I’ve been tattooed by nearly every one of the artists at Sunken Ship and I’ve NEVER been disappointed. Everyone is incredible, and the owners Matt & Heidi are such good people! 10/10! Always a great experience.

I heard good things about this place and I have been looking for a new artist to do some cover up work on my arms for a decade. I was not disappointed. Matt is excellent. Highly recommended. I could not be happier with the way the foo dog turned out and am impressed that you cannot see any hint of my old tattoo. Cant wait to do the other shoulder.

This place is awesome. Ask for Josh if you want your tattoo to look beautifully done by a professional. Josh did an amazing work on my tattoos. His personality and professionalism are deeply appreciated, especially if youre getting a tattoo for the first time. I highly recommend Josh for his artistic view and think out of box creativity!

Came in last week for sibling tattoos and Josh was quick, funny, and made the whole process quick and easy. 12/10 will recommend. Will also be coming back myself for more of his art 🤘

Keane did an excellent job on our tattoos. My sister-in-law and I left very happy. Easy to work with and very professional. He was able to do a great cover up for us as well with a flat on the wrist. Highly recommend.

The store was charming. The staff were quite helpful, and the piercer was very knowledgeable. I came to buy a septum ring for my birthday since I had lost the last one. Up until the paying part, it cost me $60 to get a new ring, and I did not mind paying for that, but what I minded was the piercers attitude for not giving her a tip for only installing and stretching my septum hole. You’re not entitled to a tip if I don’t want to give one. How outrageous.

DO NOT GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE FOR YOUR TATTOOS. Everyone here has wicked skills, but Keane is my absolute favorite! He is willing to listen to you and work with you on what you want and actually collaborate on tattoo ideas. Ive been here twice just for him - one tattoo and one cover up - and I will DEFINITELY be back!!

If you are looking for the best place to get a tattoo! This is the place! I emailed several months in advance with design details! Communication was spot on! Arrived at appointment and Matt looked at emails at the appointment and then waited while he drew everything! I love the clock and bead work I asked for! The symmetry and line work is spot on! Went in there because we thought it was a thrift store but its two things in one..The first part is a thrift store and then the back part is a tattoo shop. My boyfriend got a tattoo there and the guy that did it his name was Josh. He did a excellent job. Thank you Josh. My boyfriend liked it so much that he is going back for another one..

This place is amazing! Its good vibes from the moment you walk in.If youve never been there, you might be a little thrown off by the fact that its a vintage store in the front.Everyone in there is super friendly and helpful. Ive gotten piercings and tattoos done there, and so have a lot of my friends and family. They take the time with you, and want you to be happy with what youre getting done. And their prices are reasonable, and in some cases even less than other shops.Anytime anyone asks me about my tattoos, I proudly tell them I got them at Sunken Ship, and that I wouldnt go anywhere else.

Super cute, clean and friendly. I’ve been in some tattoo places that looked pretty sketchy, but that is definitely not the vibe here.

The shop is impeccably clean, the staff is so amazingly nice and comforting/encouraging when youre in that last hour stretch! Any artist there is a safe bet! My artist is Matt, who happens to be the owner as well. I dont trust anyone else to do my big pieces! So happy and thankful me and family found him! Forever grateful for you and Heidi!

I haven’t gotten a tattoo since I was 18 years old (I’m 31 now), and as you can imagine I was a bit nervous. I was recommended Sunken Ship from a close friend and noticed they were highly rated online with great work. I gave them a call and asked if they might have any availability sometime soon. To my surprise they had availability right then in there so I hurried on over. The whole staff was absolutely amazing! Very kind and went over everything thoroughly. Keane was my tattoo artist and was absolutely great. I LOVE how this turned out! Extremely satisfied with overall experience and adding another 5 ⭐️Thanks Keane!!

Had my first tattoo there and one of the best done. All around good environment. And the artist was Brian the brain McCormick. But this tat of the knights templar was done bu Mike and done with great detail.

I gave 5 stars because they gave me excellent service, with an excellent tattoo. They treated me politely, and made me feel comfortable about getting my first tattoo. Definitely will be coming here for future tattoos. Worth the wait for the outcome 😁

My sister and I saw Levi for two very different tattoos. The entire experience was fantastic.The woman who booked us was very helpful talking size and placement, even making suggestions when my sisters didnt fit where she wanted it. Knowledgeable and professional.When we came in for our work she had changed the design she wanted a bit so it would fit where she wanted it, and they were really helpful getting it just right. Mine was two different handwritten phrases and he cleaned them up and actually made adjustments to the color blending I didnt picture and it is perfect! He spent a lot of time on placement making sure they were just right and that we were happy, and they turned out perfectly!I found Levi by word of mouth, and Im so glad I did! His work is gorgeous.

Me and my daughter went in and saw Keane who did an amazing job making her feel comfortable for her first tattoo. We definitely will be going back to him! Love the atmosphere there!!!

I will never go to anyone but Janell for any of my piercing needs! Got my helix pierced about 6 months ago and did a jewelry switch out about a month ago and I couldn’t be more happy. I am invested in getting more piercings just because of the kind energy she gives off. My husband wants to get a tattoo and we know where we will be going for that as well! I cannot speak highly enough of the kind, wonderful people at sunken ship. Janell is a true treasure.

Sawblade is a phenomenal artist. I’ve gone to him for some custom pieces on my traditional sleeve and every time he creates the perfect design from my references. Most recently he did this traditional portrait in which he freehanded the leaves around the piece to fit perfect around my other tattoos, & they came out looking like they were stenciled on. 10/10 would recommend

I recommend Sunken Ship to anyone. Every time I walk in the staff are really friendly, it’s always very clean, they take their sanitation/safety protocols seriously, they listen to you and your concerns. On another note I went in to see if I could get an industrial, I love that my piercer Janell was honest and told me I wasn’t suited for it. She ended up coming up with a different idea to make it work. I’ve also gotten one tattoo from them from Myke and was really impressed by his art, I still love my tattoo and can’t wait to come back.

My mom went in for her first tattoo with Kayla today and had an amazing experience. Kayla was very patient and made my mom feel comfortable. the final result was perfect, and my mom is ready for more!I got my ears pierced by Kali, who did a wonderful job. With the exception of a single lobe, these were my first piercings. I had a lot of questions about the metal, healing, and aftercare, which she answered in detailed. Ill definitely be back once these heal.

I got tattooed by Josh R. he was light handed and did an amazing job! The line work was amazing! I’ll definitely be back to get more work from him and this shop in the future!

From the moment I walked in to Sunken Ship, I was greeted by friendly faces and as I looked around at the facility I could instantly see that the establishment was greatly cared for. Clean, sanitary and comfortable. My highly trained and certified piercer was knowledgeable and super friendly and patient with me as I took forever picking out my piercing jewelry. She even recommend pieces that would save me some moneys and that was extra to me. I highly recommend this tattoo and piercing facility to everyone. Very friendly place! Josh did a touchup of an old tattoo that was 22 years old. Looks like new. Then did a new piece for me. I’ll be back for sure. They have a lot of good artists here

I loved the people and atmosphere and the price. But the tattoo I got from them didnt hold up. After it healed the lines are uneven some parts are much darker or lighter than others. Theres small chunks being missing completely from some of the lines. Yes it was cheaper but i wouldve rather paid $100 more than get anything from there again.

Their piercer Kali is very knowledgeable and extremely helpful! Most of my piercings are from her and they are exactly what I wanted! She is quick and makes it as painless as she can for you. I appreciate how comfortable she makes you feel during the hole process. I also love the front desk person Sara, who is very helpful and is really funny!

Came here for my first tattoo. I was able to contact through Facebook messenger. The front desk lady made it very easy for me to get it set up and made sure I got what I wanted! My artist was Levi and I really loved how my tattoo came out. The store is super clean, had great music to distract from the pain, and the energy was super good and comfortable. I was nervous at first and was able to look through the vintage shop up front to ease the nerves but once I got to talking to my artist, all the nerves went away! Great place and am excited for my future tattoos! Super fair prices too!

I absolutely LOVE this place! I *almost* couldn’t find it at first due to it being right behind Hot Rod Heidi’s vintage closet, but once I did, it didn’t disappoint. This is only the second place I’ve been to to get a tattoo, but the first place already pales in comparison. A clean work environment with a staff that is warm, welcoming, informative, and helpful. I came in with a photo I had found online as inspiration and was recommended an artist (Jay Heath) for it, and he drew up his own version of it that stayed true to what I was looking for. I got a tattoo in honor of my daughter, one of the most meaningful pieces of art I’ll ever have put on my body, and Jay didn’t disappoint. Their pricing is what I consider to be standard for a tattoo shop and I still got my tattoo done at a great price. Absolutely coming back here once I have the funds to afford my next piece :)

We came here after having a negative interaction at deep roots and they treated us so well!! I got double lobe piercing and my friend got her helix pierced. The owner Heidi did our piercings and was very good about making sure we knew how to take care of them as well as helping us decide what jewellery to get! She also was great about making sure we liked the placement before piercing.Their prices are good too, compared to deep roots, and they are very sterile about everything. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking at getting any type of piercing!

Savannah was super welcoming and you can tell she knows her trade well. I went in on a walk in basis and, even though they didnt have time to do my ink that day, she was very knowledgeable of other local shops to check out and was more than willing to schedule to complete my piece. I will definitely be going to this shop in the future, as from what I saw, this shop handles themselves in a v34y professional manner and takes pride in what they do.

Sunken Ship is the best place to go for piercings. We’ve been here multiple times for ears and nose piercing. Always a great experience! Piercing was quick and easy and their jewelry selection is great! Kali was very friendly and helped my daughter feel comfortable with the process!

Really a great place! Matt is the owner and has a beautiful, clean retro vibe going. The space is inviting and hes got some great artists in there with him. They are well staffed too; doesnt matter what genre youre looking for someone in the shop has it covered.The front entrance is Heidis Vintage Closet and its a retro clothing and accessories shop which really makes the environment fun.If youre looking for a welcoming and fun place with some great artists Id highly recommend checking them out.

Miguel Ortiz did mother-daughter tattoos for us last week. He was very good at planning out the tats from the picture we brought in, explained his procedures and after-care clearly. Miguel does beautiful work, and is a great guy to spend an afternoon with. I also had a piercing done with Heidi, and she made it a pleasant, stress-free experience. Squeaky clean shop with lots of interesting art and stuff to look at. Everyone was friendly and helpful. It had been 27 years since my first tattooing, and I had lots of questions. Pricing was very fair.

My husband and I originally chose sunken ship to go to for our many tattoo needs because we are impressed with all of the artists there and their quality of work. After our first appointment with Matthew though, it was clear that we had found our go-to guy. We have both gotten several pieces from Matthew, and look forward to each time we can go back and let him do his thing. He’s got a refreshingly light hand and doesn’t waste any time getting the job done with such talent and beautiful work. I’m so happy we found Matthew, I love the art he’s added to my body!

Getting a tattoo was a new experience for me. I never thought I would get one. But now I have two! Preston is awesome; hes so easy to work with and talk to. His work is amazing; Ive had many compliments. Everyone there is nice, and the atmosphere is comfortable and inviting. Definitely check this place out when considering a tattoo. Im already thinking of my next two!

Highly recommend Jay. Was visiting from out of state. Got matching tattoos with Mom and sister. Jay had a good sense of humor. He also had our tattoos already on the stencil for us which made me happy. I pay close attention to the environment and its cleanliness. Jay was VERY clean. I much appreciated that. He was thorough in my after home Care. And Im about 2 weeks post tattoo and my foot healed up great. Thank you Jay!!! Ill be back for more!

This shop was fabulous! Heidi, the piercer, the lady who assisted me was a great conversationalist, well informed, provided a great sounding board for what would be most aesthetically pleasing for my face and not afraid to tell me the potential detriments that some piercing are capable of. She was very professional and also funny to talk to as well as took her time during the procedure. I didnt feel like cattle. I would recommend her to anyone looking to get pierced.

I had my tragus done last November and it was a great experience. my friend and I came in to get piercing together for his bday. scheduling was easy, the piercer (Im sorry, I dont remember her name) was very nice and informative. I few weeks later. I had to come in and get my jewlery changed out for a glass piece for an MRI and that process was a breeze. Ill be coming back for my other tragus.

Sunken Ship has the most versatile artist on staff always! I have been coming to them for years to have my tattoos done and have followed them from their first shop, to the second shop on Broadway, and now onto their third shop on Hewitt. The staff is friendly, accommodating and easy going. Such wonderful people and unique place! PLEASE go to them for your tattoos, piercings, and vintage clothes!

I take an afternoon class in Everett and on a whim decided I wanted my nose pierced that day. I searched online and this place had great reviews so I stepped out of class to make an appointment and they could get me in right after class for a little nose stud. I drove right over and the paperwork was quick, chill environment, and my piercer was very patient with me since it was my first time getting anything on my face done. The only thing (which isnt even a big deal) was that I walked right by the shop because its in the back of a consignment shop so I was a little turned around haha. Would definitely go back!

Very nice experience with the front desk staff and the artists. Everyone was really nice! I came in for a flower piece I had brought in a picture that my friend drew for me to get tattooed and my tattoo ended up looking way different than my picture. Its not like my tattoo is bad looking, but its very different than what I had shown them.

Went in for my first jewelry change, and they were fast, clean, and nice. Even let my frozen self in before they were actually open. The lady who helped me was very educational, showed me how to safely change my navel jewelry, how to know if Im reacting to a new piece, and what to do if I do react. And it was only $5. I really liked this place and if I ever go for another piercing Im going here.

Preston is the best! The whole gang there is actually, so go find them and get some ink and metal! Ive seen almost everyone there work on myself or friends and their styles are amazing and their work is impeccable, beautiful, and truly one of a kind. I would go nowhere else for my ink or piercing needs. And I love how you have to really work to find their location 😁

Ive gotten two tattoos at this location, one by Preston and one by Jay. For one I love the location and the personality of the shop. You walk in and it is half a vintage antique shop and half tattoo shop (dangerous while waiting for your appointment lol). The person who works the front counter is so funny and really does give you the best person to do your tattoo based on the design and level of expertise. Overall a great shop with amazing artists. 😊

Amazing shop! Everything about it is one of a kind but familiar at the same time all artist do great work with their own style on it, this is one of few shops that you can literally get any thing from and always love the outcome. I am currently getting a sleeve done by Preston and his work and style are not matched by others every piece I get I fall in love with. I’ve gotten a couple of piercings at Sunken Ship, and every time I’ve left so impressed at how friendly and professional the staff are. The piercers are knowledgeable and make the process go by quick and easy. Definitely my go to spot for piercings and tattoos! Plus the shop is so damn cute!

I’ve been going here for almost 6 years and I’ve probably gotten 30 or so tattoos from Sawblade. I drive an hour each way because of the quality and affordability. I love this shop!

Ive been here for 2 tattoos my Morgan both very detailed and I love them! Morgan has such a great personality you can literally sit and talk about anything with her. She does amazing work and I will continue seeing her for all my future tattoos!

I got my belly button pierced last week by Heidi, and she was absolutely wonderful! I was terribly anxious and anxiety-ridden before I got it pierced and she was very patient and understanding. Then, after having it pierced, I instantly got faint-y from such high anxiety and blood pressure, and again, she was very kind and understanding. She took the time to make sure I was okay, provide me with water and snacks, and was very concerned, which was reassuring. She also provided me with a lot of important/helpful information, which you dont normally get when you get pierced- at least I havent. Very affordable, too! If you ever want to get a piercing, see her!

Love this place - everyone is on the level, honest, and down-to-earth. Love Preston Hawke; he has done all of my work and is super talented and just a great person. Heidi did a great job with the vintage store - I always find gorgeous pieces for photo shoots and day-to-day wear.

Clean shop, AMAZING artists at great fair prices based on each tattoo piece.Ive only had Matt Sawdon as an artist but have seen many other tattoos done by other artists on other people that look awesome too.Heidi is a rad piercer and of course her vintage shop next door is filled with such cute stuff!I have always recommended Sunken Ship to anyone and will always recommend them :D

This place is the best, I very highly recommend it. Ive seen 4 artists here and they were all awesome. The shop is clean, the artists are all really talented, the prices are reasonable, and the staff is amazing and helpful. The shop owners are fantastic. Ive come in with a solid design and Ive also asked the artist draw something up, both options are great. If you dont know who to see, ask the person at the counter to recommend an artist because theyll know which one is best suited for the style you want. Also check to see if the artist takes cash or card, because that varies.

Ive gotten four tattoos here, all from different artists from this shop and every tattoo turned out better then I could honestly imagine. I just got my 4th one yesterday they where able to fit me in as a walk in. They are extremely clean, there gloves touch you and the needle. If they have to touch anything else they take off there gloves, do what there doing and put new ones on. Im pretty my artist went through at least 6 pairs. They honestly treat there work space better then a doctors office. Everything is wiped down, cleaned and fresh. Needless are pre packed, sterilized and are not touched by anyone till its time to set up and are opened with gloves on. Every artist is focused on there work and seem open to challenges but will tell if adjustments need to be made to make sure your tattoo comes out the way it needs to. Prices are great and the receptionist are very sweet. Its the only tattoo shop Ill go to.

The lady who does piercings was very nice. The guys that were all in there had very limited interaction with us and we were there for over 3 hours. The work that was done was amazing but the bed side manner lacked.

Got a tattoo two weeks ago from Justin for my wife and I could not be happier with the outcome. I went in to the shop and showed Justin some pics of kinda what I wanted. I couldnt even imagine what he came up with in a million years. My wife absolutely loves it. She even loves Stanley. Justin also did a little tatoo for me while doing hers 😄. They both are healed up nicely. I recommend going here for your next tatoo.

Super knowledgeable staff. Took our daughter here after a local Monroe shop messed up her ear piercing with the wrong hardware. Needless to say, Sunken Ship knew exactly what to recommend. They provided the consultation at no charge, very kindly. Needless to say, we will spend our money at Sunken Ship in the future!

Went in for a consult. Shop was busy with lots of artists and customers lining up. Artists booked out months in advance which suggests they are doing something right. Staff were polite and informative. Looking forward to my scheduled consult with my favorite artist based on photo book references.

Though its been awhile since Ive had my most recent ink done, I wont go anywhere other than Sunken Ship and sit in Matts chair (and I live almost an hour away). The man is an old-school master with a great eye for detail and a steady hand. I cant wait to get back and finish my chest piece. I cant speak for other artists at the shop, but I know Matt wouldnt bring anyone in that wasnt good.

Great work from traveling artist Tim. Ill be booking time with him on his next visit. Place was way relaxed but not slummy. No problems recommending them to friends.

We had a wonderful experience with Heidi. She pierced my 9 yr olds ears. She spent the time explaining everything to her and making her comfortable. I highly recommend having kids having their ears pierced here along with adults.

I have had 3 large pieces done by Matt Sawdon, including a chest piece and two arm pieces. We are currently working on a 4th that Matt was able to fit in perfectly with an old existing tat and one of his pieces on my right arm. He was extremely patient with my nerves when I was getting the chest piece done, I was pretty scared Ha-ha!I really appreciate his ability to take an idea I have and turn it into a work of art. He has tons of natural talent, a great eye for color and on point technique. All of my work has healed very quickly with absolutely no problems at all. The entire staff is super friendly, none of the elitist drama one encounters in some shops. I wont get my work done anywhere else.

Went here back in 2011 for matching tattoos my mom and I got. the tattoo artist was very friendly :) will defiantly be going back for my next tattoo i plan on getting within a month or two. It was a two hour drive for me and it was worth every minute :)

I walked in a few months ago desperately needing a tattoo covered up and was able to get an appointment later that day.Sadly, the artist who tattooed me no longer works at the shop but my tattoo is great and healed wonderfully. The whole place is great - clean, friendly and awesome. I cant wait to go back for more!

Refused to do my tattoos, no reason, the first one was detailed, and the second was a basic wolf with tribal and they said it was out of their wheelhouse of skill, i later got the work done at the next shop no problems easy job. Not sure what the problem was i suggest looking elsewhere for your tattoo needs, the 2 stars are for just seeing the work they have done was decent not amazing what so ever.

Called and was able to schedule an appointment with sawblade, I really liked his work online. Hes a total sweetheart. I had scheduled two tattoos. Which I know puts additional time on his books. I called the next day and asked to just get one and to make sure to let him know. When I went in he had not heard that I only want one. He could have been angry ( I would have been, that could have opened up an opportunity to get someone else in) instead he just said ok no worries! With a smile on his face. Not only did he nail the tattoo I asked, he took that additional time to fix a previous tattoo. He was accommodating and smart and helped give his artistic opinion. I will be back Im so in love with my tattoos!! Thank you Sawblade!!

Great tattoo shop! They have great artists that do amazing work. I have been working with Sawblade over the last few years as he is doing two full sleeves of American traditional tattoos.

Very unprofessional business. They seemed very determined to bad mouth any other shop or artist outside the shop. I’ve been working with an artist the past few months and when he was no longer there they wouldn’t tell me where he went. Proceeded to try and book me with their artists which is very disrespectful. Some people like to stick with one artist. The environment is very awkward in this shop and I’m glad I found the artist I was working with at his new place. DONT GO TO SUNKENSHIP!!!

I researched tattoo shops and artists and found Amanda Riner here. I met her when I came in the shop to check it out and talked to her about what I was thinking. We emailed some ideas back and forth and I made an appt. to start my sleeve.Our first session was just under 3 hours, and I love how it turned out. Were already planning the next session. Amanda has a client for life.

I went to Sunken Ship to have a large cover up done. I had 2 large,ugly black tattoos on my arm. I didnt think it could be done.Long story short, the staff here is AMAZING. I now have a beautiful custom piece of art on my arm that I dont have to cover with long sleeves anymore!!!I was impressed with how friendly the staff was from the moment I walked in the door and consulted with Heidi and then through the process of being tattood by Matt (who is a total miracle worker!!)Im now planning my second piece and I just cant say enough good things about this shop and the awesome people that work here!!! Ill never go anywhere else.

Ive gone here for piercings and they are the best in my opinion. Awesome service and great employees - the owner is particularly amazing! Price ia just right and the care and attention is top notch every time.

After finding out the other day that my dad passed away, I was sitting here today thinking about how I wanted to celebrate his memory. Instantly I scribbled his initials on a piece of paper, and called to see if there was any availability. 15 minutes later, I was in Sunken Ship getting his initials tattooed behind my ear by Preston Hawke. Thank you for the great, and quick service. I now have a part of my dad with me for life.

The piercer here is really good and i feel comfortable gettinig pierced by him, i have a fear of needles and he lets me do my calm down routine before i get a piercing, he also helped me find a tattoo artist here that could do exactly what i wanted for my grandpas tattoo i decided to get on my forearm, both that tattooists and the piercer are excellent at what they do. i suggest this shop to all my friends and i take my family here to get piercings. I love the atmosphere its very unique and not all business. they can answer any question you have as well.

Super cute place! Love the vintage clothes in front and piercing/tattoos in back. Walked in and got moms nose pierced. Took no time at all and the staff was super fun! Will be back for sure.

They really didnt want my money or patronage. People standing around that obviously worked there but were too interested in other people getting tattooed or going on a communal smoke break to help with any jewelry needs.

Jordanna was great. I needed a piece redone and only had a vague idea what I wanted. She helped me figure it out and it looks awesome now.

- Updated -Weird experience.I went in this evening looking for a price quote on an overall modest piece - two small botanical pieces on each hand. At first, I was waiting in line before the woman at the counter (I think she was Heidi, from the pictures) asked Sam to come up and help me. When I asked Sam about what I wanted, he immediately discouraged me, explaining that most artists only do hands if youre pretty fully covered. I asked what that meant, and Heidi (?) said yeah, Samuel, whats covered? and he said pretty covered. I was wearing a cardigan and full length jeans, but what Sam couldnt see and didnt ask about was my extensive tattoo collection, or my experience working at a tattoo shop as a body piercer for years. He was totally condescending the entire time. The customer Heidi was helping sided with me, and asked why not just let the customer choose? and Heidi helpfully tried to explain that artists have reservations about tattooing people who may in the future lose jobs because of it. Fair, but I agree with the other customer - let me choose.Sam then got Tascar to consult with me, who was overall helpful, but still tried to discourage me and explain how painful and difficult tattooing hands are, even after I explained that I have many tattoos, including difficult areas like the lip and behind the ear. Im happy that Heidi and Tascar tried to be helpful, but overall, the experience was unpleasant. If an artist is uncomfortable working on a body part, thats fine, but I dont need to be condescended to about it. I would be happy to pay for their service otherwise. Its a shame, because by the looks of it, there are talented artists at this shop.Update:Heidi reached out to my to talk about my experience and apologized for any negativity. I appreciate it, and I have nothing personal against her or the artist. It was just an unfortunate example of artists and client not seeing eye to eye on a piece. It happens.

So it was my first ever tattoo... and wow it was done so so nicely and I had just emailed the design that I wanted and Miguel Ortiz is an amazing tattoo person since I did the tattoo was in Sanskrit and it was combined with 3 different designs but when I reached there Miguel was ready with the design that I wanted and it was perfect and it came out to be perfect too.. I’m really happy that I chose Sunken tattoo and the best part was it was done so smoothly.. thank you Miguel and thank you Sunken!!

Nifty little spot in the back of a store, looks cool, but they tried to tell us they couldnt do what we were asking and tried to upsell us. Got exactly what we wanted at the price we wanted at a different shop. Cant praise or complain of quality just didnt seem up to the simple task at hand.

Amanda did my tattoo & she did an amazing job at placing my tattoo in my place where it will blend with my future tats. Shes a total sweetheart, and works with what the costumer wants to a T. Im completely pleased with my tattoo!

I got inked last Saturday and it was awesome! I went there with some pictures and a concept and MATT worked his magic and produce a work of art. it is a very meaninfull tattoo and i would highly recomend it!!!! The best part was that im a local so I didnt had to get into Seattle traffic and pay parking!

Ive had two tattoos done by Preston, and my piercings adjusted once. I think they do good work, and theyre all very friendly and funny people.

Got my septum pierced and its completely crooked. Called and asked for a refund which was denied and told it must be my anatomy. Felt like the piercer was short and wasnt very friendly.

This place is amazing got some work done by sawblade and Gary loco, one was a scheduled tatt and the other was a walk in. Great place, very talented artist good prices too. Will definitely be back keep up the good work guys!

Late review but I got my first tattoo done by Preston in February and at first I loved it until it fully healed and some of the ink started bleeding and now its all splotchy with noticeably thick and thin lines and some lines arent even fully finishedIt looks like a child did it and Im kinda disappointed since he said it would be super clean and easy

Just got a tattoo there...i was really scared to honestly....Sam was doing my tattoo..and honestly he did a REALLY good job on my rose....he took time and made sure it was what I wanted and in the right spot...you Know there will always be good and bad artists whenever you go...so dont judge the place by One artist...be positive and trust...Sam was great tho..id go back there him any time..👍💙

Ive got tattoos from all over the country.this is a quality shop .the two tattoos I got here were clean and look good.they are exactly how I wanted them.however these were simple pieces so i cant speak for a real detailed piece.the people here are helpful as well going to get my 3rd and final tattoo at this shop very soon.

I went to sunken ship for a simple wrist tattoo of an infinity symbol with a word in it, and it is the worst tattoo I have ever gotten. The letters are all of different shades and different thickness, and the infinity symbol is an uneven curve with places missing any sort of ink. Im unsure of the other artists work there, but Preston Hawk did not do a good job on my tattoo.
