Juicy Tattoo and Piercing

Well this place was a serious disappointment. I go in to get a consult of some flowers ( July) and Ivy hoping to have it done before my vacation, that wasn’t the case which is fine. So we scheduled an appointment late August to have it done. During that time I decided I wanted something different versus the flowers. My idea I wanted was well thought out on my head. I felt it would represent who Iam more than flowers. So I’m thinking I can go in and basically discuss what I my vision is in my head and Daisy would be able to sketch it up either on paper or digitally, ya know like most real artists do. But nope!! I drove all the way from Mishawaka to sit there and look at a bunch of google and Pinterest images on an iPad basically her telling me to find image pieces and she would some how put them together to create this tattoo. That entire process of having to break down what I wanted was extremely overwhelming to me. Not to mention she kept picking crap I didn’t like!! I was getting increasingly frustrated. While I’m trying to explain this she proceeded to tell me she doesn’t know how to draw. WHAT??!! How in the fk .. so you steal images off the internet and use editing software to make it your own?? Gtfo.. at that point I’m ready to leave. So another appointment was made for 3 weeks out. I’m supposed to go home and magically send all these photos of my vision. I thought about it and decided to eliminate the bulk of my tattoo and just do lightning. Easy right? So I send a message saying this with zero response. I waited over 24 hours and nothing. So I send another message asking if I have the right number and nothing. At this point I’m done with this unprofessional tattoo person who claims to be an artist. I cancel the appointment and ask for the $60 deposit we paid wayyyyy back in July! This deposit we were told was to hold the appointment and it would go towards the fee. We were never told it was non refundable! So daisy responded to my cancellation request in a very unprofessional manner. Telling me how I changed my mind to many times and wasted her time when she could have worked on someone else etc etc… changed my mind?? A tattoo is for LIFE and wouldn’t a reputable artist know this and have better understanding? Well not this chick!! Wasted her time?? I drove from Mishawaka to Goshen with $1000 on hand in cash thinking I was getting a tattoo. We were there maybe 40 mins looking through her old iPad full of copyrighted pictures!! Give me a break chick.. I would never EVER recommend this place to anyone. She refused to refund us the $60 and isn’t even a real artist! Go be a farmer Daisy!! Stop stealing money from people and images off the internet. It makes sense now why River is the way he is towards you. Smh.. That hun is called KARMA.

No need to go anywhere else...Fully stock for all Tattoos and Piercing needs...the most artistic people we know...you can even buy some art work.

Extremely clean and fresh studio! Gorgeous interior decor with highly comfortable seating area. My daughter had a nose piercing and the kind artist performing the job made her feel at ease through the entire process. I very highly recommend visiting for a high quality and affordable piercing! The tattoo art I saw while there was also impressive!

I would absolutely love to give 5 stars because Darci is an amazing artist and piercer. Shes done 2 of my tattoos with perfection but this last tattoo I recieved was from a different artist there and I had to go back as soon as it was healed because of lines not connecting and some were too light. He tried to charge me again for the touch up of lines he missed. I should have doubled or triple checked before I left the first time but I didnt. He should have done the same though. After I told him I thought I already paid enough the first time (700), he stopped cleaning my arm up and left a lot of inkatone my tattoo. I recieved only line work, no shading, no colors, just black on my forearm and was in my opinion extremely overcharged. If I would have gone to someone who did tattoo by the hour, I would have spent about 200 less. The tattoo itself is decent and what I wanted. Hes not terrible at what he does but could use some improvement and socialize better.They place is clean and cute. I wont be returning though.

Very professional!! Got a beautiful tat from Darcy , then went back to have my kids ears pierced. River also did really good work on my brothers tat. Love them!!

This owner dacri is the scum of this planet she verbally abuses her workers she comments on their bodies and on top of that she’s dirty leaving dirty clothes and cups and food all over her shop she has stolen money from her son since he was 16 years old he is now 25 it’s heart breaking to say the least

First snd foremost.. Darcy and river and not good tattoo artist.y experience there was awful. the quality of work that comes out of there is so bad that I feel sorry for the people getting tattooed there 🥺 I cant believe anyone would actually think the tattoo looks good j mean no lines connect they never finish the tattoo only do lone work thats shaky and not good and tell u to come back weeks later to finish overall the skill level of tattoos is low and garbage if u ask me horrible place to go get a tattoo

Excellent environment! Amazing and caring customer service! Prices are reasonable! A great friend of mine has started here under the tutelage of River and she loves the atmosphere as well! Darcy is fantastic, organized and extremely kind! Everyone here is absolutely amazing!!!! Extremely clean with a magnificent layout as well! Laid back but professional at the same time!

Would love to get my next tattoo here, have seen quite a bit of the work that he does and it is amazing. Have had 2 different kinds of piercings done here and always very clean and informative. Would definitely go back here again.

Stopped by today and got a second piercing on my ear lobe.Everyone was friendly and the shop was very clean. I was a bit nervous about having a needle piercing instead of a gun. But It was quick and basically painless! Tiffany was very gentle and did a great job! They have this grandma seriously thinking of coming back for a tattoo!!!Thanks!!!

Got my Industrial bar one friend a nose ring and the other one not sure what you call it. Great place! Clean and each time she opend up mew tools out of it packaging. Great tattoo artist which is her son.

I give them one star bc it seemed like they where in a rush and there shop was dirty they didnt do a good job at all. I will never go to these place again!! And I did take care of the tattoo they dont know how to tattoo!! Keep running ur mouth..and I will take u to court!! Plus I do have pictures of ur shop!! Of how disgusting it was!!

Incredibly slow tattoo work by Darcy. She does great work, but then takes 100s of hours (not an exaggeration) on pieces that other artists take 6 hours to do. Don’t get me wrong, the artists I’m comparing her to do great work, just at a fraction of the time. She will get upset with this post, tell me something like I am stabbing her in the back, or that I’m lying, but she knows everything I say is the truth. She is stealing from her clients 80-180 dollars at a time for each session where she accomplishes next to nothing. She is habitually late, spends appointment time eating, piercing others, helping her son River put stencils on people, calling to handle any situation in her life not resolved, and then usually only gets 2-3 square inches of tattooing done in a 5 hour session. During the tattoo, I did not figure all of this out, but I will NEVER go back to her for another tattoo and neither should you.

After wanting this piercing for quite sometime and getting it done at another shop, who gave me an infection. I knew darn well I should’ve came to Juicy to see Darcy the 1st time! I did after my tongue healed and look I finally got the piercing I wanted. Never had no bad swelling! Never had to change out the jewelry! I was eating and talking the same night! My tongue just was healing fast and normal like it should! I went in 6 days after my piercing and got smaller jewelry and I’m so happy!Darcy is the best piercer in Northern Indiana, not the county, but overall the whole Northern Indiana! She’s clean, cute! And her business is to die for gorgeous, every girl dream! The floors and seats and lights are just amazing! But really Darcy is just the best! I’ve had all my piercings done by her, quick healing, and she’s super dope and cool! Any questions, she’ll answer them! I’ve gotten 6 piercings done by Darcy! No issues whatsoever! And she has pretty jewelry too! I get all my jewelry from her as well, I only wear the titanium jewelry in my piercings!I highly recommend this business for all your tattoos and piercings wants!!

Took my daughter on her 6th birthday to get her ears pierced and Darcy did an amazing job! She explained everything she was doing to her. My daughter didnt even flinch when the needle went through.

Had a piercing done here over the summer. The owner does the piercings herself and is extremely professional and nice. If you just walk in, the wait may be a little, but they acknowledge you immediately, and dont seem rushed once they start helping you. I had a great experience here, and will definitely be back!

Darcy was amazing with everything Ive needed her for. She helped me replace my dermal when the top fell out, remove it when I was over it. I got my nipples pierced, got beads and a lollipop, she turned the surveillance camera off. She was very professional and kind! Highly recommend!

Darc and crew are warm and friendly, the tattoo work is incredible!!! Dont let the bad reviews fool you, the artists are patient and detailed oriented. No black outlining, the tattoos look as though they were painted. I will never go anywhere else for my tattoo needs.

Came in to get matching tattoos for three family members. The experience was good overall. The group had no idea what they wanted, the owner helped with the concept art and design process all the way. My friends (the family members) all go their tattoos done by a skilled young man named River. He was good but took his time to make sure he got it right. The shop manager for the night was also his mom she checked in between each session to make sure everything was on track. Overall a nice clean shop that does good quality work at a very reasonable price point at a medium pace :)

I have been a client of Darcys for 5 years and I wouldnt go anywhere else!! She is a wonderful artist, a very caring person and runs a family oriented shop. The negative reviews that have been recently posted about there being too much drama are posted by the people who are causing said drama and shouldnt be a reflection on Darcy or her shop, they are just trying to smear Darcys good reputation. For those who state they havent gotten a good tattoo from her or her son River, let me just say that River is a new artist and is learning the craft, if you give him a chance to work on you and you dont like the tattoo, go back in for touch ups, they are free for a reason. All tattoo artists do touch ups because everyones skin is different and depending on your skin type, medications you may take and how you take care of your tattoo, some tattoos dont take the ink well....ALL serious tattoo collectors know this!! Instead of bad mouthing Darcy or her son River about a problem tattoo, go back in for a touch up and give them a chance to fix the problem.

Clean and professional shop! Darcy is an amazing artist. No flash or stencils , every tattoo is hand drawn. Color is amazing. Do not let the negative reviews fool you. You will not be disappointed with Darcy!

There is a reason i have been going to Darcy since i was 18. She is the best! And i will forever continue going to her :) awesome enviroment that one feels at home in. Her and her crew do an amazing job making clients feel at ease. Darcy is very knowledgeable and makes sure to answer any questions you may have. River did an amazing job on my autism awareness tattoo that i got for my son. I am always getting compliments on it :) all in all juicy tattoo is the place to go. I got a faith piercing, heard from a nurse that it helps with headaches, migraines, but with this nurse she had sinus headaches, and she had no more headaches. So after first ear was done, no more sinus headache, Ive been suffering almost all winter, yup this seems worth it. Place was clean,people nice, helpful and knows their business. My daughter got her second holes pierced also she was amazed she didnt feel a thing. We are very happy! Thanks!

Excellent work - great detail!! Custom piece, good size, good price. I have had 3 done now by Darc and they are all excellent. I have had some other work done elsewhere in the past - but not anymore. I will get Darc to cover them up!! Very friendly atmosphere and good people to work with - top notch!!

I have gotten work done by River and Darc and nothing compares! They’re very accommodating and strive to serve their customers with the best service. Juicy tattoo has been the best experience for me. Ive been to other places and nothing not even piercings were as good as darcs. Her son being another artist who has also done some work on me is wonderful. Both are very talented artist. The detail is amazing, people stop me just to ask about my tattoos. Ceirras comment failed to mention that she came in knowing he was new at the time and that she tried tattooing herself first and it was nothing but a huge scar. She also failed to mention that they gave her a free touch up but she never showed up. In order to fix it completely being that bad you would need to come back. So for all of you downing this shop how about telling the full story and not blaming others.

The atmosphere was bright and clean and everyone was very nice! We went to have our cartilage pierced and were in and out of there in 25 minutes! Great prices and wonderful people.

They do great work but can be costly when it comes to supplies and getting work done.The business has responded that they do not sell supplies. I guess it was another Juicy Tattoo that we have been going to for my daughters nose rings and ear hoops and such.

Heard good things about this place from google reveiws. Her website looks like it was made in the 90s, but you cant expect good web design from a tattoo artist.Before you talk to her, look at the stuff posted on the walls. Look at the praying hands, she can barely keep a straight line. Well, praying hands suck so I wasnt about to base my judgement on that. Looking at all of her other stuff, well its not that impressive. A lot of hype for this artist. Dont let the hype speak for the artwork, let the work speak for the work....And it doesnt say a lot of good things.Spoke with her for a few minutes a couple weeks ago, friendly enough. high prices and long wait times, from the artwork I looked at, it doesnt justify prices or wait time.Shops clean, pool table to play while you wait. Sorry, but the works sub par for the price, the lines and transitions are on the weak side for the area. You can check it out yourself, but honestly, better stuff out there.

I got one snakebite done somewhere else and came to see Darcy so she could do my other snakebite. She lined it up almost perfectly with the other one I already had done. So a few months later I came back to get my tongue pierced and she put the top straight down the middle but the bottom part is crooked. How can you make a tongue ring crooked when you have clamps?

Darc and river are just down to earth cool people,they do awesome amazing work and i will continue to use them as the studio i go to full time,getting a full forearm piece done and its looking amazing,so come in check em out and get some great awesome work done by two of the greatest people Ive ever met

I thought it was nice and the people were nice until i got the worst tattoo i ever had. It was completly different then what i asked for, for some reason he just decided to do his own thing even after i told him how i wanted it, I do NOT recommend

Darc is an awesome ARTIST. And like most artist you need to be patient and let her do her art. Darc has done my last four pieces. She is currently working on a half sleeve for me.Darc works a 12+ hour shift with little help. So its reasonable to take ten mins. to grab a quick bite.To the lady the commented on Darcs lines: 1) shes not drawing CARTOONS 2) she just did the molecule Dopamine for me and it was strait where it was supposed to be and round in the circles.I put her to the test caus I new she could do it!

Darc is a good artist shes currently working on my sleeve and im loving the artwork. She is the best in the area in my opinion. Witch hammer, liquid ink, and any other shops in the area are literally garbage. They say the work speaks for itself so if yall wanna see some look up anyone who got a tattoo from Darc. My gf got spider bites from witch hammer on cr 6 and then pierced it crooked af and Darc fixed it for free and only charged my gf for buying some new jewelry.

Very professional and creative and welcoming. Very clean. They also maintain a Red Cross certification for blood donors. I will def be back for another tattoo!

Horrible tattoo cover up. A 16yr old with barely any practice. I had to go back and get it touched up and it still looks horrible. You can see my original tattoo under it and the outline is all botched up and hideous filling. Never getting a tattoo at juicy tattoos again and I dont recommend it!

Did a good job with my nose piercing I’m going back to get my belly pierced.

Ink faded in less than 6 months scared took over 2 months to heal. Make an appointment set around for hours to get tattooed if it happens at all.

She had another artist working there and fired him. I played money in advance to start it and she wont give me my money back. So dont pay anything upfront or you might not get it back
