This is the only place I go to for tattoos. Mike Kodiak McKenzie is an amazing tattoo artist, and Ally and Frank are both amazing as well. The shop is clean, the people are great, and the tattoos are beautiful. Have to go somewhere else for piercings now because they no longer have a piercer, but this is the spot for tattoos. Absolutely phenomenal. 10/10 would recommend.

Love this place frank is a stand up guy. Mike has done most of my work. The atmosphere is relaxing. Cant wait to finish my piece.

Mike and Frank do Exceptional work. They can take your idea and come up with a Design that goes beyond your expectation. I cant speak for everyone, but that is my experience. I will be returning shortly do get more Ink done.

I currently live in Hawaii and my twin sister lives in Sultan. I was planning a week long visit to the Evergreen state. My twin and I have talked about a twin tattoo for a few years. We finally had a design in mind and the opportunity to be together to get them done. I called a few shops and many were unable to accommodate the short notice and my limited availability. I finally called Tattoosmith & Company and spoke with Frank. From the start the customer service and care was on the forefront! Frank asked me a few questions and I explained the time restrictions and explained the type of tattoos we were looking to get along with the meaning behind them (I dont know why its a compulsion to over share with your hair dresser, bartender, and your tattoo artist). To my amazement after much disappointment Frank confirmed he could get us on the books before I had to return home however, due to squeezing us in he said we may have a little wait. We agreed to a day and time and my twin drove to the shop to place the very reasonable deposit to lock in our appointment. We showed up on our scheduled day and time and as warned we had a bit of a wait. While waiting I did take note of how clean the shop was top to bottom everything was well kept, clean, and sterile. As well as their health and safety procedures to ensure a positive environment for their customers well-being. That being said the wait wasnt so bad as the customers who were there getting work done were lovely and we engaged in conversation with the entire shop as though we were old friends. Christian did my sisters tattoo and was super patient with her understanding this was her first tattoo and has back issues. He really took his time and allowed her to take breaks as needed for her comfort. They engaged in conversation bonding over mutual new endeavors and she felt comfortable, and relaxed (as relaxed as one can be the first time), and I believe he did a wonderful job! Frank did my tattoo and I can not speak highly enough about him. He was amazing with his customer care and service. He provided an experience beyond expectations. I had the feeling of getting tattooed by an old friend rather than a stranger. Best of all I LOVE MY TAT! Thank you Frank & Christian. You two gave us the gift of wearing art that allows us to be together regardless of distance! I do HIGHLY recommend this shop. Worth the travel (regardless of where you are coming from), worth the wait! I look forward to my next visit and my next ink project with Tattoosmith & Company!

THIS is the place to come for your tattoos! Owner Mike is a talented, detail oriented, original artist. Tell him what you want and hell come up with the perfect design. Frank is quite amazing as well. Whether its a quick flash design or an original, all the artists have talent to spare. The shop is clean and has a comfortable easy going feeling. Ill be back again, just like all the times before!

I think a really great experience with Frank. My husband had arranged for a surprise visit to Tattoosmith, but told Frank that I would be getting script. I actually wanted symbolic pictures instead. On the spot, Frank helped me figure out what sort of pictures I wanted, where I should place them, and how large they should be. They are perfect! I am so pleased with how well they turned out and so thankful that Frank took such care to help me sort out my vision into workable art. Thank you for such a perfect experience.

I have been coming here for around 5-6 years now. Mike Mackenzie does all of my work. I trust his artistry and he has never done me wrong! I have 2 full sleeves by him and get stopped all the time by people wanting to know where I get my work done.The shop is clean, Frank is a cool dude, and conversation and laughs are always here. I dont trust any other shop with my skin.

Oh my goodness Frankie is the best! First time at Tattoosmith & Company and I feel like this is my guy for piercings! He was recommended by a friend and we both went in to get piercings together and the experience was awesome. We were both nervous and he made us feel comfortable and educated on each individual piercing. I got my septum done and it was the easiest piercing Ive ever had done. He walked me through the whole process and hes the only piercer who I havent stalled because I wasnt ready or to scared - so thats a milestone for me. Thanks for a great experience Frankie and I cant wait for my next piercing!!

After seeing all the positive posts about Frankie Fingers I decided to bite the bullet and get my septum and left helix pierced. We went over pricing, jewellery, and paperwork first. Then after getting the room setup he went over the healing process of each piercing, treatment, and the average time for each piercing to be completely healed. Throughout the explanations he would ask if I had any questions or was having a hard time following. Once the jewellery and equipment was finished sterilizing in the autoclave he cleaned the area for the piercing and indicated with ink where it would sit. I checked in the mirror and gave him a thumbs up if I liked the placement. Frankie walked me through breathing while the piercing took place. Before I knew it both were done! Super quick, incredibly informative, and very friendly. Ill be coming back for any other piercings I might want in the future.

Frankie is one of the most respectful, personable, and professional piercers Ive come across. Hes now our regular piercer, and Im always happy and confident to return to him whether its for a new piercing, replacing a ball that fell off, asking any questions, or helping with troublesome healing piercings. Hes always been super kind and easy to talk to. His prices are also very reasonable, weve been in a pinch for money but hes always made sure were not breaking our bank. I can always trust Frankie to make sure my face decorations are happy. Besides from Frankie, all of the other tattoo artists and shop staff always have a good vibe and will be happy to help you out. And theres always a bonus, you might get to see the shy but friendly shop Frenchie named Sylvia/Sylvie. Long story short, this is the place to go and I wouldnt have it any other way!

Very friendly. They did wonderful work. One of the artists even tattooed my 6yo son. He put on the whole show, even shaving his arm for the tattoo. Although I only have one tattoo, Ill return for the touch up and for any new ones that I may be interested in.

I am so glad I came here vs the place I was tempted to go (because they will put a ring in your nose immediately after piercing).After Frankie explained to me why he recommends putting a stud in until the nostril is healed, it made complete sense to me. I actually had the issue he mentioned (bubble on nose above piercing site) after getting my nose pierced in Kirkland last year and having a ring put in immediately after.Frankie was very, very thorough explaining EVERYTHING which I appreciated. This is my 4th time having my nose pierced but this is the first time I felt this comfortable with and had this much faith in a piercer. He definitely cares about his customers and I will recommend him to others. Thank you!

Ive gotten tattooed by Mike Mackenzie Kodiak multiple times. My husband has also. He is definitely the best tattoo artists that Ive gotten tattooed by. He is always down for my random ideas and bright colors. I am still ongoingly stoked about everything that he has done on my body. Ive also gotten tattooed by his apprentice named Aly. She makes some solid tattoos too! Not only would I recommend everyone to come here for most types of tattoos... I would also tell everyone to come and get pierced by Frankie. Any kind of piercing! He pierced my lip over 10 years ago and I still have it and it is still great.

We went there to get my daughters ears pierced because the reviews were excellent. The fellow was very helpful as she made her choice of jewelry, explained the procedure and aftercare thoroughly, and used gloves and sterile instruments. We were pleased with his service.

Clean environment and Mike does some of thee best work, his detail and vision is quite impressive. Even if you are unsure of what you want give him some ideas and he wont disappoint. I can only speak to the piercing part of the biz, but that was awesome. Frankie is a very professional, gentle piercer and works hard to make sure youre happy with the results.

This shop came up on a Google search for the nearest body piercing place to Whidbey Island. The bead fell out of the captive bead ring in my nose and my fingers are too fat to manipulate the damn beads, so I required professional assistance. Stopped in without an appointment and Frankie Fingers was quick and very friendly. Felt immediately at ease around him. I was ready to pay up to $15-$20 for him changing out my nose ring for me, but Frankie did it, not only fast, but for no charge. I will most definitely make the excursion to the mainland for my next piercing just to give Frankie my business. Epitome of excellent customer service.

My tattoo artist was Aly Crombag and she was THE BEST! She provided me an exact replica of the picture I sent her. I was excited to see the outcome. Im literally obsessed. I went to Frank to get my shears tatt, And I could not be happier with how they turned out! He has such attention to detail you can tell he really takes pride in his craft! How he keeps a conversation while putting this much attention in to detail i dont understand, but im glad he can! 10/10 would recommend! Ill be back for sure!
