Divine Tattoo and Body Piercing

My husband and I went in tonight to get last-minute tattoos. The people were so nice and patient with us, especially with me since it was my first tattoo. My artist was amazing and really listened to what I wanted. Definitely would want to go again.

Today I took my daughter to Divine Tattoo to get her ears pierced. To show her how it works, I got my cartilage pierced. The two that assisted with that were amazing but after watching me get my piercing, my daughter got scared and started to cry. Allowing her 30 mins to get her nerve back, she still was not sure. She didnt want to leave but wasnt ready to get her piercing done and asked for more time. We decided we would try again another time. Right as we were about to leave, one of the tattoo artists said the screaming needs to stop. First off that was rude and unprofessional. Second she never once screamed. Was she crying yes but never screaming. Needless to say, we wont be going back.

I just want to express my gratitude to all the nice folks at this parlor. Not only do they have the best artists in our area, but this is a very warm and welcoming space. The folks who work here are extraordinarily talented and they are genuinely kind and good-hearted people (with delightfully raucous senses of humor to boot!) When I’m there I feel like family. Over the years I’ve been tattooed both by Mike and Nicholas and their work is second to none. If you like Asian tattoo work, see Mike. If you love American Traditional, see Nicholas. I’ve been to a number of artists in my time, but these two are my absolute favorite. In fact, I like them so much I won’t ever go to see anyone else. Whether you’re looking for an artist to complete your first tattoo, or whether you’re an old hand at being tattooed, you won’t be disappointed. One further point of joy each time I visit is spending time chatting with Nicholas’ wife, Rebecca; an extraordinary talent in her own right, though of wholistic healing variety! She performs any number of important functions at the shop and I sware I come to visit her as much as I do to get tattooed. Seriously, look no further. This is the place to be.

For my First tattoo I was so scared but I had a great artist and that was Zarah she knew exactly what she was doing and she was so focused that when I looked at my tattoo I was in love I would recommend Zarah she is amazing and staff members are amazing

My daughter went to get her belly button pierced, well the piercer told her she had to have a floating navel... Which whatever.. But the jewelry that was provided was not big enough to accommodate for swelling. I was a licensed piercer for 13 years, and I know a botched piercing when I see one. You didnt have the proper size jewelry, and you went ahead and did it anyway. When she called to ask for advice, you gave us the excuse that your piercer broke her foot... You just didnt want to own up to your mistake... And you referred her to another parlor all together. Shes had to take it out because her belly swells so much the jewelry is embedded in the hole its self. Totally unprofessional, and you will be hearing from me soon.

I went here for years and have had five tattoos done that are very well done and I love very much. The artists are very talented and I have no issue with the artist’s talent. I would say they would give you a great tattooBut..My issue is how I went in to get a tattoo and a cover up appointment. I went in, showed the tattoo I wanted covered along with the tattoo I wanted to have done. We discussed it and I gave them my number to call me or text me. I never got a response. I thought maybe since it was busy they simply lost track. I contacted them again through messaging, same conversation, gave my information again.. again no follow up. I went in a month later and brought my mother in who wanted two half sleeves. She needed to discuss getting a tattoo when on blood thinners and the tattoo artist and her discussed her needs and her special exceptions (meds). The person got my mother’s information and the person was told to call or text anytime as soon as possible. I talked to a female artist (her name escapes me) again about what I wanted with the cover up and the other tattoo I wanted. I gave her my phone number and made sure to message through Facebook. I again was not called or texted or given any sort of response. The straw that broke the camel’s back was my mother never got a call or text and she called twice. She ended up going to another artist and it made me look bad.I felt unimportant and like they didn’t want to work on me. I have been a loyal customer since 2013 when I started going here. I really loved going here because the friendliness and atmosphere but it wasn’t the same anymore and am so disappointed and let down by the unprofessional behavior of the artist and people I talked to. I decided to go to another shop. I don’t understand why they just were so dismissive of me when I had 1,000+worth of tattoo work and my mother’s tattoos were just around the same price.I have never felt so unwanted. I’m not new to tattoo shops. I have 15 tattoos and was hoping to get my last few from them.I can’t express how sad and disappointed I was and am.If I could recommend one major thing, I would highly recommend following through with the customers and make them feel wanted. I have always been respectful and have brought in people before to try and throw business their way.Sorry for the book but I wanted to cover everything.

I am in town from NC, and wanted a tattoo. I was referred here by a family member. Everyone was so friendly, the shop was clean, and the prices were on point. My tattoo turned out better than envisioned. After my tattoo, I questioned the nose rings because I wasn’t happy with my current ring. The piercer was so helpful and really cared about finding a solution for me. She hooked me up with a new ring. I can’t say enough good things about this place.

Zarah was amazingly accomodating with my low pain tolerance. She has done two pieces for me, and they have both come out beautiful. Despite my jerking and flinching at my back tattoo (because back tattoos hurt!!!) It came out clean. Ill post more pictures when I go back to get it shaded!She has also done a piece on my forearm and I absolutely love it!

I got my Medusa pierced here. Pain was high, but so worth it. I walked in, got greeted right away, and got taken back almost right away too after paperwork. The place is very sterile looking, all fresh stuff. The girl had blue hair, she was so amazing. She was so knowledgeable and so friendly, she made the experience super relaxed and fun. I went back a few weeks after and got a shorter bar to put in. Again, got greeted right away and they were all so friendly. Would recommend this place.

Ive had four tattoos done by four different artists and Jake Kinsey is only one I plan on going back too. My husband and I both receive tons of complements on the work weve had done by him. His attention to detail is great. The color in my piece had stayed vibrant despite my pieces from other artists fading quickly. Id reccomend him to anyone looking for great work and cant wait to get some more awesome pieces from him!

I went in for ear piercings. Love love how I can just walk in anytime and get it done fast and easy. There is no wait because they have a person that does tattoos and another for piercings. Clean facility. The girl that does my piercing always does a clean thorough job. She also asks if the piercing is placed the way you want it before she begins. Consults you on how to keep it clean as well. A little pricey for me but well worth it!

Mike was very pleasant and did an amazing job on my tattoo. The shop was busy but still greeted their customers in a timely manner. Clean and good atmosphere.

I just recently got my nose pierced here and I would 100% go back. The girl who does piercings was very nice and professional. She has a very clean workspace, and she spent a goood amount of time sterilizing everything. She also changed her gloves 3-4 times during the process to keep everything clean.

Great tattoo! Horrible customer service. I called to make an appointment. The girl on the phone said they didnt take appointments. So I showed up. They asked if I had an appointment. Ended up waiting 1 hour because they, in fact, do take appointments. Great, awesome artists. Front counter is terrible. Rude, snooty, acts like youre wasting her time when shes the one who wasted my time.

Nicholas Green has tattooed me twice. I couldnt be happier with the outcome. Nicholas is professional, easy going. He made me comfortable right away. He is very personable and a true master of his craft. I will be back for more art.

Ive had three piercings done by Nick (helix, naval and tragus) as well as 2 (lobes and helix) on my daughter and weve never had any problems with him, his work, or the piercings. Hes very good at explaining everything. Very professional, clean, and friendly.

Was able to walk in just to ask for a quote and he was able to knock out my small tattoo that day in about 30 mins. Very professional, good work, fair prices and good environment. Cant wait to make an appointment for my next one. 🙂

Had a tattoo done by Jake and my husband did also..mine has a giod bit of detail and is watercolor...I am in love with it and get complimented a lot on it. And I will be going back there for the rest of the work id like done. I had a very enjoyable time and am very happy with my piercing and tattoo.

I got a double nose piercing done in late September. I had multiple problems with them that they never actually helped me with. I did everything they said and yet the still ended up getting infected. The piercer was super sweet, but she also placed them wrong and they wanted me to repay to get them done again. I went into a different piercing place and they said she had pierced them incorrectly as well and the new piercing place said she probably did something wrong that caused an infection

A year ago I got my tongue pierced and I love it. I got my nipples pierced about a week ago and a girl with blue hair pierced them, one is extremely crooked and the my skin is now growing Iver the piercing bar, the one piercing looks great. Just looking out for someone.

Just went earlier today to get one of my earlobe piercings. They did an amazing job, I would highly recommend them.

Nick did a memorial tattoo for my mom and sister and it’s way better than I anticipated. He was friendly professional and upfront. Would very highly recommend Divine Tattoo.

My 10 year old got turned down for an ear piercing session. How unprofessional for business. Look at the mom that was with her like she was stupid. Rude place. I will never give this a place an acception to get business done. TERRIBLE.

My friends daughter wanted to get her ears pierced and they say she needs her birth certificate on top of her ID... even though shes 18 years old. So then they also wanted a parent with her with ID and birth certificate. It doesnt make sense.

Am very upset I ever got tattoed here!!! the artist jake did or tried to do a cover up and i should have left the original tattoo there! first of all you can still see the original tattoo ,and I was charged alot more than another shop (marvel) qouted me but i was refferd to divine by a friend who was tattooed by rob and is awesome!! I definatly would not refer anyone here its a biker tattoo shop that does biker crap work and I could swear that he was on somthing when he tattooed me..!! my cover up is a disaster that im more embarresed of than the original..im having marvel fix it and now have almost a grand in it. I warn you to go to a real custom tattoo shop. not a biker flash shop!!!

Asked Jake to fix my tattoo from another artist, he added onto it and you can still see the tattoo underneath and one of the heart loops is messed up beyond repair. I even went back to see if he could fix it and all he did was darken the color. NEVER again.

Worst place ever the lady that does the piercings messed up my lip so bad she claims she knew how to do the ASHLEY and she did not know how she use the wrong jewelry and went in so wrong went to get a second opinion on my lip and the way she looked before I even told her what was wrong blew me away she is the worst ever and wont be going back for ANYTHING she needs to go to school for it or just say she dont know how instead of trying to make an extra buck Im so very unhappy and guess what she wont give me my money back
