough. Then the receptionist refunded me $80.00 instead of $40.00 so she had to charge my card $40.00 again. Luckily I have the money to cover the wait for the refund to come through but others may not have that luxury so this is a problem. I didnt want my piercing to close so I went to another shop for jewelry which was unsuccessful. Then I drove to my mothers house to get the original post I was given at splash but still needed help to put it in. I called splash to set up a time where i could come and get help to put the piercing in. The receptionist rudely explained that they may not be able to put the jewelry in because it depends on the threading etc. etc. Understanding I said okay may I please make an appointment to come in (hoping to avoid waiting again for nothing She snapped back, you can just come whenever and hung up. I decided to not come back in because I was so irritated. I anticipate the shop losing additional business due to the rude attitude of this receptionist.

Over the past two years I have had daith and nose piercings done here, by Rene and Kenny, respectively, and have had excellent experiences each time. The facility is clean and the piercers make it a point to open all packs in front of you, to guarantee that the tools and jewelry are sterile. Renee and Kenny both did an excellent job of explaining the procedures before piercing and then had an incredibly calming presence during the piercing itself. Aftercare instructions were clearly explained and both Renee and Kenny urged me to contact them at the shop or via social media at any time with any concerns that I had about my piercings. I 100% recommend this shop for anyone who takes cleanliness and care seriously with their piercings.

Ive only had good experiences here. Ive gotten three piercings here, all have healed and turned out well. With my first piercing I got here (Monroe piercing), I had a serious swelling problem. This was a few years ago and I had no infection but the piercer told me I was probably the second worse swelling case he had seen. Again, I did NOT have an infection. Anyway, I had to go back three times to get a longer bar for my lip and these guys were always good about getting me in to do that ASAP and were so good to me during that time. Also got a tattoo here by Cali that turned out BEAUTIFUL! I would definitely recommend this place. Theyre safe, knowledgeable, clean, and really everything you could ask for in a tattoo and piercing shop!Only downfalls are the hassle involved with parking, and the fact that theres a 5% transaction fee if you pay with card. They do however have an ATM nearby. :)

I was so impressed when I walked in with how clean and how seriously they take CoViD. I was immediately put at ease because other shops Ive been to havent done nearly as much as they are doing and I appreciate it so much. Renee was kind and professional. I only needed a piercing looked at for irritation and I was in and out quickly. The jewelry selection is amazing and beautiful. Ill definitely be coming back for more piercings and tattoos.My only complaint is that its so hard to get ahold of them through phone calls. Ive called multiple times on different days and have only been connected to once. Its not a huge deal but it is inconvenient when Im trying to schedule something, especially last minute. Other than that, I had a wonderful experience.

Andy was awesome once again! He always explains everything thoroughly, is organized, efficient, gives good advice and is very knowledgeable regarding my piercings! Splash of Color is my trusted go to place for piercings and Im sure they are the same way with tattoos. Would recommend!

I had an amazing experience getting my tattoo with Angie! She is an outstanding artist and did such a great job. Not only was the environment welcoming and friendly but everything was very clean and well taken care of. I will happily be coming back for my tattoos in the future.

I had my nose pierced elsewhere and was having a ton of issues with it. The original studio was unhelpful, so I was a walk-in at splash of color one day. Andy helped me, and was wonderful. Extremely knowledgeable about piercings, explaining that the jewelry I had been given originally wasnt safe for a fresh piercing which is why I was experiencing so much discomfort. He explained all the steps he was taking prior to doing them, and made the process as painless as possible. Within 24 hours, my piercing was astronomically better, and I havent had any issues since. Would 100% go back here for future piercings.

Just got snake bites from Andy, took maybe 10 minutes. He explained all of the proper aftercare and precautions well before it was done, and answered any questions I had. Very professional and laid back. He made sure everything was lined up how I wanted and explained the whole process and made it very streamlined and easy. This is my first lip piercing and it didnt hurt as bad as biting your lip while eating, and Im extremely happy with the service, Ill definitely be going back.

Any tattoo I’ve ever had I’ve gotten at Splash Of Color. It’s a clean, professional studio with great talent. Many people complain about their steep prices, but the price includes the experience. You don’t feel nervous about the cleaning practices or the talent in the shop. You know you are always going to get a quality product. My artist is Cali, and I will never go to a different artist. He is soft spoken, kind, and brings you through the process step-by-step. He is a talented guy and prices you reasonably. If you don’t fill your whole time slot, he won’t charge you for the whole slot (unless your tattoo takes under the hour minimum). I’ve had nothing but great, professional experiences at Splash Of Color. I can’t recommend their tattoo services more.

I talked my mom into getting her ears pierced again, it has been years since she could wear earrings and there was concern about metal reactions. I took her into this location as I had heard really good things, and those good things were VERY true. She had a wonderful experience, next to no pain and was thrilled with the look. Her healing has been great, and when it is time for my daughter to get hers done, this is definitely our place.

I have gotten two tattoos from Splash of Color, from two different artists. Both tattoos look amazing and the artists that did them were fantastic to work with. The shop is clean and they are all very professional. They are also very good at explaining things, especially the aftercare to make your tattoo look amazing once it heals

Ive been going to Splash for about 6 years now. Perry has done all my beautiful tattoo work and Andy/Renee have done all my awesome piercing work. The artists and piercers are talented, personable professionals who you can always count on to guide you and take the necessary time and care to make it a wonderful experience. The front desk crew are just as knowledgeable and always a joy. Exceptionally clean place and exceptionally cool people.

I have been going to Splash for over 5 years now. I have had all my tattoos done here as well as most of my piercings. Their customer service is always great, the establishment is very clean and they know what they are doing there. I see a lot of people talking about their high prices but you get what you pay for, and what you pay for is an amazing tattoo that you will have on your body for the rest of your life. Im so thankful that I have found a tattoo studio that takes pride in their work and makes sure that they keep their work space clean. I love Splash and I always recommend it to anyone who asks where they should go and get a tattoo/piercing!

Ive worked with Andy on stretching my ears and dealing with a sudden metal allergy for over a year now, and he recently did my septum piercing. He has never been anything short of kind, patient, and professional. Ive worked with a number of piercers who were skilled and knowledgeable, but Andy is one of the few who are skilled, knowledgeable, AND have excellent bedside manners (for lack of a better term). Im always comfortable and never feel talked down to or patronized.The front desk staff are always kind, courteous, and willing to answer your questions.

I made an appointment here to get my septum pierced because I had heard so many positive things about Splash of Color. I was HIGHLY disappointed. Kenny was my piercer, and while he was knowledgable about his work he was EXTREMELY condescending and rude. He continuously snapped at me when I asked questions about the piercing and seemed agitated with me throughout the entire process. I was also told initially that the total cost of the procedure (including jewelry) would come to about $130, but when I paid, they told me it was actually $145. THEN I was charged a convenience fee for paying with a card, which brought my total to $154. Overall, I left the shop feeling like Id made a mistake. While the receptionist was kind and the environment was clean, Im not sure I will return here for any future work.
